Author's Note

Hair Do's

My POV:

I was humming a sweet tune as I was heading to Cloudsdale, it was a decent spring day as it wasn't too humid but it was just right as the wind was cooling down my mane and even my wings. My mane, however, was washed and ready because Zeyphr asked if I could show the different spring hair do's. I accepted it as he was my boyfriend, even too he said he'll take me to dinner, I told him however I wanted nothing expensive or something luxurious because one, I'm not that mare for fancy stuff and two, I despised being fancy.

Anyway, I saw Zeyphr waiting for me as he was sitting on a chair. I think too he was drinking some drink... perhaps soda? I smiled as I flew down towards him, he must've heard me as I landed and he said...

"Laur girl!"

He said as he went up to me as he pecked my cheek, I blushed slightly as he said...

"Come in, come in. I have to experiment you with my do's I told ya about."

"Well, didn't you tell me that?"

I asked with a smile, as we got inside the house. It was cleaned... well somewhat. There were books on the table, some cans on the coffee table which had the labelled "Hoof Energy". I heard about that drink, it was an energy drink so that you could stay up for hours... well until morning otherwise. I think he must've drunk a lot then, anyway we got to the bathroom as it was big... and I mean big. The walls were coloured with the most beautiful pearl-like colour as the flour had wooden oak tiles and even the toilet, the sink, and even the bathroom cabinet had a nice silvery colour too.

I saw a chair too has it had a blue mat underneath it. The chair had a white oak colour as it too had a cushion which was a nice yellow colour attached to it. I sat on the chair as he looked through the salon book that his boss gave him, it was to study the different hairstyles. Trust me, Zeyphr said it wasn't easy but it takes you like five weeks to memorize. He started with a bun, that had flower coloured bow at the back, it was beautiful and I'm sure this is an easy one to do? Right? Well, eh...

The hairdo had braids on the head and even on the bun itself. It looked like it would be great for a princess would wear as her hairdo... like Celestia, Luna, or even Princess Cadence herself. Anyway, he combed my hair with a comb as it had the colour of pink and even white glitter. Zephyr smiled as he was doing my mane, he even too thought it was silky. He began to braid my hair as he slowly did it one, by one. I was a bit nervous, but everypony knew they could trust him, so I trust him too. An hour went by as he was putting the bow in.

The bow had a beautiful purple colour with a red flower in the middle. He settled it gently till he said...

"And done!"

I sighed in relief as he gave me the mirror, I used my pegasus wing to hold it. I gasped a bit as I looked... beautiful. My smile grew as for some reason tears developed my eyes. Even as a Christian pony I am, I don't cry a lot but I looked amazing in this bun. I kissed his lips as a huge flushed of red appeared on his face, he kissed back as he held me with his wing. We stopped as he asked...

"So? Do you love it?"

"Love it... no. I endearment!"

I saw his eyes grew into confusion, so I said...

"It's another word for love Zeyph."

"Oh.. I didn't know that. But anyways, we need to continue the hair do's."

"Well okay. If you say so."

Later on, it was evening time as Zephyr Breeze was done his hairstyling study, and it was nine o'clock and the ponies were either sleeping, eating dinner or watching a movie in Cloudsdale. I was tired as I yawned, Zephyr saw as I lied down on the sofa. He grabbed my body slowly with his wing as he dragged me to his bed. I felt a bit weirded out but I guess I knew I had to stay a night here. He gently put me on a cloud bed and put a blanket which was a plain brown one around me. I thanked him as I shut my eyes as I felt him kiss my cheek.

I giggled as my eyes were still closed, I heard him walk out of the room as he turned off the lamp and closed the door. The next morning came as the sun was shining on Cloudsdale and the birds on the trees were singing a sweet tune. I mumbled as I opened my eyes, I turned my head to see the clock beside me and it was 8:21. I smiled as I thanked God for another day and yawned as I saw the door slammed open. It appeared to be Zephyr, carrying a breakfast tray as it had salad, orange juice and even some hay browns. He sang as he went to me...

"I got you, my miss, the best breakfast!"

He placed it beside me as he kissed my lips, blush appeared on my face as I kissed back. I said after we let go of the kiss...

"Thank you, Zeph."

I began to eat and drink as Zephyr was getting ready for work. He combed his hair as he looked into a purple mirror that was attached to some dresser. I enjoyed the breakfast as I got up from bed until I felt Zephyr touching my mane as he began to style it into a simple ponytail. A minute later, he kissed my cheek as I blushed once more and said...

"I should get going soon. You got work to do Zeph."

"Yeah, I know."

Later on, the two went there separate ways. Then so, Zephyr and I had a pretty good night last night and even so I went to that dinner with him! Ha!
