The mane 6 are battling Discord when he sends them to the island of Banoi. There they have no wings or magic and have to rely on a brony author named Daniel. So he has to keep them safe while trying to find a way to get off the island and make sure he does not lose his mind and stay alive but not but not the dead ones. Along the way the evil Discord tells them how he hid the elements and they must find them to get back to Equestria. They discover that they must make a choice that could destroy both of the worlds if made poorly.
