Butterflies are not what they seem...

Monday, Early morning. April 23rd.

The early mornings were always gentle and quiet it can be, as the sounds of bird tweets of different tones steadily kept a beat to make the morning feel even better. Usually, the only ponies that would be up this early would be Applejack and her family, working on their farm as usual but today, a young yellow Pegasus was up. It was strange, as she would normally be sleeping two more hours before she gets up and feeds her animal friends, but today... Today, something about it felt special. She couldn't pass the offer and decided to wake up early today to enjoy the early morning that AJ enjoys. She was preparing herself a pot of herbal tea as she gently rubbed her right eye, trying to keep herself from falling asleep in front of the stove... again.

Her mane was somewhat frizzled, almost bed hair messy as her coat was a mix of smooth and spiky. She reminded herself to take a warm bubble bath after she spend some time watching the sunset rising up, as she heard from AJ it's very romantic and beautiful. Speaking of romantic, she also has a book she needs to return to Twilight today when she goes into town for her daily shopping, so she pray somewhat that she'll remember to actually take the book with her this time, unlike other times she checks out other books. She looked up to the kitchen window, seeing it still showing some of Luna's darkness, as from the edge of the window showed Celestia's light slowly pouring in. The sight wouldn't have much attraction to other ponies, but Fluttershy was already enjoying the mixture of light and darkness, as well as seeing one of her bird friends sleeping peacefully on a branch next to the window.

She was soon snapped out of her what seemed to be an eternal gaze, as the pot whistled loudly, showing that it's done. She turned off the stove, and picked up the tea-pot handle with her mouth, She tried to be careful this time with the pot in mouth, as last time she did this she burnt herself on accident, and wasted her last bit of green herbal tea. She slowly brought it to her small table that she would always sit at whenever she felt happy or depressed about something, and set it gently on the table. She gently trotted back to the kitchen, opening her tea silverware cabinet to reveal a large Canterlot tea set. This was a set that Rarity had bought for her a long time ago, when they first started to become friends, as Rarity always see's Fluttershy accidentally break one of her pots. She would normally always come over to Fluttershy's cottage and have a cup of tea with her, talking about their pasts and more with each other. But now Rarity has been busy for a while, as she started to become more popular around Equestria with her fashion clothing, so Fluttershy would only have a cup of tea for herself.

She gently flapped her wings, hopping not to cause too much noise to wake up her animal friends, especially Angel (He gets very cranky when waken up before his usual time) and hovered up to a small cup to place her tea in. It was patterned with a small butterfly with a dotted trail following it around the cup, same colors as the Butterflies of her Cutie mark. She held it with perfect skill, learning from Rarity's intense training to hold something steady in her mouth and head, as she gently hovered back down to touch the ground. Smiling at her not messing up already, she slowly trotted back to her table and set the cup down. She gently picked up the pot of tea, and slowly poured herself tea into her cup till it almost touched the edges o the cup. Setting it back down, she pulled out the chair silently, and gently sat in it. She took a small sip of her tea as she looked out the large window next to her.

"Wow..." She said, stunned by the beauty she saw through the windows. A beautiful orange sun sat on the edges of the hill tops, letting out colorful rays of light in all direction to the land before it. She never knew Celestia's sun could be this beautiful, and that made her very happy to see such a sight. She gently leaned close to the window, opened half of it to let in the cool morning breeze, making her body tingle a bit from the feeling brushed against her. She could clearly hear the birds chirping a morning beat, making this possibly... The best morning of her life.

She sat back in her seat, taking another small sip as she continued to watch the sunset. After gazing into its beauty, she looked down to her pot, but notice something under it. It was the romantic novel she has to return today, titled 'A lover's tale' by her favourite musician, Octavia. It was a romantic story of how she became what she is today, and how she met somepony special, and that was DJ-Pon3, or Vinyl Scratch. It was full of heart-warming tales, along with humour in it as it shows how two mare's in the music business can still find love, even if their busy with their work. But there were times where they were made fun off, and almost losing their career's from just loving each other, but they proved those ponies wrong, by becoming Equestria's best duet musicians. Fluttershy really did enjoy the novel, along with other romantic books and possibly found herself crying almost a week from it.

She slowly lighted the pot up with her mouth, using her hoof to gently push the book to the side so it won't be used as a pot holder. She slowly got up, taking the book by her mouth, as she silent trotted into the living room, where a certain bunny was sleeping on the couch. The white bunny was covered by one of Fluttershy's old blankets that she had since she was a filly. It had patterns of bunnies on it, so you could say it match Angel well. She trotted over to her saddlebag that hung on the wall, next to her front door as she opened up one of the pouches, sticking the book inside so she'll remember to turn it in. She slowly reclosed the pouch, and trotted back into the living room, to see one of angel small arms hung out, one of them hanging on the edge of the couch. She smiled softly at the sight as she slowly trotted over to him, and gently tucking him in, but that only made the bunny's small eyes open up slowly from disturbance...

"Oh, I'm sorry Angel..." Fluttershy whispered, not wanting to wake up any other animal in the room as Angel's sleepy eyes were fixed on hers, wondering why he was woken up early. "Your arms were hanging out.... So I wanted to tuck you back in... If that's okay with you?" She asked in a whisper, with her shy tone making it sound like a song. Angel only stared at her, either deciding to flick her nose for waking him up or just let her do whatever. Looking at the time, it was already close to his normal waking up time, so he slowly sat up on the couch, rubbing his eyes with his paw's so he can see a bit better. Fluttershy acknowledged this, and guessed it was time for him to get up anyways.

Fluttershy looked at the time as well, seeing it is also almost time for her to take her trip to Ponyville. Remembering her mane and coat was still a mess; she looked back to angel for possible help. "Umm... Angel... Can you please start going around and feed my animal friends as I go take a small bath...?" She asked softly to him, as Angel stood up on the couch, looking up to her. He would normally decline it, but remembering Fluttershy buying carrots that he absolutely loves, he accepted the task, giving a nod to Fluttershy. She smiled as she gave a small nuzzle on the bunny's face. "Thank you, Angel... I promise to give you a big carrot for your hard work...." She said, as the bunny frowned a little from the nuzzle but couldn't resist her cute personality, and his favourite carrot as a reward.

Angel soon hopped off the couch and onto the coffee table in front of it as he heads off to go feed the critters and animals for her master, as Fluttershy slowly trotted to the stairs, going up to her bathroom for a small bubble bath. She entered her clean bathroom, and slowly turned on the warm water in the bathtub, letting it fill up as she looks through her soaps, shampoo's, and other things. She picked up her favourite scented soap, and used it to turn her bath into a bubbly one. As the bathtub filled up, she turned off the pouring water and slowly step inside the bath. Letting a small 'Eeep' at first touched, but she slowly sunk herself almost entirely into the soothing bubble bath.

Taking her time, she slowly started to scrub herself clean, using some of the expensive shampoo that Rarity had bought for her, saying it would make her look 'Fabulous.' She thoroughly cleaned through her light pink mane, making it shine against the rays of Celestia's light that shine through the window above her bath. After finish up scrubbing herself clean, she relaxed into the bath, dipping in till only half her head was visible in the bubble bath. It was very peaceful, as slowly closed her eyes, only seeing darkness and images of her favourite things...

What seem felt like an eternity, she slowly opened her eyes up again, and seeing some of the bubbles gone as her body could be seen through the waters. She sighs as she knew she couldn't be in the bath for too long now, as she has tasks to attend too. She slowly unplugged the bathtub, letting the water slowly swirl away as she slowly climbed out of the bathtub, dripping and soaking wet. Her mane now covering both of her beautiful cyan eyes as she slowly trotted to the towel rack and picked one up, drying herself off with the smooth towel.

After messing with her mane in front of the mirror, fixing it up along with her coat, she slowly trotted out her bathroom and downstairs with a small smile on her face. She sees Angel feeding the last of the bunnies as he noticed Fluttershy coming down the stairs. He hopped to her and looked up into her eyes, possibly trying to tell her his finished feeding her animals. Fluttershy notices it and gently scratched his ear, appreciative for the hard work as she led Angel to the kitchen. She took out one of the carrots from the fridge and gave it to Angel, who snatched it and started to nibble on it like a rabbit would. Fluttershy looked up to the time and sighed, seeing she was a little behind schedule. She trotted over to the door, followed by Angel, as she puts on her saddlebag and slowly opened the door.

"I'm going to head into town now, okay?" She said to Angel, who nodded as he continued to nibble his carrot. "I'll be back soon, Angel. Take care of the house for me, please?" She said, not waiting for an answer as she slowly trotted out of the door, closing the door behind her as she gently started to stroll down the path, and head to Ponyville...
