When Laughter Finds a Loner

The first one that noticed how quiet Pinkie was Fluttershy. She was mostly the quiet, but even she chatted with the friend group, but Pinkie haven't spoken one word. Pinkie's hair was still puffy, so she and the others didn't know what was wrong. "Pinkie, darling, what's wrong?" Rarity took the lead, seeing as she was able to get Pinkie to respond to her first recently. She knew that was nothing wrong with Pinkie, it was just that she was more lost in thought recently, but she couldn't figure out why. Even Sunset Shimmer was floored by how quiet Pinkie was being.

It was like the bomb had calmed down, but how. They didn't even know how to keep Pinkie from not playing with their pets. "I-is a c-crush?" Fluttershy guessed, but Fluttershy knew her guess was correct by how Pinkie had stiffened in her seat. Her arms twitched and a nervous giggle bubbled out from Pinkie's lips. Rainbow Dash gave Fluttershy a shocked look.

"Look, I know Pinkie is easy to read for you, but how did you figure that out so quickly? Even Twilight couldn't figure that out!" Rainbow asked Fluttershy, who blushed and giggled.

"Well, it's kinda easy when you've been in that same state once." Fluttershy's soft voice made everyone calm down, even Pinkie calmed down at Fluttershy's voice and she wasn't even agitated. Excited, yes. She was very excited. She wanted to see her.

"Who is it, Pinkie?" Sunset asked Pinkie. Pinkie's mouth went dry for the very first time in her life. What would they say?! Pinkie feared their reactions weren't going to be acceptance even if they were best friends for a couple of months. When Sunset noticed how reluctant Pinkie was to answer, she had to figure out why. After a while of thinking about it, Sunset's gasp made Pinkie's large teary blue eyes look up at Sunset's blue eyes. "Is it a girl?" Sunset asked gently. At hearing how soft Sunset's voice was, Pinkie feared that it was a trap to get her defenses down and then they will kick out of the group.

"Pinkie?" Fluttershy, who understood most of Pinkie's ramblings, made Pinkie willing to answer.

"It is a girl. She's so sweet, but she's a loner. I want to show her the best time of her life." The moment she said 'loner', Sunset knew who Pinkie Pie was talking about and it made her smile. Wallflower Blush is the girl of her dreams. Sunset thought as she watched Pinkie's cheeks flushed with the color red. It was refreshing to see the party animal with blushing cheeks for once and the way her cheeks flushed made Sunset remember that Pinkie was like an innocent child. I bet this her first crush. Sunset thought.

"Is it that Wallflower Blush weirdo?" Rainbow asked, causing Pinkie to glare at her.

"She's not a weirdo!" Pinkie exclaimed at Rainbow, causing the rainbow-haired girl to put her hands in front of her.

"Right, right. Sorry about that, Pinkie." Rainbow tells Pinkie and Pinkie calmed down. She hadn't meant to get angry. She whimpered, about to cry from shame and guilt. Fluttershy glared at Rainbow Dash and the girl did have to decency to look embarrassed for making Pinkie upset. Fluttershy hugged Pinkie in order to get her to calm her.

"I don't know what your game was, Rainbow, but don't do that again." Fluttershy warns Rainbow Dash, who frowned at how upset Fluttershy sounded and looked. She hadn't mean to make her girlfriend angry at her. Fuck! Gotta fix this situation. Rainbow thought, but she didn't know to fix it. "Sorry, Pinkie." There, that was a start, right? Right? Rainbow frowned as Pinkie glanced up at her.

"It's alright. I'm the weirdo." Pinkie tells Rainbow, who was shocked.

"For what, liking a girl? Me and Fluttershy are dating and we're both girls!" Rainbow had just outed both her and Fluttershy to their friends.

"Thanks a lot, Dashie. I was definitely ready to tell them." Fluttershy spoke with a hint of rare sarcasm. Rainbow giggled in embarrassment.

"Sorry, babe." She spoke, knowing that the damage had been done already. No one could get angry at them as they know how reserved Fluttershy was. It wasn't like Fluttershy was ashamed of their relationship, no, she was very proud, but she wasn't officially out of the closet. To her friends, now she was officially out of the closet.

"Are you two lesbians?" Pinkie asked the one question that was important to her.

"Yes." They both answered with no shame. Pinkie knew that she didn't have that kind of confidence in herself and it killed her that she didn't have it when she needed it most.

"Are you comfortable with just liking girls, darling?" Came Rarity's understanding voice as her question reached Pinkie's ears.

"Yes." Pinkie's simple and direct answer made Rarity hug Pinkie close to her.

"Finally, I was starting to worry about you in the sexuality department." Rarity tells Pinkie. Pinkie was very confused.

"Huh?" Pinkie thought that majority of her friends were straight, besides Fluttershy and Rainbow. Clearly, she was wrong.

"All of us doesn't classify ourselves as straight." Applejack revealed to Pinkie.

"You and those two lovebirds are lesbians." Sunset tells Pinkie.

"I'm asexual." Twilight revealed.

"I'm pansexual." Rarity tells Pinkie. Sunset and Applejack blushed and looked away.

"I'm demisexual." Applejack admitted.

"Bisexual here." Sunset finally admitted it to herself and her friends. Fluttershy smiled at how open their friend group was. It made her happy to see how sexual orientation could be diverse and they could still be great friends, even if most of them were lesbians.

"What if Wallflower Blush is straight?" Pinkie asked them and mostly, herself. No one knew how to answer that.

Wallflower Blush was at lunch as well, but she was sitting by herself. She could sit at Sunset and her other friends' table, but she didn't have the guts to do that, considering that there was a pretty girl with them, but she was always with them. She was the party animal of the group. She was Pinkie Pie, after all. She didn't understand why she was so engrossed with Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie was on another planet as Wallflower questioned where did Pinkie get her energy from.

She also was interested in Pinkie in the same way that Pinkie was interested in her, however, like Pinkie Pie, she didn't know how to confess to her. Wallflower thought that if she confessed her feelings, it will ruin the friendship that they at least had.

And, neither of them wanted that to happen to the friendship.
