The New Filly in Town
First Day of School, at least for me.
Previous ChapterNext ChapterI woke up and got ready. Twilight said that today was the first day of school for me.
I ran to the school and there were fillies and colts playing in the courtyard. I walked and sat down under the big tree. Two fillies with their cutie marks, one with a tiara and the other, a spoon walked up to me. I wonder what their special talents are. I decided to finally pipe up. "Hi! I'm-" "Blank Flank!" They both shouted. "What the hay is that supposed to mean?" I just shrugged and stood up. The teacher walked out and announced it was time for class.
I ran into the school, and I made it to the classroom. I sat in the back, in an empty seat. Lucky for me, Apple Bloom was in the same class. The teacher came in and asked "the new student" to come up and "introduce herself." I sat in the back like I have been there like, forever. "Zeb..." I slowly stood up. I walked to the front and smiled. "Hi...I'm Zebra Dream..." "Hello, I'm Miss Cheerilee." "I moved here from Canterlot, because..." I didn't want to be a sap and say for renovations, but it was the right thing. "My parents are renovating. I'm staying with Twilight Sparkle, the librarian, and so far my...um.. 17 hours here were a bit colorful. I also got the royal Canterlot voice nailed!" I gasped for air and almost said something but, I knew I should of stopped while I was ahead. I went back to my seat.

Okay, you know what should go here. Boring teaching topics, lunch, recess, more boring topics, but I'm not gonna bore you with that. Let's just say, school was awesome! No, I didn't get picked on anymore, everyone was amused with my (true) story, and I played kickball with a bunch of other foals! I even picked a daisy! I got back to headquarters, and gave it to Twilight. "I picked it in the school yard," I said smiling. "It's beautiful, Zebra! How was school?" She asked.
"AMAZING!" I shouted.
"That's wonderful! Now, can you help me with these books?"
"Sure." I said picking one at a time up. I set them on the empty shelf, nice, neat, and arranged by title.
"Do you have any of the new Daring Do books?" I asked.
"No, I have been eyeing the the newest one, I just don't have the bits. I need about... 2 more."
"I can get you those 2 bits!" I said, smiling. "We can set up a lemonade stand!"
"Great Idea!"
