Sunrise Freezer:A hero is born, Volume 4: the adventure of Sombra in EG.

[One Month before Sunrise and the Mane 7 battle]

Sombra, the Fallen king, open the eyes. He is shortly blind by the sunlight, and in the middle of a park.

“Where am i?, why i am here? Said Sombra, actually weakened

He rise up on is legs and fall on his knees. He look at his body and see he have hands, legs, feet, clothes, arms, and fingers. He have a grey skin, black hairs, fancy clothes, fancy boots and gloves and no evil green eyes.

“I am a human? How this is possible?” he said

Sombra try to remember why he is here and how, but he can’t.

”My memory.... It’s strange, i know my name, but is the only thing i remember.” thought Sombra.

Sombra look around him, he see other humans walking on their legs and some strange metal moving objects on the road. He try to stand, many times, but he succeed after ten attempts. Walking was way more hard to learn, but after 15 minutes of attempts, he learnt how to walk on two legs.

“Finally! He said. But now, i have to learn more information of that place, i hope this place have a library...”

Sombra ask a citizen to get to location of the library, this one give to him a map of the town.

”Map of Canterlot City. Hum, this name, sound familiar to me.” thought Sombra

With the map, he made his way to the library. He enter and take many books talking of History, Geography, Sports, Entertainment, Biology, Technology and Human physiology. He pass the entire day to read.

“We close in 5 minutes” said the librarian.

She look at Sombra, who apparently have not finished to read the books.

“You can borrow these book, if you want, the only thing you need his a library card, she said. This is your first time here, no? I can make you a card in 5 minutes! I only need your name.”

“My name is Sombra,” he said.

She’s goes in her office, and come back a few minutes later.

“This is your card.. You can borrow to 10 books at once, but you have to give them back in one month. I wish you a good evening!” she said to him.

Sombra leaves the library and see it was night.

“Now, i have to find a place to sleep... I know now this is a alternative world to Equestria, and those metal thing with wheels are cars.” He said to himself.

After a whole hour walking in the town, he decide to rest on a bench in the park. He quickly fall asleep, but stay alerted.
Many hours later, he woke up, and stretch his body.

”Today, i have to find what they call a «job» and earn money.” he thought

Sombra find and grab a random newspaper carried by the wind. He read it and find a page with job offers and find after 5 minutes a interresting job.

“«The Crystal PREP search a Vice principal..» said Sombra. This Crystal school, i dont know why, seem familiar to me.”

He read the article and take note of the phone number.

“Now, i have to find a phone...” he said

He find a phone cabin. But he see that he have to put 25 cents for a call...

”Damn it!!, why everything in this town cost something!!?” he yelled in his head.

Luckily for him, Sombra find a 25 cent coin forgotten on the ground. He take it and enter the phone number. The call was sent on the office voicemail.

“Crap, look i have to do it directly.” he said.

Sombra walk in direction of Crystal PREP. After 2 hours, he reach it, and enter in the school. He walk randomly in it, and finally find the Principal’s office. Sombra knock at the door. A beautiful pink colored skin woman, with bright yellow, purple and magenta hairs open it.

“Who is it?” she said

She see Sombra, standing in front of her, in a chic costume (luckily, in this world, he wore quality clothes).

“I am here for the job, he said. When i saw your announce in the newspaper, i was immediately interested. I sent to your office a call two or three hours ago.”

“Oh sorry, i just opened the school one hour ago, said the woman. What is your name?

“Oh, my name is Sombra.. And you?” he asked

“My name is Cadance, but everyone call me Dean Cadance.” she answer.

This name sounded familiar to Sombra... Like he have already saw her in the past. Some of his memories come back; He remember heard her calling him «King Sombra».

“Come take a chair and let’s discuss about that” she said.

Sombra sit on the chair and look at Cadance. She face him, take a paper and a pencil, and sit.

“What are you qualifications?” she said.

“Hum.. I was born for rule and command. I have a lot of experience in this domains. My memory is blurred...but i know i have been a ruler for years..” he answered.

“What do you mean by Blurred? Tell me more.” she said

“I remember ruling a place, and be called King Sombra...but not in this city, in this world..

“King?, this world? You talk like if you came for another world.” she said

She remember the Friendship games, and heard from the Human Twilight magic coming from a place named Equestria, where Sunset Shimmer and princess Twilight Sparkle are from. Cadance deduced that he came from Equestria.

“I believe you...she said. After all, i saw half pony magic girls, rainbow lasers, plant monsters, and magic blasts. You were a king, you said?”

“Yes, i ruled a kingdom made of crystals.” he said.

“You were a good King or an evil king?” she asked

“I don’t know..I remember being a king, but not what kind...Also, i remember saw you in the past... In the form of a pony, people called you «Princess Cadance».” he answered

“You mean in this other world, i am a Princess? Tell me more.” she said.

Sombra think and search in his memories. He see a stallion beside her; white, with a blue and white mane and a armor, and a little filly.

“This is all i remember... Sorry... But this is out of the subject...” said the fallen king.

“Oh, sure, let my explain what is the job of Vice Principal...” she said.

She took 30 minutes to explain.

“This is all you have to know about the job, do you think you have what it need for it?” said Cadance.

“Hum... Yes?” answered Sombra.

“Perfect! You are hired!!” said the Principal.
