Author's Note

Quick reminder, This is my first story ever. So, please keep this in mind, I'm not a good writer. But hope to make this a good story for everyone to enjoy.

Chapter 1: The Discovery!

Chapter 1: Pilot

Twilight’s POV

I always thought to myself, ‘is there anything up there, like any life up there. Are they friendly or are they hostile?’ I was broken out of thought when Princess Luna walked up to me and asked me what was on my mind.

“ oh um, Princess Luna, have you ever wondered if there was life out there?” I responded with a bit of hesitation. Princess Luna thought about that question for about a minute, then looked up to the beautiful night sky.

“That’s what I ask myself most of the time when I’m out here. Maybe there friendly, but they could also be hostile.” Luna pauses for a second then continued, “ I guess we’ll never know till we go up there or they come to us.” Then Luna gave me a smile, I couldn’t help but smile back. After that, we both look at the night sky the rest of the night.

Narrator POV

In the vastness of space, a small ship is making its way back to its original planet from a mission. Two Saiyans occupy it, as one is sleeping, and the other is flying it back. The sleeping Saiyan wakes up to his partner calling out his name.

Third POV

"Bardock... Bardock!". The Saiyan opens his eyes to see a control panel. Then he looks to his right and see's his partner, Leek.

"What is it?" Bardock responds as he gets up and crosses his arms over his chest, making him look tough.

"We almost arrived at Planet Vegeta, feels good to be home huh?" Leek says looking to Planet Vegeta. "Yeah, I guess," Bardock says not giving a care in the world.

"What do you think Frieza needs us for, It must be important if he needs all of us Saiyans back at Planet Vegeta." Leek pauses for a second, then continues." Maybe the bastard has some big plan for us." "Watch your mouth, your scouter is on!" Bardock interrupts, looking up to Planet Vegeta.

"Th... That's right!" Leek gasps, quickly taking off his scouter. As it's in his hand, he puts it in a container under the control panels. When he finishes, he spots his comrades.

"Hey look at that! Seems like the party may have started without us." Leek says in a happy tone to see his comrades ship's and pods, making their way back to there home planet. While Bardock looks up, he seems a bit surprised that Frieza's ship hasn't landed yet. "Frieza's already here?" Bardock responds, Leek turns left looking surprised as well. Their ship starts to fly under Frieza's to avoid colliding.

"I wonder why he's still up here when he could've landed already."Bardock pauses for a second, then continues," Something about this is strange, it doesn't make any sense."Bardock looks up once more," If he wanted to talk to his men, he could've just used the radio and saved everyone a whole lot of time."Bardock stopping for a moment before speaking again, while Leek looks to his left looking a bit surprised.

"And if he's got new weapons for us, there's no reason we need to pick them up together." Bardock finishes as the ship enters the planet's atmosphere, creating a flaming fireball around them. "I've got a bad feeling about this, none of it makes any sense."

(Fast Forwarding!)

Bardock's POV

I walked around town, feeling worried. I thought to myself, "All the pieces fit together. One, he called all of us Saiyans to arrive back here. Two, he hasn't landed his commanding ship or talked to us on the radio of what he wanted. Finally, he told his men to ask us Saiyans about the Super Saiyan Legend."

I was broken out of thought when a fellow Saiyan flying above carrying a container said: "Welcome back Bardock!" I couldn't help by smiling back responding with "You too!" then he flew off at a slow pace.

I started to walk back home, it took me a bit, but I'm not complaining. I was at the foot of my doorstep and saw my wife, Gine cutting some meat and another female Saiyan helping her work. I smiled, "What's wrong? No proper welcoming, Gine?"

Gine was surprised and stopped her work and turned to me with a beautiful smile. "Bardock, you're here!" as she puts down the knife she was using.

"Things sure are crazy around town today," I said, walking into the house and Gine walked towards me to hug me.

"Yeah. It's not that often everyone comes back." She finishes hugging me and backs up to take off her gloves.

After that, I couldn't help but ask, "How's Kakarot doing, is he still in the nursing capsule?"

"He is. It's just about time to let him out, though." Gine then points to a doorway, "You should see him. Come on!" She then runs to the doorway, telling me to follow.

Thrid POV

Gine and Bardock move to the room housing the nursing capsule that helps Kakarot grow. As Bardock looks at Kakarot, he couldn't help but think 'Should I send Kakarot away to keep him from Frieza's plan or should we all escape together' Bardock was broken out of thought when Gine asked him what's on his mind.

(Stop at 3:18)

"Gine, we're going to another planet," Bardock said in a stern tone. Gine turned suddenly to Bardock with a surprised expression.

"What, why would we do that Bardock?" She desperately tried to get an answer out of Bardock.

"Because of Frieza, I think he's afraid of the legendary Super Saiyan appearing one day. He wants to exterminate us Saiyans so then the legend will never come to be."

"What, the Super Saiyan. But, that's just a children's fairy tale Bardock!" Gine forced into anger.

"I know that, but I still think he's scared of the legend. I have a feeling, that death is on its way."

There was a moment of silence before Bardock broke it, "Plus, I'm getting tired of fighting and always wanted to raise a family on another planet. Away from all of this." there was a long silence in the room.

"Are you sure about this Bardock, it's unlike you to be caring for your family. So what's gotten into you?" Gine says in a worried tone.

"I don't know, maybe it's because I'm constantly fighting, destroying. And I'd like to save something for once. Especially someone who was judged to be a lower-class warrior. Like my Kakarot!" Bardock looks to Gine with a warm smile and askes the big question. "Gine, will you come with me to help raise our son!"

Gine didn't know what to say, but after some time " Yes, let's do this Bardock!" Gine said with enthusiasm.

Narrator POV

After that, they waited till night to steal two pods. One for Gine and Kakarot, while the other one was for Bardock. Once they got into the pods, they agreed to go to a planet called eques. Little did they, they'd be going on an adventure of a lifetime.
