The Werewolf Guardian of Canterlot High

“Rarity! I need your help!” Pinkie Pie shouted as she sprinted to her friend blushing.

“Why? What could ever be the problem darling?” Rarity asked.

“It’s because she has a date tomorrow with Max and wants to look good for him.” Rainbow Dash explained with a grin as she twirled a basketball on her finger.

“Rainbow Dash don’t tease her, now darling where is he taking you?” Rarity asked.

“He was planning on taking me to the Exploratorium, the Aquarium, and the Ocean Beach. Oh, and he said I can pick the restaurant.” Pinkie Pie replied as her blush brightened.

“Well darling, I suggest you pack a bathing suit, and something semi-formal.” Rarity suggested.

“Y-yea but I don’t have any semi-formal clothing.” Pinkie replied.

“Oh don’t worry darling, come by my office and I’ll make you something on the house.” Rarity replied with a smile.

“Thanks Rarity.” Pinkie Pie replied with a big smile.

“No problem Pinkie.” Rarity said as Pinkie Pie excitedly hopped away while squealing.

“So, what’s the plan?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“What plan?” Sunset asked.

“Well duh aren’t we going to follow them on their date?” Rainbow Dash responded.

“Darling! You know better then to suggest something so terrible.” Rarity replied.

“Yea, that is kind of creepy. And it’s none of our business” Sunset and Applejack added.

“What about you Fluttershy and Twilight?” Rainbow Dash asked.

“Oh um I’d rather not...” Fluttershy replied.

“I’m sorry but I just don’t think it’s a great idea.” Twilight added.

“Ugh fine!” Rainbow Dash said in defeat.

Three hours later Pinkie Pie showed up at Rarity’s office and knocked on her door.

“Hello darling, come in, I’ll get your dress ready. You can sit on a chair.” Rarity said.

“T-thanks.” Pinkie Pie replied as she walked in and sat down.

“Here you go darling, now if you can stand up and try on the dress.” Rarity asked as she held up a sea-foam blue sundress with black trims.

“Okay.” Pinkie Pie replied as Rarity turned around and Pinkie tried on the dress.

“How does it look?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“It looks great on you but...” Rarity said as she started thinking.

“Um Ra-” Pinkie Pie started to say when Rarity dashed to her desk and grabbed a black ribbon and a sand yellow sun hat.

“Turn around please.” Rarity.

“Okay?” Pinkie Pie said as she turned around.

“There, now just need to tie this into a bow and done.” Rarity said as she tied the black ribbon into a bow around Pinkie Pie’s waist, she then clapped as Pinkie Pie faced Rarity.

“H-how do I look?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Oh darling, Max is going to swoon over you when he sees this.” Rarity replied.

“Really?” Pinkie Pie asked with a blush.

“Oh of coarse darling, now take it off and I’ll give you a bag to take the dress home with you.

“Thanks Rarity, your the best.” Pinkie Pie replied as she hugged Rarity.

“It’s nothing, I just hope your date goes well.” Rarity smiled as Pinkie Pie hopped out of her office.

The next day Max showed up at Pinkie Pie’s house in an olive black dress jacket and pants, he also was wearing a medium silver t-shirt and some dress shoes. Max then got off of his motorcycle to knock on Pinkie Pie’s door but before could do so he was thrown into a dash hug by Pinkie who was wearing the sundress that Rarity had made for her and a sun hat.

“H-hello.” Max said as he blushed.

“H-hi, how d-do I look?” Pinkie Pie asked as she to blushed.

“Great.” Max replied as his blush grew bigger and smiled.

“Thanks, well lets get going.” Pinkie Pie replied with a bigger smile.

“Yea, so where do you wanna go to first?” Max asked as he got on his motorcycle and put his helmet on.

“I was thinking...the Aquarium.” Pinkie replied as she put on her helmet and got onto Max’s motorcycle.

“Excellent choice.” Max said as he drove his motorcycle away with Pinkie Pie on it.

After a while the two arrived at the Aquarium to begin their date. Once inside Pinkie Pie was amazed at all the sea creatures.

“Whoa, so many pretty fish.” Pinkie Pie said aloud as she went from one window to another.

“Heh yea, wanna go see the jelly fish?” Max asked.

“Wait, there’s fish made out of jelly? Tell. Me. Where.” Pinkie Pie said with a giggle. “Just kidding, I know they aren’t made of actual jelly. But I do wanna see them.”

Hearing this caused Max to almost laugh which intern made Pinkie Pie smile.

“Okay.” Max replied as he smiled.

After seeing several sea creatures and getting to touch some of them at the Touchpools, the pair were off to the Exploritorium.

“So Pinkie, what exhibits do you wanna see?” Max asked.

“Hmm...the floating volleyball one, Freeloader and others.” Pinkie Pie replied.

“Okay, well we-re almost there...” Max was saying as he thought he saw Zach with a malicious grin.

“Is something wrong?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“N-no I just thought I saw something...” Max replied

“Okay?...” Pinkie said as the pair pulled into the Exploritorium’s parking lot.

“Well Pinkie, lets go.” Max said as he took off his helmet and got off his motorcycle.

“Okay!” Pinkie Pie replied excitedly as she dashed to the building.

Seeing this caused Max to smile as he followed his date inside. Max found Pinkie Pie looking at everything wide eyed and in shock.

“Ooo, can we play the Freeloader?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Sure, but um...can I hold your hand?” Max asked blushing.

“S-sure.” Pinkie Pie replied blushing brighter as she grabbed Max’s hand and walked to the exhibit.

Max and Pinkie Pie arrived at the exhibit and began playing it. After the two decided they were hungry they went to a cafe to order some food and after ordering they began discussing stuff.

“Sooo, what was your first assignment?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Hm, man it’s been so long ago since I did it...Oh! It was actually a massive Black Market bust, there were over like seventy creatures being bought, tortured, auctioned and other unspeakable acts.” Max explained.

“Wow, like what kind of creatures?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Well, there was a Wyvern chick, two Pheonixess, an Orthrus, and to me the two worst was a Korean Mermaid, and a Pixie. A lot of the merchants of the Black Market were captured with a small percentage being killed and an even smaller fraction escaping. But all the creatures were saved and are now safe.” Max replied.

“That’s great, but um...what do you like about me?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“W-well there’s a lot I like about you, your bubbly personality with the ever so delightful care-free style and wanting to make everyone smile is the main reason why I like you.” Max said as he looked down at the table and shifted a bit in his seat.

“O-oh, um for me it’s because you care more about others then yourself, also you’re really friendly, and just a great guy, s-so um will you b-be my boyfriend?” Pinkie Pie asked as her blush enveloped her face.

“Y-yes, I would love to.” Max replied with a smile.

“Really? You would?” Pinkie asked now starting to cry.

“Ye-are you okay?” Max replied now worried.

“Heh, yea I’m just really happy.” Pinkie Pie replied with a huge smile as the waitress gave them their food.

After some laughing and story telling Max paid for the food and asked if she would like to go to the beach.

“Well duh, I packed my swim suit for it.” Pinkie Pie replied.

“Okay, and I have a surprise to show you when we get there.” Max added.

“Ooo I can’t wait!” Pinkie Pie said as the two of them went to the motorcycle and drove to the beach.

Once at the beach the two went to the changing booths and changed into their swim clothes. Pinkie Pie emerged with a cherry red bikini top and bottom while Max emerged in a black swim trunks.

“S-so what’s the surprise?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Well first there’s a hidden spot that is required.” Max responded as he took Pinkie Pie by the hand and lead her to a spot on the beach hidden from the public and is connected to the ocean.

“Whoa, okay?” Pinkie Pie replied as she walked with Max.

“We’re here.” Max said with a smile.

“Okay, so what’s this surprise?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“It’s this.” Max replied as he did a mix of a howl and a whistle.

“Huh?” Pinkie Pie asked as an angelic horse call came from the ocean.

“Wait for it.” Max said as a large Hippocampus leaped from the water and dove back in as it headed to the pair.

“What is it?” Pinkie Pie asked in amazement.

“This is Teara, she’s a Hippocampus, a half horse, half sea creature, her sea creature half is that of a dolphin but she’s more then just that, she has a unique ability of allowing those that she trust to breath underwater as long as they’re touching.” Max explained as Teara brought her horse half out of the water and would easily take up half of a trailer home.

Her fur less skin shone green and purple in the light as her translucent yellow dorsal fin-like mane flowed in the wind and her violet eyes told anyone with actually speaking that she’s a gentle giant.

“She’s so pretty, but how do you know her.” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Well she was one of the first creatures I rescued.” Max responded as he pat Teara’s head to which she neighed in pleasure.

“May I ask what she’s saying?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Of coarse, she said that she’s willing to give us a ride?” Max translated.

“R-really? Is she okay with that?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Yea, but first give me your hand.” Max said as he reached his hand out.

“Okay?” Pinkie Pie said as she gave Max her hand to let Teara sniff it.

“Ready?” Max asked as he hoisted himself onto Teara.

“Yea.” Pinkie Pie replied as Max helped her onto the Hippocampus.

Once Pinkie Pie was on Teara, the Hippocampus with Max and Pinkie Pie took off into the ocean and dove under. This scared Pinkie Pie only to realize that she was breathing and opened her eyes to see that her and Max had two air bubbles around their heads.

“Whoa.” Pinkie Pie said in amazement as Teara swam threw some seaweed, and several schools a fish.

“Yea, it’s amazing isn’t it?” Max asked as a pod of dolphins swam up to them.

“Dolphins?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Yea, they’re really common around Hippocampi.” Max responded as Pinkie reached out an arm and pat a dolphin.

After about an hour of riding Teara and leaping out of the water with a pod of dolphins, Max asked Teara to take them back to the beach which she obliged.

“Hey Max, thanks for taking me on a date.” Pinkie said as she rested on Max.

“Your welcome, I hope you enjoyed it.” Max replied with a smiled.

“Yea, it was amazing.” Pinkie Pie responded as Teara swam up to the spot that she picked them up from.

“Thanks.” Max said as he got off and helped Pinkie Pie off of Teara and gave the Hippocampus a fish and head of lettuce.

“She’s an omnivore?” Pinkie Pie asked.

“Yea, but lets get you home, I’m sure that you want to tell everyone else about our date.” Max smiled as he and Pinkie Pie went to the stalls to dry off and change.

After getting on the motorcycle Max drove Pinkie Pie home and she gave him a kiss and dashed into her house to her room. Max then drove back to his home and went into his apartment to see Ms K sitting on his couch.

“Well, did you have fun on your date.” Ms K asked.

“Yea, but why are you in my apartment?” Max questioned.

“I’m here because I got some news about both you and Zach.” Ms K responded.

“Well, lets here the news.” Max said as he sat down in a chair.

“You’re not just a Werewolf, you’re a Werehellhound.” Ms K responded.

“A what?” Max questioned.

“It’s an ancient type of Werewolf that appears once maybe twice of every one-hundred generations. From what I gathered they’re twice as big as a normal werewolf, they can breathe fire and immune to fire, lava/magma and magic, they’re also have regeneration abilities as well as improved senses, and strength and speed.” Ms K explained.

“That explains how I survived being stomped on by the Cherufe.” Max said.

“Yea, now on to Zach, you know how one day he had just a grudge against humanity and was given an assignment and after he came back he was more hostile?” Ms K asked.

“Yea I remember, I just thought that he saw something messed up.” Max responded.

“Well, there might me a reason behind his new malicious intent, you see during that assignment Zach saw some sort of light that came close then dispersed. When he reported this the Council just dismissed it as an orb but it might have been something else...” Ms K explained.

“Like, what?” Max asked.

“That’s the thing, we’re not sure what it was and we have no records of anything similar.” Ms K replied as she stood up.

“Oh, maybe there’s still a chance to return Zach to his normal self.” Max suggested.

“I don’t know, but I need to get going.” Ms K replied as she left.

“Hmm, something that can turn a person malicious...” Max thought as he sat back and looked at the ceiling.
