Chapters Star Ocean: A New Frontier
Chapter One
New Planet
“Nelsha...Nelsha. Can you hear me!?” Vi yelled as the fellpool let out a groggy grunt. Nelsha could feel pain all over her body as she slowly began to open her eyes. Normally, this would scare the fellpool as she thought she was out in space due to the ship crashing into something and because she was floating. Though when she noticed that she could breath, she began to notice that she was still inside floating about in the ship. “Oh thank god, you’re alive. How are you feeling?”
“Like I just got thrown around like a ragdoll.” She answered before pulling herself up, but winces from pain she felt from her body. “Vi. Status report please?”
“The ship is still intact, but sadly the warp engine is no longer working.”
“What do you mean no longer working?”
“For some reason, the symbology runes on the warp core are...well gone.” Vi said before pulling a digital screen of the warp core to the warp engine. “This might be due to the wormhole we went through that might be the cause of it.”
“So you’re telling me that we won’t be able to use the warp engine to get back home?”
“It’s not impossible to get home. There are a few options that we can do to get back into the kappa section.”
“Name them please.” Nelsha said before slowly making her way over to the pilot seat. “And also do a scan on me to see if I have anything broken.”
“Option one, we fix the core ourselves by manually replacing the lost spacetime symbology runes. Option two, we activate a distress signal by sending a probe into orbit around the nearest planet and pray that someone from Kronos gets the signal. Option three, we travel through space in hopes of finding the same wormhole.”
“Let’s go with option two for the time being. Can’t go wandering off into a section of space that we have no idea of where to go.” She said before pressing a few buttons to start the engines to the ship. “Locate the nearest planet with some kind of life on it and head towards it.”
“Acknowledged.” Vi said before taking control of the ship and began to fly through space. “Also I’ve finished with scanning your vitals. So far, other than a few bruises. You’re okay with not having any broken bones or internal organ damage. Though there has been a change in your D.N.A”
“The hell do you mean by that Vi?”
“This might have something to do with the wormhole we went through. But there have been some slight changes to your D.N.A structure. I’ll have to scan deeper to see the changes, but for now try not to push yourself too much when you do explore the planet we’re going to.”
“Noted, but I doubt I can not push myself if I’m going to search around the planet we’re heading towards...you did find a planet right?”
“Indeed I have. I took the liberty of taking us there, so we should be there in a matter of minutes. So until then, get some rest and while I take us to the nearest planet and continue scanning you to see what the issue may be with your body.”
“I suppose for the time being I can do that. How long before we reach said planet?”
“Two minutes. We should be thankful that my scanners were able to pick up a planet with life on it while you were asleep.”
“How are we doing on supplies and other stuff?”
“Well enough food and water to survive a year or two in space before dying of starvation or dehydration. The ship only suffered minimal damage and is only missing one cannon, which I can fix and replace. But it will take a month or two seeing how I’ll have to do it bit by bit. Ammunition for your firearms are at an all time high. Two-thousand five hundred to be accurate.”
“That’s good. And what about the digital smith station?”
“Enough material to make parts needed to replace the ones we lost from the fight, and a couple of things if needed. So far we’re set on everything we need. Who would’ve thought your habit of stocking up on supplies after a mission was useful...It also would explain why you’re always short on money.”
“You’ll never know if you end up stuck in space with little to no supplies to survive until rescue.”
“Fair enough. But you’ll need to save your money in case of emergencies.”
“I’ll worry about it later. Right now, I’m more worried about the planet we’re about to land on.” Nelsha said before leaning against the seat she was in. “If it’s a planet with low civilization, then it will be a problem trying not to be noticed by the beings on the planet...or if there are any beings on the planet.”
“I’ll have to send a probe to the planet to scan for life forms. But I’m sure we can manage it. After all, Kronos did train you to be prepared for the unexpected. And with my guidance, we can make it back home in no time.”
“I do like the boost of confidence you’re having.” She said before feeling the ship coming to a slow stop. The lesser fellpool looked forward to seeing a planet in visual. “Looks like we’re here.” She said before seeing three probes quickly being launched towards the planet. “You sure sending probes would be a smart idea?”
“They won’t be going on the planet, but scan around it to see if there’s life on it and breathable air.” Vi said as the lesser fellpool heard a dinging sound coming from the monitor as the probes returned to the ship. “And so far there is life on the planet along with it being breathable.”
“Alright, guess I’ll be exploring the planet.” Nelsha said before stopping the ship from landing towards the planet and having it placed above the clouds.
“You sure it would be wise to go to an unknown planet? I did suggest you get some rest given what happened.”
“Normally I would, but right now we need a place to set up base. While I’m on the planet, you send out a distress signal or try to get into contact with HQ.” She said before getting out of her seat and heading towards the hanger of the ship. “I’ll be taking the Denshi Bunny with me to the planet’s surface.”
“Think that’s a good idea?”
“And bringing in a transportation ship towards the surface is any better? A smaller means of transportation is the best solution for traveling on the surface. That and I prefer to have my fighter craft be taken then my means of traveling the cosmos.”
“Fair enough, but be mindful in trying not to cause trouble. And do remember your mission as well.”
“Yeah, yeah, I haven’t forgotten about that. See if the planet can be useful for the Kronos Organization.” In a matter of minutes, the lesser fellpool made her way into the ship’s hanger. Once there, she begins to prepare herself as Vi preps the fighter jet for take off. “Alright, photon rifle, storage device, swords, medical supplies, and ammunition. Yep, everything is set on my end. What about you Vi?”
“The Denchi Bunny is ready.” He said as the floors to the hanger open up to reveal her fighter craft. “Kinda odd that you didn’t go with the rabbit theme given the name you picked for this spacecraft.”
“Normally I would, but I couldn’t due to money issues...and Lady Blizzard kinda banned me from making any changes to the ship and anything else that isn’t my room.”
“I’m pretty sure it was both out of revenge and punishment for turning her hair neon pink...was it really worth the money?” Vi asked as the lesser fellpool hopped into the cockpit of the craft as it closed behind her as she entered. Once inside, she pressed a few buttons causing the craft to hover above the ground.
“Yes….yes it was.” She answered before placing her hands onto the controls. “Everything set on your end Vi?”
“All systems are a go. Preparing to launch in 5...4...3...2...1….Launch.” The doors to the hanger opened up as the lesser fellpool was launched out like a bullet and into the vast sky of the planet that Vi found.
“Any suggestions on where to land VI?” Nelsha asked as she made her way into a group of clouds to hide her fighter craft from anyone that might see it.
“I would suggest landing in a forest of some kind. It’ll provide coverage and a means to harvest materials for you to analog and use.” The AI said before pulling up a digital screen in front of her. “I don’t have an accurate scan of the planet seeing how it was a quick scan. But I was able to pinpoint forestation next to what appeared to be a giant clearing.”.
“A forest...really?”
“Well it is the best place to hide out in. The only downside would be the unknown wildlife that lives there.”
“Oh yeah, that makes me feel much better.” She said sarcastically. “Do I really have no other options other than the forest?”
“Well we don’t know if the natives are open minded to the whole life out in space. So it’s either you make camp out in the forest, or deal with the natives that might kill you for being different.”
“...Okay, you make a fair and annoying valid point.” Nelsha lets out a sigh of annoyance as she begins to make her way over to the destination given to her by Vi while staying hidden in the clouds.
“If only you were this stealthy during your other missions when it was required.”
“Hey, I’m not that bad when it comes to stealth...I’m...just not a huge fan of it.”
“And you're trying to sneak off during your training, is you being not a huge fan of it?” Vi asked as the lesser fellpool deadpan. “Your silence gives away your hypocrisy.”
“You know, sometimes you can be an ass.” She said as the traveling duo reached their destination. Once there, she began to descend into a clearing in the forest. “Makes me wonder why you’re with me to begin with.”
“To make sure you don’t cause trouble like you always do when given too much freedom.” Vi said before pulling up a digital screen for the soldier to look at. “Be sure to make a layout of the area you’re in. I would prefer to not use the ship to track you down… again.”
“Yes mom .” She said before making the fighter craft land. Once the craft landed, she quickly opened the lid to the cockpit and hopped out of it with her rifle in hand as she scanned the area. “Vi, send a probe to scan the forest and make sure no one notices it.” The lesser fellpool’s ears twitched as she looked over at her spacecraft to see a red orb shooting up towards the sky. “How long before the scan is done?”
“Twenty-four hours. Maybe even more if it’s a big forest.”
“Wonderful. So while that’s happening, I’ll make a layout of the land, as per your orders.” She said before making her way forwards into the forest.
“It’s the military’s orders. Unless I need to remind you of what happened last time when you got lost on earth?”
“I was twelve at the time! Don’t judge me on how I got lost. Didn’t think trying to catch a balloon would lead me to a different area of the city I was in.”
“Well given how your a fellpool from a low level planet-”
“If you finish that statement, I am going to mess up your AI program. Mainly how you look-” Before Nelsha could finish her threat, she heard the sound of rustling coming from a bush a few feet away from her as she aimed her rifle at the area she heard the sound from.
“Life forms are currently surrounding the area we’re in. Should I bring the fighter craft back to the ship?”
“It would be helpful, yes.” She answered before hearing more movement around her. “Less than a minute and I find myself in trouble. Any info on what I’m dealing with?”
“All I know is that I’m detecting a lot of life forms swarming around you. My suggestion for dealing with this, is see what they look like and try to make your escape if they try to attack you.” he said as the lesser fellpool noticed a pair of glowing eyes gleaming from the darkness of the forest she was in. More and more of the same pair of green color eyes gleamed from the darkness of the forest as a rather tall, dark skinned humanoid like being slowly made her way out of the forest as she glared down at Nelsha in both annoyance and slight interest.
“Well, well, well. What do we have here? A lost child, wandering into my forest?” The being said as Nelsha blinked in surprise at her being able to understand her language.
“Huh, wasn’t expecting a planet that had the same earth language. And I’m not even using the universal translator device on me to translate them.” Nelsha thought before activating the translator for herself to talk to the being. “Not lost. Just exploring the forest for fun!”
“Really? For fun?” The being said before making her way over to Nelsha as she examines her up, down, and around her. “It’s rather suspicious that a donkey wearing clothes like this would be having fun in the forest. Especially the domain of myself, Queen Chrysalis.”
“Hey, who are you calling a donkey, buttface!?” The alien yelled as Chrysalis snapped her attention towards the child with malice in her eyes.
“And here we go again.” Vi said as he watched the scene play out.
“You dare insult the queen of the changelings, child!? I have half a mind to kill you where you stand!”
“Half a mind? No wonder you live in the forest, because you must be the villager’s crazy lady or person of the place~” Nelsha said with a cherian grin appearing on her face. Chrysalis on the other hand gritted her teeth as she raised her hand towards the lesser fellpool.
“You must’ve fallen on your head when you were a filly if you think you can get away with insulting me like this.” She said as a sickly green colored flame appeared in her hand. “Now you better answer my question donkey. What are you doing here in my forest!?”
“Might I suggest not pissing her off more than she is? Less you need a reminder, we’re on a planet with no information on it, and no means to contact HQ for assistance.”
“Whoa, easy there lady. I was just joking around. No need to go all fire and brimstone on me.” Nelsha said as she waved her hands forwards in defense. “The truth is...um...I got lost while playing hide and seek with some of the children in...town?”
“You expect me to believe that? How do I know you’re not a spy trying to snuff me out?”
“Well, believe what you want, big butt. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be heading back-” Before she could turn around to leave, a ball of green colored energy flew past her head and landed onto a tree as it burst into flames. “Town… I get the feeling that you’re angry.”
“I was willing to let you leave seeing how you were just a snot nose brat of a donkey, but given how you insulted me three times, my limit has just been reached.” Chrysalis said as her drones started to make their way from out of the darkness as they hissed and growled at the lesser fellpool. “When I’m done with you, you’ll be begging for mercy when I take you to my personal dungeon!”
“... Well, you’ve done it now. ”
“Now’s not the time for one of your ‘I told you so’ speeches. Now is the time for suggestions seeing how we’re kinda surrounded by bug like humans getting ready to eat my ass. And not in a sexual way mind you.”
“I wasn’t even… ugh, ” Vi groaned. “You’re the one holding onto the rifle. Use it. ”
“Yes, I do. But keep in mind, I’m trying not to waste the ammunition I have.” She said before noticing the group circling around her closing in slowly. “Fuck it, not like I’ll be getting more anytime soon.” Nelsha looked around for a moment before seeing a clearing off to the side. She soon took aim at the changelings blocking her way and fired two pulse blasts at the drones heads. Upon making contact with the drones, their heads were blown clean off as it caused the group to stop at what just happened. “Back off freaks! Anyone else takes another step, and I’ll blast your heads off or worse!”
“Or worse? ”
“Shut up smartass. I’m trying to be threatening.” She whispered before turning her attention back on to the group with her rifle aimed at Chrysalis. “What’s it going to be, bug lady!?”
“Oh, such anger~” Chrysalis said before taking a whiff from the air. “I’m a bit impressed by that donkey. Something tells me that you’re not from Equestria, are you~?”
“I just blew off two of your soldiers' heads clean off like water off of a duck. How are you not scared or not freaking out by this?”
“We changelings feed on emotional energy. Be it happy, sad, romantic, etc. But what we really enjoy the most, emotion wise. Is anger, rage, wrath. And you child, have such an interesting smell and taste of anger~”
“Uh… that’s just disturbing… ”
“Yet, very informative to know for the most part.” She said before trying to slowly make her escape. Only for her to quickly jump to the side to avoid an oncoming firebolt heading towards her chest.
“Don’t think I’m going to let you escape me child. When I’m done draining you of your emotions and claim your weapons for myself, I’ll be sure to find out where you live and get more of your kind to serve under me as my army to take over Equestria!”
“... Hey Nelsha… remember when I said not to piss her off? ” Vi asked, “Well… forget that. Because if you don’t do something, both of us are going to be goners. ”
“So you’re saying I have the authority to lay the smack down on her, right?”
“... For this one time, yes. ”
“Finally!! For once, I get to beat someone up without getting in trouble!!” Nelsha declared as she placed her rifle back onto her back and grabbed her saber as she got into a fighting stance and focused on the changeling queen and the drones surrounding her.
“Really? You think you can take us on by yourself?” Chrysalis asked as she, along with the others, couldn’t help but laugh. “You have a better chance using that strange weapon than that sword.”
“I’m pretty sure I can handle it with just hand to hand combat. Plus it’ll make it more humiliating to get your butt handed to you by a kid~”
“... First changeling to rip out her tongue, gets first dibs on sucking her off.” Chrysalis ordered
“... Nelsha… Shut them up. ”The lesser fellpool nods as she quickly jumped in the air to avoid an oncoming changeling trying to tackle her from behind. While above the drone, she quickly impaled her saber into the back of the changeling before she landed onto his back. Her ears twitch upon hearing two more changeling charging at her as she quickly pulls her saber out of the dead changeling, and lunges herself backwards while firing a barrage of jet black and purple color needles from her symology symbol from her hand.
“Shadow Needles!” She yelled as the two changelings were impaled in the face and upper bodies with shards of black crystal like needles.
“Since when can a donkey use magic!?” Chrysalis yelled before flinching from the feeling of the shadow needles shot past the left part of her face. The queen ran a finger along the cut on her face before glaring dagger at the fellpool who in return winked at her with her tongue sticking out. “What are you idiots doing!? Get that stupid mule!”
“Will you stop calling me a donkey, you old hag!?” Nelsha yelled while using the flat part of her saber to knock the nearest changeling coming at her to the side and fired off another barrage of shadow needles aimed at the queen, only for her to quickly summon up a barrier as the needles bounced off and scattered off in different directions. “Didn’t see that coming.”
“Three more, on your left, ” Vi alerted her. The lesser fellpool looked to her left to see them coming towards Nelsha as her sword was coated with a darkish purple aura.
“Blade of fury!” Once they were close, she quickly lobbed off two of their heads with a vertical and horizontal slash. The last changeling of the group that was charging at her was impaled in the chest. Upon making impact, she quickly pulled her saber out of the dead changeling’s body before taking up a defensive stance as she looked over Chrysalis and her drones. “Please tell me there isn’t anymore after these six-?”
“GET HER!!”
“Does that answer your question? ”
“Not helpful, Vi!” She yelled and noticed more changelings coming from out of the forest and began to fire beams of sickly green energy at her, causing her to dodge and use her saber to block the oncoming beams. “Suggestions would be nice though.”
“They can’t sustain these kinds of casualties for long. If you have something that could eliminate a good portion of their forces, they’ll be forced to retreat. ”
“Might have one, but you better not tell HQ about this-” Before she could finish, she felt three of the beams hit and shoot through her left leg, right arm, and her left collar bone as she let out a loud cry of pain as she stumbled backwards into a tree.
“Whatever you got, use it. ” Vi told her.
“Surround her, fools! And one of you, prepare a sleep spell to knock her out!” Chrysalis ordered, grinning in triumph at her victory. Only for that grin to disappear as she head a weird beeping and buzzing sound coming from the area they’re in. “What is that noise?” She asked, only to see the drones that were surrounding Nelsha drop to the ground like flies as her eyes widened in shock at what’s going on. “What in the name of tartarus just happened!?”
“Normally, I wouldn’t do this. But seeing how you really are trying to kill me, I’ll make an exception.” Nelsha said as five machine-like orbs floated around herself as they began aiming in different directions of her surroundings. “Radiation Bots, kill them.” She ordered the bots which began to fire laser beams at Chrysalis and her changelings, the drones would either be sliced in two, burn to death from being hit by the laser, or get a limb or two blasted off. Chrysalis soon turned her attention to Nelsha as she glared in anger at the child. She was about to charge at her in an attempt to kill her, only to stop as one of the bots noticed the queen and shot off her right arm making her yell in pain and fall to the ground while holding her stump of a arm.
“YOU MISERABLE LITTLE BRAT! I AM GOING TO RIP OFF YOUR HEAD AND MOUNT IT OVER MY FIREPLACE IN MY PRIVATE CHAMBERS!!!”
“Not in that state, she isn’t .”
“You have two options, bug butt. Leave now and never bother me again… or I can have my bots here turn you in swiss cheese,” Nelsha glared at the wounded queen, “And given how many holes you have on your arms and legs, I doubt you’ll be up for more holes. Not to mention that you’re down to three soldiers at this point.”
All Chrysalis did was grit her teeth, before glaring to her soldiers. “This is NOT over, you hear me! NOT OVER!!” With that, the changelings retreated into the forest, leaving Nelsha by herself as she let out a sigh of relief.
“Thank god, they left.” She said before the bots scattered into digital pieces. “The bots wouldn’t last long if they choose to continue fighting.”
“You should tend to your wounds quickly before you succumb to them, ” Vi suggested. “I can prepare the medical bay for you. ”
“That… might be a problem.” She said before pulling herself up from the ground and staggering to move forward. “Is there a town nearby from what you were able to scan by now?”
“There is, but- ”
“Then I’m heading there to get patched up. Bringing the denchi bunny here would cause a problem. Especially when you would have to knock out some of the trees around me. Thus getting the attention of the locals on this planet.”
“You make a point there. Though, we don’t know much on if the inhabitants are hostile or- ”
“Don’t have any other options here. That and I’m bleeding out a lot, so...yeah there’s that to add to the factor.” She said before leaning against a tree to try and catch her breath. “Ugh, fuck… this is the second worse pain I have ever experienced!”
“... Second? ” Vi asked, “What was the first? ”
“I accidentally shocked myself when I was modifying my gauntlet to act like a taser...it came out pretty well. Though I have to remember to keep the safety on so I don't shock people. Less they want to get shocked by ten thousand volts of electricity.”
“... Is this the reason why HQ told me that you shouldn’t modify any of your tools? No matter what kind of improvements you manage to make? ”
“No… maybe… yeah that’s pretty much the reason.”
“... That includes the ship as well. ”
“Hey, I can make the ship move faster...if only I had the right parts for it.” She said before going back to walking in a staggering manner only to fall onto her hands and knees. “Okay, time to use one of the med kits.” She said as she reached for the pack tied around her waist, only to deadpan as it had a giant hole in the center of it. “....The universe just loves to see me in pain doesn’t it?”
“Hold on… someone’s coming, ” Vi told her, “They appear to be from the nearby village. ”
“...Better keep the safety off on my gauntlet if they look like the ones from the forest.” Nelsha said before pulling herself up and headed towards the person or people from the village. “Set all weapons security settings on if I pass out. Have it set to stun if they try to touch my weapons.”
“That… might not be necessary, ” Vi told her, “From their appearance… it looks like three of them are just children and one’s an adult. They don’t appear to be hostile at all. ”
“Yeah...keep it to where it’ll cause them not to touch my weapons. Because keep in mind, my blaster did kill those bug human hybrid things. Not to mention children tends to let curiosity get the better of them.”
“I think they’re here because they noticed the probe that you asked for me to send out earlier. ”
“...Who would’ve thought them seeing something like that would save me.” Nelsha said before letting out an audible groan of pain as she leans up against another tree while on the ground. Her vision began to fade in and out of consciousness as she slapped herself in an attempt to keep herself awake, but it failed due to how weak the slaps were getting due to blood loss. “I’m...having a bit of a problem staying awake Vi…”
“...You’re going to hate me for this, but place your gauntlet onto your leg.”
“The hell are you on about Vi?”
“Trust me on this Nelsha. I have a plan.” The lesser fellpool simply shrugs as she placed a hand onto her leg. “Good...now.forgive me for what happens next.”
“What do you….oh you mother-” Before she could finish her sentence, a surge of electricity flowed throughout her body as she lets out a loud cry of pain for a good few seconds as Vi deactivated the gauntlet. The lesser fellpool coughed before passing out from the pain, but not before saying one last thing before her vision faded into darkness. “....asshole…”

Chapter Two: Escaping The Hospital
Chapter Two
Escaping The Hospital
The lesser fellpool slowly began to regain consciousness. She snuggled into what she could guess was a bed she was in, trying to fight off the urge to fall back to sleep, but thanks to the sunlight hitting her face, she was able to slowly pull herself from slumber. As her vision began to clear up after rubbing them, she found herself in what appears to be a room inside of a hospital. A rather nice looking room compared to the cold and colorless hospital rooms back at HQ. As she admired the room she was in, she soon noticed that she was still wearing her armor, though the holes that were blasted into her had bandages placed on the skin parts that were showing, and her weapons were gone. Save for the gauntlet on her right arm.
“Guess Vi’s idea actually worked.” Nelsha said as she was about to pull herself up and out of bed, only to feel her right arm restrained. Looking down she saw that her right wrist was in shackles as she jerked it a bit to test its strength. “Yeah, nice way to welcome someone into their community.”
“Well you did tell me to make sure that they wouldn’t take your stuff off you.” said a familiar voice the lesser fellpool grins in delight. “Nice to see you’re awake, Nelsha. You’ve been knocked out for a good twenty-four hours. Which it was for the best given as to what happened to you yesterday in the forest.”
“Nice to see you’re okay. Especially after shocking me with my own gauntlet. Thanks for that by the way.”
“It was the only way to get the life forms on this planet’s attention. And it did work in both our favors. Sadly I couldn’t stop them from taking your weapons away while you were sleeping. But I did make sure they didn’t try and take your uniform off you.”
“Great, you think they wouldn’t have means of disarming me while I was knocked out. Are my weapons nearby?”
“Currently located inside a giant house in the shape of a tree. The one who took it was a humanoid like female similar to the one in the forest. But her skin was brown, brunette hair with a streak of purple and magenta, had pointy ears on her head.”
“How developed is this planet? Technology wise?” She asked while flexing her finger as a bobby pin appeared from out of her gauntlet as she began to tinker with the lock to her shackle on her wrist.
“Development wise...Surprisingly weird. While you were asleep, I was able to hack into their system to collect some information. Which surprises me that this planet would have technology similar to that of Earth’s. In a matter of life cycles or so, they might be on par with The Pangalactic Federation...I will do more investigation into this matter. But for now try to find a way to get your gear back.”
“Working on it. Just trying to get myself unshackled from this.” Nelsha said as she grins upon seeing the shackle open. “Haha! Got it!”
“Do keep your voice down. We don’t want them to know you’re awake. It also doesn’t help that I’m doing repairs on your universal translator.”
“What the hell happened to it?”
“That would be my fault on that. Apparently your modified gauntlet fried some of the circuits in the device. It’s gonna take a while for the repairs to be done fully. But you can understand what they’re saying, so that’s a good thing.”
“Swell,” The lesser fellpool pulled herself out of the bed she was in, as she carefully made her way over to the door. Once she was there, she opened the door to her room to see two guards wearing gold armor standing off to the side with a spear in hand. She looks up at the tip of the spear to see another guard standing to the other side of the doorway. The alien lets out a low groan of annoyance as she quickly pulls herself back and closes the door silently. She soon has an idea as she walks over to the window and tries to open it. To her misfortune, it was closed shut.
“Problem?”
“Two guards are standing outside the door. Don’t think I can get out through the front. And the windows are shut tight.”
“Hm, might I suggest the vents. That is if the room you're in has any kind of ventilation system.” He asked as the lesser fellpool looked up at the ceiling to see a vent.
“Yep, there's a way to get inside the vents.” She said before hearing some voices coming from the door. “Shit, looks like they’re letting someone in.”
“It’s your choice if you want to stay or leave this place. But bare in mind that as long as your weapons aren’t on you, they can be activated by others. Mainly your pulse rifle.”
“...Fuck it. I’ll try to figure out an apology when I can get the chance.” She said before jumping towards the vent and pries it open. As it opened, she quickly made her way inside and closed it silently. Once inside, she turns around to see who was entering the room. To her surprise six colorful looking people enter the room. One of them sticking out the most due to the description of what Vi said about who took her gear.As the group entered the room, they all blinked in surprise at seeing the room being empty.
“Um...Fluttershy? Didn’t you say that the kid was in this room?” Applejack asked as she and the others began to search the room for the alien.
“Yes, she was in here when I rushed her over to the hospital yesterday after finding her in the Everfree Forest.” Fluttershy said while looking underneath the bed. “She shouldn’t have been able to walk or move from the holes in her legs and arm.”
“Well she’s obviously not in here Shy.” Rainbow Dash said as she looked over to pull on the windows. “She couldn’t have gotten out through the windows. Especially since we’re on the third floor.”
“I’m wondering how she could’ve taken the shackle off. It’s not like she could use magic given how she’s a donkey.” Starlight said as Nelsha was about to say something, but stopped due to remembering where she was and continued to watch...though she will make a mental note on getting the girl with purple hair and a mint color highlight in her hair.
“I don’t think she’s a donkey.” Fluttershy said while looking through the closet of the room they’re in. “From what I can tell when I brought her here, she has ears like a rabbit and a tail and teeth like a cat...Something doesn’t seem right about her.”
“Maybe she's an alien from beyond the stars. Here to try and take over the world and make us into breeding slaves for their species!” Pinkie Pie yelled as everyone looked at her with deadpan expressions on their faces. “What?”
“....Okay now that’s racist towards aliens.” Nelsha whispered as she made another mental note on this.
“To be fair, she’s not wrong about that...to some degree. It just depends on the alien and I doubt you’re anything like that given your...lesser qualities.”
“Oh fuck you ya bodiless sound bite!” She said before turning her focus on the girls in the room.
“Pinkie Pie, darling. We’ve been over this. There are no such things as aliens. You really need to stop watching those late night alien movies.” Rarity said as she bit the nail on her thumb. “What I’m curious about is to what somepony as young as she is would be doing in the everfree forest?”
“She couldn’t have gotten far so let’s search the building. Let's search around the hospital and see if she’s hiding somewhere. Make sure she doesn’t escape.” The girls nodded in agreement before they each exited the room along with the guards, only for Pinkie Pie to pause and look up at the vent that Nelsha was looking through. The lesser fellpool paused and held her breath upon making eye contact with her. The girl winked at her with a smile before leaving the room.
“...She might be a problem.” Nelsha said as she began to make her way through the vents.
“Seventy-five percent chance that she might know you’re in the vents. Might want to keep your stun gauntlet ready if she appears and tries to catch you.”
“I kinda figured as much. But I doubt she can fit through the vents given her size. Looks more like they were all in their mid twenties. What kind of species are they? They almost resemble fellpools, but their features are that of a horse.”
“I’m a bit busy trying to fix your universal translator. So forgive me if I’m not fully focused on telling you what they are.”
“Starting to wish I brought a second translator if I knew this was going to happen.”
“I’ll be sure to make a mental note of that for future planning when going to different planets...And possibly make it more resistant to electrical damage.”
“How far are you on fixing it?” Nelsha asked as Vi went silent. “Vi, how far are you on fixing it?”
“...Promise not to get mad?”
“That depends on how far you are at getting it fixed. Now please answer me or else I’ll mess up your visual appearance module.”
“....it’s only at five percent.” Vi answered as it caused the lesser fellpool to pause.
“I’m sorry, I thought I misheard that...did you say five persent fixed?”
“Yes...the damage to the device is more severe then I had anticipated.” He said before noticing Nelsha went back to crawling through the vent. “I take it you’re mad.”
“Mad doesn’t begin to describe how I’m feeling right now...My anger is being directed at that stupid bug horse humanoid creature. If it wasn’t for her, then I wouldn’t be in this mess in the first-” Before she could finish, she heard the sound of metal falling down onto the floor below her, followed by a scream. “-place...you don’t think they know I’m in the vents do you?”
“She’s in the vents! Don’t let her get away!”
“Does that answer your question?” He asked as the lesser fellpool was about to reply, only for her to see a light skin girl with rainbow color hair and cyan color pony ears appeared through the open latch to the vent.
“Don’t even think about trying to escape, kid!” Rainbow Dash said as she was about to pull herself into the vent to chase her, only to get face full of electricity as Nelsha quickly used her gauntlet to stun the humanoid pegasus as she let out a yell of pain before falling face first onto the ground. The girls circle around the spazzing girl before Applejack looked up at the vent and glared up at Nelsha.
“You even think about coming after me, and you’ll end up just like that rainbow haired girl. Got it?” Nelsha said as she noticed the mixed expression on the girls faces.
“They can’t understand you. Remember? The translator is still being repaired.” Vi said as the alien rolled her eyes.
“So what do they think I’m speaking?”
“Gibberish if I’m being accurate.”
“She’s speaking in an alien language! I told you she was an alien!” Pinkie Pie yelled as she felt Applejack smack her upside her head.
“Will you calm down? We're trying to get her out from there and not fear us. Do not do the opposite and scare her.” The farm pony side as she looks back at Nelsha. “Now sugarcube, we’re not here to hurt you or anything. We just want to talk to you so we can get an understanding as to what happened to you and where you’re from. Now why don’t you come down here so we can talk and-” Before she could finish, the lesser fellpool quickly turned around and quickly began to crawl through the vents. “Hey! Get back here!”
“You guys head towards the exit.” Starlight said to the two guards as her horn began. “We’ll lure the kid there for you. You make sure to catch.” The guards nodded as they teleported towards the entrance of the hospital. The moment they left, Starlight used her magic to start teleporting sections of the vent out of the ceiling and onto the floor with ease.
“Not good, not good!” Nelsha yelled as she quickly crawled through the vents while looking behind herself to see sections of the vent vanishing. Due to her being distracted, she felt the ground disappearing from underneath her as she fell face first through a hatch that led into the kitchen of the lunch room in the hospital. Just before she hit the ground, she quickly stopped herself from falling through as she was a few feet away from falling into a pot of soup.
“It would appear you found the kitchen in the hospital. Though I doubt you would want fellpool soup.”
“Haha, very funny.” Nelsha carefully made her way around the cooking pot of soup and landed onto the floor. “Okay, kitchen. Good place to be seeing how they’ll never expect to find me here. That and I can snack on a few things in here.”
“Wouldn’t this be classified as stealing?”
“It’s only stealing if I don’t pay for it in return.” She said before reaching into her pocket to pull out a small bag of fol with a card on it. “That should be enough to cover for the food I’m about to eat...or at least try to eat.” The lesser fellpool began to search around the kitchen for anything that she might be able to eat. To her disappointment, there wasn’t that much to eat besides fruits and vegetables. “Where’s the meat in this place!? All they have are fruits, vegetables, grass, and hay.”
“To be fair, you are on a humanoid horse planet. It shouldn’t have surprised you that their diet is mainly that of a herbivore. Well possibly ninety-five percent of their diet is that of a herbivore. There’s a pack of eggs off to the side.”
“Fucking hell. So the only thing they have for me to eat is fruits, vegetables, and fucking eggs that I can’t eat raw...well I can eat them raw, but it just taste awful and feels gross in my mouth.”
“Well it’s not like you can make food appear out of nowhere.”
“Yeah, if only I can do that.” Nelsha closes the refrigerator before fantasizing about her favorite food. “I miss how Lumina would always take time out of her schedule to make me those mochi bunnies. They were so soft, sticky, and had so many different flavors hidden inside them. What I wouldn't give to have-” before she could finish, the lesser fellpool felt something appear in her hand. Looking down she noticed there was a green color ball in her hand as she pulled it up to her nose and sniffed it.
“...I’m not the only one that notices this...am I?”
“Vi, scan this if you have the time? This can’t be what I think this is...right?”” She asked. The AI quickly scans the pastry ball before speaking up.
“This is no hologram or illusion of any kind. This is one-hundred percent actual food.”
“How is that possible!? I don’t recall ever learning any symbology to make something like this.”
“Technically there isn’t any symbology that allows you to make food appear out of nowhere...this might have something to do with the change in your D.N.A. that I mention the other day.”
“...So I can pretty much make any type of food I can imagine?”
“In theory yes, but if it’s anything like symbology. It all depends on the user. I would recommend trying to bring some food with you before-”
“You think the kid fell in there Starlight?” said a familiar southern voice as Nelsha tensed up.
“From what the janitor said, the vent the kid was in leads to the kitchen. So it would be a safe bet that she’s in there munching on food.” Starlight answered as the two entered the kitchen. Just as they entered, Nelsha quickly jumped onto the ceiling of the kitchen and watched them while moving to make sure they didn’t see her.
“Vi, options please?” Nelsha asked as she kept an eye on Applejack and Starlight.
“You’re going to have to knock the symbologist out of commission if you want to escape. Given what she did while you were fleeing, she’s a major threat.”
“Was hoping I didn’t have to use force to get out of this. But if that’s the case, then I have no choice but to use force.” The pupils in Nelsha’s eyes became cat-like as her nails became sharp and pointy. Her focus was set on Starlight as she released her hold on the ceiling and landed right onto her back. The humanoid unicorn lets out a scream of panic and begins to try and get Nelsha off of her back.
“What in tarnation!?” Applejack turned her attention at Starlight before covering her eyes from the electricity coming off of the alien’s gauntlet. Starlight lets out a cry of pain before falling to the ground and spasms a bit from being hit. “You’re going to regret that sugarcube.” Applejack said as she tried to tackle her, only to stagger backwards from being hit in the face by the mochi ball that Nelsha made moments ago. “What in the world is this stuff!?”
“Sorry about this lady, but I’m not in the mood to be captured.” The lesser fellpool quickly lunged herself over to Applejack as she placed her hand on her face, and delivered a high voltage of electricity through the farm girl’s body. Nelsha smirked for a moment, but blinked as she felt Applejack slowly placed a hand on her wrist.
“You really shouldn’t have done that little missy.” Applejack said while increasing her grip on her wrist. “Now you are going to come with me so we can get some answers.”
“Vi, scan this girl and increase the voltage of the gauntlet to the appointed voltage to knock her out.” She said while trying to resist by pulling away from the farm girl. As she did this she noticed a bowl with some strange red power. She sniffed the air and noticed it was a bowel of some kind of spice, which gave her an idea. The lesser fellpool used her tail to grab the bowl while using her free hand to grab a tomato from the side of her as they walked by and tossed it at Applejack’s head. The farm pony paused as she turned around and glared at the lesser fellpool, only to be met with a cloud of spice as she released her hold on Nelsha, and recoiled back from the pain she felt from the spice hitting her eyes and filling her nose.
“GAH! MY EYES! I CAN’T SEE!”
“Adjustment complete. Time for her to go to sleep.” Vi said as the lesser fellpool launched herself towards Applejack to shock her again. The farm girl let out a loud scream of pain from feeling the electricity flowing through her body. In a matter of seconds, Applejack dropped to the floor like a ton of bricks.
“That didn’t kill her, did it?”
“No, she’s knocked out as requested. She’ll be knocked out for a few hours or so, but now would be a good time to get out of there and fast. Though I suggest finding an alternative route then going through the front door.”
“Right, because they’ll suspect me of going through the front door due to me not knowing other exits in this place. Think this place has a back door?”
“They should have one. This is the kitchen after all. Try checking the back to see if there is one.” Vi suggested as the lesser fellpool began to make her way towards the back part of the kitchen. Once there she quickly scanned the area as her eyes laid upon the exit sign on the door.
“Perfect. Once we’re outside, I need you to tell me where that dark skinned girl’s home is so I can get my gear Vi.”
“With the tracking device on your pulse rifle, it shouldn’t be that hard to guild you.” Nelsha grinned in excitement as she quickly headed towards the exit, and out of the hospital. Just as the alien left the hospital, Starlight slowly staggered to her feet as she winced from the pain she felt in her head.
“Ugh, I can’t believe we got dropped by a kid.” Starlight said as she soon noticed a knocked out Applejack face down. Her eyes widened as she quickly rushed over and pulled her up to examine the state she was in. To her surprise, it didn’t look like she was badly hurt, though she does need to see a doctor due to the redness around her eyes and nose. “Twilight is not going to like this one bit.” She said before levitating the unconscious farm girl next to her as she slowly made her way out of the kitchen and towards the others.

Chapter Three
A Step Ahead
“Any sign of the kid?” Twilight asked as Rarity and Fluttershy shook their heads. “Darn, maybe Applejack and Starlight have it better off then we did.”
“I wouldn’t be too sure about that.” Rainbow Dash said as she pointed over to the left. The group looked over to their left to see Starlight levitating a familiar farm girl over to them.
“Oh my goodness! What happened to you two?” Fluttershy asked as she and Rainbow Dash quickly moved over and caught the apple farmer.
“The kid got the drop on us, and stunned us with that weird gauntlet on her arm. Applejack might have gotten the worst of it given the spice on her face.” Starlight answered as Twilight let out an annoyed sigh. “Sorry Twilight.”
“This is going to be harder than I thought. We might need some help from Celestia if we’re going to make sure she doesn’t escape from the hospital...wait, where were the two of you when this happened?”
“It happened in the kitchen...why?”
“Doesn’t this place have a back...door.” Their eyes widen upon hearing Rarity complete her sentence at the sudden realisation of what happened as everyone looked over at Twilight. “Oh...this might be a problem.”
“Great, so we have a zap happy kid wandering around town. This is going to be like trying to find a needle in a sea of clouds..only she’ll possibly zap somepony if they cross her.” Rainbow Dash said before noticing Twilight pulling out a cellphone and began to push buttons on it. “Really? Texting at a time like this?”
“I’m sending a message to Princess Celestia and Princess Luna to see if they can help. Should’ve done this sooner, but I didn’t think this would be a problem.” Twilight said before sending the message off. “Until we get a message from them, we’ll have to think of a plan to catch her before she escapes Ponyville.”
“And how are we going to get her before she escapes Ponyville?” Rarity asked as he bit the nail on her thumb. “It’s not like we know where she’s going to go first.”
“....I think I might know where she might go first.” Starlight said as everyone looked over at her. “She was in the kitchen when we last saw her. My guess is that she must’ve been trying to find something to eat. So we can try and lure her out with food of some kind.”
“That might work. But what do you think she’ll eat? Pinkie Pie, you wouldn’t happen to” Fluttershy looked over to ask Pinkie Pie, but paused as she couldn’t find her with them. “Um...where’s Pinkie Pie?”
“She was just here a minute ago...Don’t tell me she went off to do something ridiculous?” Rarity asked as Fluttershy shrugs, causing the seamstress to sigh. “I’ll have a look around the hospital again. You girls find the kid and give me a call if you see Pinkie pie as well.”
“I’ll help you too once Rainbow Dash and I get Applejack to a doctor.” Fluttershy said as she, Rarity, and Rainbow Dash walked down the hallway carrying the knocked out farm pony humanoid.
“Looks like it’s just you and me Starlight.” Twilight said as Starlight folded her arms in annoyance. “Look, I know you’re angry after what happened. But we have to remember that she’s just a scared kid...a scared kid with stuff that looks like they belong to the royal guard and having surprising cat-like reflexes, but still a scared kid.”
“I know..But I’m more worried that she might get in trouble. Law wise at least.”
“You worry too much, I'm sure the guards in Ponyville won’t do anything that might hurt her.” Twilight said as Starlight raised an eyebrow at her. “...We should inform my brother about this.”
“That would be best seeing how a lot of them are not the brightest bunch of bananas. No offense.”
“None taken…” Twilight said after sending a message to Shining Armor about the situation going on. “Okay, sent the same message for the princesses to my brother. Now we just need to know where she’s going.”
“Well, if I was in her shoes. Scared and alone in a place unfamiliar to me, I would be trying to find where my stuff would be...which means she’s heading for the castle of friendship.”
“You think she knows where my home is?”
“She might, especially seeing how you’re home is a giant crystal sticking out of the ground and she might have a tracking spell on her stuff.” Starlight said as she noticed Twilight’s thinking expression on her face. “You have an idea on how to get her don’t you?”
“I do, but I need you to tell the girls to meet in front of my home and have Applejack ready with a rope.”
While Twilight and her friends were busy formulating a plan, Nelsha meanwhile hopped from rooftop to rooftop making her way to where her equipment was located thanks to Vi’s help. While hoping from rooftop to rooftop, she would at times look below her to take notice of some of the features the inhabitants have which got her a bit curious along with her surrounding area.
“This place is weird. Not because the humanoid looking horse people, but mainly from how modern this place is from what you said VI. Got anything else that you looked up on this world’s internet?”
“At the moment no. I’m more focused on repairing the universal translator. You’re currently on your own gathering information about this world until I’m done.”
“Makes sense. Focus on repairing it for the time being, but keep me updated on the process aokay?”
“Acknowledged.” Vi said before showing her a digital map of where her gear was located. “Here’s the location of your gear. Do try not to make too much trouble to get them back like last time.”
“Hey, that time it wasn't my fault. How was I supposed to know they do daily clean of lockers.” Nelsha said before continuing making her way through town. As she hopped onto another rooftop, she soon caught a whiff of something sweet in the air as it caused her to stop on the next rooftop. She began to sniff the air around her as she walked over to the side of the roof to see a familiar pink haired girl placing what appeared to be pie underneath a giant box with a stick holding it up with a string attached to it. “...Vi, are you seeing this?”
“You mean the fact that the girl from the hospital is doing something from a cartoon?”
“How primitive does she think I am? Even I’m not that stupid enough to fall for something like that.”
“To be fair, you did get your hand stuck in the vending machine back at HQ.”
“Hey, I wasn’t going to let that candy bar go. Especially seeing how I didn’t have any more change on me at the time.” Nelsha said before turning around to head towards the direction of the Castle. “Best not mess with her for the time being. Just need to get my stuff and head back to the denchi bunny before anything else happens.”
“Smart move on your part for once-” Before Vi could finish, Nelsha’s ears twitches upon hearing someone scream off in the distance as she turns her direction towards the west part of the area she’s in. “Is something the matter?”
“I heard someone screaming. Off to the west of this village.” She said while using her ears to pick up on the perceived location of the scream.
“Now is not the time for you to be helping others Nelsha. You need to get your gear before that woman that took it figures out where you’re going.” Vi said as the Lesser Fellpool rolled her eyes before picking up the location of the scream as she quickly headed over to it. Once she was there, she could see a pair of light skin colored humanoid like ponies holding each in fear from a pack of wild dogs slowly creeping up towards them.
“This is why I hate dogs, Silver Spoon! Nothing good ever comes from them!” Diamond Tiara yelled as she and Silver Spoon backed up even more until their backs were against the wall of the alleyway they’re in.
“This is not how I wanted my life to end! It was supposed to end with me getting old!” Silver Spoon yelled as she buried her face into Diamond’s chest while hugging her tightly. The lesser fellpool looked down upon the scene as she pulled herself back a bit and began to stretch her limbs a bit.
“You’re not thinking of getting involved in this are you? Not that I’m against the idea of you helping, but bare in mind that you only have your gauntlet and Radiation Bots as the only weapon you have on you.”
“Not like I can leave them to fend for themselves seeing how they’re kids.”
“But aren’t you a kid as well?” Vi asked as Nelsha paused upon hearing that.
“Yeah, but I have more combat experience than they do. Besides, dealing with these mutts won’t be a problem.” She said before finishing stretching her limbs, jumps off the roof, and lands in between the two humanoid pony girls and the wild dogs. Both the girls and the group of dogs were taken by surprise from Nelsha’s entrance; their attention was focused on her now then each other. The lesser fellpool looked over at Diamond Tiara and SIlver Spoon with a smirk before looking back at the dogs who were glaring and growling at her before taking a step forwards towards her.
“I would advise to eliminate them due to the fact that they have rabies and could possibly attack other citizens in this town. Also do try to make it look less bloody. Mainly because it might freak the girls you’re protecting.”
“So use extreme measures, but make it look less bloody than it needs to be. Fair enough I suppose.” Nelsha said as one of the dogs lunged itself towards her, only for the alien girl to quickly reach for a nearby trash lid, and toss it at the dog as it hits its neck making a loud cracking sound before hitting the ground hard. “One down, two to go.” She said before noticing the other two dogs moving to her sides.
“Seems like they have some kind of intelligence if they’re trying to attack you from both sides. But it won’t help them given the counter measure you have for this...right?” He asked as the alien simply nodded before noticing the dogs lunging at her from both sides. Just as they were inches from latching their teeth onto her, she quickly jumped into the air as they collided head first into each other and fell to the ground, staggered. Once she landed onto the ground she quickly rushed over to the dogs and delivered a high voltage shock to the two with her gauntlet as the dogs let out loud yelps of pain before going silent and motionless on the ground.
“Targets down and out. Nice to see that my reflexes are still good.” She said before looking over at the two girls behind her with a wink before hopping onto a nearby building and quickly running off towards the crystal castle. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon stared at the creature running off for a moment before turning their attention to the dead dogs.
“I’m not the only one that saw this right?” Diamond asked as she pulled herself together.
“No, I saw it too... was she a donkey or something?” Silver asked as Diamond shook her head.
“I don’t think so...but did you see what she just did? Such power, such skills, and the way she could handle herself in a fight.” Diamond said as a grin appeared on her face. “We need to make that girl our friend so she can teach us how to do that!”
“....You can’t be serious? Did you not see what she just did to those dogs? How do we know she won’t kill us?”
“Then why would she save us from the dogs and run off?” Diamond asked as she began to move past the dead dogs. “We’re going after her to see where she lives. Once we know where she lives, we’ll be able to have a little talk with her. Are you coming Silver Spoon? Because if you’re not, then I’ll go alone if I need to.”
“....Darnit! Fine, I’ll go with you. But I’m doing this so you don’t get hurt or worse. She might end up killing you and eating your corpse for dinner or something.” Silver said as she quickly followed after Diamond. “Do you even know where she’s going?” She asked as Diamond looked around the area they’re in, only for her to see the lesser fellpool hopping from rooftop to rooftop heading towards Twilight’s Castle.
“She’s heading towards the castle.”
“Why would she go there?”
“Who knows. Maybe she has something that belongs to her?” Diamond answered before quickly running after the lesser fellpool. “All I know is that we need to get her to come with us.”
“H-Hey! Wait up!” Silver yelled as she quickly followed after Diamond Tiara towards the crystal castle.

[Ponyville]
[Castle of Friendship]
“Dear god! Look at this place!?” Nelsha yelled while making her way through the castle of friendship. “This place is like something you would see in a fairy tale of somekind.”
“It’s indeed impressive. Hard to believe the entire town isn’t made out of crystal. That or Royalty in a nutshell.”
“I can never understand Royalty wanting big places to live in. Seems like a waste of materials and time when you can just live in a small home.”
“To each their own I suppose, but let's focus on the task at hand. Your weapons are located at the end of the hallway upon making a right turn around the corner.” Vi said as Nelsha quickly took a right turn and bolted it down the hallway of the castle. Once she was a few feet from the giant double doors, the lesser fellpool quickly jumped into the air, kicked the door open, and landed gracefully in the map room.
“And that is how you make a grant entrance!”
“Now if only there was someone to watch you do that...which there isn’t.”
“...Must you always ruin my moment, Vi?” Nelsha asked as she began to explore the room in search of her weapons.
“Only so you don’t get a bloated ego like most people would. Your gear is located behind the seat with the star like sign on it.” Vi said as Nelsha quickly walked over to the chair. Looking behind it, she saw her swords, shield, and firearm neatly lined up against the back part of the seat as she grinned.
“Nice to have my stuff back.” She said while reaching for it and placing them back onto herself. “Vi, scan my gear for anything out of the ordinary. I prefer not to have anything weird happening if I have to get into a fight.”
“Doing it right now actually...so far, nothing out of the ordinary both physically or magical wise.”
“Good. Now let's get the hell out of here before-” Before she could finish her sentence, her ears twitched upon hearing the sound of someone teleporting into the room she’s in. She soon turns around to lock eye contact at Twilight as the two stare at each other. “-someone comes here...shit.”
“I had a feeling you would be here.” Twilight said as her horn glowed, which caused Nelsha to back away from Twilight and unsheath her sword. “Shouldn’t have left those weapons behind my seat.”
“Vi, how’s the translator repair going?”
“twenty-five percent repaired. To them, it’ll sound like broken english given how similar their language is to the human language of english.”
“Great. Starting to regret not taking those translation classes.” Nelsha whispered before focusing on Twilight. “You got about five seconds to move aside or else I’m going to knock you off your butt lady.” She said which caused Twilight to raise her hand and slowly walk over to the lesser fellpool.
“Easy there child. I’m not here to hurt you or anything. I’m just here to talk. Why don’t you just put that sword away, and we can work something out-” Before Twilight could finish her sentence, Nelsha bolted it towards the door to try an escape. Just as she was inches away from the open doors, she was soon pushed back due to Twilight shutting them with her magic. “Nice try, but I knew you might try to escape. So I planned ahead and set up a means to make sure you wouldn’t escape.” She said as magical chains appeared around the doors and windows in the room.
“Vi, escape plan?”
“She blocked the doors and windows, but not the floors. I would recommend you use something to blow a hole in the floor or something.” Vi said which caused Nelsha to look at her sword and smirked. The lesser fellpool’s sword started to glow bright blue as she quickly made a circle on the ground. Twilight’s eyes widened at the sudden realisation of what she was doing as she tried to use her magic to levitate her from off the floor. But it was too late, as the floor underneath the alien gave way as she made her escape into a spare guest room on the second floor.
“Haha! Later, old hag!” Nelsha yelled before bolting it out of the room and down the hallway of the second floor. Twilight lets out an annoyed groan from this as purple color wings made out of magic appeared on her back. She soon quickly gave chase after the lesser fellpool as she followed her down to the second floor and down the hallway. “Vi. Please tell me that you have an exit strategy on hand?”
“I have a few, but all of them end in you having to fight her and the group outside waiting for you.”
“Great, not only her but her friends are waiting for me outside. This is starting to become a problem.”
“Sorry, guess my plans on getting that woman with the light pink hair made things worse in the aftermath.”
“It’s fine. I blame that weird bug looking lady for that.” Nelsha said as she looked behind herself to see that Twilight was flying after her as the alien kicked it into high gear and pulled out her rifle. As she turned the corner of the hallway she was in, she took aim at a closed window and fired off a photon shot at it. Upon impact, it made a hole big enough for the Lesser Fellpool to hop through as she did just that.
Twilight’s eyes widened as she used her magic to teleport outside in an attempt to catch her from falling, only to blink in surprise as the lesser fellpool landed on her feet with ease before running off towards the front of the building. Once Nelsha was about to turn the corner around the side of the castle, her ears twitched upon hearing the sound of something flying towards her as she quickly jumped over an oncoming Rainbow Dash trying to catch her, but ended up missing and crashed into a nearby bush.
“Thank you long rabbit ears.” Nelsha said before feeling herself being lifted up into the air. Looking around, she saw Starlight’s hands glow as a sign she was the one doing it.
“I got her girls. Applejack, get the rope ready-” Before Starlight could finish, she felt her body freeze up and fall to the ground. Applejack looked over at the alien as she noticed that her weapon was aimed at her and quickly jumped out of the way of the stun shot heading towards her. Nelsha felt the magic around her vanish as she landed back onto the ground.
“Nice work on stunning the symbologist users. But you might want to make a hasty getaway.” Vi suggests as she saw Twilight landing next to Starlight in an attempt to heal her of her paralysis. She soon looks behind herself to see Rainbow Dash pulling herself out of the bushes, quickly bolts out of it, and heads towards the lesser fellpool. Nelsha quickly jumps over her and lands onto her back.
“Hey! Get off of me you little-” Before she could finish, Nelsha placed her hand onto her back and stunned her like she did with Starlight. Rainbow Dash let out a loud yell of pain as Nelsha jumped off of her back. Upon jumping off of Rainbow Dash’s back, the humanoid pegasus crashed into a nearby dumpster.
“This is like trying to get Winona to take a bath after playing in the mud.” Applejack said as she noticed Twilight landing next to her. “Please tell me y’all have some kind of plan in trying to get her to calm down.
“If I can hit her with a translation spell, then we might be able to get her to stop.” She said before looking over at Fluttershy. “I need you to use the stare on her so I can get the spell ready.”
“I’m on it.” Fluttershy said as she quickly flew over to Nelsha. The alien took notice of the pegasus flying over to her as she placed her rifle on her back and prepared to stun her with her gauntlet. Only pause upon seeing her glaring down at her.
“You should be ashamed of yourself. Young children like you shouldn’t be carrying dangerous weapons like this, nor should you be using them to hurt others.” Fluttershy said before pointing a finger at Rainbow Dash and Starlight. “It's obvious that your parents did a poor job in teaching you on how to behave. And they should be ashamed of themselves for raising such a-” Before she could finish, the pegasus let out a yelp of pain from feeling Nelsha zapping her with the gauntlet as she fell to the ground spazzing out due to being tazed.
“Now would be a good time to leave. Mainly because you’re starting to draw attention from the people around you.” Vi said as Nelsha noticed a few humanized ponies starting to gather in the area they’re in. She smirks upon seeing this before looking at Twilight and the other before speaking.
“Much as I'd love to play with you some more, I have more important matters to attend too.” Nelsha placed her hands up into the air as a dark circle appeared along with a ball of darkness above said symology like circle. “Till next time.” The Lesser Fellpool said as her hands slammed down onto the ground as it caused a dust cloud to erupt from where she stands. Twilight and her friends quickly covered their eyes for a good few minutes until the dust cloud slowly began to vanish. Once it was gone, the girls looked around to see that Nelsha was gone.
“Great, we lost her. Again.” Applejack said as she quickly ran over to Fluttershy to help her up.
“This is just dreadful!” Rarity said as she looked over herself covered in dust from the dust cloud. “Do you know how much cleaning I’m going to have to do to get all this dust out of my mane?” She said as Twilight rolled her eyes at this as she walked over to Rainbow Dash and levitated her up from out of the dumpster.
“Did we get her?” Rainbow Dash asked as Twilight placed her back onto her feet.
“Sadly no...I may have underestimated this child more than I originally thought. For now, we need to head back to the castle and think of a plan to deal with her.”
“So pretty much regroup to the castle and think of a plan?” Starlight asked as she limps over to Twilight and Rainbow Dash. “Because we’re going to need something better than just charging at her.”
“That would be best.” Twilight said as she and her friends began to head off inside. As they were making their way inside the castle, Nelsha was on a nearby house watching from a distance.
“Not the best when it comes to combat, well minus the farm girl and rainbow haired girl.” She said before beginning to make her way out of the village she was in. “For now, I can finally get out of this place and get to my ship.”
“That might be a problem.” Vi said, which caused the Lesser Fellpool to pause.
“Explain technical support.”
“My fault for not telling you this, but there’s a barrier surrounding the town upon entering it. And said barrier is making it difficult for me to teleport you back to the ship.”
“What about the denchi bunny?”
“Currently back on the ship.”
“Great, so I’ll have to lay low in this place until I can figure out a way to get out of here.”
“I’m afraid so. I’ll try to find a map of this town to see if there’s any escape routes. Till then, try not to get into too much trouble or lay low for a while as you suggested.”
“Wonderful. As if I needed this much trouble for me.” Nelsha said as she brought up her gauntlet and started pressing a few buttons on it. Once she was done, a barrier appeared around her body like a second suit before making itself invisible. “Don’t like using this barrier, but I’ll make an exception seeing how it’ll nullify their ability to use binding symbology on me.”
“Smart move for once on your part.”
“Thanks smartass.” She said before darting off towards the far east part of town. While she was jumping from rooftop to rooftop, Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon were chasing after the Lesser Fellpool that was heading far into town.
“Did you not see what she just did, Silver Spoon?” Diamond asked as her friend nodded while holding up her phone to show her the recording. “Oh, nice job on recording the fight.”
“Thanks...I just can’t believe that girl did that to Princess Twilight and her friends. You think her parents are some kind of secret agents or something?”
“We won’t know until we can try and talk to her.” She said before starting to follow after Nelsha, only to pause once she heard the bell to the school ring. “Ugh, seriously?”
“Looks like we’ll have to put the hunt on hold until after school?” Silver asked as she noticed Diamond walking towards the road that led to the Cheerile’s school.
“For the time being, yes. But this does give me an idea for how we’re going to get that girl.”

Chapter Five: Fate is a Cruel Mistress
Chapter Five
Fate is a Cruel Mistress
“Okay, gotta lay low. That might be hard seeing how my ears and tail stick out more than anyone else in this town.” Nelsha said as she hops from rooftop to rooftop. Just as she lands on a nearby house, a digital screen appeared in front of the lesser fellpool which took her by surprise. “Wow, that was quick Vi.”
“That’s not what I’m pulling up. Finding a place to hide might be a problem on your end.” Vi said as an image with writing. “This is an alert to all citizens in ponyville. Be on the lookout for a young donkey girl. Be warned that she’s carrying weapons of unknown origins along with spells that should be impossible for her to use. It should also be known that she has a broken translation spell on her that needs to be fixed in order to understand her. If you see her, contact the royal guards at once.”
“Seriously? Why do they think I look like a donkey? Do I even look like one?” She asked as she heard Vi trying not to bust out laughing. “Oh fuck you Vi.”
“Sorry, sorry….just that you do tend to be stubborn at times like a mule. Not to mention that if you take away the long tail, you do resemble that of a donkey due to the ears.”
“Oh screw you ya floating bodiless sound bite!” Nelsha yelled as she quickly jumped into an alleyway and carefully sneaked up towards the corner of the alleyway she was in to scan her surroundings. Looking around, she could see people similar to the group she fought off near the castle walking around without a care in the world. “Hm, I might be able to get by around town for a bit before this planet’s police force hunts me down.” She said before putting her hood over her head, though it didn’t cover the ears.
“True, but with the clothes you have on. You’ll stick out like a sore thumb.”
“Well it’s not like I can get back to the ship to change my attire. I’m kinda stuck here until I can find a means to escape the barrier around this town.” She said before casually making her way out of the alleyway and through the streets of Ponyville. As she walked down the street, she noticed some of the humanoid-like ponies glanced at her, mainly at her attire and weapons she was carrying on herself as they looked away and kept their distance from her. “Hiding my stuff is too risky as well. Especially if someone finds them and reports them to this planet’s police.”
“Nice to see you’re taking this seriously. Which is rare given your character.”
“Okay you’re tempting me to mess with your systems settings if you keep being a smartass.”
“That would be a bad idea on your part. Especially given your current situation.” Vi said as the lesser fellpool was about to reply, only for her stomach to growl causing her focus to turn to this. “It would seem that you’re hungry. Though it would make sense seeing how those girls did distract you from getting something to eat.”
“Yeah, but then again there wasn’t a lot to get form the kitchen seeing how a lot of it was plant based food that I couldn’t eat.” Nelsha said before looking around at her surroundings for anything edible to eat. “Fruits and vegetables will tie me over for a time. But even that won’t help me given my kind of species.”
“It’s not that it’s impossible to survive on nothing more than just fruits and vegetables. But given how you’re a rare breed lesser fellpool, you’ll need a source of high protein to sustain your high metabolism. And I doubt you can find bugs that are the size of a horse, or fish of that size...You might be forced to be forced to eat thugs, murderers, or rapists of the inhabitants.”
“Not against the idea, but wouldn’t that cause problems if we decided to be friends with the people of this planet?”
“Your survival and safety is top priority over anything else. If anything were to happen to me, I need to make sure you have the means to survive on your own in a worse case scenario. You’re pretty much the only official person of the Kronos Military in this section of the galaxy we might be in.”
“You...make a valid point. But let's save the eating inhabitants thing as a last resort. I prefer not to have a hunting party come after me….again.” As Nelsha continued going down the street, she would unknowingly walk by two tall guards busy chatting with each other. Just as she walked by them, the humanoid earth pony noticed Nelsha as she motioned to her fellow royal guard pony at the lesser fellpool.
“Isn’t that the kid that Princess Twilight said she was trying to get?” The earth pony asked as the humanoid pegasus squinted his eyes at her.
“I think so Mayday.” The colt pegasus said before reaching into his pocket to pull out a phone and began to read from it. “Given how she has donkey ears, that has to be the kid that she’s looking for.”
“Well come on Brave Heart. Let get the kid before-”
“We can’t just charge in and yank her up like a fish out of water.” He said before carefully pulling away from the wall he was leaning against and began to follow after the lesser fellpool. “We need to follow her and catch her by surprise so that we can restrain her.”
“So pretty much like the time we caught that thief that was pickpocketing ponies pockets three months ago?”
“Yep, I’ll go high, you go low.” Breve Heart said before taking flight into the air and care hid behind the clouds above. While he was doing that, Mayday casually followed after Nelsha while trying not to look like she’s following her.
“Don’t be alarmed, but you’re being followed by two of those humanoid horse beings. One is in the air above the clouds, and another is behind you but is keeping a good distance.” Vi said as Nelsha groaned in annoyance.
“Didn’t take them long to find me out. Any suggestions on how to lose them?”
“Two options. Find a secluded place so you can knock them both out without the citizens of this town taking notice. Or, you can make a break for it and try to lose them. Pros for both is that you’ll have more time to hide and I can gather more information if they have some kind of phone or device on their person. Cons, they might be stronger than you and could get the citizens to join in on the hunting you down.”
“So most likely option one, taking them both out in a secluded place or area. Know of a place to do that?”
“Head down a bit more and make a left around the corner. I suggest taking out the flyer above first, then take out the other by stunning her with your gauntlet.”
“Increase the voltage of my gauntlet so that I can stun them for a good hour or so, and change my setting to my rifle to stun.” She said before hearing the sound of the gauntlet being calibrated as she turned a corner to her left. Once there she noticed that she was in a secluded area that had houses circling around an area with grass in the center of it. The lesser fellpool smirked as she stopped in the middle of the grass. The guards that were following her stopped upon seeing that she stopped as the earth pony quickly hid back behind the corner, while the pegasus was watching carefully from a nearby cloud.
“Settings set. You may now enter combat mode. Also, the flying one is above you. Three inches to the right to be accurate.” Vi said as Nelsha quickly reached for her rifle and shot at the pegasus above her. Brave Heart let’s out a yelp of pain before crashing to the ground face first as he groans from the pain he felt.
“Brave Heart!” Mayday said as Nelsha quickly took aim at the corner she heard the voice was coming from and fired at the earth pony, only for her to quickly take cover behind the corner she was hiding behind.
“Vi, is the translation device fixed?” Nelsha asked as she kept her sights on the earth pony.
“Fifty-five percent repaired. Your language will sound incomplete sentences.”
“But still able to understand...right.”
“Yes, but it’ll be up to them to understand what you’re saying.” Vi said as Nelsha rolled her eyes and turned her focus on the humanoid earth pony.
“You, woman. Why follow me?” She asked, but got no response. The lesser fellpool snorted before firing off another beam over to where Mayday was hiding. “ANSWER! NOW!”
“Don’t shoot!” She said before moving from behind the corner with her hands up. “I surrender, just don’t kill me.”
“Won’t kill. Weapon stun friend. Answer question. Why after me?” Nelsha said while still keeping her rifle locked onto her.
“W-We got a report of a donkey carrying weapons and spells of unknown origin. We were tasked to bring her in so that we can get an understanding and possibly fix your broken translation spell.”
“I'm no donkey. I’m cabbit.” She said before blinking. “Translation spell, do not have. Device to translate broken.”
“Oh please. Everypony knows that you can’t make a device that can translate different languages to equine. Not even the smartest scientist in Canterlot can make something like that...and Cabbit? Really? What kind of a word is that? If you’re going to lie, at least do a better job at it. But then again, you’re just a kid so it would make sense that-” Before she could finish, she heard Nelsha cock her gun which caused her the flinch back a bit. “But who am I to complain, I’m just a guard pony after all!”
“Leave. Take friend. Stun for hour.” She said before motioning her to move to Brave Heart. “Follow me, I shoot.” With that Nelsha quickly bolted it down the street, leaving Brave Heart and Mayday alone as she helped the pegasus up to his feet.
“You okay?”
“My body is pretty much numb from head to toe. Where on equis did that kid get that weapon? Did she steal them from Canterlot research center or something?”
“Isn’t that place like heavily secured or something? Not everypony can go in and out as they please.”
“Well what do we do now?”
“Send a message to Captain Shining Armor and the others. The kid’s heading north of town hall.”
“Got it.” She said before dropping Brave Heart on the ground causing him groan in pain. “Whoops! Sorry!”
[Canterlot]
[Canterlot Castle, Dining Hall]
Within the castle of Canterlot, the two rulers of Equestria would be within the dining hall trying to enjoy the meal that the castle chef prepared for them sitting across from each other. Normally they would enjoy their meal without a problem, but given how Celestia was playing around with her food. Mainly by having it levitate around herself like a moon circling the earth.
“Sister, are you okay?” Luna asked as Celestia let out a sigh of annoyance and disappointment.
“You should know the answer to that question, Luna. Equestria is currently at war with the dragon nation, ponies within our nation are fighting against each other over wages, food and miscellaneous items. And we still have no means to turn the tide of war into our favor.”
“Not to mention that you’re still recovering from the burns you got from the dragon king in the last fight.”
“Which isn’t helping me win the confidence of some of the royals in this city. Other than Fancy Pants and Filthy Rich, the other royals tend to keep their money to themselves and not support the soldiers.” Celestia said as she used her magic to reveal the scars that she received in the previous battle. “I leave the castle for a good two days, and the next thing I know I come back to find that dragons are attacking the city and ponyville because one of the royals slapped the dragon king’s daughter’s face….what is my life?”
“In fairness the blame is mine. I figure that they would keep their composure long enough until the yearly negotiations were over. You think offering the pony that hurt her daughter would be enough?”
“Given the nature of some dragons, they want more than just that. The reason why we were able to last this long is thanks to the barriers that our departed friend left behind for us. Had he not given us the means to make a lot of this stuff you see today, Equestria would be nothing more than scorched earth as he would refer to.”
“But even with the barriers around populated areas of Equestria, we still have no means of breaking through the dragon’s anti-magic scales that they have. And our weapons can’t put a dent in their armor, skin, or scales. Unless we get a miracle from the sky, Equestria is doomed.” Celestia bit her lip in anger as she was about to say something, only for her phone to vibrate.
“Excuse me for a second Luna.” Celestia said before reaching into her pocket to pull out her phone to see a message on it. “....Sister...could you check your phone? It seems that Twilight has found somepony new in Ponyville.” She said as Luna pulled out her phone to see what she meant, only to blink upon seeing the message and a picture of Nelsha’s face on it. After looking it over for a good couple of seconds, she looks over at Celestia with a somewhat deadpan expression.
“....Celestia….this kid doesn’t look like a donkey. Especially given the child’s tail and rabbit ears....You don’t think she’s another visitor like he was...right?”
“That would depend on what this child has to say if Twilight can get her...Which I have a feeling that would be difficult on her end.”
“Should we assist Princess Twilight? The child might be dangerous if the letter Twilight sent is accurate.”
“Alright, then I shall-”
“No, you’re not going to go down there. Especially with those burn marks on your body.”
“I’m not that injured to hunt down a child….that sounded wrong, but you get what I mean.”
“Just let Twilight and her friends handle this. I’m sure they’ll capture the child in no time. I’ll even send Twilight’s brother to assist her.” Luna said as Celestia sigh in annoyance as she leans back in her seat.
“....I hate being a ruler. Why couldn’t I have been born into a common simple life.”
“You can thank our parents for giving us the responsibility of looking after the country of Equestria before assigning somepony else to do it at the time before their death.”
“Right...thanks parents….you jerks!” Celestia said sarcastically as Luna let out a slight chuckle. “Fine, I’ll leave it to Twilight and the guards. But if there isn’t progress made by tomorrow, then I’m going to but in.”
“And how are you going to do that?”
“Simple my little sister. We’re going to have a little bit of a hunting game between the two of us~?”

Chapter Six
Running from the Fuzz
[Ponyville]
“She’s heading down the street! Don’t let her get away!” yelled a royal guard as he along with a squad of earth ponies and pegassi chase after the lesser fellpool down the streets of Ponyville.
“Leave alone! Stop following me!” Nelsha yelled as she quickly jumped onto a nearby wall and began to climb it until she was on the roof of the house she was climbing. Once on the roof, she quickly reached for her rifle and shot down three pegasi heading towards her as they crashed to the ground like a ton of bricks. “Should’ve stun those two instead of letting them go.”
“In fairness, it might help you out in showing that you’re not a killer or a monster in their eyes.” Vi said as Nelsha shot down two more pegasi trying to fly behind her in an attempt to grab her from behind. “Though this might be a problem in your case. Especially given how your hunger might get the better of you.”
“No kidding. This is going to be a war of attrition, and they’ll end up winning it due to their numbers.” She said before quickly running away by hopping from rooftop to rooftop. “Vi, I need a place to hide out until nightfall. Please tell me that you were able to scan the layout of this town?”
“I was able to. Seeing how the security system on this planet isn’t that great.” He said as he showed a digital screen appeared in front of Nelsha showing a three dimensional model of Ponyville. “There are some vacant houses off northwest of town. You’ll need to lose the cops chasing after you, otherwise they’ll end up looking in the area you’ll be hiding in.”
“Got it.” Nelsha made the screen disappear as she reached into her pocket to pull out a white ball. “Flash Grenade don't fail me now.” She soon looked back at the group following her as she jumped onto the ground and waited. “Are they still following me close to each other?”
“Yes.”
“Good.” The lesser fellpool squinted her eyes at the group of humanoid earth ponies and pegasi guards heading towards her. Once they were close, she quickly pressed on the white ball and tossed it in front of the group. Once they and the ball were inches away from each other, Nelsha turned around to continue to run down the street as the ball she threw exploded into a burst of light. Both earth pony and pegasi pony humanoids cried out in pain from going blind from the light for a moment as each of them toppled over each other, crashed into and through nearby shops, homes, and empty houses. “Please tell me they’re not dead?”
“No, but they’ll be sore later on due to crashing and being stunned. But now would be the time to run. Because that flash bomb’s effect isn’t going to last long.”
“Yeah, I know. Can’t stay in the same area or else I’ll get-” Just as she jumped in mid-air to hop onto the next house, the lesser fellpool felt herself being hit by hard with enough force to knock the wind out of her as she was sent flying into a nearby tree. “Caught….fucking hell.”
“Warning, unknown magic heading your way.”
“A bit late for the warning asshole!” Nelsha said while gasping for air and trying to pull herself up from the ground after crashing into said tree. “The hell just hit me?”
“Given the properties of magic I’m detecting. I’m going to assume it was a wind spell from a unicorn.” He said as Nelsha’s ears picked up the sound of someone walking towards her. “Seems like the person that hit you is near.” Nelsha looked up to see a dark skin humanoid unicorn, cladded in purple armor walking up towards her with his horn glowing.
“Sorry kid, but your little running spree is over.” he said as some of the guard slowly began to circle around the two. “Care to explain why you all were having a problem capturing this child? Not to mention why she has weapons on her?”
“We tried to capture Captain Shining Armor, but she kept hitting us with a paralysis spell from that weapon of hers.” One of the guards said as he turned his attention on Nelsha who was starting to pull herself up.
“Vi, suggestion please?” Nelsha whispered while keeping her eyes on the knight.
“Two suggestions. You can go beast mode, but that would cause your hunger to grow. Or you can use your Radiation bots to knock them out.”
“Does the barrierI have on protect me from being levitated?”
“Yeah, it’ll protect you from physical and magical attacks.”
“Alright, radiation bots it is then.” She said before jumping onto one of the tree’s branches and lunging herself into the air.
“Don’t let her escape!” Shining Armor yelled as three humanoid pegasi flew after her, only to fall to the ground in a matter of seconds. The lesser fellpool landed behind the group that circled her and Shining armor as they would see five floating orbs appearing behind her. Once she lands on a nearby house, she uses the orbs to fire a barrage of paralysis lasers at the group. Shining Armor quickly summoned up a barrier to protect himself and some of the soldiers he had with him, but some were taken down that weren’t close to him at the time he summoned the barrier as they fell to the ground.
“Not the result I was looking for, but it’ll have to do.” She said before jumping from the roof of the house she landed on and bolted it down the street. As she does this, she hears the sounds of footsteps from behind as she can see Shining Armor chasing after her at breakneck speed. “Vi, he’s chasing after me! How is that possible!?”
“I’ll have to look up on how later, but I can only assume that he’s the captain of the ponies that were trying to capture you. It also doesn’t help that he’s fellpool with horse DNA in him given the equine ears and tail.”
“Of course that would be the reason.” Nelsha said as she looked behind to see Shining Armor catching up to her as she noticed his horn starting to glow. “Dammit. If he is a captain, then trying to shake him off my tail is going to be a pain.” She said before using the bots to fire paralysis lasers at him. Shining Armor quickly summoned up a shield made out of magic in front of himself as some of the beams bounced off of it and nearly hit the lesser fellpool.
“Might not want to do that, seeing how certain magic and redirect light like that.” Vi said as Nelsha made the bots disappear. “You're a good distance away from the others that were chasing you and you’re halfway near the location you need to be in. I recommend taking him out. And by that I mean knocking him out.”
“You think I can take down a captain?”
“55% chance of being able to do so. Remember, you do have a barrier around yourself that nullifies symbology & physical attacks and ailments. But be warned, this will increase your hunger due to how much energy you’ll be putting in into fighting him.”
“Not like I have much of a choice in this matter.” She said before unsheathing her, quickly slides while turning around, and quickly lunges herself at him in an attempt to knock him out by using the flat part of her sword to his head. Shining Armor’s eyes widen upon seeing her coming at him as he quickly pulls out his sword and parries the attack off to the side, causing Nelsha to land behind him as she takes up a fighting stance. Shining Armor glared at the lesser fellpool as he took up the same stand as she was, only he would have a shield summed in one hand and a sword in the other hand.
“You really don’t want to do this kid. Surrender now so this doesn’t get out of hand.” Shining Armor ordered as Nelsha only replied by lunging at him in an attempt to knock him out again with the flat of her blade. The unicorn humaniod quickly brought his shield to parry her attack over to the side, and countered with hitting her in the stomach with the pummel of his sword. The pummel of his sword made contact with the barrier around her body as it caused his arm to recoil backwards, and for the lesser fellpool to retaliate with a roundhouse kick to his face causing him to stagger over to the side. “....was not expecting you to have a magical barrier around yourself.” He said before blading her with a magical beam, only for the barrier to nullify it.
“Magical & physical attacks not work.” Nelsha said while lifting a hand at Shining Armor causing a dark symbology symbol to appear as she fired a barrage of shadow needles at him. The unicorn humanoid’s eyes widened upon seeing this as he quickly brought his shield up to protect him from the spell only for him to counter with the same wind spell from before as she was sent flying backwards into the wall of a nearby house.
“Interesting, seems that the barrier can protect you from the physical aspect of certain magical spells, but not the force behind it...I’ll have to make a mental note on that and upgrade it when you can escape from this town.” Vi said as the lesser fellpool staggered to her feet. “You need to be careful of him using that spell or anything that has enough force to knock you off your feet. The barrier may protect you, but it can also cause you harm depending on what you crash into.”
“Y-Yeah, I kinda figured as much.” She said before noticing Shining Armor fired off the same wind spell as before as she quickly jumps to the side to avoid and counters by casting a spell upon him. “Mute the voice of the wicked caster, Silence!” A medium size circle appeared underneath Shining Armor’s feet as he didn’t notice it until he tried to cast another wind spell. Just as he was about to fire it, the spell and the magic gathered in his horn vanished within a second.
“What the-” Before he could finish, the lesser fellpool tapped the side of her boots and rocketed herself over to Shining Armor and delivered a knee kick to his head. The knee kick caused the humanoid unicorn to let out a yell of pain as he was sent tumbling backwards into a nearby bush. Once the lesser fellpool landed on the ground, she quickly sheathed her sword, pulled out her rifle, and fired upon him in an attempt to paralyse him. Just as Shining Armor was pulling himself up, he noticed the laser blast heading towards him as he brought up his shield and deflected it off to the side.
“Dammit, this guy is really pissing me off.” She said before quickly placing her rifle back onto the holster on her back. “No choice. Guess I’ll have to go beast mode on his ass. Or a least partial beast mode.” The pupils in Nelsha’s eyes became cat-like as her nails and teeth became sharp and pointy as she lunges herself at him again. Once she was close, she raised her right arm. As she did this it grew big and was quickly covered in fur as she brought it down towards his face to punch him.
Shining Armor’s eyes widened upon seeing this as he brought his shield up to protect himself from the punch, only for the shield to shatter into pieces as her punch collided with his face as the force behind it sent him flying through an apple cart being pulled by Big Mac and into Sugarcube Corner.
“....I think you overdid it with that punch.” Vi said as Nelsha rolled her eyes.
“Hey I’m trying to knock the guy out. This was the only option I can think of at the time...is he still alive?” She asked before noticing seeing a blood covered, armor dented, and pastry covered knight stagger out of the sugarcube corner with an enraged expression on his face. “He’s still standing!?”
“And pissed off from the look of it.” He said before noticing a blue aura appeared around Shining Armor’s body. “Warning, the enemy’s strength and magic has increased.”
“By how much?” She asked as she saw Shining Armor vanish in a blink of an eye before appearing behind her as sent her tumbling forwards from being with the sheath of his sword. He soon appeared in front of the lesser fellpool as he hit her again, causing her to tumble backwards from the force behind the strike. He soon appeared above as he landed on top of her, causing her to let out a yell of pain from being slammed into the ground and cough up from blood from the force behind the attack.
“Not to sound like a smartass, but by that much from what he did to you in both speed and strength.” Vi said as he watched Shining Armor step off of the knocked out lesser fellpool and pull her up by the hood part of her clothes.
“Just who or what are you?” Shining Armor asked as he examined Nelsha closely. “The reports said that you were a donkey, but what kind of donkey have claws and fangs-” Before he could finish, Nelsha’s eyes shot open as she brought up her beast-like claw and strikes at Shining Armor’s face. The pain from her attack caused him to release his hold onto her hood as she soon took this opportunity to deliver a powerful punch to his abdomen, causing him to let out a gasp of air from feeling the wind knocked out of him as he was sent flying back into Sugarcube Corner, only this time it was through the wall of the building.
“Take that you son of a bitch!” Nelsha yelled before falling to her knees and coughing up some blood. “Fucking hell that guy was a pain.”
“Nice work on playing dead to lower his guard. But now’s not the time to rest. You need to head off to where you need to go so you can heal yourself. Because right now I’m sensing internal damage from when he stomped on you. Nothing major, but I prefer not to have it get any worse later on.” He said as Nelsha slowly pulled herself up, tapped the side of her boots, and flew off towards the area with the empty houses that she can hide out in.

Reconnasissance
Canterlot
Canterlot Castle
“So you’re suggesting that we place a bet on seeing who will capture the alien child?” Luna asked as Celestia nodded.
“A secret beg. Just like we did five-hundred years ago when he came here. You remember how he ended up in a rather sticky situation, no?” Celestia asked while trying not to laugh.
“I….mistaken him as a new recruit and had him join the royal guards...in hindsight. It should’ve been obvious that he wasn’t a pegasus when his wings were that of a bird and not made out of magic like how every pegasi wings are.”
“Still can’t believe it took you a year to figure that out. It didn’t help that you were hitting on him and he was oblivious to that.” She said as Luna blushed and glared at her.
“Can we get back to the topic at hand!?” Luna asked while trying to compose herself from embarrassment. “So how shall this hunting game play out?”
“Like we did before. Only this time, I’m placing my bits on Twilight and her friends to get her.”
“Going with the elements of harmony this time huh? Alright, then I’ll place my bits on Shining Armor and The Royal Guards.”
“Lunar or Solar?”
“Both this time. We have a small platoon of Solar and Lunar guard ponies patrolling the town due to the raid from the dragon last month. Not to mention that the barrier is around the town, so she’ll have no place else to run or escape.”
“That’s what you said last time when he appeared in Canterlot. And yet he was able to escape.”
“This time it’s different! Now, are we going to do this or not!?” Luna asked as she made a hand out of magic appear in front of Celestia. The older dark skinned alicorn smirks as she shakes the hand made out of magic.
“Alright, you got a deal. May the best mare win.” She said before feeling her phone vibrate. Celestia reaches into her pocket to pull out her phone to see a message on it, which causes her to snort in amusement. “Looks like I’m in the lead for this bet. Shining Armor is currently being taken to the hospital for injuries done by the alien.” Luna blinked upon seeing this as she pulled out her own phone just as Celestia sent her the message she received. “So far he only suffered from a deep gash to his face, a broken leg, and a broken right eye socket.”
“....Is it too late to change my bet?”
“Yeah it’s too late to change the bet.” She said before summoning up a crystal white orb that had Nelsha flying through the air. “Now let’s watch and see how far she can go before getting caught.”
[Ponyville]
[Castle of Friendship]
“Twilight! We have a huge problem!” Spike yelled as he busted through the doors that led to the map room.
“Spike, how many times have I told you? I’m not your personal magic detector for when you lose your comic books.” Twilight said as the young dragon simply ran up to her and showed him a news report on his phone.
“No, that’s not it...this time. Shining Armor made contact with the girl and got his flank handed to him by her.” He said which caused everyone in the room to gasp in shock upon hearing this.
“But...how!? She’s just a kid. How can a donkey take him out like that?” Rainbow Dash asked as she floated over to Twilight to see what was on the phone.
“I don’t think she’s a donkey Rainbow Dash. Somepony was able to record part of the fight taking place. Mainly the part when she transformed her arm and sent Twilight’s brother flying into Sugarcube Corner.” He said as Twilight played the video, causing the girls to wince upon seeing him get punched in the face and sent flying.
“...So Pinkie Pie was right about the kid being an alien?” Rarity asked only to yelp upon hearing the sounds of a horn and confetti erupting from behind her as Pinkie Pie appeared behind her.
“I’m back!”
“Pinkie, where have you been?” Applejack asked as the party pony pulled out a large banner with Nelsha’s face on it.
“Well I was preparing a party for the alien over at Sugarcube Corner, but that got ruined due to Shining Armor flying in and crashing into the giant cake I had for Nelsha.”
“Wait you know the alien’s name?” Rainbow Dash asked as Pinkie nodded.
“Yeah, her name was on that weird gun looking thing. So I figure why not throw her a big surprise party to welcome her to planet Equis!”
“Pinkie, now’s not the time to-”
“Actually, that might work.” Twilight said as she interrupted Rainbow Dash’s sentence.
“Wait, you want to throw the alien a surprise?” Starlight asked as Twilight shook her head.
“No, I was more thinking of luring her out with food. What do all kids love to eat?” She asked which caused everyone to look at each other, thinking that they might know the answer but would be wrong. “Sweet stuff, like cake.”
“So you want to set a trap for the alien with cake?” Fluttershy asked as Twilight nodded.
“With all the running Nelsha’s been doing due to my brother and some of the guards in town, she must be hungry by now. So why not lure her out with a cake laced with a sleeping potion.”
“But how do we know that she’ll even eat it? She might now be like how we are and could be a meat eater.” Starlight asked as it caused Twilight to think for a moment.
“Starlight’s right. From what we notice, she does have fangs and claws like a cat.” Applejack added.
“Hm, Fluttershy. How much fish do you have for when you have to feed your bear friend?”
“Tons. I always make sure to keep some in my refrigerator so that he has enough to eat for when he has to go into hibernation.” Fluttershy answered as Twilight looked over at Pinkie Pie.
“Pinkie, you remember that cake made out of fish that you made to celebrate the bear’s birthday?” She asked as the party pony nodded. “Think you can make that again?”
“Already got that taken care of.” She said before reaching into her hair to pull out said cake. “I made a second one just in case something like this would happen, or in case I forget the bear’s birthday and I forgot to bake him a cake in time.”
“....Okay how is she able to do that?” Starlight asked as everyone minus Pinkie Pie replied in union.
“It’s Pinkie Pie, don’t question it.”
“Um...okay then.” Starlight said before looking over at Twilight. “S-So where are we going to set the trap?”
“Well if I was in her shoes, then I would be off near the vacant house off to the west side of town. We’ll set off a trail of fish for her to eat, then when she sees the cake she’ll end up eating it and pass out.”
“Um, not to interrupt your planning girls. But why don’t you, oh I don’t know. Just try to go talk to her and not try to freak her out?” Spike asked which caused everyone in the room to look over at Twilight.
“I mean, Spike does have a point. I mean for all we know, she might be scared of us more than we are of her
“Spike, you saw what she did to our brother right? Not to mention what she did to Applejack and Starlight at the hospital and what happened in front of the castle. We can’t take the risk of her using those weapons and accidentally kill somepony that might come across her.”
“For all we know, she might’ve been sent here by an evil alien army just to invade us.” Rainbow Dash said as Pinkie Pie gasp.
“It’ll be just like war of the worlds! Only with an army of aliens like her!” She said which caused Spike & Starlight to deadpan.
“Look, once we take away her weapons we’ll have a nice civilise talk with each other. Right now we need to be sure she doesn’t cause trouble for anypony else.”
“Fine, but all I will say is that I told you so when this plan of yours goes south.” He said before walking out of the room. “If you need me, I’ll be heading to the kitchen to make something for your return.”
“Okay girls, we should head out now before night falls. It’ll be much harder for us to find her seeing how she’ll use the cover of night to stay hidden.” Twilight said as the girls nodded in agreement.
[Ponyville]
[Streets of Ponyville]
Nelsha lands a few feet in front of a large vacant house that she could guess was new as she looks around to see if anyone was following her. She soon let out a sigh of relief upon seeing the coast was cleared as she staggered over into a nearby bush, took off the armor plate, and lifted her shirt to see a purple bruise on her abdomen area.
“Dammit, that jerk really did a number on me even with the armor on.” She said as her hand glowed green as she cast healing on the area she was injured. “Vi, how are the repairs going on my translator?”
“75% repaired. They’ll be able to understand what you’re saying now, but it will take some time to translate any other language that isn’t english.”
“Well lets just hope we don’t run into someone that doesn’t speak english.” She said before looking at the house she landed at. “Think this place will do for a safe house?”
“Give me a second.” Vi said before pulling up a small screen in front of the lesser fellpool with a model of the house. “So far no one hasn’t claimed this house. Nor do I see anyone claiming it anytime soon.”
“Perfect, then I can set up my bae of operation here instead of the forest.”
“Wouldn’t it be wise to make it outside of this town?”
“It’s not like I can leave this place. Not to mention the forest is out of the question seeing how that crazy bug woman is there. And I prefer to keep the sewer option for last if my safe house is compromised.”
“Fair point.” He said as Nelsha quickly walked over to the front door and started jimmying the lock with her claw. In a matter of seconds, the door opened up as she quickly headed inside and closed the door behind herself.
“Wow, looks like I hit the jackpot with this.” She said before examining the inside of the house. “Vi, are you able to send me the safe house cube?”
“Already on it.” He said as a blue cube appeared in front of the lesser fellpool as she grabbed it. “An update. During my scans of this planet’s internet, I have discovered a lot about this planet.”
“Really? Like what?” Nelsha asked as she pressed a few buttons on the small cube before placing it on the floor. Upon doing that, the cube sank into the floor as blue circuit lines appeared around the room, furniture, and appliances as they quickly changed their appearances in second.
“This world is very similar to the planet earth back in the year 20XX with a mix of magic and technology. We are currently in the country of Equestria, home to the largest population of humanoid-horse people. Or ponies as they’re called themselves on this planet called Equis.” Vi said as Nelsha took a seat on the couch while taking off her boots, weapons, and armor as she sighs in comfort. “The current ponies that are in charge of this country are named Princess Celestia, ruler/princess of the sun. Princess Luna, princess of the moon. Princess Cadence. ruler of the Crystal Empire and princess of love. And the newest princess added to the list. Princess Twilight Sparkle, princess of Friendship, wielder of the element of magic, leader of the elements of harmony, and the girl you pretty much ran away from.” He said before showing her an image of the four princesses.
“...Well shit. I get the feeling that I’m going to get in trouble later on.”
“That would be if they catch you. There are four types of ponies. Earth Ponies, Unicorns, Pegasi, and Alicorn.” He said before showing her an image of the four different types of humanoid ponies. “To tell them apart from each other, Pegasi can make wings out of magic appear on their backs. Unicorns can materialize their horns when they are about to use their magic. Alicorns are the same like unicorns and pegasi when using magic or flying. Earth Ponies...well they’re an odd buch. Originally, earth ponies can’t use magic of any kind. But 500 years later, they along with a few groups of pegasi could perform magic thanks to magical rune markings placed on their bodies. To tell when an earth pony is using magic is when you see magical lines appear on their body. It should be noted that even though some of them can’t perform magic, they still have the rune symbols on their bodies that can be activated.”
“Hm, having a body to be able to support and perform Symbology. The science nerds back home would have a field day upon learning that there are possible new recruits that can perform Symbology. What are the methods and activation of these runes?”
“The runes are placed through a ritual called “The Coming of Age” as they say. Princess Celestia, Luna, and Cadence are the ones in charge of the ritual. By using stones and a book of unknown origin, and perform a magical surgery by placing the magical energy from the stones and into the host’s body. Then place the runes on their body. The process is pain due to how it’s literally using a laser to implant the runes underneath the skin….a very poor job at that if I’m being honest.”
“What makes you say that?”
“Well it’s mainly because from what I looked up, they screwed up on the procedure. Mainly because the runes they’re picking are incomplete. Hence why some of the pegasi and earth ponies can and can’t use magic.”
“I guess that would make sense. So basically if they were to get it right with the assistance of the tools Kronos has.”
“Then they’ll be able to perform Symbology like you can. You might be able to test that theory out if you can get one and finish up the work where the princesses failed.”
“Yeah, I’ll do that when I’m not being hunted down by The My Morphing Pastel Power Rangers.”
“Interesting fact, that’s an actual show on this planet.”
“Wait, seriously?” Nelsha asked as Vi showed her an image of a humanoid pony version of the power rangers. “Huh, I’ll have to look into that later. Anyway what about the barrier around this town?”
“The barriers are due to the fact that Equestria is currently at war with another country called the Dragon Nation.” He said before showing an image of a humanoid with dragon-like features.
“Huh, while the ponies of Equestria have a knightish theme for their soldiers, the dragons have a vikingish theme going for them. Then again, dragons do have scales on their body that protect them from magic and certain physical attacks. What other countries are there on this planet?”
“We have the Equestria or Pony Nation, Dragon Nation, Kirin Nation, Griffon Nation, Yak Nation, Changeling Nation, and Hippogriff Nation.” Vi answered as he showed an image of what each one of the nation’s inhabitants look like. Though she soon focuses her attention on the two different Changelings off side by side of each other.
“Wait, why are there two different changelings there?”
“From what I looked up, there are factions within the changeling nation. Ones that are willing to share their love with others, and ones that are not. The ones that we encountered in the forest are the ones that were on the side that weren’t willing to share love with others.”
“Okay, that makes sense. Can you look up as to why the ponies and dragons are at war with each other?” Nelsha asked as Vi showed a news article of a humanoid pony slapping a humanoid dragon on the face.
“Apparently it’s because of some rich pony slapping the face of the daughter of the dragon king. Thanks to that, it sparked a war between the two...and it’s not looking so well for the ponies.” Vi said before showing the anatomy of a humanoid dragon. “The dragons have a high resistance to magic and weapons based on magic. And seeing how this country relies on magic for almost everything.”
“They’re pretty much losing the war because they don’t have the means to win this.”
“Correct, it also doesn’t help that they don’t have any allies from the other nations to assist them. They’re on their own.”
“...This simply won’t do.”
“What do you mean?”
“So far by every logic, this planet will be the perfect place to form a partnership with. Especially seeing how the ponies can make a barrier like this around the town. That shows they can learn and adapt.”
“You’re suggesting that we help them out with this?” Vi asked as Nelsha headed into the kitchen.
“Well we do have a ship that can strike from space, no? So why not use that to assist them from space?”
“Well...you do have a point. But we would have to talk to the rulers of this country before doing that. We wouldn’t want them to think you’re a threat or anything.”
“Fair enough...But we’ll have to figure out how to get out of here.” She said as she opens the refrigerator as she deadpans upon seeing that it was empty. “Think you can teleport some food down here?”
“I would, but the barrier is causing problems for organic materials to be teleported down to where you are.”
“Yet you have no problem with sending tech down here?”
“Inorganic matter isn’t a problem seeing as I don’t have to worry about their molecular structure changing into some godly abomination. Need I remind you about what happened to that jerk of a partner they assigned you with?” Vi said as it caused Nelsha to shiver at the memory.
“Don’t remind me. I told that cocky idiot to follow protocol. But no, he ended up not waiting for maintenance to finish calibrating the teleporter for two and he ended up becoming a giant blob with his organs outside of his body. But I see what you mean.” She said before closing the door to the refrigerator. “Scan around this town and see if this place has meat of any kind.”
“Scanning…Found a place that has meat for you to eat...but it might be risky.”
“What do you mean by that?”
“....Hope you’re up for going back to school, because that’s where you’re going for your meat.”

Contact with Inhabitants
[Ponyville]
[Ponyville School of Magic and Friendship]
The school bell rang as students from the school of magic and friendship began to exit to either head back to their homes in ponyville, or made their way to certain areas around the school due to clubs or after school sports activities. Just as the last few students left the school, Nelsha quickly climbed up the side wall of the school before reaching the rooftop of it. She began scanning the area for a moment before noticing a vent leading into the school.
“Deja Vu all over again. Only this time I’m not in a hospital.” She said before walking over to the vent. Once there she pulled out her sword and carefully used it to cut the hatch open like a knife cutting through butter. Just as she finished, the hatch fell onto the floor of the roof as she quickly crawled inside of the vent and began making her way through the ventilation system of the school. “I can’t believe you’re having me go into a school to get what I need for food...wait, how come this place has meat?”
“The school has a foreign exchange program that it was going to continue, but due to war that’s taking place they can’t really send them back without the dragons shooting their ships and aircrafts down with hellfire.”
“Makes sense when you think about it. Don’t want the other nations to unleash hell upon you like the dragons are doing. Hey, I’m heading into the right direction right?”
“Yes, just make a left turn and you’ll be right above the room where they keep the meat for the griffon, hippogriff, and dragon.” Vi said as Nelsha did as instructed. Upon seeing the hatch, she slowly pulls at it and places it off to the side before jumping down into the giant refrigerator.
“Jackpot. This will last me for a good couple of days if I can make sure they don’t notice some of their meat missing. Vi, send me a storage unit so I can put this stuff inside it and carry it home.” She said as a small orb appeared in her hand. Once she had it, she began to look around and picked out meat that she could eat while occasionally taking bites out of the meat she picked and put into the storage unit. “Mhm~! Sweet merciful god this tastes good! I haven’t had something this good since the time Katarina offered to give me meat each time I go an A plus on my exams when I was still in boot camp with the Kronos Military.”
“From what I can pick up from scanning this along with the information I was able to gather from this school upon entering, this is meat from a beast called a Manticore.”
“The hell’s a manticore?” She asked as the AI pulled up a digital screen to show her what one looks like. “...Wow. Who pissed off god to make that thing?”
“Don’t know, but that’s where the meat is from. So far they would have to clean the poison off the meat by letting it soak in antidote before serving it. What with manticores being poisonous and all. But you can eat it with no problem.”
“Hm, I might be able to use that poison for some of my weapons. But for now I’ll just focus on getting the food supply.” She said before finishing up while munching on a piece she was eating as she was making her way out of the room and into what she could guess was the kitchen connected to the cafeteria. “Guess this must be the kitchen. And seeing how this is the kitchen of the school, the cafeteria would be over in front of me.” The lesser fellpool crouch down onto the floor to scan the area. Upon doing that, she would see a mixed group of humanoid ponies, dragon, yak, griffon, dragon, and a bright color changeling.
“It would appear that you found the foriegn exchange students I mention...and also the two girls that you saved from the pack of dogs.” He said as Nelsha peeked through the small window of the door connecting to the kitchen to watch their conversation.
“Alright, we all know why we’re here right?” Diamond Tiara asked as the group shrugged or shook their heads.
“You just sent us a message saying to meet you in the cafeteria after school.” Smolder said as she folded her arms. “So why did you call us here again?”
“I found a solution to our problem dealing with that queen of bitches.”
“You mean Flurry Heart? You do know that no one in this school can beat her right. We even tried to fight her eleven on one and we still got our asses handed to us.” Scootaloo said as he jerks a thumb at Button Mash. “Poor Button Mash still got burn marks on his ass from her using Smolder as a flamethrower.”
“Yeah, it doesn’t hurt...but it’s embarrassing to have others see it.” Button Mash said as he lowered his head in shame and embarrassment.
“Look the reason we couldn’t beat her was because we don’t have a trainer to train us. But I know someone that can help us in training so we can beat that stuck up jerk of a princess.”
“And who would that be?” Gallus asked. “What? You got your parents to hire a trainer for us?”
“Nope, we’re going to get the alien to help us.” Diamond Tiara said as the group stared at her as if she was crazy. “What?”
“.....Did you fall on your head or something?” Sweetie Belle asked which caused Diamond to glare at her. “You do know that she’s a wanted criminal, right?”
“Not to mention what she did to my sister and her friends?” Apple Bloom added. “For all we know, the royal guards might’ve caught her by now.”
“Did you not see the video posted a few hours about how he mopped the floor of Prince Shining Armor? He’s in the hospital after being thrown through the walls of Sugarcube Corner.” Silver Spoon said which caused Diamond Tiara to show the apple farmer the video of the fight between Nelsha and Shining Armor. “We need someone like her to help us knock that high and mighty Princess off her throne of this school. Maybe then she’ll stop being a jerk towards others. Mainly us for what the dragons did to her father.”
“Which again, not my fault the dragons decided to attack Equestria. But no, they still blame me for something that I had nothing to do with.”
“Well it’s no surprise. A lot of the ponies in this school lost their families in the war between the ponies and dragons. So they’ll end up putting their frustration on someone that can’t fight back.” Gullas said which caused Smolder to sigh. “No offense or anything.”
“See this is another reason why we need to be up top in this school. Ponies might be willing to leave us alone. When we formed this club it was mainly because we have a lot in common.” Diamond Tiara said before standing on top of the table they were sitting at. “Each one of us are basically rejected among our respected classes in this society. We made a lot of progress on our own in this school. Apple Bloom with her growth potion that no one else has ever made before. And she’s an earth pony. Silver Spoon coming in first and winning the national spelling bee in Canterlot. Smolder, you came in first place in the battle tournament with Yona. Even when the other team was cheating.”
“Yona wasn’t going to lose to cheating ponies. It was worth being poisoned and in the hospital for a month.” The yak said with a triumphant grin on her face while Smolder rolled her eyes with a small smile forming on her face.
“See! Even Button Mash kicked the two bullies' asses and figured out how to activate his ability to use magic.” The light pink earth pony as it causes the brown colt to blush in embarrassment. “This alien might be the key in making us stronger. Once we figure out where she’s hiding, we’ll ask her for her help.” She said as Nelsha pulled herself away from the door.
“Seems like they’re the rejects of this school.” Vi said as Nelsha covered her head with the hood part of her outfit. “What are you doing?”
“I’m planning on helping them out. What does it look like?”
“...You do know that this is a bad idea. What makes you think they won’t turn you into the royal guards.”
“I’m pretty sure I can hold my own against the royal guards as you saw. Not to mention their captain in command is in the hospital. Besides, this could be a good opportunity to see if we can fix up the Symbology symbols on their bodies.”
“...I suppose...They don’t seem to be hostile...just be careful.”
“Oh please, since when have I ever been careful?”
“....No comment on that. Going back to repairing the translator.”
“Smartass.” Nelsha said before sneaking into the open area of the cafeteria while hiding underneath the tables.
“Nice speech and all. But how do you suppose we find this alien?” Silverstream asked as Nelsha slowly crept upon the hippogriff. “I mean it’s not like she’ll just appear behind me or something?”
“I wouldn’t be too sure about that.” Nelsha said as it caused the hippogriff to yelp in fear as she quickly flew behind Yona. The group themselves were taken by surprise upon seeing the lesser fellpool standing in front of them as she eyed the group up and down before looking at Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. “Hey, I remember you two. I saved you from that pack of wild dogs this morning.”
“Y-Your the alien from what’s been posted on the news?” Sweetie Belle asked as Yona tilted her head out of curiosity.
“Huh, Yona was kinda expected alien to be...well taller and more weird looking.” The yak said as Nelsha deadpanned at her.
“For the record, not all aliens look the same as you might imagine. Plus I’m only fifthteen so that might also be noted.”
“Wait, you’re fifthteen?” Scootaloo asked as the lesser fellpool nodded. “How the hay are you able to take down Shining Armor like that. Not even we could do that when he wanted to test some of the students here...wait you’re not here to try and take over Equestria are you?”
“Or worse, the entire world of Equis!?” SIlverstream added as Nelsha rolled her eyes.
“Okay that’s racist towards aliens...Granted some might do that, I don’t. I’m...well kinda stuck here on this planet until I can find a way back to the Kronos Military. Allow me to introduce myself.” She said before taking her hood off to reveal her face. “My name is Nelsha Atlus. I’m a soldier/seeker of the Kronos Military. Care to tell me who you all are?”
“U-Um, nice to meet you Nelsha. M-My name is-”
“Diamond Tiara.” Nelsha said, interrupting the earth pony as she looked at the others and called out their names in the order they’re sitting. “The others are named Silver Spoon, Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, Scootaloo, Sandbar, Button Mash, Yona, Silverstream, and Ocellus.” She said which caught everyone off guard.
“How did you know our names?” Ocellus asked as the lesser fellpool pulled up a digital screen to show them their information.
“Vi pretty much helped me with getting the name from the school’s internet storage. He didn’t go into your personal information, just your names and what you look like. Not gonna lie, your security system is not that good when it comes to an AI hacking into it.”
“....Okay, I’m not gonna lie, but that’s pretty.” Button Mash said before an idea appeared into his head. “Hey, you think you can get that...Vi pony to change a few grades on my report card?” He asked which caused Sweetie Belle to slap him on the shoulder. “What? I’m just asking.”
“Forget what he said. He can change the grade himself by studying instead of playing video games constantly.” Sweetie Belle said before looking back at Nelsha. “You said you’re a soldier and seeker. I mean I can see the soldier part after seeing what you did with Shining Armor on the video that somepony posted online, but what does the seeker part mean?”
“What are you a star seeker that looks at stars or something?” Smolder asked as Nelsha shook her head.
“My job as a seeker is to explore unknown worlds and help determine if it's inhabitants can become allies with Kronos. So far from what I have gathered, this planet, well this country is added to the list of for Kronos to form an alliance with. Especially seeing how the ponies are smart enough to make barriers like this without the need of magic.”
“So, you’re not planning to take over the world?” Silverstream asked as the lesser fellpool rolled her eyes in annoyance.
“No, of course not. We’re a peacekeeping military that grows by forming alliances with other planets. In exchange for their help, Krono is willing to help them advance their world’s technology. That is if they’re up for it. We don’t force our tech onto the inhabitants and if they want to stay the way they are, then we let them and keep a ship near the planet in case someone tries to attack it. Though it might be difficult to do this in my case.”
“What makes you say that?” Sandbar asked.
“Long story short, got into a space fight with space pirates, ended up going through a wormhole, and ended up here. Lost in an unknown section of space with no means of telling where I am, nor can I get in contact with Kronos HQ or the battleship I was on during that time. So I’m pretty much stuck here for who knows how long.” She said before noticing worried expressions on their faces. Mainly due to the fact that she might be stuck here for a very long time. “But I’m sure someone will find me with the beacon I have set up on my ship. So here’s hoping for that.”
“...Wait, you’re pretty much our age, which is fifthteen years old...how can a military so advanced that they let someone like you join? Aren’t there like rules saying that you have to be an adult in order to join or something?” Gallus asked as Nelsha looked off to the side.
“There are a few rules, yes. But I’m an exception to that rule. Don’t ask me how I go in, because it’s classified information which I can’t say at this time.”
“Right...so what brings you here to our little hideout alien?”
“Not really a hideout if you go to school here. But if you must know, I overheard your conversation while raiding this place’s meat supply. So I figure I make contact with you all seeing how...well you’re about the same age I am, and because I’m pretty sure you all won’t turn me over the royal guard if I agree to assist you in helping you in getting stronger in this school.”
“Wait, you’re willing to help us out?” Scootaloo asked as she eyed the lesser fellpool suspiciously. “Wait, what’s the catch? I know that there has to be something in it for you or something.”
“Please don’t suck out our brains or probe us.” Silverstream said which caused Nelsha to walk over to her and bonk her on the head light causing the hippogriff to yelp and rub her head slightly.
“You keep doing that, I’ll bonk you on the head every time. As for what I want? Don’t really have anything I want. Well other than figuring out how to get around this barrier. Long story short, I can’t be teleported back onto my ship due to the barrier. I need a way around it so I can get back onto my ship.” Yona was about to say something, only for Diamond Tiara to cover her mouth.
“Before we give you the information, why just ask Vi to tell you about that? I mean you did have him look up information on us, so it shouldn’t be a problem right?”
“Vi’s already doing a lot. Managing the safe house, ship maintenance, and repairing my broken translator. I figure I do this by myself seeing how it shouldn’t be a problem.”
“Hm….alright we’ll help you in this matter of yours. But before we can give you the information that you want, you need to help us with something.”
“And that would be?”
“Do you have a way to make us stronger?” Silver Spoon asked. “We aren’t really well liked around the school. Mainly because we hang out with Smolder or some other reason. I mean we know the teachers are okay with us being here. But when it comes to the other students...well.”
“They pretty much hate us and we want to be strong to where they’ll fear us and leave us alone.” Smolder added. “And we need you to help us get stronger. So before we help you, you give us something first so we can trust you. Because bare in mind, we don’t know anything about you other than you’re part of this space military thing.”
“....That’s fair.” Nelsha said as she turned around and motions for them to follow her. “Follow me to my safe house, and I’ll show you my fixing the runes on your bodies.”
“Wait how did you know about that?” Sandbar asked as the lesser fellpool stopped and looked over at him.
“You can thank Vi for that. He was able to look up and showed me how this world works for the most part. Now are you coming or what?” She asked before starting to head out of the cafeteria. The group look at each other with uncertain and worried expressions on their face as Diamond Tiara was the first to follow after Nelsha only to be stopped by Gallus.
“You can’t be serious in trusting her, right? For all we know, this might be a trap or something.”
“Even if that was the case, there’s eleven of us and one of her. I’m pretty sure we can take her down if she tries something. This is possibly the only chance we get. I’m taking it.” She said before going back to following the lesser fellpool. The group once again look at each other for a good few seconds before nodding in agreement and following after Nelsha and Diamond Tiara.

Surviving The First Day
[Nelsha’s Base]
“Will you hold still, kid?” Nelsha asked as Apple Bloom tried her best to hold still, but was having a hard time doing so due to how ticklish the laser beam was on her skin. For the past two hours, she along with Vi performed what could be considered skin surgery on most developed planets like this. This process would’ve been done in a matter of minutes...but they didn’t account for how this world’s inhabitants were easy to be this ticklish.
“Y-You try not feeling ticklish when you have something like that graze against your skin!” Apple Bloom yelled as she tried her best to hold still.
“I did, and I didn’t have problems like this when I had to do it on my home planet.” Nelsha said before finishing up her work. “There, that should do it.” She said as Apple Bloom pulled herself up from the couch she was on and began to dress herself. “It’ll take a good five hours for the symbols on your bodies to be in sync with each other, but that should fix the botched ritual thing that the princesses did a bad job at.”
“Neat...um...what kind of magic can we do?”
“Don’t know. I mean I pretty much mixed my planet’s symbology with your planet’s symbology. So it’ll be possibly random.” Nelsha said before hopping onto the couch and sighing from feeling relaxed. “If anything weird happens, just come by my place...but make sure no one follows after all of you, got it?” She asked as they all nodded. “Good, now I believe you owe me something in return?”
“Right.” Diamond said before standing in front of Nelsha. “If you want a way to get around the force field, there are three ways to get around it from what I overheard from some of the guards. The first one would be to wait for the maintenance check, which happens at the end of each week. The second would be the sewers, but the place is crawling with Royal Guard. The third, the princesses. The shield always goes down whenever one of the princesses comes to visit Ponyville or leaves.”
“Hm. Well, option three is out because I doubt this town will get a visit from your rulers. Option two might be a bit risky seeing how I would have to fight my way through a bunch of guards….Guess I’m going with the waiting game for the time being. How long before the next maintenance for the shield?”
“I...don’t know. You’ll have to figure that out yourself seeing how we’re not part of the Royal Guards. And a lot of the time, they don’t really talk about stuff like that.”
“Fair enough. I’ll have Vi take a look at the schedule for the next maintenance. For now though, I’ll just have to lay low and try not to get noticed by the people of this planet.”
“That might be hard to do given how you’re kind of wanted after what you did.” Button Mash said which caused Scootaloo to punch him on the arm. “What? It’s true. Did you not see the news?”
“I mean staying low as in staying hidden and sneaking around in the shadows.” The lesser fellpool said before yawning. “Anyway, I think it should be time for you guys to head back home. Not that I don’t mind the company, but your families might be worried about where you all are.”
“Right...Will this be the last we see each other?” Sweetie Belle asked as Nelsha shook her head.
“I did say you can come by here if anything happens with the marks you have on your body. Plus I’ll be sure to give you all a message for when I do have to leave. Until then, enjoy the new powers you’ll be getting.” She said as the group nodded and began to head off to their respective homes. Once they were gone, Nelsha pulled up a digital screen as it would have Diamond Tiara and her friends faces on a map with dots on them.
“Secretly placing tracking devices on them. Not a bad idea, but why would you do that?”
“I’ve given them something that will mark them as targets for who knows what might use them as weapons.”
“Within the country we’re in?”
“In and out of this country. Seeing how this is a time of war within this country, people will do whatever it takes to survive, profit, or take over the world. If someone tries to kidnap them or harm them in any way possible. If that were to happen, I want you to kill the people going after them or their family members. Got it Vi?”
“So orbital strike them?”
“More like...drones that can paralyze them from the neck down. I will have to bring them in for questioning...and possibly eat them afterwards.”
“....Is that really necessary?”
“Yes...Yes it is...Mind doing a scan of me Vi? I want to see if there’s any changes to my DNA or something given what just happened earlier today.” She asked as three small drones appeared around the lesser fellpool as they began to scan her from head to toe. Within a matter of seconds, a second digital screen appeared in front of Nelsha.
“It would seem that the wormhole has done a lot more than what I had guessed.” He said before showing her a strane of her DNA. Specifically what it looks like before and after the wormhole trip. “There’s a bit of mutation within your DNA. Not dangerous mind you, so don’t worry about thinking of mutating into an ungodly abomination.”
“Please explain what you mean by that?”
“Your affinity to darkness has increased a lot more than how it was before, meaning that your symbology will be focused around dark elements. I’m still trying to figure out how you were able to make food appear out of thin air like that. Perhaps it’s another symbology spell?”
“Don’t know if I’m being honest. I’m not into the whole science magic mumbo-jumbo stuff.”
“So I noticed. Experimentation is recommended to see if you can do it without Symbology.”
“It’ll have to wait until tomorrow or so. Right now I’m tired and I want to sleep.” Nelsha said before taking her gear off as she was wearing a long black sleeve shirt, boxers, and leg warmers. “It’s been a long rough day, and I want to rest a bit.”
“Shall I set up security bots around the house?”
“You can let Diamond Tiara and her friends into the house, but be sure to scan them to make sure they’re the real ones. Not some imposter dressed up as them.” Nelsha ordered before crawling underneath the sheets of the bed and quickly fell asleep.
“Acknowledge...sleep well...partner.”
[Canterlot Castle: Throne Room]
“This alien’s race is very advanced.” Celestia said as she watched from the crystal ball along with her sister. “Not only can it make her own base of operation, but she can hack into our systems with little to no effort.”
“Isn’t that a bad thing Celestia?”
“I mean yeah. But so far she hasn’t done anything to warrant her being a threat. Though she did hurt my pride with the ritual that she claimed we did wrong...which looking back on it now, does make sense.”
“In fairness, we didn’t have the proper tools like he had...nor could we access them.” Luna said as she moved a bit closer to the ball. “Hard to believe that whatever alien race she comes from would let a child have something like this.”
“Might be part of a military faction no less. You can’t just give someone tech like that without putting them to a test.” Celestia said with a grin on her face. “I’m a bit curious as to how she’ll fare with Twilight and her friends for the next three days.”
“What do you mean by that?”
“Well, that is the usual time for when maintenance ponies do their usual schedule in updating the force fields. Remember?”
“Ah right...I forgot about that. But I’m sure the royal guards will be able to capture her before she escapes.”
“If you say so dear sister~” Celestia said as her horn glowed and caused the sun to set and the moon to rise. Once she did that, she soon pulled herself up from her throne and began to make her way to her room for the night. “Just remember the bet we made once I win this~”
“As do you dear sister.” Luna said as a grin appeared on her face. Indicating that she has a plan set up as she teleported to her own room to prepare for night court.
Star Ocean: A New Frontier
Prologue
Into the Void
For as long as the people on earth could remember, no one truly thought that somehow, the world they knew was the only one where life existed. But mankind only discovered this centuries into the future, where Space travel was possible and the weapons of the future were more than just laser guns and pulse grenades. After years of trial, error, and multiple test run with space travel, Earth finally obtaining the ability to create ships that can travel faster than the speed of light. Allowing them to explore new frontiers beyond the solar system. With this though, many new changes were afoot as well. And not just with technology, but with the people. Different species of either alien or animal like beings have been introduced to the human race. But not all were welcomed with open arms and some were discriminated and segregated based on their species. Thus, this caused a war between the many races of each species that would’ve escalated into a war between different galaxies. But, after years of fighting, all these species agreed to now settle their differences with words instead of weapons. Thus, the Pangalactic Federation was made. As a means to bring order and peace throughout the universe. But not every race is too friendly towards the Federation.
[Space]
[Kappa Sector]
Kronos, an organization that rivals that of the Pangalactic Federation, although they are at peace with the PF due to a peace treaty. Kronos is in control of the Kappa Sector, with its central government located on the fourth planet in the Omphalos System. Kronos has extremely advanced technology, often matching or exceeding that of the federation in some areas. One of its factions, the one that used to be lead by General Alma, has made groundbreaking advances in time space symbometrics as a means to combat the federation or any foe that threatened them or the system they live in.
“Solar Star to command, do you copy?” The distorted voice on the communications console tried to spell out. Spatial Travel sometimes could hamper communications and also affect the AI’s receiving the messages if the owner couldn’t respond. However, the one who was calling knew the pilot of the Solar Star well and was getting irritated with waiting. “Solar Star… Nelsha, I know you’re faking the whole falling asleep tactic! Get your ass in here, this is serious!!”
“Ugh! Dammit, what! What the hell do you want!?” Nelsha said as she press the communication button in her ship.
“I know you might think I’m annoying you, but this is urgent.” the voice over the intercom replied. “There’s-.”
“That’s what you said last time, and there was nothing urgent to be worried about!”
“This time it’s different,” her commanding officer informed her. “There’s a cosmic anomaly by your sector. We’re unsure how it happened or what it’s doing, but we’re asking for all ships to stay out of the region until it’s deemed safe to pass through.”
"Well that's a surprise. Command actually gives us a warning ahead of time before the danger happens.” Nelsha said sarcastically. “What’s the big deal about this anomaly anyway?”
“We’ve lost many courier ships before who thought that traveling through anomalies could be a shortcut to get to their destination. Some others thought as far as they were going to become psychics if they went through as a right of passage.”
“Figures someone would try to do that. I mean really, don’t they know that it will end up killing them or worse causing permanent damage to their nervous system?”
“Just shows how far people would go to achieve the impossible. Anyways, get yourself to a place to dock. The Kronos Ravana is the closest one here. I’ll let them know you are on your way.”
“Dammit, and I was hoping to stop by a planet to get some crafting materials for the ship.” The lesser fellpool sighed as she took her ship off of autopilot. “Fine, I’ll head over there once I input the location to the Kronos Ravana.”
“Good. Stay safe, Nelsha.” The commander told her before ending the call, allowing the pilot to input the coordinates of the space carrier into her ship's Navigation unit.
“Seriously, I don’t see why I have to head back so soon. I mean it’s not like I’ll end up getting into trouble or something.”
“If I may speak,” A new voice on the ship, which was Nelsha’s AI named Vi. “The last time you ignored protocol, you had your ships license taken away and you sent a formal complaint titled “nuts to the law” in slang terms.”
“Hey, I had a good reason for that one.”
“Taking the commander's ship out on a joy flight is not a suitable reason.”
“Not my fault the guy left the keys to the ship inside. I mean, who does that?” The AI sighed, looking at the pilot as she groaned a little.
“Look, let’s just do what the commander says. He’s already angry and you don’t want it to get worse.”
“Fine, we'll follow his orders for once and head on over there.” Nelsha growled as she turned her ship around and began to make her way over to her destination. “Vi, how long have we been with the Kronos Organization?”
“Simple or statistical terms?”
“Don’t be a smartass, just tell me.”
“About two years, going on three.” The AI replied. “Why?”
“And out those two years, have we ever encountered anything interesting?”
“Well… Not exactly. Given your track record, you will only get the better assignments once you show some responsibility-.”
“Hey, I have shown some responsibility. Remember that time I helped out those folks on planet alpha dova a few weeks ago?”
“Yes…and that was only one out of a handful of times…I’m sorry for sounding rude, but can you get straight to the point?”
“Look, if they want me to take things seriously, then they could at least give me something more important than scouting mission for possible ally planets or delivery stuff.” Nelsha continued on for a few moments, not exactly paying attention to where she was flying until Vi redirected her attention back to the controls. “Let’s just head over to the Kronos Ravana and-.”
“Nelsha, we have a problem.”
“What problem? Is it the cooling system again? Because I already undid the wiring so that the cold air isn’t on when the heat is on this time.”
“No, another problem…” Vi spoke up.
“What? Is it the transmission?”
“No, that.” Vi spoke up before the two of them heard something crash into the back of the ship. “We’re being attacked by Space Pirates.”
“Seriously? What are space pirates doing in Kronos territory?”
“They’re rogues from the looks of it. They don’t align themselves with a certain captain, but instead go wherever the possibility of looting is...and one just flipped you off.”
“Brilliant deduction sherlock. Ready the EMP pulse gun along with the photon blasters.” Nelsha said as she pushed on the gas peddled to her ship. “Keep the shields up to max, but lower them if the attacks don’t do that much damage.”
“Affirmative.” Vi replied, before an incoming transmission came in.
“Hey buds, this little bitch cut us off and I really don’t like her attitude. Let’s tear that ship to scrap!!”
“Good luck with that buddy. Vi, how’s the EMP pulse gun doing?” Nelsha asked as she avoided a photon blast from the space pirate’s ship.
“Guns online...Warning, unknown energy flux. Source…possibly the cosmic anomaly that the commander mentioned.” The AI said before hearing something explode. “Left Pulse gun, disabled.”
“Dammit, as if I needed more pressure on me today. Focus on charging the pulse gun and repairing the damaged gun.”
“Uhh…It might go without saying that when I mean disabled…” Vi said, showing an image of the weapon only half intact. “I mean blown to bits…I suggest possibly creating a diversion to disable their ships and use what fuel we have to escape?”
“Do we have anything to distract them to make our getaway?”
“We have an Arc Mine Cluster disguised as a crate. Leftover from one of our previous missions out in the Stratos Sector.” The Artificial intelligence filled her in as they dodged a few more blasts. “Should I set it to charge?”
“Please do that. Because right now this ship is starting to become hard to steer.”
“Working on it…Releasing Arc Mines now.”
“This better work.” Nelsha said as she pressed a button, releasing the Arc Mines at the space pirates. It soon detonated, giving her the chance to speed out of there, leaving them in the dust while doing so.
“Targets eliminated.” Vi replied, after a little while of running away from the blast zone. “However…I don’t think we can exactly rest just yet.”
“What do you mean?”
“There’s a gravity influx from that anomaly that’s a few kilometers out. It’s pulling us in.”
“Well pull us out of its gravitational pull then.” Nelsha said as she tried to move the ship out of the way of the gravitational pull.
“I can’t. The gravitational force is too strong, and warping would cause this ship to be torn apart...May I also add that it’s been an honor serving you, Ms. Nelsha. You know since we’re probably going to die?”
“We’re not going to die Vi. I don’t give up that easy.” Nelsha said as she aimed towards the anomaly. “If we can’t pull away, then we’ll have to go through it.”
“Normally I would judge your decision. But since it’s the only one we got, I’m going to use a phrase you would normally say...screw it.”
“Glad to see some of my personality is rubbing off on you.”
“I would say otherwise.” Vi groaned, “At least make sure to have your gear on you for if we do somehow crashed on a planet inhabited by aliens and we can't get a hold on command. After the fight with the pirates, our communications might’ve taken a hit.”
“Fair point.” Nelsha said as she strapped herself and braced for impact as the ship flew into the cosmic anomaly.
