The Werewolf Guardian of Canterlot High

“Max wake up.” Ms K said as she shook Max awake.

“Mm what is it?” Max asked in a groggy tone.

“You’ve been cleared to go home.” Ms K said with a smile.

“R-really?” Max asked as he sat up and rubbed his eyes.

“Yea, I brought you some new clothes and a cookie.” Ms K said as she handed Max a bag and the cookie.

“You know I’m not a pup anymore right?” Max said.

“Yea I know, but if you don’t want it...” Ms K retorted with a sly grin.

“F-fine...” Max said with a grumble as he ate the cookie.

“Oh and here’s your keys.” Ms K add as she tossed him the keys.

“Thanks, but can give me some privacy so I can change?” Max asked.

“Of coarse, I’ll be right outside the room.” Ms K said as she stepped out and noticed Pinkie Pie walking to the room.

“U-um hi Ms K h-how’s Max doing?” Pinkie Pie asked with a blush.

“He’s actually getting ready to leave, he was just discharged.” Ms K responded.

“Great, can I see him?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Let me see...hey Max you dressed yet? Pinkie Pie is here to see you” Ms K said through the door.

“Yea, she can come in.” Max called.

“You may enter but you have my blessing to be his.” Ms K whispered with a wink causing Pinkie Pie to blush brighter.

“I-it’s not like that!” Pinkie Pie retorted.

“Sure, sure.” Ms K replied with a sly smile and opened the door to see Max now wearing an orange hoodie with a light gray t-shirt, black cargo pants, and green and white shoes.

“Hey Pinki-” Max started to say when he was thrown into a hug.

Realizing what she was doing Pinkie Pie immediately let go and apologized.

“S-sorry, how are you feeling?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Well I’m actually doing great, no pain what so ever.” Max responded.

“That’s good and um w-wanna hang out with us again today?” Pinkie asked.

“Sure.” Max responded.

Upon hearing this Pinkie got super excited but was cut short when Ms K entered the room.

“Heh, well you two should really be getting to class.” Ms K.

“Hey, is there enough room for one more person?” Pinkie Pie asked Max.

“Yea, you have a helmet?” Max responded as he twirled his keys in his fingers.

“You bet ya!” Pinkie Pie responded as she pulled out a pink helmet with a blue stripe down the middle from her hair.

“Well then lets go.” Max said as he started walking out of the room as Pinkie happily hopped with him.

After getting to the parking lot Max asked Pinkie Pie where his motorcycle was parked.

“I don’t know, Rainbow Dash is the one who parked it.” Pinkie Pie responded.

“Thankfully I have a backup.” Max said as he sniffed the air and knew where his motorcycle was parked.

“Did you find it?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Yep, follow me.” Max replied as he walked to his motorcycle.

“Okay.” Pinkie Pie responded as she followed Max.

After a moment Max and Pinkie Pie were on the road with Max driving and Pinkie Pie clinging to him.

“How’s the ride so far Pinkie?” Max asked.

“Gre-e-e-eat, but c-can I a-ask you some t-thing?” Pinkie Pie responded.

“Sure, what is it?” Max asked.

“What is your relationship with Ms K?” Pinkie replied.

“She’s kinda like my adopted mother.” Max responded.

“Oh...well why don’t you call her mom?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Well mainly even though I was like two years old at the time that my family was killed I still remember them and so I don’t call Ms K mom.” Max replied.

“Okay, and can you have chocolate?” Pinkie asked.

“Yea, along with other things that canines can’t have. And we’re about half way to school.” Max responded.

“Okay, good to know.” Pinkie replied as she rested her head on his back.

While, Max was driving he felt a rumble and saw that the road in front of him started sinking and caving in. Max immediately stopped the motorcycle, which caught Pinkie Pie off-guard as three cars were sunk in.

“W-what happened?” Pinkie Pie asked as the sinkhole collapsed further down until it stopped.

“A sinkhole and some cars got swallowed.” Max responded as he got off his motorcycle and took off his helmet.

“What do you want me to do?” Pinkie asked.

“Get back while I get the people out of this hole” Max said as he jumped down the hole.

As Max was helping people out of the hole Pinkie Pie got a call from her friends.

“Where are you?” Sunset asked in a concerned tone.

“Well Max got discharged and we were on our way when a sinkhole opened up and Max is currently helping people out of the hole.” Pinkie Pie explained.

“Is everyone okay?” Sunset asked.

“Let me check, hey Max, is anyone hurt?” Pinkie asked.

“No, thankfully.” Max responded as he brought up the last of the people.

“Everyone is safe.” Pinkie Pie reciprocated.

“That’s good, well see you soon.” Sunset said as she hung up.

“Where is she?” Applejack asked Sunset.

Sunset proceeded to explain Pinkie Pie and Max’s situation.

“A sinkhole? But there should have been nothing to cause it...” Twilight thought.

“I’m sure it’s nothing.” Sunset replied.

“Yea, but I just can’t help but think something else caused it.” Twilight responded.

Meanwhile Max noticed a peculiar smell coming from the sinkhole but decided to put it at the back of his head.

“Ready to get back to school?” Max asked Pinkie Pie.

“Yea, lets get going.” Pinkie Pie said as Max put his helmet back on and went another route.

Max and Pinkie Pie soon got back to the school as they were greeted by their friends.

“Hey Pinkie, Max are you two okay?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“Yea, Max saved all the people who were in the sinkhole.” Pinkie Pie responded.

“Oh and how are you feeling Max?” Twilight asked.

“Well good but I smelled something weird in the sinkhole.” Max responded.

“Like what?” Twilight asked now concerned.

“Well there was a subtle Sulfur smell.” Max responded as he noticed the smell again and then felt an earthquake.

“Whoa, what the?” Rainbow Dash said as she fell on her butt.

The earthquake subsided while everyone was looking around. However, Max was on high alert as he kept on looking in all directions.

“What is it?” Sunset asked.

“And what is that awful smell?” Rarity added as a gurgling sound came from the soccer field next to the school.

Max then showed his ears and tail as his eyes turned orange and he grew claws.

“U-uh is something wrong Max?” Sunset asked.

“Get down!” Max shouted as a massive fireball was flung at the group who avoided the attack.

“What the hell is that thing?” Rainbow Dash asked as a large humanoid monster rounded the corner, magma and rocks dripping from the body as it walked to the group.

“Max, any clue?” Sunset asked.

“Yea, it’s a Cherufe, but they’re normally found in South America around Chile and Argentina.” Max responded as he dodged another fireball.

“No offense, but what’s a Cherufe? And how do we defeat one?” Rainbow Dash and Twilight asked.

“It’s a Chilean humanoid monster that is made of magma and rock, it lives in volcanoes and too be honest I’m not sure, I’ve never dealt with one before and the way that ancients did is not an option.” Max responded as he avoided a punch by the beast.

“Why was it?” Sunset asked.

“Well it involves a virgin sacrifice.” Max responded as he grabbed a boulder and threw it at the monster’s legs which was just adsorbed into the beast.

“Why did I think that would work...” Max said as he noticed diamond shaped objects being shot at the creature and cupcake explosions being sent to the Cherufe.

“Don’t worry darling, we’ll help.” Rarity said as she dodge a fireball.

“You got that right!” Rainbow Dash added as she tried to distract the beast but was blown away in fit of hot air.

Sometime during the fight Pinkie Pie got separated from the group but the Cherufe noticed this and went to step onto Pinkie Pie but she was pushed replaced by Max who took her place.

“M-max?” Pinkie Pie called but with no response.

Everyone else just stopped what they were doing and realized what had just happened. There was a silence as the sound of a balloon slowly letting air out filled the silence as the monster reached to grab Pinkie Pie who now had her hair dead strait with her on her knees crying.

“Pinkie!” Everyone screamed as the monster’s hand reached to grab her but instead the creature’s foot burst open as the a black and red blur dashed out and saved Pinkie Pie from the beast’s grasp.

As the dust settled a sixteen-foot tall Werewolf stood holding Pinkie Pie close to his chest as his black fur glistened from the red flames coming from his back, hands and feet but were strangely not burning Pinkie Pie or her clothes.

“W-what?” Pinkie Pie asked as she looked up and asked if he was Max to which he responded by closing his eyes and giving a soft smile.

“Don’t worry Pinkie, I got this.” Max said as he sat Pinkie Pie down and turned to face the Cherufe who was now regenerating it’s leg.

The beast stood back up after the leg was finished. Max stood forward, as he brought his head back and let out an immense roar that caused the windows to shatter and anyone in the vicinity covered the ears as the Cherufe stepped back and threw a fireball at Max who caught it and threw it back at the monster which smashed on the head.

Max then jumped into the air and grabbed and pushed the beast down to the ground and growled as the beast finally yielded as it sunk down into the earth to presumably head back to a volcano. After that Max soon reverted back to his normal Werewolf form and then back to his human form and was wondering why his friends were blushing and looking away while Pinkie Pie was trying to keep herself from looking.

“Uh what’s wrong?” Max asked.

“Ahem darling, although I support the natural look this is not what I had in mind...” Rarity replied while turned away.

“Oh shit!” Max said as he realized that his clothes had gotten burned up from the fight and quickly ran to hide in the bushes and called Ms K.

“Yea Max, what is it?” Ms K answered.

“Um I need you to get over to the school now and bring me an extra pair of clothes?” Max asked.

“Let me guess, clothes got destroyed after you transformed?” Ms K asked now a bit annoyed.

“Kinda, just get over here now please.” Max pleaded.

“Fine, but when you get dressed you better tell me the reason why you transformed.” Ms K replied.

“Y-yes ma’am.” Max whimpered as he hung up.

“S-so, thanks for saving me...again.” Pinkie Pie said as she sat against the wall next to the bushes that Max was hiding in.

“N-no problem, and sorry for s-scaring you.” Max responded.

“Don’t worry about it and um...w-will you go out with me?” Pinkie Pie asked as Ms K’s car pulled up and she got out.

“S-sure.” Max replied as he blushed brightly.

“Where’s Max?” Ms K asked those who were waiting by the statue.

“He’s in there bushes over there.” Applejack responded as she pointed to the bushes by Pinkie Pie.

“Thanks.” Ms K replied as she walked over to the bushes and dropped a bag of clothes into it.

“Thanks Ms K.” Max responded.

“Just get dressed and tell me what happened.” Ms K replied.

“Yea yea.” Max whispered as he put his clothes back on and stepped out of the bushes.

“So, what happened?” Ms K asked.

Max then proceeded to tell Ms K about the sinkhole and about the Cherufe and asked about his new form.

“Hmm well as for your new form it sounds like a Hell-hound but they’re quadrupeds and not bipeds. But after I report the incident I’m going to ask some Werewolf packs about this.” Ms K said.

“Thanks Ms K.” Max replied.

“No problem, just try not to ruin your clothes...again.” Ms K retorted as she left in her car.

“S-so Pinkie, what time do you want to go?” Max asked.

“A-any time is good.” Pinkie replied with a smile.

“Okay, well how about over the weekend?” Max asked.

“Y-yea, I wouldn’t mind.” Pinkie replied with a huge smile and blushing.
