Equestria Heat.

As Tim,Shining Armor and Princess Celestia were seated they were talking.Tim told them about the world he came from.The Princess asked the one question,although she believed she knew the answers.

Princess Celestia asked,"So Detective Miller.According to Captain Armor,you came here looking for 2 others of your kind.What lead you to Equestria??"

Tim opened the briefcase and brought out the file on The Wilkins Homicide.And said,"Well Your Highness.It began when I was a little boy......Henry Wilkins the man in the photograph was the victim.My dad who was an L.A.P.D. Detective himself,he was the reason I joined the department after I was Discharged from The United States Army.A branch of my nation's military.Anyway he was assigned to the case,but it went cold and he worked on it from time to time over the years.I think he found the truth,and I also think it got him killed."

Tim also showed Princess Celestia and Shining Armor the file that had his dads murder.Both ponies were sickened and saddened by what they saw.

Princess Celestia said,"I am so so very sorry for your loss Detective."

Tim continued,"Thank You Your Highness.Anyway.My dad believed that Henry Wilkins was tortured to death.In fact he was butchered,Heres's a photo of him.According to my dads investigation.Henry Wilkins was a research scientist.Doing blood research.My dad later found an amulet at the estate sale after Wilkins was buried and bought it.He opened it the wings and a crystal opened a portal that would lead me here.My dad also believed,as I do,that Wilkins sent his wife and unborn child thru the portal,to protect them from whatever cult they had belonged to.

Shining asked,One question Tim.What does L.A.P.D.mean???

Tim replied,"It's the abbreviation for The Los Angeles Police Department.Hence L.A.P.D."

Shinging facepalmed himself and said,Oh.Sorry.I didn't click.

Tim chuckled and replied,"It's OK.No harm.No foul."

As Princess Celestia read the case file and passed the pages to Shining Armor.THey were both shocked at the similarities to the murder in Los Angeles,and the murders in Equestria.

Princess Celestia asked,Detective Miller.How did you come to have this file.

Tim showed the letter from his dad to The Regal Alicorn and said,My dad and I thought up a code system so no one would understand what we were say,Except us.

Princess Celestia smiled and said,"You father was a very cleaver man.And it seems that the murders of Henry Wilkins and your father are similar to a couple of murders we have had here.My sons doctor was the first.Years later.3 brothers.Triplets and who worked at my school of magic,were all murdered the same way."

Tim looked at the Equestrian case files and said,You're right Your Highness.These cases are similar.My dad believed that Henry Wilkins wife and son were going to be sacrificed.And that's why Wilkins sent them thru the portal.Here's a photo of Debbie Wilkins.She was about 8 months pregnant at the time.

Princess Celestia took the photo of Debbie Wilkins and her eyes went wide.She then looked at Tim again.And said,"Detective Miller.I know this woman."

Tim asked,"How do you know her Your Highness??And please.Call me Tim.Is she still alive??"

Princess Celestia frowned and replied,"I found her in the woods near here.She had just performed an emergancy C-Section,to save her baby boy.She handed the baby to me,and with her eyes she basiclly told me to protect him.She died moments later,from shock and massive blood loss.She is buried where I found her.I didn't know where she came from.I adopted the child and raised him as my son.I named him Solar Ignition Flare.He is a prince and heir to the throne of Equestria.Princess Celestia then looked at Shining Armor and asked,Captain.Where is my son now??"

Shining answered,"He and Twilly are supposed to be coming home today.They,Spike and the girls went to Rainbow Falls this weekend."

Princess Celestia then wrote a note and used her magic to make it vanish.Then said,"Let us have some lunch,while we wait.Tim.I assume you are a meat eater,like my son."

Tim replied,"Oh yes ma'am."

Princess Celestia called for a servant and ordered a roast beef sandwhich and patato salad for Tim.And Dandilon sanchwhichs for her and Shinging Armor.

Meanwhile.Back in Ponyville.

Prince Solar and his wife,Twilight Sparkle.Spike.The Dragon,and the 3 daughters Solar and Twilight adopted,Art Paint.A Unicorn.Night Glow.A Bat Pony,and Scootaloo.A Pegasus had all just gotten home from Rainbow Falls.Everypony was tired,but they all had a great time at The Rainbow Falls annual Swap Meet Festival.

Twilight looked at Solar and said,"I'm so glad we're home."

Solar answered,"Yeah,me too,but I'm glad you and the girls found some cool stuff."

Scootaloo then said,Yeah,and Uncle Spike found some comic books he likes.

Art Paint said,"And I found some art supplies."

Night Glow then said,"And I found some sheet music."

Just then Solar and Twilight heard a loud belching sound.They both knew it could only be one thing.Spike then entered the room and said,"Hey Solar.It's a messege from mom."

Solar said,"What does she want??"

Spike replied,"Read it yourself.I'm your brother,not you errand boy."

Solar sighed,took the scroll and opened it and read it.

"Solar."

"Come to Canterlot,at once.This is urgent."

"Mom."

When Solar finished reading the note,he put his jacket on.and said,"OK everypony.I hafta go."

Art asked,"Where are you going daddy?"

Solar replied,"I have to go and see Grandma sweetie,but I hope I will be home soon."Solar looked at the other fillies and said,"Now you girls be good for Mommy and Uncle Spike OK??"

Scootaloo,Art and Night all replied,"We will."

Twilight then said,"Be careful honey.And say hi to your mom for us."

Solar kissed the violet unicorn and left.And teleported himself to his childhood home.The Royal Castle in Canterlot.

Back in Princess Celestia's chambers.a gaurdpony knocked on the door.

Princess Celestia said,"Come in."

The Guardpony came up,saluted and said,"Your Highness.You son has arrived."

Princess Celestia looked at Shining Armor and said,"Captain.Go and meet Solar.Then bring him in in about 5 minutes."

Shining nodded and left the room.Tim looked at Princess Celestia and asked,"What is this all about Your Highness??"

Princess Celestia answered,I'm just looking out for my son.He has never seen anyone of his own kind.Ever.I just don't want the shock to be too much for him."

Tim asked,"You love your son that much??"

Pricncess Celestia replied,"Yes.Since he was born.I may not be his birth mother,but He is my son.Just the same."

Tim said,"There was an old TV show called The Big Valley,it ran in rerun,when I was a kid.It was about a family in The American Old West.One of the characters The head of the family Victoria Barkley,Loved her son Heath,even though Heath wasn't her real son.Because Heath was her late husbands love child,but she Loved Heath just the same.You remind of Victoria Barkley in many ways.Like how much you love your son,even if he isn't your blood.Or in this case.Your own spieces.I like that about you ma'am."

Princess Celestia replied,"Why thank you Tim.Although.I don't know what this TV is that you speak of."

Then Shining Armor walked in with his brother in law.When Solar saw another creature that was just like him.He was in awe.

Princess Celestia said,"Solar.I would like to introduce Tim Miller.He is a police detective from a world called Earth.It is where you and your birth mother came from.Tim.This is my son.His Royal Highness.Prince Solar Ignition Flare."

Tim bowed his head,extended his hand and said,"Your Highness.I'm so pleased to meet you."
