Chapters As Twilight Sparkle ran through the woods with her friends, trying to reach the castle of the two sisters, she wondered where the Elements of Harmony could be.
She needed to reach the castle, so they could find the elements, and stop Nightmare Moon. She skidded to a stop before a chasm, the rope bridge hanging. As Rainbow Dash flew across to tie up the bridge, and the attack by the fake Shadowbolts, she thought about how to go about finding them.
As they entered the pyramidal castle, they looked around. Unkowingly, one of the girls put her hoof on a stone slab, and as she moved on, it sunk down into the floor.
I awoke. The systems around my body, thawing me from the cryogenic sleep I had been put under.
I extended my senses, and the only thing in close proximity, was crystals, and a single egg. The crystal caves had been my home for the last three thousand years. No one, none but the last of the race of ponies who had settled this land before the tribes knew of me.
They had built the castle of the two sisters, that they had moved into. And they had built the systems that had kept me sleeping for three thousand years.
I heard footsteps approaching my chamber, and hiss.
"Who approaches my chambers? "
The last humanoid pony, given the form of a human by his parents, thanks to a spell that changes the DNA to that of a human. He comes into my senses.
"It is me, my Queen. I have come, because Nightmare Moon, has returned." I nod, and hiss.
"Thank you, for your sacrifice. Know, that your sacrifice will birth my race. And that, it will bring about the protection of Equestria. " he nods, and then approaches the one egg in the room.
He kneels in front of it, as the egg opens. The insides shift, as my child moves around inside it. He starts to tremble, and I could not blame him. He was about to die.
The facehugger crawled out the egg, and crawled onto his face, sticking out its ovipositor into his mouth. It then hugged his face, and I could sense the lump going down his throat. As it finished disharching it's embryo into him, it detached, and the winded pony was breathing hard. He took a few minutes before he got up, but he finally did. As he turned to leave, he says.
"My Queen, it is an honor to serve you, and be the bearer of your children. I will go to the castle through the teleportation crystal, and destroy it. Then, I will await my fate. May your Hive live strong." And he walks over to a glowing blue crystal, one of only two on the planet, and touches it. He teleports away.
I sigh, and rejoice. My children will be revived again. A few seconds after the stallion human teleported out, an explosion happened to the crystal. It sent out shards, but none hit me or my egg, which had closed itself after releasing its facehugger. I now waited.
The stallion human appeared in the castle, as the girls were looking around. They had not reached the main chamber, which held the pedestals that bore the Elements of Harmony. He was In an adjacent room, built thousands of years ago for this day, and he waited for his end. Before he died though, he had one last duty. He took the last of his energy, and started to load it into the crystal. As he did, the crystal started to overload, and eventually, it explodes, shattering. He is thrown back, and is bloodied by the explosion. He coughs, and sits there.
After some time, he started to feel a tightness in his chest. He knew it would be soon. His breathing then became slightly labored, and the pain in his chest increased. He started to say goodbye, as suddenly his chest started to heave of its own accord. It bulged, and tore, until finally, it burst open, and he collapsed upon the ground, dead.
In the stallion humans chest, rising out of it, was a single chest burster alien. It was still young, but it was already growing. A few moments after it emerged, it scuttled off into the darkness of the castle. It would now grow, until it was a full adult.
Twilight Sparkle and her friends walk into a large room, and upon emtering, they see a large statue. It looks like a large sphere, with smaller spheres on spokes surrounding it.
"Girls, these must be the Elements. We need to hurry and get them off of there, before Nightmare comes. But be carefull."
Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy fly up and proceed to pull off all the stones, excluding the large one. They then set them in front of Twilight.
"What now? Anything we can help with?" Applejack asks.
"Well, the stories and legends say that the last element is brought put by a spark. So, maybe I can make one." Twilight answers.
She then strains, her horn starting to spark and flash with her magic. She surrounded the elements in her magic, and then tried to infuse them with the magic.
It didn't work. She panics, and tries again. And again. After the third try, she is worried.
"I don't know what's going on?! I can't seem to get them to spark." and they hear a laugh.
"Oh you foolish little ponies. You don't know anything about the Elements of Harmony. It was not supposed to be, and never has been, a physical spark. But the real spark, is for me to know, and for you to never find out." Says the mysterious entity that enters the room. The fog like being coalesces into the mare Nightmare Moon, and as she says the final sentence, she fires a beam of cold energy at the six girls in the room. They are blasted off their feet, flying into walls, columns, and other various debris. Nightmare Moon laughs at the pained mares in the room, and looks at them trying to stand.
She then looks down, to where she shot, and tries to find the elements. The elements she had made sure to miss, so as not to hurt them, were missing.
"What! What did you do to the Elements?! Where are they?!" Twilight and her friends struggle to their hooves. She looks to where the elements where, and sees them gone.
"What? I didn't do anything to them. They where right there?" she then looks around.
Unseen by all of those present, a creature has been skulking around the room. I was on the ceiling, watching the proceedings with it's senses, and echolocation. It hisses ever so slightly, and starts to make it's way down to the floor. it climbs down the walls, and reaches the ground. The holes in the ceiling provide light to the room, and the creature makes its presence known to the occupants of the room.
As all eyes turn to the unknown creature, it hisses, and stands up. AND UP. It stands, taller and taller. Eventually, it is done standing up.
The creature was about 7.51 Ft tall. Its exterior, was black, and looked like insect chitin. It had a tail, longer than it's body, and tipped with a dangerous looking spike, with small ridges leading from a foot before, up to the tip. It had long, well muscled arms, each one tipped with six fingers, two being opposable thumb like appendages on either side of the hands. Its head, was the most terrifying part of it.
It had no eyes. The top of its head, was smooth, and devoid of features. It snarled, and its lips pulled back, leaking saliva that dripped onto the floor. It opened its mouth, and hissed at Nightmare Moon, and showed it's second mouth in its jaws.
It started to advance on Nightmare Moon. The mistress of darkness, now terrified at the creature standing above her, slowly backed away. She charged up her magic, and blast the creature with a spell that would have frozen a manticore in seconds.
The creature didn't even flinch. It kept coming at her. She kept backing away, and finally, she hit a wall. She turned to it, and then back to the creature. She was now terrified, and kept firing off frost spell after frost spell, hoping one would stop the creature. The creature gets right up to the mare, and can smell the fear on her. Nightmare is crying, and shrinking back from the creature that has resisted her most powerful frost spells.
The creature gets down on the mares level, and opens his mouth, shooting its second mouth out to stop just at the mare. It stops just before her eye, and Nightmare Moon's eyes roll up into her head from the shock.
As the mare of the night faints, the creature jumps onto the wall. The remaining conscious ponies follow its movements, as it moves to a portion of the ceiling that has some holes that aren't all the way through. It then reaches into one of them, and grabs several objects out of it. It shows each one, and drops it.
Twilight's quick thinking, literally, saves the objects from falling upon the floor and breaking. As she levitates them before her, she sees they are the stones that have the elements. She looks back at the entity.
"It swiped them right out from under us." She says.
The creature then drops from the ceiling. It stands up to its full height. And then it hisses at the girls. The all skitter back in fright. It advances. Rainbow runs up to stand beside Twilight.
"Come on! I'm not afraid of you. We got your back Twilight. We can take this thing." Twilight smiles at her friends words, and then stops. At the smile on Twilights face, the creature also stops.
"Oh my Celestia. That's it! The spark isn't physical! I know what the spark is!" Twilight says.
The alien creature hisses. Fluttershy perks up from her hiding place behind Pinkie Pie.
"What did you say?" She asks, seemingly to no one. The alien hisses again.
"Twilight's right? She needs to use it against Nightmare Moon? What do you mean?" The creature let's out a shrieking hiss.
"Friendship is magic. The elements are of friendship. Magic is the final piece. Cleanse Nightmare Moon. Twilight, we need yo use the elements on Nightmare." Twilight had listened to the whole conversation, and with her theory confirmed, she nods.
Nightmare Moon was starting to come to her senses, and was getting up. Twilight and the girls stood in front of her defiantly.
"Nightmare Moon, I figured it out. Your right, it isn't a physical spark. It's the Spark of friendship. And when I heard my friends had my back, I realized, that I actually was happy. And I realize now that each of them embodies one of the Elements of Harmony. Girls, let's cleanse the Nightmare."
The stone orbs started to glow, and each orb started to hiver, each glowing a different color and spinning around a different mare. They spun faster, and began to glow brighter. As it got painful, they changed into different necklaces around five mares. Twilight was grinning, and then the giant orb on the pedestal glowed a lavender hue.
Out of the orb, a crown like object flew out. It flew over to Twilight, and landed on her head. Twilight was smiling.
"Nightmare Moon, Friendship is Magic." And a beam of magic came from the collective pieces of jewelry. It struck Nightmare Moon, and the entity inside her started to come out of the mare. The nightmare manifested itself as a black cloud, which was then disintegrated in the powerful attack.
What was left behind, was a small blue alicorn. She was taller than most ponies, but smaller than the current ruler. As she opened her eyes, she saw the creature that had scared the Nightmare. She whimpered, and shrank back.
But the creature turned, and ran away, disappearing into the shadows without a sound. The main six got up off the ground, having collapsed from exhaustion after firing the friendship canon.
"We did it. We beat Nightmare Moon." Twilight says. A motherly voice was heard then.
"Indead you did, my student. I am sorry, I didn't tell you my whole plan. But the whole thing hinged on you finding friends. All I could do, was point you in the right direction, and train you to defend yourself. Can you forgive me?" Celestia says. Twilight looks at her teacher.
"Yeah, I guess I can. But, you owe me for getting our asses kicked." She says. Celestia nods.
"That is understandable. Now, let's hope somepony else, can forgive me as well. Isn't that right, Luna?" The sun goddess says to the blue alicorn. Luna then hugs the white mare, and says.
"I am so sorry sister. I shouldn't have listened to it." Everybody present save the two hugging were surprised by this development. They took care of it differently. Twilight was thinking.
'Well, I guess it makes sense now why she didn't tell me everything. I probably would have ruined everything if I had known she was trying to save her sister. I can forgive her for this mess she caused me and my friends.' After she got done thinking that, Rarity spoke up.
"Wait, does anypony know where that creature went?" And everypony looked around. Celestia looked confused.
"What creature?" She asks. Luna speaks up.
"I saw it leave, just before Celestia arrived. It disappeared into the shadows. The creature was terrifying. It was so bad, the Nightmare shrunk away from it. And our strongest frost spell did nothing against it."
Celestia seemed disturbed by this. But she didn't say anything. Suddenly, she noticed one of the walls to the old throne room was broken. She gets up, and moves towards it. As she gets closer, she starts to feel a magical barrier, and as she continues on, it dissipates.
Where there was once thought to be a wall, was now a door, broken and blackened by an explosion. Out of it, came the smell of blood. And it was fresh.
"Twilight, you and the girls don't come any closer. Luna, come here." Luna comes over to her sister. They slowly make their way into the room.
Inside, they see a stallion, and blood. Scorch marks blankwt the walls, shrapnel of some crystal embedded in to multiple places.
The sisters enter the room. They walk over to the stallion. Upon getting closer, luna notices something, previously unseen in all the dark blood and shadows.
"Sister, look at his chest." Luna says, disgust showing on her face. "It seems to have been burst Out of. Also, look at his body. It isn't shaped like a ponies. Its more like those old tribes of ponies, the ones who were here before us."
Celestial nods.
"Yes, though those tribes consisted of both ponies and a hybrid, part pony, part Human, they said. They also are the ones who gave us this castle. Something seems off about all these coincidences." Luna nods as well.
Luna then see's something, in the pocket of the clothing the stallion wore. She pulls it out, and see's it is a piece of paper, folded up. Upon unfolding it, she finds a note, and reads aloud to her sister.
"Dear royal sisters,
You dont know of me, but I know of you. I have been awakened. And my children, will have hatched from the chest of this stallion. I am sorry for the loss of the life, but he gave it willingly, so my child may grow. I will not use any ponies, but other creatures, are fair game. If they are found, know that it is in protection of your kingdom, that they died. And if Fluttershy finds them, tell her they passed quickly, and painlessly. You will not meet me. Not yet. Yet my child, you might see, but do not seek, for ponies will be prey. I will leave you one thing, a name for my species.
We, are Xenomorphs."
As Luna finished reading, the two sisters heard a hissing sound coming from all around them. Looking around, they finally see. A single creature is in the room with them, up on the ceiling, above the body, near a hole in the wall leading outside.
In the light of the morning sun, the Xenomorph screeches at the two sisters, and then rushes out the hole, into the Everfree forest beyond.
Author's Note
This is a new story, one of two. This story won't follow full Aliens lore, so I'm sorry, but I will put some lore bits that I can find and will be important for the development of the aliens.
Also, I am not going to tell how she got displaced as a full chapter. She went to the convention, dressed as an Xenomorph queen, found a sculpture of a Xenomorph egg, bought it, and was sent three thousand years back.
The ponies at the time, long before the three tribes came and settles, found her, and she had them build her a place in the crystal caverns, connected to a trigger set in a castle that later became the castle of the two sisters.
She gave them some human DNA, and then had them figure out how to transform ponies into human-pony hybrids. After that, she was put into cryogenic sleep, the freezing being a slow time spell that was activated by the trigger in the castle.
The stone that was stepped on, had a slight deterrent spell, that steered any who might prematurely step on it from doing so. It wore off after 2999 years. And the descendents of the tribe who found the queen were tasked to forever keep one child who would be a hybrid.
All I am saying, is this was well planned. There is to be a small time skip, nothing great, but you might recognize it.

The child had come back to me that night, and I told the drone to take the egg to a swamp in the Everfree, anywhere with a cragodile.
The drone did so, and succeeded in baiting out a large cragodile. It lead it towards the egg, and the facehugger did the rest.
The resulting Xenomorph was a giant, armored xeno, with thick, muscled body, and walked more on all four than upright.
I then told the drones to find a Timberwolf, which wasn't hard, and the embryo was laid.
The Xenomorph glowed a dark, almost black purple, and looked to be piecemeal, shattered. It had sharper claws than the other xenos, and had more teeth.
An interesting find, a creature attacked the cragodile drone while they were going around the swamp. It surprisingly looked like a deathclaws from the game Fallout 4. I had the drones subdue it, and it was impregnated, and the Xenomorph child was a demon. That's how it came out looking.
It was the tallest of them, just under me in height. It's claws were thick, but sharp. It had horns on its head, near the front and sweeping forward. And it's tongue, the second jaw, was different. It was more malleable, and wasn't a jaw, but a sharp barb. It would often dart from its mouth, mostly to help it see.
After that, I had the two drones head to other lands, and impregnate the other sapient species. Minotaur's, griffins, no changelings, they would come later, zebras, centaurs, and hippogriphs.
Then, I recalled my children, to hide. All but one. The first. He, was to watch the ponies, and stay out of sight, and hunt only when necessary. And so he did.
Twilight Sparkle got a scroll from her teacher, and was on her way towards Canterlot with her friends.
After the crazy morning on Applejacks farm, it had appeared in a flare of smoke. Grabbing some popcorn on the way out, they hopped on the train.
Arriving in Canterlot, the six ponies made their way to the castle. When they entered, Celestia was pacing at the top of the grand staircase in the castle foyer.
"Princess Celestia, we came as fast as we could." Twilight says to her mentor.
"Thank you Twilight, thank you all." Celestia says back.
"Is this about the weird crap going on around Equestria? My magic just wasn't able to stop what was happening, and everything kept getting weirder." Celestia nods at Twilight's comment.
"Follow me." And turns away.
My first drone came in, and told me what was happening. I hiss out some orders to my drones, and they take off, going to do their jobs.
I give my first born his task, and he goes out.
Time to protect, the fate of Equestria.
"I need you to wield the elements again, to help stop Discords reign of chaos from spreading across Equestria once more. Will you do it?" Celestia finishes telling Twilight. Twilight stops for a second, looking to her friends for comfort.
They all gave her a nod. Twilight smiles, looking towards her teacher.
"Celestia, you can count on us. Since you no longer can wield the elements, then it is our duty to help protect Equestria."
Celestia smiles softly, then turns towards the giant vault door that was behind her. Walking up, she lowered her head, and slid her horn into a hole on the door. Lighting up her magic, she pushes a small bit in to open it.
The magic glow spreads across the runes of the door. It opens, and inside on a pedestal sits an ornate chest. Celestia picks it up in her magic, and brings it out.
"Then, if your going to stop Discord, your going to need these." She says, while opening it. Upon doing so, it is empty. Everyone is shocked. Then Pinkie just up and says.
"Oh well. If anyone needs me, I'll be out side having some chocolate milk." And starts to walk out.
Twilight snaps out of it, and pulls her back over with her magic, and then says.
"How did someone steal the Elements of Harmony?" Celestia shakes her head.
"I don't know. The vault was sealed with a spell and lock that would only react to my magic signature. It doesn't make sense." She says.
Just then, a sinister chuckle echoes across the castle, coming from everywhere.
"Make sense? Sense is overrated. Randomness is so much better." Celestia Growls.
"Discord!" She says, through grit teeth and anger heavy. "Show yourself."
They all look around at everything, and see one of the stained glass windows blink. Looking at it, the little Discord starts moving.
"Did you miss me, Celestia? Cause I missed you." And Discord chuckles.
The drone goes into the tree house in Ponyville, and moves around. Moving around the library, the drone creeps along. Moving to the lower floor, it sees a book glow for a second, and goes over and grabs it.
It opens it up, and sees what it was told to grab. Scooping them up, it puts them in a old molded skin, and rushes back to Canterlot.
The girls all stepped into the labyrinth, and then the walls of the labyrinth changed, sprouting up between each of them, cutting them off from one another.
"Girls, we all need to calm down. We can still do this. We just need to get to the center, and we can regroup there." All the others but Fluttershy, who was having a heart attack in her section, heard her, and gave an ok. The girls then dart off, but not before a rustle behind them signifies something watching them.
Applejack ran along, running around corners, backtracking at dead ends, and trying her best to not panic.
Running past a turnoff, she sees something out the corner her eye, and stops, heading back. Getting closer to what she saw, it was three apples on the ground. When she got close, they started to roll away.
Chasing after the apples, she knew they weren't right, but they were the only thing she had to go off in this large maze. After chasing them for a few seconds, they get to a large grove of Apple trees, with apples of all different colors.
An apple falls on Applejacks head, and unseen to her, a creature moves along, into a large pond nearby, submerging itself to remain unseen.
More apples fell off the trees, and started to move towards Applejack. Gathering into like apples, they started to circle her.
"What in tarnation are ya?" Applejack asks.
One of the piles rises as it circles, and a face forms in the apples.
"We are the keepers of the grove," it says. "You may ask us one question." It finishes, before collapsing and circling.
Another pile rises, and a face appears.
"Past, present, or future." And collapse, before another pile and face.
"But know, the truth might not be so nice." And collapses as well.
Applejack thinks, and then asks her question.
"Alright. I don't like this Discord feller, and so I want to know. What is going to happen when this whole ordeal is over?" The piles of apples stop circling suddenly. Then, they all rise, and move away, towards a large pond nearby. As they get close, the three apples rise.
"The answer you seek, is shown in this pond." One says.
"Go ahead, take a peek." Says another.
Applejack gulps, but as she moves forward to look into the water, the creature that had been stalking her jumps from the water, and grabs Applejack.
Applejack screams, and tries to pull from the creature, but the creature holds her, and jerks her into the water, dragging her under. Applejack struggles, and tries to hold her breath as the creature drags her farther into the water. Eventually, she cant anymore, and she passes out.
The creature that had been digging through the ground sensed that something had changed for the mare in its grasp, and saw it had passed out. Feeling something about the earth change behind him, he moves back through the hole he funneled, and takes Applejack back to the surface.
The Timberwolf Xenomorph puts Applejacks limp body back on the surface, just as one of the walls of the labyrinth moves, and a path behind it is opened.
Twilight comes through, just as the Xenomorph puts the element of Honesty beside Applejacks unconscious body.
Twilight saw the creature, standing over her friend, and panics. Charging a magic blast, she prepares to fire.
Only for the creature to look up and see her. It gets on four paws, and screeches at her, and then runs off into the bushes off the maze. Dispelling her magic, she runs up to her friend.
Pinkie was bouncing along through the maze, cheerful and happy, when she hops around a corner and sees a large party setup. Seeing smiley faces on the balloons, and hearing laughter, she happily giggles along, bouncing around in the center of the party.
Suddenly, she gets tripped. Looking behind her, she sees one of the balloons has her ankle. All the balloons start to laugh at her.
"Hey, that wasn't nice. What gives?" Discord appears.
"Whats the matter Pinkie Pie I thought you liked laughing?" Pinkie nods.
"Yes, but even I know the difference of laughing at and laughing with someone. And don't even try to tell me my friends laugh at me, because I know for a fact that they do. But, it is only when I do something stupid. A good friend will laugh at you and help you get out of the stupid. A best friend will laugh, and then join the stupid. And all my friends have done that. So good luck changing me." And she gets up, and trots off, leaving a flustered Discord.
As she trots away, a creature darts above her, and drops something in her path. Looking down, she sees her element of laughter, and giggles, before picking it up and putting it on.
When she does, walking around the next turn, she sees Applejack and Twilight, both happy and cheerful to see each other. She runs over to her friends. She knows they laugh at her.
But she laughs with them.
Rarity trotted along, discussing with whatever the hell seemed to be following her. She heard it rustle about half an hour ago, and not a peep since, but she had the feeling that the thing might still be around.
"I had wanted to see the queen, not do outdoor sports. Oh well, it does one good to keep a healthy physique. Don't you agree?" She says, looking around, and not receiving a hint of an answer.
Turning her had back forward again, she runs into a stone wall. When her tears dry from knocking her face on the wall after a few moments, and maybe some unladylike swearing, she sees the wall has three diamond like gems, shaped and placed like those of her cutie mark.
"Congratulations, you found the only thing that is prettier than me. And I know you like it." He says, making them start to shine and gleam with surreal beauty. Rarity tries but fails, to stop her self from looking at the diamonds. Discord grins.
"Go ahead, dig it up. And it will be all yours." And Rarity grins.
Frantically, she starts to break away the surrounding stone from the diamond. Upon uncovering the massive chunk of diamond, about the size of a refrigerator, she hugs it and pets it.
But before she can do anything else, it is shattered. The giant diamond breaks, and the Rarity shrieks in horror as it almost explodes in all directions with tremendous force. When she finally can feel that she isn't in much pain from having been thrown from the blast, she looks where the diamond was, to see rubble.
Rushing over, she starts to toss pieces of rock aside, to find any piece of diamond left. Seeing a nice purple glow, she lifts the debris from atop the item, and sees a necklace on the ground.
When she sees it, she starts to remember. The element of Generosity. She is supposed to give more than she takes, but she is still allowed a selfish desire every once in a while. Picking up her necklace, she smiles warmly at her element. How could she have forgotten herself like that? It wasn't the right thing to do. Putting on her element, she felt her mind clear, and she growled lowly. Ahead of her, a wall of bushes came down, and she saw Applejack, Twilight, and Pinkie, all of them seeing her. She waved to them, and went to them.
She might be able to be selfish every now and then, but she could also be generous, and give her friends her time.
Fluttershy had been given her element by the creature she was following about ten and a half minutes ago, and as she followed, all she ever saw when she turned the corner, was a long, spine covered tail disappearing around a corner farther down. She would go to that corner, turn, and see the same thing again, turning a corner. Rinse and repeat, that had been happening since a little after she had started into the maze what seemed to be forty some odd minutes before.
Calmly walking to the next corner she was supposed to turn, she went around it, only to see a dead end.
"Something isn't right. I don't like this." She says, starting to quiver and turn her head about, trying to see if she had made a mistake, or see if something was sneaking up on her. Finding nothing, she turned back to the dead end, only to see three butterflies right in her face.
Squealing, she runs and dives into the nearest bush in a panic, only to finally register what she saw.
"Wait, it was only butterflies." Coming out of the bushes, she sees the butterflies are still there, flitting around. Walking up to them, she asks.
"Um, little butterflies, have you seen anything come this way? I was following some creature, and it lead me here, to this dead end." The three butterflies in front of her, started to answer, when the hedge behind the butterflies was shredded, and a hissing sound came from behind the three Lepidoptera. The three butterflies turn around, to see a black face, sticking out the bushes of the side of the maze, with its lips pulled back revealing teeth dripping with thick, viscous saliva. it hisses again at the butterflies, and then lunges out, trying to bite one.
The butterflies transform back into Discord, who flies away in a panic, as the xenomorph bursts from the bushes and chases after him, shredding the bushes behind him as he exits them.
Through the gap in the wall, Fluttershy sees her friends, and quickly rushes to join them. When they all meet, she hugged Twilight, and then proceeded to tell her friends about what had happened.
She had an interesting day so far.
Rainbow was running as fast as she could through the labyrinth, and she had heard herself being followed. It had happened a while after she had started to run through all the twists and turns, and panicking. If she were ever accused of panicking in the maze, she would deny it flat out. But she did, and after finally calming herself down, she had started to gallop around with a purpose. After that, she only heard a faint rustle. She didnt know what it was, but she had a feeling it was Discord.
Running along, she turned a corner, and saw a cloud in front of her, shooting out rainbow lightning bolts. Seeing it, it moves away.
"Get back here!" She says, running after it.
Going around a few corners, she runs into a clearing. In it, she sees Discord, laying on a hamic of clouds. Stretching, Discords back pops.
"Oh, I can see why you like these clouds. Very plush." Rainbow got angry.
"Okay Discord, I'm tired of this shit. Give me back my wings and element, and we may go light on you." After she said that, the element of loyalty was dropped at her feet.
Both Discord and Rainbow stared at it. Rainbow looks up at Discord, who looks at her. Rainbow asks.
"Was that you?" Discord shakes his head. Rainbow picks it up, and suddenly, all the girls are dropped in the clearing, and as They are all dropped in, Twilights element falls in front of her. When she puts it on, all their horns and wings come back. Discord panics.
"Rainbow, you said you'd go light on me if I gave them back, remember?" Rainbow nods.
"Yeah, if YOU gave them back to us. I have a feeling you didn't, so the promise is null and void. Lets do this girls!" And they all start to power up their elements, and the power surges out, into the heavens, before slamming back down onto Discord as he screams no.
The resulting explosion was a rainbow, and when all the rainbow smoke cleared, Discord was stone.
"You have done well, girls. I am proud of you for stopping Discord. How, though, did you get the elements?" Celestia says.
All six mares look between themselves, before telling Celestia how they got them. Applejack goes first.
"Well, I was going through the maze, when I came upon some apples that rolled away when I got close. I followed them, and came to an grove of apple trees, and they all dropped apples, and three piles of all the apples started to talk to me. They said I could ask one question, and I asked what would happen if we continued trying to stop Discord. They took me to a small pond nearby, and told me to look inside. When I went to, something lunged out at me and grabbed me. It drug me into the water, and I passed out because I couldn't breath. Then, next thing I know, Twilight was shaking me awake, and my element was on me." Twilight nods. Pinkie takes up the story next.
"I was bouncing along, when I came upon a balloon party in the maze. Going through, I got tripped by one of the balloons. They all started to laugh at me, and then Discord came and tried to make me believe that you girls all laugh AT me, not with me, which I already knew, and told him that I let them, because they do so as good friends. Hell, they've all seen me drunk before, and laughed at the stupid shit that happened. Well, anyways, after I told off Discord, I saw my element fall in front of me, and Discord left. Then, I saw Twilight and Applejack, and went to walk with them." Both the girls mentioned nod, and Rarity starts next.
"I was trotting through, and smacked into a wall. In the wall was some gorgeous gem, and then Discord hypnotized me, and said that the gem was all mine, and that nobody was allowed to have it. I will say, it worked, and I dug the gem out. But, when I did, something made it explode. After it did, I was searching through the rubble, and found my element in it. Remembering myself, I realized, being selfish everyonce in a while never hurt anypony, but being selfish always does hurt everypony. After I put it on, I saw Twilight and the other two walking around, and joined them." Which is then confirmed. Fluttershy then says.
"I was just following the creature that was leading me. The whole time, something led me, at least after the first ten minutes. I was given my element, and then followed whatever gave it to me. After a bit, some butterflies went by after it led me to a dead end. It scared me at first, till I realized they were butterflies but when I started to talk to them, something came out of the maze wall and chased them off. Then, when I looked through the hole left, I saw Twilight and them through it. So, I joined them." Confirmed. Rainbow then spoke up.
"Well, I was running through, and I wasn't really scared by anything they happened. I was somewhat following something, but it didn't show itself. So, I kept running through, when I saw a cloud with Rainbow lightning bolts coming out. I followed it, and came upon Discord. I was tired of his shit, told him so, and said to give our horns, wings, and elements back, that we might go light. Then, my element was just dropped at my feet. I asked Discord if he gave it to me, and he shook his head no. I put it on, and all the girls just appeared. Then, Twilights element just dropped down in front of her. After that, we blasted him. Thats all that I know." The rest of the girls nod, but then Fluttershy thinks.
"Hey, wait a second. I think I know what the creature was that I was following. I didnt see anything but it's tail, but it was all ridged with spikes, and a sharp spike at the end. Almost like the Xenomorph that helped us with Luna." Just then, they all hear a hiss.
It comes from all around them, and they look around for the source. The guards around the throne room become alert, and look around as well.
Then, from behind Celestias throne, it appears. Crawling over the back of it, the Xenomorph from the castle comes out. The guards all rush to get between Celestia and the creature, but then something drops from the ceiling in front of them.
The two creatures have a black carapace, and stand on two legs. One looks like the one that helped them, but the new Xenomorph is massive, twice the size of the first one. It has two horns on its head that sweep forward, and its head is oblong. It's claws are thick, and look sharp. Its feet are clawed. Its back is covered in sharp spines down its spine, and it's carapace looks thick. The guards all step back at this.
Then, Celestia feels something in her mind. It feels odd, animalistic, but of a hive minded animal. She lets whatever is trying to get in in, but only slightly. She then sees some images. Each one is of the girls, and what happened to them, from the eyes of a watcher. She gasps.
"They are the ones that gave you the elements, and guided Fluttershy." The girls all gasp, and the two xenomorphs hiss. Then, the first Xenomorph comes forward, with a scroll in its claw, before dropping it, and the two dash away behind the throne.
The guards rush forward, but find the creatures are gone. Grabbing the scroll, a guard hands it to Celestia. She opens it, and reads aloud.
"Dear Celestia and Elements of Harmony,
My children have helped you out. Tell Applejack I am sorry, but we had to pull you under to get you away from Discords puppets. The answer to the riddle, was the library in Ponyville, if any wanted to know. Also, the next event, shall come soon. Tell Twilight, that I look forward to meeting her.
The Queen."
Author's Note
Okay, it might seem stupid, but in lore, Xenomorph queens are able to use telepathy. So, I am not outside lore yet. Also, the traits that the xenos gained are the deadliest parts of the impregnated beasts. It is part of their biology, that they get traits of the host creature. So, I hope you like what I did, and having the Queen cut Discord off from ever doing any true mischief. Have a good night.
They tried to follow my children. I knew they would. But my children are smart. They know how to evade capture. The secret tunnels and traps around the castle are used to their advantage. They escaped easily.
Discord was stopped, successfully, and with minimal damage to the castle and city. I am proud of my children, for staying out of sight of the six. Soon, time would come for me to help again.
Twilight was pissed.
Her brother, hadn't even told her, that he was getting married, till just now, THE DAY BEFORE HE GOT MARRIED!
And then, it was to some random pony she had never even heard of. Who the hell was MI Amore Cadenza?
Sweet Celestia, she was going to give her brother an ear full when she arrived.
After passing through the shield earlier, she had been curious, but she was still angry that her brother hadn't told her. Walking through Canterlot, she finally was near the palace walls when she saw her brother on the wall. He had just sent out some more guards, so he wasn't busy.
"I have a few words to say to you, big brother." She says angrily. Guards immediately surround her with spears, but she doesn't seem swayed. She is still glaring at her brother with anger. Shining Armor saw her, and says.
"Twily! It's so good to see you again." After he says that, the guards back off from her, and she goes up to her brother.
"Yeah, so good. Not good enough though to come tell me your getting married!" Shining sighs.
Unseen to them, a creature in the shadows slips away.
My first child came to me, and told me what was happening. It would soon be time. My other children have already found Cadence, and have brought her to me. When she saw me, she had fainted, and hasn't woke up.
I had my children prepare, for they were to go out and protect the citizens when the attack started. They were to capture about fifty, and kill the rest. I had given them their orders, and they all screeched an affirmative to me. I had my deathclaw praetorian stay behind, and protect me, and guide Twilight when she arrives.
Everything was ready, now we needed to wait.
Twilight was getting worried. Something wasn't right about this Cadence. She wasn't the same as her old foalsitter. That Cadence had been nice, would have loved the bride's dress, the hors d'oeuvres, and been delighted by the semi childish party Pinkie had planned. Yet she seemed to be disgusted by it all.
Twilight was ready to get to the bottom of this, and she also wanted to talk to Shining that he shouldnt marry her. Something was wrong with her.
She arrived at her brothers house. Knocking on the door, her brother opened it, and seeing her, let her in.
"Hey Twily, looking pretty good now right?" He says, showing off his uniform. But when Twilight turns to him, her eyessad and hurt, he stops, and asks.
"Whats wrong, Twilight?" Twilight sighs, and says.
"Shining, I think your making a big mistake marrying Cad-" but she is cut of by somepony clearing their throat behind her. They both look to see Cadence standing at the door to the bedroom.
She sure has a way of sneaking up on ponies." Twilight mutters to herself as Cadence comes down the steps. Looking between the two, she says.
"I'd like to speak to my fiance. Alone." She then turns away. Shining chuckles, then says to Twilight.
"Better go see what she wants." And follows after her.
The two head into a room, and start arguing. Twilight can't make it all out, so she decides to get closer to find out.
When she does, she peaks through the cracked open door, and hears Cadence saying.
"I thought I told you not to wear that." Shining nods.
"You did, but it's my favorite uniform, and I want to look my best. So, I decided to wear it." Cadence looked angry.
"Are you disagreeing with me?" She says. Shining Armor looks angry as well.
"Yeah, I guess I am." He says, before his horn gives out a spark of magic, and he winces. Cadence just gets a baby face on, and looks at Shining.
"Aw, is your head hurting. Here, let me make it better." She says, and charges her horn with a green magic, before enveloping his head in it.
When she does, Shining Armors eyes turn a sick green color, and they start to roll around in his head. Soon, Cadence let's up, and Shining stands up. His eyes are still green, and Cadence laughs.
"Now, what are you going to do?" She says.
"Listen to you, always." He replies. Cadence laughs.
"Good. Go ahead and wear the uniform, I don't care."She says, and they walk out the door, to see Twilight running away out the front door.
Reaching the castle, Twilight runs to the room she and her friends are staying in, she opens the door, but before she can talk, she sees her friends wearing dresses. Applejack sees her and waves, an Fluttershy comes over.
"Aren't they wonderful. We are going to be Mi Amore Cadenzas new bridesmaids." Twilight is baffled.
"But what happened to her old bridesmaids?" She says. Applejack answers wimsically.
"I don't know, but she said she would love love love, for us to be her bridesmaids. You know, since we have been doing so much for her lately. And you said all those things about her." She says, before the whole room erupted once again into how nice it would be to be the bridesmaids.
Twilight just turns around, and walks out.
"I guess I am alone in this." She says, walking away.
My child who was watching the six came back, and told me something about missing bridesmaids, and I remembered. The bridesmaids were in the crystal caverns under Chrysalis spell.
I sent the drone to look for them, and to bring them here. It does so, and bout an hour later, it returns with them. Webbing them up and then knocking them out, I tell it to go watch once more, and when Twilight is sent into the caverns, to go prepare to defend the ponies.
The next day, Twilight had had it. She would tell everypony the truth, that Cadence was evil. Then she'd explain wht, and they would see what she meant. She knew they would come around to understanding why she thought this was wrong. She arrives at the throne room just as she heard Shining Armor say.
"Hey, has anypony seen Twilight today?"
Twilight took a breath to steady herself, and then threw the doors to the throne room open with her magic.
"I'm here. And I am not going to stand next to her. And neither should you."
Shining looks nervous, and turns to Cadence.
"I don't know why she is like this." Cadence scoffs.
"Maybe we should ignore her." She says with a annoyed tone. Twilight growls.
"You have to listen to me." She says. Her friends try to stop her, asking if she isn't feeling well and what not. Twilight dodges them all, and steps forward.
"I have something to say,"she says, and points to Cadence. "She is evil!"
Everypony gasps, including the guard. Twilight explains.
"She's been horrible to my friends," she teleports behind Cadence, and starts to back her up to a wall, " she has obviously done something to the bridesmaids, and she put a spell on my brother that hypnotized him into doing what she wants him to do." She says, now having Cadence against a wall. Cadence starts crying.
"Why are you doing this to me?" She crys, as she turns to run out the throne room. Twilight smiles, watching her go.
"Because your evil." Cadence runs out the room, and Twilight teleports to the door.
"Because your evil, and if I don't stop you, then your going to ruin my brothers life." She yells at the fleeing Cadence. Turning around into the room, she stops when she sees her brother pissed at her, standing behind her.
"You know that spell that, so called, hypnotized me? Well, ever since I put up my protection spell, I have been having horrible migraines. That wasn't a hypnotizing spell, it was to help with the pain. The hypnotization, is probably me having a been semi doors up because of the spell. And the reason she has been so rude, is probably because I haven't been able to do one fucking thing to help her, since I put up the barrier, and have been trying to find the threat to Canterlot and our wedding. And the bridesmaids, she felt it would be nicer to your friends, since she was being so harsh, to make them the bridesmaids, to pay them back for helping her. And now, my little sister comes in, and starts accusing her of things, that aren't even true, and run her off crying."
Through that whole speach, Shinings voice grew from angry quite, to angry yelling. Twilight was shrinking away from her brother, and gaping at what he said. He took apart her argument, because they were already explainable.
"If you'll excuse me, I need to go comfort my bride. And forget about being best mare. Hell, if I were you, I wouldn't bother coming to the wedding at all." Shiningnthen leaves the room.
After a moment, her friends do too, not looking at Twilight. After them, Celestia starts to leave as well. Before she goes, she stops by Twilight. Twilight looks up at her mentor.
"I- I thought-" but Celestia cuts her off with a hoof.
"Maybe I was being overprotective." She says through her sobs. "I ruined everything for him, and I ruined everything for Cadence." She sobs as she walks over to the steps to the throne, and when walking up, stumbles, falling over. Sobbing even more, she just sits there on the steps.
"What have I done?" She says, and then starts crying some more.
After about three minutes, she felt a hoof gently rubbing the back of her head, and looks up. She sees Cadence, standing there with an understanding smile, looking at her warmly. Twilight hiccups, and says.
"I'm sorry." Cadence just looks on, but then her eyes flash green, and her smile warps into a wicked grin as her horn alights with a green glow.
"You will be." Before setting a green ring of fire around her, that covers her in a bubble. It then slowly starts to sink into the floor, Twilight strapped inside screaming, as Cadence turns and starts to walk away.

She has arrived in the caverns. I send my praetorian out to find her, and guide her back to me. She needs to speak to Cadence, and they must get back to the wedding quickly.
Twilight fell into darkness. She couldn't see anything because it was so dark. She lit her horn with a small amount of light, and the room started to glow. She calls out.
"Hello." But receives only an echo. She gets up and starts to move forward.
"Is anypony out there?" She calls out, before slamming into a wall.
Pulling back, she looks at the wall. On it, she sees her reflection. She brightens her horn, and sees more of her reflection around the room.
Then, laughing is heard from all around. Looking around, panicked, Twilight asks.
"Where am I?" The wall behind her suddenly has multiple reflections of Cadence surrounding her.
"The caves beneath Canterlot. Once used by greedy unicorns who claimed the gems they found inside. But right now, its your prison." Twilight looks around at the reflections in fear.
"HELP! HELP!!!" she yells, starting to run wildly. The evil Cadence laughs gleefully.
"It's no use," she says as her reflection appears on some crystals closer to Twilight, "no one can hear you. And no one will think to look for you either." Her reflection disappears, and reappears elsewhere, on another set of crystals.
"Most ponies have forgotten these caves still exist." Her reflection starts to randomly appear and disappear as she continues talking.
"This is the ideal place to keep anypony that tries to interfere with my plan." She starts to laugh maniacally, and Twilight is mortified.
"Plans? What plans?" She says, looking at multiple Cadences. The Cadences look at Twilight with a mischievous grin.
"The plans I have for your brother of course, and for all of Canterlot. Isn't it obvious?" She says, laughing once again. Twilight gets angry, and starts to charge her horn, and says.
"Don't you dare do anything to my brother!!!" She screams, and again Cadence seems unafraid, laughing at Twilight.
"Then try and catch me." She says, then her reflections start to run down corridors and passageways, Twilight blasting at the reflections. Cadence is giggling the entire time, taunting her and angering her more and more.
The reflections turn a corner, and Twilight rushes around it, and falls of a cliff. As her scream starts to fill the caverns with its noise, Cadence laughs, and her reflections disappear.
Twilight continues to fall, and then she is grabbed by something. Her fall stops, but she keeps screaming, until a claw like hand is put over her mouth, and her screams are muted. Trying to look around, she cant see anything, but when she tries to lite her horn, a claw flicks it, and it causes her to stop and try to get rid of the pain by rubbing it. That's when she realizes her arms are being held, and she panics more.
Then a hissing sound is heard, and she stops, looking around. The entity that holds her, moves her and adjusts her, and then she can feel them moving quickly, climbing over and around the passageways like it was born here.
After a moment, Twilight can feel the change in air, as if they had entered a large room. She looks around, and she can see better than before. Everything isn't sunlight bright, but she can see as if it is twilight, a gray dusk light coming from all around. The shadows in the corners of the room, look to be moving, and she can hear a clicking sound coming from all around. The creature holding her sets her on her hooves, and when she turns around to get a look at it, it is already in the shadows. Then, a much louder hiss comes forth from the darkness around her, and the noise stops instantly.
It stays quite for seceveral minutes, before Twilight hears a hiss from the dark again. After that, she feels a presence, trying to enter her mind. Quickly, she tries to throw up a magic barrier against it, but it attacks, and says one word, in a motherly but stern voice.
"Stop."
Twilight stops trying to cast the spell around her mind, and listens. She can somehow feel, from the one word, the age and power of the entity talking to her.
"Listen."
Twilight nods. She doesnt know what is happening, but this entity knows what we is doing.
"I am not going to hurt you. I am not going to kill you. I am going to help you. Your foalsitter, was abducted. She is here, safe with me. Your friends, where misguided, and blinded by the imposter. They are not to blame, for your imprisonment in my caves. The imposter is. My children will fight for you, and protect your kind. Equestria will not fall. You two are needed at the wedding, and my children will escort you out. I will be joining the ceremony shortly."
A hiss filled the chamber, quickly turning into a screeching roar, and the noise in the room started again. Twilight looked around frantically, and saw shadows part, and Cadence came into view out of them.
Her eyes were panicky, and she saw Twilight, and started to struggle in the weird cocoon she was held in. The shadows moved, and she was cut down. She tore the gag she had out of her mouth, and says.
"Twilight. How did you get here? What is happening? What are these things?" She had ran over to Twilight, and they were hugging. Twilight could tell, by the look in this Cadences eyes, that she was the reason Cadence.
"You remember me." Twilight says happily, holding her sitter from her youth in her arms.
"Of course I remember my favorite filly. I would never foget you. But please, we ned to go, we need to get out of here before they capture us again." Twilight shakes her head.
"Don't worry, they apparently know what is happening, and is going to help us." She is then grabbed by a tail, and lifted into the air. She gave a yelp, and hears another from nearby, and can see the creatures now.
"Xenomorphs!" Twilight gasps.
"Xeno-what?" Cadence says, still panicked about what is happening.
"Xenomorphs. I've only seen one, but theres almost a hundred here. How did this happen?" Suddenly, they are off, crawling through the caves at high speed.
"Twilight, where are they taking us?" Twilight replies.
"They are taking us to save Shining Armor." She says. To herself, she says.
"Hang on everyone, we're coming to save you."
It was time for me to emerge. I will help. I promised myself I would, and I will not back out now. I turn to my praetorian, and hiss out for him to help free me from my self imposed prison. He screeches a response, and comes over to me.
Lovingly, he nuzzles me, and then starts to use his extra sharp claws to cut my wrists. I hissed lowly, in pain, and he continued. My blood poured from the wounds, and started to eat through the web like substance. A few moments later, they were so weak I was able to snap right through them.
For the first time in three thousand years, I stood. I towered over my guard, and rose to my full 7.5 meter height. My guard, as a praetorian, would be larger than normal xenomorphs to begin with, was the size of an actual queen. I am the size of the empress, without all the scars and wrinkles of the actual empress. I was not to the size of the great queen mother, a colossal 15.2 meters, but I would be there eventually.
I stretched myself out, and worked out the kinks in my carapace. I am ready to go.
I turn to my guard, the deathclaw xeno, and tell him to lead me to just under the throne room. I would make my entrance there. And so he started to lead me, me running along behindnhim, smashing through crystal and rock with my head crest, and my body.
I will get Chrysalis, and end her reign as queen.
Twilight and Cadence were lead outside, with only the two xenomorphs being with them. They were outside the front doors to the castle, and could hear the vows being said. They rushed in, and quickly ran as fast as they could to the throne room.
Celestia was just getting to the end, about to pronounce them mare and colt. They renewed their run, and reaxhed the doors. Throwing them open, Twilight yelled out.
"WAIT!!!" Everyone turned to look, and they all looked unhappy Twilight was once again stopping the wedding. The fake Cadence got angry.
"What, why is she here?" She says angrily, but when she sees Celestia looking at her, shw starts to cry crocodile tears.
"Why does she keep wanting to ruin my perfect day?" And then another voice, the same voice as the one who just spoke, say.
"Because its not your special day." Everyone looks back to the door. They gasp, seeing another Cadence, standing there.
"It's mine." Cadence says, stepping forward. Everypony in the audience gasps. Two Cadences. What's going on?
Cadenve was stunned.
"What, how did you escape the caverns?" She says angrily.
Twilight and Cadence look at each other, and smile.
Suddenly, everyone in the room felt a sharp jab at their concious. A voice hissed, and it's power was untold, it's age unfathomable.
"They escaped because something far older than you has nested in the deep. Something far older, and knows far more than you has been watching, waiting, for the moments it knew it would need to help. And my children, are hungry." it hisses through everyponies mind, and everypony looks around to find the possible source of the voice. Cadence is looking pissed.
"You call me young. I am almost 1300 years old, nothing, not even the princessess, are older than me" ponies in the room have started to flee, wanting to get out, feeling the presence anger welling up. Celestia steps forward.
"This doesnt matter, what are you, if not Cadence?" Cadene turns to Celestia.
"Shes a changing. They take the form of a loved one, and feed of that love for them." Cadence says. Cadence turns to her, and starts to laugh.
"Correct. And since i no longer need this disguise." She says, anx suddenly a burning ring of green fire surrounds her, and covers her form. When it dies, standing there is a black pony, with insect like wings, and holes in her body. Her horn is twisted, and her skin is continuous. She opens her eyes, and starts to laugh.
"Oh, it fels good to let my wings out." Celestia gasps, then growls at her.
"Chrysalis. I should have known." And Chrysalis laughs.
"And that's the funny part. Twilight was right all along. She saw through my disguise the second she first met me, and knew I wasnt really Cadence. And yet, not one of you believed her." She laughs maniacally. The mane 5, Celestia, and Spike look shocked. She was right, none of them believed her. The 5 turn to her, and say.
"Where sorry Twilight." She just smiles at them. Chrysalis looks at Celestia.
"Soon, my children will invade, and Canterlot will fall. And once this dreadful city has crumbled, the rest of Equestria will follow." She laughs again. Celestia moves to stop her.
"Not if I can stop you first." And she charges her horn. Firing a beam of pure solar energy at Chrysalis, Chrysalis responds with a beam of magic back. The two collide, and Celestia pushes on Chrysalis's magic. But Chrysalis smiles, and puts more power into her horn. The beam starts to head towards Celestia, and burns her horn. Celestia is thrown from the strength of the magic attack, and falls on the floor at the feet of the elements. Celestia weakly looks to them, and says.
Vyou need to run. Find the elements, and use them to fight the ch anglings." And she slumps over. Twilight and them run, as Chrysalis laughs, and sends guards after them.
The girls run through the castle, and make it outside. Just as the barrier protecting Canterlot breaks, and hundreds of changlings swarm the city. They all run, and head towards the branch of the castle that holds the vault the elements are stored in.
Getting close, they are surrounded by changlings. They fight them.off, and make it to the doors of the branch. But when they open them, they see all a bunch of changlings inside. All with something on their face.
The 6 ponies head inside, and look at each changlings face. They all have some sort of creature on them, with a tail curled around th neck. It is deathly silent in the room, as the girls make their way to the vault. Opening it, they find the elements to be gone, and a large hole dug into it from the outside. Suddenly, the girls are grabbed from behind, and they see that some of the changlings in the room have woken. They are captured.
Chrysalis laughs at the captured Cadence.
"I can't believe the love this fool has for you has let me best Celestia. And soon, the elements shall be useless against me as well." Spike yells at her.
"Oh yeah, I bet Twilight and the others have already got them and are on their way back." Chrysalis smiles at him.
"Oh really? How can they bave them, when they are right here?" She then brings out the chest from the vault, and shows it to Spike. Spike just gasps, and then shoots some fire at her. Chrysalis blocks it with a shield, and the changlings near her caccoon Spike in a hard green substance, and attach it to the roof.
Just after, the doors to the room open, and the changlings bring in the mane 6. Chrysalis just laughs again.
"And just like that, nothing can stop me." And suddenly, the presence from before comes swelling back up, and everyone gets a headache from it.
"Little changling, you think you have won, but you fail to see the grand scale. Look out the windows, look at the changlings that brought in the 6, and you will see, you have won nothing." Chrysalis growled.
"I am not afraid of some voice. Show yourself, or are you a coward, hiding in the shadows?" The presence laughs.
"The shadows, are where I and my kind live. They, are our ally. And I, am their queen." a hissing sound fills the entire throne room, and a loud banging sound is heard from everywhere.
"You think yourself queen, when you know nothing about ruling. You think your not afraid, but you have never met me. You should start to be afraid, as my children have already arrived, and they will burst forth in moments." suddenly, the changlings holding the 6, start to groan, and then collapse screaming. The girls move away from them, and watch.
Suddenly, all of their chests heave of their own accord. The changlings are screaming, and suddenly, the chest of one burst open from the inside. Then all the others have the same happen, and creatures break through the chests. Covered in the blood of the changlings, the little xenomorphs screech. And suddenly, they disappear from the chests.
Chrysalis looks on, as does everypony in the room, horrified and disgusted.
"What abomination was that?" She asks. The presence hisses, and the entire throne room does too.
"My children have birthed, and you will join your children shortly." Chrysalis starts to look around, and yells out.
"I am tired of this. Show yourself, abomination." The banging heard before gets louder, and the presence says.
"Very well." and the floor explodes.
I rise from the hole me and my guard created, and turn towards the changling. Chrysalis sees me, and her face blanched. Her chitin grows white, and her eyes grow wide.
"Oh god." She says. And then, everypony else sees me. Twilight is the first to recognize me.
"The Xenomorph queen. That must be the queen. Shes the one who saved us in the caverns." I turn to "look" at everyone around, my semses helping me see them all. I then turn to Chrysalis, and let out a loud shriek. Chryalis is scared, I can smell it.
"Young welp, you are no queen. You are a false queen. But rejoice, for you will birth a new queen child for me."
I then grab her, and she starts to flail in my grip, shooting me with magic bolts tha slide off my armor like water over a ducks back. I grab her head, and from on my back, a royal facehugger crawls forward. I say one last thing to Chrysalis.
"Rejoice, Chrsalis, for your death will be in the bringing of a new life." and the Royal facehugger crawls on her, wrapling it's tail around her throat, and clamping its claws over her face. I then hand the body off to my guard, and he jumps back into the crystal caverns.
I turn to face the room, and they all are scared. I look out the window, and say to them all.
"My children have saved your kingdom. I have waited for three thousand years for this day. We will dispose of the bodes, but fifty living changlings have been left behind, and another fifty have been used to birth more of more of my children. I am sorry you all had to see that, but I did what had to be done." I turn to Twilight.
"Do not blame your friends for mistrusting you, nor your teacher for the same mistake. They were fooled, and led on by Chrysalis. They are not at fault, for anything that has happened." she nods, still scared. I reach to the ceiling, nd grab the two cacoons, pulling them down. I then cut them open, and free Celestia and Spike. Celestia looks at me.
"Are you truly the Xenomorph queen?" I nod, and he continues.
"Then, I speak for Equestria, in saying thank you for helping us. Please though, can you tell me what you meant by saying you are older than us? Chrysalis is young, but me and my sister are almost 2500 years old." I hiss in laughter, and say.
"I have been alive for 3217 years. Your castle in the everfree, I had built. I have been in the crystal caverns for all those years, and have been shaping this nation through the pony tribes here before you. The last of those tribes, died to birth my first child. You saw his remains in the castle." Celestia nods.
"Again, I thank you for helping us, and hope we can have a partnership that lasts for many years to come." I nod, and then turn to leave. Before I do, I say one last thing.
"I will leave only a few drones behind, to guard you. For all my guiding of your civilization, ponies will still have tendencies of violence. The 6 will be protected, as will the two princesses. Do not look for the drones, you won't find them, but they will be there, always watching. Goodbye, till we meet again." and I jump back into the caverns below.
They were looking for me. I was back in my chamber, my guard nearby. Thr drones I had watching the caverns had spotted the two sisters and their guards an hour earlier. I decided to let my children have some fun.
They snatched the first guard when she had fallen behind a short bit. They brought her to my chamber, and placed her on the wall. I hiss at the scared guard.
"Do not worry child. You will not die. My children have grown restless, and you were fine pray in their game. Quiet, and your princesses will be here soon." The scared guard only nodded, and kept her mouth shut. She couldnt see anywhere in the room, and being a Pegasus she couldn't use magic. She waited.
The next guard was taken from the front of the group, as he headed forward from the group a little ways to scout. He was brought back to my chamber, and I told him the same as the other guard. This one I knew could see me, for he was a thestral. He nodded, and whimpered from his position on the wall.
After the second guard, it became harder for my children to hunt them. They were now aware of something hunting them, and stuck near each other. The unicorns light did nothing to penetrate the thick darkness of the caverns, nor did Celestia's and Luna's. The thestrals had a hard time penetrating the darkness with their sight, and could only make out just beyond the edge of the light. My children were not dissuaded.
They took the thestrals first. One by one, they were brought to my chamber. Collected right from under the Princesses. Each one was told the same thing. They would be fine, and the Princesses would be here shortly.
The thestrals were scared. The darkness in my chamber was not as thick as the cavern, and they could see everything. The other guards asked them what they saw, and the response was they didnt want to know. I hiss in laughter, and wait.
The unicorns are brought next. When they are brought to my chamber, I tell them to not turn on the lights, as my children dont like it very much. One did, and he was quickly covered in more resin. Resin, if you remember, is the stuff the aliens make their hives out of. I hiss my dissapointment out, and the other guards understand. Follow the rules.
Finally, the last few guards are brought in. The princesses and guards had been getting more and more agitated during this whole game, and had startdd to throw magic at anything that moves. It didnt help.
The last guard is brought in. She struggles to escape the grasp of the drone she was caught by. She is tossed into the resin on the wal, and bound. She struggles, and I tell her the same thing I told the rest.
She doesnt care, and struggles. She shouts obscenities, and casts magic bolts into the surrounding darkness. The other guards try to tell her to stop, but she doesn't. She continues to cause disruption. Eventually, my guard has enough, and stands up.
He walks over to the guardsmare, and she sees him. Charging her horn, she fires a massive fireball at him, and he dodges it. The fireball lands harmlessly on the ground, and shortly after dies out.
But not before everypony present has gotten a look at what is in the chamber.
Almost a hundred of my children are in the chamber, and the fire startled all of them. They all stand and screech at the guards, screaming at them. The sound fills the chamber, and echoes through the entire cavern, bouncing off every crystal and stone in it. I know the Princesses heard it.
When the screeching stopped, I sent out a drone, to go guide the Princesses to me. It left, and found them. It hissed at them.
The princesses turn towards the sound, as my child makes its presence seen. By the light of their horns, they see it flick its tail in a follow me gesture, and then scurry off.
The sisters followed, and the drone led them. They walked for almost thirty minutes, before the drone disappears. The sisters try to brighten their light, only for something to flick against their horns, and they lose concentration on the light. When the light is gone, the two feel a prodding at their flanks, and they move forward.
They enter my chamber. The two princesses feel the change in the air as they enter, and the shadows dont feel so thick. They hear thousands of clicks and small screeches, hisses filling the chamber. And they hear whimpering.
"Sister, the guards are nearby." Luna says. The guards call out.
"Princesses, dont light your horns. You dont want to see whats here." A thestrals calls out. I hiss, and all other sound in the room ceases. I then project my thoughts to the sisters.
"Why have you come to my home? What business do you seek?" the sisters look around, but they dont see me. Celestia speaks up.
"We come to talk peacefully. You say you have been here for over three thousand years, yet we have never known you existed. How have you been here so long, yet no one has ever met you, or your children?" I laugh, my hissing going through the chamber.
"Because darkness is my ally. I have made myself unseen, as do my children, who where only born recently. The first to have met me, where the tribes of ponies who settled here long before you arrived. They worshipped me, and they learned from me. I was the one to give them the DNA to make the human pony hybrids. The last of the tribe, gave his life to allow my children to live. You saw his corpse. I have hundreds of children now. Do you wish to see?" the sisters think for a moment. Then, they shakily nod their heads. I then say.
"Light your horns, and shine them throughout the chamber." and they hesitantly do.
What they see terrifies them. They see my face near them, and they see my guard nearby. And they see my children, all over the walls, ceiling, everywhere. The guards are over on a wall, and the Princesses see them. They look to me.
"Please, release our guards." Celestia says. I snarl at them.
"When we are done, we will. Though, one didnt want to accept our hospitality. We may keep her, to bring me a new child." I was bluffing. I wouldnt harm the ponies. But if I could, I would make her my messenger. She would work in the dark, and be an efficient emmisary. Celestia and Luna think for a second. Then Luna says.
"What do you mean, bring you a new child?" I cock my head. Interesting. I have never known anyone to ask about the chestburster. I hiss out a sigh.
"When I put the facehugger on Chrysalis, it put an ovipositor into her throat, into the esophagus. It then laid its embryo into her chest. It grew, and the changlings that came in and died, are what happens when they grow up." the two blanch.
"They burst from the chest of the pony?" Luna says, mortified. I nod. The guard in question heard all I was saying, and started to squirm in her resin prison. The princesses saw her, and then looked at me. Celestia says..
"No. I will not let that happen to her. Whatever she may have done, I cannot let you do that. I am sorry, your highness, but no." I look at her. And then I screech into laughter. My guard joins me, as do my children. I laugh, and slowly stop, my children stopping too. I look at them, and they are still terrified, though they try to hide it.
"You couldnt see my bluff. I am forgiving. She didn't wrong me, and she wouldnt have been an incubator for my child. I would have her as my messenger. My emissary. My representative. She will live here, and she will learn and speak for me. Unless my presence is needed, she will speak as my voice." the princesses are surprised. Then, they look relieved.
"If that was what you wanted, then why not say? I would have given you an emissary if you had asked." Celestia says. I shake my head.
"No. Not just anypony will do. They have to be strong willed, and determined. They must be able to adapt. And they must be able to learn. She, has these traits." I walk over to the guard, and she is staring at me with wide eyes. I get near her, and she starts to glare at me. She can't speak through the resin over her mouth, though that doesnt stop her from trying. I then suddenly open my mouth and shoot my inner jaw at her face, it snapping dangerously close to her eye. She just continues to glare at me. I nuzzle her, and then move to her horn.
I start to nuzzle it, and she falters. Her eyes start to flutter, and her breathing quickens slightly. I stop, not wanting to go. Much further. I turn to the Princesses, and say.
"She is what I need. She will live here, work here, eat here, and she will relay my messages, and act as my voice. My eyes and ears will be near, to her, the elements, and you two. Cadence and Shining Armor are the only other two, but I will need to have children who can survive the extreme colds of the Frozen North and the crystal empire." the princesses are astonished.
"How did you know about the crystal empire? It has only recently returned." Celestia says.
"The same way I knew of Chrysalis, and waited for her. How I knew of Discord, and had my children collect the elements before the six were harmed. How I knew of Nightmare Moon, and sent my first born to stop her, and help the six. I know many things, about what is to come. I know that soon, Twilight will be getting a book. And she will become a princess. And then, she will have to fight Tirek. Do not try to challenge me, for my knowledge of you two is vast." The princesses nod. Then, Celestia thinks, and asks.
"What have you done with Chrysalis, might I ask? The last we saw, she had the creature on her face, and you tossed her to the caverns. What has happened to her?" She asks. I smile, my snarling lips not being seen as such. I then screech a short call, and one of my children come closer.
The child has a purple continuous armor, and has a horn and insect wings. She opens her moth to call back to me, and we see she has two long fangs like a snake, that retract when she closes her mouth. And she has fake eyes on her head, that look like a changlings natural eyes. And she is tall, the same size as my guard.
"She is the next queen. She will take a part of my hive, and create a new colony, where she obeys me, but runs independently." the princesses nod. Then, Celestia steps forward.
"Well, your highness, we need to leave. It is about time for the sun to set, and we need to do so. If we could have our guards back, that would be greatly appreciated." I nod, and Chrysalis and my guard move to the wall, and cut down all the guards, save for the one. Celestia sees this, and asks.
"Please can we have her too. We need to speak this over more, and if she accepts, we need to tell her family about what will happen. Give her time to say goodbye, in a sense." I think for a second. The princesses start to get nervous.
Finally, I nod, and Chrysalis cuts her loose. She falls to the floor unceremoniously, and she gets up and moves towards the group. She passes me and glares. I just smile at her.
The princesses then leave.
Celestia was deep in thought. She wondered if it would be such a good idea to have the unicorn guard the Queen had asked for be given to her. The guard in question was a blue coated mare with a forest green mane, and her name was Harvest Night.
Her family had disowned her when she was young, before she joined the Royal guard, so she had no one to say goodbye to. Her family life to begin with was rough. The family, like the Apples, believed in strong family ties, and staying in the business. But unlike the Apples, if one of them went against the grain, they were disowned, and never allowed back into the family. They weren't allowed into reunions, they weren't allowed to buy food that came from their farms. Her childhood had been spent growing up on the streets, since she was thrown out for even thinking about joining the guards. She had grown up in an orphanage, and when she was old enough, applied to Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. When she joined, she learned all she could, and graduated early. Afterwards, she joined the guard, and eventually reached the rank of Lieutenant. The oddest thing was, she still hadn't found her cutie mark.
Celestia debated, as did her sister. Reaching the castle entrance from the cave, they saw the guards waiting at the entrance. She told the escort guards to head to the barracks, but Harvest Night to follow her and Luna.
They went to her chambers, and then they set about lowering the sun and raising the moon. After that was done, they turned towards Harvest, and started to talk.
Harvest
"Lieutenant Harvest Night. What did you do when in the Queens chamber that may have warrentrd the predicament we find ourselves in?
"Princess, all I did was struggle, and though she told me to stop, I didn't. The other guards did too, and still I did not. Finally, at one point, the guard got up and moved toward me. I cast a fireball at it, but it dodged and it hit the ground, and exploding out from there."
Celestia thought.
"Do you think she was being honest when she told us about those four traits she wanted?"
Celestia looked at her sister, and then Harvest.
"Harvest, what do you have to say about the four attributes she said?"
Harvest looked at the two sisters.
"Ma'am, I think she is right. I am very strong willed, and determined. I am able to adapt well, maybe not very fast, but fast enough, and i do have a desire to learn. Also, and I am sorry for speaking out of line princesses, but I have no family. As you know, I was disowned when I was young, so I have no one to truly care if I am gone. And I understand what you might say. I am cared about by you two. Thank you. But that is even more reason. She is right. She needs somepony to speak for her at summits, and be her voice. Because I am pretty sure no one wants to look at her face and listen for very long. If my going down there to learn from her will benefit Equestria, I will gladly do my duty."
Celestia and Luna looked at the guard. She was standing stoically before them, and they seemed proud of her.
"Harvest, I have know you since you were young. I taught you at school. I helped you get into the guard. You are the closest I might come to having a daughter. And when my sister came back, you offered to be a guard for her in her chambers, whenever you would be needed, day or night. And you have been one of my guards for years. Are you sure you want to give that up? To go be an emissary?"
Harvest just nods. Luna comes forward.
"Then, it would probably be best if we legally declare you dead, and change your name. The Queen may do something from there, but we must do this so she can talk to the noble houses, and her family, when they come to meetings and summits."
Celestia nods, and then hugs Harvest.
"You are right Luna. So, from this night forth, Harvest Night is dead. Your new name will be Nightshade.
Nightshade nods.
"Yes ma'am."
"Nightshade, you will report to the guards in front of the doors to the crystal caverns, and tell them they are relieved of duty, and then enter the caves. Harvest, I want to say thank you for looking out for me after I came back."
Luna then gives her a hug. Celestia does too.
"Goodbye, Harvest. Also, your only Nightshade on paper and to anyone who is not aware of your position change. Please note that, if we slip up. Now, I think it best to send you on your way." And they all let go.
"Goodbye, Princesses. It has been an honor to serve you." And salutes.
They both nod, and Luna hands her the orders for the guards at the gate to the caverns.
Harvest then leaves the room, and heads back to the doors she came out of almost twenty minutes ago. Reaching them, she tells the guards to leave, and shows the papers from Luna. They do as she says. Then, Harvest moves through the gate.
She gets grabbed immediately, and she is then taken through the caverns at a breakneck speed to her. moments later, she feels herself enter a large chamber, and can hear the xenomorphs crawling around and hissing. She is set on the ground, and she then hears a hiss, louder than all the others, and the room is silent.
"So, the princesses have decided to send you. Good. We have time then to complete the spell, and get you into your outfit." Harvest was curious now.
"What do you mean, spell, and also what outfit?" The Queen looks at her.
"We need to go to the spell circle, and use the moon to give us the energy to complete the spell. Come." And Harvest feels herself be picked up by a bigger creature than first grabbed her, and carried along.
She feels herself being carried for about ten minutes before she is brought outside, and she can see the moon shining above them. Looking around herself, she sees that they are now in a giant hollow in the mountain. She can see the Queen, and all the xenomorphs around her. In the center of the room, is a dais. Near the her side of the room, stood a bowl on a pedestal. She was set down by what she now sees was the guard, and she looks to the Queen.
"Go forward, and drink from the bowl. And after, step onto the dais." Harvest looks at the Queen, and then the bowl, before stepping up to it.
Looking in, she sees it is full of a black, gooey substance. She slowly lowers her head to the bowl, and dips her muzzle in, and sucks up some of the liquid. She immediately pulls her head out, and starts coughing violently. She breathed in after she had tasted it on accident, and swallowed and inhaled the stuff in her mouth. The Queen speaks.
"Please, step on the dais quickly." Harvest moved to the dais, and stood on top of it. When she does, she sees the ground light up with a red glow.
The moment she reached the center of the circle, the dais, the circle lit up. The circle was to take the ponies DNA, and change it, using the black goo. And it was starting.
Harvest felt her bones cracking, and she started to scream. She felt like her body was being torn apart and melted, and the resulting soup being put back together and the same thing happening again, over and over. She could feel her bones growing, and her organs shifting. Her teeth felt different, and her body felt off. She no longer felt her hooves, but something else. Her head felt oddly shaped, and she could tell something was off. When the pain finally subsided enough that when could see, and think truly coherently, she tried to stand, only to fall over.
She looked to herself, and found that her legs were different now. Instead of four legs, she resembled what she could only describe as a minotaur, but the feet were different. Her body was shaped differently, and her front two legs ended in hands, like Minotaurs. But the feet were two flat pads, resembling hands but the fingers, as she vaguely remembered the appendages on hands being called, we're smaller, stubbier. On her chest were two fairly large lumps, about the size of apples. She could see her marehood between her legs, and her tail immediately came around to cover it from view. And that was when she saw that her tail was no longer made of hair, but was shaped much like the Queens tail, long, divided in segments, with little spines along it, and a sharp barb at the end. Her fur was still there, but she could feel an exoskeleton like shell under it that was flexible.
She tried again to stand, and when she used her tail to help her stabalize, she found it much easier to stay upright, in a bipedal manner.
And then she feit hunger. She was hungry, and she made it known. She lets out a loud screech, and the Queen nods. A Xenomorph then brings in a live cow, and drops it near Harvest. When she sees it, she immediately jumps on it, and grabs its head, before ripping its head open with the claws on her fingers. Showing her head into the opening, she bites into the skull, and a chunk of the bone comes off, which she spits aside. She then buries her head into the open skull, and feasts on the brain matter inside. When she finishes, she tears into the neck, blood pouring out of the body onto her. Her fur then gets matted with the blood, and glistens in the moonlight.
After a while of eating the cow, she stops, full. The cow is almost a quarter gone.
She steps back from the cow, and upon seeing it, and realizing it was once living, finds that she can't bring herself to be horrified that she had just killed it, and ate it. She looks to the Queen.
"My Queen, why do I not feel sad about having killed that cow?" The queen nods.
"Because survival is important, and your new mind knows that. Do not worry, you still can feel, but you won't feel regret for non-sapient creatures, or those that attack you." Harvest nods. The queen speaks again.
"Come here. We must get the armor onto you, so you wont be going around naked." Harvest looks at her Queen.
"But why must I wear clothes? I never wore them before, and the princesses wear nothing but their regalia?" I nod my head.
"Yes. But your new body will need covering so that you may not be considered rude. It is improper for a mare to go around presenting themselves to everypony, yes? It is much the same now. Also, the armor will be to intimidate the other races. If you wish for different clothes, then you must talk to a designer." Harvest nods, and bows.
"Yes, my queen." The Queen nods, and becons for her to follow. Moving towards the wall across from the dais, the Queen points to an indentation in the rock, its shape similar to Harvests new hands.
"Place your hand and push. Then, retrieve the armor and put it on." and Harvestputs her hand in the indent, and pushes. The stone moves, and a pressure pad then opens a door in the wall, it sliding open with the sound of stone on stone.
Inside is a set of armor and two weapons, an axe and a spear, that the Queen had made long ago by the tribes, before the others arrived. Harvest looks at it, and then pulls pieces out, and starts to put it on. A drone is called to help her, pulling and adjusting the pieces as she puts them on. It takes a bit, but she finally has on the armor, and she looks like a Predator. To be specific, the human predator, Machiko Noguchi.

She gathered her weapons, and then the mask. The mask didnt actually do anything, it was just for intimidation, as Harvest could now see in the dark just as well as all the other Xenomorphs. Same had a Predator contracting spear, arm blades, and a katana at her side. All of the weapons could survive the acidic blood of an Xenomorph.
"Come, child. Let us start your training, and get you ready for the road ahead."

Hey guys, so I am bringing in something not entirely from out of nowhere, as the black goo is capable of doing what I said, as it is supposed to help shape life. So, what happened to Harvest isn't that unbelievable. Also, she will be more of the focus from here on, and the Queen will be more background. Sorry, but thats how I want it, and it makes it easier. You will see more of Harvest's new from coming soon.
I found out more about myself. I am able to crawl on walls, and the ceiling. It was quite fun the first time I did so. Also, jumping from one place to another, almost like I am part frog. Its so far.
But anyways, my queen has given me an assignment. I am to go to the princesses, and tell them about how I have changed. And then, accompany the Mane 6, as she called them, to the newly come back crystal empire, and observe. Some of my brothers and sisters will be joining us, the guards of the six for the most part. I personally had my guard next to me. The Queen had allowed me to pick who I wanted to look over me, and I had chosen the Human drone. The first one. She had okayed it, and he now walked beside me, alternating between walking and crawling.
We made it to the doors to the castle, and I took my helmet off. I wouldn't need it in the castle. I knocked on the door, and it was opened for me surprisingly. I wasn't expecting guards to be at the door.
When I stepped through the door, I was immediately surrounded by the guards. Jun hissed at them, but I put my hand on his head, and he stopped.
"I am here by order of my Queen to talk to the princesses. I am Nightshade." The guards backed off, though they kept their gaze on me. I just flicked my tail in annoyance.
I was lead to the princesses though. When we arrived, I had Jun hide, and then entered. I knew he would be around, hidden in the shadows. When the princesses saw me, they gasped.
"Nightshade, is that you?" Celestia asks. I nod.
"What happened to you? What are you wearing? Why are you here, is something wrong?" Luna asks. I shake my head.
"I am only here to talk. My Queen had this done, in a hollow deep in the mountain. It was painful, but I am grateful. It made living down with them much easier. I am enjoying the sparring with them. I am also to accompany the six elements to the crystal empire." Celestia and Luna look surprised I know of the Empire, and by extension my queen. They nod after a moment though.
"Well, that is fine. We expected their guards to accompany them anyways. Though please, tell us more of what has happened in the last week or so? And about what has happened to you." Celestia says. I think for a second on how to respond.
"Well, the night you sent me back down is the night I was changed. She had me taken to the ritual hollow, and had me drink some sort of black goo. Then, she had me stand on a dais, and then some ritual spell circle appeared. After that, I started to feel an excruciating amount of pain, and I could feel myself changing. It hurt pretty bad, but after that, I ate some raw meat, and felt much better. I'm now carnivorous, and I have this tail. And I have this body. The armor came from the ancient tribe who was here before, as did the weapons. I have been training for the last week and a half on how to fight, run, climb, jump, and see like my brothers and sisters." The princesses look intrigued.
"Your brothers and sisters? What do you mean?" Luna asks me.
"When I was changed, my mind was changed as well, to help me with adapting to my new body. It also a few speech quirks as well. Forgive me." They nod.
"I understand well. I still have moments where I relapse into the old way of talking, and I find it troublesome. You don't have the same problem, but it is similar, and you have my sympathy." Luna says. I nod.
"Twilight will be here soon, and her guard Jared. He is her Xenomorph guard. When I am giving her her assignment, would it be alright if you step out? It is not out of disrespect, but I would like to speak to her in private." Celestia says. I nod.
"That's fine. I don't mind." However I will be sneaking back in to listen.
"Thank you." Celestia says. We then hear a knock on the door to the throne room, and I bow out as Twilight is called in. When she passes me, she stares wide eyed. I just ignore it, and walk out.
Outside is the Mane 5, since Twilight is in the throne room. When they see me, Rainbow Dash gets defensive.
"Hey, who are you?" She demands.
"I am Nightshade. Emissary to the Xenomorph queen. I am here to accompany you to your destination. And, if need be, protect you from harm." Rainbow relents. Rarity steps forward.
"Where did that armor come from dear? It is very showy. And the animal skulls don't do much to help." Fluttershy had been looking at said skulls for a while.
"I am sorry. The skulls came with it, and I just put them on. The armor was made by the ponies who where here before the three tribes came. It was given to me after I was changed from a pony into what I am now." That gets Applejacks attention.
"Wait, you used to be a pony? Why did they change you?"
"To help me adapt to our environment quicker. I can see just like my brothers and sisters, and can walk like them too. The tail is also useful for attacking. And, now I can actually speak to them, instead of just communicating through my queen." I then turn to the shadows in the upper part of the right hand side of the room, and screech and hiss.
Shortly after, all of the guards come out of hiding. They come up to me, and bow. I hadn't thought to much into it, but now I wondered why they did that. I lean forward, and give them all a kiss on the head, and they rise. Turning back to the girls, they are surprised by the appearance of the guards.
As are the castle guards. They have their spears and swords out, but after a moment, they put them away. I ignored them, and went about petting the guards. Suddenly, I heard a hiss, and saw Jun. The meeting was over, and he had gave me a quick summary of what had happened. Twilight was told to be nice to us, and head to the crystal empire to help save it. I nod to him, and he hides again as Twilight comes out the throne room.
Upon seeing the guards, she is shocked to see all of the guards in plain view. I give a screech, and they all rush off. Moments later, I can feel their presence around the room, and the two in the throne room. I then say to Twilight.
"Ready to go? I have to believe we are on a schedule, right?" Twilight nods.
"Okay girls, we're heading to the crystal empire." Everyone but me is surprised. Applejack comments.
"Crystal empire, what's that?" Twilight replies.
"Come on, I can fill you in more on the way. It's to the frozen north, so I hope you packed for cold weather." She says. We all follow.
We had made it to the train, and made it to the frozen north. We exit the train, and the cold hit me like a tailwhip to the face from Geralt, the praetorian. It was freezing, I called one of the guards over, and asked him if they were going to freeze. He assured me they could survive just fine, they can get much colder than this before anything will happen to them.
Finally, after a minute, the armor started to heat up. After that, it was heating up my body, and making a visible cover of steam come off me from the snow melting off my armor. We heard something from a distance, and I pulled out my spear.
"TWILIGHT!" Twilight was happy, and ran towards the sound.
"Shining Armor!" She cried. But something sounded off about the voice. I know Shining Armors voice, and it didn't sound quite like him. It was too high, like he was going through puberty again. I chased after Twilight, and grabbed her and threw her back to her friends before the creature became visible. It's body was thin, so thin it was almost bone. It's legs had been contorted and stretched into long, gangly sticks. Its fur was gone, showing skin. It's eyes were pure white. It called out again.
"Twilight!" In Shining Armor's voice. It leaped at me, and I dove to the side, getting up quickly. It quickly turned around and came at me again. This time, it caught me, and I struggled as it bit into my neck. I didn't scream, but it hurt. But after a few seconds, the creature was screaming.
My blood was all over its face, but wherever it touched was starting to be eaten away, melted. My blood was so acidic, it was eating through the organs of the creature.
Shortly after its mistake of taking a bite and getting blood in its mouth, the creature was dead, it's body eaten through by my blood. After that, we heard another call out.
"TWILIGHT! Be careful! There's Wendigos out here!" It yelled over the storm. I listened, an this sounded like the actual Shining Armor. I pointed in the direction we heard it, and Twilight ran to it.
"Shining, it's okay. We got it taken care of." She yelled out, and she saw her brother.
"Twily." He says, and hugs her. And then he sees me, and pushes Twilight behind him.
"Twily, get behind me." But Twilight stops him before he attacks.
"Shining wait, she's sent by the Queen. She's with the xenomorphs. She's here to help us." He stops, and looks at her, then back at me. I speak.
"I am Nightshade, emissary of the Queen of the xenomorphs. If you don't believe that, then talk to the princesses, as they are the ones who gave me to her." Shining armor glares at me, and then shakes his head.
"Whatever, we gotta go. We don't want to be out here when night falls. Some unsavory beasts come out then." And he starts to lead the way, with us all following. I use some of my magic to start a healing spell on my neck, and the holes where the Wendigo bit me started to seal.
Roughly five minutes later, Shining Armor started to talk again.
"So, we think that when the crystal empire came back, everything sealed with it came back too. Something, we believe it's Sombra, has been trying to break into the crystal empire for the last few nights." Twilight was startled.
"But, I was sent here to try and stop the crystal empire from being retaken. If its already safe, why was I sent?" She asks Shining.
"Because-" but he is cut off by a howl in the distance. I bring up my cane. Shining turns back to the girls, and says.
"We need to get to the empire. Now!" And starts to run, the girls following. I just raise my head, and give a shriek into the air, and moments later the Xenomorph guards run past me, and grab all of them, running for the Empire.
The girls and Shining are startled, until the see what has them. After that, they are feeling a little safer. The only one feeling okay is Twilight, who has had this happen before.
I am running with them, my brothers and sisters faster than me. Behind me, I hear something approaching quickly. I turn.
I behold a giant shadowy, gaseous entity coming from the snow. It billows out, and when it stops, eyes appear, green and red, with a purple smoke coming from them. It looks at me, and comes closer.
"What are you?" It asks, its voice deep and echoing. "I have never seen your kind before. You look similar to the ponies who where in the valley below, before the three tribes came." I nod.
"Former King Sombra. I am Nightshade, emissary to the queen of the xenomorphs. I am similar to them, but I am different." Sombra is intrigued.
"Xenomorphs. What are they?" He asks.
"They are my brothers and sisters, my family, after my original family abandoned and disowned me." He is surprised now.
"Then why not join me, and I can give you an even better family? I can even make you the new head of your old family, and they all will serve you. You can rule with me, and we can make them pay for hurting you." I don't even have to think.
"No. I am with a family much greater now. I may not be the same as them, but my queen took me in, and helped me to become who I am now. Even if Celestia helped raise me, I now have a new mother, and brothers and sisters who will fight alongside me. You can take your offer and shove it up your ass, Former King Sombra." And I turn to run before he can realize what is going on. The path I take had been cleared by my brothers running through. I had a straight line, and my speed was getting faster.
I hear him roar right behind me, but I just keep running. I hear him give chase, but I am close to the dome over the Empire. I run faster.
An explosion behind me throws me forward, and I feel my horn hurt from the force of the magic blast. I go flying through the dome. I am helped up by the girls, who all stare at my horn. I look at a nearby piece of crystal, and see it is covered in jagged black shards of crystal, from base to tip. I shrug.
"Oh well, I don't care. I only ever used combat magic before, with some basic shield spells." And I turn back around to address the girls and Shining.
"We got business to do. Lets go." And Shining nods before heading towards the city. About five minutes later, he falls back to beside me.
"So, what unit of the Royal guard were you?" He asks.
"The unit under you. I was a lieutenant. I protected the throne room, and was part of Celestias personal guard. When Luna came back, I helped her and the new night guard. The last post I had, was to escort the princesses to my queens chamber, so they may talk. I was grabbed, it was a game for them, and brought before my queen. I resisted, and she apparently liked that. So, she asked for me to be given to her to be her voice in Equestria. And so, here I am." Shining was racking his brain for who I could be. Finally, he had a light bulb moment.
"Wait, Harvest Night? That cant be, I was told that you had died to a manticore in the forest, trying to save a platoon of guards sent to kill them for being to aggressive towards towns close to the Everfree. I even asked the current head of the platoon you saved through a message, and he confirmed it. Why did he lie to me?" He says, getting a little louder than I want him to be.
"Shut up. I'm legally dead because I am now an ambassador for the xenomorphs. I cant exactly talk to my family if they know I am alive. Ambassador or not, they will never talk to me. I was completely disowned, and it wont change. So, I died, and am now Nightshade, emissary of the Queen of Xenomorphs. Please, keep it quiet." But it was too late. Pinkie had heard.
"What, your name isn't Nightshade? But why didn't you tell us?" Loud enough for the others to hear. They all turn to us, and Twilight asks.
"What do you mean Pinkie? She told us her name is Nightshade, why do you think she lied to us?" Applejack comes up.
"She lied. I knew she did, but I also remember her. So I didn't say a word. I'm happy your able to do something you like now, Miss Harvest." I tilt my head to Applejack. Being a part of the Apple clan, she knew what had happened to me. The entire clan did. In fact, the Apple's had been one of the only families that helped me out when I first was disowned. I even played with Applejack when they came to my orphanage to help feed us children.
"I am too, Miss Applejack. And its protecting and speaking for my new family." And I felt an odd tingle on the sides of my ass, and on my left shoulder. I looked, and I saw a picture.
It looked like my mask, with a xenomorph curled like a fetus on the forehead. It was backed by my cane and spear. I stared astonished.
"I got my cutie mark." I say incredulously.
The others look back at me.
"What?" Rainbow asks. I look to her.
"I just got my cutie mark." I say again. I look back at my shoulder, then move to see my flank. It had the same picture. Rainbow was stupefied.
"Wait, your telling me you never found your cutie mark, until now? What the hay!" She says. I ignore her. Applejack smacks her in the head.
"Shut up RD. It's rude to comment on those things, and it isn't that uncommon for an adult to not have a cutie mark. Harvest, good for you. Now, enough about this, aren't we here to save this place?" She says. Twilight and Shining nod in agreement. Shining continues forward.
"Come on, we need to get to the palace." He says, and we follow. Heading towards the palace, Rarity spends her time looking at all the buildings, commenting on how they look. I ignore it, and we eventually reach the palace. Heading in, we make for the throne room.
Inside, Cadance is sitting on the throne, and she looks tired. Her eyes are drooping, and she has bags, her cheeks seem a little sunk in, and she looks ready to collapse. Twilight sees her, and runs towards her.
"Cadance!" She says excitedly. Cadance looks at her, and rushes towards Twilight. They meet in the middle, and proceed to do a little greeting dance.
Afterwards though, her magic flickers, and the giant shield dome outside does too. Cadance quickly concentrates, and the shield stabilizes. Looking at Twilight, she says.
"We need to meet when the fate of Equestria isn't in trouble." She says with a tired grin. Twilight is shocked.
"Are you okay?" I almost answered her with, Do I look okay? But that was for Cadance to say. Shining Armor comes over to Cadance, and places his hoof on her side.
"Ever since the crystal empire came back, Sombra has been trying to get in. Cadance has been protecting it this whole time by pouring her love and happiness into the barrier around the empire. But she hasn't eaten in a long time, and she hasn't slept in just as long. She can't hold out much longer. That's why we need you to find out if there is some other way for the empire to be protected. Something to keep the empire safe." Twilight nods.
"You can count on us. We will start by asking around to see if anypony knows anything. And if that ends up failing, there should be a library around that has some information we can use. We'll be back with a solution as soon as we can." She turns to the girls, and points out. We move.
But as the other girls move off to question ponies, I move off on my own to head to the library. I was told the ponies would know nothing by my queen, so I decided the library is the next place to look for the information.
Reaching it, I move to grab one of the pamphlets on a desk near the front. Opening it, I find it is a small guide for the library, telling generally what section is where in the library, and giving recommendations for different books in various genres. It was nice, but I just needed the map. Looking through it, I found that the history section was nearby, and started for it.
Reaching the history section, I started to look for a book on the history of the crystal empire. Eventually, I found it.
History of the Crystal Empire.
I sit down to read, and start. A few minutes later, I hear the library doors open, and hooves on the crystal floor of the entryway. I just resume reading.
The book says about a crystal fair, to help the empire, by rejuvenating it with love and joy, that was fed into the crystal heart, so it may protect the empire. The heart itself was a powerful artifact, that was made by the first princess of the empire, and so was the fair. When Sombra rose to power, he kidnapped the princess, and hid her and the heart.
So where where they? I heard a loud groan of frustration nearby, and investigated.
Twilight was floating book after book in front of her, and the other girls were looking through the library as well. I come over.
"What are you looking for? I can help." Twilight and the others were startled by me, but relaxed after seeing me. Twilight then says.
"Where looking for a history book on the empire. It might give us some clues on how to help protect the empire." I nod, and toss her the book. Then I say.
"I'm off. I want to see if I can find something." I wanted to find the lost princess.
Heading out the library, I move towards the castle. If Sombra was smart, he would hide her close to him. So that means in the castle, as he most likely wouldn't leave it. But where in the castle is the problem. He would only spend his time in certain rooms, and those rooms are unknown to me. I stop.
But those rooms aren't unknown to him. If I could get the information out of him were the princess is, that would help out my search. So, I head towards the edge of town.
Reaching the bubble over the Empire, I step out. It doesn't take long before he materializes.
"Sombra, I have some questions. I want to get to know you. So, If you don't mind, tell me about yourself." I say. The face in the smoke is surprised, but he relents.
"I suppose telling my story before killing you isn't too bad. It gives me something to do while I wait for that princess to fall and the dome to come down. And once it does, the empire will be mine again.
"My story begins when I woke up, surrounded by Wendigos. I cant even remember the time before that day. I awoke, Wendigos around, and felt powerful. I could hear the Wendigos, whispering, calling me king. After that, I decided to become king. They told me they would help me, and the voices did too.
So, I did as told, and marched with my new Wendigo army, and took over the crystal empire. The crystal heart could not stop me, and I took it, and hid it. The princess, tried to stop me, but I turned her to stone, and hid her in the city." And I left.
I had heard enough.
"Thanks for the story, but your too boring. My story is ten times better, and has more plot, than your fat plot." I say, and dash into the shield of the empire.
She was hidden in the city, as a statue. She would be obvious, because its easier to hide when in plain sight. I walked to the nearest crystal pony, and ask.
"Do you know of any pony statues around the city?" The stallion nods, and replies in a depressed tone.
"Yeah. On the other side of the city is a large statue, with about seven alicorns on it, all of them looking like Sombra. He made them from black crystal." The stallion shudders. "I'm sorry, I really don't like remembering when he was in power." I nod.
"That's fine. That's more information than I thought I'd get. Have a good rest of your day." And I move off.
Heading towards the opposite side of town, I finally come across the square that has a giant statue of seven Sombra in it. All of them are shaped like alicorns, and are in a large single statue together.
I walk up to the massive statue. Walking around the statue, I see a placard on it. Looking closer, I read it.
To destroy the heart, magic must be sacrificed.
Underneath the placard was a hole. I looked at it, then used my magic through my hand to help examine the hole. Feeling it out, I found it was roughly the size and shape of a unicorns horn. Other than that, nothing was special about it.
I then took some time to think. While I did so, I saw the barrier around the Empire flicker and go down for a minute, and I stood ready to fight. But shortly after, the barrier went up again, and I calmed down.
I finally thought of something. Looking around, I looked at the crystal ponies.i noticed that only one unicorn was present. The rest were Pegasi or Earth ponies. The hole was shaped for a unicorn horn. They had to stick their horn into it.
I got on my knees, now being taller than most ponies, and the hole was low. I then took a breath, before I inserted my horn into the hole. The black crystal shit on it just absorbed into the statues crystal, and I finally reach the end of the hole, only a small portion of my horn sticking out. I activated my magic, and started to pour raw magic into the statue.
And then I felt my horn get smashed, and broke off.
One moment my horn was there, and the next second, I felt excrutiating pain from my head, and blood poured out of my wound onto the ground and statue, eating away at both. I started to scream in pain, as my blood started to run down my face and onto my hands were I was trying to grab my horn.
From what I could feel, my horn was now a jagged stump. After a moment, my body couldn't take any more pain, and I blacked out.
I woke up moments later, as I saw a crowd had gathered around me. My eyes were blurry, and my head throbbed. Everything slowly came into focus, and so saw Twilight and Fluttershy standing next to me. I looked at them.
"What happened?" I croaked out, as my voice was shot from me screaming in pain. I hadn't even noticed it had gone out. Twilight looks at me startled.
"Nightshade, are you feeling alright? How many fingers am I holding up?" And she holds up three.
"Potato, now what happened?" And she sighs.
"You need to stay calm. If you freak out, then you might send out a magic surge, and hurt all of us in the immediate vicinity. But for your information, your horn has been broken off just under the second spiral. You passed out from the pain, and everypony in the empire heard it. What I want to know is why?" I think for a second, before looking at where the statue was. But what I see stuns me.
It looks almost like my blood got to the rest of the statue, as it was all melting away. As it did, in the center of the statue was an alicorn mare with ice blue fur, a pink mane, and a blue heart with a regal crown on it as a cutie mark. She looked to be passed out as the statue finished to melt. I tried to stand, only to fall. So, I crawled, much like my brothers and sisters do.
Reaching the alicorn mare, I checked her pulse, and found she was alive. I then call out.
"Take the Princess to the hospital, she's been out for a thousand years, and Sombra might have tortured her." Twilight was confused, before I groaned at everyponies inaction, and screeched out for Jun to come help me. He arrived,and I was able to place the mare on his back, before we started to walk to the nearest hospital he had found.
Heading in, all the ponies looked at us, but I just moved past them and to one of the rooms. Moving in, I put my guard first aid training to use looking her over as best I could, I only saw bruising around her face and her wings had been plucked
She had a few cuts, and one of her hooves looked to be slightly melted, whether from my blood or something else, I didnt know. After checking her over and making sure her hoof was wrapped and clean, I layed in a bed of my own. I had Jun resume hiding, and watch over us, before I passed out.
I woke to the sound of screaming, and felt much better, and my horn felt better as well. I shook my self awake, and moved over to the window. Looking out, I saw that ponies were yelling and screaming, and running towards the center of town. Leaning out, I looked down the road, and saw that the barrier was down, and Sombra was walking down the street, sword in his magic, laughing as he slaughtered ponies he walked by. Growling, I checked my gear, before putting on my helmet, and jumping out the window.
Landing in the street, I pushed my way through the throng of ponies panicking, towards the black king. He didn't notice me coming, and I pulled my spear off my back, and swung it at his face, smacking him into a wall. He looks stunned, before he looks to me. Just as I throw my spear at his head. He dodges as it goes right next to his face. Looking shocked, he turns to the spear, before growling. He wraps the spear in his magic aura, and proceeds to try and pull it out. However, it doesnt budge. I start towards him.
He struggles to pull the spear out, but it doesnt budge. As I get close, he moves away, and I grab the spear, before pushing the button that retracts the spikes that make it latch into whatever I hit. Pulling it out the wall, I turn towards Sombra, and get ready to fight. He charges at me, and I grab him as he comes close. I lift him up, and then slam him into the ground head first. He grunts in pain, before bucking me in the face, and I let him go as my head snaps back. The helmet mask took the blow, and wasnt even scratched by his blow.
Sombra grabbed his discarded sword with his magic, and sent it at me point first. I deflected it with my spear and throw it at him, before charging. As Sombra dodges the spear, I grab his left forehoof, and throw him into a wall. Though, before he hits it, he turns to smoke, and just stops himself. He then starts to laugh.
"You think you can beat me? You are nothing more than an annoyance. I will kill you, and sip your blood as if it was a fine wine." I smile.
"Why wait? You want some blood, then have some." And I take one of my hidden blades, and stab my hand. Blood starts to pour out the wound, and I fling it at Sombra. When it hits him, it starts to melt his fur and flesh, his muzzle having been the most coated. He starts to yell in pain.
"What did you do? What is this?" He asks angrily. I laugh.
"You wanted my blood, so I gave you some." He growls, and then he sends his sword at me. I just stand, and it hits into my stomach, sinking in almost half way. I grunt in pain, before smiling, and grabbing the handle. The sword just falls into my hand, and I toss it back towards Sombra.
The blade has been almost fully eaten by my blood, and is almost gone down to the hilt. He looks at it, and then at me.
"What are you? I know every creature on this continent, but I have never seen or read of anything like you? What kind of abomination are you?" I snarl at him, and he visibly flinches.
"You don't need to know." I then raise my head, and screech. He just stares at me, and he looks scared. After nothing happens, and neither of us do anything, he looks at me cunfused, before smirking, and laughing.
"What good did that do? Your still alone, and about to die." He then made some black crystal spikes, and made one into a sword, before shooting the rest at me. I just used my cane to deflect the crystals, and he ran out after a moment.
"Why don't you just die?!" He yells. Before he turns to smoke, and flies up.
"Fine, I just have to use my natural element, and kill you with it." And as his horn glows, the sun is blocked out, and the world looks to become pitch black. He laughs.
"Lets see how you long you last in the dark." I just smile, and stand there. Sombra suddenly appears, and cuts at me. But I'm not there. An afterimage just fades away like smoke. Now he starts to look around, trying to find me. I laugh, maniacally, and with great pleasure.
"The dark. You think the dark is your friend. You merely were adopted by it."I move around Sombra, as he starts to freak. He cant see me, in his own magic darkness.
"I was born in it. I was molded by it, shaped, and loved, by the darkness. My Queen, my mother, my brothers, sisters, and I were born in darkness." I silently move closer to him, my hiss starting to sound from all around Sombra, as he started to panic. The darkness around him was thicker, darker, less friendly to him. He couldnt see, and he was scared.
I moved forward, towards him. The darkness to me was like a normal day. I could see Jun, Jared, and the other Xenomorph guards, all of us circling Sombra like sharks. All of us hissing. We could smell Sombra, and he practically glowed in my eyes as I could see his fear radiating off him.
"The darkness was never your friend, Sombra. It mearly tolerated you. And my Queen, is darkness incarnate. My brothers are too." Sombra, in a fit of panic, casts a spell to light up the area.
It only illuminates a small area, and from there, he can see them. The xenomorphs, circling him. He screams in fear, but being surrounded, he cant run. I move forward, into the light, and he sees me. I move through the ring my brothers made, and stride towards the terrified king.
"My Queen gave me orders. She told me what to do with you. Do you know what she said to do?"I say, rhetorically, but he still shook his head. I grab his horn, and force him to look at me. I lean in, and get close.
"She said, have a nice meal." And I hiss, as I open my mouth. My inner mouth can be seen by Sombra then, and he screams, before it shoots out, and breaks through his skull into his brain, killing him. After that, I start to feast, and my brothers join me.
We feast on his body, and finish it. He was a bit stringy, I'm not gonna lie. But my hunger was satisfied.
Suddenly, I heard noise, and looking around, I could see light returning, as suddenly, the world started to get extremely bright. Me and my brothers screeched as the light was blinding, and we all moved to shadows, as a wave started in the center of the empire, and spread out. It went over everything, and everything it touched had more sparkle and shine. When the wave passed over us, we all screeched in pain, as our chitin became much harder to move. I told my brothers to stay hidden, and went out onto the main street. Looking atound, I saw everypony at the castle.
They all had a crystalline coat of fur, and their manes looked to be crystal as well. I look at myself, and see I now look as if I am made of Lapis Lazuli and Emerald. Fur and mane respectively. Heading through the throng of happy crystal ponies, I remember my Queen telling me about this. This must be the crystal hearts doing.
Reaching the center of the plaza, I see Cadence and Spike, standing beside a floating heart. I look around, and see 5 of the mane 6. I walk over to them.
"Girls, what happened? I can barely move now that I'm partially made of crystal." The girls look at me, and they answer.
"Well, Cadence eventually lost her battle to stay awake, and the dome came down. Sombra came in, and started to cut ponies down, and everybody ran. But, for the last twenty minutes, noponies seen him. Twilight eventually figured out where the crystal heart might be, and found it. Though, apparently she gave it to Spike since she didnt know when Sombra might appear, and she was trapped. So Spike jumped from the tower, and Cadence needed some assistance to get off the ground since she was so tired, so Shining tossed her, she grabbed Spike, and they brought the crystal heart here. Then, the crystal ponies poured their love and joy into the heart, and the shockwave you saw that changed us like this came out and swept over everything. And then, a few moments later, you show up. By the way, where were you?"Applejack says.
"Oh, I was dealing with Sombra for the last twenty minutes, after my horn got broken off. After he tried to blind me by making it dark, I killed him. Me and my brothers then had a nice meal, and then the shockwave happened. Now they are almost incapacitated by the fact that they are all made of Onyx." They just look at me. I then remember.
"Wait, I forgot, the princess, Mi Amore, is still in the hospital. We should go see her." They all nod in agreement, and we head off. Cadence and Spike join us shortly. They ask me where I had been, and I tell them. Only Spike seemed to get what I meant though when I had said we had eaten. We eventually reached the hospital, and I saw that Mi Amore was awake, and being taken care of by doctors. After they finished checking on her, they left, and we entered. When we did, she saw us.
"Who are all of you? And what's going on?" Cadence stepped forward.
"I am Princess Mi Amore Cadenza, but please, call me Cadence. You've been locked in a statue for a long time. What was the last thing you remember?" She asks. Mi Amore thinks for a moment.
"The last thing I remember was Sombra attacking our castle, and the Wendigos rounding up the civilians, before I heard a laugh, and then, I woke up here. What happened?" Cadence sighs.
"I hate to say this, but Sombra captured you. He trapped you in a statue, and Nightshade here was able to free you. Her horn was broken in the process though. After the statue was destroyed, she got you here, and treated you as best she could, before she finally had to stop. Though, she later went out and killed Sombra. We have returned the crystal heart, and then came to see you." Mi Amore nods, and then asks.
"Thank you for saving my kingdom. I'm glad someone was able to save it so quickly." Cadence winces at that.
"Princess Mi Amore, I'm sorry to tell you this, but the Crystal Emire has been gone from Equestria for the past thousand years or so. Only recently has it reappeared. It's been a thousand years since the world has last saw you. In fact, I dont think anypony knew that you were still alive in any way. I was appointed by Princess Celestia to come and rule the Empire. Nopony knew you were alive." Cadence finishes. Mi Amore is shocked.
"So, my advisors, my subjects, died a thousand years ago?" Cadence shakes her head.
"No. When Celestia and Luna fought Sombra, they were able to banish him. But when they did, he placed a curse on the empire, making it vanish in time with him. So, your advisors and subjects, are still alive." Mi Amore gets excited for a second, before deflating.
"But, I failed them. I can not look at them, and call myself their princess when I failed to protect them." She hangs her head. I sigh and step forward.
"If I let me being disowned by my family, thrown out onto the streets when I was a filly, and everything that was thrown at me stop me from living, you can take a guess where I would be. If you let one mistake, that wasnt your fault, force you to stop looking your people in the eye, then they never trusted you to rule them in the begining. You will go out there, tell them what happened, and they will forgive you. For now though, get better. Then, you can leave. Cadence, I recommend you being the new ruler. The empire need somepony new to rule them in this day and age. Somepony who knows about it well. I need to get a message to my Queen, and a hive will be started here. Chrysalis can take it over." Everypony didnt listen to me unles I called their name to speak to them directly. The only one who was looking at me was Mi Amore. Everypony started to leave, and soon we were the only two left.
"What are you? I remember the tribes before, but you look different from them." I nod.
"My Queen changed me. I am part Pony, part Human, and part Xenomorph. I used to be a unicorn guard for the princesses, but when we went to the crystal caverns to talk to my Queen for the first time, they played a game. Hunt. They picked off our group one by one until only I was left, and then they grabbed me. After they took me to the Queen's chamber, I got angry, and didn't stop trying to resist and trying to escape. Eventually, her personal guard got angry, and came over to get me to stop, but I threw a fireball, and after seeing my Queen's children covering the wall, I stopped, because I didnt want to die. After the princesses finally found us, the Queen asked them to give me to her, to be her emmisary. The princesses asked me if I wanted to accept, and I did. That night, I was changed to this. That was a week ago." She is astonished by my story. She nods eventually, and then says.
"You said that a Chrysalis would be making a hive here in the empire. What do you mean?"
"Chrysalis is the changling queen, who was impregnated by a royal facehugger. She died, and a new Xenomorph queen was born from her. Chrysalis is just the name we gave the new xeno queen. She will still be under the control of my Queen though, and she won't be allowed to kill the ponies of the empire." Mi Amore is shocked by what I say, but I dont give her time to talk, and say goodbye, and exit the room. I need to go take a nap.
We eventually left the empire. I was glad, as I didnt like the place. It didn't have enough places to hide, and it wasnt dark enough. My brothers agreed, and we where glad to be heading home.
When we arrive, I am to head to the caverns and report what happened to my Queen. It wouldn't take long, and then I was to come back to the palace, and introduce myself to the nobility.
We finally reach Canterlot, and me and Jun make our way to the castle with the girls. I am stopped by the guards at the gate.
"Halt creature. Your not allowed in here. If you do not leave, we will be forced to detain you." Said one guard. The others see what is happening, and I wave them on. They need to talk to the princess. I sigh.
"I am an Emmisary. Let me through." The guard who spoke scoffs.
"I've never heard of any creature like you. And I got no letter of an arriving emmisary. So either you leave, or you go to the dungeon." I sigh.
"Let me through, or my Queen will have some new children." I say, giving them one more chance to not get hurt. The guard captain laughs.
"Was that a threat. Well, since you threatened us, now we have to throw you in the dungeon. Guards, detain her. Then we'll drag her to the princess to answer for her crime." I shrug.
"Fine, come at me." I would have to use violance. I decide to use my hidden blades in my gauntlets. Flicking my wrists to my sides, the two small blades fling out from under my hands. As the first guardsmare attacks me, I grab her spear, and slice it's head off, before using the spear head to knock her on the head.
Another guard uses a special blade made for unicorns, that's just a blade. It's just a piece of metal that is enveloped in the unicorns magic, and launched into the target at high speeds. It then repeats the process, until the enemy is either dead, or to tired to continue fighting. I deflect the blade, and send it at another guard. It is stopped before hitting him, but it's close.
I grab the sword of one guard that is attacking, wrench it from his grip, and slap him in the head with the flat. As I do that, my tail whips around, smacking another guard trying to reach from behind. My tail then curls around a spear thrust towards me, and snaps it with no effort. The spear is discarded, and I tail whip the pony. I use my hidden blades to block blows from swords and spears, dodging and knocking the guards unconcious.
I remember training in the guards. We were taught to be better fighters than this. We were also told not to be assholes to other species though too. And to treat ambassadors as if they were the princesses.
"You all are better than this. Blue Heart, you know to thrust with the spear, not try and swipe. Swift Strike, when you pull the blade back towards you, you try and hit me. Heavy Shield, you need to defend your team, not just yourself. Block my attacks." As I say these things, the guards slowly stop fighting me. They back away.
"How do you know our names?" Swift Strike asks me. I shrug.
"Is that any way to speak to a former lieutenant? Now let me through. My Queen grows impatient." The guards snap to attention at the word lieutenant, and I walk into the castle. I need to go see the princesses about that sergeant. His xenophobia will cause a war if he does something like that again.
Heading into the castle, I head to the caverns. When the guards at the door see me, they open the door. Heading in, I breath deeply at the scent of my new home. As the doors close behind me, I can feel myself almost change, I feel more alive in the darkness.
I screech at the top of my lungs, calling out dominance over the darkness, my cry echoing of the crystals and walls. I then take of, crawling like my brothers and sisters, Jun beside me, racing me to the queens chamber.
It feels good to be home.

Oh, also, from here on, this story will be from Harvests points of view.
I've reported to my queen. She gave me nuzzles. They felt so good. It lets me know I am loved. It feels good, and I can feel the emotions from my Queen through her telepathy. The feeling of her love, and her pride in what I did in the empire, felt like a parent giving a hug because you won second place in a science fair, but they dont care, they love you so much and they will let you know it.
It felt so good, I could have stayed there for hours basking in her love. But I had work to do, and I needed to talk to the princesses about the guard captain. Leaving the Queens chamber, I run through the caverns again, back to the doors to the castle. I have changed my clothes to something less intimidating, but it would still intimidate if needed.
It was a set of light armor, with the only plate armor being on my arms. It had multiple straps that wound around my body, and a leather chest piece that held my breasts. I also had my sword still.
I exited the caverns, and the guards standing by the doors look at me. Two immediately break off from the formation of six, and follow me silently as I walk through the castle to the princesses.
Reaching the throne room, I see that there is a long line of nobles though. And more nobles milling about besides.
Deciding to forgo the wait, I turn to my two followers.
"Thank you. I can go from here." The two guards nod, and turn back down the hall we came. I turn to the closest wall, and look for one of the heating and cooling vents that are scattered throughout the castle. Finding it, I jump on the wall silently, and crawl over and into it.
Crawling through the vent is easy, and the closed space so close to me is something that doesnt even cross my mind.
I make my way through, and take a turn, as I look behind me and see Jun following me. I continue on for a few more feet, and come to a square piece of metal covering a hole. Its another vent. I look through it, and see the throne room. So, I lift the piece of metal, and crawl through, Jun following, and scampering to deeper shadows.
I crawl along the ceiling, looking at the proceedings. I can see a pony talking to Celestia, who looks regal, but her eyes said that she would rather be anywhere but on her throne at the moment. I looked around the room, at the guards, and smelled that one of them smelt like Luna. I was curious.
I crawled down the wall behind the guardsmare, a beautiful Pegasus mare with light blue fur, and dark blue mane. I pick her up with my tail, while bringing her to me. I shushed her quickly, and gave a quick sniff.
She smelt of sex. I grin, and put my finger to my lips. She nods, and I put her back down. She gets back in her position, and I crawl to the center of the room, over the pontificating noble in front of Celestia.
But I know this noble.
Gold Bit. My father. I hiss, letting the sound fill the air of the throne room. My brothers and sisters join me, and our hissing fills the room quickly. Celestia does a good job of not looking disturbed by our intimidation, and I get no scent of fear from her, but I do get relief.
The guards look around the room, trying to find the source of the sound. I slowly come down behind the princess's throne, and crawl over the back of it, slightly wrapping my tail around Celestia. When the guards see me, they freak. My father does too, and cries out.
"What is that Abomination! Guards, kill it, before it does something to the princess!" He says. I just smile.
Before laughing. Celestia just sighs, before slightly smirking.
"Nightshade, you know better than that. You know your supposed to make your entrance known." I am now giggling, at the guards and my father's reaction to Celestia scolding me.
"Yes, Mother." I say, pouring sarcasm into the word in good nature. Celestia shakes her head.
"Nightshade, what has the Queen sent you here for? Is something wrong?" I shake my head.
"Nothing I can say in front of the nobles." She nods.
"Gold Bit, please leave us. I must talk with the Queens emmisary about private matters." Gold gets indignant.
"What is this Queen you speak of? And how do you know this abomination?" I hiss, and my tail flicks in irritation, swaying around behind me. I have half a mind to pull my axe out, and cut his head off. Celestia puts her hoof out to stop me.
"Nightshade, no. Gold Bit, the Queen is underneath Canterlot. She is the Queen of the Xenomorphs. This is her emmisary, as given to her by myself and Luna. She had her changed into what you see, so that she may speak for the Queen as her voice to us. Mistreat her, and the Queen will destroy us. Do I make myself clear?" My father looks scared at me. I hiss, and pull back my lips to show my teeth, purely carnivorous and sharp as diamonds.
Gold Bit backs up a bit, fear dripping off him visibly and I can smell it too.
"Are you sure it shouldn't be killed? It looks as though the creature wants to kill me." I snort.
"Because I do." Celestia stomps her hoof.
"ENOUGH!" she yells, making us all stop.
"Gold Bit, before you start a slaughter of our people, I will tell you to leave. Do so now, and you will not be imprisoned for almost starting a war. Nightshade, never do that again, and I will not have you barred from the castle. I understand that you know the policies that we have regarding ambassadors, but you also know that I do not make that threat lightly." Gold Bit gulps, and nods, before turning and running out the throne room. I nod to Celestia.
"I am sorry, princess. It will not happen again." I say. I will not allow for any other creature to be mothers voice. I stop.
I called her mother. Again, I called her mother when fighting Sombra. Well, thats fine. She is my mother. She is more of a mother than the pony that birthed me to begin with. She gave me a new life, and purpose. I will not fail my mother. I think to myself.
"Now, what have you come for, Nightshade? You wouldnt be here without reason, I assume." Celestia says. I nod.
"Yes. I came to tell you about what I did in the empire, and to ask you to update your guards on who the newest ambassador is. The guards at the gate earlier today, tried to detain me the sergeant on duty, told the others in his squad to attack, and disnt listen. He was also blatantly specieist towards me. It wasnt good, and I know the guards are trained better than that. I helped to train them." The guards present in the room, are looking at me now with a new light. They look to be trying to figure out who I am, or rather, who I used to be. I just flick my tail at them.
"Look at them, they dont even realize they could die in five seconds from Jun, walking up behind them." To which Jun was actually behind them.
They all spun around, and aimed their spears at Jun. He screeches at them, and jumps onto the wall, scrambling up to the ceiling, into one of the shadows. A Pegasus goes up to check the area, sweeping through it with his spear, but he can't find anything. I just shake my head, and look back to Celestia.
Celestia sighs as she looks at me.
"I will have somepony check who the sergeant at the gate is, and talk to him personally. Then, I will have a meeting with the captain's, and have them tell their troops who you are, and give them a revised list of ambassadors. And finally, thank you for interrupting, oh dear mother of me, that was the most boring thing to have to go through." As she finishes her talk, she slumps down into her throne, deflating. Her regal look turns to that of a tired mother who's done with everything today. Understood, and walk to her.
I then reach down, and start to scratch behind her ears. My Queen has told me to try that, and see what happens. I do as she told me, rub gently, almost like a massage, but with my "fingernails" in the mix. As long as I dont try to claw her head, it should apparently be pleasurable to her, along the lines of a massage.
It was also, apparently, working. Mother was right. Celestia started to moan in relief as I "scritched", as mother put it, behind her ears.
"Oh, Nightshade, keep your paw, hoof, whatever, there, and keep doing that. It feels good." She mutters. I giggle. She looks to be melting.
"Its a hand. And the things doing the deed are fingers." She just grunts, and I giggle again. Sweet Celestia this is funny. I pull back, and she moves with my hand. Its so funny. I soon just stop.
"Noooo, I want some more!" She says lazily. I giggle some more. It was adorable.
"Celestia, no. No more scritches for you. Besides, your a princess. You need to keep decorum. Also, we need to bring the nobles back in and finish with them. I'll be heading to the training grounds. I want to check on the guards training." Celestia laughs.
"Still the diligent lieutenant I see. Even if you've been moved to a new position, you always help the guards get better." I shrug.
"What can I say, I like beating the guards." And I head off. I can sense Jun following me. As I make my way through the halls, I see maids and butler's jump out of my way. They look scared.
I sigh, and think about the guards are that smelt of Luna and sex. Specifically, Luna's fluids. As one of her guards, during heat season, it wasn't uncommon for me to smell either of the princesses fluids. And having heightened senses, including smell, I can smell them out of heat too. So smelling that mare and Luna's scent on her was interesting. I just smile, Luna finally got herself a playmate.
I finally reach the training ground, and as soon as I enter, everypony there stops moving, and looks at me. The only one who doesn't look at me with fear and disgust, which is the more prevalent of the two, considering most of the guard is playboys playing dressup, is the captain of the guard.
Lightning Bolt is a strong stallion, a pegasus, with a lightning bolt striking the ground as his cutie mark. He has yellow fur, and gold mane. One of the reasons he is captain is that Shining appointed him, he's a smart tactician who doesn't take shit from anypony, and he can control lightning. He can shoot it from his wings. He is the only other pony I know who still know who I am.
"Ambassador Nightshade, to what do we owe the pleasure?" I look at him.
"You know why Lightning. I want to practice. I can't afford to get careless and rusty. Especially now. So, I came to do some training." He is smirking, knowing what I am going to do.as he gets a little closer to me, he says lightly.
"Really Harvest? Is that all?" He says. I roll my eyes, smiling.
"Maybe I just want to beat some guards up too. That's just a bonus." He chuckles, and turns to all the recruits on the field.
"Alright you fucks, get in formation or I'll slap you so fucking hard it'll feel like you kissed a train!" He yells, and all the trainees scramble to make formation. They take a minute. Too slow. I speak up.
"That was way to slow. You took a minute to get in formation. It should take thirty seconds or less. I am disappointed that this is what I come back to." Lightning is just smiling.
"You heard her. So, what should be their punishment for taking so long?" I smile. I have a great idea.
"How about a group battle simulation. Me, against all of them. If I win, I get to train them for one week. If they win, they get a week off, and better food than the current rations. The goal is to incapacitate me. My goal, is to capture all of them." Lightning actually is shocked at that. So are the recruits.
I was just smiling. This would be fun.
"Nightshade, you sure about this? Fifty guards against just you." I look at him, shocked.
"Fifty guards! Damn, thats worse than I thought." I say, putting my hand to my chin. Lightning nods.
"Yeah, are you sure you want to do this?" I look back to him.
"Oh, no, I'm fine. I was just thinking it was worse for them. They dont have near enough to catch me. We start in thirty seconds. That gives me plenty of time to hide. Anypony I capture, I will bring back here. They are not allowed to rejoin trying to catch me." I then turn, and run to the nearest wall, before leaping, and grabbong on. I then crawl into the shadows, and say.
"START!" Immediately, the guards come after me. They head straight towards the shadow I just crawled into.
Only thing is, I'm not there. I'm on the other side of the room. I leap down from the wall, and walk out the door, calling over my shoulder as I go.
"By the way, this is only limited to the castle. I will not leave the castle grounds, in any way, shape or form." They all look, and see me walk out the door.
I only have a few seconds before they all swarm out the door, so I crawl to the nearest vent, and inside. Seconds later, the door opens and a flood of recruits comes out, trying to find me. Lots of them pass by me, but a few are smart, and realize I couldnt have gotten to far in the amount of time it took them to exit the training area.
I smile, as I am already having fun. A few of the stragglers pass by my vent, near the floor, and when the last pony is heading by, I jump out the vent, grab them, knock them out, and drag them back into the vent. I then take them back to the training room, and drop them off at Lightnings hooves.
He just looks at me, and sighs.
"Harvest, your never going to make things easy for me are you?" I giggle.
"Nope. But you know this is good training. If they dont capture me by the end of the day, I win. Agreed?" He nods.
"Agreed." I smile, and head off. I got some hunting to do.
I have gotten thirty. They are becoming aware of my tactics, hiding in the vents and attacking as they go past. I have started to ambush them from the ceiling vents too.
It's been fun. I only have about twenty more to go. I was preparing to ambush a lone guard, who had wandered into the throne room. She was talking to Celestia.
"Your Highness, have you seen the Ambassador Nightshade recently?" Celestia looks confused.
"She was here earlier, but I haven't seen her since she went to the training grounds. Why?" The guard recruit looks conflicted, but answers.
"She gave the recruits a challenge. We have until the end of the day to capture her. If we do, we get a week off, and better rations. If she captures all fifty of the recruits, she trains us for a week, and we have to do what she says." Celestia eyes widen, before she smirks.
"Yes, that seems like something she would do. Nightshade, please come down from the ceiling. It's rude to let this guard be captured without her seeing you." I smile. She knew I was here. I dropped from the ceiling, right in front of the guardsmare. I stand up, looking at the guard recruit.
"I like you. May I have her, Celestia? My queen might like her too." Celestia looks confused, but nods.
"Nightshade, you are allowed to have her. However, I would like to be present, if your queen decides to change her to look like you." I think on that for a moment, before shrugging.
"I will let my queen know." And turn back to the guard.
"What is your name?" I ask her. She looks scared, mostly from what we were talking about.
"Quick Shot, ma'am." I nod.
"So I am guessing you are good with a crossbow? How good?" She puffs up.
"Best of the new recruits, and broken one record for quickest reload and fire. 30 seconds." I nod again.
"You'll be getting a bow. My Queen will be able to give me the design when you are changed, as well as your armor." And she is confused.
"What do you mean by changed?" She says.
"I was not always like this. I was once a pony like you, till roughly two weeks ago." She is in awe, but then asks quietly.
"Does the process hurt?" I look at her, and lean down to whisper in her ear.
"Yes. It hurt a lot. But the end result is worth the pain." She looks scared again. I just sigh, and pet her.
"Celestia, can you end the match between me and the recruits? It would be best if you do it, otherwise they will think I'm quitting, and that I am weak. And I am not weak." She nods.
"Of course, Harvest. Guard, get captain Lightning in here. And have the other guards on duty roundup the remaining recruits." The guard nearest her salutes her, and then runs off. Moments later, Lightning walks in.
"Your Highness, is something wrong?" Celestia shakes her head.
"No, just a change in gameplay. Call the recruits back. The game is over. Also, Quick Shot is no longer under your service. She will be going with Nightshade, to be trained as another ambassador." Lightning nods, and turns to Quick Shot.
"Good luck recruit. You'll probably need it." Quick Shot nods, and salutes. Lightning salutes back, and then leaves. I look at Quick Shot.
"Follow me. Princess, I bid you good night." And leave. Quick Shot follows me.
I make my way to the caverns. Reaching them, the guards open the doors, and we head in. As we enter, I let out a screechh. It n it, I tell my Queen everything. I then turn to Quick Shot, as the doors close.
"I am going to pick you up, and we will be moving through darkness the likes you have never seen. Do not scream, as I will have a good grip on you." And the doors close. I still see her, and she is starting to panic.
"Its really dark. Are you still there?"
"Yes. I am going to pick you up. The next thing you feel, will be my tail. Don't scream." And I slide my tail around her barrel, and lift. Luckily, since she is an earth pony, she doesn't have any wings that I need to worry about.
She cries out lightly as I lift her, and then I take off through the caverns. Dodging crystals and jumpingnledges, she whimpers behind me, but doesn't scream once.
"You are doing good. We are almost there." I say. And we soon do arrive.
Entering my Queens chamber, I set the mare down. I then look to my Queen. But, she doesn't look happy.
"My Queen?" I say. And then I am struck from the side by the praetorian, Geralt.
"I never said you could bring another. I never said, I would make another like you." I am slammed into the ground by the praetors tail, and cry out in pain.
"Mother, I'm sorry." I say, crying. I have made mother angry. She's going to beat me. It's just like before.
I curl into a ball, and start to cry, as the praetor hits me again, and sends me flying across the room. I slam into a wall, and I curl up into the wall, and start crying harder.
"No, mommy ,I'm sorry, please I'm sorry I'm sorry, I'm sorry.". And I just keep saying that line over and over. The praetor had stopped, at Mothers order, but I barely heard it over my PTSD from my childhood, being beat by mother for thinking differently, before I was denounced by my family.
I felt something curl around me, and mothers mind connected with mine once more, as she nuzzled me.
I am sorry, my little one. You dont need to worry anymore. I am sorry, for hurting you. She says. I just hug into her.
"I'm sorry mother. Please forgive me." She just nuzzles me, and motherly warmth radiates from her. I slowly start to calm down, and stop crying. After a half hour, I'm fine again. My Queen stands up.
"My Queen, as I have said, I brought her to help. Two voices are better than one. Also, she could be our voice from Chrysalis." My Queen thinks for a moment.
Can you still make light, with your broken horn? I shake my head. She hisses her annoyance. Quick Shot, for her part, has stayed quiet throughout the last while. She finally speaks.
"I can see a little bit, if that helps, your majesty." The Queen tilts her head. She then looks back at me.
She will be of good use. As you said, we can have her speak for Chrysalis group. She will also be able to help with being an ambassador here. We will need to get her a weapon, and some clothing. Also, about Celestia. She will be allowed to watch, but she must be silent, and not interfere in any way. And Luna may come along, as well as Twilight. But only them. Any others that try, are to be denied. Have them here before midnight tonight. I will be here with Quick Shot. I nod to my Queen.
"Yes, my Queen." She hisses.
As you have called me before, Mother, is fine. Your old mother gave you up. I, have taken you in. You may call me as you wish. I smile.
"Yes, Mother." And I run out the room, making my way back to the doors to the castle. The whole way, I am happy. I have a new mother, officially.
I finally reach the doors, though it really wasnt that long. Knocking, I am let in. Turning to one of the guards, I say.
"If you could please tell the princesses that I wish to talk to them, and have them message Princess Twilight as well, I would appreciate it. Tell them to meet me here." The guard nods, and runs off.
And I sit and wait. I meditate, something mother has told me to do, to help control my mind and hunger. And to just think. It helps to let me think about what might have happened, plan, anything. After a while, about two, maybe three hours, I hear hoofsteps coming towards us.
Opening my eyes, I see Celestia, Luna, and Twilight Sparkle coming towards us, plus the guard I sent to get them. I stand.
"Hello princesses. Thank you for meeting me." They all nod, and Celestia asks the first question.
"Hello, Harvest. Why have you called us here?" I smile.
"Mother has allowed you to watch the transformation. However, I insist that the guards stay behind. I will confirm that they will be killed if they try to follow, as mother has stated that you three, and only you three, are allowed to come." They all are horrified about the killing, but they agree. The doors are opened, and we enter. I screech, and it scares the three princesses.
"Please, warn us before you do that." Twilight says.
"I apologize. I will warn you next time." The doors start to close behind them, and they all ignite their horns. I start to guide them. We make our way through the caverns. Spots where they can't walk, they fly over, while I crawl. It takes us twenty minutes or so to reach the Queens chamber.
"Mother, I have returned with the princesses." My Queen hisses.
Good. We begin once Luna raises the moon, in half an hour. We need to move. Grab Quick Shot, and bring her. Some others will grab the princesses. I do as she says, and grab Quick in my tail. She squeaks, but doesnt do much else. Geralt grabs princess Celestia in his tail, abd Luna and Twilight are grabbed by two other drones.
We then head through the caverns, lead by the Queen. Twenty five minutes or so later, we make it to the hollow in the mountain, where I was transformed last time. The bowl is still there, as is the raised platform I stepped on last time. I set Quick Shot down, and the three princesses are sat down as well. I then take Quicks armor off her, and toss it aside. Mother speaks again.
Luna, if you would raise the moon, we can begin. Luna nods, and then looks to Celestia. Celestia nods, and her horn glows. The sun starts to go down, and Luna lights her horn, and the moon comes up. After both are in place, my Queen speaks again.
Quick Shot, you will drink from the bowl, and then step into the center of the platform. You need to do so quickly. Harvest, help her if needed. I nod. Quick shot gulps.
"Harvest, whats happening?" Twilight asks in a whisper.
"Shhh. You cannot speak during this. Be quiet until the end, and we can talk." I say.
Quick Shot moves towards the bowl of black goo. She looks into it, and then bends forwards, dipping her muzzle into it, and taking a sip. Much like me, she tried to spit it out, but when she inhaled again, it forced its way inside her throat. As she started to violently cough, she staggered towards the platform. Getting on, I saw the same magical diagram as before appear on the floor.
Luna's moon seemed to glow brighter, as did the symbols, and Mother moved forwards, and stepped into an open area of the circle. Before her appeared a plane of light, almost like a book made of moonlight, and the Queen put her claws to it. She then started to mess with the wierd moonlight object, and Quick Shot started to change, and scream.
She grew as tall as me, and grew a tail. Though, this tail was different than mine.
First of all, it grew from the back of her head. Her head then became armored. Her hair turned into a bone like substance, and fused together into the tail, which also became armored. Her legs became armored too, with bone like plates that looked similar to a dragons, and her feet became draconic.
She finally stopped screaming, and Mother came forwards towards her. Beckoning me over too, I follow. We get near her, and she is naked. I can see her breasts and marehood. Mother turns to me.
Get some sort of clothes for her. She says. Luna magics some wrappings for me, and I wrap them around her breasts, and weave them to make a pair of panties. Quick Shot wakes, and she starts to growl. She then jumps on me, and tackles me.
I growl, and grab her face, and toss her. I then scramble up, and jump on her before she gets up. I grab the back of her head, and slam it into the ground multiple times. When she stops struggling, I stop, and shriek out my victory.
Geralt comes over with a cow in his tails grasp, and it was mooing loudly. I helped Quick Shot stand, and move for the cow. When we got close, she heard the cow and looked around for it. Seeing it, she growled.
Then, she pounced on the beast, knocking it to the ground. She then proceeded to tear it's head off. As she ate the cow, I looked to the three princesses, to see Twilight flopped in a pool of vomit. Luna looked to be about to vomit, and Celestia was.
Quick Shot finished the entire cow, and all its bones were piled to the side. When she was done, she was panting, covered in the cows blood. She looked around, mostly confused. Then, she saw me.
"What, happened?" She asks. I answer.
"You were transformed. You then attacked me, and after, I let you eat that cow your sitting in." Her eyes widen. She looks down to the cow, then back to me.
"Why do I not care as much about having killed it? I feel bad that it died, but I don't feel guilty." I nod.
"Meat is our diet. We get it how we can. If it means killing animals, then we do so. Regret is still good though, so we dont do so with reckless abandon. We hunt for food, not for sport." I say, and she just slowly nods. I then help her stand, and she gets to looking at herself. I look to mother.
"Mother, is this all?" Mother hisses.
No. I must present her her weapon. the Queen then moves to the alcove where I got my armor, and leans down near it. She opens her mouth, and her inner jaw shoots forwards, pressing a button hidden in the stone. Confused, me and Quick Shot move towards her. As part of the wall moves away, I can see that behind it is a massive bow, huge, as tall as me and Quick Shot are. Beside it, a spear like object.

This bow will be yours, Quick Shot. It fires those spears, and has an infinity spell put on it, so that you wont have to stop firing. Take it, and try it out. My Queen says. Quick Shot moves forwards, grabbing the blades.
She then looks at it for a moment, before getting into position. She grabs the string, and nocks the spear. Pulling back the bow string, the entire bow flexes from its position sitting on the ground, all the way up past her head. The bow made a creaking sound, so loud it sounded like the bow would break. The spear fir the bow well, and she let go the string.
The arrow flew through the air, and zoomed past the princesses, and hit the wall. It sunk in a full two feet into the wall. She lowered the bow, and says.
"The fly is dead." She then put the bow down, and unstrung it. I just grab my cane and look at it.
You are sisters now. Quick Shot, your name, is no longer useful. You can keep it, or I can give you a new name. She says. I look to Quick, and she seems slightly conflicted. She thinks for a bit, before looking up to our queen.
"My Queen, I will be happy to take a new name." She says. I smile. Mother nods.
Then take this name, Lao Shan Lung, as your own. This name, is taken from the species of Elder Dragon your new body is based off of. However, you will find no records of it, for it does not come from this planet. Take your new name, and use it with pride, my daughter. She then turns to me.
And you, my daughter. Do you wish to recieve a new name as well? I barely have to think. I nod vigorously.
Then take this new name, Protectors Soul, and use it with pride. I am confused by the choice, but I dont care. Mother gave me a new name.
"Thank you, mother." Me and Lao say at the same time. Mother comes over to us, and nuzzles each of us, as we hug her. Finally, we turn back to the princesses, who were all awake now. Mother speaks to them.
Princesses, I am sorry for what you just witnessed. Please, do not be alarmed. What has happened here has only happened twice, and one of those two you just witnessed. If you have any questions, please, ask me. When all is finished, my daughters will escort you back to the gates. The princesses all nod, and Twilight starts to talk.
"What did you mean when you said we wouldnt find anything on the Elder Dragon?"
It is not of this world. Elder dragons come from another world entirely. That world, is inhabited by monsters and creatures more powerful than Sombra, Discord, Nightmare Moon, and Chrysalis combined, at their full power. And they would happily eat them, without a second thought. Twilight gulps, nods, and backs up. Celestia comes forward.
"Why did you change their names? I am not going to shame them or ridicule them for having changed them, I am just curious."
Because they are now new people. They are no longer fundamentally who they once where. Their minds, their bodies, and their personalities have become different. Therefore, a change of name is required. Is it not the same when a pony gets their cutie mark, and it doesnt go well with their first name? Celestia nods. Luna asks her question.
"Why does this ritual need the power of my moon? The sun has more energy." My Queen nods.
But the moon is more spiritual. And also, doesnt it seem better to do rituals in the light of the moon? Its so beautiful.
Luna blushes lightly.
"Thank you for admiring it. I put a lot of time into the nights for our subjects." My queen nods.
If that is all, dears, please escort them back to the entrance. When your done, return to my chamber, so we may begin Lao's training. we both nod to her.
"Yes mother." We say at the same time, before turning around and pointing out.
"Please follow me. Ive been here longer, and shes still yet to learn the caverns." I say. Lao looks at me grumpily, but follows me, and the three princesses follow us.
They light their horns as we enter the dark, and follow us in silence for a while. Twilight finally has a question.
"Did you get your cane from the Queen as well?" I nod.
"Yes. She had had it made by the ancient tribes for the pony that was to become her ambassador. I'm guessing the bow was the same." I reply. We walk along in more silence, before Celestia says.
"So, I'm guessing you ate Sombra. Judging by the way you phrased it, you ate him with your brothers. What did he taste like?" The other two princesses look to her like shes crazy. I just giggle.
"He was stringy, not gonna lie. It was a little hard to chew him." Celestia just nods. We finally make it to the doors to enter the cavern, and I knock. They start to open, as I turn back to the princesses.
"I bid you goodnight, princesses. I must go and teach my sister about how we live." They nod, and Celestia just sighs.
"You have no idea how hard it is to teach a sibling. I'm still doing so." Luna just looks indignant.
"Celestia, what have you been teaching me? I dont know of you teaching me anything. Twilight has taught me more than you." We all laugh at this, and the princesses bid us adieu.
We then ran back, in the total darkness, seeing as if it was pure daylight, towards the Queens chamber. Reachung it, we enter, and the Queen nuzzles us before saying.
Now, lets begin training.

Hey guys, this is going great. I'm actually having a lot of fun writing this story. Anyway, have a good day.
I stab another Pinkie Pie, as I watch the mane 6, as mother calls them, round up others. Lao shoots another as it pokes its head up above the roof of a building nearby, poofing out of existence, the magic in it flying off into the forest.
This day didnt start out like this, but it definately wasnt going to get better if I didnt do anything about it.
I saw one Pinkie, looking sad, sitting near the rest of the 6. I got Lao's attention with a screech, and pointed to the Pinkie, and shook my head. She understood, and started to snipe every other Pinkie. She then drew the bow, but the arrow was different, it had a more bulbous head. Firing, he arrow hit the ground, and a small cluster of rocks flew and hit each nearby Pinkie, dispelling it. Large swathes of Pinkies disappeared from the three arrows, and soon only two remained.
The girls were pantin, and looking between the two, as I came up behind the still happy Pinkie, and grabbed her head from behind. Brining it up in front of me, I opened my mouth, and shot my inner jaw into, and through her head.
The 5 were horrified by what I did, but I ignored them as the Pinkie dissolved, and the magic flew off into the Everfree. I moved for the last Pinkie, and grabbed her, sniffing her all over. She was scared, and I finished quickly. Dropping her, I stood up.
"Shes the original. Now, what happened? Barney only was able to tell me so much." Barney was the Xenomorph drone assigned to watch Pinkie, and Pinkie had named him. It stuck. He was a griffon drone.
Twilight shakes off her disgust.
"W-well, she wanted to spend time with all of us, but she can only be in one place at a time. So, she decided to see if an old legend, the mirror pool, was real, and it was. So, she cloned herself, and then the clones didnt stop, and we had a wave of Pinkies. But, how did you know she was the original?"
"She looked depressed as fuck. Also, she smelled like an actual being. Not a magical construct." I say. They all look at each other, and Twilight thinks.
"Was it really that easy? Just checking of they were a magical construct? Why didnt I think of that?" She then facehooves. I just shake my head.
"Beat yourself up later, you need to start helping rebuild the town. All of those Pinkie Pies did damage, and the town isnt looking to good." I say, pointing. They all turn around, and Pinkie sags, her hair going long and straight, and her pink coat graying. Her head hangs down, and she sighs.
"I'm sorry. I just wanted to hangout with all my friends." She says glumly. I sigh.
Vthen tell them that you can only hang with one at a time. I dont care if you can break physics, your still one pony. Tell them that, and that you might have other things to do. This doesnt help." I say, waving my hand in the general vicinity of everywhere, refering to the horde of Pinkies that came through.
She nods, and her friends gather around her. I just turn, and me and Lao leave.
A week later, Mother sends me back to Ponyville. She said to get in, and stop Trixie. When I arrived in Ponyville, nothing was wrong though.
So, I went about running around town, jumping from roof to roof, crawling around on buildings.
Nothing was wrong. However, about noon a pony walked into town. She had silver hair, and Robin egg blue fur. She wore a purple hat with stars on it. She staggered into town like she owned it, and called out to the town.
"Ponies lof Ponyville, I, the Great and Powerful Trixie, have returned. And, I challenge the Twilight Sparkle to a magic duel."
Applejack steps up first.
"Trixie, come on. You cant be serious? Its not even that I think you'll lose, its that this is just asinine." Trixie smirks.
"Ah, Applejack, one of the mares I was looking for. What was it I did to you last time?" She says with a smug grin.
"You hog tied me with ma own rope. What of it?" Applejack replies with a shrug. Trixie grins wider.
"Well, apparently you didnt learn your lesson last time. Don't underestimate Trixie!" She then cast a spell that made a rope, and sent it at Applejack. The rope reached her, and hog tied her. It then flew to the top of the nearest building, the town hall, and hung her from its flagpole.
Immediately, I screech out, and have her guard go get her discreetly.
Trixie is the only pony who looks around for me.
"What was that?" She says snarkily. Rarity walks up.
"It doesnt matter dear. What does matter is why your doing this?" Trixie's smirk disappears, and is replaced with hatred.
"Because I was humiliated by Twilight! So, I'm going to humiliate her!" She then charged her horn, and shot it at Rarity.
I had enough. I grabbed my cane, and leaped off the building. The cane twisted in my hand, and I felt a shift in it. As I hit the ground, I swung the cane, and a long, bladed whip came from it.
It intercepted the bolt of magic just inches from Rarity's face, and it dissipated it harmlessly. I spun, my bladed whip following behind like my tail, and whipped it at Trixie, who cast a barrier.
The barrier immediately cracked, and fell apart. Trixie looked scared.
"What abomination are you?" She asks.
"I am Protecters Heart, Ambassador of the Xenomorph Queen, and watcher of the kingdom. Trixie Lulamoon, my Queen sent me here to stop you. She knows why your doing this, and ordered me to take it, and destroy it." Trixie laughed.
"You cant destroy it. Celestia herself tried. Also, you cant take it, unless I give it." I shook my head.
"Not if your dead." I then lash out with the whip, attacking Trixie. I wasnt actually going to kill her, but if I could scare her enough, then I can get her to take it off. I see Twilight come through the crowd, and see the fight.
I whip the cane around, and the handle twists, and the whip retracts into a cane again, and I use it as a sword. Trixie fires fireballs at me, and I use the cane to destroy them. She then charges a large fireball, launching it at me, and I twist the cane, the whip coming out, before doing a somersault and bringing the whip down on the fireball, dissipating it harmlessly.
Trixie is scared.
"Concede, and I wont kill you." I say. Twilight gets angry.
"Protecter, no! If you do kill her, your race will become enemies of Equestria. " I look at Twilight.
"The Alicorn Amulet must not be allowed to remain active. If Trixie does not willingly give it to me to dispose of, then I must take it by force, from her dead body." I say, looking back to Trixie. Twilight is incredulous.
"Trixie has the Alicorn Amulet? How?" Trixie smirks.
"I bought it on the black market. The sales pony even asked if I wanted it gift wrapped." Trixie laughs, and then shoots a blast of magic at Twilight. I wouldnt be able to get the whip out in time to stop it, so I jump.
Getting in front of the bolt, it hits me, and I feel a blast of fire burning my back. I screech in pain as my fur burns and my chitin cracks. I try to move, and can't do so very well. My chitin feels fused together some.
I fall to the ground, and I can still feel the fire burning on me. Twilight puts it out with a quick gust of wind, and it feels cool against my chitin. My tail barely moves when I tell it too. I dont see what Twilight does to Trixie since she is behind me, but the next thing I know, Trixie is thrown down in front of me, and is being held by all the Xenomorph guards. She is struggling, and her horn is being held.
"You will be broken for hurting our Queens child." Jun screeches. I cant screech loudly, but I do.
"No. Mother told me to keep her alive. Do not hurt her. I don't want to displease mother, please." I said. I move, feeling the chitin on my back crack and shatter as I did. I forced my tail to move, and it does, the chitin cracking as I move it and the chinks get stuff caught in them.
Standing, I feel liquid running down my back. Looking down, I see my blood hitting the ground, and vapor drifting from the melting ground and rock. I stagger towards Trixie.
"Trixie, give me the fucking necklace, before I cover you in my blood, and melt it and you down." I say through my grit teeth. Trixie looks at the blood on the ground, melting the cobblestone streets, she decides.
"Okay." I have the others get off her, and she stands up and takes the amulet off.
Handing it to me, I wipe my hand on my back, before slathering my blood onto the amulet. The amulet starts to melt in my hand, and I watch as a puddle of my blood seeps through my fingers, taking metal and mineral with it. Moments later, the amulet is gone. I look at Trixie.
"Your lucky Mother wanted you to live. Because if not, I would have you killed." I then hiss at the xenomorphs nearby, and they all leave, except for Jun, my Xenomorph guard.
Jun tailwhips her in the face, knocking her out, as I limp away towards my hideout, an old part of the sewer systems that lead around Ponyville. Reaching it, I start to treat my wounds. I hear Mothers voice through her telepathy.
"Daughter, are you all right?" I reply to her the same way. Ever since I was changed, I have been able to connect to Mother through telepathy, much like her.
"No. Trixie hit me with a fireball on my back, and the chitin is partially melted. But the amulet is gone, melted with my blood, abd Trixie won't be hurting anyone else." I can feel Mothers sadness, and her pride at my accomplishment. It feels good.
"Good work my dear. Come home, and I can help heal the wound." I reply I will, I just want to rest a little before doing so, and she understands, before severing the telepathic link. Then, I smell cupcakes, and look around to see Pinkie has come into my layer. I hiss.
"Now thats rude, I just came to give you some cupcakes after what happened." Pinkie says, looking right at me in the dark. I just crawl out, and look at her.
"Thank you. I will be heading home soon, so these are appreciated." Pinkie nods, and pulls out a box of cupcakes.
"Here, for everyone at the hive. Your moms favorite is in here, blueberry flavored cupcakes where hard to make." She says. I just tilt my head, before shrugging it off. I dont have time to care about what she said. Taking the box, I thank her, and leave, Jun behind me.
We make it to Canterlot after dark, much to my chagrin. I head to the castle, and am halted at the gates.
"Hey, who are you? I've never seen you before?" Says a guard. Looking at him, he is a thestrals, and seems to be a new recruit.
"I am Ambassador Nightshade, ambassador for the Xenomorphs." The guard nods.
"Please wait here while I check that out. I've heard of you, but I want to take precautions." I nod. He is a smart guard, nice to any ambassador, and still makong sure to do his job. I will be remembering his name.
"Thats fine Private..." I say, trailing off to hint my wanting his name.
"Private Night Strike, ma'am. New recruit from the 45th division." I smile. My old division.
"I will be sure to tell Luna that you are doing admirably." The guard blushes, and bows. He then finishes what he was doing, looking at some papers in the small guard station at the castle walls.
"Alright, you can go ma'am. Sorry for the inconvenience." I shake my head.
"Your fine." And then, I move off, waving goodbye to him. He just waves once, before going back to work. I make my way to the throne room real quick. Entering through the vents into the throne room, I see a large meeting underway being conducted with all the nobles, including both of my bastard parents.
Gold Bit, my father, and Gilded Penny, my mother. I hiss, and it fills the room. The nobles in the room all go silent, as they look around trying to find me. The guards dont try, and both Princesses smile at what they hear. I hiss again, and smell the air.
I find that onenof the guards smells like sex again. Mainly, Luna's smell. I crawl down the wall to find the guard, and see it is the same guard as before. I come down behind her, and hiss. I see her visibly tense, her body stiffening at my threat call. The nobles still look around the room blindly, but the shadows are deeper at night.
I move away from the guard that Luna has been having fun with, something I am happy for her at. I move to behind the princesses, and drop down behind them, my body landing without a sound.
I hiss, louder than the other times, as I crawl up the back of the Two thrones, and hang over the princesses. They do a wonderful job of not showing any emotion except a smug look of mirth at the tottering nobles looking scared. Luna especially looks happy. I reach my tail down in front of Luna, and finally the nobles see me. One points to the princesses, and they all see my tail come down in front of Luna, curling around before the spear like end appears.
They all scream in terror, and beg the guards to protect them. Only two stand and try to protect the princesses. Two who I have known to help others however they can. Fleur de Lis was the one I had to watch for though.
Being the ex assassin to Celestia, she was deadly. She had her horn yes, but that was just a part of her arsenal. She grabbed a rapier out of nowhere, and lunged at me. She was fast, faster than anyone in the room could see. Save for the princesses, and me.
I moved my tail to intercept her strike, the blade stabbed into my tail, releasing a small amount of blood. The blood started to eat the sword, and when it dripped, it ate away at whatever it touched. Fleur was baffled, and withdrew her sword from my tail. The melted piece of metal was useless now. Fleur was about to attack again, pulling out a dagger from nowhere once again, when Celestia stepped in.
"My ponies, please, cease this noise. Nightshade, you know better than to do this. Please, come out the shadows and introduce yourself." I sigh, before jumping off the throne back, and landing before the princesses, and standing to full height, towering over every pony in the room.
"Fine. I will introduce myself to the noble rabble. I am Protecters Heart, daughter of the Queen of the Xenomorphs, her ambassador, and her voice. Please, call me ambassador Nightshade, as it will be easier for you buffoons to remember. Also, I am so Happy to see that you all have the princesses safekeeping in the highest regards when I was next to them." I finish, with the utmost sass, sarcasm, and dissapointment as possible dripping out of my mouth like a waterfall.
Only a few had the dignity to look ashamed. I just scoffed in disgust, before turning back to the princesses.
"I am sorry for the interuption, but I came to give high praise to a guard, a recruit working the front gate, Private Night Strike. He did as guards are supposed to, and greeted an ambassador like a guard, was polite the entire time, and apologized for the fact he had to make sure I was who I was. I have a feeling he should get some time for more gate guarding, of the inner gate. Also, I would like to request that, that guard," I point to the guard who smells of Luna, " be transfered to the gate as well, for brief periods." I say, smiling gently. I have no want to hurt them, and want them to be my company when I come out.
The princesses mull for a second, before saying.
"We will need to talk a bit about this, and plan the times for when they will be on guard. I hope you understand, your highness." Celestia says, surprising me a bit that she would use my technical title of royalty. I shake my head.
"I may be her daughter, but I am no princess. Call it adoption, and rebirth. But still, I thank you for your consideration of my words. I must report to my Queen, and help my sister learn." They both nod, and I walk out the room. I then notice two ponies who followed me, but are staying back. I know who they are.
It is Fleur and her husband, Fancy Pants, a gentlestallion if there ever was one. They stayed back, tailing me. So, I made sure they could follow. Every corner, I made sure to keep just enough of my tail seen to let the m know where I went. It was fun to see the ex assassin be noticed, yet she didnt know it. But finally, I reach the doors to the catacombs. I move to the two guarding it, and they open it. As they do, I whisper to one of them to open the door for the two following me. They nod, open the door, and after I pass through, shut it upon my request.
As I entered the catacombs, I screech out a message to my Queen, who responds with a greeting of her own, echoing from the dark. Outside the doors, I can hear the guards talking.
"Halt, who are you? Why are you here?" One asks the Unknown ponies outside.
"Fleur de Lis, silent General to Celestia, retired. I request that you tell me what is beyond these doors." The guard nods, I imagine. He then salutes.
"Sorry, General Fleur. Yes, I will open the doors right away." They must be confused now, as the two guards open the door.
And behind it, sitting, is me, smiling and waiting.
"Hello, Fleur, Fancy. How are you tonight?" I ask, and they are surprised to see me. Fleur recovers first.
"Ambassador Nightshade, we are fine, despite your display in the throne room. May I ask why you are here though?" I nod.
"This is our home. The Queens chamber lies further in, but I am not allowed to take you there. And honestly, I am tired, and I am still hurting from my run in with a unicorn who fireballed me." I say. They both are startled from my answer, and I turn and show them my back, and the chitin thats been melted. They both gasp at the sight.
"That looks horrible! How are you still moving my dear?" Lord Fancy asks.
"It helps that the pain has dulled over the last four hours. I am heading to Mother to so she can help me heal." I reply, hoping to maybe head off soon. I had ended up getting broken shards of chitin in some chinks of my tail, and I would need to take time to get them out, plus the shell on my back wasnt allowing for much flexibility at the moment.
"Well, we wont keep you then. We just wanted to say hello, and partially thank you for interrupting the meeting. The princesses where getting bombarded by petty requests from the rest of the nobles. Your interference gave a good stop to any more blithering and pontificating." Lord Fancy says. I nod.
"Yes, Gold Bit and Gilded Penny always did pontificate like pigeons, never stopping." This confused them as to why I only mentioned those two, so I told them.
