Chapter 9: A New Enemy Appears!

Last time on Dragon Ball Equestrian Z! Bardock had displayed his dream to the Mane 6, Princesses, and his Wife, Gine. He didn't expect to be tackled by a hug. Shortly after, they all sat down for the meeting and everything went alright. But on the outskirts of Canterlot, two beings have been watching the Saiyans. They were going to report to Frieza? What will happen next, let's find out now!

When the meeting was over, the Princesses allowed the Saiyans to stay the night, which they agreed to. As Bardock was about to fall asleep, Gine asked him a question.

"Bardock, are having more of these dreams?" This caught Bardock off guard

"Huh, what do you mean by they Gine?"

"You know, the dream of you becoming a Super Saiyan. Are you having more of those dreams?"

"No, I haven't, we've only been here about two days now. I think I'll be fine" Bardock reassured

"Just making sure, but if another one of these dreams happens, you tell me this, no more secrets between us, alright!" Gine glared at him, making sure he understands. Bardock is sweating bullets, trying not to be attacked by her.

"Alright alright, I get it. I'll tell you if I have another one," he reassured. With that, they put Kakarot to sleep in the corner of the room and went to bed. Unknown to Bardock, there will be something to surprise him tonight.

Bardock's Dream

Bardock opens his eyes to a grassy plain, but he knew this is where he became a Super Saiyan in his previous dream. But this time, he waited, but nothing happened. 'I don't think this is the same dream, but it's in the same area'. Bardock looks around, to see if he can find someone, "Hello... anyone here?"

"Father... Bardock!" A voice called out, Bardock looks behind him to see another. He had the same spikey hair like him, but he wore a red open gi with a black undershirt and had a red pole strapped to the back of him.

'Who's that, it looks like me, but the only Saiyan I know that looks like me is...', "Wait, is that you Kakarot?"

"That's my Saiyan name," Kakarot turns around to face him, "But the name given to me on Earth is Goku."

"You... you were never sent to earth, we left for Eques."

"Not in my timeline, I was sent to earth so then I wouldn't be killed on planet Vegeta."

"But how are you talking to me now and why now?"

"I'm here in this timeline when I was told there was a distortion. So I investigated and found you alive with me and mother."

"But why is there a distortion, was it the choice to go here that caused it?"

"Yes, I would change it so then there won't be a distortion, but seeing you and mom happy here with all of these ponies, it made me think." Goku walks up to him and puts a hand on Bardocks shoulder, "I want to know if you want the timeline to stay the way it is now, or return it to the original one?"

Bardock didn't know what to do, he could stay here and have a wonderful life, but then have the timeline changed. Or he can fix the distortion and go back and get killed by Frieza. "I want to stay here, I want to have a second chance at a new life."

Goku just looked to him with a serious expression, but it changed into a cheeky-happy one. "I was kinda expecting that, I would like to meet you in person one day, I never got to talk to you or mother before."

"I'd like that." as Bardock finished, Goku just looked at him and waved as he disappeared. Bardock went back to walk around the grassy plain, then a flash of light appeared behind him.

"Are you alright?" a familiar voice call's out. He turns his head to see Luna there looking worried.

"It's alright Luna, I was talking with my son."

"Wait, your child was in your dream."

"I didn't explain it much did I..."

Bardock then goes on how his choice to go here with his family caused a distortion in the timeline and his son from the original timeline came to ask him if he wanted to stay here or go back to the original. Luna was lost for words, "I never knew time travel was possible!" Luna blurts out.

"I'm just as surprised as you, but I think you and I should keep this dream a secret until the time is right."

"Why?"

"He said he wanted to come back and meet us face to face. I want Gine to know later, but not now," he explains.

"I see, I'll leave you to this dream, night." Then Luna walks away and disappears into a white flash of light. Bardock just turns around to enjoy the open plain, for the rest of the dream, nothing bad happened the rest of the dream.

Bardock wakes up that morning to the familiar sight of Gine at his side. He doesn't want to wake her up, so he quietly gets out of bed and walks to the bathroom to get cleaned up. He washes his face to see something odd, in the refection of the mirror, he can see chocolate falling out of the sky. "What the..." then he hears weird noises outside of his room.

He opens the door to the royal guard acting like animals and making noises, "I have officially lost my mind." He turns to see the Mane 6 running towards them, 'They don't seem to be affected by this chaos.'

"How are you not affected?" questions Twilight.

"What do you mean, I just woke up."

"We have to go get the Elements of Harmony, the Princesses will meet us there!"

"What's going on, I just see the rest of the ponies here acting like animals and chocolate is falling out of the sky, it's like chaos is here!"

"Cause it is! Discord, The God of Chaos broke from his prison!"

Bardock knew a familiar person close to that title but brushed it off. He quickly got Gine and Kakarot up and rushed out of the door, explaining what's happening. They all rushed to where the Princesses were, waiting for them at a door.

"Where are the Elements?" Twilight was in a panic, she knew Discord from reading the story on how Celestia and Luna defeated them.

"There behind this door in a chest," Celestia explained. She then opened the door with her magic, when they walked in and got to the chest, Bardock sensed something was off. Celestia opens the chest to find nothing is in there. "Impossible!" She frantically searches the chest one more time to find nothing. "Where are the Elements?!"

"Oh don't worry, they're safe with me..." a voice said, the air in the room became heavy. There was a laughter that sounded too familiar to him.

'That laughter, it sounds like... no, it can't be!', "FRIEZA, COME OUT OF HIDING!" Bardock yells with an intent to kill, all the ponies were shaken by that yell.

"You had to bring up Frieza, he's like an ant compared to me." The voice then appears in front of Bardock, taking form. The creature looked like a science experiment gone wrong. He had multiple body parts of different animals, one hand as a bird claw and another as a lion paw. "Well hello there... Bardock."

Bardock jumped back 10ft from the creature and looked at him preparing a stance, getting ready to fight. "What do you want Discord?!"

"Me, oh I just want to have some fun after being in stone for thousands of years!" Discord snapped his fingers and made a Frieza clone appear next to him. This caught everyone off guard, then Discord directed his finger at Bardock, commanding the clone to attack him.

In less than a second, the clone launched toward Bardock, rearing back a fist to attack. Bardock had barley anytime to dodge, so he launched forward as well and both the clones and Bardocks fist hit each other, causing a massive shockwave to shake the entire castle. The clone went for a punch, but Bardock dodged under its attack and went for an uppercut in the gut. The attack connected, making the clone spit out blood and sent flying to the castle wall. Bardock prepared an energy attack, but the clone leaped from the wall, coupled its hands together over his head and brought them down on the Saiayn's warrior's head.

Bardock clenched his head in pain, then was kicked in the stomach by the clone, making him cough up spit and sent spiraling towards another wall.

"Bardock!" Everyone yelled, Gine just stood there while Kakarot was holding onto her leg.

The dust settles and Bardock is stuck in the wall, seconds later, he fell from his imprint onto the floor. He slowly gets back up and stares down the clone. 'Damn, I'd hate to admit this... I'm starting to have some trouble. How am I going to beat this clone?' Bardock wondered, then a round of ki blast flew strat at him. Gathering the strength he needed, he managed to dodge all the ki blast. Then dashes toward the clone in the blink of an eye, even Rainbow Dash was having trouble following Bardock's movements. He uppercuts the clone and sends a barrage of attacks, stunning the clone, Bardock kicks the clone through the ceiling. Flaring his ki into an aura and flys after the clone.

Celestia, Luna, and the Mane 6 are all stunned at Bardock's performance, "How is he able to move that fast!" Rainbow questioned, still stunned at his speed.

"I don't know how Rainbow, but we need to focus on Discord." Twilight explained, they all turn there head to where Discord was. But he was gone, they all feared the worse, thinking if Discord went after Bardock.

Bardock had his second dream and it was his Future Son! Now as he battles the clone, Discord is planning a horrid plan. Will Bardock be able to defeat the clone, or will he perish from the battle. Find out next time on Dragon Ball Equestrian Z!

I thought it'd be pretty cool to introduce time travel in the story, cause Bardock's choice created another timeline. And I liked Xeno Goku from Dragon Ball Heros. Also, this is my first chapter with fighting in it, so don't expect anything spectacular just yet. I'll be writing the next chapter soon! With that, catch you later!
