The Werewolf Guardian of Canterlot High

“So have you come to your senses?” Zach asked in a distorted voice.

“Like hell I’ll let you lay a finger on them.” Max responded in a raspy voice as he slowly walked to Zanch and then began sprinting to him.

“Fine, have it your way!” Zach replied as he began sprinting to Max.

Zach let out a coyote scream as Max growled and the two slammed into each other and began fighting. However, Max was the first to hit the ground as Zach got on top of him and began clawing at him and punching him.

“Why are you doing this, what about the Agency, what about everything we worked towards?” Max asked as he fought back.

“Shut up! I’m tired of protecting low life humans and being bossed around by them! I quit!” Zach responded as he clawed into one of Max’s legs, causing him to scream in pain.

“Fine, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, run now!” Max shouted as he blocked the punches and claws.

“O-okay.” The two girls said in unison as they ran to the parking lot.

“Oh where do you think you’re going?” Zach replied as he shifted into a humanoid version of a Northern Chupacabra and started running after Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy.

However before he can reach them Max grabbed Zach by the spine and threw him against a Redwood, hard enough to cause the tree to come crashing down onto Zach. He let out a scream as Max made his way limping to Zach who was now gone.

“I guess this means we’re no longer friends Zach...” Max said as he then collapsed and transformed back into his human form.

“Max!” Fluttershy shouted as she and Pinkie Pie ran back to the now unconscious Max who had blood pouring out of his leg, chest and face.

After an ambulance was called and Max was rushed to the ER. Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Twilight, Rarity, Sunset and Ms. K arrived at the hospital and rushed to Max who after an emergency procedure was now out of the woods and awake.

“Max are you okay?” Sunset asked.

“Heh, I’ve had worse.” Max joked.

“What happened?” Ms. K asked.

“I-it’s our fault.” Pinkie Pie chimed up.

“Yea, we were spying on him and Zach when we got caught...” Fluttershy with a guilty look.

“Why were you spying on him?” Ms. K asked now annoyed.

“W-well I saw Pinkie Pie spying and I kinda got sucked into it.” Fluttershy said.

“I-I wanted to find out if he’s a secret agent when Zach transformed into some type of monster.” Pinkie Pie replied.

“What do you mean monster?” Twilight asked.

“I-I don’t know it was humanoid but then Max transformed into a wolf like creature and the two of them began fighting.” Fluttershy explained.

“I guess it’s no use in hiding it now. It’s true, Max, Zach and I work in an international agency that deals with mythological creatures, cryptids, and supernatural stuff.” Ms. K replied.

“But what is Max and Zach then?” Applejack asked.

“I’m a Werewolf while Zach is a Skin Walker, Ms K and I were sent here to investigate some supernatural incident in this city but more specifically Canterlot High.” Max explained.

“S-so all of those days of hanging out with us was just an l-lie?” Fluttershy asked as she began to cry.

“No, I truly do see you seven as my friends. The only friend that I had was Zach, but since he quit and tried to kill Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy he’s no longer my friend.” Max explained.

“O-oh.” Fluttershy responded.

“So what do you mean by supernatural incidents?” Sunset asked.

“Well, mainly reports of Demons, an Angel and Demon fighting, holes opening up to another world, Monsters in malls, three Hippocampus looking creatures, several rainbows raining down, a giant Alicorn in the sky. When I first got to the front entrance I felt some kind of energy come from the front of the school and that same energy coming from you seven.” Max explained causing Sunset and Twilight to blush.

“U-um...one of the Demons and the Angel was me...” Sunset explained while embarrassed.

“And I was the Demon fighting the Angel.” Twilight added.

“Okay, but what about the energies?” Ms. K asked.

“Well I think the energies are because we have powers. I have the ability to see someone’s memories/ mind, Twilight has telekinesis, Rainbow dash has super speed, Rarity can create gems, Pinkie Pie can create explosions using sweets, Fluttershy can talk to animals and Applejack has super strength. We kinda get our powers from magic and these gems.” Sunset explained.

“So that’s what happened.” Max responded.

“Well, since all of you know about us I’m going to ask you not to tell anyone about the Agency?” Ms. K asked.

“Of coarse.” The girls said in unison.

“Thanks, but can you seven leave the room?” Ms K asked.

“Okay, lets go.” Sunset said as the seven girls left the room.

“Now they’re gone, what happened between you and Zach?” Ms K asked.

Max proceeded to explain to Agent K about what had happened.

“Well I need to inform the superiors about this. Stay safe and get well soon.” Ms K responded as she smiled and walked out as Max’s friends walked back in.

“Listen, I’m sorry for lying to all of you about why I was there.” Max said.

“Pfft don’t be darling, now when are you getting to get out of the hospital?” Rarity asked.

“Well in about a day or so, being a Werewolf does have it’s perks.” Max said.

“U-um we brought your Motorcycle.” Fluttershy said.

“Thanks.” Max replied.

“Hold on, I want to know about what your Agency does?” Twilight asked.

“Well...we’re an international agency that protects mythological creatures and cryptids from humans as well as protect humans from them and investigate the supernateral. My previous assignment had me save a Sasquatch family from two hunters.” Max explained.

“Wait Bigfoot's real?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“Yep, and there’s all sorts of sub-species of Bigfoot, like the Yeti, Skunk Ape, Dogman, Yowie, etc” Max explained.

“What’s a Yo-we?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“It’s like the Australian Bigfoot.” Max explained.

“Oh, what about Dogman? Is that like related to Werewolves or Bigfoot?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Well it’s actually a distant hybrid that became it’s one species.” Max responded.

“I’m confused, what’s a Skin Walker?” Sunset asked.

“It’s a Native American shifter that has the ability to take on qualities of any living thing as long as it consumes some of that creature’s DNA, however their transformations are almost never perfect, they’re also hostile to humans and smell like copper.” Max explained.

“Cool but I need to get going so see you at school in a couple of days.” Sunset replied

“Yea, me to.” Applejack responded.

“I wish I could stay and learn more but I have to get home.” Twilight added.

“Well darling get better soon.” Rarity replied as she left.

“Okay thanks, see you hopefully in two days.” Max said.

“U-um thanks for protecting me...” Fluttershy said as she quickly left.

“No problem.” Max replied.

“See ya dude, when you get back I’m totally gonna kick your butt in soccer.” Rainbow dash added.

“You wish.” Max replied as he waved.

“Hey Max, thanks for protecting me as well, but I have to go and babysit the Cakes.” Pinkie Pie said.

“Don’t w-” Max started saying when he felt Pinkie Pie kiss him on the lips, from so close up Max could smell a combination of cupcake batter, strawberries and cherries.

Pinkie Pie stood back up and smiled as she walked out of the room blushing cherry red.

Soon after Ms K entered the room to see a blushing Max.

“Ooo what do we have here?” Ms K teased.

“S-shut up, so what did the people upstairs have to say?” Max asked.

“Our superiors have a new assignment along with our current one.” Ms K said.

“Let’s hear it.” Max replied.

“It’s...to capture Zach...” Ms K responded.

“Okay...well when can I start?” Max asked.

“Well as soon as you’re out of the hospital, and since it sounds like Pinkie Pie and Flutershy are his targets we’ve sent some people to keep watch over them, but you’re going to be their main guard.” Ms K explained.

“Well I guess I have no other choice huh.” Max smiled as he gave a thumbs up.

“Yea, just get better soon.” Ms K responded as she waved and left the room leaving Max to his thoughts.

“If only I’d seen it sooner.” Max thought to himself among other things as he decided to go and sleep.
