Hello.
As you may or may not know, I have another story about Plants vs Zombies in FiM so as you can guess...
I'll be soon taking a break after this chapter to update the PVZ story.
Don't worry I'll soon come back to this one soon.
Also I have another story planned but it's not important as of now but this is just a heads-up for any late chapter postings.
Also I need some help with maintaining character so any comments would've good.

Timeless
I wonder how John deals with this every single day.
I slowly started to get myself up, my legs shaking as I nearly fell down a bunch of times. My hands were covered in blood, some of them from me and some from the one I fought.
When I said how it must've been thrilling running for your life and fighting everyone everyday to John at that cafe shop before this whole UnOrdinary Book fiasco even began, I actually meant it.
Now I wished I never said that.
Every single bone and muscle ached and hurt as I got up. Seeing how badly injured I was and that school has ended I decided to call her.
"Sera! Are you okay?!" The familiar voice of our school's turf war healer was heard, since I rarely called her for anything other than to heal myself nowadays.
"Well better than last time. Nothing broken I think. Just aching." I said. Truth was that I didn't know how badly I was in. Though considering that Stoneboy was relatively easy to John (and by relatively I mean that all his ability did was increase his strength and speed) it was probably nothing.
"Nope! Stay right there! I'll be coming!" She said.
"Elaine, I can easily get there. I'll be okay." I said, though with how my legs were shaking it would be kind of difficult. Before she could protest I hang up. I bandaged myself as best I could before I began my trek to the Girls Dormitory.
"Oh if it isn't the Time Queen, back from another day of losing." A random girl said walking by. I ignored them as I went I side the building. Luckily for me I encountered nobody else, but I began to refocus my mind on what she said.
The Time Queen.
Long time ago, before meeting John, all I cared was perfection. But getting so involved in being perfect, it no longer felt like an achievement, it felt like something I HAD to be. I stopped living for myself, until John came and turned around my world, and I slowly began living for myself.
But even still, there was something I thought would never be affected.
My famous Time Ability.
Back before I began to live for myself, and even still a few months ago, I possess a ability with the power of 8. I was a Time Manipulator. I could freeze my opponents or move to extreme speeds where time suddenly stopped. And best part was that if I ever got hit, I could rewind everything, now knowing the future, and properly deal with them.
Not that in that time I needed to Rewind for that, I used it to make things look easy. In reality they were. One second everyone is standing, next is that they collaspe on the ground.
In fact it was still part of me even after I began to live for myself. I was now happy. For the most part. Sometimes whenever I see John after a day of him getting beaten up, I wished that he had an ability of his own to use. If he's able to take somewhat take on mid-tiers with no ability, imagine if he had a real one!
But I didn't think about ever losing mine.
The injection.
The blade.
Getting kidnapped nearly twice.
And having being told that I lost my ability for good.
Once one of the most powerful people to ever exist, now reduced to nothing.
At least John trained me to fight without my ability, but now I know ow what it's like getting beaten up every single day.
I grabbed my phone, getting ready to call him when suddenly in the hallway Elaine ran up to me.
"Seraphina!" Elaine cried out as she immediately began to check me. She frowned. "And you said you weren't badly injured?!" Elaine yelled.
"Yeah I'm okay." I said, but I sensed Elaine already picking up many injuries.
"You got broken bones everywhere!" She said before growling. "Why did you place so much faith in John! He's just a crippl-"
When I first said those words, I actually meant it.
John. We all thought he was nothing. A boy with no Ability. Worthless.
But now we know the truth.
All except for Seraphina and the rest of the school.
When I first said that, Seraphina froze me in place with her ability. She said that the 'cripple' was her friend, and that it was none of my business. So I expected to receive the same response but with no ability.
I suddenly felt my legs unable to move. I looked down in horror as I saw them turning grey. I looked up and I saw it.
Seraphina's eyes were glowing.
It was a faint glow at first, but as time passes and the numbness reach to my waist her eyes were fully glowing.
"Don't speak to that to my friend." Seraphina said coldly. She stopped glowing and I fell to the floor.
"You...you...." I stammered. Was it right to tell her that she was regaining her ability now or later? Seraphina looked at me waiting for my response. I tried to recover. "You.... You need to get healed!" I said as I began to heal her wounds. She of course caught my stammers and raised her eyebrow.
"You were going to say something she right?" She asked. I shook my head by she pressed one. "Tell me."
Her voice sounded both commanding and not. Even though she went through the hell of being beaten up which greatly lowered her self-esteem, she still maintained that high tier attitude she had before she lost her ability. I tried to make something up when suddenly my phone rang.
Both of us looked at my phone. I raced to grab it and narrowly was able to hide whatever message or call that came before Seraphina was able to see.
"Who is that?" She asked, looking at me and the phone like a hawk. I remembered when I accidentally (okay maybe I should've thought about how the school would react to me saying that Seraphina had read the book) caused Seraphina to be suspended because of a phone call with Alro and the other times I knew something from a text or phone call that Seraphina hadn't known. So I told her the truth.
"I don't know." I said, before pushing her back into the couch. I resumed healing her, my mind still going around the fact that she had regained her power temporarily. She seemed to forgot about the whole phone thing by the time I finished and told her to just rest when she asked this question
"So what's with this whole hating John thing?" She asked. I sighed.
"Well it's actually Alro who really hates him. As subjects we follow his standards. He couldn't really stand it knowing that a high-tier befriended a cripple. Look where you started! The girl with the most powerful ability and who was perfect in everything slowly lowered herself to nothi-" I was starting to yell until I stopped myself. " Not that you're worthless like that crippl-"
"No. You're right. As I am now, I am worthless." Seraphina said glooming. Great! Just HAD to break her heart! I sighed before resuming my attack on John.
"Well if it weren't for him you'd never would've have found that book that would place you in this situation!" I yelled.
"If you hadn't said anything it wouldn't had occurred either." Seraphina countered. I stood speechless. She was right. She sighed. "Either ways who was to know that the teddy bear was rigged with a tracker. They were bound to do the same thing, maybe even worse if I had been around you guys." She said. "If they could take down me, imagine what they could've done to the rest." She said. I nodded.
"Yeah..." I said, before taking a look at my phone. The text message was from Arlo.
Arlo: Whatever you do, do NOT let Seraphina try to use her phone to talk to John!
I replayed the memory of what happened when Arlo began to attack John directly and indirectly. Faking to treat him like a friend, Arlo hated seeing the two together and thus did everything to hinder the pair from communicating, especially during her expulsion. This caused John to go crazy and actually injure Arlo. In reality I don't know anything other than John having the power to injure those two greatly and Arlo. What his true extent of power was I'll never know but listening to Alro might lead to things going down even further.
"I said who texted you?"
I literally jumped and began to sweat as I saw Seraphina who was right behind me trying to see what the message said.
"Uhm... Alro was asking me about how you are after getting beaten up!" I stammered. Of course she wouldn't buy it easily.
"Did you tell him about the fact that I was hurt just like when you saw that book I read?" She asked, though it wasn't like she was incriminating me, it was a question. I nervously nodded my head.
"Yes I did." I said. She slightly frowned. "It's for your safety. Who knows what would've happened if another person had discovered the book and caused a bigger scene! All we think about is you!" I said. She scoffed.
"Then why hasn't done anything to prevent any more incidents with me." Sera said, looking into the distance. "He's the King. He could force the rest to stop hurting the ones that can't defend themselves. Why continue something that only causes suffering?" She said. She then chuckles. "Maybe that whole UnOrdinary stuff is now entering my head a little too much." She said.
"Maybe it is." I said, though not as jokingly as she did. Seraphina grabbed her phone and I saw the profile picture of John and his number. "Sera don't tell me that you're going to call that crippl- I mean your friend John right now! You just got healed!" I said. I didn't really want a repeat of what happened but I also didn't want to know what would happen if I did the contrary. Somehow Sera fumbled the phone, causing it to make some wierd noises before restarting itself.
"It's Alro again right?" Sera said, this time not as happy as usual.
"Uhm...."
"Then I don't care." Seraphina said as she grabbed her phone. She scrolled down her contacts and raised her eyebrow.
"What's wrong Sera?" I asked. Seraphina still looked puzzled.
"I don't have John's contact anymore." Seraphina said. She then chuckles. "Good thing I actually took the time to not it down ..." Seraphina said, opening a nearby drawer, only to realize that all that was in it was a blank piece of paper. I started to get worried, the feeling that something wrong is happening or happened filled my mind. "Well good thing I memorized his number." Sera said as she began to dial the number.
We waited in silence.
"I'm sorry but the call that you dialed no longer exist. For questions please dial 1 371-384-2719"
I could see that Sera was starting to get worried. She immediately began to dial said number.
"Hello. How can we help you?" A man answered on the other side.
"I was trying to call my friend but suddenly the phone answered that his number does not exist anymore." Seraphina responded.
"Okay then. Tell us his number."
As Seraphina began to retell John's number, an eerie silence filled both our room and on the other side.
"So... Can you tell me what his new number is or something?" Seraphina said. On the other side silence answered for a full minute as the man left. He then came back, his voice shivering.
"Miss.... I don't know how you were able to know such number...
... Because three years ago...
...was the last time that anyone called the boy's name...
... I can't say anything else." The man said. We both looked at each other in shock. Three years?! Is that even possible?!
"What do you mean three years?! I just spoke to him yesterday!" Seraphina yelled,, obviously at what he said. She didn't believe him. I didn't either.
And the man probably didn't either
"It's classified. I would've told you if I could but I can't. Look him up. Try to find him. For this is a lost mystery." The man said. "You can call back if you want, but I don't know if I'll be able to answer again. Good day." And thus the phone hung up.
Obviously Seraphina didn't believe in this and immediately reached for the door to go out and find John at his place. I grabbed her by the hand.
"Don't worry. Everything will be fine. Maybe it was a misunderstanding!" I said, though deep inside I began to piece it together.
'classified' so the authorities have to be involved somehow
'look him up' that means that there must be more info about him. But then....
'try to find him'
'its a lost mystery'
John was missing somehow.
