Shadow Chaser was once your semi-average sixteen year old boy who had just learned how to drive and was living, taking care of his younger brother in an apartment building and used the inheritance money he got to buy groceries as their parents had died a year earlier. Unfortunately Shadow Chaser's life changed one night when he went to get his brother for dinner only to find that he had committed suicide as a demonic entity stood under his lifeless body grinning like someone who was happy with their finished art work. After a brief confrontation which ended with both parties wounded and Shadow Chaser was left on the floor when something had happened to him that caused him to shriek and howl in pain. After moving to a new city Shadow Chaser used some of his inheritance money to hire people that would train him in the art of dealing with the vary thing that killed his little bro but he soon realized that what ever caused him to shriek affected him in more ways then one.
