Chapters Chapter 1: Behind the Apple Tree
↞Chapter 1: Behind the Apple Tree↠
It was oddly so hot for early morning. The moment Pinkie Pie touched hoof on concrete, she winched back from the heat. It wasn’t even summer, yet the weather decided that this late April would feel more like a mid-July. Despite how Pinkie felt about this heatwave, everyone else in Ponyville seem to be taking advantage of the sunlight. Who could blame them, though. This was the perfect condition for picnics and BBQs.
The Cakes also wanted to use the weather to their leverage by selling milkshakes and apple fritter combos for a discounted price before noon. This brought in a mass of customers and honestly had been their busiest day all year.
Good news for the Cakes. Bad news for Pinkie.
They had her working her flank off and handling the herd of hungry customers all by herself. Mrs.Cake used the excuse of having to take care of the twins, while Mr.Cake used no excuse at all. Simply telling her he had worked on other more “important” tasks all night and needed a break. What could the mare do but obey her boss and suck it up, but she was already feeling exhausted and it wasn’t even 10am yet.
Pinkie was optimistic. That is what she is known for. Optimism and this urge to help any pony out, but lately she was finding it very hard to put a smile on her face, roll up her sleeves, and get to work. On any other day she would call her friends and have them help her, but she was trying to be more independent. Or at least that is what her new coatfriend has been encouraging her to do.
Augustus.
Augustus, she would say it over and over again in her head. Just dreaming about that mysterious yet majestic name. He was such the charmer. A kind, and soft spoken young stallion, who still had it in him to crack a joke every so often. He seemed to like Pinkie for her more docile, calm and private side, rather than what everyone else was used to seeing. He also wasn’t a mirrored image of her. He barely carried on like an exaggerated “cartoon character”, a term Pinkie first found a little offensive but quickly learned that he meant no harm in saying it.
He was different.
So much different from her, and perhaps that is what the pink filly found most attractive about him. It had to only be his personality since she hasn’t seen him in person, not just yet. They spoke over the phone and through letters, sometimes the occasional telegraph which the mare enjoyed the most. He was an artist and he often wrote about painting her sweet face and holding her warm body. Pinkie would smile and read his romantic poems over and over again, dreaming about him holding her as well.
She blissfully recalled their first meeting. He sent a letter, claiming to be a stallion from Manehattan only briefly stopping in Ponyville on his way back from a trip, and spotting Pinkie Pie moving elegantly throughout the bakery. Serving ponies with such grace yet frivolous motions that it left him mesmerized. He asserted he just had to reach out to her, and after reading it Pinkie Pie honestly assumed it was a joke. It was the only reason she felt compelled to respond to him at first.
Now he stood as the only pony she trusted with her deepest darkest secrets, yet none of her friends even knew about him.
“Excuse me ma’am, do you guys still have those apple fritters?” A chubby mare with a tiny foal tucked between her front legs approached Pinkie. Of course she gave them a huge smile. Clearing her throat before proclaiming,
“Sorry we just ran out, but I’m on my way now for more ingredients. Come back in about an hour and I’ll happily give you the first fritter of the batch!”
The mare nodded before giving her a soft thank you and walking off. Pinkie watched them go before turning towards her destination. Mr.Cake “kindly ” requested she go get more apples since they ran out. To no surprise to Pinkie since he had her baking back to back while also manning the cash register. You would think the smart thing to do would be to get the apples himself while she worked the bakery, but she knew that Cake only had her run this errand since she was friends with Applejack and would most likely get a discount.
At least she could get a break. No matter how small it may be.
Pinkie trotted through town, grinning at a few passersbys, and giving a brief hello to anypony she made eye contact with. All she could think about was getting back in her room, under her covers and on the phone with the only other pony that truly understood her. She felt like a dumb filly all over again, but that feeling was pretty addictive. If she stood there long enough she might’ve let out a loud booming laugh at her silly actions. Was this love? Maybe.
She really hoped so.
It didn’t take her long to reach the apple farm. She practically had the route implanted in her brain, and despite the beautiful weather, the streets were pretty much empty. From the music so loud it was vibrating below her hooves, Pinkie could tell exactly were most ponies were spending their morning. The community pool didn’t just make a good spot to cool off, but also to meet sweet and interesting ponies. Pinkie Pie would know.
She was an expert on these things.
The frizzy haired mare slowed her pace as she made her way up the beaten path. The trees surrounding her were as voluptuous as ever and made for good shade. Pinkie basked in the cool breeze that brushed along her fur, praying to Celestia that the wind wouldn’t settle.
Not just yet.
It wasn’t until she made it to the farm house that Pinkie noticed just how soaking wet she was. She could only imagine how gross she smelled covered in her sweat. Her hair was also more frizzy, making her resemble a lion more than an equine. If Rarity could see her now she would have a spasm. That thought oddly made Pinkie chuckle to herself a little.
Skipping up to the wooden door and giving it a faint tap, the mare waited in anticipation. She stood there for a good two minutes before the door finally swung open as a little filly stepped out and shut the door behind her. She had a saddle on her side and a pair of swimming goggles nested on top her red mane. She barely acknowledged Pinkie Pie.
“Hey Apple Bloom! I’m here for some apples, is AJ around?” Pinkie asked with a little too much enthusiasm. The foal barely gave her a glance as she hurried off to her barn. Did she just ignore her? This was beyond disrespectful. She was lucky Pinkie knew how to contain her emotions otherwise she would’ve went off on her. Following Apple Bloom to the barn, she asked once again with a little more authority in her voice.
“Is your sister here?”
“Yeah, yeah. She’s somewhere in the fields with Big Mac,” The filly then pointed a hoof towards a cluster of trees far off in the distance. Very descriptive . Pinkie was going to ask for more details but found that Apple Bloom had already ran off with a rubber floatie in her mouth. Taking in a deep breath, the pink mare made her way to the orchard.
It was very quiet out there. Very peaceful. Birds chirped in the trees above her head, the wind kept dancing on her skin, and the vibrant greens, whites and reds were candy to the eyes. She found herself galloping along the path. Jumping and skipping as if she landed in some majestic forest that demanded she flowed with the breeze. If Pinkie didn’t catch herself she might’ve fell into a song. Not that that would be a bad thing.
There was always time for a song.
She wondered if Augustus ever felt this way. Did he ever get this odd urge to sing just for the sake of singing? What did his singing voice sound like? Was it as deep and comforting as his regular voice? What songs did he like? Would he like her singing? These were all questions Pinkie suddenly became so obsessed with. She realized she never sang for him.
She would the moment she got home.
The pony finally spotted her friend a few feet away from her. She was out in an opening between the trees, speaking with her brother. Pinkie was about to call out to them until she noticed the way Big Mac was talking to Applejack. He was aggressive. Very aggressive and getting all in her face. Pinkie could faintly make out what he was yelling. Something about “I’m done” followed by a lot of profanity. This shocked Pinkie more than anything, since he was usually seen as a silent and gentle giant, but now he was terrifying. His big mass draped his far smaller sister in shadow and the red of his fur helped to emphasize his burning rage. Despite that, Applejack barked back at him. She stood her ground raising her voice to the same level of his own. Pinkie always admired that about her friend. The lack of any fear.
Aj spit in his face.
It had to be the worse thing she has ever done up until then, since Pinkie could just feel her sudden regret. It got quiet for all but half a second before she was hit hard in the face. Her honey body hit the ground. It echoed throughout Pinkie’s head as she slowly watched her fall.
If it were a normal day that hit would've stopped then. Big Mac would’ve fell to the ground apologizing. He would’ve helped his sister up promising to never do that ever again. He would’ve been his kind gentle self, but as if this damned heat served as a morbid warning, today wasn’t a normal day. Big Mac didn’t stop there, instead her brother got on top of her delivering more blows with his front hooves. He was pounding his metal horseshoes repetitively on her face over and over again as if she was another stallion and not his little sister.
Pinkie Pie could do nothing but watch. This couldn’t be real. He wasn’t actually beating her, he couldn’t actually be doing that. Pinkie just stood there paralysed as he kept going. She wanted to believe it was fake. That this was some joke orachstered by Rainbow Dash. It had to be. The pink mare was ready to laugh out loud. She wanted to yell “You got me! ” as her friend flew out of the nearest tree wiping a tear from her eye from just from how funny this all was. But Pinkie knew better. She could tell it was all real from the blood now shooting from her friend's face.
She wasn’t seeing this. She didn’t want to believe it but before she even realized what she was doing the word left her lips and everything froze.
“Stop!” It came out as a pathetic holler.
Suddenly they were aware of her presence, and she could see the embarrassment on Applejack’s face as she scrambled to get back on her feet. As she tried not to come off as weak. Big Mac let her go. He simply looked at her, whipped his muzzle, and walk off in the opposite direction.
“Pinkie..A-ah didn’t see ya there..” Aj made a weak laugh while placing her hat back on her head. “..ya caught us at a bad time...b-but what can ah do for ya?” Her southern drawl shook against Pinkie's ear drums. Were they just going to ignore what just happened? Obviously it was something she wasn’t supposed to see, but still she should at least try to address that. How could anypony be so calm after experiencing something like that. After having her brother betray her in the way he just did.
“I need..some apples,” She quietly said. So quietly it was completely out of character, but she couldn’t help it. Her eyes were now fixated on the pulsating black eye on her friend’s once harsh but clear face. Blood streamed down Applejacks nostrils as her bottom lip was also huge and swollen. This didn’t even compare to the bruises on her chest. They were repulsive. A canvas painted with purple and blue and staining her small yellow body.
Suddenly Pinkie was finding it hard to breath. It was like air was being suctioned right out of her lungs. She was panicking. She knew was panicking and maybe this wasn’t the best time to do it. But her body made her hyperventilate as it desperate tried to breathe.
“Pinkie?”
The ground was getting closer and closer to her face. She tried to catch herself but found that the world grew more darker until she was completely consumed by it. She no longer could hear Applejack or the impact her body made with the dirt floor.
↞⧫↠
The hum of a fan woke Pinkie out of unconsciousness. It blowed dry air on her wet face, not doing much to cool her off, rather serving more as an annoyance. The mare tried to sit up but found a strike of pain pulsate through her aching head. She winced in agony. Looking at her surrounding through her blurred vision, Pinkie suddenly remembered the minutes before she passed out. Now she laid in Applejack’s empty living room, alone. She could hear clamoring coming from the kitchen and prayed it was her friend.
Trying again to lift her heavy body up, Pinkie let out a soft cry. Suddenly whatever was going on in the other room stopped. The mare held her breath as she prepared for whoever was going to show up before her. To her relief it was the warm glow of the cowmare.
“Oh thank the stars, Pinkie ya up. Ah really thought ah almost lost ya there,” Aj nervously laughed through a tray of apple juice in her beaten mouth. She placed it down on the cluttered coffee table in front of her friend. With a smile she stood there waiting for Pinkie to grab the glass. With hesitation she finally did.
“Things haven’t been the same since ah had to send Granny Smith off with my great aunt...It's what me and Big Mac were arguing about if ya still wondering,” She paused.
Pinkie didn't know how to respond, so she kept silent as she sipped her juice. “Look ah know what you saw was..shocking but ah would really appreciate it if ya didn’t tell anpony about it-”
“Why did you let him do that? I-i mean that isn’t right, Applejack. Its really, really, really wrong and..” Pinkie interjected. She couldn’t believe Applejack would want to cover this up. What just happened to her was violent. It was vile and animalistic and just beyond something any sane pony would do. Especially to the ones they are supposed to love.
“..and it's not you to just let somepony do that to you.” Applejack looked nervous as she tried to brush Pinkie Pie off. “It ain’t like that, Pinkie. Ah mean, ya wouldn’t understand since ya ain’t as close to ya family as ah am, and ah think ya should just pretend like this didn’t happen-”
“Don’t give me that! You can’t let anypony take advantage of you no matter if they’re family or not. W-we should tell Twilight. I’m sure she’ll be able to help you guys work things out,”
The front door slammed shut. Aj jumped. “So I'll get ya those apples, Pinkie,” She practically yelled, trying to act as normal as ever and as if they weren’t just discussing punishing her brother for beating her face in. She had fear in her eyes. Something so foreign for her once strong-minded friend. In a hurry Applejack headed for the door, Leaving Pinkie alone in the house with that monster.
His hoofsteps were loud and heavy.
Big Mac leaned against the living room door frame. He had his eyes fixated on Pinkie’s small body. She could see the rage still in his eyes, and if it wasn’t for the pain in her forehead she would’ve gotten up and left. She still could. She really should.
“Ya really shouldn’t stick that nose in places it shouldn’t be. Might get ya hurt if you be catching my drift,” His voice was so low and terrifying. It rumbled in his throat and left his lips like smoke from a dragon. Pinkie needed to bite her tongue and just keep shut. This honestly wasn’t her place to just butt in and like Aj said; she should just pretend like she didn’t see anything. It was easy. Pinkie was good at pretending.
But the image of her friend’s face being pummeled in the ground and hearing her whimpers as she haphazardly tried to get him to stop just filled Pinkie’s mind. It wouldn’t be right to just ignore this. She couldn’t just sit by and “pretend ” that he wasn’t a violent meanie.
“And you really shouldn’t be beating up on your sister. What happened to family being one of the most important things in life? Huh? Did you suddenly forget about all of that because you’re upset about your grandma?” She should stop here. Just leave it there and get out. Forget the apples. By the look of the placement of the sun it was already afternoon anyways, so she was probably already in trouble with the Cakes.
Why risk getting hurt?
“That’s pathetic! And horrible! You’re just a big ol’ horrible bully, and just you wait until I tell the others. Oh boy Twilight will have your flank on a platter!” Pinkie was screaming at him. Why was she screaming? If Augustus saw her now he would tell her to calm down and think things through. Shouting doesn’t make your point anymore clear than presenting it in a normal and polite manner. She was getting too hyped and needed to relax.
Deep breaths Pinkie Pie.
Big Mac didn’t look so happy either. He didn’t even respond. Barely reacting to anything she was saying. His head was held high as he glared at her. He suddenly appeared a few feet taller as Pinkie felt the anger just radiating off of him. Now was a good time to leave. Getting on her hooves, Pinkie headed towards the front door only for him to block the way. She tried to wingle between him, but he didn’t budge.
“P-please move,” She attempted to demand in the most authoritative tone she could muster. He didn’t lift not even a muscle.
That’s fine. So he wasn’t cooperating.
Pinkie turned to head out the back door but was stopped by a tug on her tail. He lifted her by her behind before slamming her violently down on the wooden floor. Pinkie whimpered in pain from the sudden action. It felt like he shattered every bone in her body. She really needed to get out now. The pink mare pulled her tail free as she tried to get away from him. He got even more close, bit down on her neck, holding her place.
“Let me go you meanie, let me go now!” The mare went crazy kicking and screaming. Pounding her hooves on the ground like a foal having a tantrum and straining her vocal cords trying to persuade him to stop and gain anyone’s attention. He didn’t stop, though, and instead spread her hind legs open. “I said let me go!” Pinkie threw her head back knocking him in the jaw as he let go of her neck. Seizing the moment of freedom, Pinkie sprung to action, galloping towards the front door. Big Mac, though slightly hurt, still managed to catched up to her. Tackling her down and dragging her back towards the living room. “No, no stop.” Pinkie plead as she desperately tried to grab a hold of anything to prevent him from moving her further. Her body ached from the tackle and her eyes started to water as she wondered why Applejack was taking so long.
“Get off!”
He flipped her over and climbed on top. Pressing his weight against her torso and leaving her practically paralyzed. Pinkie could only squirmed beneath him as she prepared for stallion to beat on her like her did Aj. She closed her eyes and awaited for his hard hooves to make impact with her face, but it never came.
It was quiet for what felt like eternity. Only his harsh breathing filled the silent room. It was dry and deep and had this faint hiss that reminded the filly of the crack of a fire. Pinkie was tempted to take a peek at what was going on. Was he reconsidering hurting her? Maybe her words did get to him. It just had to. Big Mac still had to have that kind nature in him. Everypony has a rough day, and Pinkie Pie was willing to forgive him if he stopped now.
He didn’t.
Something damp and slithery pressed against her stomach. She wasn’t a dummy. Often blissfully unaware and sometimes naive, but she wasn’t a dummy. She knew what was touching her and what would happen if she didn’t do something. She had to do something but what? How was she going to stop him? She had no fight left in her, she could barely lift a hoof without feeling like she was using up all her energy. Maybe he would have some sympathy if he knew just how much she didn’t want this.
She really didn’t want this, not now and not by him.
“P-please..please don’t,” She spat out through broken tears. Her nose was running as her face flushed a furious red. Her whole expression seemed to cave in on itself as she let out loud hideous cries. Big Mac didn’t even flinch. He still pressed his shaft against the entrance of her marehood. He still got down real close to her muzzle as he stared her in her drenched face. He still thrusted his way inside her causing the most deafening wail to escape her lips.
Her pink face fell pale as suddenly Pinkie was hit with a rush of adrenaline. Her body was kicked into fight or flight as she once again tried to push him off her. Out of her. She just needed him to stop, but he kept going. Pulling out only to harshly shove back in. This pain was unfathomable as Pinkie never ever thought mating would feel like this. She knew that when the time was right for two ponies who loved each other to finalize their love, that they would agree to this. Enjoy it and enjoy each others bodies. She imagined several times mating with Augustus. She saw them dancing in the sheets, embracing their warm bodies and just holding each other at the end of it all. Knowing that they had each other and nothing would come between that.
But now she was ruined. Big Mac was taking her by force and she was helpless to do anything. She kept screaming for Applejack. She knew her friend would help her, she just knew if she screamed loud and long enough Applejack would burst through the door and pull him off of her. She would hold her and tell her everything would be alright, and she would punish this meanie. She just needed to keep screaming. Aj would hear her soon enough. They were friends and friendship never fails.
Aj wouldn’t fail her.
The red stallion grunted in pleasure as continued to invade her body. Drooling like a horny dog, seeming to lose his mind in the blend of pleasure and her screams. He was getting close. Pinkie could feel him tensing up and picking up speed.
She was on the verge of another panic attack. There had to be a way for her to somehow wiggle her lower body free. She couldn’t have him finish in her. Not with what would happen if he did. Her life would officially be over if he-
She didn’t even want to think about that.
Big Mac was now going crazy with his thrusts, hurting her more in his attempt to go deeper and deeper regardless of him already hitting her limit. He was already stretching her out despite only having half his length inside her.
‘N-no!..don’t do this-”
He harshly placed a hoof over her mouth. Getting down and whispering in her ear, “Shut the fuck up before ah shove my hoof down your throat,”. It was cold and mean. It was something she just wasn’t used to hearing. No pony would be so cruel. Why would he do this to her. Why would he say that, and why did she have to happen upon him beating his sister. If only she was home. If only today wasn’t so suddenly hot.
Pinkie couldn’t help herself then. The waterworks were becoming too unbearable that she couldn’t see anything around her. It was like dunking her head in chlorine filled water. Everything was just a blur of a form and maybe it was for the best. This way she didn’t have to see his face. She could just lay there and take it.
It wasn’t soon after that she felt the hot goo fill her guts. He finally stopped his humping and now just laid panting on top of her. Pinkie never felt so disgusted in her life. She also never felt this overbearing feeling of wanting to die. She really prayed for death or to just float away or anything. Anything but this.
It wouldn’t be a few more minutes before he finally pulled out and got up. Dick wobbling between his hind legs as he stood. He now looked satisfied with that face you make after a good meal. His red fur helped to cover her blood on him, but it was a different story for Pinkie. Her whole under belly was a mess. A gross sperm-filled, bloody mess.
“Wash her up and get her outta my house.” He barked.
Pinkie began sobbing all over again as she realized who he was talking to. Applejack stood at the front door. She just stood there for what had to be the past few minutes. She saw it all. She saw him hurt her. She heard Pinkie screaming, begging, pleading with him. She heard her crying for her. Crying to be saved, yet all she did was stand there. She let this happen. She let him hurt her.
How could she see her friend in desperate need, and just do nothing?
Author's Note
So this is it! I wrote it all today so it might feel rushed in some areas but I really needed to get it out of my head and on the page. I feel like Pinkie is sightly out of character. Am I the only one who thinks that?
I should just watch more episodes of the show just to make sure and grab a good grasp of how she behaves.
I plan to have chapter 2 out soon. If i spent all day tomorrow writing like I did today I might have it then XD.
Chapter 2: Unpleasant Surprise
↞Chapter 2: Unpleasant Surprise↠
Things haven't been the same since that day. It was a good two weeks now, yet it felt like it happened just yesterday. She never managed to get that image of Big Mac out of her head. His sick hollow eyes still pierced her skin. The sweat, the drool, the blood and other bodily fluid still seemed to stain her coat and mask her in his horrific stench. It didn't matter how much she washed, and washed, and washed. She would spend whole nights in the shower, risking upsetting her landlords and raking up the water bill. Pinkie honestly didn't care. She just wanted to feel clean again. She wanted her body to feel soft and untainted like before. She just wanted to be her old self again, but none of that mattered.
She was still so filthy .
She knew other ponies could tell. She saw how they stared at her funny. Maybe they were judging her for being so easy or bringing down the integrity of the town.
Ponyville was a clean wholesome place. They welcomed families and selfless heroes, not dirty skanks and the problems that came with them.
It was like strangers could see right through her. See through the facade she put up. See through her worthless smile. It was so obvious, and it honestly didn't matter how much Pinkie tried and tried, she still couldn't hide her emotions. That signature joy she usually carried on her face no longer felt genuine.
But when ponies would ask is she was alright of course she would reply with a "I'm fine " or "Never better ", because honestly how else would she respond? How do you tell somepony you were violated and hurt in ways you shouldn't imagine. How do you just shatter another ponies innocence by explaining it. How to communicate to them that it was not her fault. It wasn't after all. It wasn't her fault. Even if she wasn't just minding her business and simply grabbing what she came for and leaving. And maybe she did say a few unflattering words towards a guy that just went off on his own sister. And maybe she was wrong to assume Applejack would ever take her side against family. It still wasn't her fault.
No one would understand that. No one here at least. Ponyville was useless when it came to such subject matter. Innocent. Everyone seemed clueless to the threats of the real world, and Pinkie could now understand what Augustus meant when he told her this. If only she had the courage in her heart to tell him what happened. Maybe he would comfort her and give her good words of wisdom. Maybe he would make it all better. She just wanted to feel good again, but every time Pinkie would consider even saying a word to him, the harsh realities of life would come crashing down on her. He would simply see her as the gross and unlovable slut, that she saw herself as.
There was a light knock on the bathroom door. "Pinkie? You in there? A friend is here to see you," Mrs.Cake called out from the other side of the wood.
Pinkie Pie had been deliberately trying to avoid any of her friends, but especially Applejack. It didn't help that she would show up every day with free apples and treats. Sometimes bringing just random gifts of stuff she assumed Pinkie liked. Often it was balloons and party favors, and yeah Pinkie did enjoy all those things, but not as an obvious bribe to try and buy her friendship back. She would take them regardless, say a quick thank you, and continue to smile and act like everything is okay.
To think that the farm mare would even request that she kept the whole thing quiet. Pinkie had no plans of ever purposely recalling her assault again, let alone telling folks that would just sit there and ridicule her, so it was easy to nod in agreement. The more she assumed she was cooperating, the faster she could get away.
"C-can you tell her I'm not here?" Pinkie desperately asked. Mrs.Cake was a good mare, she didn't always do things Pinkie liked, but she would never describe her as 'bad' or really 'mean'. But she hasn't been very understanding these past weeks. Often she would direct Applejack directly towards her despite Pinkie requesting on countless times that since they weren't on the best of terms at the moment, she rather not see her.
"Sorry, dear. Just come out and speak to them for a few minutes. They did come all this way to see you,"
"Please no-" but before Pinkie could finish she heard her footsteps walking away. There was no getting out of this. Maybe she could just say a very quick hello and see what AJ brought with her this time. Afterwards she'll quickly escape back to her room. She has been feeling sick and moody lately so she could always use that excuse to stay in bed.
Looking at herself through the bathroom mirror, Pinkie Pie adjusted her unkept hair, she splashed water on her face, and hoped that her red eyes wouldn't give away that she's been crying. Taking a deep breath, she swung the door open and wore her happiest of faces.
She hadn't even turned the corner before exclaiming, "Hiya, Applejack!-" until noticing that it wasn't her hat-wearing friend that awaited her. Pinkie Pie froze when she saw him. An olive stallion with deep chocolate eyes and a curly mane to match.
"I-i'm sorry to appear unannounced..I just know you like surprises and gifts and-" The horn above his head illuminated a dark brown glow as a large bow materialized and wrap itself around him. "I thought I'd be both...so surprise!"
He then gave the most sweet yet nervous smile Pinkie has ever seen. He didn't even have to tell her who he was, she already knew just by his soft voice. If this was two weeks ago, before she was tainted, Pinkie would've ran to embrace him with a kiss or a loving hug. She would've been overcome with joy. If it was two weeks ago Pinkie would've been happy to see him.
Now she felt like breaking down all over again.
All she could think about was not having him see her like this. He couldn't know that she was no longer innocent.
"How did you get here? I mean.." She couldn't even stop her voice from cracking a bit.
"Well I've been planning it for a while. I was going to come on your birthday, but I felt like we were beginning to drift apart." He slightly lowered his head while messing with a string of fabric found on the floor.
"You haven't responded to any of my calls or letters, so I guess in a desperate attempt to save what little relationship we had.." He chuckled to himself before slowly approaching the pink earth pony. She only seemed to stand there. Emotionless. Not quite looking at him, but more like beyond him. Almost as if he was made of pure glass.
"..so I packed my things, quit my job, and moved down to Ponyville," He took Pinkie's foreleg in his. Cradling it like a mother would her foal. He seemed to try and read her face, looking for any reaction, be that happiness, tears of joy or even disappointment, but there was nothing.
"Maybe I'm not exactly what you expected me to be," He was a little right on that. By the sound of his voice Pinkie would've never imagined somepony more slender and feminine. His jaw was a bit round like a mare's, and he was only taller than Pinkie by a few inches. His eyes were also doe-like, lashes far too long for a stallion. His dark hair pinned up and at this awkward length. It wasn't long enough to be seen as a "filly cut " but also not short enough to fit in with any stallion she knew.
He was pretty. Not handsome, but pretty .
For some reason Pinkie Pie felt like she could breathe again. There was this fear at the back of her head that she really didn't want to address. Every time she was forced to look at the opposite sex, it was like she was being forced down all over again, and Pinkie Pie knew. She knew not all stallions were like that. Hell, it wasn't even a few weeks ago that she couldn't even fathom any pony doing such a thing to another. So looking at Augustus now and realizing he was probably far too small to really hurt her, gave Pinkie a breath of relief.
She gasped for air through her tears before grabbing and hugging him tight.
"No you're perfect," was all she could get out while letting out a nice long sob. They stood there in the empty entrance way of Sugar Cube Corner, just finding comfort in each other's warmth.
Augustus didn't exactly know why she was crying, but assumed this meeting was very emotional for her. He grew excited at the fact that she loved him enough to break down like this. And to call him perfect? He's never heard anypony describe him as such before.

"So I wanted your opinion on a few places before I made my final decision,"
Pinkie pie was slurping on a carrot smoothie. She'd been so caught up in her own silly thoughts that she hasn't been paying much attention to anything he was saying. Her eyes were locked in on the little pool of spilt smoothie she left next to her glass.
"Pinkie?" He waved his hoof to try and gain her attention. She looked at him and smiled.
"Sorry what did you say?"
"Well I was talking about apartments, but if you aren't really interested in moving in with ne...I-i would understand,"
She cut him off. Not really acknowledging his question or concern.
"Let's meet some of my friends! I can introduce you to them as my coatfriend–no my fiance," She was suddenly getting so hyped, but this would prove that she isn't worthless and all used up. If ponies saw her with someone they would know she was still good. That someone could still love her.
"Fiance?" He looked puzzled. His left eyebrow raised a little and his head tilted.
"Sorry. I mean I know you didn't propose or anything...I don't know why I said that," Pinkie grew quiet again realizing how pathetic that just was. Why would he ever move in with her. She was so forceful. So desperate.
"No no that's fine. It's perfect actually, haha," He let out a soft laugh. His wide eyes dimming a little as he exposed his straight white teeth. It was cute. Like a filly.
"I brought this for you," with a poof of smoke, a small red box landed in front of Pinkie Pie. She grew excited knowing exactly what was inside.
"I know we've only known each other for a few short months and we only just met in person, but I'm seriously crazy for you ..and I see you feel the same way about me so Pinka-"
" Who's this fine lookin' friend of yours" That harsh drawl seemed to come out of thin air. Applejack strolled up to their table with a few barrels of apples on her side. She oddly swayed like she might tip over from the lightest touch. Those apples didn't look that heavy, especially for some pony like Aj.
Her face seemed fine, almost untouched and Pinkie figured her 'friend' was using makeup to cover up another one of her brother's 'accidents'. That is what she told her several days ago. That Mac only did it by accident. You know the usual slipping and falling into raping someone. Quite common for him apparently.
If today wasn't so much of a stressful emotional rollercoaster, Pinkie might've jumped up and greeted her like normal. Instead her smile fell into an annoyed frown. She really didn't want to deal with her. Not now. Not ever.
Augustus looked at his fillyfriend with confusion. Were they not good friends? Hell, such good friends that they were literally the definition of friendship?
"H-hi you must be Applejack and another element of harmony," He got to his hooves, comb his mane back, and bowed as if she was royalty. Pinkie didn't even so much as flinch to face her.
"Ya got that right! And who are you?" She said in this sickenly cocky manner. Another thing Pinkie just hated about her.
"Well I'm-"
"Ya ain't a cop are ya? Not that ah care or nothin'. Ah just ain't ever seen yous around these parts," Applejack sluggishly dropped her apples and took a seat next to Pinkie Pie. She smelled as musky as ever but there was a lingering scent that Pinkie Pie couldn't quite put her nose on. It smelled toxic and unfortunately so familiar, bring the mare back to a time in her younger years she much rather forget. She scooted a little to give herself more distance between them.
"You don't have to worry about me snitching on you, AJ. He's only my loving fiance," Pinkie jokingly laughed. Applejack nervously laughed along side with her. Trying not to come off as bothered by her comment.
"Oouwee! Pinkie ya ain't ever told me ya had a coatfriend. He's pretty small thang, though, dontcha think?" Aj looked him up and down. He looked back at her slightly puffing his chest out so not to appear anymore cowardly. She scoffed, knowing just how easy she could throw him off the table and pin him down despite that horn of his. If he said so much as a word out of line she would snap it like a toothpick.
"W-well me and Pinkie haven't been dating for a while, and I only just got a chance to see her for the first time today-" Augustus was practically fumbling over his words. Something about Applejack made him feel so emasculated. Much more than he usually felt in a room full of stallions.
"Today?!? What have y'all been doing all this time? Don't tell me he catfished ya Pinkie, ah do get why he'd need to do that with a pretty face like his. Might mess around and mistake him for a mare," She then slapped her hoof against her knee as she shook her head in glee. Pinkie now realized exactly what was on her breath. She wanted her gone more so than ever.
"Aj, maybe you need to go home and lay down-" Pinkie wasn't really concerned for her, or least that is what she told herself. She just wanted Applejack to leave the two of them alone and stop causing a scene. Ponies were looking at them from other tables and across the street. They were staring at her. At all of them.
This didn't look good.
"Don't ya fuckin' tell me what to do! Ah got apples to deliver and Ah be damned if ah don't get these...where...they.." She was. getting even more loud and belligerent, now shoving her hoof in Pinkie's face as she spat at her.
"He's a cop isn't he! Ah just know it! Ah knew you'd turn ya back on me and ruin mah family, Pinkie! Ya want to sent him to jail, huh? Ya wanna leave me to take care of the farm all by mah self?!? Huh?" Applejack was screaming at the top of her lungs through tears. Bystanders now stopped to observe the dramatic scene unfolding in front of them. This was embarrassing. Beyond embarrassing.
"Calm down please. I'm honestly not a cop...why would you think that?" Augustus was growing more curious and Pinkie could tell that he would soon start asking questions. Questions he shouldn't. She got up and placed a comforting hoof around the shoulders of this hysterical mare. She tried to calm her down to no avail as Applejack kept cursing and yelling at her. She had such vitriol in her voice as if it was Pinkie Pie that just stood there and watched her brother rape her friend. She spoke as if Pinkie betrayed her. As if she was in the wrong.
And now she was ruining how Augustus looked at her, and that hurt most off all.
"Stop this. Stop it right now," She coldly whispered in her friend's ear, but Aj ignored her. Deciding to continue on with her drunken rant.
Pinkie was just going to grab her stallion and leave, when Applejack was violently pulled away by her mane. Big Mac swung her on his back and took the barrel of apples in his mouth. He barely gave Pinkie Pie a glance before turning to walk away. Applejack was quiet now. The whole town square was quiet as everyone just watched them go, then they watched Pinkie.
And like that it was over, and they were gone. He was so close to her. She could feel his breath, smell his stench. If he wanted to he could've taken her right there and then. He could've had everyone know just how disgusting she was. They would laugh at her like they were laughing now. And whispering, and talking, and just staring.
And Augustus would vomit just by the sight of her.
The feeling was so quick and sudden that she didn't even realize her bladder failed her and a new puddle formed beneath her hindlegs. Augustus, noticing this, quickly jumped up and poured his glass all over her making it seem like she was wet from his mistake.
"Oh god, Pinkie. I'm so sorry...I'm just so clumsy," He then tried to clean her up with his magic. Ponies weren't looking anymore, instead carrying on with whatever mundane tasks they were doing before the freak show Applejack caused. He got close as he wiped a tear from her face.
Pinkie just wanted to die. She hated having him see her like this. having the whole town see her like this. The mare fully expected her date to run off and never speak to her ever again. She expected him to leave her in her own filth, but he didn't. He wasn't embarrassed nor disgusted by her. In fact he still had that kind nervous smile on his face. He softly whispered,
"We can still check out those apartments if you'd like,"

I had like two other ideas for this chapter but decided to stick with the more tame one.
I guess I wanted to leave the earlier chapters a bit more light.
Anyways Enjoy! And thanks for the comment directing me to the mlp wiki page (^.^).
↞Chapter 3: Very Big Liar↠
"Oh hi, Pinkie Pie. What are you doing here so late?" Fluttershy barely peeked her head through the crack of her front door. The light from the moon only radiated down atop her pink mane and made it hard for Pinkie to really see her face. It was a black shadow at this point, and if the earth pony wasn't so desperate right now she might've turned around and went home instead. But she needed a soft kind voice right now. She really needed it.
"Can I come in?" She said in a shaky tone, trying not to reveal that she's been crying.
"Yes of course," Her friend whispered before proceeding to hold her door open. Pinkie dragged her hooves inside fluttershy's cottage. It was messy as always, but that was expected with all the animals she allowed in her home. The pink mare took a seat beside a window. Fluttershy sat opposite to her. For a good five minutes neither pony said a word.
"I'm sorry if I woke you," It was nearly midnight. She hoped her friend wasn't too deep asleep before her arrival, but surprisingly when she got there Fluttershy had instantly opened the door. Had she been sitting down here all this time? Did she sleep down here? What happened to her bedroom?
"That's alright. I was barely snoozing," she then made a small giggle. Pinkie only smiled out of habit and courtesy. Finding nothing particularly funny about what Fluttershy said. There was another long wave of silence.
"I-i heard about..your criminal coatfriend," The timid mare finally said while twirling a strand of hair around her hoof. Pinkie looked at her a bit confused. Both at the fact that she somehow knew about Augustus and assumed he was a criminal.
"What?-"
"I mean that's what Rarity told me that Bonbon told her….she said she saw Aj going off on him earlier this evening." Gossip. How quickly it spreads in just a few measly hours. Bonbon didn't even get the story right.
Great. If Rarity knew about it then surely the rest of her friends knew too, and all of town, and soon all of Equestria. Now how was she going to counter the claims of her future husband being a criminal? Hopefully this game of broken telephone had more stories than one, and hopefully they didn't all revolve around him having a questionable career.
All Pinkie could do was sigh before replying.
"He isn't a criminal and Applejack was yelling at me, not him," Now go tell Rarity that. Not that Rarity would even bother to fix her story after she told a trillion ponies by this point.
The pegasus gasped. "oh my, but why would she yell at you?"
Because she was drunk and confused.
At least that is what Pinkie Pie was deciding to tell herself. It was better that than Applejack just strolling in there to potentially ruin her relationship with her coatfriend. But why would she do that? Must be pure jealousy. Obviously her crazy violent brother didn't allow her to date. Good. Let her suffer and be forever alone, never loved by any stallion, or anypony for that matter. It was a fate a witch like her deserved.
Fluttershy poured herself a glass of boiling hot tea. Pinkie hadn't noticed the pot sitting on the end table between the chairs before, to no surprise, since this place was far too cluttered to really notice anything being anywhere. Her house was also so dimly lit that Pinkie Pie honestly wondered how she was even able to see her tea cup.
"I...don't want to talk about it," but she actually did. It was the reason she snuck out this late at night to begin with. After her wild day out, Pinkie just wanted to sleep.
Sleep seemed to be her only safe haven, her perfect solitude. Nopony would hurt her in her dreams, and in her dreams life was how it should be. It was normal. It was wonderful, and she never wanted it to end. But of course you could never sleep forever, and she would be dragged back to the realities of her new life eventually. Sleep was easier before, but now it became difficult. She recently found herself flooded with a tidal wave of nightmares, and that was simply unfair. Why ruin the one thing she had?
They were flashbacks really. All of Macintosh violating her over and over again. It felt so real that she honestly believed he was right there in her room, laying on top of her, and taking his time just shattering what little soul she had left.
Why was she being tortured so? What did she possibly do to deserve this?
Pinkie couldn't help the waterworks. They just kept coming all day. She was starting to think that if she kept this up, she would have no tears left to cry. To think that a pony that was once the embodiment of laughter and happiness, would be sobbing all the time like a big fat cryfilly. Funny how these things work.
"What's wrong?" Fluttershy put her tea down and embraced her friend.
"I-i...think...I" Pinkie Pie was now making wet loud hiccups between each word. She couldn't even control them. It was like on cue every 5 seconds she would hic. The fit was getting so bad that the mare found it hard to make even a coherent sentence.
"Its okay, Pinkie. You can tell me," the pegasus then proceeded to rub her back in such a kind and loving matter that Pinkie Pie felt like a foal again, cradled against her mother's chest. She should just tell her everything. She should just let her emotions spill out now. Why hold it in? Why protect ponies that didn't care about her?
"He...h-hurt….me" Was all she could muster before more hics. It's all she felt comfortable saying.
How pathetic Pinkie. Just spit it out.
"Who hurt you?"
"I ….can't say…" Why wasn't she just saying it? She could say, and she should. She should expose him for his crimes, have the whole town know that that jerk was nothing but a dirty rapist. She should tell her. She should, but what would Applejack say? What would the rest of her friends think? How would Augustus feel about her?
Fluttershy seemed to catch on to her concerns. She hugged her tight and let her cry for a minute more before asking.
"How did he hurt you? Was it your coatfriend?" Pinkie shook her head instantly. Ponies were already starting to see him as a bad guy, she did not need to add on to that.
Almost as if the mare could read minds, she instantly knew. At least thought she knew. Pulling Pinkie back and looking her dead in the eyes, Fluttershy coldly uttered,
"It was Mr.Cake wasn't it? I knew it! I knew it the moment that bastard laid a hoof on my flank that he was nothing but a no good pervert." Her friend was growing more visibly upset. Pinkie had never seen her like this before. She was actually raising her voice, and not in that quiet semi-whisper way. But it was loud and booming and so sudden that it hurt Pinkie's ear drums. She also had a stern look on her face. Maybe it was anger, but it more resembled that scolding expression a parent would have. The pegasus took hold of Pinkie Pie's Forelegs.
"wha-"
"How far did he go? Did he make you do things to him? Did he touch you down there?" She was treating her like a foal, and maybe that was warranted with how dumb she could be at times, and stupidly clueless. Like when she spoke back to Big Mac.
Pinkie Pie gulped. These question were embarrassing and made her very uncomfortable. She should just say no now. Tell her that she got the wrong guy.
"Don't tell me he mounted you. If he did Pinkie you need to tell me now," Not knowing how to respond, but also oddly not wanting to upset Fluttershy, all she could do was nod through her shocked tears. Her friend was so sure of herself. She was really convinced he did this. Pinkie should've corrected her.
She really should have.
"I can't believe he would ever do such a thing! That is beyond just being a perv! Oh Celestia, Pinkie. We need to go now,"
"G-go where?" She asked through sniffles.
"To the hospital of course. Has he been touching on you all this time? Why didn't you tell any of us," Fluttershy pulled Pinkie up from her chair as she frantically rushed her towards the front door. She locked it behind her then practically forced Pinkie in the direction of town.
"Wait..why are we going to the hospital?" The earth pony hesitantly asked. Her foreleg was beginning to hurt from the amount of force Fluttershy was tugging on it.
The pegasus only briefly turned to face her friend. She tried to give her a reassuring smile. "To take tests of course.."
Tests? What kind of tests? Pinkie's mind was racing at all the possible things that could be wrong with her. She couldn't have the doctors know what happened. She couldn't have any pony knowing. Obviously telling Fluttershy wasn't such a good idea.
"..and to get the law involved. We'll make that rapist wish he never touched you,"
↞⧫↠
Mr. Cake never touched her.
He wasn't always kind all the time, and yeah sometimes he would over work her and not give her enough pay, but he never touched her. How do you tell somepony that after the scene Fluttershy caused? After all these doctors came in, followed by police officers, and then Twilight. How do you keep it together and just come clean when every pony felt sorry for her. They were upset because of what happened to her. They all cared. They cared, and that was what Pinkie Pie was thirsting for all this time. It felt good seeing all these ponies rushing back and forth, for her. It was like she mattered.
But Mr.Cake never touched her.
"Pinkie Pie, you need to tell us exactly what happened to you," Twilight sat next to her friend on the hospital bed. Two detectives stood near the door with notebooks in hoof, jotting every word down. She wondered where Fluttershy went, but maybe Twilight had her wait outside since she was so hyped.
Pinkie inhaled. The right thing to do would be to tell the truth here and now. Let ponies know that it wasn't this nice stallion that harmed her. She could just say she was joking and made everything up.
"Its okay we are all on your side," He friend extended a wing around her. She spoke so softly that Pinkie wanted to cry all over again. She really should just tell the truth.
"It...happened two weeks ago," This was her chance to get it all off her chest, but it was like her mouth was moving all on its own. Pinkie shouldn't lie. She really shouldn't. "I was in the kitchen cooking… Mrs.Cake was sleeping upstairs cause it was.." She should stop now. She needed to stop now. "..it was late and he was drunk and mean.." And he didn't do this. He would never do this. He was kind enough to give her a job and a home when she needed it most. He took her in. He helped her. "He told me….he told me he wanted to…" Pinkie paused thinking about how Applejack reacted today. To think that such a hardworking and honest mare would make a fool out of herself in front of everyone. To think she would even try to work while drunk. To think she would even get drunk in the first place. She thought about her friend's black eye. "I said no. He has a wife and foals and I didn't want to do stuff like that with him..I tried to get away.." and her swollen lip, and bruised body, and Macintosh beating her, and beating her, and beating her. "He forced me down anyways... and I tried to kick and scream..but he just shoved a dish rag in my mouth.." And beating Pinkie.
"Its okay. Take your time,"
Pinkie couldn't even react anymore. She grew cold, and for the second time that day she felt emotionless.
"..and he got on top and he raped me."
But Mr.Cake never touched her. He never looked at her funny and he never so much as cheated on his wife. Did any of that matter to Pinkie Pie? She would say yes, but her actions told otherwise.
"Did you guys get all that? Can you give us a moment please," Twilight spoke to the detectives. They nodded and had such pity in their eyes. Pinkie was shocked there wasn't so much as a hint of disgust. At least not towards her. The two mares waited quietly for the officers to leave before Twilight gave Pinkie another tight hug.
"You're very brave, you know that? It takes a lot to speak up about something like this, and I'm glad you did." She got up from the bed and walked towards the open window, looking outside and down at the citizens of Ponyville. "I would have never imagined something so gruesome happening here, in our small little town, and to you, Pinkie."
It was nice to hear Twilight say it. It stood as confirmation to all of Pinkie's pervious fears. She felt almost justified not saying anything for the past two weeks. Ponies were judgmental, but at least she would be on the right side of their judgment. This time.
There was a strange sound coming from the window. Pinkie was tempted to ask Twilight what was happening down there. Maybe the news also came to hear what happened, or there was an angry mob surrounding the hospital, because somehow they knew Pinkie Pie was a liar. She slowly got up to check for herself only to realize it was her friend crying.
"I-i wish I could've been as strong as you Pinkie. I let it go on for years without saying anything, and look at him now," Pinkie just stood there and let her cry, not knowing how she should respond. There was faint comfort in realizing that she might not be the only one. She was curious to know more, like how did her powerful friend handle such a situation, but she found it rude to pry.
"He's married with a family and happy, and look at me," Twilight flung her head in her hooves, weeping like a newly widow. Her long velvet hair draped over her face. Her wings quivered with each sob, and her horn shook atop her mane.
"You're happy too, right Twi? I mean you're a princess now, and you have all your friends and-" Pinkie wanted her to feel better. She needed to make her feel better since it's just what Pinkie does. She plays the clown for others amusement. For others well being.
"I tried killing myself several times before coming to Ponyville. It was the main reason Celestia assumed I needed friends," Twilight chuckled. Pinkie could see the slight shame in her dreary eyes. "I feel like they knew. All of them. My parents, my teachers, the princess…"
Using her magic, a handkerchief appeared before them. Twilight took it to blow her nose.
"..Cadence".
By this new revelation, Pinkie felt more compelled. Did she really want to be responsible for causing an innocent pony's pain. What about his family? Would they cry like Twilight is now? Maybe now is the time to officially come clean with the truth. She just really hoped her friend wouldn't be mad, she hoped Mr.Cake would forgive her, and maybe they could all move on with their lives.
"Twilight I-"
Pinkie was interrupted by a knock on the door. The knob turned and opened to reveal one of the doctors Pinkie was forced to talk to earlier. This particular one made her pee in a cup right in front of him. He was a tall blue stallion with a white lab coat and a clipboard in his muzzle, and he unintentionally made her feel extremely uncomfortable.
Noticing the princess with her back turned he waited a minutes before clearing his throat and finally saying something. "I do apologize if I'm interrupting anything," He looked a little worried. Could this be bad news? Twilight tried to fix herself up before facing the doctor. Making her stature more tall and authoritative, she slightly raised her voice.
"Not at all. Did you get the test results back?" The princess approached him to see exactly what he had written down. He frowned.
"Well it seems Ms.Pie is, with one hundred percent certainty..." He paused leaving them waiting in anticipation. This definitely couldn't be good. Was she dying? Maybe she caught some far off and life threatening disease. Pinkie didn't want to die. Not painfully, and in a hospital bed anyway.
The two mares held their breath, waiting for him to just spit it out.
"..pregnant."
The news was harsh, but hardly shocking. It was like life was testing to see how far it could go before it finally broke her.
↞⧫↠
"Knock, knock! Guess who?" Rainbow Dash poked her head behind the hospital curtain. She had balloons in hoof and a cocky grin on her face. Typical for her speedy friend. The balloons were nice. Bright and pink and some shaped in silly nonsensical forms. She tied them to her bed frame.
"Hello, Sweetheart. Why do they still have you in this awfully dingy room?" Rarity walked in after with Fluttershy by her side. She used her magic to inspect the particles of dust on one if the night tables. Typical for her snooty friend. Rarity had a warped box with her which she placed on Pinkie's lap. It was a cute little gift. Decked out with a huge white bow and fancy paper. By the size and weight of it, though, it didn't seem like anything of value. Probably a cupcake or some dessert since her friends, Rarity especially, assumed all Pinkie Pie's interests were consumed with useless gadgets and food. She usually wouldn't be so offended by that thought, but now she kinda was. Not that she would ever even think of expressing that.
Just smile and show gratitude.
"Right, Pinkie why are you still in the hospital? Were you hurt or somethin'," Rainbow dash hovered in place, allowing her beautiful wings to flex out with each slow flap. Showing off as always. Sometimes Pinkie Pie wished she could fly. It was probably close to impossible to ever harm a pony as fast as Rainbow Dash. What a lucky mare she was.
"Of course she's hurt! How could you even ask that," Fluttershy interjected. This whole situation was taking a toll on her. It was nice having a friend that cared so deeply like she did, but Pinkie wondered if she was trying to make up for something. She was in no place to accuse anypony of anything, especially when she had no evidence, but there was something off about Fluttershy recently. She couldn't help but think back on a few days ago when she caught the mare looking a little too closely at Pumpkin. There was a strange expression on her face, but the more Pinkie thought about it the more convicted she felt. How could she even think such thoughts about her friend? Her stupid brain was starting to get all paranoid and coming up with fictitious situations.
"It's fine darling, some ponies just don't understand the effects sexual assault can have on a pony. You can't blame them for being insensitive and ignorant." Rarity took a seat and dusted her coat off. She magically poofed a mirror and brush before her and began fixing her hair. "We all must remember that Rainbow Dash is perfect and damn near bulletproof, you know. Nothing hurts her , therefore she can't comprehend other ponies pain-"
The blue pegasus rolled her eyes and scoffed.
"Anyways...I tried to get Aj to come, but Mac said she wasn't feeling so hot. He wouldn't let me see her, so I think that was just an excuses. She must still be mad at you for dating that cop," An excuse was right. It was most likely an excuse for him. Poor Applejack. No . She shouldn't feel bad for her. Aj deserved it and brought the pain unto herself.
"Cop? I thought he was a thug?" Rarity nearly dropped her brush when she said it. Here they go again with there gossiping lies. Was it really worth it to correct any of them?
"Nah, I was literally there when she went off yesterday. She definitely asked if he was a cop," Rainbow said snarkingly as if it was some sort of achievement. Were they not all suffering from secondhand embarrassment? Pinkie knew for damn sure she wouldn't be going around bragging about some ponies mental break down. Especially if that pony was a friend.
Pinkie Pie didn't even want to entertain this right now.
"Maybe he's an undercover cop," Fluttershy muttered. She needed to get in on the lies too.
"Either way I wonder how he'll respond to the whole rape thing. Everypony knows smaller stallions are more aggressive and self conscience. Isn't that right Rainbow,"
There was this deafening awkward silence followed by this thick tension. The room was so quiet you could literally hear a pin drop. Rainbow Dash landed while giving Rarity a cold, dead stare. She looked just about ready to rip her head off.
"I wouldn't know since I never dated a dude shorter than me," The response was short and sweet. They should end it there.
"Didn't know you 'dated' dudes at all-" of course they wouldn't, and Rarity just had to let this whole thing erupt. Rainbow Dash got into a defensive pose.
"What's your deal, Rarity? What are you trying to fucking accuse me of?" The pegasus yelled.
"Woah language," Dash was using every muscle in her body to stop herself from attacking Rarity just there and then. Everyone could literally feel the anger radiating off of her.
"Hey guys maybe we shouldn't fight in front of Pinkie-" Fluttershy tried to get in between the two.
"Is there something you wanna say? huh?"
If they kept this up security would be called. How shameful that would be. Pinkie hung her head not trying to see what would inevitably unfold before her.
"All I'm saying is that if you're going to do something in private, own up to it. Sooner or later you're going to be exposed, darling." Rarity spitefully giggled. What the hell was going on?
"I don't have to fucking take this. I'm sorry Pinkie but I need to go. I'll catch you and Shy later," She then took flight and left.
"Yes that's right. Run from your problems. Typical Rainbow Dash running way when situations get tough,"
The door shut. More silence followed.
"W-what was that about?" Fluttershy asked. Pinkie was curious as well. What in the world was happening all around her.
"Rainbow just doesn't want to confront reality and that's her prerogative, but Pinkie Pie you need to listen to me and listen to me good," Rarity got so very serious.
"I know you have always been the most innocent of us all but that ends today. No more lollygagging like a foal, you now need to pull up your big filly pants and grow up," Wow. That was mean. Pinkie really shouldn't let other ponies speak to her like that, but she guessed there was a bit of truth in her statement. Her friend got up and looked her in the eyes.
"You're pregnant now and that comes with a whole new load of problems. If your coatfriend is a criminal that too will come with more issues, trust me I know first hoof." Pinkie was shocked she said that. Augustus wasn't a criminal. Well not to Pinkie's knowledge at least. But did Rarity just admit that?
"And then you'll have the trial and not to mention your usual responsibilities to your nation. Of course you'll have us there with you, but Pinkie Pie this is mainly on you."
"I-i...know" Pinkie never really sat down and thought about that. She didn't have to before today. How would she deal with all of this. There was so much now added on her plate. Will there ever be room for fun?
Fluttershy hugged her again. "It's alright. Like Rarity said, we are here for you and won't let anything happen to you." Right. She had her friends and that was all that mattered. With friends everything was possible. She just needed to trust in them.
" ...but you mentioned a trial.." Pinkie asked timidly.
"Yes of course, Darling. You're gonna have to appear in front of a jury of your peers and tell them exactly what Mr.Cake did to you. There already were a few news crews downstairs when we got here, so I imagine this to be the story of the century," That meant ponies already knew. Everyone knew. How would she ever face the world now? Rarity must be crazy if she thought Pinkie would ever show up in a crowded room and lie to them all. Mr.Cake was innocent. She just needed to let someone know before things got more out of hand.
"W-when do I have to?"
"I haven't a clue, but I imagine soon. They are probably arresting Cake as we speak, if they haven't already," Pinkie gulped. Rarity continued.
"I can't even think about how his wife must feel about this whole thing, let alone his foals. Poor things will have to grow up knowing there father raped one of the elements of harmony." Her tone was so calm as if she wasn't just discussing something so unsettling. Pinkie Pie hadn't even considered the other ponies involved in her lie. She really was about to ruin lives. How could she do that. It was already getting bad and it hadn't even been a few hours since she spoke to Twilight.
"Oh well. He should've thought about that before sticking his dick in you,"
Author's Note
This is kinda sorta two chapters in one ヘ( ̄ω ̄ヘ).
I wrote the first part and when starting the second part I felt like it fit better together.
Enjoy!
↞Chapter 4: Speak No Evil↠
The evening breeze served as a consoling blanket on Pinkie's fur. She inhaled, taking in as much air her lungs would allow. It felt good to finally leave that stuffy hospital room, even if it was just for a minute or two.
Twilight requested she stay put until they got her living situation settled, which the pink mare couldn't quite understand. She told her friend several times that she already planned on moving in with her coatfriend, but Twilight just wouldn't allow it. On one hand you have Rarity nagging in her ear about "growing up" and "taking responsibility", then on the other you have Twilight treating her like she was five. This was beyond frustrating.
If she could just get a hold of Augustus maybe she could convince him to run away with her. He probably knew about what happened to her already, and thankfully she didn't have to say it herself. How would she ever manage looking him in the eyes and telling him that another stallion had ‘conquered ’ her before he even got a chance to officially be alone with her. Regardless, gone were the emotions of regret and fear. At least towards her rape.
She would never forgive herself for lying on Mr.Cake .
The media was working overtime. The day wasn't even over and already she found a paper with the headline;
Local Baker, Carrot Cake, Arrested for Savage Rape
Where was the evidence? The trial? They had no proof that he's done these things. None except Pinkie's word. How fair is that? What happened to innocent until proven guilty? Of course Pinkie Pie could always set this right by simply telling the truth.
"Hey..hey, Pinkie. C'mere," There was a raspy whisper coming from a nearby bush. The smart thing to do would be to turn around now and ignore it, or maybe even scream for help. Nothing good could come from a stranger in a bush. They were hiding for a reason.
Pinkie Pie was going to make a run for it, when the voice called out to her again.
"Wait. It's me," Rainbow Dash exposed herself to her petrified friend. Pinkie sighed in relief.
"Dashie? What are you doing in there?"
"I wanted to talk to you...i-it's really important." Her voice was shaky and nervous.
"About what?"
"I can't tell you here...somepony might hear us," Rainbow Dash stumbled over her words. Her eyes were bloodshot and her coat was drenched in sweat. She also looked smaller than Pinkie remembered.
Was she always able to see her ribcage?
She sniffed. "W-we gotta go somewhere private. Come I know a spot near by,"
"Why do we need to say it in private, Dashie?" Pinkie was getting spooked by her behavior. She was acting very strange.
Rainbow sniffed again, wiping her forehoof against her dry nostrils. "cause it might get me in trouble..just come.. I don't have a lot of time," She disappeared back into the bushes. Despite Pinkie's mind screaming at her that this was a very bad idea, and there was obviously something's wrong with her friend, she followed behind her.
Whatever Rainbow Dash was going through it couldn't be any worse than the situation Pinkie Pie was in, so she needed to be there for her friend. It was the least she could do.
"Dashie wait up! I can barely see through all these leaves" The pink mare was stumbling all over the place. One misstep and she could go tumbling on her face. Unsurprisingly, Rainbow Dash was miles ahead of her, leaving her barely able to keep up. Pinkie Pie was inches away from giving up.
Where were they going?
When suddenly Rainbow dash stopped. They were pretty close to the Evergreen Forest, if they weren't already in it.
"Rainbow, what did you want to tell me—"
The pegasus turned and quickly got up close to Pinkie Pie's face. She was so close their muzzles were millimeters away from embracing. From here she could really smell her friend's hot breath, see into her swollen red eyes, and notice just how thin she was.
"Okay? Okay. So here's the thing, listen close alright. So I need you to—to do me a big. big, big favor. Okay? Okay." That had to be the fastest Rainbow had ever spoken. Her mannerisms were all over the place. Her head jerking this way and that way, her hooves tapping on the tufted grass as if her leg was having a seizure, her sudden lack of eye contact. It was all too much.
"What kinda favor?"
"A life saving favor Pinkie, cause...cause right now my fucking life is on the line—ha! Oh god, I'm gonna die. I'm gonna die if you don't do this for me," Sweat was just pouring off of her. Pinkie Pie gulped. This had to be a very serious problem if it involved someone dying.
She couldn't let that happen.
"Okay. What do I have to do?" With a soft smile, she placed a reassuring hoof on her shaking shoulder.
"I… I need money. Like uh... 53,000bts to be exact."
Pinkie held in a dramatic gasp. She was the furthest thing from "rich", so out of all five friends, the pink mare was the worst one to ask for cash. Not that she would turn Rainbow Dash down. It wasn't like they couldn't come up with the money, she just needed a kitchen, cake batter, and a few weeks.
"Okay Dashie, I can see about starting a bake sale! Yeah, ponies love treats and they especially love them from-"
"No. It'll take too long. I need it soon. Like very, very soon."
"Did you ask Twilight? I'm sure she could loan you some bits until you're able to pay it back," Rainbow Dash looked annoyed. Her nervous twitching and tapping stopped, only for a minute.
She shook her head in disagreement before she said, "No. She can't know about this, okay? It has to be between you and me since you're the only pony I trust."
Pinkie pie felt both flattered and even more worried. What in Celestia's name did she get herself into? Whatever it was, it was definitely illegal.
"Don't… Don't your parents like have a lot of cash stored away somewhere on their farm? I mean I remember you telling me they managed to mine a few rare diamonds like a couple months ago,"
Pinkie hadn't thought of her parents, or even any of her family, in a while. And did she tell Rainbow Dash this? She didn't even know about these diamonds until now. Unless she forgot.
Did she forget?
I mean were would she even get this information from since Pinkie hadn't been in contact with any of her family, besides Maud. Did Maud tell her? She would remember if she did, right? But why would Pinkie tell Rainbow Dash and not the others? Unless they all knew. Maybe they did.
"I can try to call and ask them-"
"ask them that you want to visit them, right? I mean you did say you missed your father,"
"I did? I-i don't think I would've said that-"
"yeah, you definitely did. So call and tell them that your gonna be seeing them in a day or two,"
Pinkie Pie didn't have the closest relationship with her father, in fact he kicked her out and specifically told her he didn't want to see her again until she got her act together. Did she get her act together? She could barely remember what exactly she did wrong. Maybe it was the jokes. He was always a stone cold and serious stallion. Did she even miss him?
Maybe she did tell Rainbow Dash all this. Maybe she's just very forgetful.
With a simple nod, Pinkie agreed. Her friend's face lit up like the fourth of July when she realized the mare was going to go along with it.
"Thank you so, so, so much! You're a lifesaver!" She was then embraced in a tight hug and flung into the air, twirling with the happy pegasus. This was good news. Rainbow Dash was happy, so she was happy.

Pinkie Pie sat patiently in silence. Fluttershy refused to let her use the phone on her own, and demanded that she wait until she returned to make the call. The usually shy and docile mare seemed to instantly take on a maternal role the moment she found out Pinkie Pie was raped. She would get her food for her, thoroughly check every gift, card, and balloon that was sent to her, and even went as far as denying a few nurses access to the room until they proved they had a right to be there.
No one questioned her. Pinkie Pie definitely didn't question her. The look Fluttershy would give if she felt even a tiny bit challenged would cause anyone to instantly follow her every order. The hospital staff quickly got used to her landry list of "polite" requests. In a matter of a day, Pinkie's nurses were rushing in and out to make sure her every comfort was met. It also didn't help that since both Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie were a member of the mane six, the staff felt compelled to help. Their status was just a notch above the average citizen afterall.
Pinkie Pie now knew how Angel felt, smothered. Smothered and unable to make her own decision despite, technically, being an adult. And to think back to that harsh look of disappointment along with the scolding the pegasus gave the pink mare the moment she spotted Pinkie sneak back out of the woods. She kept repeating the same thing over and over,
"Pinkie, do you want some pony to attack you again? What do you think will happen if you go off on your own, huh?"
And funnily enough, despite being a "grown up" who should have the right to do as she pleased, Pinkie Pie hung her head and wanted to break down and cry all over again for both disappointing her friend and for being so naive to think that no pony would attack her. She was naive to think she was ever safe in Ponyville, or anywhere really.
She was so very naive, and so this treatment was warranted. It was needed to keep her safe, because Celestia knows, she couldn't do it herself.
"P-Pinkie..?"
His voice came from the door. The mare quickly turned in bed to face him. Of course he was here. Of course he would come to see her. Floating just inches from his head was a bouquet of roses, chocolates, a cute teddy bear, and a newspaper. It was almost perfect, almost romantic, but now she just wanted him to go.
"I...I saw the papers and—" He approached her bedside, nervous as ever. He looked sad, unbelievably woeful, as the mare could see how heavy his eyes were. They were deep pools of distress that were just waiting to pour over. She caused that. She caused his pain. How could she ever live with herself.
"If I would've known...why didn't you tell me?" His voice cracked as all her gifts fell to the floor. He kept his eyes locked on her, he kept looking her in her face as if softly demanding answers. What could she say to make this better? What could she say to him? She had no jokes to tell and no longer had the strength to smile, so she said nothing. He said nothing.
They sat in silence.
He then started to weep, very loudly.
He fell on his face and cried right next to her with those heavy painful tears. Pinkie wanted to cry too, but felt she had no right to release her emotions since she caused this. She caused this. It was all her stupid fault for being so dumb and gulible. She deserved what happened to her simply because she was a selfish, selfish filly who never knew when to quit. She should've kept her mouth shut. She should've smiled and left Applejack to handle her family's problems herself.
She shouldn't have stopped Big Mac from beating her.
"Pinkie I'm so, so sorry I couldn't protect you," Why was he apologizing? Why wasn't he yelling at her for keeping this a secret for so long? For already bring in drama after the second day of meeting her.
Two weeks. She went two weeks without telling a soul. She let that rot fester inside of her, she let the nightmares persist and she let Augustus think he was with someone pure and untainted. How could he not turn her away right now. She reeked of Macintosh. She could smell him all over her, inside of her, and she just knew Augustus could smell it too. She no longer wished to move in with him. She didn't want him to be involved with all of this .
"Excuse me! Who let you in?" Fluttershy instantly came stomping towards Augustus, pulling him up to his hooves and towards the door with such shocking ease. "Wait! I'm here for Pinkie—" He barely had an opportunity to dry his eyes before being forced out. He resisted Fluttershy's attempted boot. Digging his hooves in the ground and anchoring himself in the white tile floor.
"Pinkie isn't seeing any visitors at the moment," Fluttershy struggled against his weight, now using her wings as an extra push. Regardless, Augustus was now far stronger than he appeared, managing to not only stay stiff in place despite the force Fluttershy was exerting against him, but also keeping a calm steady voice through it all.
"Pinkie Pie, please just let me talk to you for a minute. We need to work this out and—"
"For goodness sakes, go!" Fluttershy yelled through her exhausted breath. It was taking her every being to just get this guy to move a few millimeters. He was very persistent.
Persistent for Pinkie.
She couldn't believe that, she wouldn't believe any pony would want to be with her after finding out what has been done to her. How could he want her when she is the source of his pain? She should say something, tell Fluttershy to just let him go, tell Augustus that she was sorry. They should have a talk. A real talk. A long talk, and just figure this all out.
"Security!" Fluttershy stopped struggling against him and hit the button near Pinkie's bed to alert a nurse. In a matter of seconds, two male nurses entered the room.
"He's bothering her," the pegasus didn't have to say anymore, the nurses were already dragging him out.
"Pinkie, wait lemme just talk to her….Pinkie!" and like that he was gone with their shut behind him. His shaky voice and struggle could still be heard throughout the halls. Pinkie Pie could've said something. She could've protected him, told the nurses he wasn't bothering her, and she did in fact want him there.
But Pinkie Pie knew this was for the best. She didn't deserve his kindness. He should just forget about her and find a better mare. A mare that wasn't as gross and all used up as she was.
Fluttershy sighed while wiping a bead of sweat from her forehead. She looked at Pinkie with an assuring smile as she gently ran a soft hoof through her hair. "Pinkie, I think it's best you stop seeing that stallion. They're all the same and only looking for one thing. You're the safest just relying on yourself and us, okay?" The mare obedientmy nodded. She wanted this. She needed to only trust her friends. Only her friends cared about her, only they understood her and would protect her.
Her friends would protect her, right?
Her mind immediately shot back to that day. She was on the living room floor all over again, screaming her lungs out, trying her best to get away. It was exactly a scene from scene only this time she saw Applejack just standing there. She saw her friend's cold eyes, her cold face as she watched. She just silently watched. She did nothing. She said nothing. She just watched.
At that moment the pink mare felt more confused than anything. She didn't know what to think anymore. She didn't know what she wanted. She didn't know who to trust, or if she should even trust herself. So she kept nodding.
She'll let Fluttershy decide what's best for her.
"I guess we should call your parents now, huh," The pegasus got up and towards the hospital phone. She picked it up and rested it against her ear before proceeding to dial a number. A number Pinkie Pie herself couldn't even remember since it had been such a long time since she even thought about calling her parents. Fluttershy had to go off and ask Spike to retrieve it for her.
The dial tone was very loud. Pinkie could hear it all the way from her bed. Oddly she found herself holding her breath. Surely her parents wouldn't know about this, regardless of her being somewhat of a public figure, the news wouldn't travel that fast. She had no idea how they would respond. She didn't even know if she could keep up both her lies and whatever it was Rainbow wanted her to ask them. This was all too much. She wanted desperately to just sleep.
The phone picked up and Fluttershy instantly turn on the speaker phone. "Hello?" It was a deep raspy voice. Great. Pinkie was hoping her mother would've picked up instead. She wouldn't talk to him. She refused to tell him.
Her buttercup friend looked in her direction as if waiting for her to respond to the voice. She didn't. Instead she hung her head low and shook it to signal she didn't want to do this anymore, and they should hang up. Her friend smiled before taking a deep breath and responding for her.
"Hey, Mr. Pie. This is one of Pinkamena's friends just calling to tell you that she's interested in coming over to visit," Fluttershy paused. Her nervousness seeming to quickly catch up to her. "I-if that's alright with you, of course, sir."
There was a deafening silence over the phone, as the two mares awaited his reply. It had been a good two minutes, and Fluttershy was beginning to wonder if he walked away from the phone, when the sound of him clearing his throat finally broke the quiet.
"Is she there with you?" He simply asked. He had that hard, stick-in-the-mud tone Pinkie was used to. She shook her head, pleading that Fluttershy wouldn't give her away, but her friend only seemed annoyed by her antics. She got up and gave the phone to Pinkie Pie, whispering, "you can't just run from this. Face your Father..please,"
Fluttershy seemed to know what was best, so she complied. Taking the phone in her hoof, the mare gulped before giving a very faint greeting.
"H-hi Papa, I just wanted to..check up on you and Ma and—"
"Pinkamena, don't lie to me." He harshly cut her off before she could say more. He went silent again before continuing. "Stopped by the hardware shop this morning and you were on the news,"
"Y-yeah Papa? I mean, I'm always on the news," She felt her eyes getting hot as she tried so very hard not to cry.
"Not for this."
Those three words felt like daggers stabbed right through her heart. She didn't want to talk to him anymore. She didn't want to see her parents ever again. She wished she never opened her mouth. She just wanted things to return to the way they use to be.
Pinkie wanted her old life back. She wanted her innocence back. She wanted to just go on adventures with her friends. She wanted to save the world, and just bake, and make ponies laugh. She wanted things to be normal. She wanted, she needed to tell someone that Mr.Cake didn't touch her. She needed to fix this. She needed to tell the truth.
She needed to shut up and stop sticking her nose in places it didn't belong.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry, Papa. I didn't mean for this to happen," Pinkie Pie broke down begging her father for forgiveness. She didn't know why she suddenly felt so guilty. Fluttershy came over to give her a big tight hug and help her calm down. Her father let her cry. He listened to her loud sobs, and her friend consulting her on the other line. He understood, and though he would never say it, he really understood.
For the first time in a very long time he spoke briefly in a soft kind voice. "You're welcome to come home, Pinkamena." He then simply hung up. No goodbye, no trying to make her feel better, he just ended the conversation there.
