Elemancer High

The tension in the stadium at Elemancer High could be cut with a butter knife as Rainbow Dash and Lightning Dust stared at each other, not moving until Rainbow Dash went to punch Lightning Dust. However Lightning Dust managed to doge as she flew into the air.

“Try and doge this!” Rainbow Dash shouted as she shot a stream of lighting from her hands as she to flew into the air.

Lightning Dust smirked as she deflected the attack with sparks “nice try, but you’ll ne-” Lightning Dust started as Rainbow Dash flew into her face and knocked her down to the ground with a kick from above.

“H-holly shit” Tyler muttered as Lighting Dust shot from the ground and landed a blow on her rival straight in the stomach.

“Ah know right? These duels can get heated, or in this case...electrifying” Applejack replied as Pinkie stifled a laugh.

Lightning Dust grinned thinking that she had won until she felt Rainbow Dash grab her wrist “Oh shi-eit!” She thought as a surge of electricity rushed through her, causing her to scream in agony and twitch as electric bolts shot out of her and even causing a couple fingers to detach.

“What’s wrong? Isn’t Lightning in your name?” Rainbow Dash teased as she went to punch Lighting again but was caught by the very same mare Rainbow Dash had just electrocuted.

“You’re right but if Dash is in your name then are you fast enough to doge this?” Lighting Dust retorted as she brought her free hand that was missing an index finger to the azure mare’s head before shooting sparks out of her palm in close range.

Rainbow Dash gritted her teeth at the pain of her skin being burned and eyeball going blind before popping. Rainbow Dash grunted before letting go and holder her eye with a hand.

“Well then ready to give up?” Lightning Dust asked.

“Like hell!” Rainbow Dash replied as she flew high into the sky, her hand no longer covering her eye.

Rainbow Dash then began flying around Lightning Dust, from top to bottom in a spiral shape, each turn releasing lighting that seemed to transition from green to violet. “Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet” she muttered as a rainbow colored electrical tornado formed around Lightning Dust.

Lightning Dust could fell the static around her as every part of her was zapped, the electrical tornado subsided however she had very little time to recover as she was given an uppercut by Rainbow Dash. This proved to much for the cyan mare as she began falling to the ground before getting caught by Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash landed on the ground and laid the now unconscious mare beside her before raising a fist in the air, causing cheering to erupt from the crowd.

“U-uh Rainbow Dash has won the match!” Principal Celestia said into the mic in surprise as a Hippogriff, a human rushed out with a stretcher and took Lighting Dust away, Rainbow Dash on the other hand simply limped back to the entrance.

“W-what just happened” Tyler asked under her breath.

“Wow that was one hell of a show to watch” Twilight added.

“Yea but it could have been done without the eye pop” Rarity replied as she gagged.

“I-I have to agree with you there...” Fluttershy added.

“At least Dashie won!” Pinkie Pie squealed in happiness.

“Now then we’ll get the field fixed so see everyone back in about twenty” Vice Principal Thorax said as Tyler and friends got up to go and congratulate their friend.

The six soon found their friend on a gurney being treated for her wounds by a nurse that came from the hospital nearby.

“Oh hey guys, told ya I’d win” Rainbow Dash greeted with a smirk.

“Uh you never told us that, but congratulations on winning” Twilight replied with a giggle.

“So Tye, how was witnessing your first Elemancer match?” Rainbow Dash asked with a grin.

“To be honest...it was pretty fucking cool! But are you sure Lighting Dust is gonna be okay?” Tyler asked.

“Pfft yea she is, this school has an Elixermancer as the nurse and has employed a few doctors from the nearby hospital, one of which is a Bodymancer” Rainbow Dash replied nonchalantly.

“Speaking of which, I think a certain boy has to get ready for his match” Applejack added.

“Oh yea, see ya guys after my match” Tyler replied along with a wave as he rushed over to where the armor and weapons were.

“Bye Tyley, have fun!” Pinkie Pie shouted.

“Knock em dead...actually don’t do that” Twilight replied with a blush as the rest of their friends giggled.

“Now then I think you have a match to watch” Rainbow Dash said.

“What about you?” Twilight asked.

“I can watch it on the TV” Rainbow Dash replied as she motioned to the medium sized flat screen.

“Alright Darling, just get better” Rarity said as the group walked back to their seats.

Meanwhile Tyler was panicking a bit as he put on a metal chest plate, metal gauntlets, a helmet, leg amour, he also grabbed a sword that was semi dulled and a shield before making his way out onto the field. Sure he felt butterflies in his stomach but they were no where near as bad a week earlier, let alone just yesterday.

Tyler felt his friends watching from their seats so he gave the a quick glance before looking forward to see Gilda coming out of the opposite entrance while wearing a gray t-shirt that was covered by a gold chest plate, she also had on a navy blue skirt and a gold helmet.

Tyler took a deep breath before amusing a defensive stance. “So this is it?” He thought as Gilda gave a smug smile and started Stretching.

“Alright everyone, who’s ready for match two?” Principal Celestial asked in excitement as the crowd cheered before the bell rang again.

As he was about to charge at the gryphonness he noticed that she was gone in a blink of the eye. “Where did she go?” He thought as he looked around before realizing all to late that she was in the air.

“I’m gonna finish this in one attack!” Gilda shouted as she let loose a massive stream of fire from her mouth.

Tyler manged to raise his shield in time to block most of the flame except for a few that burned him slightly, singed his hair and clothes.

“Phew” He thought as he dodged another fire attack.

“Grrr hold still!” Gilda snarled as she dived towards Tyler, claws talons bared.

Tyler managed to evade the angry gryphonness and bashed her away with his shield.

“Gah!”- Gilda screamed as the impact seemed to dislocate a wing -“You’re going to pay for that!” She shouted before releasing a barrage of fireballs.

This caught Tyler off guard and sent him flying against the wall, giving Gilda enough time to pop her wing back into place. Tyler on the other hand was already out of breath and was heavily bleeding from his head.

Seizing her opportunity Gilda rushed towards Tyler, she then swiped at him with her talons which tore through his chest plate and slashing open his chest. Before he could raise his shield, counter attack the gryphonness knocked both the sword and the shield out of Tyler’s hands.

“Whoaahh!” Tyler screamed as Gilda grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and threw him out to the middle of the stadium’s field.

“Ngh!” Tyler grunted as he felt the air get knocked out of him and his left arm shatter.

After regaining his breath Tyler then managed to fight threw the agony he was feeling and made his way to the sword.

“Where do you think you’re going dweeb?” Gilda asked sarcastically as she grabbed onto him and flew him high into the air.

“What are-” Tyler started to ask before Gilda let him go, causing him to plummet to the ground, the added wait of the armor he had made him fall faster as he hit the ground with an audible thud.

Once the dust settled only Tyler’s right hand could be seen as the rest of him was covered in slabs of rock and pavement.

The silence among the onlookers was deafening.

“Come on Tyler get up” Twilight thought.

“P-please don’t be dead” Fluttershy whispered as she began to cry.

Pinkie was silent as her hair and tail started deflating, meanwhile Applejack just covered her face with her hat while trying to fight back tears. Rarity was also crying, not caring about her make up.

“C’mon Tye get up” Rainbow Dash muttered under her breath as she stared intently at the TV.

Gilda on the other hand felt triumphant as she walked back to the entrance in which she entered with a smug grin on her fave. She stopped when she heard a low growl along with the pile of rock and pavement rumbling.

“Ugh that dweeb’s still alive?” She annoying asked as she turned to look at the pile on to find the lower left arm of Tyler which looked different, it had black fur, with grayish skin along with it being bigger in size.

Gilda also saw that the armor that Tyler was wearing had been broken into pieces. The gryphonness then cautiously walked over to the pile and picked up a piece of armor, noticing that it looked like someone broke it by pulling it from the outside.

“What the?” She thought as she felt like she was being watched and then heard a gasp come from the audience as she heard a low growl.

Gulping Gilda looked behind as she saw saw a large fur covered hand grab her by the neck and lifted her about a foot of the
ground, her eyes widened at the beast in front of her.
