Chapter 8: The Meeting!

Last time on Dragon Ball Equestrian Z! When the Saiyans arrived in Canterlot, 3 new ponies emerged from the castle doors. There know as Rarity, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. Shortly after introductions, Luna calls Bardock over to talk something important. This lead Bardock to confess to her and everyone about the dream of Bardock becoming the legendary Super Saiyan!. But the meet is about to begin, let's find out now!

As the hug between the Saiyans ended, Bardock waited for everypony's reaction. They all stood there with shocked expressions, for most of them, it felt like hours. But Twilight broke the silence, "How could anypony be that cruel?"

"How'd you do it?" Rainbow Dash questioned.

"Huh?" Bardock looks up to Rainbow with a confused look.

"I mean how'd you change into that golden hair transformation?" Rainbow explained, "It looked so cool and bright! Also, that speech you gave to that evil lizard, that was amazing. Also can yo..." Rainbow was cut off when Applejack put her hoof in front of Rainbow's muzzle and glared at her.

"How could you be talking about that when he had to witness that dream again!?" Applejack was furious, but Bardock put his hand up, signaling Applejack that it was ok.

"It's alright Applejack, I'm betting you have the same question on what that transformation was how I achieved it." Bardock looked at Applejack for a moment.

"Yr' not wrong partner, just a little jumpy at the moment." Applejack says sheepishly. Everypony looks at Bardock, waiting for the explanation, but a loud rumbling noise echoed in the dining hall. The princesses go on high alert until they heard laughter, coming from the Saiyans.

"Sorry about that, I think we're hungry," Gine gave a sheepish smile while rubbing the back of her head. Everypony just looked at them, then the princesses started to giggle.

"Looks like you are, lunch will be ready in a bit. In the meantime, should we finally start the meeting?" Princess Celestia questioned. The Saiyans look at each other, thinking about it. Finally, they all nodded at Celestia, "Great, let's all go and have a seat at the table.

Eventually, they all sat down at the dining table. The Saiyans sat across from the ponies, getting comfortable. There was a long silence, but Bardock broke it.

"So, what terms do we have to agree to and what jobs can we do?" said Bardock, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow.

"Well for starters, you cannot harm anypony for any reason," explained Celestia, looking at the Saiyans, "For jobs, well... what do you two specialize in?" questioned Celestia.

"Bardock is super strong, so probably a job for heavy lifting," Gine explained, which everyone except Celestia and Luna, gave wide eyes and looking at Bardock.

"How strong are you?" Twilight questioned, in return, Bardock gave a small chuckle.

"I'd say I could probably lift an entire mountain with 75% of my power!." Bardock smirked as everypony gave a wide-eyed expression.

"Y-you can be serious!" said Applejack, trying to see if he's lying.

"Nope, I'm that strong, but full power is when situations get messy." Explained Bardock.

"Well, with that in mind. You could work for the royal guard if you want or Applejack can give you a job at sweet apple acres." Luna explains, making Bardock think.

'If I work with the Royal Gaurd, I can protect the Princesses and Equestria. But I don't like standing around, maybe ill work on the apple farm. It'll keep me in shape and give me something to do', with Bardock thinking of a decision, Celestia turns to Gine.

"What do you specialize in Gine?" Celestia questions.

"Well, back on our homeworld, I use to be in his squad. But eventually, I left the group to become a butcher." Gine explains, but the last word sends shivers down everypony's spines. Gine notices this and calms down everypony, "Don't worry, I wasn't only a butcher, but a fantastic chef." Gine explains.

"Well, we can give you the Royal Guard position like Bardock, or you can go get a job at SugarCube corner is run by the Cake's." Celestia offers, also sending Gine in deep thought.

"I'll work at Sweet Apple Acres, need to stay in shape anyway." Bardock answers. Celestia and Luna look at each other, then nodding.

"And I'll work at SugarCube Corner, but one thing is on our mind," explains Gine.

"And what that might be Gine?" questions Luna, Gine looks to her and explains.

"Where will our son Kakarot do? He was born to be a warrior, so would homeschooling or sending him to a school be a wise choice?" Gine questioning. This made Celestia put a hoof to her chin, while Luna goes into deep thought.

"Well... let's send him to the school first, if it goes badly, we can homeschool him," Celestia explains, hoping this is the best choice.

Lunch soon came in carts of food, little did the ponies know. Saiyans have a huge appetite when the plates were set down. Everypony started to eat until they saw the Saiyans eating their food at such a high pace. They even started to ask for more, these left everypony mouths drop, even the Princesses were surprised.

"Um... do you Saiayns usually eat this much?" Applejack questioned.

"Oh yea," Gine finishes a mouthful of food before continuing, "Since we Saiyans fight so much, we have to have a lot of calories." After the explanation, everypony just went back to eating. After 30 minutes of waiting for the Saiyans to finish, Bardock finished and went to answer Rainbow's question from earlier.

"You still want to know how I went Super Saiyan in my dream Rainbow?" This caught Rainbow off guard.

"I mean, I was just excited earlier when you showed us your dream, you don't need to answer it," Rainbow explains, feeling like a jerk for answering the question after the dream.

"Don't worry Rainbowdash, it's alright." Bardock takes a breather before explaining, while everypony gets comfortable. "When I heard the screams of my Gine and Kakarot, my blood started to boil... I felt the rage building up inside of me. I didn't notice at first, but sparks start to form around me. When I arrive at where Frieza kicked me in the back. What I saw was the most dreadful thing I've seen." everyone already knows what happened to Gine in that dream.

"I almost snapped at the sight of Gine being impaled by Frieza's arm, but I managed to keep that cool until... un..." Bardock closed his eyes, trying to hold back the tears. "Until Frieza turned to Kakarot, lifting him in the air and... and..." Bardock couldn't hold back the tears, but he managed to stop. Everypony was saddened by how Bardock his hurting himself by telling this story.

"Exploded, a... a piece of his armor fell in front of me and crumbled to dust in front of my eyes. But Frieza relished the moment, his sinister laugh is still imprinted in my mind. That's when it happened, I finally snapped. My power was skyrocketing with my rage, then." Bardock paused to see some of them trying to hold back the tears, but one was sobbing, it was Fluttershy. Holding onto Rainbow Dash, she also wrapped a hoof around Fluttershy's neck.

"My hair spiked up, turning into a golden color. While my eyes went into a cyan-greenish color, my aura raged around me. The sound me turning into a Super Saiyan sounded like all the turrets in Frieza's army went off." Bardock looked down and sighed. But then felt weight against push against him, he saw the Mane 6 giving him a big hug. Rainbow Dash was the first to speak up.

"I'm so sorry, I didn't want you to live through that again, not a third time." The Mane 6 all nodded and let go of Bardock to catch his breath.

"It's alright girls, but I had to, Rainbow would've bugged me eventually to tell her how I did it anyway." Bardock gave a small chuckle when Rainbow Dash rubbed the back of her head, smiling sheepishly.

Gine was surprised yet again on how Bardock is behaving, 'he would've said no to the question earlier, why was he acting like this.' Gine thought, it was broken when Kakarot tugged on her leg. "What is it darling?"

"Are we going to stay here mommy?" Kakarot wondered. Gine was surprised once again on how her son is talking at such a young age.

"Yes we are sweetie, we just need to find a house to stay in ok," Gine explained as simple as she can to Kakarot. He simply nodded happily and jumped onto Gine's shoulders. "By the way Celestia?" Celestia turned at Gine.

"Yes, what is on your mind." Celestia wondered.

"We might need a place to stay, I don't want to keep having to take resources from others," explained Gine, she was thankful that she was able to find a place to stay the night, thanks to Fluttershy. But now she wants a place to stay with her husband and son.

"Well... we can give you a house in Ponyville, and we'll provide a number of bits to keep you on your hoofs for a month," Celestia explained.

Bardock and Gine look at each other and nodded. "We'll take this offer, can you give us a week to get settled in before we go to our jobs. We're still new here..." Gine explained.

"Then it's settled, welcome to your new home in Equestria!" Luna said with joy, holding out a hoof for a hoof shake, which Bardock returned, smiling.

Outskerks of Canterlot

Two ominous beings watch the meeting happen, and saw the dream of Bardock. The two just look at each other and nod. "This could be a problem, report back to the ship. Tell them we found the last Saiyans, tell Lord Frieza!" one of them said, flying off back to there ship.

With the Saiyans, being welcomed to their new home, two of Frieza's soldiers followed them to the planet. This will cause problems later on. Will Bardock find out Frieza is on his way or will he have to watch everyone suffer at the hands of Frieza? Find out next time on Dragon Ball Equestrian Z!

Yea, Frieza will find out later in future chapters, so he won't arrive immediately. But I know some of you reading in this chapter will probably think it's too early for Frieza to find out. But it's intended, hoped you enjoyed the chapter! Catch you later!
