Hot Blood
Not Pony, Dragon
Load Full StoryNext ChapterToday is the day Spike turned sixteen, the beginning of his breeding age, and in his prime too. He had been working on his body tone, working out, but only enough to help, and never went overboard. No protein shakes, no equipment. Just simple exercises.
He loved active games, and often invited over a few dragons to play a bit of lava ball in the nearby volcano. It was like a marathon race there, and back. Twelve miles of running, or flying, the first one there got to pick the first team member for the game.
And then comes a perfect conversation for the walk back.
"Man, after today's game, I'll be picking obsidian out of my scales for a good couple of days!", Spike sid excitedly.
"Calm down, dude. Really, I don't see where you get all that energy from.", the red, slender dragon asked.
"Meh, I just go with it."
"So,", the blue, large dragon started, "When do you plan on finding yourself a mate?"
The entire group stopped, including Spike, who was mostly off in thought, now.
"He's right, dude.", the yellow, brawny one spoke up, "You need to find yourself a female soon. A cute dragoness, to accompany the hefty, stud dragon!"
"I...", Spike began, "Understand, but...I don't know what to do...Out of all the things that I learned naturally, this, I just don't know."
"Dude, quit worryin about it. It'll come naturally, just like everything else, if you catch my drift."
"I know, but, there are no dragons where I live, I with a purple, lonely, librarian, possibly lesbian, unicorn mare."
"Dude, you just gotta leave ya swag on.", the black dragon spoke up.
"I have absolutely no idea what swag is.", Spike deadpanned.
"Sure you do. You've got enough of it already to get maybe, three females to crawl over ya. Ya just gotta use it right."
"I still have no idea what you mean."
"Look good, walk by, don't acknowledge the first one that tries to catch your attention. If she follows you, you got a good chance. But you're on your own, dude."
"Maxus, I'm not black."
"But ya purple! That's pretty close ta black."
"Yeah...but I'm not black. Guys, I'll just do this on my own, how hard could it be?"
"About as hard as it is for you to start running!", the red dragon sprinted off down the road.
Clicking a second later, all of them were off, headed home, another marathon being run.
"Yes...No...Yes, yes...No, no, yes, yes, no, no, no...Good, that's it, we've got all that we need, Fluttershy. Thanks again for helping me make this new spell."
"You said it was to make a new spell, I didn't expect ti to involve...ugh...dead lizards...the poor thing..."
"Don't worry fluttershy. It's for a good cause, he won't be used in vein, I promise...Unless this somehow messes up..."
The items scattered across the floor were engulfed in Twilight's glow, placing them in the proper places. The spell circle drawn glowed as each was placed correctly, and Fluttershy meeped when a spark went off, signaling the completion of the spell, readying it for use.
"Alright! Fluttershy, don't move, don't even breathe, so, take a deep breath, and please hold it, I promise it won't take long."
Fluttershy nodded and took a deep breath as Twilight's horn glowed, swallowing the air into her lungs. Closing her eyes, she felt the wind around her swirl, the smell of the magical dusts entering her nostrils, and the slight tingling sensation in her hooves.
A loud scream came from twilight and an explosion. The room was cleared of the spell circle, a dark black ring spiking out from where Fluttershy was.
The book twilight had was charred, the ceiling somehow caught fire, but burned down, snuffing itself out, and the magic sprinklers turned on, showering the room with a magic spray that only cooled everything, not soaking it in water.
As Spike neared the treehouse, his friends gone, the sun low, he heard a scream, and an explosion. Remembering what happened last week with Twilight and alchemy, he would think the same for every scream he heard, followed by an explosion.
Bursting through the door, he nearly threw it off it's hinges, entering the room and scanning it. Finding Twilight next to the door, he picked her up, shaking her awake, and receiving another scream.
"It's alright! Twilight!", Spike assured.
"Oh...Spike...Oh, thank heavens you're here!"
"What happened?"
"Well, that's the thing. How did I even get here, how did I get inside of my library when I was just in Canterlot?"
Twilight was in Canterlot the morning before.
"Wait, you were in Canterlot this morning. You got back before lunch."
"What? And...What's that in the middle of my home? The pillar was moved again."
"Well, you could have lost your memory, Twilight, let me help pick up, and we can figure this all out."
"I guess...that would be fine?"
Spike was at work, looking for the dust pan and broom. He swept up most of the debris, and stopped when something caught his eye. A small, yellow, scale. Raising an eyebrow, he turned around, looking for anything it could have come from. The small knick-knacks on the shelf which could even possibly have something like this on it, had scales, but none matched this one in size, color, or shape.
Her heard a small growl come from the corner, and turned, seeing only a dark shadow. Go figure Twiligth would barely light the place for the feel of the black magic spells she so desperately tried to learn.
But it didn't sound like a growl the second time, more like a moan.
Spitting fire into the nearby lanter, he bent down over the still dark object, and reached out, waking whatever it was as he accidentally touched it.
Whatever it was yelped, then moved, throwing charred dust everywhere.
"Wait.", he examined his hand.
It was partially covered in black dust, same as he was sweeping up.
"What happened here?"
"Oh, Spike, it's just you...", Fluttershy sighed, shaking herself of most the black dust.
Spike's mouth dropped. She stood on her hind legs, balancing by one paw as she dusted herself off, then examined her hand with curiosity.
"T-t-t-twilight?!"
Twilight poked her head in the room from the staircase, looking at the two.
"Spike? Who is that?", she said, squinting her eyes.
Spike looked at Fluttershy, then turned to the black stained circle on the floor. He connected two and two, then it hit him.
"Oh, wow, Twilight, congratulations. You managed to change Fluttershy into a dragon."
"What?", Fluttershy asked.
"I did?", Twilight walked down from the staircase.
"I remember you had me in the middle of a bunch of things, a circle, even. I closed my eyes like you said and then you screamed after a few seconds, then I was thrown back, hit my head on the wall. I guess I was knocked out."
"Wait...I...Remember...Oh Celestia, help us all..."
"What is it Twilight?"
"Black magic. I involved Flutershy in forcing black magic out of the world around me, and...whatever came out, was angry, translucent, and fused with Fluttershy. She was changed into a dragon by black magic!"
"Then, you can change me back, can't you?"
"I'm afraid not. Black magic is damage and permanent magic. It usually causes damage, but also makes changes to anything permanent. Like stupidity spells we use, they only last a while before wearing off. Making a black magic stupidity spell would make a pony lose his entire thought process, and you'd never be able to cure him."
"But...I....", Fluttershy shuddered, looking herself over.
She calmed down, find her new body a bit more...satisfying. The curves that rounded her chest and belly, her rump, and her long, slender, cute tail.
Spike was staring.
"Actually, I'm ok with this!", Fluttershy smiled, stretching her arms above her head.
Spike nearly shuddered.
Fluttershy grabbed her soft breasts, groping them, feeling them like they weren't her own, "This is new."
Spike held down the pressurized air in his throat, swallowing the breath.
Fluttershy grabbed her tail, examining it and revealing her plump bottom.
Spike fell over, passing out.
