Hello. This is the author.
Now remember I said when I began that I may do some thing wrong (as it takes a hard time to go back and forth from Webtoon App and Chrome a bunch with other stuff)? Well here it is.
Shout-out to "I love life', the one who currently has a Spitfire profile pic if there's more than one by that title for pointing out a crucial part of John that neither I or the other viewers noticed.
(This has been edited in it's production. Now two people, both the one I first mentioned and Shiro Shigo If I'm not mistaken noticed this problem)
First of all, when I played out that John told the Mane 6 about his past, I thought that it was logical that after so many traumatic memories of both past and present and Nightmare Moon's battle going literally after Arlo's battle he would've broken.
Well...no.
It might be possible, but very unlikely. This is because when Sera came back, John instead of explaining to her what happened, he tries to hide it. Even after saying "don't look at me", after Sera asks him what happened, he says nothing about it and tries to divert the subject. Maybe two traumatic fights in a row might've done it, but it's unlikely.
Plus...would either side trust each other?
Well for now John had not seen the unicorn snobs of Canterlot (with the exception of few who come from Canterlot). Now here's a question: would John begin to slowly part himself from them once he realizes their true past and present?
Probably yes.
Now you can disagree but pony tribes fighting for who's best and unicorn snobs might sound a little too familiar to his own world, so this is a possibility that he may part himself the least.
And while John hadn't dealt the final blow to Nightmare Moon who was defeated by the Mane 6 who used John's distraction as a way to power up, I think having a stranger with a power maybe equal to Celestia should've had made them uneasy and with John telling his past, more. I placed the Mane 6 as understanding and compassionate as it seems like that's what they do. They're the team of friendsh-
Well technically they're still getting to know each other. Sure this is MLP where instant friends are made supposedly but in reality I think this whole thing would've taken longer.
So later we'll probably see a John who begins to doubt that this friendship is real later. It should've been something in the beginning but I messed up.
Or maybe not!
So check out ' I love life' 's comments which are number 41 and 43.

"Monster."
Oh no not this again.
The same memory that tormented me again, the same one who reminded me of who I was, appeared in my sleep. It began as always. Me facing Claire, her army defeated. She was on the floor. I laughed, but not with my current voice. No. It was my younger voice.
"You should've known that this would happen." I said, though not willingly. My mouth said one thing, but my mind said something else.
No! Make it stop!
But I had no control over my actions. It was a memory.
I tried waking myself up, but I couldn't. I was not in control of myself. My memory version walked up to Claire and started to yell.
"I trusted you!" My younger voice yelled, tears going down my cheeks. In this memory, I had no control over any actions. I could only just repeat what had been in the past.
AND I HATED IT!
Memories started to pour inside my head.
At the top of a rooftop I was grabbing a boy by his neck
"REPEAT WHAT YOU JUST SAID!" I yelled at the boy, not letting go of my grip of him, instead contracting harder his neck. The boy's voice was barely audible.
"I heard it! John please listen to me! Claire was using you as a tool to go high! She predicted that the Jack would take the King's place, which she said was you and now as we speak she's gathering as many people she can to dethrone yo-"
WACK!
My hand slapped his face as I yelled at him.
"Then do you know know who I am?! I'm the King of this place! They're nothing compared to me! Are you doubting my power?!" I yelled. The boy tried to place a serious expression but all I saw was fear.
"John I had been with you since day one! You've gotta stop this madness! Stop trying to make excuses to beat everyone up or you're going to lose it all!" The boy said before I knocked him cold.
"Lose it all?" I said, scoffing. "They'll be the one who will lose it all!" I said. The world began to turn as I got back to a fight, this time with Alro.
"ARLO!" I yelled as I used my ability, rage going through my veins. Darkness surrounded me as I pushed the rest with my aura and wind. I was enraged. Or more better said in my memories I was enraged. In truth I was still angry at Alro. I blame him and his idea of society for everything that happened that happened. I began to beat up the three of them, brutalizing the one with Wind and causing that girl to fall from a huge height and preventing her friend from saving her. I then engaged Alro and also began to brutalize him.
More memories poured in, rage building up in my sleep. They're nothing! They're not worth anything!
"You're a hypocrite!"
I froze in my rage when I spun around, seeing Remi. Though I haven't lived this memory, it felt like I did. I grabbed the dream version of her my her shirt.
"What did you say?!" I yelled, anger burning through my eyes.
"You know you're the strongest! And instead of fixing the problem yourself, you concealed yourself for two years!" Remi yelled. "If you had just done something, Seraphina wouldn't had been hurt at all!" Remi yelled. I froze, letting go of my grip as I heard another voice.
"Why John?"
I turned around and saw Seraphina. Her badly injured form reminded me of when I saw her after she was captured and beaten up by those mid tiers. I looked in shock before falling on the floor, shocked and mad at myself.
"You had the power to save me....and yet you do nothing...." Seraphina said, her voice cracking as she was very injured. Memories of me casually continuing to tell her about me being ability-less appeared.
"I-i......"
My voice was shaking. She was right. Everyone was right.
I was truly a monster.
I used every excuse I had to brutalize people, whether I had a good reason or not.
And when I had the power to do something....
....I did nothing.
Many had suffered...
...because of me.....
The Princess of the Night strolled through the endless hallway of doors, each leading to a different dream. This is one of the ways she was able to enter dreams. Another way was just by feeling them around her, each dream confined into a bubble. Every so often she felt a disturbance in the Dream World, which meant a Nightmare was going on. After receiving this signal, Luna would be going and checking these dreams. But that was thousands of years ago, before she became Nightmare Moon. Her body was still in her more younger alicorn form, without much of that majestic power. There really was no explanation to why that happened. Even if somehow they get zapped of their magic, they should've retained their eternal form, not revert back to their younger selves. Maybe it had to do with stability and that Luna had to regain that stability over her magic after the fight?
Anyways, with some persuasion from Celestia to begin returning to her pre-Nightmare Moon job, the ruler of the night did as told. Honestly she was quite surprised that for what seemed like hours to her, there hadn't been a single nightmare, even though their dreams had been watchless since millennium. Had Celestia done that job for her as well?
Luna's ears suddenly perked as she felt a disturbance. She closed her eyes, using her magic to whizz the doors at a astronomical rate, until she stopped at the source. She opened her eyes, the door's color being black and gold.
Black and gold....
Luna started to feel uneasy. Even though she tried to figure out who the door belongs to, being it revelatively new, she already guessed who it was before even thinking about it really.
Luna touched the door, but she did not exert any force to open it. So far, John had been opened a lot with his past. He named a list of atrocities that he committed, similar to what Nightmare Moon did but on a somewhat smaller scale. But knowing that she herself probably wouldn't had told that information that quickly, she knew he was probably going through emotional distress and such. His battle with her probably broke him down emotionally.
Now everypony whenever they had a nightmare would enjoy having Luna with them. Or more better said that they used to enjoy having her with them. After all, she used to calm them down and eliminate what caused them to be in the state a fear. Of course this was before the Nightmare Moon thing. Problem was that John was not from this world. Was there someone who watched their dreams? After all they did had people with abilities. But what if watching their dreams would be a form of invading privacy? Privacy wasn't really much of a big deal in terms of Nightmares, but Luna started to feel uneasy. Invading his privacy without his consent might bring him to distrust them. But here she was, called because he was suffering a Nightmare.
What's the worst that could happen?
"After all... I am going to help him." Luna said to herself, before forming into a must and entering.
And thus Luna had a first row seat at seeing John's backstory...
... In it's full color, both black and white.
And a hint of red....
Luna stayed frozen, not moving. She could sense John breaking down from this dream. While his actions said one thing, out of the corner of his eye she could see fear, agony, defeat.
Unfortunately she was tangible with this dream world, and so she accidentally stumbled upon something, causing a crash to be heard.
"Oh no...." Luan said as she saw John spinning around.
CRASH!
"What the fu-" I said, miracously taken out of my memory trance. I turned around, my eyes glowing. I swore I saw something moving in the background. I started to move towards it's last hidden location, palm ready to fire a random offensive attack
"WHO'S THERE?!" I yelled, anger pouring through me. The dream had taken its toll on me, and I was becoming more unstable by the second. "SHOW YOURSELF!" I ordered. There was a box in front of me. I suddenly kicked it, expecting to see someone there. Out of the corner of my eyes I saw a midnight blue mist moving. I spun and fired without thinking about it twice. The place exploded with black dust as debris flew out
"Look at the cripple! He cant even aim!" A familiar voice said. I spun around and kicked in the face a boy with white face.
"SHUT UP STONEBOY!" I roared as the dream version was reduced to dust, a memory.
"HOW ABOUT YOU SHUT THE-" Another voice yelled, firing a red energy beam. They were all the same. Even if their real personality would never cause them to act like this, in here, everyone was my enemy. I formed a energy ball on all my fingers.
"HOW ABOUT YOU SHUT THE F*CK UP!" I yelled as I beated Blyke for the tenth time in this dream hell. A random figure punched me in the face, causing me to tumble. A hand was extended out in front of me.
"Let me help you..." A girl said. I looked and saw Claire....no wait...Remi? My vision was blurry, just when Remi was trying to helping me get up after I was bullied.
But I learned something.
"I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP!" I said, slamming the Remi/ Claire figure. I once again dodges a energy beam from Blyke, replaying that scene.
"Wow. He somehow managed to piss both the Jack and Queen at the same ti-" A boy said, before I decked him.
"WHO SAID YOU WERE PART OF THIS CONVERSATION!" I yelled as I began to repeatedly slam his head to the ground. I began to get surrounded by everyone. Every single person.
From my childhood before I became King.
From New Boston.
From Wellston.
To everyone I would ever meet.
The authorities. The mid-tiers. The high-tiers. The ones I trusted but betrayed me.
The ones I attacked for no reason.
All of them surrounded me, each with their ability activated. They all collectively began to beat me up, while I could do nothing.
"You're a monster that must be contained."
"You're such a disgrace to hierarchy."
"How does it feel having your back broken everyday John?"
"I naively thought that your actions had a reason but the only thing you do is to find a reason to use Violence."
"Why did you let me suffer when you could've done something!"
"Alro was right. You are no fit to be a King."
"You're pathetic!"
"You're a hypocrite!"
"You're nothing ...."
Luna hid behind a broken wall. She could see John on the ground, currently doing nothing against his attackers.
"Should I help him?" Luna asked to herself. She prepared a beam of energy, preparing herself to attack and defend John from the ones who were beating him up when suddenly a girl came up to John. She extended her hand as if to help him but then John bursted into a storm of shadows, everyone around him being thrown around.
"I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP!" John voice yelled as he destroyed everything around him, accidentally blowing Luna's cover. Luna dropped into her shadow form right when John turned around. Unfortunately he saw the Swift movement of the shadow and began to take fire.
Luna began to dodge each of his attacks, trying to find a way to safely get out of this dream without John later coming at her in the real world when he woke up. Sooner or later he'll be able to identify her aura and that won't end well. She continued to escape through the mass of people who hated John as she jumped from shadow to Shadow, with John following in pursuit, knocking down everyone.
Right now he was in his stage where he just goes and attacks everyone without rhyme or reason. It reminded Luna of how she acted whenever she felt angry. Both of their powers would skyrocket, and right now John is actually catching up. Still in her shadow form, Luna teleported out of the way of a massive energy beam. Now a safe distance from John, Luna powered a gate and escaped out of John's dream.
Luna panted outside of John's Dream. It had been quote intense and somewhat thrilling escaping John. If it were in different situation this encounter would've made Luna feel more alive than ever. But she sighed, seeing the internal pain John was suffering.
But how would she be able to help him without him realizing that she was looking into his dream?
She sighed as another call to enter and help another dreamer was detected.
"Don't worry John.... I'll find a way." Luna said to herself before departing.
