Frightfully Generous
Morning Fright
Previous Chapter“They're going to eat me!” Rarity rolled side to side in her extravagant bed tirelessly, her pink satin sheets wrinkling and falling to the dark floor below.
“No, the big one is in my mane!” She whimpered in her slumber, dainty white hooves lifting up in the air batting away invisible pests.
“Spiders dancing!?” Rarity suddenly snapped awake in horror, finding that she was floating high above her bed wrapped tightly in a fresh cocoon.
The mare grew limp in absolute terror of the moment, she wanted to scream though only a squeak of helplessness escaped her tiny upturned muzzle. Her large blue eyes watching with awe as Muffet descended from the ceiling slowly, her mouth curled into a sickly wicked smile of fangs.
“Good morning, Starshine!” Muffet giggled femininely before plucking a strand of webbing, Rarity softly let free plopping onto large bed with the utmost care.
“You're not eating me?” Rarity scrunched her nose awkwardly.
“Good heavens no! That would be so rude to devour one's hostess!” Muffet raised a thin brow cutely, swinging off her web as she landed on the floor to the right with absolute grace.
“Just the cocoon thing…” Rarity blushed a bright pink hue over both cheeks, giving a feminine long stretch upon her sheets.
“Oh, you seemed chilled last night.” Muffet flaunted her hand to the mare with sophisticated sass.
“So I bundled you up, all nice and toasty!” The charming spider lifted a hand over her lips, giving a polite giggle.
“That's very sweet of you, darling.” Rarity nervously replied, the horrific memories of the night before flooding back.
Muffet simply gave a curtsey in place like any polite young girl, exiting the room with a warm lovely smile. Making sure to give her hostess some privacy to get ready, the sound of her scurrying down the hallway echoing across the house eerily.
Rarity had no idea what she could do in this predicament, the last thing she wanted was to be rude to her guests. Hundreds of guests that if possibly provoked could swarm her house easily, devouring the helpless pony within.
Giving a loud groan of dismay Rarity quickly floated an elegant white brush to her side, haphazardly brushing her mane as her mind drifted to the sight of her house. It had to be complete mess by now, that many creatures in one setting could do nothing but destruction.
Releasing a loud horse sigh from betwixt her lips, Rarity braced herself to see her home in shambles, she had to find Twilight soon and search for a way to send these creatures back home. She was a pony of neatness and grace two things spiders couldn't be, biting her lower lip the unicorn headed downstairs to quite the sight.
Spotless, the house was even cleaner than the night before. The kitchen was alive with the sounds of cooking and laughter, wonderful otherworldly scents wafting across the air delicately tickling Rarity's nose. Sweet cinnamon, rich vanilla and even delectable melted chocolate, every warm cozy scent imaginable flooded the house.
Rarity noticed her work table was empty of her personal commissions from the night before, to the left they were hung up neatly in place ready to be shipped out. But such a thing was impossible, it would've taken her days to bejewel those dresses of the finest silk.
Yet before her very eyes they were covered in shimmering rubies and glistening sapphires, sewn in place with care like no other and femininely placed in the perfect positions. Rarity let her ears fold back sheepishly with shame, she had thought of these monsters as creatures of decay.
But if anything they were intelligent and very polite.
“Something wrong madame?” Muffet daintily tapped the mare on her shoulder, Rarity giving a cute “eek” before turning around with a somber gaze.
“Did you do all this?” Rarity waved her hoof across this lovely site.
“But of course, we're guests it’d be rude to leave a mess.” Muffet smiled warmly watching the pony suddenly lean in giving her a hug.
“I must apologise for my rude behavior darling, I just thought.” Rarity searched her mind for a phrase that wouldn't be considered rude, ocean blue eyes narrowing slightly.
“That spiders were just creeping, crawling pests?” Muffet crossed all six arms across her torso adorably, arching a thin brow a bit sarcastically.
Rarity pursed her lips into a frown of defeat, her cheeks on fire with the hot burning of a beet red blush. Muffet simply bursting into a fit of giggles out of the blue, each of her five eyes sparkling joyously.
“It's perfectly fine deary, wouldn't be the first time!” Muffet used her tiny hands to quickly primp the mare’s mane, making sure her hostess didn't appear frazzled.
With a sly wink the spider swayed her hips side to side, her bouncy raven pigtails dancing carelessly in place as she was swift to lead the unicorn into the kitchen area. Rarity was happy to follow the creature towards the delectable scent of freshly baked goods, both entering the small workplace bustling with excitement.
Dozens of spiders were busy baking various sweets and cakes, others joyously brewing teas of every flavor in Equestria. Rarity had to admit that some blueberry tea right now would be absolutely divine, the unicorn wasting no time to politely take a seat at the main table.
“This is just fabulous, dear!” Rarity beamed with delight a plate of lovely cherry filled donuts being brought over to her swiftly by tiny spiders.
“You must taste the donuts, it's a family recipe!” Muffet flaunted six hands towards the unicorn cutely, Rarity nodding in agreement her magic lifting a sweet treat up high.
“Mmm, smells divine!” Rarity took a very feminine bite from the fruit filled sweet, savoring the sweet yet tart taste of the donut with a tiny moan of pleasure.
“Ahuhuhu, it's a Spider Donut! In fact I think that was Aunt Sharon!” Muffet grinned in devious delight, barring sharp gleaming fangs with mischievous intent.
Rarity just held the donut in her mouth politely, her eyes widening out into large pools of unbound terror. She wasn't sure, but could swear she felt Sharon's legs twitching in her mouth, the cream colored unicorn turning a sickly shade of green.
“Ahuhuhu, I'm just kidding hon!” Muffet gave an adorable snort aloud, waving sweetly with her thin fingers towards a tiny spider stirring a bowl of fresh batter.
“Sharon, is my top Baker! Taught this itsy bitsy spider everything she knows!” Muffet was quick to dance elegantly around the kitchen, checking in on her family politely.
“Yes, funny.” Rarity slowly swallowed the bite, her appetite quickly fading away into the abyss.
Muffet reached across the counter picking up a large wicker basket, letting it drape gracefully from one of her slender arms. Those midnight colored eyes lighting up with a sense of excitement, her lips curling into a confident sweet smile.
“Shall we be off?” The young spider arched her hips to the side deviously, Rarity swallowing a rather large lump in her throat with caution.
“Oh dear, off where!?” Rarity felt an icy chill run down her spine.
“Off to gather supplies at the market!” Muffet twirled in place playfully.
“Oi.” Rarity folded her ears back slowly, this would be an odd one to explain.
