Electuroo the Griffon – Missyplaced First
“Hello my lovelies. As many of you already know I am Missy your guide and your first step to a whole new life after your untimely demise, there so many messy and unnecessary deaths with you humans.”
Sitting on a throne in the middle of nowhere with endless stars and nebulas above with white marble flooring. Missy wearing a purple blouse, white shirt with a broach attached to the collar, purple skirt with black shoes and a black umbrella sitting against it to the right.
“If you do not know me just look me up on YouTube on Doctor Who, I am such a naughty girl there.” She stands up taking the umbrella walking down the steps towards a large open circular floor with machinery around it to a control panel. Inside was a swirling mass of energy changing colours.
She knees down putting a gloved hand into the mass of energy before lifting it out. “This my dearies is a Dimensionalizer linking to the little universe you all are so fond of, Equus, Equestria and whatever you like to countlessly call it. With a few taps of the controls here your on your way to another life one I care little of.”
Missy walks towards the readers. “The question that all you have is most likely... Why?” She chuckled. “Here in this little plain of reality I make my own rules and here I do what I please. So why I do this? Cause you little humans are a curious bunch. So in this Earth I seeded all humans with a secondary chance of life.”
Missy press a button on her umbrella to display a holographic chart. “As you can see there is a number of these lovely mythological races as you call them through out Earth's history including the magical world of My Little Pony. So what you will become? Well... I say that all up to the story that goes with your little tale my little humans.”
Missy tap it and the display vanishes. “Now... For the basics of my rules for the Missyplaced stories...”
“Rule one – All stories are only first person views and from your characters eyes only. No change of view to fill in the story, leave them confused because it more fun!”
She tap the umbrella twice to display the second rule. “Rule two – No proof readers, no helpers. This is your story and yours alone. So those that don't like a grammar mistakes or spelling, than your not here for the fun of the stories these lovely humans metamorphose mythological beings.”
“Rule three – Have fun! You heard me! Have fun in this and don't be a grumpy old goat like the dear thirteenth Doctor was.”
“See it not so hard to remember these rules isn't it?” Missy walking back to her throne walking up the steps to sit down on it placing the umbrella down beside her.
Missy pulls out of a small pocket a note book flipping through the pages. “Now with all the bases down. A page will be opened up for all to join freely to share their tales. The first of such will be from the first of my vi-” She coughs into her gloved hand. “I mean to say my first lovelies whom get a second chance. Now be on your way.”
Missy turn to the first page and looking down at it running the finger over it she laughed. “Oh you sweet thing, jumping in the way like that? Aren't you so sweet.” She looked up and before her the first of many to come to her domain.
Missy turns her head to the left frowning. “I said be on your way! Turn your page over to Chapter 1 of Electuroo The Griffon– Missyplaced First! After I am done with him I got many more of you to deal with. So shoo!”

I groan as I started to wake up, everything was fuzzy as I tried to recall what just happened. I slowly got up on to my feet, some unknown reason my whole body first really tight and strange as if I was wearing something that didn't quite fit me. I looked around as my vision came back to find a white marble flooring with stars with colours of different types of cloudy gas high above.
“Wayne Ottercan. Age 31. Supposedly died saving another by taking the bullet for them.” I turn my head around to the source of the voice to come eye to eye with... “Hello I am Missy and welcome to your lucky day!”
“Lucky day?” I asked with a frown. “Your a-”
“Fictional character? Make believe? Deary; I am.” Missy held out a red book before her. “In a sense you are too since there is countless different realities, dimensions, universes and such. It a very big place out there!” She raised a hand up to the air.
The tightness was increasing by the second. “Urg... I why do-”
“Why do you feel so tight? As if your wearing something that getting tighter by the second?” I nod staring at Missy. “It a normal process after the human shell died. Well here anyway. Soon that shell will rip like tissue paper and the new you will emerge.”
“New me? What the hell did you do to me?” I glared at her.
Missy step down the steps from her throne. “It something I did to all life through out time on Earth, it just out of all points in time your my first to come. There no real order in time in which will come.” Missy stood only a few feet from me with calm. “Think of this a second chance in life. You be thanking me.”
“Yeah right wh-” My mouth tore and before the mouth that was once mine was a yellow beak.
“Oh it happening! The metamorphose has begun!” She clapped her hands together. “Now let see what you become!”
I felt all over the tightness fading away with the sound of ripping all over the place, I looked down at my shoes should be with my jeans, they were ripped to pieces with my skin as if it all was one thing showing a pair of yellow lion hind legs and a lion tail. I quickly looked over my back to see a pair of black wings and torn through.
My head and neck felt free and I fell forwards on what I thought was my hands till I felt the dry scaly touch on the surface to find I had now talons in place of my hands. Raising one I stared at it over the beak in my field of vision to see the claw that went backwards was able to be move forwards to a thumb position.
“Well look at that. Don't you make a cute griffon.” She point a finger to a large body length mirror and I stared at it and what stared back at me was a cream and black marking around the eyes and ear tip eagle head with feathers sticking out of the top with orange tips at the end of them. Below around the chest around was black feathered chest to yellow feathers around the forelegs to the bright yellow wrists to talon hands. I had two large black wings and beyond that was the lion hind quarters that was yellow as the feathers before the chest to my tail and paws.
My brown eyes was unchanged by slightly larger I blinked and open my beak to see it was my beak to notice I had teeth as I did a toothy smile to it testing the reflection. I shook my head and turn to Missy with anger. “Oh please don't give me the anger I will make you pay look! It just so adorable the way you look!” She walked over to a hole in the floor with machines around it.
“Turn me back!” I shouted at her flaring my wings open showing a threatening display but it didn't phase her.
“Turn me back...” She mimics in a childish expression. “Please look around you.” I did noticing the dusty remains of what was of my skin, hair and clothing. “That deary is the human you, it gone, dusted, dead. Your what you are now and well depending on what you choose.”
With a few flap of the wings I pushed off the ground and came to a landing before her looking surprised. “How the hell did I know how to do that?”
“You seriously think I got to all this trouble with you humans not to make it as comfortable as possibly can? I am not going to make you all powerful but gave the leveled basics. Like what you are cute griffon.” She scratched under my right ear.
I didn't show anything as she did it. I refused to let her treat me like a pet. “So you gave me the basics like, walking, flying, talking and all that rubbish?”
“Oh I did. But now...” She walk over to a console. “Dimension 295 dash 782 mark 221. This is the Equestrian universe I be dropping you at me dear or...” Missy press a button on the console showing a image to my right of where I was and people looking around surprised at what happened. “I can easily drop you off as you are but dead as a Dodo.”
I peered into the circular hole at the swirling mass of energy changing colours and back at the screen. “Not really leaving me much of choice are ya?”
“I am only so kind to a point poppit.” She look to a watch on her arm. “Please hurry up, my next guest be arriving soon.”
“Death or one way trip to live in-” I paused. “Wait Equus!? That Equestria! In-”
“Yes yes and yes. But what happens all depends on when you arrive. Your story, your life. It a world that runs on the similar bases of the show but there be differences because this is focused on you!” Missy poked my tip of the beak. “Now you have ten seconds to decide.”
I sighed heavily. “Fine... But I know all nine seasons! I-”
“Than as the late River Song says...”
“Spoilers...” I replied looking into it. “I choose to live...”
“Good now be on your way!” She walked around behind me and with a boot to my rump I fell into it.
I had no control in where I was going as I fell through streams of colours, soon it got so bright I covered my eyes with my forelegs as I shout them too till everything goes silent till I start to hear the sound of the wind blowing as well feel it through my fur and feathers.
Groaning I open my eyes to come face to face with a one eye beast skull. “AHHH!” I leap back hitting my back against the wall staring at the skull with bones all around me on the ledge. “Wh-what the hell!?” I looked around to find I was on some cliff ledge for sure. Peering over it I saw nothing below and looking up I could make out what look like a night sky.
“I am quite some way down...” I muttered. “Why the bloody hell did I end up here of-” I noticed something gold. Picking it up with my talon hands I stared at it. “Th-this is the idol of Boreas...” I quickly looked at the bones. “The thief from the story that stole the pride from the griffons of Griffonstone...” I whispered.
“Crraaap...” I groaned. “That means the only way out is to climb up the cliff...” I looked across at the ledge opposite. “I am going to need something to help me climb...” I look to the idol. “God damn it Missy! Your a real piece of bloody work!”
I grabbed hold of the idol jumping over keeping my wings closed I smash the idol into the cliff side pulling my self up and taking hold of a rocky side I pulled it. Lifting my right foreleg up hitting the idol into the side I pulled myself up a big higher. Some how the idol wasn't even getting dented at I climbed out of the abyss.
Feeling the blast of wind and holding tight it felt really strange without any clothes part from the feathers and fur covering my skin now. I grabbed hold of the top of the cliff and with ease I pulled myself over the top of it still holding the idol in my right talon hand. “Well thanks Boreas. You've been a great help.” I said to the statue with a soft laugh lying flat on my back with my hind legs hanging over the edge of the cliff side with my tail.
Looking up at the mostly clear sky as I laid there I could see the moon with the unicorn face on it. “Pre-Nightmare Moon... Perfect...” I muttered to myself and let out a soft sigh. “Well when it Rome I guess...”I held the idol to my chest continue to stare out to the night sky thinking about what I would do with the piss hole that Missy put me in. “Missy... I like her for giving me this second chance but also hate her for being a real ass... She'd be doing that to everyone she will meet...” I muttered.
“Well I'm just going to lay here enjoy the night sky and think what to do...” I whispered. “She also messed with my mind.” I open up a wing pulling it into view, moving it around by will. “I feel natural in this body and my mind saying it fine and I have no need to freak out at what I am cause this is what I am.” I continue to whisper to myself.
I decided to recap on the hell I am in now. “First I go to work as normally as things are, working my shift and than some muck up twat comes in and pulls a gun on my sister... I saw what he about to do so I acted to save her. Than I end up being told I was suppose to die and well the human skin of me was dead cause the female Master Missy whom is real as day and night with the human body to cause a metamorphose after a untimely death.”
I twitched my tail about brushing it against either leg and paws every so often. “Now my sister sees me poof into thin air the world goes ape cause now people that die like I suppose to have will vanish into thin air which will cause a circus, chaos and the whole ten yards of insanity!” I sit up holding up the idol.
“Now I sit on the cliff edge of an abyss with a bloody idol as a damn griffon for the rest of my life and dumped on a world beyond my families reach because Missy had a HEART! You damn piece of work gave me no time to think no time to act and all I could do is think about living so I get a kick up the flank and sent to a world of fiction that now I am part of! DAMN DAMN AND DAAAAMMMMNNN!” I shouted into air and flopped back down on my back groaning as now I am up a creek without a damn paddle.
Suddenly a flash of light and a thud right next to me caused me to quickly spin around and get up on all fours to find a bag sitting on the ground only a few feet from me. It had a set of three black lightning bolts on it, Electuroo the Pegasus cutie mark. My design. “Ooooookaaaay...”
I placed the idol down and sitting down I open up the bag to put my right foreleg in to grab something and pull it out. I saw in my right talon hand a tablet, it had a arrow on it pointing to the middle button saying 'Press Me'.
I did and the screen turns on to show Missy on it. “Ah you finally answered! Took you long enough poppit.”
“Missy? What are you talking about? I was dropped into an abyss next to a pile of bones! I just climbed out of that bloody thing!” I point to it as if she knew what I was talking about and she did...
“Oh good you found the idol of Boreas!”
“Wh-what!? You dropped me into that abyss on purpose!?”
“Indeed I did my griffon friend. But I sort of sent you ahead without the beginners kit.”
I stared at the bag. “You do know having the idol and walking into Griffonstone says 'MAKE ME KING' or you bloody knew that?”
Missy smiled devilishly. “Oh I did deary. But what you do with the idol is up to you.”
I sighed rubbing the bridge of my beak. “Missy... I'm not going OP and being some out right bloody ruler!”
“It up to you poppit. I am not forcing you and you are in a cartoonish world so... You could if you like.” She turn away. “Wait a second! I am talking to the first! Now button it and let me finish!” She turn back to facing me. “Sorry about that, just number three being a bit of an impatient twat.”
“How do I hide it? Not like that bag big enough.”
“Please! You think I will give you a simple old bag!”
I blinked. “Your saying it bigger on the inside?!”
“Oh you said it! I got someone to say it to me and not the Doctor ooooo he be so jealous! Only if he excises in this universe but he doesn't so it wishful thinking.” Missy rambled on. “Now deary have fun with your adventure and one last thing.”
“Yes?”
“Self-destruct in ten...”
“Oh crap crap crap!” I quickly looking around to throw the table and throw it at the abyss it falls below, grabbing the bag and idol I flew from it quick as I could to be caught in the shockwave of the huge explosion sending me rolling a few feet till I can to a stop.
Looking at the huge fireball rising up followed by the sound of cracking and breaking. I watched as a huge chuck of land collapses into the abyss. “Sweet mercy what kind of explosives did Missy back into that thing!? She is nutterey than a nutter!” I put the idol into the bag before anyone might show up, a explosion like that near Griffonstone should attract some attention.
Looking around I found no one was coming. “That really odd...” I rubbed my head. “Woooo... Why the world spinning?” I move my talon hand in front of me noticing bloody. “Oh look bloody... Hehehe...” After that lights out as I fell forwards.

I slowly opened my eyes to feel the warmth of a open fire, I could see the flickering flames dancing around. Slowly lifting my head up I could see a patched blanket was laid over me and recalling the bloody I look to my talon hand to see none as well feeling on my head was bandages. “Someone must of found me...” I whispered
I sat up noticing it was a one huge joining room with a bathroom beside it. Table tree trunk in the middle and many stalls around it. It look like a crud kitchen with shelves and a net with pots above, books and the ground I was on was covered by what look like nesting hay and sticks.
Looking to the ceiling again I noticed a open hatch, my guess the beds of whom ever helped me is up there. I turn to see my bag hanging on the side of the book shelf. “The dweeb is finally awake.” My ears twitch and I quickly looked over to the door that now opened, standing at the door way was Gilda.
It had to be her whom found me, damn you Missy and that bloody big explosive of yours! I would of not got hurt by the explosion!
She closed the door behind her and walked around the table towards me as my eyes slowly followed Gilda as her eyes didn't leave mine. “Now tell me what the heck happened out at the Abysmal Abyss! Why a huge part of the land now at the bottom of it and you!” She poke me in the chest a few times. “Who are ya!? I know pretty much all the griffons here and haven't seen you before!”
“Missy... That what happened plain and simple Missy... If you ever meet her don't get fooled by her charms of kindness. It could be the death of ya.” I answered. “As for me...” I had to use that name. “Electuroo.”
Gilda laughed. “Oh that a stupid name for a griffon! Who would name you that?”
I stared at her with an blank expression. “Why save me than? Why not leave me to bleed to death?”
She stopped laughing and looked at me angrily. “Simple! I needed answers at what happened and now you gave it, you can get lost!”
“Fine...” I went to get up but I had little strength in my legs or my forelegs falling back to where I laid with the room slightly spinning. “Ooo... Urg... Can you stop spinning please!”
Gilda rolled her eyes. “Just my luck. That blow to your head must of gave you a concussion.”
“You think...” I laid down holding my head with both talon hands. “I feel like I gone through eight rounds of a bout and lost...”
Gilda sat down looking over at me still and I could see it in the corner of my eyes. “So... This Missy what did you did to tick her off to blow up half the abyss?”
“I didn't even tick her off... It her way of sending me on my way for good... Just hope you never get to meet that crazy lady.” I answered.
“Crazy enough to set you off with a bang? Yeah that crazy I will stay far from.” Gilda got off the stall walking to flask of some kind pouring it into a wooden cup. She came over to me with the cup out. “Drink this, it should help.” I looked at it and back at her. “Take it before I make you wear it dweeb!”
I took it from her and took a sniff with an instant pull away from the smell. “It horrible by smell and by taste most likely just as bad...” I drunk a little and cringed heavily at it coughing a bit. “Wow that is horrible!”
Gilda laughed at my reaction. “It sure does but when you have medicine from a travelling Zebra shaman. It the real deal.”
I finished off the drink and gave back to cup. “I guess so...” I noticed a blue and cream griffon walk by the window, young and I knew whom it was. “Never met one but heard of them.”
Gallus, wow he look so much younger than what I saw. He must be at least five years younger at least.
Gilda reached over and took my bag from where it hanged. “I looked into your bag to see there anything about you dweeb but there nothing in it.” She turn it upside down and shook it.
I blinked a few times. “Great... I got robbed...” I grumbled. “Oh let take what we like while I bloody bleed to death... Thank you!” I sarcasticly said.
Gilda toss the bag at me and hit me in the face falling to my covered half with the blanket. “Don't see how. I was there right after the explosion, it caused every griffon to panic and close themselves in.”
I looked confused and down at the bag. “She couldn't have...” I open it and reached in and deep into it before I found something. Pulling it out I found a book. “First time in Equestria a Dummies Guild...” I read the title with my right eye twitching. “Missy...” I growled.
“Wh-what!? Where the heck did that book come from!?” Gilda was more interested in the book then the title of it. “There nothing in that bag!”
I pulled a bag of felt like coins, opening it I saw about thirty gold coins in it. “30 bits.” I said and closing it up I put the coin bag back in the bag.
Gilda took the bag and took a look in there and reached in. “I don't get it where the coin bag go!? I saw you put it in here!” She suddenly gasped as the right foreleg when in deeper, quickly pulling her foreleg out staring down at the suppose empty bag. “What kind of crazy magic is this!?”
“The Missy kind...” She gave me my bag back and I showed her the book. “Guess I am a dummy.”
Gilda glaring at me. “Okay that it! I am not dealing with you and this crazy!” She grabbed me by the foreleg and dragged me across the room throwing me out into the street throwing the book landing to my right. “Now buzz off!” Slamming the door behind her as she went back into the house.
I grumbled picking up the book putting it back in the bag and noticed I still had her blanket. Slowly getting up almost tumbling over from the dizzy spell I had I knocked on the door.
Gilda reopen the door glaring at me. “I SAID BUZZ OFF!”
“Your blanket...” I said raising it to her. “Take it and I'll go...” She stared at it and than at me and back to it. “Here...” I placed it around her neck and turn to leave with each step feeling like a dozy, that gross stuff helped somewhat but still felt like crap.
She speaks out. “What kind of griffon are ya?”
I turn my head slightly to get a sight on her. “Not the Griffonstone kind...” I responded and turn away to get the hell out of this place before I get conned by one of these greedy griffons.
Suddenly I heard a huge groan come from behind me, I stop and slowly turn my head around to her. “I can't believe I am going to do this... I am such a dweeb for this!”
“For what?” I raise an right eye brow.
Gilda growls slightly. “Do I have to spell it out for ya!?” She step to the side of the portal to her home.
I turn around completely. “You've just threw me out for being crazy and now your now inviting me to come back into your house? Who were you calling crazy?” I still had a deadpan look on my face.
“We even! Now get in before I change my mind!”
“Not sure to be welcomed to this or concerned...” I slowly walked back to her and entered the house as she closed the door. “What with the two sided coin flip?
Gilda quickly pin me against the door. “Don't you dare call me a pony! Cause I went to Junior Speedsters Flight Camp doesn't me I solve things with cute and kind!”
I blinked a few times. “Erm... What now? Pony? Flight Camp? I think your crazier than crazy now...”
She let go of me and I rubbed my chest slightly. “Seriously? Your a griffon in what left of the Griffon Kingdom and you don't know about Equestria? What rock you've been living in?”
I pulled out the book and waved it about. “The one that carrying a dummies guide for Equestria kind.” I played on that part to not give too much detail one it. “And out of all this I haven't even gotten your name.”
She took the book from me and flipping through some pages. “Gilda...” She sat down and continue to skim through the book.
Good now to play along. “Okay... Gilda. Before I open the door and try to run as far as I can from ya... Why are you both trying to help me and hurt me?” I asked with an talon hand over the door handle ready to twist and run.
Before she could say something my stomach betrayed me with a low growl. “How about I answer that by making some scones for ya dweeb.”
I gulped and quickly put my talon hand in my bag. “Please please please...” I whispered closing my eyes and felt something. Taking it out I pulled out a pot of baking pounder. “Either I am the luckiest griffon alive or that was dumb luck...”
“And why would that be?” Gilda asked half growling at me.
I squawked in surprise realising I spoke out loud. “Hehe... Erm... Well... I...” I sighed. “I heard once from someone before crashing in the abyss... Erm... scones that could break teeth... When I-”
“When I said it you thought it's mine!” She growled and toss one at me. I squawked in fear and dropped to the floor for it to sail over me and punch a hole through the door. I slowly got up staring at the hole with a massive gulp.
“W-wow that some scone... That hit my already damaged head would have been mushed...”
Gilda stared at the hole in the door. “Erm... Sorry?”
“Sorry!? You say sorry when that thing was able to smash your door!?” I point to it. “That thing could kill!”
Gilda sighed. “Go and run...” She grab the book raising it to me. “Take it an-”
I push it back. “No I got something that might cure your Rocky Roller.” I raise the pot into view.
Gilda put the book down and took it. “Baking powder? This has to be one of the weirdest days ever... First I saved you, then I tossed you for being crazy and than-”
As she goes on I mutter to myself. “Welcome to the world of Friendship is Magic where 22 minutes you can solve a friendship problem and even go too and thou with crazy to crazier...”
“-and now you gave me this for after I acted like the crazy griffon even crazier than that old dweeb Grandpa Gruff.”
I decided to come up with a conclusion hoping she'd buy. “Maybe cause I am not like other griffons or the fact you found me almost good as dead and felt the need to save me being the right thing to do in your gut or the concussion I have with the potion you gave me is sort of having weird side effects to my mental stability to whatever ends it come up with. Or the fact we just throwing banters of all kinds at each other... And we could be a pair of loonies. Take your pick on any of them or whatever you like to come up with.”
“You sure like to blabber don't ya Electuroo?”
“Sorry...”
Gilda chuckled taking the baking powder to the stow to start adding it to the mix for the griffon scones. “I don't know what your sorry about, you pretty much laid it all out and a few I got in mind to add to that list.” She finished mixing it and put the mix on a tray forming into perfect shapes before my eyes, she put it into the stow and some how it was already lit.
I choose to sit down and read the book as Gilda cooked the scones, flipping through the pages I came across the basics about how Equestria was founded to the four pony races. I even came across stuff about Canterlot and the holidays they have. “They sure have a lot of holidays.” I said out loud.
“They sure do and got to admit they kinda are cool, specially Nightmare Night. Me and Dashy pranked so many ponies those nights.”
“Dashy?” I asked.
“Oh a pony I know, she my best friend haven't seen her since... Erm... About four years now after the final Speedster Camp we could attend, she then what to some place called Ponyville to live and work to get far from her overly supporting parents.” Gilda chuckled standing on her paws with forelegs crossed waiting for the scones to finish cooking.
I look to the book and back over to her. “Question...”
“You just did.”
“Haha...” I shook my head slightly. “I mean... I have a question about why you telling me this, some random griffon you dragged from a explosion, that you also tossed out and finally pinned to the door before this civil chat we having. I am an complete unknown to you yet you freely told me about this pony called Dashy.” Not that I might it helps me to play the dumb ass part.
“It Rainbow Dash but I call-” She paused and frown for a moment. “Wow your right. Why the heck am I telling ya this dweeb?”
I shrug. “Heck if I know. But I can say this about myself. I have nothing but the bag and few things within it to my name. I have zip zero nothing now. The life I once have gone by a selfless act.” I blinked and stared at her. “Oh come on! Now I'm doing!” I put both talon hands over the top of my head and place the underside of my head on the table feeling the contact between beak and feathers groaning.
“Okay now since your opened up to me dweeb, what selfless act?”
I raised my head locking my brown eyes onto her golden eyes. “You know I talk about Missy how she crazier than crazy right?” She nods. “Well she the reason also I am alive.”
“Come again?”
“Truth is... I was suppose to be dead. Six feet under dead.”
“Wait are-”
“No I am not undead. I am alive, bleeding.” I point to my head with the bandages on it. “I took a shot for my sister to save her, Missy pulled me and that kill shot at the last second. Gilda tried to see if I was making this up by she could see as much I feel my eyes watering with them building up to the point they was forced by gravity to run down my feathers to the edges of my beak and off to land on the book's pages. “I-I...” Gilda looked away. “I really don't know... Dweeb... I...” Gilda punched the wall causing me to squawk from jumping at her reaction. “Why in the name of Princess Celestia you have to go and tell me that!?”
“Cause it the truth...”
“Cause it the truth...” Gilda repeated. “Griffon Feathers and all above! Why the heck was it me that saved your sorry feathers!?” Gilda turn to face me. “That Missy not only saved you but almost killed you!? What the blazes is that dweeb got playing with life and death like that!?”
“If I know that I would answer but safe to say I think it a game to her, hopefully I won't get to run into her again...” I pray deep in my heart I never do again. “This life I have from right this moment is my life, my family, friends and everything I once had it gone. That the cost of remembering them and getting to live... I hope you never have to cross that bridge...”

“Because it a impossible one to be either right or wrong... There is no good or evil... Just a choice.”
Right on cue to that moment the stow dings and we both turn our heads to the stow to have Gilda with mittens on pull out a tray of freshly cooked and really lovely smell coming from them that got my stomach betraying me even more.
Gilda smirked and glance over to me. “One thing that should set the mood right, dweeb.”

I took a scone and sniffed it before I took a bite out of it, the flavours from it was amazing and I enjoyed eating it that I put the rest in my beak finishing it off with a swallow. I took another and started eating it, that was the sign for Gilda to try her own cooking when she'd saw me happily polishing off the second one.
Gilda looked surprised at how tasty it was to her taste buds. She soon finished off the last of the scone. “Wow who would of thought that simple baking powder would do the trick?” Gilda held up the pot and looked over to me. “Do mind if I can keep the rest?”
“Sure, if it helps you sell those amazing scones I am all good for it.” I replied feeling satisfied after eating a third. “Wow those were the best scones I ever had! And I usually hate scones.”
Gilda looked very surprised by what I said. “You got to be joshing me!”
“I'm not.” I reconfirmed.
Gilda took hold what look like a apron and threw it at me, it landed over my head and I pulled it free from my head looking at it. “What this for?”
Gilda put on one over herself tiring it up. “What you think it for feather brain?”
I realised what she meant. “You can't mean-but...”
“You have a fresh start, nothing to your name right?” I nod to confirm what I did say. “Than you got a choice, take the job I am offering ya or there the door.” She point right to the door with the hole in it.
I look at the hole and raise a finger up. “May I make a suggestion first?”
“Go ahead.”
“How about patching that hole up first?”
Gilda smirked with crossed forelegs. “Am I taking that as a yes? Electuroo.”
I rolled my eyes. “Yes...”
Gilda pulled out a pair of hammers and nails with a plank of wood. “What are you waiting for dweeb let get to fixing so I can sell my scones!”
I saluted. “Yes ma'am.”
Gilda pokes me hard enough to cause me to flinch in pain. “Call me that again dweeb and I'll kick your sorry flank to next week. It Gilda or boss got it.”
I rubbed my chest. “Got it Gilda.” I took one of the hammers from her. “You think I be fine to help you?”
“Well how your head?” Gilda asked.
I blinked and felt a slight aching pain but nothing else. “Slight headache but manageable.”
“Good, that means the medication is working. As for your first day of work you get no bits. Your paying me back for what was used for your head and paying for a new door.” Gilda warned me about not getting paid.
“I got a bag of about 30 bits or so. Is there place where I can stay?”
Gilda point her thumb upwards and I looked up. “That why your not getting paid today, your paying rent as well for the first month.”
I blinked. “Your serious?”
“Deadly.” Gilda confirmed.
Damn these cartoon universe rules! “What the catch?”
“I don't pluck your feathers out for being nice to ya and frankly I don't know why I am! So you tell any griffon this I make do with my word!” Gilda press the flat part of the hammer against the underside of my beak.
I gulped seeing that fiery fierce look in those golden eyes. “Crystal.” I squawked as she released the grip.
Gilda walked over to the door. “Well?”
Rubbing the underside of my beak I answered. “Yes boss.” I got up went over to help patch up the hole in the door with the plank.
Afterwards Gilda pulled the wagon with the stow and shelves on it into the middle of the street, walking behind her I got a good look around of the city. “What you think of Griffonstone?”
“Truth?”
“Truth.”
“The city look like it falling apart. If nothing done to improve, restore and fix this place up the city be no more than a ruined shell for adventures to visit in ten years give it take a year or two either way.” I stated from what I visually could see of the state of the city, including the branch with one of the homes was on just cracked and shifted down slightly before my own eyes. “These trees where some of the homes are on are rotten and already dead.”
I heard a grumpy old voice speak out from my left. “Who are you to speak of our city with such disrespect!”
I turn my head to see it was Grandpa Gruff. “Sorry to burst your bubble sir but if you liked your city enough you wouldn't have let it get into this state it is in now.”
The weirdest thing happened that got me and even Gilda looking at him strangely, glancing at each other as well trying to even get a read from this old griffon as he laughed. “Your right sonny! Haha!” He coughs a few times. “I like you a lot! You speak from the heart and I can tell you care little for wealth. Keep that spirit and don't let what happened to us happen to you got it.” He poke me with his stick on the chest.
“I am not even sure what your talking about sir...” In fact I did.
He sat down. “Usually I would want some coin to tell the tale but for you I do it on the house!”
Gilda rolled her eyes. “I am not listening to this garbage again. You can Electuroo if you want. I am going to get set up. So don't be too long got it?”
“Got it.” I replied and she walks off leaving me with Grandpa Gruff.
“Electuroo hmm? Very bizza name for a griffon. But since your not from Griffonstone or any of the towns or villages around it. I only can guess that a normal name.” I nod silently. “Now my name is Grandpa Gruff and I be telling you the tale of how we was once a pride and noble race of griffons and how we came to fall so far from grace!”
Grandpa Gruff tells me word for word he would say in the future to Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash from how the Idol of Boreas gave them a sense of pride and nobility to the point it is stolen and lost into the abyss a long time ago with Guto being the last king of the Griffon Kingdom.
I wanted to scratch my side of the head but recalling the bandages being there, I moved my talon hand away from it. “Wow...”
“Wow indeed sonny. I wasted enough time with this ideal chit-chat. I did this on the house so that a few bits less for me today.” He turn and walks away before stopping and glancing over to the side with his good eye was on. “And I mean what I said. Don't let what happened to us happen to you sonny!” With a few flaps he took off leaving some feathers behind as they shed from his wings from take off.
I reach down picking one up looking at it and back to where he went. “I am soooooo confused...” I put the feather down on the statue side and walked off to find Gilda. I soon find her pulling out the first lot of freshly cooked scones. “Not easy finding ya in this place.” I said coming up to the cart.
Gilda laughed. “For a crummy place it sure can get you turned around.” She placed six in each box placing them on the shelves. “Now we wait to sell some of the new and improved scones.”
“Just stand by the wagon and wait?”
“Yep, got a problem with that dweeb?”
I shook my head. “Nope no problems boss.” I put my talon hands up in defence.
“Good, get cooking the next batch I left notes for you to follow!”
I nod walking over to the oven. “Put someone that never used it before to use it...” I muttered taking the notes and looking them over. “Okay... Wow Gilda really gone into detail on explaining this. If I can't follow these I am a complete idiot.” I whispered. “Put pre-made mix in scone moulds, light the oven and place tray in over open fire wearing mittens... Let them cook for five minutes and remove...” I continue to whisper as I read it to myself. “Dust it with powder icing for the finishing touch and place six scones in per-box to be placed on shelf to be sold.”
I did as it said and noticed the logs that to place in the burner to start up the oven, how it was lit via pressing a button was a mystery. I put the mix in the moulds and placed on the metal rails over the flame using the mittens. I saw the timer to the right and twist to to five minutes pushing the button down.
After five minutes I pulled them out, 24 perfectly cooked scones. I used the shaker to put the powdered icing on them and using a appliers I found hooked up I put six in each box placing them on the shelves. “Not bad dweeb. What we got be enough for now to sell.”
“Okay Gilda.” I looked around for somewhere to clean the tray. “Is there something to clean this?”
“Not till we get back to my place.”
I look to the mould tray. “After about three cooks these isn't going to be usable till it clean or we have charcoal scones mixed with the scones.”
Gilda rolled her eyes. “That why I have more than one you dweeb.” She open a compartment up and I saw about six clean trays in there. “See.”
“Fair enough. Next time I remember to ask.” I said putting the mittens to the side and turning off the oven. “What next?”
“We sell. A half dozen for four bits, full dozen is seven bits.” Gilda told me what we doing next and the prices she charges. I nod and sat down beside the wagon waiting with Gilda for any to buy ther scones but after 30 minutes of no sale it was getting to Gilda. “Oh come on! These scones are the best yet! Buy some!”
One griffon snorted. “As if I will! Those things are better as paper weights!”
“What!? Why you no good for nothing dweeb!” The griffon walks away with his beak pointing up to the sky. “Gah! No griff going to buy any!”
I saw Gallus again this time he was looking through the trash cans near by. “I got a idea.”
“It better work or I am docking pay for tomorrow too!” Jeez Gilda really something.
I took three scones placing them in a box walking over to Gallus. “Hey kiddo, what ya doing?”
“Nothing that concerns you!” He snapped at me turning around to look up at me. “What ya want!?”
I sat down on my rump and put the box down in front of me. “Just wondering why your looking through the trash, aren't your parents going to say something about this?”
He threw his head to the right with a grunt. “I don't have any. Not that any griffon cares.”
I push the tray towards him. “Than let me be the first.”
He look at it and than at me. “What the catch?”
“Catch? If I fail to get you to try one my pay get docked for tomorrow as well as today.” I replied.
Gallus stared. “That the best you can come up with? That lame.”
“Than I'm lame.”
“Hey stop agreeing with me!”
“Why? Cause you maybe right?” I smirked.
“If I eat one will you shut up!?”
“Maybe.” I pushed the box closer to him. “Or maybe I brighten your spirit a bit.”
He growls. “Fine! I'll eat one! Gilda's scones are better than nothing!” He put one into his mouth chewing on it. “Than ha-” He paused and continue to chew till he swallowed and took another and the last one eating them quickly. “These are good! No way Gilda made these!”
“She did.” I replied glancing over to Gilda. “I gave her something she was missing in the scones.”
“A brain?”
“Baking powder.”
He raise a right eye brow. “Really?”
“Really.” I chuckled. “Now since you enjoyed chowing down on them for free how about you do one little favour in exchange for a half dozen.”
“I knew it was too good to be true!”
“It just to pass on word about how great they are and give them a small taster of the griffon scones.” I said calmly to Gallus. “What ya say?” I put my talon hand out to him. “We got a deal?”
Gallus look at my talon hand and back at me. “Alright you got a deal!” He place his talon hand into mine and we shook.
“Name's Electuroo.”
He laughed as soon as I said it rolling my eyes. “Hehe you can't be haha serious hahahah! That the stupidest griffon name ever!”
“Laugh it up kiddo.”
“Alrigh give me the tasters and I will get them coming to you in no time!” He got up onto his paws and talons. “Gallus is my name and way better than yours!”
I smiled. “It sure is!” He groans as I agreed again to what Gallus said. “Come up we'll get you set up.” I walked back to Gilda waving a right talon hand for him to follow.
Gilda sitting there with her forelegs crossed glaring at me. “This better work Electuroo or that bandaged head won't be the only thing bandaged.”
I gulped at the thought of that and smiled some what nervously. “I believe it will. All they need is a slight push in the right direction and I think Gallus here can pull that off.”
Gilda looked to my right at the blue and cream griffon. “So what you think?”
“They way better, who would of thought baking powder would solve the problems you had.”
“Yeah... Who would of thought.” Her gold eyes was upon my brown eyes as she said it with such an tempted look upon her face saying 'you screw this up your dead meat' look.
As I set up Gallus with a box with small samples of the scones my thoughts drift.
I am so screwing with history here, who knows how long Nightmare Moon event happens. Days, weeks, months or even years! Even if it years it be about two at most due to Gilda being at the age she is and Gallus as well.
“There we go.” I finished setting Gallus up for his run around Griffonstone to share the new scones to the griffons of the run down city.
Gallus flapping his wings taking off. “Better keep to your deal!” He said flying away.
I rolled my eyes. “We better get ready for the customers.”
Gilda didn't seem convinced. “It won't work you dweeb.”

Chapter Four – Day One Reflection
Electuroo the Griffon – Missyplaced First
As the sun sets as the rays of light skim through the mountainous landscape I sat on the new edge of the Abysmal Abyss left to my thoughts of the day and how the new life of mine going to be now. After the successful relaunch of Gilda's griffon scones to her own dismay and with that I pretty much rewrote events here in Griffonstone.
Who knows what the future would bring or even Griffon Brush Off be like now...
I put my talon hand up to my head feeling the slight pain on touching the part that was struck by rock from that damn bomb Missy planted in the device. “That some sunset.” I said to myself lowing my talon hand back to the ground watching the colours of the sky shift.
“It is.”
Before I could turn around I got a talon hand to the back of my head. “Ow!” I rubbed the back of my head as Gilda now sat next to me. “What the bloody hell was that for?”
Gilda left eye that I only could see turn to me before turning back to gaze at the final seconds of sunlight dipping below the mountains. “I name many reasons for that you dweeb.”
I stopped rubbing my head and saw the last parts of the sun rays disappear with the moon starting to rise soon afterwards just to the right, watching it rise was really something. “Name one at least...”
“You! You feather brain!” She now turn her head slightly to have both eyes on mine as I turn my head. “Since I saved your sorry tail everything been thrown upside down! You even got the griffon Gallus to help us!” She clicked her thumb and index talon finger. “Just like that! You just talked to him and played on agreeing to him and with that I had my best day ever of selling scones! I never sold out of them! SOLD OUT!” She grabbed me by my feather and skin of my shoulder joints be and shook me back and forwards.
“III thhhhouuggghhtt yoooooouuuu beeee happpppy.” I trying to say as she continued to shaking me.
She lets go and I lose my balance to land on my side with a grunt. “Gah! You crazy griffon! Your making me go nuts and it only been a day! A DAY!”
I turn around lying on my chest and stomach my hind legs out to the side and forelegs in front of my front. “If you think I am trying to con ya just say it.”
She slap her forehead. “That the thing you idiot! I don't! And I don't get it!”
“Welcome to my world.” I said lying my head down against the tops of the talon hands. “I pretty much surprised you flipped around from telling me to leave to-”
She growls. “I know you stupid griffon!” She grabbed my hind leg and pulled with me yelping in surprise as she dragged me a few feet away.
I got free and twist around to rub my paw. “What is it with you hitting me and pulling me about?”
Gilda growled slightly. “Trying to get you to respond like a normal griffon would! I don't like this kind griffon crap your pulling showing here!”
“Sorry for me just being me, I rather be able to help if possible.”
She sighed. “I don't want you back in my home but yet my gut twists and I feel bad! You helped me out too much for me to even do it! And-” She pauses staring at my paw still being rubbed be me with my talon hands.
I watched her point with a index talon claw at it and seem to count by mouthing it. “Erm... What with that look?”
Gilda suddenly grabbed my leg causing me to fall on my back and press her free talon hand against each paw toe and pad, I twitched and laughing. “Sto-stop th haha that haha tickles! Mercy! Hahaha Mercy!” I couldn't taking it as I punch the ground either side of my body against the ground laughing uncontrollable till she stopped and let go.
I breathed in and out. “Your evil Gilda. Hehe...” I rubbed my eyes from the tears that had formed. I sat up.
Gilda sat down staring at me. “What the heck are you?”
“What do you mean?” I breathed a few more times.
Gilda still staring. “You have four toes on your paws.”
“Yeah? Why?” I asked.
“Griffons only have three...”
I blinked. “Erm what?”
Gilda shift her weight to the right to show her hind leg and paw. “Count...”
I did and saw only three toes. “You have three toes, why does it matter I have fo-” She moved up to me grabbing my beak open looking inside it. “Wha a doong?”
She let go and I moved my jaw of my beak up and down shifting the lower part left and right. Gilda pull out my right wing touching my feathers casing me to flinch from the sensitive touch and finally took my talon hand with force looking over it before letting go. “Other than being a bit bigger and having four toes on your paws your griffon...”
I grumbled slightly. “I could of told you that..”
“And yet you still didn't hit me. Why?”
“I don't hit girls unless I am pushed too far. And so far all you've done is just been rather confusing and hard to figure it out.” I responded crossing my forelegs tapping my talon index finger against my other arm. “Is this what I am going to put up with being your tenant?”
“Nope, today just crazy and like it just to end.” Gilda yawned. “Baking powder, he had baking powder in his bag and cause of that I now had my best day ever! Even his damn plan worked!” She turn around and walks away continue to rant and rave about it. “-I even said 'Fresh beginnings!' What am I doing!?”
I blinked a few times watching her leave. “What the blueberries just happened?”
“I say your making a big impact poppit.” I squawked in surprise turning around to find Missy standing before me. “Only a day and your such a hoot.”
I growled slightly flaring my wings open. “Keep your bloody distance Missy! I don't want anymore of your bloody damn help! You almost blow me up last night!”
She walked around me as I turn to keep facing her directly. “Maybe I put too much boom in it.”
“Yeah right...” I said wearily watching her and notice a flicker. “Your not here...”
Missy stops and holding the umbrella in front of her she slyly smiled at me in the most creepiest way possible. “I see those beautiful griffon eyes doing you good.” She points to my bag. “Look inside.”
I rolled my eyes putting my talon hand into it. “To the left, a bit forwards. Right there.” She described to me the location of what she'd spoke about.
I found what felt like a piece of paper, taking it out I took a look at the small piece of paper. “Missy will visit Electuroo the Griffon on the progress he is making at... First full day and than yearly at this moment of time when reading this letter. There is negotiate...” I stared at it.
“See, you just didn't know where to look.”
“Or the fact I had a concussion cause of your tablet exploding.” I point to the hole.
She turn around. “Well coloured me impressed.”
I rolled my eyes Oh course she would.
“Now where was I.” She sat down on the rock. “Oh yes! Now I remember. How was your first day?”
I sat down. “Weird for the best sense of things and what I know of is now all up in the air since I gave that baking powder to Gilda about five to six years before she should have had it.”
“Oooo temporal shift! That a good classic in paradoxes! As I said this a whole different universe to the core one. This simply play by your actions as well all the boring stuff happening. Just with twist and turns.” She got up dancing around with a few spins with glee. “And you did have a choice too, give or not to give and the answer to that is...”
“I gave.”
“Bravo! Now your getting it!” Missy points her umbrella at me. “Now the interesting part is... What happens next. Don't you think? My sweet griffon.” She sat down crossing her leg over the other with the umbrella leaning on the side of the rock and her hands on her lap. “Now tell me how was your name.”
“Well Gilda found me and stopped the bleeding as well gave me some zebra shaman medication for the concussion. After a bit of-” I tell everything that happened to me today and how I got into working for Gilda, as well staying as a tenant to Gallus helping get word around for Gilda's new improved griffon scones.
Missy didn't look too impressed by my daily tale. “That really dull, I was expecting something with a bit more flare.” She got up picking up the umbrella opening it up spinning it around. “Maybe in a years time I will have more juicy stuff to hear!”
She raise a finger. “One suggestion, fly.”
“Fly?”
“You have wings bird brain.” She laughed. “Till next year Electuroo! Ta ta for now!” She turn and walk over the edge and I stared as she walked on air till faded away.
I picked up my bag putting it over my head and right foreleg, opening up my black wings giving them a few flaps I felt myself become airborne as my paws and talons left the ground. “Whoa that was... Easy...” I made myself fly forwards and pulling back I slowed to a hover. “Okay how the bloody blazes am I able to do this as if I done this all my life!?”
Than it hit me...
“You seriously think I got to all this trouble with you humans not to make it as comfortable as possibly can? I am not going to make you all powerful but gave the leveled basics. Like what you are cute griffon.” She scratched under my right ear.
“Oh right I remember... She gave me the basics of being a griffon from the metamorphose from my human shell...” I whispered to myself shivering as I said that feeling my skin under the fur and feathers get goosebumps. “Bree... That just wrong... So wrong... I never get use to that feeling! Just remembering it is just so so so so freaky!”
I flew down into the city with a few short flaps I land on my paws followed up by the talons touching the hay. “Right... Now which way to Gilda's house?” I asked myself looking around as night had fallen upon the city and lights was going out from house to house making it a bit more harder to tell where to go. “How long was I talking to Missy for?” I muttered to myself.
I saw a griffon walking by. “Hey there! Do you know where Gilda lives?” I called out walking up to him.
The black and grey griffon turn to me and with a grunt he replied. “I do but it will cost you four bits.”
I stared at him blankly. “Seriously? Your going to try and rip me off for basic point and say?”
He held his talon hand out. “It late and I am going home, you want the info than pay up the five bits”
“You said four a second ago.” I glared at him
“Your calling me a lair?”
“Yes and a cheat, you most likely give me a wrong direction too. So be Mr Grumpy Greedy pants that most likely will live out his life mean, ungrateful and wasting his life over a few coins.” I turn and walked away from him, I saw in the corner of my right he looked startled at what I said, he left in the middle of this hay, twigs and whatever else covered ground this streets have covered. To me look like one huge nest.
He than shouted out. “To your right and keep walking a few houses over and turn a left! That the only freebe your getting!”
I turn my head with a graceful nod and he rolled his eyes with a few flaps of his wings he was gone. “Well I guess my big mouth good for something at least.” I said to myself and turn to the right and followed a few house down turning to the left to see Gilda's house also to find Gallus walking my way with a box of scones held by his left talon hand. “Hey Gallus, up to helping us again tomorrow?”
Gallus jump up on his paws and gave a thumbs up. “Sure! It better than searching through trash for anything useful! I be around in the morning!” He land back on his right talon hand and walk off on three of his four limbs.
I turn to walk towards Gilda's house to stop in mid step. “Wait a second.” I turn to see he was gone. “Did he just say what I think he just say?”
“What!? Why you no good for nothing dweeb!” The griffon walks away with his beak pointing up to the sky. “Gah! No griff going to buy any!”
I saw Gallus again this time he was looking through the trash cans near by. “I got a idea.”
I slap myself on the forehead forgetting what I saw earlier and screeched in pain realising what I just did. “Ouch! Smart move you bloody idiot...” I called myself rubbing my head now get a bit of a headache once again with some pain to boot.
Walking up to the door I gave it a few knocks before opening it slightly. “Gilda?”
“Yep dweeb it me.” I open the door and walked in placing my bag down by the book rack. “What took ya feather brain?”
I closed the door. “You sorta left me in the dark, I had no idea where your home was in Griffonstone from the abyss. I had to ask a random griffon for directions.” I explained taking a seat at the tree trunk table as Gilda pour me a drink and put a plate of what look like cooked fish and potatoes and some salad to the side.
“How much did it cost ya?”
“Nothing.” I said with a smirk as I took a knife and folk.
Gilda gave me a dumbfounded look. “How the heck did you pull that off?”
“I played the guilt card after he tried to swindle me.” I answered.
Gilda laughed. “That must have been some guilt card you pulled!”
“He fell into his own lies and I used I against him.” I cut into the fish with the knife and folk and pick up some potato with it. As I ate it I was surprised. “This is good.” I said after swallowing.
“It nothing. It the cheapest thing to get that doesn't take much effort to make.” Gilda drunk a bit of her drink and went to eat hers.
We continued to eat without much of a word between us in the room, but I did notice a few times as we did eat. One Gilda had working electricity, two she had a sink with running water and three a gas lit stow!
I decided to be a good guest as my mum always taught me to respect anothers home by taking the empty plates, cuttery and cups placing them in the bowl as I turn the tap on to wash them. Gilda just stared and watched me do this, I think she was confused and not even sure what to say about my act of kindness.
Finishing the cleaning I put them on the drying rack. “Let me guess.” I turn to Gilda. “Your mother taught you to respect other's homes?”
“Pretty much.” I replied. “Hope I didn't offend you in any way.”
“Offend me? Dweeb you did what I hate doing.”
“Cleaning up messes?”
“Yep!” Gilda walked over to the door and to the left of it was a stack of scone mould tins, picking them up she came back over to me placing them down. “While you clean these up I am going to take a shower.” Gilda turn and head into the bathroom closing the door behind her with the sound of a lock engaging.
Soon I heard the shower running I rubbed the uninjured part of my head. “How the name of sanity does these griffons have running electricity, gas and fresh water while the homes are pretty much falling to pieces? Is there some sort of weird cartoon logic behind this?” Trying to figure it out would most likely lead to me having a mental melt down.
Before I get my head bitten off by Gilda I decided to just clean up the trays.
I remember seeing stuff like this through out the show and only in some instance for plot convenience. Other then that there wasn't anything attach to them. Like that town with the rainbow arch, the pony turn a light switch on so... I am basically going in circles in my mind... Perfect... 24 hours in and I am part of the plot convenience...
I finished up cleaning up the mould trays and drying them off. “All done.” My ears twitch and I turn my head to the door, the shower had been turned off and movement within.
The door unlocks and opens with Gilda semi dripping wet drying herself with a towel. “Not bad Electuroo.”
I quickly cover my view of her with my wing. “Great to know!”
“What are you doing?”
“Well your drying yourself so I-”
“So you covering your eyes cause I am a bit wet? Your such a dweeb.”
I lower my wing to get a damp towel hitting me in the face, pulling it off my face I sighed. “It a modest thing I was raised with.”
Gilda rolled her eyes. “Having a bath or shower is a private thing you idiot. Not drying yourself off. It not exactly big and this is my house. So get use to it!” She open her wings with a short flap and jump. I watch her grab hold of the edge of the opening above in the ceiling climbing into it. Peaking out of it she look down at me. “Have either and after turn the lights off. I am hitting the sack so you disturb me-”
“I try not to.”
“Fine, there bedding set up.” I looked around. “Up here feather brain!” I looked up. “There plenty of room up here. Most homes are for groups of griffons sharing the sleeping space. It normal so don't freak out!”
She disappeared out of view. “Don't freak out she says...” I mutter to myself hanging up the towel and entering the bathroom to see a griffon loo looked slightly long and narrow. I was about to question it and felt the need to re-leave myself. I realised than where my equipment was. “Long enough for the male and narrow enough to sit on. Right... This gonna be very weird...” I whispered to myself closing the door.
After going to the toilet for the first time as a griffon I felt better and flushing the loo I turn to the shower noticing a clean towel on the side. “I wonder where she washes the towels.” I talked to myself feeling the material of the towel against my talon fingers and thumb. “What a weird texture. Guess it for feathers and fur.”
After I had a shower and managed to figure out how to wash myself I dried and put the towel next to Gilda's used towel to dry off. I flip the switches turning off all the lights but as it became dark I noticed I could still see. Blinking a few times I took a good look around, the shapes I could make out what they were but not fully. “Amazing, either I can't see completely in the dark I can still make out objects.” I whispered to myself looking to the opening in the roof.
With a flap and reach I grabbed hold and pulled myself up into it. I noticed Gilda was asleep with what I saw a small desk beside the bedding of hay, sticks and leaves all mixed together with a bed sheet over her and resting her head on a pillow.
I saw a few photos of her and Rainbow Dash pinned to the wall at the speedster camp. Hmm. She look so adorable in those photos. No speaking out my thoughts as I crept over to the bedding Gilda left for me on the other side with a small desk like hers beside the pillow and bed sheets. Going to bed without a plushy to hold onto.
Yawning slightly I lay down on the bedding pulling the bed sheet over me resting my head against the pillow. “It pretty comfortable.” I whispered to myself and noticed the loft window, through it the night sky. “Now that a view...” I smiled looking upon it with amazement, turning my head to Gilda I whispered to her. “Goodnight and thank you...”
“Tell any griffon I am being soft-”
“It be the end of me.”
“Now your understanding me.” She chuckled lightly and shift slightly soon fast asleep.
I stared at the stars one last time before letting sleep take hold. One thought on my mind was...
Hope my family are okay... I may never see them again but I hope they be able to move on... I am having too... If this be my final farewell to you guys... I love you and always be in your hearts... My final farewell to my friends and family...

Sitting at the train station, I could call it as one at Griffon Gorge. It was grey with tinted green in places with a worn out brown wings and crown emblem. Stairs didn't fair any better either, I even had to fix up a small wooden bridge across a fissure up the Hyperborian Mountains to Griffonstone.
I doodled with some drawings on the sketch pad waiting for the train to arrive with supplies for Gilda's scones, in a week sales been explosive to say the least. I got the short end of the rock, paper or scissors, the twenty minute walk back to Griffonstone wasn't going to be fun when the supplies are packed in the wagon.
“A week... huh? Has it really been a week already?” I said to myself continue to draw a sketch of myself. “Not too shabby. I say so.” I smiled at what I created from recalling my mirror view.
I looked up slightly at the sun high in the sky and the mountains with the widening paths to the city. “Nice view from here, you'd never expect that Griffonstone completely run down and on the verge of turning into an unsettle-able land in the next ten years at best.”
Gilda was told that by me plain and bluntly on day one. I open up my bag pulling out the idol rubbing my talon index finger over it a few times. “What make you so special? What exactly are you to change what griffons were to what they became before you went missing?” I said to it expecting a response but didn't get any.
Train whistle could be heard with the sound of the metal wheels grinding against the metal rails. I put the idol away, putting my bag on I stood up on my talons and paws to see the train coming from Griffish Isles Trottingham.
First time seeing the train in person or should say Griffon it was weird seeing the thing bob up and down slightly pulling the carriages along. “Seeing that engine do that just soooo weird...” I whispered to myself as it slows and comes to a stop at the station.
A blue earth pony and pale grey griffon with a white top half and four red feathers on top of his head step out of the train pulling about six square shape boxes onto the platform. “Got a supply delivery for Gilda and Electuroo.” The griffon said in a gruff voice.
I stepped up to them. “That be me, Electuroo.”
Earth pony tilted her head. “Erm... That sound more like a pony be called than a griffon.”
I sighed. “Is everyone that I meet for the first time keep bring that up or laugh at it?” I asked taking the clipboard and sign my name on it. “I am not born in Griffonstone just been here for a week now.”
“Surprising that you are.” The griffon said taking the clipboard from me. “It your choice but either way that be twenty bits please.”
I gave the bag of coins over. “It all there.”
“I will double c-” He staring at my right paw that was in view. “Four?”
“Four bits? Is he tr-”
“No he has four toe paws.” The griffon stated and here we go again I am invisible and talked about if I am not here or able to hear them.
The mare now stared and counted by mouthing it. “Wow your right. I never seen a griffon with extra digits on their paws before.”
I shook my head and started loading up the creates onto the wagon one by one. “As I said it all there. I don't cheat, scam and such. I rather be honesty and truthful.” For the most part, can't exactly tell Gilda I use to be human and an metamorphose ripped my human shell apart.
The griffon look in the bag quickly and nod. “It seem to be from a quick look. Still...”
“I am not from anywhere near griffon lands or the pony lands. Does that help?”
“Oh? So griffons from where you are have-”
“Yes, they do.” I most likely lied on that part but basically I didn't know who else become a griffon would end up with four digits like me. “The train driver looking a tad impatient over there.” I hint to the engine to ditch them, I was getting irritated fast.
They both look and gasped. “Sorry!” They said together and quickly bored closing the doors and with a whistle the train starts to pull away.
I sighed in relief. “Erg... I am so sick of saying the same thing over and over again...” I put the last of the creates in and tied them down.
“Maybe you should spice it up a bit.” I turn to the sky to see the young griffon Gallus hovering over ten feet above me.
“What the blazes are you doing here Gallus?”
Gallus lands on the seat of the wagon. “Thought you like the company back up.”
“Right...” I hooked myself up to the wagon and start pulling it up the hill. “Your just here to ditch on Grandpa Gruff, aren't ya?”
He rolled his blue eyes. “What!? Of course not! I-” I gave him a look that said 'do not believe you' and he rubbed the back of his neck. “Okay... I did.” He counters. “Like you ditched that griffon and pony just now?”
“Okay... let's agree to disagree and not have the answers of why we ditched okay?”
“Deal!” Gallus agreed.
Crossing over the stone bridge I looked to my left and right of the Guto River. “The last griffon king and the river named after him.” I said. “I figured out as well roughly the Griffon Pride era lastest when the Idol of Boreas sat with each of the 14 kings till the day it was stolen and lost in the abyss.”
Gallus didn't seem impressed by what I was saying. “Oh please, you really believe in that rubbish?”
“Says the griffon that searches in it till I approached a week ago.” I instantly replied.
Gallus I saw in the corner of my right eye cross his forelegs with a “humpth!” And wasn't pleased I brought that up. “Fine get to the point!”
“Each king with peace and pride. I say each have about 40 to 60 years if it was the family line. The era of pride would of lasted about 700 to 800 years. 840 to 900 if they all held the throne into their hundreds.” I explained to him. “Also before that time in the book I read they was as greedy as dragons could be with their horde, does that remind you of something in Griffonstone part from you, Gilda and Gabriel?”
Gallus had listen to what I said and seem conflicted. “Okay now I can see it... What are you saying?”
“I think the idol had a form of magic within it like magical artefacts could have. That in a book I found in the remains of the library too.”
“You looked through that dump?”
I chuckled. “I did Gallus. The book I speak about I found drawings and information about many different ones and it seem when it was made griffons and ponies was sharing knowledge with each other. That has stuff about magical artefacts in both cultures.”
We came up to the make shift bridge I made and crossed over it with a creek. “And why would these artefacts be interesting?”
“Gallus a medallion the ponies of something called the EEA wear on their clothing is able to open portals long distances that normal unicorns can't cast and do other magical tricks. The book stated that these medallions could even great chains to creating magical seals that prevent someone from entering a structure physically or magically. Unless you have a greater field of magic than the caster through it.”
Gallus now looked impressed when I explained that to him. “Wow okay that does sound kinda neat. What does this have to do with the Idol of Boreas though?”
“I found nothing about it being magical but I think it had some sort of magical hold on the griffons during the 14 rulers of the Griffon Kingdom from Grover to Guto.” I said to Gallus. “Think about it before you answer and explain to me how greedy griffons before Grover found the idol became prideful and prosperous? How they ended up in a small war with Equestria and became allies till Guto lost it due to it being stolen, thief and idol lost into the abyss.”
I gave him a lot to think about the poor blue young griffon but for minutes he haven't said a word deep in thought at what I had said to Gallus. With the most likely way of events playing out already gone out the window since my arrival I just decided to go with the flow with it.
Gallus on the plus side since I arrived had been more happier and so had Gilda, her scones been a buzz of the city and even griffons from neighbouring towns and villages been coming by. Who would of thought there be griffon pun named places other than Griffonstone. Griffton, Griffshire, Clawrrose, Pawrris and so many others... Wow I sure talking a lot in my own thoughts...
“-ey HEY!” I blinked a few times turning my head slightly to look at Gallus. “I'm trying to talk to you here and your not even paying attention!”
“Sorry about that, lost in thought. So... What were you saying?”
Gallus rolled his eyes before speaking to me. “What I was trying to say is; if the idol was really real and it was magical. How do we prove it?”
“We?” I asked with a sly smirk.
“Yes we! I want to know! But with the abyss having that big explosion a week ago finding out if it was lost down there is next to impossible now!”
“Oh I don't know about that.” I hinted to him in the direction I hope he click to.
The young teenage griffons brain seen to freeze from the look he was giving me what I said it, yep Gallus figured it out. “No way! You don't mean-” My smirk grew. “Bu-but you-”
“Yep.”
“Out of all the griffons you-”
“Yep again.”
“Stop cutting me off!”
“Nope.” I chuckled coming to a stop just about 100 feet from the entrance to Griffonstone a pair of wings bending inwards from either side of the road, unhooking myself from the wagon I turn around to Gallus whom hoped down from the wagon. “Here the damn Idol of Boreas.” I pulled it out of the bag holding it out with my talon hand.
Gallus took it with both talon hands. “Whoa! I can't believe it! It really real! And you found it! You know what that means right?”
I took it from him putting it back in my bag. “Yes and didn't you listen to what I said about it? And you wanting the prove it has some for magic coming from it.”
“Why couldn't you make yourself king-”
“No. I don't want that kind of responsibility an also if I did and some how have a flourishing kingdom what happens if this all happens again cause of the idol going missing?” I exclaimed. “Do you want that kind of thing on your mind?”
“But we can do that and you be-”
I decided to take out the idol again and give it to him. “Gallus you decide on what to do with it. Come to me at the castle ruins if you really want what best for the griffons. Cause it seems I am not getting through to you.” I hooked myself up to the wagon walking away.
Gallus called out holding the idol. “That not fair! You can't expect me to make a choice like that!? I am only 12!”
“Life isn't always fair and sometimes to learn to choose right you have to take a chance. So it up to you Gallus.” I continue to walk leaving him with Idol of Boreas. Great work Electuroo you gave the prized idol to Gallus. Hope I am doing the right thing...
Walking back into Griffonstone I head right for the shed where Gilda kept her Scone Wagon, I pushed open the large doors with my talon hands and walked right inside pulling the wagon in tow. Soon as I entered I closed the doors back up. “Gilda I got the supplies!”
“Great! Unload them over to back right.” I give Gilda the thumbs up and unload the wagon placing the crates over to the far right. I noticed Gilda was doing some work on the stow.
I noticed a small box by the table side with a letter on top of it addressed to me. “Gilda where this come from?”
“Beats me, it was delivered by Gabby about ten minutes ago, she said some griffon gave it to her to be delivered right here and not at my house.” Gilda answered without looking at my direction.
I went over to the wagon to unload the last crate. “Did you get anything from Canterlot about building that Café of yours?”
Gilda this time rose her head up and I noticed the blast mask over her face. She pushed it up with a gloved talon hand. “I did. The permit hearing with Princess Celestia is in three weeks time.”
I whistled at that. “Damn that quite the time to wait for a few minutes chat with the ruler of Equestria.”
“It is. I was hoping you be able to do it.” Gilda said to me.
“Why me?”
“Because I don't want to make myself an ass of myself and you most likely be better at it than I am.” Gilda replied and dropped it into my lap, which would work well on my part.
I shrugged. “Fair enough, trust the scone business in me.”
“And I am. If you mess up.”
“Yep got ya loud and clear ma'am.” I saluted. “So what else you like me to do?”
Gabby the grey griffon with some feathers in a ponytail behind comes through a open window landing on the ground. “All done Gilda!” She said with giddy. “What else can I do to help?”
Gilda looked at the two of us. “Help Electuroo unpacking the crates and put them into storage, we can use the wood from the crates afterwards for the stow on my Scone Wagon.”
“Right on it! Come on Electuroo!”
I chuckled. “Sure thing miss hyper eager to do things.” I went over to the crates opening them with Gabby getting to work with unloading all the supplies Gilda need for her scones. I came across one with the baking powder in it. I pulled the invoice out and Gabby told me how many of each ingredients we got to new equipment for the wagon.
After a short time everything was put into storage and finished breaking down the crates into a nice neat pile for use in the wood fire stow. “Here you go Gabby for your work.” Gilda toss a bag of bits to Gabby.
Gabby caught it and look at it. “Really? I did this just to help! I am glad you asked me and doing this make me really happy to help others!”
“Yes really. Are we going to talk about this again for an hour like yesterday dweeb?”
“Nope.” Gabby put the bag of bits in her saddle bags. “I will make good use of the bits!”
Taking the letter and box I jumped up to the open window climbing onto it. “I am off to the castle.”
“Finishing off relocating those dusty old books are you?” Gilda asked.
“Ooo! Can I help?”
I shook my head. “Sorry Gabby, your help be awesome here, but I got help anyway. Gallus hopefully be showing up and giving me a talon.”
Gabby giggled. “Oh I get it!” I laughed too and with a salute I left the two griffons flying over to the castle.
Landing inside I looked around seeing no one else was there. “Well better get to work.” I took the tool bag with hammer and nails in it walking over to the stacks of shelves ready to be assembled. “I don't know what I was thinking of when I decided to turn the old throne room into the achieves for all the books from the destroyed library.” I said to myself.
Not sure how much time had past but I managed to finish building three new set of shelving placing them around the large tree stump the Idol once sat on. Next set will be placed outwards between the gaps made and gave them enough space so if they fell over by some means they wouldn't knock everything over like I seen in films.
I finished shifting the empty book case shelf into place when I heard a clank, turning around I noticed Gallus had showed up and place the Idol of Boreas down on the trunk it once stood at little over 200 years ago if my guess was right. “Here the stupid idol!”
“Thanks.” I said walking up to him putting my talon hand on his side. “Sorry for putting it on you like that but sometimes everyone has to make a tough choice.”
“Yeah yeah I get it.” He sighed. “So... Can I help?” He looked around.
I pulled out the spare hammer and put the handle out to him. “I thought you never ask.” I smirked.
He smiled back taking the hammer from me, I put the idol back in my bag. “So what the letter and that box?” Gallus asked as he started to bang in nails into the shelving for the next set of book shelves to be built.
I rubbed the underside of my beak. “I am not sure. I do not know anyone part from you, Gabby, Gilda, Grandpa Gruff and a few others in the last week or so.” I took the letter opening it up. “Let's see what it says...”
“Dear Poppit-” I paused. “Missy...”
“Missy? Isn't that the one you spoke about saving your life?”
“Yeah...” I sighed and continue to read it out loud. “I like to thank you with all my two hearts, you have really spiced things up when you was my first to give a second chance at living! To my surprise a Flash Point Paradox was created!”
“Flash Point Paradox? That only in the film of the Flash breaking the time barrier to save his mother...” I continue to read. “I only saw it in that one film deary! And to my surprise yet again I say it, you being the first created a shockwave through out time and space! It changed everything from past, present and future! So as a thank you to making things very interesting and a real hooting of a shocker! I sent you a view crystal. It something that ponies have in Equestria to capture important moments.”
I stared at the box and back at the letter. “Have a good second life and hope this find closure from your first life... The truly amazing Missy... PS... I aim to please! Also I did some minor appearance changes! Kiss kiss.”
I rolled my eyes and closed up the letter. “Viewing crystal? I heard they really expensive and only made for the most important things ever. Well that what Grandpa Gruff said.” Gallus said picking up the box. “Wonder what on it.”
Thinking about it I decided to let him see it. “Here let me.” He nods giving me the box. Opening it up I found a roundish crystal inside, taking it I studied it. “How do you activate it?”
“Beats me.” Gallus shrugged putting the hammer down.
I ran my right talon hand over it to I felt something, it glowed on touch. Placing the crystal down I step back and saw it glowing brightly with a projection appear right above us. We both looked up to see a female griffon walking down a isle with griffons either side on seats, all different colours, ages and looking quietly at the one walking down the red carpet to the podium.
She was cream colours with blue tail tip and head feathers, some tied up in a ponytail behind her head. I realised whom it was. “Sis...” I whispered with tears welling up.
“That your sister?” I nod. “What is that place and what is she holding?”
The image seem to zoom in slightly and I saw it the a plaque with my name on it placing it in a free slot and above it says 'The Vanished' and that made me swallow hard. Turning around she put her yellow talon hands on the podium, beak close to the microphone. “A week ago... My amazing annoying big brother did the most amazing act of heroism...” She had tears falling from hers running own the feathers and around the beak onto the wooden varnish.
“Someone crazy attacked our place of work and took aim at me, without blinking or taking a second to think Electuroo dived right in the path of it to save my life... The shot was fatal and like so many that should of pass before their time. He became one of the Vanished...”
“In my heart I know his alive, out there with a second life like so many of the Vanished. I know this because he didn't reappear dead like some had chosen. I do not know what his doing or where he is. But I know we all have to move on and know he'd never return.”
“As so many I speak out to my annoying brother that kept me up many times at night, always saying sorry but end up doing it again. I will miss that and your caring love for your friends and for your family... I will always remember you big brother. And always love you... And some way or form I hope you hear this... Don't let your new life hold you back because your worried about us.”
“Know we will move on and you will always be in our memories. Good bye big brother... Good bye and love you lots... From your annoying little sister Angel...” The image fades and the crystal stop glowing.
Tears continue to fall as I stared at the wall high above. “Thank you... Missy... Thank you...”
Gallus rubbed his eyes to dry his tears away. “I... I...” He looked over at me and I at him. “That-I... That something... Really... Something.”
I smiled softly. “Yeah it is.” Putting the crystal in the box.
“Is that why you been acting all weird like around me? Your trying to be a erm... What is that word... One that not mum or dad but...”
“Brother.”
“Yeah that! Are you?”
“Maybe.”
“Okay if you want to be like that.” Gallus smirked. “I bet that in a weeks time you will be calling me Bro or making me an honorary brother!”
“Okay your on and if you win?”
“I get to come with you to Canterlot in 3 weeks time!”
“Sound fair and if I win you become my honorary brother.” I turn and went back to work on the shelving feeling a lot better inside, better that I can move on.
Gallus blinked a few times. “That doesn't make anysense!”
“Oh it does, you just have to figure that out.” I slyly smiled at him.
Gallus tilted his head in confusion. “I don't get it!” He throws his forelegs up in the air. “Gah! Your one annoying griffon!”
“Well that something you'd have to get use to.” I laughed and he joined in soon afterwards.
Than Gallus stopped instantly realising what was said by my sister.
“Vanished!?”

I am still seeing where this story will go to and lead to. It been fun creating it and continue to press on. As rules state. No editor, no proofreader, just you typing the story.
With me having asperger's syndrome spelling and grammar been a bit of a challenge for me. It kinda why I came up with this idea for writers to just have freedom to create within the Missyplace verse :D

Drinking some tea I worked under candle light in what I dubbed the old throne room as the Griffonstone archives. At the desk I flipped through a page about the Equestria Griffina treaty that was created and signed between Celestia and Guto. I ran a claw finger alongside the founding laws and how even with all hope lost King Guto did something for the griffons.
Writing down on a scroll I put the article I needed to bring up before Princess Celestia tomorrow in Canterlot, my royal hearing was in the later half of the afternoon close to evening. “Right... These laws might be around 200 years old but it seems they still stand weirdly enough.” I said to myself and drink a bit more of the tea till I couldn't feel any more liquid go down my throat.
I look to the canteen picking it up I felt the weight of it being next to nothing. “Bollocks... Out of tea!” I put the quill down and rubbed the sides of my head. I was glad that I had those bandages off my head now. Two weeks of them being taken off and replaced was irritating to the short soft feathers.
Picking up another book I moved it across flipping through a few pages. “How the heck do I even understand this?” Rubbing my head I still could not answer that question. “Basic stuff my ass... Missy must of shoved into my head the knowledge of many written forms of work. Cause I am pretty sure this is old ponish... How the blazes I know that... I have no bloody idea!”
An creak from the large doors caught my attention and turn to see Gilda entering, she walked in looking around with a low whistle before speaking. “This is what you and Gallus been up to? Turning the old dusty useless throne room into a library?”
“Achieves Gilda. I turned this place into a place to store the books from being damaged any more than they have. Keep them safe, I am not sure how many griffons part from Gabby and Grandpa Gruff even think of coming in here let alone read any of these.” I closed the book up.
Gilda came up to the desk, picking up a few of the notes I had written and looking at the books I had on the desk. “You understand all this gibberish?”
I took the notes from her putting them together. “Cause you can't make head and tails of it Gilda doesn't mean it gibberish.”
“Before I turn around and leave you egghead to this. What does all this have to do with tomorrows day court with Princess Celestia?” Gilda sits down tapping her talon claw tips on the wooden surface of another desk with the other talon hand resting under her beak and elbow on the desk.
Picking up the book and flipping through the pages till I found what I was looking for I described what I found that could work in our favour. “Article 13 paragraph 3a is what I plan to use. It will grant instant ownership of the land to said griffon to build a commercial building that will benefit the said village, town or city.”
I raise a talon finger up continue to speak. “And on top of that the crown of Equestria supply you will whatever you need to build it within reason. Even having a work force sent to build it too.” I put the book down before her pointing to the article and relieving the blue prints. “Me and Gabby worked on these blue prints for the café too. Like to see?”
Gilda took the rolled up blue prints of a few sheets and opening them out on the desk over the book she got a good look at it. “Who would of thought I'd be sticking around this dump to not only build a café but end up helping out these selfish feather brains...”
“You seem... Well conflicted...”
“Of course you dweeb! Every since I saved your sorry lion ass everything just been turned upside down! I did everything for myself and only myself! So I can get away from this stupid city! But in one solid month I am now on the verge of getting planning permission to build an scone café!” Gilda got up from the desk poking me as I backed up and she talked.
Rubbing the back of my head I smiled nervously as I reply to her. “Gilda you could of easily kicked me out at any time and yet you allowed Gallus to stay under the same roof now.” I lower my talon hand gesturing as I speak about what she done for me and Gallus. “In a way we been playing the game whom can get one up on each other.”
Gilda hit me on the foreleg. “That we have. But I will always be one up on you.”
“Yep since you saved my sorry lion ass after that explosion.” I pulled out of the bag I always bring with me the semi blood stain bandages.
She stared at them and at me. “If you want to step back into the house tonight your putting that gross thing right in the trash can!”
“Got it boss.” I smiled. “I better get back to finishing up here before settling down for the night.”
Gilda pulled out from under her wing a key throwing it to me, I caught it and looked at it. “That your own key for the house. I don't want you knocking at one in the morning for a third time.”
I put it into my bag. “Only took me waking you up for ya to finally give me a key huh?” I said with a cheeky smile.
Gilda walked up close to me beak only a inch from mine, eyes so close we could easily see our own reflections through our golden yellow and brown eyes. “Not at all Electuroo. I had you under my roof for almost a month. I know I am not going to get rid of ya and I don't wanna.” I felt something around my right hind leg.
It was her tail, she turn her body around and got me good. “Ah crap...” With a pull of her tail my right hind leg pulled right under me and the sudden pull causes me to loose my balance and fall over.
I was on my back with my bag slid away from me, soon I felt talon hands on my wrists pinning me to the ground with Gilda looking down at me as I looked up at her, she leans down to my right feathered ear and whispers. “Yet again I-”
I moved my hind legs around her waist causing her to squawk in surprise as I rolled us over backwards and now I was the one on top pinning Gilda down. “Surprised?” I grinned and got off her.
Gilda rolled over onto her paws and talons. “Yes, where the heck you learned that? Feather brain.”
“I saw in a few movies and didn't know it would work. Look like it did.” I explained to her. “I can show ya how to do it if you like, like that tail grab you did to me multiple times.” I offered an exchange of moves.
Gilda walked over to the doors putting her talon hand on it. “I think that fair dweeb.” She pushed it open. “How much flight time have you had Electuroo?”
I thought about it and shrugged. “Not much. I fly every so often. Why?” I grabbed my bag putting all the papers into it.
Gilda came back over and grabbed me by the foreleg blowing out the candles. “Come on we flying.”
“Do I have a choice?”
“No dweeb! Now come!” She pulls on my foreleg and I followed her out of the old throne room into the cool air. “It time to fly at night and learn to use those senses of yours.” She tap my beak, opening her wings taking off into the night sky light by the full moon.
Not wanting to argue with a griffon that can kick my lion tail in more ways than one I opened my blackish grey wings up and with a few powerful flaps I took off after Gilda into the sky. “Gilda what the bloody blazes we going?” I noticed we was getting some distance from Griffonstone heading south by my guess.
Gilda flew faster and I had to flap a few times harder to keep up. “You will see Electuroo.” After about ten minutes of flying we came into view what look like a mountainousness landing strip with run down buildings with plants growing all over it. “Now what can you tell me of this place?”
We glide around a few times as I took in the detail. I could see on the tarmac through all the cracks and plants growing through it the same emblem on the train station. “It look like an runway of some kind.”
Landing on the tarmac Gilda explains to me about it. “I found this place about two weeks ago, it right smack in the middle of all the villages, towns and Griffonstone. I think this was the griffons own version of a Wonderbolt HQ and academy.”
Already knowing what Wonderbolts are I played on it. “Wonderbolts? I read something in one of the books about Wonderbolts but it was only a reference.”
“It Equestria's flight performance team slash elite fliers that called upon emergencies from what Dash told me about it a few years back.” Gilda walked down the runway with me alongside her looking around at the ruined buildings. “One thing I don't get, this place reminds me of Manehatten. Did King Guto have something that was way ahead of the ponies going on here?”
I noticed something that couldn't be possible, flying over to it quickly to not waste time I came to a massive hanger inside was a airship made of metal and in perfect condition. “No way! It a real airship! This thing is a real bloody airship and look like it not aged at all!” I went to get near it got hit by a magic shield rippling from the impact.
Landing a few feet away I rubbed my beak. “Hehe.” Gilda laughed. “I should of warned you about the shield. My bad.”
“That explains why it look so new...” I noticed something on side of it. A vent and inside turbines. “This thing is a Turbojet! That impossible!”
This got Gilda's attention as she joined me to near the rear the airship. “What is a Turbojet? And why is it impossible?”
The cabals, the shape of the airship, the deflated bag looked extremely strong. “It has blades that spin inside, it sucks in air and with fuel that burned creates thrust if I remember correctly. Also from the way this is built in it could also turn a full 180 degrees.” I looked at how it was built into the air ship. “Gilda this airship alone would put the most advance airships in the world to shame! This alone is at least 300 years ahead of it time when built at least!”
Gilda whistled. “So your saying that if we find a way to get through this and find out how it ticks the griffons would have something that even out shine the ponies?”
Rubbed my head. “Now I am thinking the lose of the idol wasn't by a thief looking for a quick buck. I think he was sent there to derail the griffon kingdom...”

“The Griffons was growing technologically faster than the rest of the world. This alone is proof.” I walked around it noticing the hanger was built to last and showed being over 200 years old.
Gilda walking with me was looking at me with wary eyes. “You don't think that Equestria was involved?”
I shook my head. “Not the slightest. The final treaty with Princess Celestia proof of that. Why do you think griffons are not broke or on the verge of dying out? She been supplying the kingdom... Well what left of it Bits every month to each settlement. Even they are run down. Even going as far installing gas and electric lines through out them.”
Gilda rubbed the side of her neck. “Okay dweeb you got a point but whom do this though?”
“Not a clue...” I place my talon hand gentle on the shield feeling it pulsing with magic from a light blue shimmer of light. “So no one else knows about it?”
Gilda shook her head. “No one. I even asked Grandpa Gruff if there any history that we had something close to the Wonderbolts and he said we didn't.”
We left the hanger and I noticed that the wooden shells still around in growth of trees and plants showed other airships all abandon as well training equipment. “I think this place is like the academy but also making airships.” I looked to the tower and flew right up to it.
Pushing the door open we entered what I can easily see is a control room, it was filled with computers with keyboards and a set of radar screens as well faded papers scattered around. Windows smashed and an rusty set of headsets with binoculars. This all remind me of a 1980s control tower from movies I seen. “Whoa look at all this! How advance were we?” Gilda picked up a headset looking at it.
“Gilda where I am from this stuff is about 40 years out of date. This stuff compared from what I know of Equestria so far put it to shame. But I have a serious question about all this stuff...”
“And that be? Other learning where you once came from is more advance than this.” Gilda put down the headset.
I picked up a few sheets of paper, barely able to see what on it but waving it back and forwards I gave my answer. “Why is everything only look like it been decaying for the last 100 years and not 200?”
Gilda scratched the side of the face. “I only noticed this place because I was flying back late at night from Griffdon after doing a late last delivery of the scones to a griffon.”
“And during the day?”
“Never seen this place. First time flying over at night but at day I couldn't find it so I thought it was me seeing things.” Gilda answered. “It happened again last night when I was flying back from another late night run. So I stuck around till dawn to find the whole place just seem to vanish at first dawn.”
Gilda looked out of the smashed windows. “Guto found some sort of magic to hide the place?” Gilda turn around to me.
I put the papers down and step up to a large map of the lands around Griffina and Equestria, this map was airtight sealed showing no wear and tear over the years. “Gilda I think it is. This place is magical phased out of our reality by the day. That would explain lack of decay.”
“Why would King Guto go to all that trouble to hind this place?” Gilda step up beside me.
“Not a clue...”
“What are all these lines?” She point her finger to the map moving it along one of the lines.
“If I am to guess trade routes. Griffina from the look of things was a major trader to all corners of the neighbouring lands.” I took notice how much land the griffons had as well back at Guto's ruling. “Wow... Look at all that land in orange. That was the Griffon Kingdom back 200 years ago.”
Gilda was surprised, the east coast of what is Equestria once owned by the griffons. “We only a shadow of what we once were...” Gilda grabbed the map off the wall. “All because of some stupid idol we lost we became selfish no good for nothing griffon! ARGH!” She threw it across the control room, it smashed against the wall with the map falling out of it among the pieces of glass and wood.
“I don't get how one idol could bring down the griffon kingdom. It doesn't make sense...” I went over to the destroyed frame.
As I went to pull the map free from it Gilda hit her fist against the wall. “Those dweebs deserved it if they went down hill cause of some piece of gold!”
I picked up the map and noticed a letter under it. “Huh? What this?” I put the map to the side and picked up the letter. “Gilda look what I found under the map.”
“A sealed envelope? I doubt that thing is readable.”
I pulled it open from the seal with a white talon claw on it and took out the letter. “It was typed and printed.”
“And it says?” Gilda came over to me looking over my right side taking a look at the letter.
“To whom ever read this letter
If you are a griffon and found this you will not be held captive by the White Talons...” I paused and quickly look around. “Gilda can you see any griffons part from us?”
Gilda looking out the shattered windows her eyes darting left and right. “No I haven't but I feel really nervous about being here now...”
“That makes two of us...” I continued to read the letter.
“If you are a griffon and found this you will not be held captive by the White Talons the elite flyers of or what was the pride of the country of Griffina. As you've came across what left of the airfield that most likely discovered the magic placed upon the White Talon Academy.
The rest of the kingdom will have forgotten by greed and hate as the griffons revert over the last few years to the selfish greedy griffons we was once were before King Grover brought them all together with the Idol of Boreas that was lost into the abyss close to the capital Griffonstone.
Following through with Protocal Wing Wipe, using all the treasure funds and using the greed of the griffons we wiped clear most of our advancements through out the many years rewriting the history of Griffina with the aid of Princess Celestia of Equestria giving up our lands on the east coast to her and her ponies.
But I never told her or the ponies of this academy and finding a spell to cast upon this land to hide it in her sun. The White Talons loyal to the crown will keep this airfield safe and the G.K. Guto the pride of all griffons. She may never have her maiden voyage but I be damned to see our most advance airship rot after all the work we have done to it.
She was right though, the day would come and the letter I will type. My day as king has came to a end and as I leave this letter to be found under the map that will be smashed by an female griffon in rage. She will be with another not of our lands with four instead of three... May you find what I lost...

“And how did he know about me?” I sat down against the wall holding the map rolling it up and held it against my hind legs twitching my tail about. “This is some evening flight...”
Gilda sat down next to me. “Yeah it has... King Guto that dweeb the last king of the griffon kingdom knew about us before we knew each other...” She looked upon the letter once again. “What did he mean by the White Talons though?”
“Not a clue. Do you think Grandpa Gruff will have anything on them?” I asked
Gilda shrugs. “If I know. But I am not sure about telling any griffon about this place...” We left the watch tower flying up high above the airfield. “Look at this place! It the last of the pride that was once part of us griffons! If we tell Princess Celestia about this...”
“It could be turn upside down and everything taken...” I had to believe her on this one but I did have the idol which I could maybe use to stop it.
“Ponies are not to know of this location.” We heard a gruff deep voice quickly turning around flying right in front of us now was a griffon with a blackish grey flight suit with white lightning marks running down the neck to the mid way of the waist and over each eye slot. This griffon in the moon light was red tail with dark red fluff and wings, yellow beak. On the flanks of the suit was a white talon.
“The White Talons...” We said together, face to face with the golden eyes of this griffon that came out of the blue.
He than did something unexpected, bowing his head and with a closed fist just in front of his forehead in salute manner, saying directly to me...

Having a hood of some kind shoved over your head and forced to go where ever the one that hooded you wanted to go wasn't something I was expecting. Soon after landing at whatever we were at I soon felt the feeling of moving downwards and the hood pulled off my head, blinking a few times for the light to adjust I was face to face was a yellow beak and red feathered griffon face with dark red feathers sticking out of the top of his head, six large feathers I counted.
I saw the same golden eyes that looked at me through the flight suit eye slots, it was pulled down back of his neck resting on the back. “So the one that called me 'sire' finally let us see. Got to say that was a nice plough there.”
Gilda spoke up next. “What the big idea grabbing us like that!? And where the heck are we!?”
I took a look around since they wasn't replying for a moment, seeing there was a light blue one and a green griffon, guessing from their beak shapes they were close to the native birds of South America. “We in an elevator and from the look of the metal walls racing upwards an reinforced glass tubular one.”
The red one with the gruff voice wasn't speaking gruff any more. He was speaking as a semi well spoken person from my home would sound like. “Indeed it is and got to admit that all of the generations of preparing for this day is quite surreal to say the least.”
“Can you go back to that other voice, you sound like a dork than a so call elite flyer.” Gilda said in annoyance.
“No.” He said calmly and Gilda groans. “I am Captain Garrot lead griffon of the flight team White Talons and we had to put those hoods over you two for protocol.”
I was about to ask when the walls vanish to see a large city on the cliff face with roads and a massive airship tethered to what look like a sky dock. “Holy cow! A city built on cliff! A CITY BUILT ON BLOODY CLIFF!”
“Okay... That is impressive! I seen Canterlot a few times and thought that was impressive but this takes it on a whole another level!” Even Gilda was surprised and amazed by what we was seeing.
The female green griffon with light blue eyes with blue and yellow head feathers speaks. “I am Swifttalon second in command of the White Talons and Guto City is built into the mountain where the plateau is above us.”
I noticed the night sky with the moon high above with the plateau above hanging over parts of the city. “The whole city built around the cliff isn't it? Your whole city is the mountain... Oh wow wow wow!”
“I am Graffer wing griffon to Swifttalon.” The light blue griffon spoke next. “And yes it is.”
Gilda whistled as the lift slows down. “No wonder you did what you had to do. This is what I call a griffon city!”
The lift enters into an building coming to a step by a set of doors, opening with those doors we all step out into corridor. “Please follow me.” Garrot requested and we followed with the two other White Talons behind us.
We walked up to a door that he opened and we walked through to find that we was in some conference room with a semi round bending table with many seats around it. The view behind was of a artificial lit garden with flowers, trees, grass, benches and a fountain. “Please take a seat.” Garrot gestured to the seats.
I open my wing up in front of Gilda, she look to me and I looked at her with a shake of my head. “The city looks amazing from what we saw but I seen enough flicks to know there more going on then blind fold and show.”
Gilda could see where I was coming from. “The dweeb right. What your game? I saw and heard you call him sire!” She points at the captain of the flight team.
“That is correct.” Garrot sat down at the table. “King Guto left instructions for the White Talons, orders that been past down from one flight team after the other to keep this city safe and hidden from the world. Those orders was to wait till the day the Unblood heir to arrive from a tear of the heavens from a dimension that is fourth.”
The door opens and we turn around to a white griffon walking in with a black blazer on with a white shift against white fur and feathers. The yellow talons and beak really suck out on this griffon. “Captain I have the files on Electuroo as requested.”
“Thank you Snow. That will be all.” He took the folder and the griffon leaves not before his sapphire blue eyes locked on to mine.
“File on me?”
“Indeed.” He open it up and showed a photo of something coming out of a crack in the sky slamming deep into the abyss.
Gilda took it and turn to me. “Your that thing slamming into the abyss aren't ya dweeb?”
“Yeah... Fired like-” I paused and anger started to build inside me. “Oh no no no no and no!”
“Electuroo...”
“Oh I can see where this is going!” I step back. “Unblood heir! Your bloody king made me the heir to this legacy! I am not your pre-destiny paradox! I am just me! Simple me! I don't do crap that lead!”

“Wait what?” I blinked with a frown with my anger melting away as I stood there confused. “So... What is it you want of me? If I am this unblood heir?”
Garrot waved the two other griffons to sit down and as they did he answered my questions. “The Unblood Heir will find what was lost. The White Talons are to follow the orders of the heir and allow he or her to follow their own path. But to tell this at the legacy city of the last king of Griffina, the fourteenth ruler King Guto.”
Swifttalon speaks next. “You have what brought the golden era of griffon kind and the end of it.”
“Aye.” Graffer nods. “Best keep that thing in your impossible bag, King Guto knew something was a miss laddy. That is why he started to build this city, the runes that hide the city to the progress that continued beyond his life.”
Gilda turn to me with anger grabbing me by the feathered skin of my chest pulling me up to her almost beak to beak touching. “You have the Idol of Boreas don't you?”
I saw Garrot raise his talon hand up to the others stopping them from moving in to pull Gilda away. “Yes...”
“Tell me why I shouldn't beat the living buck out of you?”
“Simple... Raise and Fall of the griffon kingdom, the greed, the anger and the lack of care for each other.”
Gilda growls and let me go. I rubbed my chest not before she slap me hard across the face. I put my talon hand over the part she slapped. “That for keeping something like that a secret!” And than she hugged me tightly. “And this is for keeping it out of arms reach of any griffon.”
I had my forelegs out with her head just past mine as I felt my torso against hers as he continued to hug me. I finally gave me and return the hug to her and we let go. “I am surprised Gilda... Why?”
“Dweeb you been living under my roof for the last month. I gotta to know you, feather brain.” She poke me in the chest a few times. “And one thing I know for sure you care for those around you even they don't care about you and the fact you told me your not from our reality a week ago.” Gilda held up the photo showing me crashing into the Abysmal Abyss.
I took it from her looking at it. “Also the fact Gilda, I could of laid claim to the throne of the kingdom but I didn't and will not.” I put the photo down on the table sitting down at it.
Gilda sat down next to me. “Yep that too. Electuroo.”
Garrot pulled out a file from under the one with me on it. “This is the current flight team of the White Talons. Sire. The best of the best fliers as well at stealth are within this. There is a total of ten.”
“Just like the Wonderbolts. They have ten members in their team too.” Gilda stated.
“Aye lass that is true but they are more of a performance squad than one that prepared for trouble. We are the elite flyers of the White Talons because each of use has traits that work off each other and alone.” Graffer spoke.
I got an understanding how they are. “If I getting this straight. On one side you have elite flyers that perform as a team almost flawlessly and on the other side you have the elite flyers that work as a team to use the skills they have to be the best they can be at keeping their keen safe.”
“That is correct, sire.” Garrot confirmed.
I took the file and noticed there was a date on top of it. “I am unfamiliarly with this. What does 901AI stands for?”
“That stands for After Idol. The day King Grover was crowded.” Garrot answered.
“And this is the current date?”
“Yes feather brain it is! But to the ponies of Equestria is 998CA” Gilda confirmed and told me of the date in Equestrian too.
So either two years or a little less or over to Nightmare Moon depending when the Summer Sun Festive was. That great to know I guess...
I untied and open the file. “Got it load and clear.” I went on and read the files in my mind.

Personality wise he seem to have a strange swift in mood when wearing the flight suit to it fullest talking not well mannered but in a gruff and direct voice that brings authority. Even with this oddity he excels at his job as Flight Team Leader of the White Talons.

Profile: Planner of White Talons, always has schedule for all team members. Swifttalon seemingly has a plan for everything and when that is thrown out of place she tend to get stressed out of it but has learned to adapt to sudden changes.
When it comes to history of Guto City she will know more about it than most. She has a direct way of speaking and rarely smiles. Swifttalon works well with her wing griffon Gaffer Talon, they are a solid team and the only griff to even get her to smile.

Sparky also the designer and engineer behind the White Star airship for long range White Talons operations, the White Star being his pride and joy. The airship is not only a mobile base but also a diplomatic vessel.

I look to the files and stared at the hippogriff members, that is when I found one more piece of paper. All it had was one it.
The Precognition. Advisor to King Guto... Precognition... Wait that someone that can see into the future!
“-arrival that night we were foretold the location by the writings of the-”
“Precognition...” I spoke up.
“Y-yes... Part of it was to keep a close eye on the one that found what was lost in the abyss as blacker than night!” Garrot confirmed.
“I am going to ask this once and once only. If you don't answer truthfully Gilda has complete freedom to be the living heck out of you for spying on us.” I said narrowly my sights on the flight captain.
Gilda grinned. “Oh this got to be good if he agree to me on this.” She had her free talon hand pulled back closed into a fist ready to hit him.
“I-I agree to the terms!”
“Good. Precognition... Her name, what was her name?”
If I am right and I believe I am cause this is something she would do to liven things up...
“Missy!”
Gilda lets go upon the name with him landing on his flank and the others coming to his aid. “Missy!?”
“Yes that-”
“I knew it...” All the lights in the room flickered and the large screen in the room turns on. We all turn to see a griffon wearing a purple dress white beak and white feathers wearing a purple hat. “Missy...”
“Ah poppit you figured it out as I knew you would.”
“How about we cut to the chase and show your true self.” I said directly at the screen.
She rolled her eyes. “Fine...” With a few taps of a device on her arm the griffon was gone and the time lord we love and hate appeared in her true form. “Better?”
“Much.” I sat back down on the chair turning it to be face to face of the screen. “Let me guess before we start. This is a transcript conversation over time isn't it?”
“Oh aren't you the smart one?” She chuckled. “Yes I took a page from the tenth doctor's page. Got to say 'Don't Blink' a real thriller! Good way of saying hi to the Weeping Angels!”
All of them looked very surprised by the appearance of Missy. “I like you to meet the Time Lord Missy...” I put my talon hand out to the screen. “The one that saved my life and taking the second life from her I gave up everything I once had...”
“And I know all you lovelies.” She turn to Gilda's direction. “Pigeon.”
“PIGEON!? I am a griffon you dweeb! Gilda!” She flew right at the screen to punch it.
“I am not here Pigeon, are you going to punch a flat screen and electric yourself?” Missy smiled calmly.
Gilda growls and pulls back from punching the screen. “Show yourself you wuss!”
Missy turn to Garrot. “I believe you have a question deary. It says so right here.” She brought up a tablet and point to it.
Garrot step up to the screen as Gilda lands by him still glaring at the screen. “That is correct ma'am. Why did you aid King Guto? That is why this city even exist or we even having this strange transcribed conversation.”
“To make things interesting and got to say what you White Talons and the rest of Guto City done is far better than I expected! You all surprised me! Even for years to go to the moment I get handed this very conversation.” She tap a few buttons on the device on her wrist and five windows appeared around her each showing us.
Swifttalon waved and saw herself wave. “The cameras in the room that records everything that goes on in this conference room! Of course! That how!”
Gilda tilt her head and watched herself do it and the vision one in front was face to face. “Okay! What kind of weird magic is this?”
“Not magic, technology.” I stated. “You seen a camera wheel right?” She nods. “Think of that but 20 times smaller with images and sound travelling through small black or grey cables like that you see on the wall there.” I point to the wall.
Gilda look at the cable and back to me. “Your serious aren't ya? Feather brain.”
“Yes I am.” I crossed my forelegs. “Missy I know this doesn't count as your yearly visit so can we get right to the point please.”
Missy smiled. “I like that about you and that why I made you my first!” She chuckled. “Now... Graffer be a dear and open the door.”
Graffer walked up to the door. “Okay Lass.” He opens it to squawk in surprise and flap his wings jumping back a few feet to find a pile up of six members of the White Talons. “What in griff feathers are you lot doing ears dropping in on this conversation!? It all recorded!”
Missy laughed. “I enjoy that everytime I watch it, that just so classical that it will never get old.”
“Guco not among them.” I stated.
Gilda frown slightly. “We have a pile up of griffons and erm... Griffs with... pony and zebra... halves?” Gilda tilted her head puzzled by what she was seeing. “That new...”
“Youngster that would be the griffon cousins, Hippogriffs.”
“Hippogriffs? It weird...”
“As we would be to them with lion paws and not hooves.”
Both me and Gilda quickly turn around to find a elderly griffon in a flight suit, I point to her with a open beak and turn my head to the door and back again. “H-how-”
“That cub you will have to figure out.” She walk between us to the seat sitting down at it.
Gilda look back and to Guco and back again. “How the hay did she get by us?”
“That what I want to know...” I replied.
Laughter from Missy had the pile of griffs getting up on their paws, hooves and talons. We turn to the screen too. “Ooo poppit that was too good to pass up! Now back to business with all present.” Missy tapped on the arm device. “White Talons and guests. I am the dear that helped your king 200 years ago or so, give it a year or many either way. Time perfect. What happening now will be given to me in the future, how or when that all timey wimey.”
I rolled my eyes. “Please explain to us.” Garrot speaks to Missy. “We found out recently that the griff that suppose to be a griff was in fact some sort of strange looking mammal.” Garrot ruffled his wings. “Something about Time Lord, that would mean time travel and explain how you came to be creating this conversation.”
“That is correct Captain Garrot.” Missy put both hands together moving them down to her lap. “Now deary here is what going to happen. Once this chit-chat is over you all going to be loaded and ready to go for Canterlot via the White Star in 45 minutes.”
“And why would we do that?” Garrot asked.
I slap my forehead. “Never! Garrot! Never ask a Time Lord that question! We will get it now!”
Missy grinned and it gave me the shivers causing me to ruffle my wings. “Correct.” And there it was, she brought up a newspaper. “Now you can see this photo and head line.”
“Ahhhh crap...” I knew it!
Gilda stared at the headline. “White Star of the White Talons landed at Air Pier in Canterlot...”She saw the picture of herself, me, Gabby, Gallus, Garrot, Swifttalon and Blazeclaw walking down the ramp. “That can't be right! That two days from now!”
“And it set it stone. Garrot have a team pick up Gallus, Gabby and the old rude griffon Grandpa Gruff.” She turn to Sparky. “Sparky be a dear and rush off you got a air ship to set say in...” She tap a few more time. “45 minutes starting now. Ta-ta!” The screen goes black.
“Why are you staring at the screen Sparky! Get a move on cub!” Guco shouted at him.
Sparky blinked and shook his head. “Right! I be right on it! I mean I am! My ship! My design! M-”
“SPARKY!” They said in-unison, with a surprised squawk he rushed out of the open door and was gone like a bullet.
Gilda now asked the big question. “Can some griff tell me why reading a newspaper two days from now means 'set in stone' ?”
“We explain it on the way to the White Star.” Garrot replied and we started to leave the room.
Gilda calls out. “Explain to me now you dweebs! DWEEBS!”
