The New Filly in Town

"But Mom!" I pleaded, "I don't wanna move to Ponyville!"

"Why not, Zebra? I mean, You could make new friends!" Mom said annoyed with me.

"I'm fine with my friends here!"

"Zebra Dream, we are renovating and we don't want you getting hurt on any of this equipment." Dad warned me.

"Dad! I won't get hurt! Trust me!"

"You are a young filly. You could get hurt. The decision is final. You are staying with the librarian,Twilight Sparkle."

"Fine." I said as I walked to my room to gather my stuff.

I packed my journal, toothbrush, pillow and blanket. "You are staying with the librarian, Twilight Sparkle." Those words stuck in my head. I think I heard of her before.

"Ready to go." I muttered as I walked out the door and got on my scooter. Off to the train station. I was taking the morning train there. I was still thinking about the pony I was staying with. "Twilight Sparkle...Like Head of the Royal Guard, Shining Armor's little sister?" I thought as I looked for a place to sit. I sat in an empty booth in an empty car. "Next Stop, Ponyville!" The conductor boomed. I sat, and shed a tear. I didn't know why, but just the thought of moving and renovations and if I could make friends and I just exploded. Tears just flooded out of my eyes. It was a long hour.

I ended up falling asleep and got woken up by the conductor. "Miss...is this your stop?" He asked. I rose and nodded. Out of the train I headed. I thought I had to find the library. But, there was Twilight. She was holding a sign that said "Zebra Dream" on it. I shuffled over and said "Hello..."

"Hello, I am Twilight Sparkle."

"I have a question..."

"What is it, Zebra?"

"Are you..." I couldn't ask anymore.

"Am I what?"

"Nevermind..."

We headed through town and stopped at the apple cart. Twilight set 2 bits on the counter and asked how many apples she could get.

"Applejack!" A small yellow pony, about my age whimpered to her appeared to be older sister.

"Apple Bloom!" She snapped. "Go play with Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle!"

"Fine." She walked past me and I smiled. She looked at me and motioned for me to come. I pointed my eyes at Twilight, and Apple Bloom rolled her eyes. I, being the idiot I am, went with her.

"Hi! I'm Apple Bloom!" "I'm Zebra Dream." I smiled.

"You gotta meet Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle!"

"Ok!" We walked for a while, and got to a tree house. "Bpple Aloom" She said. "Come up." "Umm. Drebra Zeam?" "Come up." I climbed the ladder into the tree house.

"Girls, this is Zebra Dream!" I waved. "Do you have your Cutie Mark yet?" An orange filly with a purple mane asked. "No, I don't." I said. "Welcome to the Cutie Mark Crusaders!" She said.

"I'm Scootaloo, and the one next to me is Sweetie Belle."

"Hi! So, what is the Cutie Mark Crusaders?" "A top secret organisation of fillies who don't have their cutie marks." I chuckled and said "I am a filly... who doesn't have a cutie mark!" The girls erupted with laughter. "Well, I guess I better get going, Twilight probably is losing her head. I climbed down the ladder and Apple Bloom came down. "Can you help me to the library?" I said. She nodded and we made it to the library.
