"Good morning students!" sadly said the principal who was giving speech to her students. "I have a sad news today. Unfotunately, our school will have to close. We don't have enough money to keep it going and it was bought by a private company."

"What?! Oh no!" students were shocked.

"But don't worry, we will give you a list of other high schools you can transport to! Please everyone proceed to my office, I will call you one by one to fill the papers."

There was a whole school in front of principal's office. Among them was Applejack. She was still shocked at the news and thought about where should she go now.

"Applejack Apple please enter my office!" said the principal.

Applejack got up and entered.

"There are bunch of students waiting and we need to do this fast because we only have until tomorrow to transport all students and give them the school."

"Alright."

Applejack looked at the list and didn't know where to go. She saw a name Canterlot High. She remembered her distant cousin Pinkie Pie goes there and it's not that far away from home.

"I'll go to Canterlot High."

"Really? Are you sure? No one else will probably go there. There are much more popular schools."

"I know but I would like to go there."

"As you wish."

All of this continued all through the day.

The next day

Applejack got up early. She didn't want to miss out on her first day at new school. She was feeling very nervous.

She got there early too! She went to the principal Celestia's office.

"Good morning!" she entered.

"Oh, good morning! You must be Applejack, right?"

"Yeah, Applejack Apple."

"I am principal Celestia! We are very happy to welcome you here." Celestia introduced herself. "Class will soon start, here is your schedule."

"Thank you."

"I am very busy at the moment but let me introduce you, this is Twilight Sparkle, she will answer all your questions if you have any and show you around school."

"Hello!" Twilight greeted her.

"Hi!"

"I am sorry, please excuse me now, I have to go." Celestia said. "And remember my doors are always open if you need me!"

Applejack and Twilight were walking around school.

"You are gonna love it here!" Twilight said. "In this school you'll gain a lot of knowledge that will be helpful later. And you will definetly have fun studying all of these."

"Uh, right... I hope so."

"You don't like studying?"

"Not really."

"Ah, that's okay. I guess not everyone wants to be a scientist and spends whole days learning, experimenting and reading."

"Wow! As long as you have fun! What kind of science are you interested in the most?"

"Oh, that's easy! Definetly chemistry! I simply love it!"

"That's cool!"

"What do you like to do in your free time?"

"I usually spend time on my family's apple farm. Otherwise I love to hang out with people."

"You must have plenty of friends."

"Heh, not really, people in my last school were only interested in popularity."

"Ah, I know how you feel. Most people here are too." Twilight sighed. "Only actual real friends I have are my dog Spike and my family."

"Well, look on the bright side. We both gained a new friend today."

"Yeah!" Twilight smiled happily.

Twilight continued showing her around.

"THEY ARE COMING!" someone yelled.

"Who is coming?" Applejack was confused.

"Oh no!" Twilight pulled her aside. "The jocks! Just turn around and don't look them in the eyes. Try not to ever get on their bad side."

"Uh..."

A group of people dressed all in the same jacket passed by. They looked cool but everyone feared them. In the bunch there was a rainbow haired girl. The just passed by and left in their direction.

"Woah!" Applejack said. "Who was that rainbow haired girl?"

"Uh, you mean Rainbow Dash? She is the team captain!"

"She is gorgeous!"

"She does seem to make many boys and girls fall for her although she is only interested in girls. But I think you should stay away from all of them, I heard rumors about them being bad news and changing who they date often and based on popularity. You'll only get your heart broken."

"Only rumors?"

"Well, no one knows for sure but better safe then sorry."

Then continued walking. A pink haired girl passed near them.

"Hey Twilight! Hi Applejack!" Pinkie said while being in a hurry. They both greeted her.

"You already know Pinkie Pie?"

"She is my cousin."

"Oh! Wow that's really cool! She literally knows EVERYONE!"

They were soon finished with touring the school.

"Soon we will go to my favourite place!"

"Cafeteria?"

"No! Library!"

"Oh..."

"You'll like it there's plenty of books for everyone!"

They reached the library.

"And here is the library!" Twilight said happily but soon she started staring at a girl surfing the net. She had a red blondr hair.

"Uh, Twilight?"

"Yes? What? Yes? Were you saying something, I kindaa got distraced." Twilight blushed.

"I think science chemistry is not the only chemistry you do." Applejack joked.

"Oh no, I... we... uf..."

"You have a crush on her?"

"Is it that obvious?"

"Yes. But that's so sweet. Did you tell her?"

"What? Of course not! That's Sunset Shimmer the smartest and most caring girl EVER! She also truly has a smile of an angel!"

"Aw, that's adorable! I hope she likes you back!"

"MOVE! We need to pass by!" Trixie said.

"Excuse me?" Applejack turned around.

"Ugh, is that the new girl? She literally has no fashion taste!" Trixie noticed.

"And you met the cheerleaders" Twilight sighed.

"Oh come on, Trixie. It's nothing that can't be fixed." Rarity said. "Besides that farm girl look looks good on her!"

"Thanks."

"Ugh!" Trixie complained.

"You're welcome, darling. Welcome to Canterlot High. I am Rarity, soon to be cheerleader captain." Rarity said as Applejack and her shaked hands.

"Ugh! If you really think you'll buy popularity and spot as captain by being nice then you are wrong!" Trixie said.

"I am just being myself. Besides, I don't think captain should be rude like you are!"

"I am not rude, just teaching everyone their place!"

"So that's how you call being rude in your language?"

"Let's go." Twilight told Applejack. "We don't wanna stay in this fight. They are competing to be a captain so it's always like this."

"Okay, let's go."

Later they were heading to eat lunch.

"Angel no!" Fluttershy yelled. "Everyone look out! Bunny on the lose!"

"Bunny what?" Applejack turned as Angel jumped on her. "Ah!"

"Don't worry he only bites if you're scared."

"What?!"

"Let me help take him off!" Twilight tried to help.

"What's going on here?" Luna was angry. "All 3 of you detention!"

"What? No? Please, it's all a misunderstanding!" Twilight said.

"Yes, it wasn't their fault!" Fluttershy added.

"I don't care who's fault it is. Bunnies are forbidden in school. All of you get detention. I am not in the mood today."

Luna left. And Twilight started to panic.

"Oh no, this will ruin my whole life!"

"No it won't. I am sure you're a great student. It's just one detention." Applejack tried to reassure her.

"Yeah, don't worry. It won't affect you." Fluttershy also tried to help.

"That's what they always lie about!"

Later that day Applejack, Fluttershy and Twilight entered library where detention was held.

Few minutes after Rarity and Pinkie came in too.

"How did you two end up here?" Applejack was suprised.

"Oh, don't even ask. Trixie and me got into another fight."

"And I handed them pies so they can solve it as they do in my family!" Pinkie shruged.

Sunset entered the room too.

"Hi everyone!"

"You ended up here too?" Pinkie was shocked. "I thought you don't cause trouble anymore."

"I don't. It was an accident."

"If you say so."

"Perfect! Now you all need to be here for an hour. Do whatever but you aren't allowed to go out of this library!" Luna said. "Ugh, where is Rainbow Dash?"

"Yo!" Rainbow entered the room. "Sorry I'm late Luna!"

"Call me Luna once again and you'll get another detention!"

"Wow chill. No need for anger."

"Anyway, one whole hour here. The librarian will keep an eye on you." Luna said as she left the library.

Librarian sat on the chair.

"My life is ruined!" Twilight was still in panic.

"Oh relax!" Rainbow said. "This is my fifth time being in detention in last 2 weeks. It isn't that bad!"

"Easy for you to say!"

They continued to sit in silence. Sunset continued to read a book she was reading earlier in the library, Rarity was reading a magazine, Twilight studying, and Pinkie and Fluttershy quietly talked.

"Are you the new girl?" Rainbow asked.

"Yeah. Name's Applejack!"

"Nice to meet ya, Aj! I'm Rainbow! How do you like it around here so far? I see you have already gotten in trouble." Rainbow joked. "Are you really that bad?"

"No, I don't usually cause trouble. This was a... bunny accident."

"Too bad. If you ever want to change that you can join me in pranking others. I would love to spend time with you!"

"Oh please no!" Rarity joined. "There are plenty of other ways to hang out! I don't need another person constantly pranking us. Especially if my hair and clothes have to suffer after!"

"What? Blue hair was in fashion then!" Rainbow defended herself.

"No, it was not!"

"Oh well, all's good now."

"No, it is not."

"Uh, can you please not fight? You will distrub Angel." Fluttershy asked.

"And I am trying to read." Sunset said.

"Ugh, fine!" Rainbow said.

Some time later librarian fell asleep.

"FINALLY!" Rainbow was happy. "We are free to go now!"

"What? No!" Twilight said. "You can't just leave!"

"Suit yourself, I am going!"

Suddenly a scream was heard. The girls went outside and saw everyone around a note on the wall.

"It says they kidnapped Trixie!" random girl said. "And that one of us is next unless we give them something they called a magical stone!"

"A magical stone? What could that be?" Applejack was confused and terrified.
