2. Pinkie in the Garden

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

There was something about Wallflower Blush that attracted Pinkie Pie like a moth to a flame. Pinkie knew that she didn't want to stay away from Wallflower. Her heart was telling her to stay with the adorable loner. Because Wallflower was skittish like her friend, Fluttershy, Pinkie knew not to act too crazy, but that was the strangest thing because Pinkie wasn't acting crazy at all. She was quiet as she watched Wallflower Blush work. Pinkie knew that Wallflower knew that she was there and Wallflower knew that Pinkie was there. Why is she here? Don't tell me she's here to invite me to one of her many parties? As much as Wallflower appreciated the gesture, she didn't want to mingle with more people. It stresses her out enough to deal with school and dealing with people right after stressed her out even more, which was why she strayed to the garden of Canterlot High in the first place. She stayed in the garden so much that she looses track of time, which was why she always goes home in the late afternoon. At least it haven't been dark like it was that one night.

Wallflower Blush shook her head. She didn't want to remember that. She was merely scared of the dark. There were no one following her the dark. There was no way. She then heard a small twig crack in the garden and she resisted the urge to scream out in fear. She had forgotten about her ~~stalker~~ visitor. "Are you alright, Pinkie?" God, just calling her name made Wallflower want to crawl into a heart-filled cavern with just her and Pinkie.

"I'm fine." Pinkie went quiet after answering Wallflower's question in order to be polite. She didn't want to be seen as rude as she wasn't rude, just highly energetic and super duper friendly to everyone she meets. Unknown to Wallflower, Pinkie was drinking spiked apple cider that Applejack had given her. The whiskey in her drink made her throat burn, but Pinkie didn't care. Pinkie did care about getting caught and so, she took small sips of the drink and placed it back in her book bag. She wasn't one to break the rules, but school wasn't in session and there was no one around, which was bullshit to Pinkie as there were still students at the school, even if they were in high school. Life is fucking complicated. Pinkie thought as she took another sip of her spiked apple cider. She couldn't believe that she had turn to drinking to stop thinking about her problems, but she didn't care. However, the girl that was tending to flowers, the girl she was sure she was crushing on hard, the girl had owned her heart was one of the plenty things that she cared about. Pinkie knew how much whiskey it would take to get her drunk and the amount she had right now wasn't enough to even make her tipsy.

Wallflower Blush was suddenly towering over Pinkie with an shocked expression. "A-are you drinking on school's campus?" She questioned and Pinkie's eyes held her gaze.

"Is that so wrong?" Pinkie asked Wallflower, who blushed very heavily.

"It's not when there isn't anyone to catch you." Wallflower answers Pinkie with her voice sounding quiet and Pinkie smirked a lazy smirk.

"It's apple cider with whiskey. Want some?" Pinkie asked Wallflower and the girl grinned at Pinkie. She took the bottle from Pinkie's hands and she tasted the liquor. Pinkie thought that Wallflower was going to cough and to her thought, Wallflower did cough due to how strong whiskey was. Pinkie took the bottle and she caught Wallflower after she had tripped over her feet. "Don't go falling for me. Don't hurt yourself." Wallflower knew how innocent Pinkie, which was why she haven't noticed what she had said to her. I'm already falling for her. I'm sure she's probably not falling for me, but that's fine too. Wallflower wasn't looking at Pinkie's face, which would have proved her thought wrong. Oh, God. I'm touching her! I can't deal with this! I'm not drunk of the whiskey either. I'm getting drunk off of her. Pinkie thought as she searched Wallflower Blush's flushed face. She helped her up and Wallflower inched closer to Pinkie, but when she noticed what she was about to do and she quickly pulled herself away from Pinkie.

Her lips are so kissable, but I'm a silly damn fool. There is no way that she is attracted to me. I'm just a plain person. I'm not interesting to anyone. That is why I have only a few friends. Wallflower thought as she smiled at Pinkie as thanks for helping her up. Pinkie smiled back at Wallflower and she could her face grow hot at how happy she looked and Pinkie glanced at the ground for a quick moment in order to keep her composure. She slowly raised her eyes to meet Wallflower's shy gaze. To Pinkie's not surprise, the girl of her dreams had a flushed face, but Pinkie knew that her face was even more hotter as she couldn't keep her composure as she stared at the girl.

Her throat became dry and she downed the entire bottle of spiked apple cider. The whiskey, mixed with her feelings for Wallflower Blush, made her tipsy. Wallflower wasn't even shocked that Pinkie managed to down the bottle of apple cider and whiskey mixed in together, but she was shock when Pinkie spoke to her. "Come home with me?" Pinkie asked her. Wallflower knew that Pinkie was tipsy, but she also knew that Pinkie was a innocent soul. Wallflower knew what going home with the person she likes would end up in a make out session and a night of passion, but it was simply a hookup and she didn't want that with Pinkie Pie. She wanted a relationship with Pinkie and she didn't want it to start with them having sex with one another. Wallflower respected Pinkie too much to do that to her. In a almost drunkenness stupor, Pinkie hugged Wallflower from the back and Wallflower could Pinkie's breath on her neck. "Make me yours, Flower." Pinkie spoke and that was when Wallflower knew that Pinkie was made drunk with something else combining with the whiskey.

"I will, Pinkie. I will make you mine." But, not now and not tonight. Wallflower thought as she helped Pinkie walk home. When Wallflower arrived at Pinkie's house, her older sister, Maud was standing at the door. Maud noticed the drunk stupor her baby sister was in and she sighed.

"I'm sorry about this." Wallflower tells Maud. Maud tilted her head to the side.

"It's fine. This always happens when she's exhausted. And in love. Maud knew not to say that out loud as this was the first time that Pinkie was in love. "She tends to overthink things, which leads to her being drunk when she means to be tipsy." Maud explained even further to Wallflower Blush, knowing that she is the girl that Pinkie fell for. Maud smiled a little as she was grateful for Wallflower rejecting Pinkie. Wallflower didn't want to embarrass the girl and so, she never told Maud what Pinkie had told her as she knew that it only for her ears. Wallflower waited until Maud took Pinkie into her arms, gently holding her. You crazy girl. At least get drunk when you're at home and not on school's property. Maud thought as she hugged Pinkie. Pinkie opened her glistened blue eyes and she noticed Maud's color scheme and she smiled.

"Did Flower bring me home?" Maud nodded her head at Pinkie. "God, I love her so much." Pinkie's confession when unheard to Wallflower and Maud was very grateful for that as she feared what would have happened if Wallflower had heard her confession in her drunken state. "I told her to make me hers. She told me that she will." Maud's eyes narrowed and she relaxed when she realized that Wallflower didn't want Pinkie drunk when they have a night of passion. That's a good girl. She thought. She could deal with Pinkie not making the same mistakes as she did when she was Pinkie's age.
