The New Filly in Town

Twilight beat me home. I gulped and opened the door. "Zebra! There you are! Have you eaten any coconuts?" "What? No...I'd be dumb to. I'm allergic to them." "Well, your parents sent over a list of your allergies, what your allowed to watch, do and say." "I'm sorry that I ran off earlier..." "You ran off?!" "Yeah I went with Apple Bloom to-" "To Where?" "Her friend's tree house.." "Oh. Ok then." Phew. I stepped out side. "Oh no you dont!" Twilight dragged me back in.

"What was that for?"

"You are not allowed to leave the house after 6:30."

"Twilight. It's 3:00."

"Fine. You can go out."

"I'll be back by 5!"

She sighed. "Fine."

I ran out and got on my scooter, I rode to the school. I wanted to explore a bit. I looked for a way in and there was only one. An open window on the 2nd floor. There was a couple cinder blocks and a wood platform. I struggled to push the cinder block to the spot where the ramp should be.

I checked my watch and it was 3:30. I rocketed and then off the ramp I went. I didn't make it. I chickened out and landed in the bushes. My scooter was laying on the grass, broken. I climbed out of the bushes, and tried to fix my scooter. "No...No...NO!" I shouted.  I cried again.

About what I thought 15 minutes later, a shadow, came up and tapped on me. "Zebra..." I blinked twice. "Zebra..." I blinked two more times. "Twilight said to come find you." "Huh?" I sat up. "D...D...DRAGON!" I shouted. "Calm down!" He shushed me.

"Zebra! I'm Spike, Twilight's assistant."

"Your a nice dragon?"

"Yes."

I peeked at my watch. 6:31. "OH MY CELESTIA!" I jumped up. "Oh my, oh my, I'm so dead! Santa Hooves probably isn't gonna give me presents! My parents are gonna hate me! I stayed out past my curfew!"

"Zebra! It's fine!" Spike sat down with me. "Santa Hooves knows you didn't mean to." He smiled at me. I couldn't help but smile back. "You sure?" I said.

"I mean it. Now, why is your scooter broken?"

"I'll tell you on the way back to the library."

So I did. I told him about how I had made the ramp, and tried getting into the school.

"Will you not tell Twilight?"

"Secret's safe with me."
