When people think of elves, witches, werewolves, vampires, etc they tend to think of fiction and fantasy. At least that's what Limber Leo thought before transferring to Yin Yang High following the murder of his mother and mauling of his father at the hands of some sort of big cat. However Leo finds out that the collective opinion on magical creatures being nothing but fairytales when he sees several students morph and transform into inhuman beings.

After coming to terms with this reality shatter Leo starts thinking that the strange events, odd dreams, cats surrounding him like some sort of deity and supposed hallucinations that he has been experiencing might not all be what he thinks it is as more clues about what he is appear. Meanwhile, a gang and their new leader make it their mission to not only stop Leo from finding out what he truly is but to also get revenger for the death of their leader.
