Though Rainbow Dash and Applejack were long in competition for the affections of their fashionista friend, in the end, Applejack won the competition. Six months after they started dating they got engaged, and today Rainbow Dash receives a letter announcing the upcoming wedding and inviting her to attend. She writes a response.

This was inspired by my other story The Final Layer in where Rainbow Dash won Rarity's affections, so now I put it on the other foot, and wanted to write something a little sad.
