The Werewolf Guardian of Canterlot High

Max was on his way to school when he noticed Zach again at the corner of a street and again in someone’s yard as a weird looking cat.

“No, I’m just imagining things.” Max thought to himself as he pulled up to the high school.

Upon hearing Max’s motorcycle arrive up to the parking lot Pinkie Pie and friends went and met Max.

“Maxie!” Pinkie Pie shouted as she gave Max a hug and a kiss.

“Hey, Pinkie.” Max said as he hugged her her.

“What’s wrong?” Sunset asked.

“I think Zach is planning something, and I also think I know why he’s evil now.” Max replied which caused everyone to give him a confusing look.

“You see, Zach wasn’t always like this, sure he held a grudge but never wanted to kill people, one day he was sent on an assignment and when he came back he was aggressive.” Max explained.

“Hmm, do you have any idea why he became like that?” Twilight asked.

“Well in the report he saw a white light come to him and then it like dispersed, the Council thinks it was just an orb but both Ms K and I have my doubts.” Max explained.

“Well, if it helps we’ll be on look out.” Applejack said.

“Yea, and if we find him we’ll kick the evil out of him!” Rainbow Dash added.

“Thanks everyone.” Max said with a smile as the first bell rung.

“Well, gotta get to class, see you at lunch.” Pinkie Pie replied as she kissed Max and hopped away.

“Ready to have your butt kicked in PE?” Rainbow Dash challenged.

“You wish.” Max retorted as him, Sunset and Rainbow Dash walked to their perspective locker rooms to get changed.

“Hey Fluttershy, do you know what Zach looks like?” Twilight asked.

“U-uh sure.” Fluttershy replied as she began to describe Zach in both is human form and his true form.

“Well he certainly sounds like a...character.” Rarity replied with a slight greenness.

“Yea, well we should probably get to class.” Twilight suggested.

“Agreed, see you girls at lunch.” Applejack responded as her, Rarity, Twilight and Fluttershy went to class.

As soon as the second bell rung Max’s class had to do a lap around the gym as a warm up.

“Alright everyone, today we’re going to play some doge ball.” The teacher said as she had the class split in two and stand at opposite ends of the gym and told them to begin.

The two teams ran to grab some dodge balls and started chucking them at each other. Max had grabbed a ball and was about to throw it at a classmate when he noticed Zach and froze.

“I got ya this time!” Rainbow Dash shouted as she threw a ball at Max.

Max then snapped back to reality and dodge then threw his ball at Rainbow Dash and hit her.

“Not this time!” Max said

“Aww man.” Rainbow Dash replied as she went to stand by a wall.

Max was about to throw another ball when he heard Zach’s voice call him and he looked around confused and on alert. While Max was distracted a class mate managed to get Max out.

“Oh...” Max realized he was hit and went to a wall near Rainbow Dash.

“Yo, you okay dude? You’re normally focused.” Rainbow Dash asked.

“No, I think Zach’s here.” Max responded.

“You sure? I Don’t see him anywhere.” Rainbow Dash said.

“Yea, neither do I.” Max replied as he continued looking around for Zach.

Class ended and Max went to his next class but didn’t see Zach that class nor a couple classes either and then lunch came. Max and friends except for Pinkie Pie.

“Hey has anyone seen Pinkie?” Applejack asked.

“Yea, she said she need to empty herself.” Rarity said politely.

“Here she comes.” Sunset replied as she waved a hand to let her know where they are.

Once Pinkie Pie was close enough to Max she grabbed a silver knife and stabbed it into his chest. This caught everyone off guard.

“Z-Za...ch...” Max said as blood trickled down his chest and started coming out of his mouth.

“What the hell Pinkie!” Rainbow Dash shouted as Pinkie Pie just grinned as Max fell out of the table.

“Oh, I’m not Pinkie Pie.” Zach responded as he began transforming into his true form.

Almost everyone in the cafeteria screamed in panic and running out of the room as Pinkie Pie entered the room.

“Hey guys why is everyone...” Pinkie Pie started to say as she saw Zach and the now fading Max.

“Great, now that everyone’s here I can finish what I started!” Zach snarled as he lifted an arm to slash at the group but was stopped by a clear diamond.

“So you’re Zach!” Applejack replied as she kicked him across the room.

“So you heard of me.” Zach said with a grin as he was blocked by more diamonds and tables being thrown at him.

Meanwhile Pinkie Pie ran to Max and was holding him close but was shushed by Max who took the knife out.

“W-what, how?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Well I’m apparently a special Werewolf.” Max explained as he sat up catching even Zach off guard.

“What the, why aren’t you dead?” Zach asked now furious.

“Well, I’m special.” Max replied as he stood up and transformed into his Werehellhound form.

“What the hell are you? “Zach asked now enraged.

“I am a Werehellhound.” Max responded as he roared.

“Tch! Damn you!” Zach shouted as he shifted into a weird looking Minotaur and charged at Max.

Max then charged at Zach and tackled him through the wall into the field. Zach then swiped at Max’s chest causing blood to splatter onto a nearby wall but the wounds healed as Max punched Zach across the field and roared.

“Max, hold Zach still.” Sunset requested as her and her friends started to do their ponification.

“Okay!” Max replied as sprinted towards Zach.

“Like hell I’ll let you do that!” Zach shouted as he tried to swipe at Max’s head but was Caught by Max who went behind him and held him in place.

Meanwhile Sunset and friends rose up in the air and shot a rainbow which had hit Zach and pushed out a large white humanoid spirit that had some horns on it’s shoulders. Zach then collapsed as the rainbow faded. Max let go of the his partner as the spirit started flying to Max who proceeded to breathe red flames at the spirit who dissolved out of existence.

“What happened?” Ms K asked as she ran out of the school to the two.

“I think Zach is back.” Max replied as Zach slowly woke up.

“H-huh, where am I? And who are you?” Zach asked.

“It’s a long story Zach.” Max replied

“M-Max? You look different, did you gain weight?” Zach asked with a wide yet cheerful grin.

“Yep, he’s back to normal.” Max responded as he transformed back to his human form.

A couple of hours later the eight explained what had happened as Zach was taken to a nearby facility for some tests to see if any spiritual residue was left in him. Meanwhile Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna were debriefed and the Agency volunteered to patch the hole and Max was allowed to visit Zach.

“Hey buddy, who’s it going?” Max asked.

“Well so far everything has turned out normal and with luck I’ll be allowed to resume my assignments. Oh! Did you find out what that thing was?” Zach asked.

“Yea, apparently it was a Kulmking, a spirit that has the ability to turn people evil by passing through their body which is probably what happened to you man.” Max responded.

“Oh..and listen Max, I’m sorry for the trouble I caused.” Zach apologised.

“Don’t be, you were under the control of a spirit. And I have some good news.” Max said.

“What is it?” Zach asked.

“I’m getting to stay in Equestria city and I made sure that you aren’t gonna have any repercussions from the incidents.” Max responded.

“Thanks and congratulations.” Zach said.

“No problem and thanks, but I have to get going, so see ya dude.” Max said as he waved and walked out of the faculty.

Once outside Max saw that Pinkie Pie and friends were waiting for him.

“Well, how did it go?” Rarity asked.

“Great, I’m allowed to stay in Equestria city while being an Agent and Zach is not gonna get punished.” Max explained.

“Whoopie!” Pinkie Pie said happily as she kissed Max on the cheek.

“So, who wants to go out and eat?” Max asked.
