The Fire Phoenix

Firesky was a Pegasus living in Mixville. She had an orange mane and there was a red line running down the middle of her mane. Her mane style was like Rainbow Dash. Her tail was the same color and cut short. She had a yellow coat and her cutie mark was the flaming orange wings. Her eyes were red and under her neck was a pair of goggles. She was currently talking to Spitfire, who was the captain of the Wonderbolts.

"Look, you're the fastest mare I know! Your records are impressive and you are the only mare we know that can perform the Sonic Flameboom! You'll become a great asset to the team!!" The Wonderbolts Captain said to Firesky, who looked at her uninterestedly.

"I really appreciate your invitation, but my answer is still no. If I join Wonderbolts, it means I'd have to leave my friends behind and I definitely won't do that." Firesky told Spitfire, who was looking desperate.

"I told you that you won't have to!! I've seen what you can do!!" Said Spitfire.

"Sorry Spitfire but the answer is still no. They are like my family and I won't leave them behind." Said Firesky.

Spitfire sighed and said. "Fine, I won't force you. If you want to join the team, you know where to find us."

Firesky watched Spitfire flew away. She sighed and flew to Oak Golden Library. When she flew to the place, she knocked the door. The door opened revealed a lavender unicorn. Her cutie mark was a book that had a star on it. She was Mixville's librarian and Lunatist's number one student,

"You know, this is a library, you don't need to knock the door every time you come here." The lavender unicorn explained to her friend.

"Sorry, Twin. It's a habit. Can I come in?" Asked Firesky.

"Oh, sure." Twinkle Sparkler avoided to let her friend came in. "So, why are you here anyway? Borrow some Scaring Scost books?"

"Yep. Wait ... How'd you know?" Firesky asked her friend in surprise.

"Oh come on, Firesky! That's almost the only reason you come here every time!" Twinkle said while taking out the Scaring Scost books. She walked to her friend, gave her the books and said. "I can't believe you like these horror books."

"It's just like you like these magic books." Firesky said as she pointed to the books lying on the table. Twinkle chuckled and said. "Yeah, you got me."

"Well, thanks for letting me borrow these books!" She said before flying away, leaving a fire trail behind.

Firesky was lying on the cloud, reading a book. Suddenly a familiar voice called her from below, she looked down and saw a pink earth pony, her cutie mark was a cake. She worked at Sugarcube Corner and specializes in throwing paries for everypony. Firesky flew the cloud close to it and asked. "Hey, Pinks. What's up?"

"Oh, nothing. Twin asked us to gather at the library to test a new spell! Everypony has gathered there!!! So are you coming?! Well, If you're not coming then I'll come back and say 'Hey! 'Sky won't come!!' and Twin will ask 'Why won't she come?' and then I'll say 'I don't know, because she didn't say why!!' and she-" Pinkis Pie was interrupted by a hoof placed on her mouth.

"Okay okay, I get it!" Firesky said as she removed a hoof from Pinkis' mouth. "I won't come because my break time is over. I'll be there in five minutes, 'kay?"

"Okie dokie!!" Pinkis replied as she pounced toward the library.

At the library, there were five mares gathering there. The four mares were looking at the lavender unicorn.

"So Twinkle, dear, why are we gathering here again?" Asked the orange unicorn, her cutie mark was an apple made of a gemstone. She had a blonde mane and tail and the same manestyle as Rarity. She was a fashionista of Mixville. Her name was Redgem.

"Ain't 'Pinks tell y'all? She said that Twin wanted 'ta try da new spell." The white earth pony said, her cutie mark was three oranges. Her mand and tail were purple and the same manestyle as Applejack. She had never gone out without her hat and she was a farmer who worked at Sweet Oranges Acres. Her name was Orange Spice.

"Of course Pinkis told me, dear. But what kind of spell?" Said Redgem.

"Maybe, um, we could wait for her to ... um, answer, if that's okay with you ..." Said the cyan Pegasus. She had a rainbow mane and tail, the same manestyle as Fluttershy. She was an animal caretaker in Mixville. She had a cottage near the Everfree Forest. Her cutie mark was three rainbow butterflies. Her name was Rainbow Cloud.

"Good idea Rainbow, dear." Redgem said to Rainbow Cloud.

"Well, I just found a spell that can improve our powers. But before doing that, I need all of you trust me and keep absolutely quiet." Explained Twinkle. As she saw they all nod, she continued. "Okay, so let's get started."

Twinkle's horn glowed, she and her friends' magical energy floated out of their bodies. Twinkle sweated as the magic ball floated in the middle of them.

"Almost there ... almost there ... just a little bit more ... " Twinkle sweated as she said.

Firesky landed in front of the library, she raised her hoof to knock the door, but she remembered Twinkle's words. She shrugged, opened the door and said. "Hey guys!!"

"Ahhh!!" They all exclaimed in unison. The magic ball was broken and exploded, causing the five of them to fly into the bookshelves. Firesky ran in and asked worriedly. "Are you all okay?"

"Okay?! How can we be okay?!! Look what you did!!!" Twinkle yelled at Firesky's face.

Firesky stepped back and asked. "What did I do? I just opened the door."

"Because of you, we can't use our magic for TWO weeks!!!" Yelled Twinkle.

"Two weeks?! How can I complete my orders! I have to deliver them on Sunday and today is Friday!!!" Redgem pressed her hoof into Firesky's chest as she spoke.

"And how can I throw parties?!! And tomorrow is Trucker's birthday!!!" Exclaimed Pinkis.

"And how am Ah supposed 'ta buckin' oranges?!!" Orange Spice said as Firesky stepped back. "It's cider season!!"

"If I can't talk to the animals, how can they know when to avoid the Everfree Forest!!" Rainbowfly joined.

"I'm sorry ... I didn't mean to-" Firesky was cut off by Twinkle.

"Get out of here!!! We don't want you to show your face around us!! And give back my books!!!" Twinkle said as she took the books from Firesky.

"Yeah!! Get outta here, Firetrash!!" Firesky was shocked, she tried to hold her tears from falling. That was her nickname called at the Junior Speedsters Flight Camp. At that time, Rainbowfly helped her overcome that name, but not now. Now her friend also called her by that name, it was worse than those bullies.

"But ... I am your friend ... right?" Firesky asked, scared that her friends would abandon her.

"No!! Not anymore!! Get outta here, Firetrash!!"

"Yeah, 'trash!!"

"We don't want to see your face again!!!"

Firesky let her tears fall, she turned and flew away, leaving a fire trait behind. As she flew away, she could hear the door slamming. She immediately flew back home.

When she got home, she jumped into her bed, hugged the pillow and cried loudly. She lied there, crying and asking herself.

'How could they do this to me?!'

'Do they need to do that? Abandon me?'

'I'm their friend after all!'

'Friends? Who needs friends?!"

'I don't need them!! I still can live without them!!'

'I will start a new life without them!! They only got in my way!!'

Firesky stood up and wiped her tears. She walked over to put eight thousand bits into her saddle bag. She walked to the door and saw the picture of the six of them. She picked it up and slammed it to the cloud. She walked out of the door, closed it and put the goggles on her eyes.

She started to launch herself to the west. She flied as fast as she could and had created a Sonic Flameboom. Unlike the Sonic Rainboom, the Sonic Flameboom ignited fire. The flames covered her but it didn't burn her and her things. She continued to fly and created another one. She was like a fireball flying through the sky. Her flames were more wilder as she created another one. The flames covering her were shaped like an orange phoenix with red eyes. She created one more, but after creating it, she disappeared.
