Chapter 2: Having Second Thoughts

Narrator POV

Last time on Dragon Ball Equestrian Z! Bardock got the feeling that Frieza was going to destroy Planet Vegeta! With the approval of Gine. Bardock, Gine, and Kakarot left Planet Vegeta a day before it got destroyed. While Twilight thinks to herself if life exists out in space. Is it friendly or is it hostile, soon she will find out herself? Now on Dragon Ball Equestrian Z!

Twilight's POV

CRASH!
As soon as I heard that big explosion, I fell off my bed and ran downstairs to check if Spike was ok, "Spike... Spike, where are you!?" I patiently waited for Spike to call out. "I'M OVER HERE!" Spike responded.

I ran to the direction of Spike's voice and found Spike covered in a pile of books. I quickly got to work and pulled the books on top of him off. Luckily he wasn't injured, "Spike, are you ok?" I asked worriedly. "Don't worry Twilight, I'm alright. Just a bit startled that's all." Spiked paused for a minute, "Any idea what that noise was?"

"I'm afraid I don't know Spike, it sounded like a..." Then all of a sudden, I heard another explosion. It was so violent, it shook the entire town and shattered all the windows. I regained my balance and ran out the door to see two large mushroom clouds in the distance close to the everfree forest. "Spike, we should go investigate that explosion" I explained

"But would we, why can't we leave this to the royal guards for once?" Spike complained. I gave Spike a natural face, "Its probably just a meteor, why would we bother the royal guards over something we can handle. Now come on, let's go see what this is!" Spike groaned, but I pick him up with my magic and put him on my back and ran to the explosion.

Bardock's POV

I was awoken to the noise of the pod's computer telling me, we have arrived on the planet and the other pod made it. "Welp, it's time to see if this planet's people are friendly or not." I thought to myself as I pressed the button to open the pod's door. I heard some voices outside, but they were muffled due to the hydraulic door hissing as it opened. What I saw was something from a fairy tale. Ponies, PONIES EVERYWHERE! *Internal Screaming*.

"What's the matter Bardock?" Gine called out.

"Gine, I'm starting to have a second thought on coming to this planet Gine," I responded. 'I knew the data on this planet said it helps lots of happy magic. But I didn't expect it to have colorful ponies!'.

Gine got out of the pod holding Kakarot in her arm and asked me, "Bardock, what do you mean? Oh."

Third POV

Bardock and Gine lookup out of the crater and see's a group of colorful ponies staring back at them. "um... hi?" Gine said hesitantly. Then all the ponies ran away, terrified. "Wait come back, we aren't going to hurt you!" Gine yelled back, not wanting her family to be rejected on the first contact.

Gine heard a voice running up to them yelling, “What are you ponies running from?” The voice reaches the crater, the pony had a purple lavender coat, a dark purple mane with a couple of light purple streaks running through it. It was also holding a purple dragon on its back with lime green spikes running from its head to its tale. The purple mare look down to the trio of Saiyans standing out of there pods, “Please don’t run away like the others, we just need some help.” Gine cried out in desperation!

Bardock through all of this doesn’t say a thing, he’s just astonished that they landed on a world that’s a Childrens fairy tale. “ Hey, you!” Bardock yelled out and pointing to the purple mare and dragon. “Me?” The purple mare pointed to herself. “Yes you! Who are you and is this Planet Eques?” Bardock yelled out, easily looking frustrated.

“Bardock! Would you calm down, I’m just as surprised as you.” Gine yells back, Bardock just scoffs and looks away.

“Sorry for my husband’s behavior, he can get a bit... angry when he can’t figure things out.” Gine apologize to the purple mare. “It’s alright, I understand the situation your in... I think?” The purple mare said. “Oh how rude of me, my name is Twilight Sparkle and this is my assistant Spike.” Twilight pointed to herself and spike waved back.

“My name is Gine, this is my son Kakarot. Also you met my husband Bardock.” Gine explains while Bardock look away. Gine laughs nervously and turns to look at Twilight. “So Twilight, is this Planet Eques?

“Why yes, and you landed in Equestria, close to Ponyville.” Twilight paused for a second then thought of a question that the Saiyans were waiting for. “Also why are you here?”

“Because our Planet got destroyed!” Bardock blurted out still looking away crossing his arms together. This surprised Twilight and Spike, this caused Kakarot to cry. Gine look down and tried to calm Kakarot down, but wouldn’t work.

“I know who could calm down any filly, follow me!” Twilight said with enthusiasm and walk away from the crater. Gine and Bardock just look at each other and just shrug. With an agreement, they slowly walk out of the crater and followed the mare and dragon.

(Fast forwarding!)

Bardock’s POV

We all arrived at a small cottage while Kakarot is still crying. Twilight was knocking on the door calling for a pony named Fluttershy. Shortly after, a yellow pegasus with a pink curly mane opened the door and smiled back. “Hello Twilight, what can I do for you?”

“Twilight here told us that you could calm down our son Kakarot... can you do that for us?” I replied nicely, which was a first. Fluttershy look to me, then look to my son, which was crying out ponds of tears.

“Sure, no problem!” Fluttershy replied cheerfully then walk over to Kakarot and sang a soothing song. It calmed Kakarot down so much, it put him to sleep. I was surprised at this, even Gine doesn’t have a soothing voice to calm Kakarot down!

“Thank you so much!” Gine thanked cheerfully. This made Fluttershy blush a little, “No problem.” Fluttershy then invited us in to chat for a bit.

Third POV

The Saiyans sat across of Fluttershy and Twilight. “So, Is it ok if I ask some questions?” Twilight asks as she teleports in a peace of paper and quill. “I don’t see the problem with it...” Gine says as she lays down Kakarot down on another couch and puts a blanket over him.

“Sweet! Well the first question is, what are you?” Twilight questions. Bardock was the first to answer, “We were a proud warrior race know as the Saiyans.”

Narrator POV

Bardock just reveled the name of there race known as The Saiyans. How will Twilight and Fluttershy react when they find out the nature of The Saiyans. Find out next time on Dragon Ball Equestrian Z!!
