Author's Note

I am not trying to be needy here, but is it possible to get some comments? I just want to know what you all think about the story and the chapters, that's all.

Maya the Siren

Mac had just jump down a 3 feet cliff and landed on the ice, he was on his way to Southern Shelf to kill a midget that was riding a Bullymong. Mac had done a lot of thing he never thought he would do, save a princess from a nightmare, battle Discord the spirit of disharmony, helping Dusk get a castle in Ponyville, which he thinks is stupide. Who puts a castle in the middle of a small town like Ponyville? He would have said that he help save the crystal ponies but, the only thing he did was the heavy work. If there was something heavy that needed lifting, that was his job, nothing more. He didn’t miss it, that’s for sure. And now, now he was on his way to kill a midget riding a Bullymong. He couldn’t help but smile of what he had gotten himself into.

As he keep walking, he could see some house on his right side and there was bandits there, that was not his destination. His destination was right in front of him. He could see a giant house, a smaller house, two containers and an electric fence. Also, bandits, at least six of them. Mac decided to try and sneak up on them, he was not the stealthies pony, but he gave it chance. It looked like he could get in undetected on the left of the giant building, Mac crouch down and started to move towards them.

Somehow, he managed to sneak past all of the bandits. They didn’t even notice him, or they were incredibly stupid. Mac went for the last one. Mac hide behind the small house that on the left, he took a look around the corner and could see a bandit just leaning on the house he was hiding behind. He was wearing a green jacket with red mask that was covering his face. Mac didn’t care much of what he was wearing, this guy was in his way. Mac snuck up on him, grabbed his neck and snap it before he could alert his friends.

Mac then dragged his corps around the corner so no one could find the body, not right away. As soon as he had rounded the corner. “Hey Mike, where are you.” Mac quickly hid, he stood against the wall. “Don’t tell me that you are taking a piss again.” Mac took a peak around the corner as saw another bandit walking towards him, with an assault rifle in his hands, he hid again so he didn’t get spotted right by the bandit.

Mac waited for the bandit to come around the corner, when he did. “What’s up?” Before the bandit could do anything, Mac grabbed both the bandits shoulder and slammed his face into the wall of the house, Mac slammed him so hard that he heard a crack, the bandit was dead. “Sorry about that.” Mac said as he pick up the assault rifle, he study it and saw that it was in pretty good shape. “Huh, I guess bandits are good for something.” It even came with bullets. He saw then name Dahl. “Dahl? What’s that?” Mac had no idea, he just shrugged it off and hang the rifle around his arm.

Now, there was four of the left and sneaking was probably not possible anymore. There was no more places to hide anymore, time to go on the offence. Mac took out his sniper rifle, step out from his hiding spot and took aim at the bandit that was scouting on top of the large building, he pulled the trigger and saw the bandits head explode, which alerted the rest of the bandits.

The bandit that was closest saw him first. “Hey, there’s the Vault Hunter captain Flynt want. Shot him.” And with that said, the bandits started to shoot at him.

Mac took cover so he didn’t get hit by the bullets he had a shield, but he didn’t take any chances. He placed the sniper rifle on his back and took out the assault rifle. “Time to see if this is any good.” He waited for the bandit to stop shooting, when that happened, Mac came out and fired a few round into the bandit that was shooting at him, he hit and killed the bandit right away.

That just angrier the rest of them. “That was a mistake.” Then one bandit decided to throw a grenade at Mac, it landed right before his feet.

“Oh shit.” Mac ran as fast as he could but unfortunately, he was caught in the explosion and that send him flying forwards. He landed on the ground, face first. The shield took most of the damaged, but it still hurt. “Fuck, that hurt.” He was about to get up but was pushed down again by a foot, he then felt a gun on his head.

“End of the line, Vault Hunter.” Said the bandit that had his gun pointed at Mac’s head.

Mac closed his eyes and waited for the end but, it never came. He felt the foot on his back and the gun disappeared. “Don’t you bandits know that three against one isn’t fair.” That voice was not male, it was female. Mac looked to his right and there stood the most beautiful female he had ever seen, he thought that when he first saw her, and he still do think that she is beautiful. She had light blue hair, she was wearing a yellow and black overalls that only one sleeves, she was also wearing some black pants. She had some tattoos on her left arm.

“It’s another Vault Hunter, kill her.” Said another bandit.

Mac was about to act when the woman pulled out a gun and shoot two of the bandit in the head and then she threw the bandit she had suspended in the air, into the ice wall. Killing him.

The women then looked at Mac with a smile. “What’s up handsome? The names is Maya.”

Maya, the siren.

Mac tried to say something but was lost for words, he had never seen such power before. Only unicorns and alicorns could lift other from the ground and throw them around.

Maya walked over to Mac and offered him a hand he gladly took it she help him up. “I see that I got her just in time.” She said with a smile.

“Yeah, thanks by the way.” Mac told her while rubbing his shoulders.

“You ok?” She asked with a worried voice.

“I took a grenade to the back I am just glad that my shield took some of the damaged, but it still hurt like hell.” Maya nodded. “I’m guessing that Hammerlock told you where I was.”

“Yes, and it thought I would help you take down this midget that was riding a Bullymong.”

“I don’t mind the help.” Then he realize she didn’t know his name. “I’m Big Macintosh by the way, just call me Mac. It’s easier.”

“Nice to meet you Mac. Now, let’s hunt a midget.”

Mac nodded. “After you.”

“What a gentle man.” It wasn’t right, but Mac didn’t complain. He was stallion not a man.

They walked over to where the power box that was giving the fence it power, Maya was about to bull out the fuse. “As soon as I pull this out, there will nothing stopping the Bullymong for attacking us, ready?” Mac ready his assault rifle. “I’ll take that as a yes.” She bulled the fuse, electric fence dropped, Bullymongs attack them.

Mac fired of some shots that killed some of the small once, then the big one attack. Mac sift to the shout gun, taking out two of them before he had to reload. The last one tried to jump Mac, lucky for him, Maya used her power to stop the Buyllymong in the air, she then threw the animal into the ice wall killing it instantly.

When they were done, Mac decided to ask Maya something. “That power, what is it?”

“Have you never seen a siren power before?” Mac just shook his head. “Well, that was it and it called Phaselock and it give me the ability to stop one enemy for a few seconds.”

The first time Mac saw her power was on the train and it didn’t scare him at all, somehow it made her even more beautiful, he didn’t know why.

With the Bullymongs out of the way, they continued towards Southern Shelf.
