Nobles Bleed Blue Blood

1 week later, Ponyville Square

I have fully prepared for my trip to Canterlot, where I shall meet the Princesses and I will probably tell them tales of my past and technology. Even though Luna has seen into my memory cores, she does not have anything but the emotional ones, and not my information memories, so I believe they both will be interested.

"You have all you need? I honestly think you need some form of clothing." Twilight had finally stopped fussing over my choice to not seek clothing from Rarity, who everyone seemed shocked that I had overpowered her stubbornness by telling her exactly what "formal dress" is for a Titan.

"I refuse, since I already am prepared, I have made sure my frame is free of all debris, and is polished." Yesterday I actually had Rarity help me with my polishing procedures, I may have went a little extra than my normal polish for this visit.

"Make sure you don't do anything stupid while I'm not there." Twilight had been monitoring my actions for the past week, making sure I'm fitting in and mingling properly, so of course I have to mock her.

"Trouble? Me? Well, I've never heard such accusations!" I, alongside my current best friend Daring Do, laughed at Twilight, who just huffed and said,

"Well if you get in trouble you're on your own."

"Don't worry Twilight I'll keep him straight." Said Daring with a smile, currently she was in a disguise, a strategy I have seen from celebrities for a long time, her disguise is called A.K. Yearling.

"Of course, Yearling will make sure I bring honor to my Line." Over the course of the week, I had begun teaching Titan history to my student, who will also be travelling with me, but wanted to grab something from Sugarcube Corner, so is not curr-

"Judge you ready!" I stand corrected, she has returned. My student is still in the first stage of my training, which is mostly physical and spiritual, she is making good progress, but couldn't understand Soul magic until she saw it used.

Flashback

"Why is finding my Soul so important? Don't you have other magics more powerful?" Trixie seemed frustrated by not being able to find her Soul and extend it outward, and she seemed to not understand the importance so I decided to demonstrate.

"Trixie, Soul magic is not my strongest magic, however it is a useful tool, and finding your Soul before learning other magics allows you to better control those magics, since manifesting your soul requires you to understand yourself, it will come in time, trust me."

"I understand, could you maybe show me some?" I had decided she could use a little break from meditation so I decided to show her my abilities in the magic of Justice.

"Sure stand behind me and pay close attention, it may help you understand what you're looking for." I summoned my Determination, and converted it to Justice, and summoned my manifestation of Justice, a mighty hammer of blazing gold. Trixie looked up in awe as I swung the hammer launching a tornado of gold fire which quickly went out by my command. In front of her a purple heart beating quickly, her soul resonating with the Perseverance to learn Soul magic.

" Wow! That was amazing!"

"Eventually that could be you, if you wish it, now continue looking, in fact you had a small breakthrough, your Soul of Perseverance showed for a little bit in the presence of my magic."

Flashback End

"I am ready, shall we?" Trixie and Daring let me pick them up as I waved goodbye to Twilight and ignited my jets, flying high into the sky and quickly breaking the sound barrier in the direction of Canterlot Mountain. At Mach 1 the trip would be a few minutes at most, a good stable flight where I will be clearly visible.

Canterlot Airspace

I have entered the airspace of Canterlot and have begun approaching the castle gates, where I intend to enter by foot.

"Hold on, I am going to land at the gates." Both mares nodded and I dropped from the sky about 5 meters out from the gate, behind the entry line for palace grounds and I began to notice guards approaching.

"Halt dragon, what is your business in Canterlot Castle?" I was about to begin but Daring started first.

"All three of us are here to attend day court, Judge here won't harm anypony." Trixie nodded and I said,

"May you allow us passage?" The guards looked to each other and nodded.

"You seem civilized enough, just don't cause any issues. Also no armor allowed unless your in the guard." I growled in annoyance at having to explain this again.

"I am not a dragon, I am a Titan, this is no armor, this is my body." The guard went wide eyed and said "Sorry" and returned to his post. We joined the line of about ten ponies, all seemed of high class, of course, the best rulers get stuck with the worst nobility. My group received stares and I noticed a guard missing from the unit at the gates. After a couple minutes the guard I identified as missing returned with some paper in his magic. The guard handed the note to one of the guards, specifically one that looked to command respect, and read it. After reading it, the guard nodded and said,

"It will be done." To the messenger who nodded and returned to his post. The guard approached my group and said,

"I am under royal orders to escort you through Canterlot, I am Corporal Quick Shot." Quick Shot was a Pegasus with a Dark blue coat and a similar colored mane with black stripes.

"Thank you Corporal, I am Dracochrome Commander Judgement Bias. It would be our pleasure to follow." I said as I threw a salute, which the Corporal returned.

"Follow me, it seems you know what your doing." We followed him through the gates to the palace where Quick Shot expertly began to guide us through a maze of hallways.

"So, I've never heard of the Dracochrome, what is it? A dragon fighting group."

"No, the Dracochrome was a unit of specialized fighters in the military of the first civilization of this planet, my people, the Titans. The Dracochrome was a large spanning, multiverse fighting force, however during the end times a lot of our power was concentrated here on Equus when it was still called Sanctuary." I began to tell the tale of my people to Quick Shot who listened quietly, along with Daring and Trixie filling in some recent details. I don't know why, but I like him quite a bit, he seems like a good soldier. When I reach the end, we conveniently are at the throne room doors where there is a line of about ten ponies waiting to enter Day Court.

"Thank you Corporal, you have work to do I assume, you are free to go." Quick Shot nodded and said,

"Hope to see you again Commander Bias." We saluted each other and he walked back to his post.

"It seems you left a good impression." Trixie said with a smile.

"I try, let's go see the guards." I walk up to the guards who instead of looking up in fear, like normal ponies, they size me up, to see if I am a threat. I begin to greet the guards and I salute.

"Greetings, I am Dracochrome Commander Judgement Bias,I believe the Princesses are expecting me and I am requesting entry." The group in the line begin to yell at my group to get in line, snobs. The guards nodded and the one in front of me said,

"The Solar Guard has been briefed of your kind, you may enter," Then he called to the line of nobles. "Day Court is closed! Please return tomorrow!" The group showed some protest but a glare from the guards silenced them. Then the guards opened the doors for my group to walk through. We entered and my pony friends bowed to Celestia while we exchanged nods.

"It is good to see you again, Blueblood, leave, I have more important matters than your quarrel with Clean Sweep, who will not be punished." The white coated stallion unicorn then had the gall to shout at Celestia.

"No punishment! Auntie, no matter is more important than mine, are you saying this dragon is more important than me, the prince of Equestria?" I observed the situation, I saw a Unicorn mare, sobbing her eyes out on the floor, her arm cut, and Celestia sighing, as if this was normal.

"Blueblood you-" I interrupted Celestia with a roar, startling all the ponies, for the first time here, I was truly angry.

" You dare put yourself above others! You are no Prince! Unhand that mare and leave!"

"And why should I listen to you dragon? You are just a brutish commoner." I unlimbered my cannons causing Trixie and Daring to stand between me and Blueblood.

"You should listen, I have the physical strength to tear this planet apart, cannons which destabilize reality, and control of the Void. Prince Blueblood, you should leave."

"Well I never, fine then dragon, I challenge you to a duel! If I win you leave, and your marefriends will come stay with me." I roared in fury, as my companion’s eyes widened.

"Chose your best army for all I care, if you lose, you will leave the castle, drop your titles, and you will be punished with exile. I accept your challenge, just don't expect mercy. See me at the battlefield in two hours." Blueblood fled the throne room, and I contnued snarling at the thought of disemboweling him. Celestia's mouth hung open in shock that this "prince" would do such a thing. She then regained her composure and sighed, then said.

" Did you have to do that? I've been trying to get rid of him, but not like that." I laughed at that.

"Yes, I could have disemboweled him on the spot."

"Well then, I guess we have a problem on our hands" Daring was frowning at me, she acted like I did something awful.

" Where would the duel take place? I would like to prepare." Celestia told a guard to guide me to the arena and then said,

"I shall go get my sister, she will want to see this." And teleported away. Once again I was in the halls followed by Daring and Trixie, who I decided should take notes on the battle, given I will be using my magic only. I speak to my escort a little, learning his name is Sharp Blade, and about how the normal guard is the police force and general military of Equestria, while the Lunar and Solar guards are more specialized, and were stronger fighters. Eventually we reach the arena, it was of old style, constructed of stone with a basic sand pit, I begin analyzing the structure and exactly how much space is in the area. I then say,

"Daring, Trixie, I apologize for my behavior, however, it is my duty to protect the innocent and that is what I believe I did. Now I believe I shall wait and see what happens." They nod and Trixie says,

"I know that, just kick his flank nice and quick." Then Daring says with a light smile.

"Yeah, I would like to see you fight again." I jump down onto the sands and begin to meditate and exert my magic outwards creating a sphere of influence. I meditate for about 2 hours and hear 20 heat signatures enter the arena.

"So you have heeded my warning, smart but not enough, coward." I knew Blueblood was not on the sands once I opened my eyes and I looked to the stands. Seeing Celestia frowning, Luna with a neutral face, and Blueblood grinning. I release my magic, sending out a pressure field around me. Celestia and Luna then stood and all the ponies bowed.

"Today we have a duel between Prince Blueblood and the Dracochrome commander Judgement Bias, the Titan. If Blueblood loses, then he is to drop all of his titles and wealth and be exiled from Equestria. If Commander Bias is to lose, then he will be forced to leave Equestria, and also his two companions, Trixie and A.K. Yearling will be giving him... Services."
The crowd gasped that Blueblood would have the gall to put up two mares in the stakes of a duel.

"I want to see a clean match," Luna began, "No killing blows, or strikes with intent to deal permanent damage, Commander Bias has requested that Blueblood send multiple fighters against him, so Blueblood has selected 20 ponies to fight in his place... coward." She muttered the last part, but I heard and smiled at her, Celestia then silenced the murmurs of the crowd with a risen hoof.

"Now, fight honorably, begin!" The group charged, various weapons, from swords to bows, were drawn, but I froze them with Soul Magic. I then began the mantra of an old friend, Comic Sans.

"It's a beautiful day outside..." I said in a calm voice, as the air became colder.
"Birds are singing, flowers are blooming..." Flowers began sprouting in the sands and birds from nowhere began singing.
"On days like these..." Black void enveloped the arena, leaving everything black and white, this was the battlespace.
"Kids like you..." In their minds they were pleading for mercy, and the crowd was scared into freezing.
"SHOULD BE BURNING IN HELL!" I roared and my magic released sending lightning through out the battlespace, I fired a blast of fire at three unicorns, taking them out, and the lightning took down ten others. I sent out a burst of magic which sent energy projectiles throughout the battle space. However this was a play, as all the 5 remaining unicorns threw up a shield. They took the bait, so I walked up as the projectiles continued battering against the shield, and cracks began to spread.

"Shield Breaker!" I yelled as I channeled magic into my claws and struck the shield shattering it completely, knocking out the Unicorns. leaving a lone earth stallion. He had a black coat and red mane, and looked to have the worst armor out of all the fighters. I decided to begin asking questions.

"So, why did you join this suicide mission?" I asked him, thoroughly intrigued as to reasoning.

"I needed the bits, I got a family to feed, no job pays enough for my skills." We began circling as we spoke.

"Well, If you surrender I won't put you with a hospital visit." The stallion laughed, as if humored by the though of quitting.

"Don't you understand, if I kill you then my family can live pretty well off, I can finally stop hurting ponies."

"I disagree, let me help you, I can put you on a better path, what is your name?"

"Why does it matter, I'm a bad pony, not worth saving." I laughed and said,

"Do you wish for redemption and would be willing to fight to earn it?" The stallion nodded, and then lunged at me blade swinging. I caught the blade and shattered it.

"Then join me, I shall do my best to guide you on a better path, now why don't we see if nobles bleed blue blood." I winked at him as he stared, but then he smiled and nodded. I turned to Blueblood and disengaged the battlespace.

"Blueblood! Your estate and wealth will go to a family who deserves it. You have 30 seconds to leave, or be terminated."

"No I will not, I am a Prince!" Blueblood protested and I unlimbered my shoulder cannons, pointing them at him.

"25 seconds."

"Auntie! Stop him!" Celestia just sighed, and Luna said,

"Blueblood, if you do not leave as per the conditions of the duel, then Commander Bias is well in his rights to destroy you, as he is not an Equestrian citizen, and follows Dracochrome duel law." Ah yes, the duel law, I remember now, I can actually kill him if he does not fulfill the requirements of the duel. Everypony froze, unable to truly process what their Princess said.

"You have ten seconds." As I said this Blueblood pulled a blade from his suit.

"Die beast!" Everypony gasped as the blade came down, but I grabbed his blade arm.

"I am a Titan, not a beast, you have violated Dracochrome duel law." I pulled his blade from him and stabbed it into his skull,

"Your time has run out." Bluebloods new orifice bled blue blood all over my frame, and I dropped the corpse. I then turned to my final opponent.

"What is your name?"

"Shadestep."

"Well then, Shadestep," I pulled out a spare Dracochrome Private badge that was once mine to wear.

"I am proud to welcome you to the Equestrian Dracochrome Division, Private Shadestep." I handed him the badge and saluted while he just stood there looking at the badge.

"Blueblood's property and wealth is yours, do with it as you wish, I shall return to check up on you sometime," I then boost up to the Princesses platform.

"I apologize, but we must postpone our meeting to some other day, I believe I have overstayed my welcome." I then walk over to Trixie and Daring, who just stared at the corpse of the filth.

"Let's go." I picked them up and blasted off to Ponyville, where I explained what happened, and got yelled at.

"I don't want a murderer in my castle! Leave!" Twilight yelled, tears flowing, I sighed.

"Fine, Trixie, continue trying, you have a direction now. Daring it was good to meet you." Before they could say anything else I ran through the doors and blasted off into space, where I would stand sentinel over my chosen, Trixie and Shadestep. As I thought about what to do.

"I've done it now, I must leave for now." I scan the planet looking for somewhere that might respect what must be done, someone who I can help. My scans come to nothing, no wars, no fighting, just peace. But I get several readings of Void Energy in the Badlands, so I decide to investigate, for now I observe.
