Chapters Thorax was running away from the Royal guards. But then he saw one in front of him, so he turned left into the alley making the guards crash into each other, he then jumped over a stallion and climbed over the poles of the houses then down to the ground. He then saw the mare in a house closing a window .
Thorax: Gotta keep, one jump ahead of the breadline. One swing ahead of the sword. I steal only what I can't afford. And that's everything. One jump ahead of the royal guards. That's all and that's no joke. These guys don't appreciate I'm broke.
Royal guards: Riff raff! Street rat! Scoundrel!
Thorax: Take that!
Thorax grabs a knife and stands on a wagon.
Thorax: Try a different tack, guys.
Then Thorax cut a rope next to him with the knife, and a three large barrels containing juices fell on the front of the wagon, launching Thorax up the second floor of the building.
Royal guards: Rip him open! Round the back guys!
Thorax: I can take a hint gotta face the facts. Could really use a friend or two!
When Thorax leaned on a door, he tumbled into a room with harem mares.
Harem mares: It's sad Thorax's hit the bottom.
Thorax: Ooh, mares!
Then Thorax stood up and the mares stood with him.
Harem mares: He's become a one-stallion rise in crime.
Thorax: Well...
Then the harem manager mare approached him with a stick and attempted to hit him with it.
Mare: I'd blame parent's 'Cept he hasn't got' em.
Thorax: Gotta eat to live, gotta steal to eat. Tell you all about it when I got the time.
Then Thorax jumped out of the window and a stallion royal guard tried to grab him but he missed and fell to the ground. And Thorax bounced off an Umbrella stand on the side of a house and back inside, then he stood behind a royal pegasus guard and he was looking around for him. Then Thorax reached down for his keys and he successfully grabbed them. When the royal guard looked down, he saw that the key was gone, and when he turned back he saw Thorax holding the key in front of him. He attempted to grab it, but Thorax jumped off the building and bounced to the ground.
"There are stairs, you know." Said the mare. Then the royal guards came down and Thorax grabbed the mares hoof and walked.
"Where's the fun in that?" He asked her.
Thorax: One jump, ahead of the slowpokes. One skip ahead of my doom. Next time gonna use a nom de plume.
Thorax grabbed onto a moving wagon with the mare, and she gasped.
Thorax: One jump ahead of the guards. One hit ahead of the flock. I think I'll take a stroll around the block.
When Thorax saw more royal guards in front of him. He grabbed the mare's hoof again and got off the wagon, and kept running.
Royal guards: Stop thief!
Then Thorax pulled down a wood, blocking the guards path.
Mare merchant: Vandal!
Thorax: Abu!
Stallion merchant: Scandal!
Thorax: Let's not be too hasty.
Then Thorax and the mare walked up the stairs onto a roof of a house, and the royal guards tried to chase them, but a mare blocked their path.
Mare: Still, I think he's rather tasty.
Thorax: Gotta eat to live, gotta steal to eat. Otherwise we'd get along.
Royal guards: Wrong!
There were two royal guards on a wooden scaffold, then Thorax approached the wooden scaffold and pushed it making it and the royal guards fall on the ground, leaving a pack of dust in the town.
"Together on three!" Thorax told the mare.
"Together on three?" The mare asked looking at him.
"We jump." He told her.
"We jump?"
"Why are you repeating everything I say?" He asked chuckling.
"The pole." He told her.
Then Thorax ran and jumped over to another roof of a building, but the mare didn't, she was holding onto the pole.
Thorax looked at the mare.
"I'm sorry!"
Then Thorax climbed onto the roof of the house he was on.
"I can't do this." Said the mare as she looked down, and she saw lot of royal guards running towards her.
Then Thorax sat on the roof of the house.
"Look at me. Look at me. You can do this."
The mare took a deep breath and a few steps back. But then the royal guards was near her, so she ran and grabbed the pole.
"Ahhhh!" Then Thorax caught her and she sat on his lap.
"Nicely done." He told her.
"Thank you." She said.
Then they continued running away from the guards.
Thorax: One jump, ahead of the hoofbeats. One hop ahead of the hump. One trick ahead of disaster. They're quick, but I'm much faster. Here goes. Better throw my hoof in. Wish me happy landing. All I gotta do is jump!
Thorax grabbed a carpet and a rope and swinger down. And the carpet fell down into a shop releasing thinks of dust. Then the guards looked down and saw that Thorax wasn't there. They must assume that he must've fell on the ground. Then the guards went to the location of the wreckage.
The mare and Abu came out of their hiding place and looked down, they were a bit worried about Thorax. But then they saw him climbing up the building, and the mare sighed in relief from seeing him okay.
"Come on. I know somewhere we'll be safe." Said Thorax.

The dungeon and Thorax's home
Inside Canterlot dungeon
There was a dark stallion unicorn named Sombra walking in the dungeon with a staff in his right hoof.
His small dragon pet Garble flew on a tiny cage.
"Here comes the master." Said Garble.
A stallion guard looked in front of him and saw Sombra. He sniffed the two stallions standing next to him in hoof cuffs, but he found nothing.
"You bring me the rough but never a diamond." Said Sombra.
The guard was a little nervous.
"Take them away." Said Sombra.
"Take them away." Said Garble.
"Move!" Said a guard as he pushed the stallions into their cells.
The guard gulped "My vizier, perhaps this diamond in the rough does not exist?" He suggested.
"He is out there." Said Sombra.
"But we've searched for months! I do not understand what could possibly be in that cave, that could help a stallion as great as you. You are already second only to sultan." Said the guard nervously.
"Second! Uh oh!" Said Garble.
Sombra turned around when he heard the guard say second.
"Who's in trouble now?" Said Garble.
"And you think second is enough?" Asked Sombra.
"Of course. You were not born to be a sultan."
The Sombra's eyes widened in anger.
"Not smart. Do you know what I had to do to get the power that I have?" He asked him, but he shook his head.
"The sacrifices that I have made, the bodies that I've burned?" Said Sombra, then he began approaching him and the stallion backed away slowly.
"The five years spent in the Crystal Empire jail? Ponies, need to understand that they will pay for underestimating me. Second is not enough! And it will never be enough! That's why I need the lamp, and why I no longer need you!" Said Sombra, then he pushed the stallion guard down the well.
"Ahhhhh!"
Canterlot
Thorax was bringing the mare to his home. He observed his surroundings and saw that the guards were not chasing them anymore.
"This way." Said Thorax.
Then they reached a wall.
"Oh. Where are we, exactly?" The mare asked.
"You'll see."
Then Thorax climbed onto a rope with Abu, and it made an activation noise, and long wooden steps came out of the side of a house which gave her a surprised expression.
"Oh, my." She gasped "Is this... Is this where you live?" She asked climbing up the steps.
"Yep." He told her. "Just me and Abu. Come and go as we please." He finished, as he and the mare walked through the door to his home.
After walking up some stairs, they made it to his home.
"Welcome to my humble... you'll see." Said Thorax as he turned a crank on the side and a large wooden roof was pulled up with green curtains.
The mare was truly amazed at his skills.
"You are quite the magician." Said the mare.
"Thank you." Said Thorax.
Then Thorax saw Abu putting his food in his small box "Abu, no, help!"
The mare walked up to the balcony of his home and saw a beautiful view of Canterlot.
"I can't believe..."
"What?" He asked.
The mare turned around and said "I can't believe we did that. That I did that. That we're alive! With the chase."
"Abu, tea?" Thorax asked looking down at him, but he slept on a pillow.
"Jumping buildings. That was incredible." The mare finished.
"Tea?" Thorax asked.
"Thank you. And thank you for getting me out of there. Thorax, isn't it?" She asked.
"You're welcome... uh."
"I'm... I'm Starlight."
"From the palace?" He assumed.
"How could you tell?" She asked.
"Well, only somepony from the palace could afford a bracelet like that. And that silk lining is imported too. It comes from the merchant boats, straight to the palace. But not to servants. At least, not most servants. Which means you are a hoofmaid to the princess." He said.
The mare was impressed that he knows all of that.
"Impressive." She said.
"You think that's impressive, you should see the kingdom from up there." He said pointing to an upstairs in his home, and Starlight turned around and looked at it. Then she walked up the stairs, and Thorax began making tea.
Once Starlight was up the second floor, she looked out of the window and saw the beautiful kingdom.
"Canterlot. It's so beautiful. I should get out more." She said.
"You should tell the princess to get out more." Said Thorax pouring tea into a cup. "The ponies haven't seen her in years." He finished.
"They won't let her." Starlight told him. "Ever since my... The queen was killed, the sultan's been afraid. So she's kept locked away."
"Seems everyponies been afraid since then. But the ponies of Canterlot had nothing to do with that. The ponies loved her." He said as he finished pouring tea into another cup.
"They did, didn't they?" She asked, then she accidentally made one of his stuffs fall on the ground which woke up Abu.
"Is this yours?" She asked holding the guitar.
"It's kind of borrowed." He chuckled, then he turned around.
Then Starlight played the guitar which caught Thorax's attention, he turned around and watched her play.
"My mother taught me that song." He said.
"Mine too." She told him.
"It's all I remember of her."
Then Starlight placed the guitar on the floor.
"And what about your father?" She asked.
"I lost them both when I was young.Been on my own ever since."
Starlight felt sorry for him.
Then Thorax walked up the stairs to her with the tea cups in his hoof.
"It's alright. It's just..."
"What?"
"It's a little sad. Having a monkey is the only parental authority in your life." He replied to her.
That made Starlight giggle.
Then a fly flew near Abu and he tried to grab it.
"We get by. Everyday I just think things will be different, but it never seems to change. It's just sometimes, I feel like I'm."
"Trapped." Starlight said.
The two of them were silent for a moment.
"Like you can't escape what you were born into?" She asked.
"Yes." He said as he nodded.
Then they heard a sound of a blow horn in the distance. And when they looked they saw a ship and four boats.
"Welcome Prince Bluehood!"
Starlight turned around and looked at Thorax and said "I have to get back to the palace." She said as she walked past him.
"Now?" He asked looking at her.

One step ahead reprise and speechless
Thorax and Starlight went to the palace and they saw stallion guards, ponies playing drums and Prince Bluehood in a carriage.
"Make way for Prince Bluehood!" Said a Stallion.
"It's just another Prince coming to court the princess." Said Thorax.
"Yes, and I have to get her ready." Said Starlight.
"Oh! Do you have my bracelet?" She asked.
"Sure." Said Thorax searching in his satchel, but the bracelet wasn't there.
"I'm sure I put it in here. Somewhere." Said Thorax, then Abu got off his head and began searching for it as well "Abu, did you take it?" He asked him, but he scratched his head.
"That was my mother's bracelet." Said Starlight sadly.
Then Thorax looked at her.
"Yes. It's beautiful." Thorax told her.
"You are a thief." Said Starlight.
"No,no. Yes but..."
"I'm so naive." Said Starlight walking into the palace.
"Wait, wait, wait! Wait, it's not like that!" Said Thorax trying to follow her, but she disappeared into the crowd.
"clear the way!" Yelled a stallion guard.
"Street rat, get out of the way!" Said the guard.
"Who do you think you're calling a street rat?" Thorax asked glaring at him.
"Are you talking back to me?" The guard asked with an angry expression "You were born worthless and you will die worthless. And only your fleas will mourn you." Said the guard, then he walked away.
Then Abu climbed on Thorax's shoulder.
"Come on Abu. Let's go home." Said Thorax turning around and walking back home.
In Thorax's home
Thorax came back to his home and remembered the horrible names the guards called him.
Thorax: Riffraff, street rat. I don't buy that. If only they'd look closer. Would they see a poor changeling colt. No,siree. They'd find out. There's so much more to me.
Then Abu came down and showed him the bracelet which belonged to Starlight. He sighed and grabbed it.
"Abu. There's a time we do steal, and a time we don't. This was definitely a don't." He told him.
Then Abu climbed up the green curtain.
Inside the castle
The sultan Nightlight was welcoming Prince Bluehood, and Sombra was next to him.
"Welcome, Prince Bluehood! We trust you had an enjoyable journey." Said Nightlight, then the large doors behind him opened, and they saw princess Twilight in a purple dress, whith a crown on her head and behind her horn. Her wings were covered by her dress. Then she walked down the stairs with a purple dragon and Starlight, and Bluehood was stunned by her appearance.
"Prince Bluehood, this is my daughter, Princess Twilight Sparkle." Said Nightlight.
"So, why did nopony tell me about your beauty?" He asked.
"Nopony mentioned yours, either." Said Twilight in a soft voice.
Bluehood chuckled and said "Thank you. They say that in the Crystal Empire. Yeah, right?" He asked the guards behind him and they laughed as well "It's very, very amusing."
"Is it?" She asked.
"Yeah."
"We have the same title, yet are never described the same way." She said.
"Twilight." Said Nightlight looking at his daughter, she looked at him for a second then turned back to Bluehood.
"Yeah." Said Bluehood.
Then he noticed the dragon next to her.
"What is that?" Bluehood asked looking at the dragon.
Twilight tried to say something but Bluehood said "Don't tell me. It's a baby dragon!" He chuckled.
"He likes you." Said Garble.
"I know. Cause in the Crystal Empire, dragons love me." Then he began petting him "Here,little dragon. Hey little dragon." Then the dragon bit him.
"Ahhh!" Yelled Bluehood.
Canterlot 10:00pm
Sombra was in the meeting room with Nightlight talking about their enemies.
"My sultan, our enemies grow stringer everyday, yet you allow your daughter to dismiss Prince Bluehood and a possible military alliance." Said Sombra.
"Which enemies?" Nightlight asked.
"Fillydelphia continued to amass." He told him.
"Fillydelphia is our ally.-"
"Was our ally!"
"You would drag us into a war with our oldest-"
"And you would allow you kingdom to sink into ruin for mere sentiment!" He yelled.
"Sombra!"
When Sombra heard him yell at him he immediately closed his mouth.
"Remember you place." Said Nightlight.
Sombra was silent for a moment, then he spoke.
"I apologize" Then he began walking to the exit of the meeting room "Forgive me my sultan. I went to far." When he got to the exit he turned around.
"But." Said Sombra, his scepter was glowing red "You would only reconsider." Then his voice became deeper "I think you will see... that invading Fillydelphia is the right thing to do."
Then Nightlight got hypnotized by the scepter.
"Invading... Fillydelphia... is."
Sombra's scepter immediately turned off when it immediately heard the Princess.
"Invade Fillydelphia?" Twilight asked walking into the room.
"Why would we invade our mother's kingdom?" She asked.
But Sombra decided to keep quiet.
"We would never invade Fillydelphia." Said Nightlight.
"But an ally in the Crystal Empire would improve our situation." Sombra suggested.
"Yes, if you consider giving Prince Bluehood a chance." Nightlight told her daughter.
"To rule? Dad, Spike would make a better ruler." She said.
"My dear, I'm not getting any younger We must find you a husband, and we are running out of kingdoms." He chuckled.
"What foreign prince could care for our ponies as I do?" She asked "I could lead if only..."
"My dear, you cannot be a sultan. Because it has never been done before in the 1000 year history of our kingdom."
Twilight gasped and said "I have been preparing for this my whole life. I have read-"
"Book?" Sombra asked "But you cannot read experience. Inexperience is dangerous. Ponies left unchecked will revolt. Walls and borders unguarded will be attacked." He said.
"Sombra is right. One day, you will understand." Said Nightlight.
Twilight looked at Sombra and her dad for a while, she tried to talk but she didn't had anything in her mind.
"You may leave now." Said Nightlight.
Twilight sighed and left the meeting room with her dragon pet following her.
Outside of the meeting room, Twilight was breathing heavily, and Sombra exited the meeting room and stood behind her, and Spike looked at him with a scared face.
"Life will be kinder to you, Princess." He told her "Once you accept these traditions and understand, it's better for you to be seen and not heard." He finished walking near her. But then Spike growled at him and he walked away.
After that, Twilight went into her room and closed the doors behind her.
Twilight Sparkle: Here comes a wave meant to wash me away. A tide that it taking me under. Broken again left with nothing to say. My voice drowned out in the thunder. But I can't cry. And I can start to crumble. Whenever they try to shut me or cut me down. I can't stay silent. Though they wanna keep me quiet. And I tremble when they try it. All I know is I won't go speechless.
After that Twilight sta on a couch on her balcony.

Thorax visits the Princess
Canterlot 9:45pm
During the night in Canterlot. There were many ponies finished doing their works, and a Stallion was doing a fire show which amazed a lot of ponies, including Thorax and Abu.
"Splendid!" Said the ponies.
"You know what to do, Abu." Said Thorax as Abu climbed down from his head.
Abu ran up and distracted a royal guard who was guarding the front gate.
"Get off me! Get off me, you dirty monkey!" Said the guard trying to kick him away.
Then Thorax stole a stallion coat and went inside the palace with Abu.
"Close the gate!" Said a guard.
Garble saw everything on the roof.
"Dirty monkey!" Said Garble as he flew to his master's library. "Street thief. Street thief."
Inside Sombra's library
Sombra was taking off his hat, and remembering what Nightlight said to him.
"Remember your place, Sombra." He said to himself.
"Remember your place!" Said Garble.
"If I hear that one more time." Said Sombra glaring at him.
Garble then covered himself with his wings in fear.
"Sorry, master."
"Another petty insult from that small-minded fool." Said Sombra as he walked down the stairs further into his library, and Garble was following him.
"He sees a city where I see an empire."
"Such vision." Said Garble.
"once that lamp sits in my hoof." Said Sombra as he took a deep breath and released "Then I shall sit on his throne." He finished.
"Thief. Thief in the palace." Garble told him.
"Thief in the palace?" Sombra asked raising an eyebrow.
"That's what I said. Thief!"
"What have you seen, Garble?" Sombra asked walking up to him.
"Diamond in the rough." He replied.
On the palaces roof
Thorax was running and parkouring on the palaces roof to get to return the bracelet to Starlight, and Sombra saw him from his library.
Thorax jumped down on a level of a castle which made a 'thump!' noise as he landed, then he hid behind a pillar. The two royal guards got attracted by the noise, so they turned around but eventually they saw nothing, and they resumed their patrol.
Then Thorax entered a room and saw five stallions in the room cleaning it.
"I told you, now, come on! Bigger circles. Bigger circles."
Then Thorax grabbed a coat from a chair and proceeded to find Starlight, and Sombra was watching him while holding his staff and Garble on his head. And they saw the stallion changeling holding a tray with a tea pot and tea leaves.
"Who's a clever colt?" Asked Garble as he flew off Sombra's head. Then Sombra reentered the way he came through.
Twilight's bedroom
"But Starlight, there has to be something I can do." Said Twilight.
"A handsome prince wants to marry you. When will life get easier?" Starlight asked doing Twilight's hair.
"It's not that I don't want to marry, it's just..."
"You want to be sultan. But why?" Starlight asked as she finished doing Twilight's hair.
Twilight turned around and looked at her.
"Do you remember my mother used to say we would only ever be as happy as our least happy subject?" Twilight asked her.
"If she saw what I saw today, she would be heartbroken." She told her.
"She would also want you to be safe." Starlight told her "And clean. I'll draw the bath." Starlight reminded as she went to Twilight's bathroom.
"Sombra's guard on every corner. Soon, he'd have them invading our neighbors, risking lives, for what?" Twilight asked, but Starlight didn't replied to her, she kept walking to her bathroom.
"I can help." Said Twilight as she turned around "I know I can. I was born to do more than marry some useless prince."
"If you had to marry a useless prince, you could certainly do worse than this one." Starlight told her "He's tall and handsome. And yes, he's a little dim, but you're just getting married. It's not like you have to talk to him."
Twilight gave an irritated look at Starlight when she heard that.
"But you'd prefer that stallion changeling from the market." Said Starlight as she went to her bathroom, and Twilight rolled her eyes.
Then she heard a knocking from her bedroom door. So she walked up to her door and opened it, and she saw a stallion who had his back facing against her.
"Can I help you?" She asked the stallion.
Then the stallion turned around and Twilight quickly recognized that it was Thorax. And she had her eyes wide opened in shock.
"Tea?" Thorax asked showing her the tray with teas.
"You? You! What are you doing here? Get in here." Said Twilight pulling him in her room.
"I came back to return your bracelet." He told her.
"My bracelet? Where is it?" She asked him.
"On your hoof."
"What?" Twilight asked looking down at her hooves, and she saw her bracelet on her left hoof.
"Not bad." Said Thorax amazed at Twilight's large bedroom "I like what she's done with the place." He finished.
"How did you get past the guards?" Twilight asked him.
Thorax turned around and looked at her
"That was challenging, but I have my ways." He told her.
Twilight was truly amazed at his skills.
"While the princess is out, would you like to go for a stroll? Have a little chat?" Thorax asked her hoping that she will say yes.
"You are unbelievable." Said Twilight amazed. "You cannot just break into a palace and walk around like you own the place." She told him.
"If you don't have anything, you have to act like you own everything." He told her, then he asked her out for a walk again "So, what do you say? I did find your bracelet."
"You did not find it, you stole it!" She corrected him.
"Correction, the monkey stole it." Thorax corrected her as well.
"He's your monkey." Said Twilight.
"He's still just a monkey."
"Who ordered the tea?"
The two of them turned around and saw Starlight, but to Thorax he saw a light purple mare with violet hair.
"Uh..."
"I did." Said Twilight. "For you, Princess Twilight." She said, and Starlight gave her a confused look.
Then Twilight told her to pretended that she was her.
"Your Majesty!" Said Thorax taking a bow.
"Why are you being weird?" Starlight asked Twilight.
Then Thorax looked at Twilight, and she stopped doing what she did and smiled at him and he smiled back.
Then Twilight gave Starlight a hoof action and told her to pretended that she was her, and Starlight understood what she wanted him to do.
"I'm the princess. Yes. And it is good to be me with all my palaces and wagons of gold things, and dresses for every hour of the day. Now it's time for my dragon to be cleaned." Said Starlight as she returned to the bathroom.
Thorax had a confused look from that, then he looked at Twilight.
"She doesn't get out much." She said.
"mhmm. Clearly." Said Thorax putting the tray of teas he was holding on a table. Then he noticed a small dragon growling at him.
"Aren't you supposed to be in the bath?" Thorax asked nervously.
Then Spike sniffed his cloth his stole.
"Servant mare, this dragon isn't going to clean itself!" Starlight told Twilight.
"But don't dragons hate baths?" Thorax asked.
"You have to go now." Said Twilight grabbing Thorax's hoof and pulled him to the exit of her bedroom.
Thorax shrugged and said "Okay. But I'm coming back tomorrow night." He told her.
"What? No, you can't."
"Meet me in the courtyard beside the fountain when the moon is above the minaret." He said, then he took her hair band.
"To return this." Said Thorax, then he pushed her hair to the side a little.
"I promise." He told her, then he pulled the door opened and left her room. And Twilight smiled.

Thorax took off the costume on him, and Abu climbed on his back.
Thorax was walking to the exit happily with the princesses golden hair band in his left hoof.
"Can you believe it, Abu? The most heavily guarded place in all of Canterlot..." Thorax was soon cut off when a white unicorn stallion guard stood in front of him.
"Evening." Said the guard.
"Evening." Said Thorax.
Then two royal guards approached behind them, and Abu looked at them.
Thorax felt that the guards are behind him.
"Guards are behind me." He said.
Then Thorax slowly turned around and faced them.
"Hello,boys." Said Thorax.
In the desert
The guards were on camels, bringing Thorax to Sombra.
Once they got there, a guard placed him off the camel and on a rock next to Sombra and took off the bag covering his face. Then the guards walked away, and Thorax looked around the desert.
"Where am I?" He asked?
"In a world of trouble, Mr stallion." Said Sombra.
Then Abu gave him his hat, he grabbed it and he wore it.
"That bracelet, is that what this is about?" He asked. "Because I didn't steal it. The hoofmaid..."
"What was a hoofmaid doing wearing the queen's bracelet?" Sombra asked him.
"The queen? No, no. She said that it belonged to her..."
"Mother."
Thorax had a shocked expression when he heard the dark unicorn stallion said that the bracelet that the hoofmaid was wearing belonged to her mother.
"Well, at least she told the truth about one thing."
"Are you saying that was the princess?" He asked the unicorn, but he didn't reply.
"I was talking to the..."
"She was toying with you." Sombra told him "It amuses her to meet commoners."
Then Thorax reached into his satchel and grabbed the princesses golden hair band.
"Do you think she liked you?" Asked Sombra.
"What do they call you?" Sombra asked again.
"Thorax." He told him.
"Thorax. Ponies like us must be realistic if-"
"Us? I'm a changeling." He said.
"You see, I was once like you." Said Sombra raising his hoof and he had the golden hair band in his left hoof.
Thorax checked his satchel and saw that the hair band on him was indeed stolen by him.
"A common thief." Said Sombra as he extended his hoof out to him for him to take the hair band. Then Thorax grabbed it and placed it in his satchel again.
"Only I thought bigger. Steal an apple and your a thief, steal a kingdom and your a statespony or statesling, I think that's how you say that." He chuckled.
Then he talked again.
"Only weak ponies stop there. You're either the most powerful stallion in the room, or you're nothing. You, you stumbled upon an opportunity. I can make you rich. Rich enough to impress a princess. But nothing comes for free." He told him.
Then Thorax looked back at the hair band in his satchel and looked back at the unicorn.
"What would I have to do?" He asked him.
Then Thorax, the guards and Sombra rode their camels to a cave.
"There's a cave nearby. And in it, a simple oil lamp." He told him "Retrieve it for me and I will make you wealthy enough to impress a princess. You're nothing to her, but you could be. Your life begins now, Thorax.
Back in the castle
Twilight was waiting for Thorax near the place he said he would meet her.
Then Starlight walked up to her.
"Still waiting?" She asked.
"No. No, I came out to..." Said Twilight trying to say something else to get out of the situation, but she had nothing in her mind, so she sighed in defeat and said "He promised."
"I'll be upstairs if you need me." Said Starlight going back into the castle.
"Good night, Starlight."
Back to Thorax, Sombra and the guards
Back in the desert, Thorax, the guards and Sombra were standing in front of a cave which looked like a manticore.
"The Cave of Wonders." Said Sombra. "When you enter, you will see more riches than you ever dreamed off, gold, diamonds, and the lamp. Bring it to me and I will make you rich and free." He said. "But take no other treasure no matter how sorely you are tempted." He warned him.
Then Thorax took a deep breath and walked to the cave entrance.
"And you will be tempted." Said Sombra.
When Thorax got close to the cave, it began glowing, which made Thorax step back a little.
"Only one may enter here. One whose worth lies far within. The diamond in the rough." Said a dark and scary voice.
"Remember." Said Sombra, then Thorax turned around and looked at him.
"Take nothing but the lamp."
Then Thorax turned back around and walked into the cave, but then he slid down the sand and onto a rock. And he coughed.
Then Thorax looked behind him, he saw a couple of rock pillars to across, he got up and began jumping and climbing over them.
When they were walking on one of the pillars, Abu saw some shiny jewels, he tried to grab it but Thorax stopped him.
"Abu, don't touch. Remember?" Said Thorax as he picked up Abu and placed him on his back.
While Thorax was walking in the cave, he saw loads of jewels and diamonds which caught his attention, he then stopped by a golden necklace and tried to grab it, but he was stopped when Abu hit him in the face.
Thorax snapped out of it and continued walking in the cave, and when he entered another one, he saw lots of gold, diamonds and many other treasure. When he looked up, he saw the golden oil lamp that he needed to get for Sombra.
"Alright, let's do this." Said Thorax walking towards the oil lamp.

Meeting a magic carpet and cave collapsing
Inside the cave
Thorax was walking in the cave full of treasures. Abu got off Thorax's back and looked at the treasures, then he tripped over on one of them making him jump on Thorax and he fell on something sharp.
He got off the soft object and looked behind him and saw a moving carpet. It had a rock laying on his back, he tried to squeeze free but the rock was just to heavy.
Then Thorax looked at the carpet.
"Abu. This is a magic carpet. These really do exist. Hello magic carpet." Said Thorax shaking it's edge. The carpet said hello to Abu by tickling him with his edge, and he laughed.
"Let's see what we can do about your situation here." Said Thorax as he moved to the rock and began lifting it. after three seconds, Thorax successfully removed the rock from the carpet' s back and it flew. Then it came back to Thorax and hugged him.
"Okay." Said Thorax looking at it "Don't mention it."
Abu was going to grab another treasure but Thorax stopped him again.
"Abu, keep your little monkey hands to yourself." He told him.
Abu listened to what he said and sat down.
Thorax turned around and proceeded to grab the oil lamp . He climbed the stone pillars and once he got to the taller one, he climbed it as well.
But then he accidentally stepped on a red diamond and he lost his grip on his right hoof, and the red diamond fell to the ground. When Abu saw Thorax nearly falling he covered his eyes.
Thorax managed to get his right hoof onto the pillar again.
The red diamond landed in front of Abu, and his eyes sparkled with interest.
After 3 seconds, Thorax managed to climb on the top of the large pillar and to the oil lamp, then he grabbed it and nothing happened.
But, Abu grabbed the diamond in his hand, and the cave began shaking.
"Abu, No!" Yelled Thorax.
"You have touched the forbidden treasure. Now you will never again see the light of day!" The dark and scary voice yelled. Then lava began pouring inside the cave.
When the lava flow reached the pillar that Thorax was holding onto, it pushed it and it was going to collapse. He slid down the pillar and began parkouring on the other ones, then he jumped to safety and began running away from the lava flow.
"Carpet!" Yelled Thorax as he jumped.
The carpet flew down towards him and caught him and Thorax was riding him.
"Abu, jump!"
Abu had to wait for the carpet to fly close towards him. And when it got close to him, he jumped and Thorax caught him, and they flew to the exit of the cave while dodging derbies.
But a large rock hit the carpet and Thorax and Abu got launched to the stone wall near the exit. Then he began climbing up and Sombra was looking down at him.
"Could you give me a hoof?" He asked.
"First the lamp." Said Sombra.
"No, first your hoof."
"We don't have much time. Give me the lamp."
Thorax reached into his satchel and grabbed the lamp, and extended his hoof out to him. Then Sombra grabbed the lamp.
"Your hoof!" Said Thorax.
"Second no more, master" Said Garble.
"Now your hoof."
Sombra ignored Thorax and placed the lamp in his satchel, then he looked back down at him.
"How about I kick you with my hoof?" He said looking down at with an evil smile.
Thorax looked at him with a terrified look. And Sombra stepped on Thorax's right hoof.
"No! No!"
Then Abu climbed onto Sombra, and Thorax lost his grip on the wall and fell down, when the carpet saw him falling, he flew up and tried to catch him.
"Get off me, monkey!" Said Sombra as he shook Abu off, and he fell as well.
The carpet managed to catch Thorax.
Outside of the cave
When the guards saw Sombra walking up to them, they immediately ran up to him.
"Stop." Said Sombra.
"Dirty monkey! Second, second!" Said Garble.
When Sombra heard Garble, his eyes widened and he looked down at his satchel and saw that the lamp was not there.
"Arrrgggghhhhh!!!"
Inside the cave
The carpet safely flew Thorax onto the ground, he smiled and got off him and the carpet flew again.
"We're alive. I think. Thank you carpet." Said Thorax, and the carpet took a bow.
Then Abu climbed up a rock and showed Thorax the oil lamp, and Thorax's eyes widened in surprise.
"Abu." Said Thorax grabbing the oil lamp "How did you?" Then he gently stroked his head with his hoof.
"You cunning little monkey." He chuckled.
Then he stood up and looked around the cave.
"Now, all we need's a way out." He said as he and Abu began looking around the place for an exit.
"Carpet, do you know a way out of here?" He asked.
Then the carpet used pointed at the oil lamp with it's edge.
"The lamp?" Thorax asked looking at it, and he noticed that there was a green substance on it.
"What is that?"
He blew and rubbed the oil lamp, and green smoke began coming out of it. Abu hid behind Thorax when he saw the green smoke, then the smoke became bigger and a large floating stallion floated in front of him. His colour was dark green and he has dark green smoke for his body, and he has no hooves.
"Great one who summons me, terrible one who commands me. I stand by my oath, loyalty to wishes three." It said in a deep voice, which made Thorax gulp in fear.
The genie cleared his throat and said "I said'Great...' " He said looking around the cave. Then he looked at the changeling.
"Excuse me, Mr, where's your boss?" He asked in a rather not too deep voice.
Thorax said nothing, but kept starring at him.
"Help me out here. Where's your boss?" He asked again. "If I was going to talk to myself. I could've just stayed in the lamp." He said.

Thorax was looking at the genie with a terrified look. Then it spoke again.
"Hello?"
Thorax decided to talk to it.
"I... I'm."
"Use your stallion voice." Said the genie pointing his hoof at him.
"I'm talking to a smoking green giant?" Thorax asked with confusion in his voice.
"No!" Said the genie as he flew next to him, his height changed as same as Thorax's.
"I'm not a giant, I am a genie. There's a difference." Said the genie correcting him. "Giants are not real." He told him.
"Where's your boss?" He asked again.
"Uh, my boss?" Thorax asked.
"Look, kid, I've been doing this a long time, alright? There's always a guy, you know, he's cheated somepony or buried somepony, I mean, you get my point. Where's that guy?"
"I know that guy. He's outside." Said Thorax.
"So, it's just you and me down here?" The genie asked, summoning a telescope in front of him and looked in it, then he pulled it back and it disappeared.
"And a monkey?" The genie asked looking at the monkey. "That's your personal business, but we gonna need to talk about that monkey later. It's a pretty little monkey." Said the genie as he tried to pet him but Abu backed away.
"So, you rubbed the lamp?" He wondered.
Thorax nodded to him.
"Okay. Do you mind if I could just stretch it over here, do you mind?" The genie asked.
"Are you asking me?"
"Yes. Your my master." He said.
"I'm your master?" Thorax asked.
"Downward dog." Said the genie as he did the downward dog.
"No, no, no. You look like you should be my master." Thorax told him.
"Right, but that's not quite how it works, though."
Then Thorax looked at the lamp.
"How long have you been trapped in here?" Thorax asked looking at the lamp.
"A thousand years." Said the genie drinking a cup of water.
"A thousand years?" He asked shocked.
"A thousand years." Said the genie, as he turned his face just like his "Kid, is it me or does, like, everything surprise you?" He asked throwing away the cup.
Thorax shook his head a little.
"So, you really don't know who I am? Genie, wishes, lamp, none of that ringing a bell?" He asked and Thorax shook his head again.
"Well, that's a first. Monkey." Said the genie pointing at the monkey, then instruments were summoned on him.
Thorax was pointing at Abu with the lamp in confusion.
"You don't need to worry about him. He's fine."
*Music playing*
Genie: Well, Ali baba he had them fourth thieves. Scheherazade had a thousand tales. But master your in luck because up your sleeve. You got a genie that never fail.
*Music finishes*
Then the carpet clapped it's edges together.
"I'm the best. Yeah."
But Thorax still had a confused look.
"Not enough, huh?" He asked, but Thorax didn't reply, he still had a confused look.
"I'm kidding watch this." Said the genie as he pointed at Abu again, and he began playing the drums.
*Drums playing*
Genie: Here I go! Uh, ooh, woo! Back up! Uh oh! Watch out!
*Tuba blowing*
Genie: Y'all done wound me up. 'Bout to show you who I'm workin' with, uh. Well, Ali baba he had them fourty thieves. Scheherazade had a thousand tales. But, master, your in luck because up your sleeves. You got a brand of magic that never fails. You got some power in your coner now. Heavy weapons in your camp. You got some punch, pizzazz yahoo, and how. All you gotta do is rub that lamp. And then I'll say. Mister, man what's your name? Whatever, what would your pleasure be? Let me take your order. I'll jolt it down. You ain't never had a friend like me. Life is your restaurant and I'm your 'maitre d'. Come on, whisper to me whatever it is you want.
8 genies: You ain't never had a friend like me.
Genie: We pride ourselves on service. You're the boss, the king, the Shah. Say what you wish. It's yours! True dish. How about a little more baklava? Have some of column A. Try all of column 'B'. I'm in the mood to help you, dude. You ain't never had a friend like me. Oh! Uh! This the big part, watch out! This is the big part, uh! Can your friends do this? Can your friends do that? Can your friends pull this. Outta their little hat? Can your friends go-

Genie: I'm the genie of the lamp. I can sing, rap, dance if you give me a chance, oh! Don't sit there buggy-eyed. I'm here to answer all your midday prayers.
Genie: Mr.
Thorax: Thorax.
Genie: Yes! One wish or two or three. Well, I'm on the job, you big nabob. You ain't never had a friend, never had a friend, you ain't. Never had a friend, never had a friend
*Firework explodes*

"You can clap now." Said the genie.
Then the carpet clapped after the song, but Thorax still had a confused look.
"No, no, no, no. Please, please. Please, please. You can thank me outside. In the sun. When you wish us out." He told them.
"So, how does it work?" Thorax asked again.
Then the genie gave him an irritated look.
"You're kidding, right?" He asked.
But Thorax didn't reply.
"The whole song was the instructions!" Said the genie as he flew next to him, his height decreased and now he is the same height as Thorax.
"Obviously, you can't dance and listen at the same time." He said. Then he gave him the instructions again "So, here's the basics. Step one, rub the lamp. Step two, say what you want. Step three, there is no step three. See, it's that easy." He said.
"You get three wishes, they must begin with rubbing the lamp and saying "I wish." Got it?" He asked.
"I think so." Said Thorax as he nodded.
"Couple other rules. You can't wish for more wishes. Three is enough." He told him, then he talked about the other rules. "Now, I can't make anypony love anypony." He said as his colour turned a bit pink.
"Or bring anypony back from the dead." He said in a deep voice. "Feel free to interrupt me anytime you don't understand. I'm kidding, don't ever interrupt me, no matter what. No, I usually don't have to go through all of this, because by the time the guy gets to me, he pretty much knows what he wants, and it generally has to do with tons of bits and power!" Said the genie in a deep voice and throwing bits at Thorax.
Then he turned back to normal.
"Do me a favour, do not drink from that cup. I promise you there is not enough bits and power in Equestria for you to be satisfied. Good? So, what's your first wish?" He asked.
Thorax thought about it for a while.
"Well, I have to think about it. I mean, if there are only three." He said "Why are there only three anyway?" He asked him.
"I don't know, who cares?" He said.
"You don't know?" Thorax asked raising an eyebrow "I thought you were all-knowing." He said.
"That's cause you don't listen." Said the genie as he teleported next to him.
"I never said I was all knowing. I said I was all-powerful." Said the genie as a painting appeared next to him. "The most powerful being in the universe. Look, whatever I don't know, I know I can learn it. Outside in the sun. Why are you playing hard to wish?" He asked with a confused look.
"I know you can't tell, but I am very pale. This is dark green. My natural pigmentation is dark green. Bring us some sun."
"Okay, Genie. I wish for you to get us out of this cave."
"Boom! Booyah! He has made his first wish! Thank you for choosing carpets, camels and caravans. Please don't forget to tip your genie on the way out." Said the genie as he began to teleport them out.
"Hold yourself, kid!"
After 2 seconds, they were teleported out of the cave.
"Man, look at this world. It's so big! Inside the lamp, everything is, like, brass, brass, brass! You're like "Oh! Is that some copper?" Sorta the problem with the genie life, phenomenal cosmic powers, but itty-bitty living space." He said.
Thorax looked around the desert and turned to him.
"So, is this magic, or are you magic?" He asked raising the lamp.
"Kind of a package deal." He said as he clapped his hooves together and they were now under a giant umbrella stand sitting on comfortable chairs.
"Can you warn me before you do that?" Thorax asked, a bit jumped from the sudden magic. And Abu was also a bit jumped.
"You'll get used to it." Said the genie as he summond a drink in front of him and drank it.
"Right. So, do I have to make all my wishes here? I mean, if I take you back to Canterlot, won't the ponies?"
"No, no, no! I can look totally normal. Boof." Said the genie as he turned into a dark green changeling.
Thorax looked at him "Right, totally normal. And do we need the top knot?" He asked.
"That's my little cherry on top!" He complained.
"Okay, okay." Said Thorax. Then the genie teleported himself on the chair.
"So, what are you gonna wish?" He asked him.
"I haven't thought about that." He told him.
The genie ate a grape and looked at him.
"You really are not that guy."
Then he summond an apple in front of him and grabbed it.
"So, what would you wish for?" Thorax asked him.
The genie threw away the apple and looked at him again.
"Nopony ever asked me that before. It's an easy one though. I'd wish to be free." The genie replied to him as he tapped on the golden chains on his left hoof.
"To not have to say, "Poof! Can I help you?" Said the genie as he turned into a waiter. Then he decreased his size and flew near Thorax's face "Poof! What would you like?" Then he flew on a chess board.
"Poof! Welcome to the lamp." Then he returned back to a changeling and back onto the seat "Freedom. I wish to be. To be a changeling like you." He shrugged.
"Why don't You just set yourself free?" Thorax asked him raising an eyebrow.
The genie laughed and clapped his hooves.
"Carpet! Did you hear what this stallion said? Why don't I set myself free?" He asked the carpet, and it laughed.
"Only way a genie gets to be free is if the owner of the lamp uses one of his wishes to set him free and the last time that happened was, like, the fourth of Never-ary.
Then Thorax stood up and looked at him.
"I'll do it. I've got three, right?"
"Actually, you have two left. You used one to get out of the cave. Remember?"
"Did I? Or did you?" Thorax asked him. "I thought I had to be rubbing the lamp." He told him.
"Okay. Little street colt. Let's rewind the tape." Said the genie as he clapped his hooves.
Then he reminded to the part where Thorax was talking to him in the cave. And then the tape showed the monkey rubbing the lamp.
"Ooh! Little monkey with the lamp trick! Never seen that one before." He said. Then he reminded back to the present.
"I'll keep my eye on you." The genie told the monkey and Abu nodded.
"At least now, I can use my third wish to set you free." Thorax told him.
The genie leaned forward on his seat and looked at him.
"Here's the thing about wishes. The more you have, the more you want."
Thorax shook his head when he heard him saying that.
"That's not me." He assured him.
The genie nodded a little from hearing that.
"We'll see about that."
"But there is something." Said Thorax.
"Seen that face before." Said the genie as he teleported next to him.
"Who is she? Who's the mare?"
Thorax sighed and said "She's a princess."
"Aren't they all?" Asked the genie. "Treat your mare like a queen, "I always say."
Thorax chuckled "No. No, she's an actual princess." He told him.
"Well, I already told you, I can't make anypony love anypony, so-"
"No, no. We had a connection."
"Did they?" The genie asked the monkey. And Abu smiled at him.
"Okay. She is smart, and kind, and so beautiful. But she has to marry a-" Thorax decided not to say prince.
He looked back at him and asked "Can you make me a prince?"
Then the genie teleported back to the chair and Thorax looked at him again.
"There's a lot of gray area in "make me a prince." He said "I could just make you a prince." He said clapping his hooves and a stallion was teleported in the distance.
"Oh. No."
"Right. You'd be snuggled up with that dude for the rest of your life." He said pointing at the stallion.
"Y'all seen my place?" Asked the stallion in the distance.
"Be specific with your words." He told him "The deal is in the detail."
"Got it." Said Thorax.
"Which I really don't understand, because if she already likes you, why change?" He asked with confusion on his face.
"I told you, she has to marry a prince."
"I just wanna go home, man!" Said the stallion in the distance again.
"Okay, I can do that." Said the genie as he got up, and Thorax had an excited look. "An official wish this time, for those of us who are counting which now, I am one."
Thorax cleared his throat.
"Genie, I wish-"
"Lamp." As he pointed at it.
Thorax looked at the lamp and grabbed it.
"Sorry. Alright. Genie."
"Don't hurt him, Genie!"
"I wish to become a prince." He said rubbing the lamp and closing his eyes.
"Back up, kid. I need some room to work. I'm about to fabulize you." He said as he turned the umbrella stand into a slingshot.
"Genie?" Thorax asked, then they launched near the kingdom.
"Little head-spinner. Better though, right?" The genie asked him.
"I think I'm getting used to it." Said Thorax, them the genie flew up into the air and began thinking on how to make Thorax a prince.
"Okay, a prince, a prince." He said thinking. Then he flew back to him "Obviously, your look and your satchel are not gonna work. I'm feeling a periwinkle." He said.
"What's periwinkle." Thorax asked in confusion.
Then he turned around with glasses on his nose bridge, a pencil on his ear, and he held scissors on his hooves.
"No! Chartreuse." Said the genie as he began making and putting a costume on him.
After 1 second Thorax was wearing a pink costume.
"The lines are all wrong." Said the genie.
"What is this?" Thorax asked looking at the costume he was wearing.
"The colour clashes with your skin tone, the silhouette is confused."
"This is a big hat!" Thorax complained looking at the hat he is wearing.
"No, that is not a big hat." He told him "Come on, Genie! Gotta kick the door down!" As he unfolded a gold carpet.
"We gotta go bold and gold!" Said the genie as he wrapped the gold carpet around his and now he was wearing a gold suit.
"No!" Said the genie.
"We've gone too far." Said Thorax unamused at what he is wearing.
"Genie, you're slipping! It's gotta be neutral for the desert." Said the genie as a notebook teleported next to him "Ivory, beige, bone, Albion."
"It's a little heavy." Said Thorax.
The genie gasped and made another costume for him.
"White." Said the genie as he made a put a white costume on him.
"And the crowd goes wild! The genie! The genie's on fire!" Said the genie zooming off into the distance, and his green smoked body was on fire.
"The genie's on fire, folks!" He said through a megaphone.
"Don't hurt him, Genie! Don't scald him! Somepony cool me down!" The genie panicked. Then a thunderstorm was summond near him and he flew under it.
"Somepony put me out! I'm too much!" Then the fire on him was put out. He gave a sigh of relief and teleported a mirror next to him.
"So, what do you think?" He asked.
Thorax looked at himself in the mirror and nodded in satisfaction.
"I like it." He said.
"Of course you like it, kid! I made it!" He said as he flew near him.
"I think that's me."
"Strictly speaking, it is me. I mean, I did most of the work. And you were just standing there. But I hear you."
"But won't ponies recognize me?" Thorax asked.
"Nopony'll recognize you. That's how genie magic works. Ponies see what they're told to see." He told him.
"Right. Who am I?" Thorax asked him.
"Who?" The genie chuckled.
"Prince Thori?" He suggested.
"From?" Thorax asked again.
"From Manehatten." He said.
"Mane-ha-wha?" Thorax asked looking at him.
"Your not listening. 'Manehatten'" The genie pronounced the word again.
"Is that a real place?"
"Yeah! Like, everypony knows about it. It has a brochure." He said as he showed Thorax the brochure, he tried to grab it but the genie pulled it away.
"Little hot in the summer, temperature in the fall. But no, I'll let you read it en route."
"How are we gonna get there?" Thorax asked looking at him.
"I guess you can't ride a chimp." The genie suggested and Abu gave him an irritated look.
"Don't you just love a cute little monkey? Hold it there, Abu." Said the genie as he cast a spell on him, then he turned into a donkey.
"Donkey." Said the genie.
"Too small." Said Thorax.
Then the genie turned Abu into a camel. But Thorax still didn't like it.
"No. Too obvious."
"We need something robust!" Said the genie as he cast another spell on him one more time and he turned into an elephant. And Abu had a terrified look.
"Relax, Abu. It's just for a minute." Said the genie.
"Whoa." Said Thorax looking at Abu, then he looked back at the mirror. "Prince Thori of Manehatten."
"And now, for your entourage!"
"What?"
Then the sand started to come towards them.
"What's happening?" Thorax asked looking at the sands that were surrounding them.
"Genie?"

In Canterlot
Ponies were doing their work near the castle, but then they felt the ground rumbling.
The sultan, Sombra and Twilight even felt the rumbling in the castle.
"Clear the way!" The royal guards ordered the ponies to move to the sides.
Then stallion guards on horses, mares in dresses and costumes, stallions on camels with drums and other instruments came through the castle's entrance.
*Drums playing."
*Tubas blowing.*
The sultan Nightlight and the princess Twilight came to the castle's balcony entrance and looked down at the ponies.
Stallion royal guards: Make way for Prince Thori.
Mares: Say hey, it's Prince Thori.
Genie: Hey! Clear the way in the old bazaar. Hey you! Let us through! It's a brand new star. Oh come, be the first on your block to meet his eye. Make way. Here he comes. Ring bells! Bang the drums. You're gonna love this guy. Prince Thori, fabulous he. Thori from Manehatten. Show some respect, genuflect, down on two knees. Now, try your best to stay calm. Brush up your Friday salaam. Then come and meet his spectacular coterie. Prince Thori, mighty as he, Thori from Manehatten. Strong as ten regular stallions, definetly. He faced the galloping hordes. Genie: Prince Thori! Handsome is he, Thori from Manehatten. That physique! How can I speak, weak in my knees, yummy stallion. So get on out in that square. Adjust your veil and prepare. To gawk and grovel and stare at Prince Thori.
Mares: He's got ninty-five white Persian monkeys.
Genie: He's got some monkeys, a bunch of monkeys!
Stallions: And to view them he charges no fee.
Then Thorax threw gold bits to some foals.
Foal: He's generous, so generous.
Stallions: He's got 10000 servants and flunkies. Proud to work for him. Bow to his whim, love serving him. They're just lousy with loyalty. To Thori. Prince Thori. Prince Tho-
"We're waiting for you!" The genie told the sultan.
"We're not goin' till you go!"
"You can do it!"
Then Nightlight tapped on the balcony.
"There it is!"
Everypony: Prince Thori. Amorous he. Thori from Manehatten.
Genie: Heard your princess was hot, where is she?
Then princess Twilight walked back inside the castle.
Genie: And that, good ponies, is why. He got all cute and dropped by. With-
Stallions: With 60 elephants. Llamas galore.
Genie: For real?
Stallions: With his bears and lions. A brass band and more.
Genie: What?
Stallion and mares: With his fourty fakirs. His cooks, his baker, his birds that warble on key.
Everypony: Make way. For Prince Thori!
*Everypony cheering and clapping their hooves*

In the castle
Thorax and the genie were waiting for princess Twilight near the exit of the castle.
"Where are they?" Thorax whispered to the genie.
"Relax." Said the genie.
"What is taking so long?" Thorax asked again.
Sombra was looking at Thori with a familiar look.
"Here comes the stallion." Said the genie.
Then the sultan Nightlight, the hoofmaid Starlight and the princess Twilight came and greeted him.
Thorax bowed while holding a stick in his hooves.
"What are you doing?" The Genie asked, but Thorax didn't reply to him. "Put your hooves down." He told him.
"I'm presenting it." Thorax told him.
"Put your hooves down!" The genie whispered seriously, but he didn't.
"It's a pleasure to welcome you to Canterlot, Prince Thori." Said the sultan as he bowed his head.
Thorax then bowed, but a piece from the stick fell on the ground.
"Why did it dropped?" The genie asked the genie quietly.
"I don't know, it fell off." Thorax replied to him quietly.
Then the genie pushed the piece of the stick behind Thorax with his back hoof.
"It's a pleasure to meet him, probably." The genie whispered to Thorax.
"Uh... It's just as much a pleasure for me, your highness sir." Said Thorax. His sentence was a bit confusing. "You look very serene."
"That's a curtsy, not a bow. Stand up." The genie whispered to Thorax again.
Thorax did what the genie said and stood up.
"I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with Manehatten." Said Sombra.
Thorax and the genie looked at each other for a second, then back at the front.
"Well it's north."
"It's south."
Thorax and the genie said at the same time.
Thorax looked at the genie again, then back at the front.
"Uh... we have a north and a south." Said Thorax.
"What?" Garble asked looking at his master.
"It's near, if your were to go, it's. Around there, you can find it, if you just look." Said the genie.
"The world is changing quickly, Sombra." Said Nightlight.
"It seems as if there is a new country everyday." Nightlight said smiling.
Thorax laughed from hearing that and tapped the genie's back.
"Don't touch me." He said, but Thorax tapped his back again.
"Don't touch me."
"Well, yes, you are very wise." Said Thorax.
"Tell him that we have gifts, please." The genie reminded him.
Thorax cleared his throat "Right! We have things. Gifts!" He told them, then he looked at the genie "Did you organize this?" He whispered to him.
"Yeah!" Said the genie as he clapped his hooves, and the ponies outside came in.
"Yes, here we are. Gifts coming right up! We have spices, golden camels, and spoons, tiny spoons."
"Spoons!" Starlight whispered to Twilight excitedly.
"We also have jams!" Said Thorax.
"Jams?" Sombra asked with no emotion.
"Jams?" Garble also asked.
"Yes, jams! Yam jams, fig jams."
"Yam jams!" Said Starlight looking at Twilight.
"And date jams. Seedless, delicious, exotic jams." Thorax finished.
"Move away from the jams." The genie whispered to Thorax seriously.
"What?" Thorax asked.
"We have jewels." The genie told him.
Thorax cleared his throat again "Jewels! We have them! And, uh, that! Over there. Hidden for suspence." Said Thorax pointing at the covered object, then two stallion guards unfolded it, and they saw a wheel.
"Ta-da!"
"It's a wheel?" Twilight asked looking at the wheel.
"It's, uh, very expensive." Said Thorax.
"And what do you hope to buy with this expensive?" Twilight asked looking at him.
"You!" Said Thorax, and everypony in the room looked at him.
Thorax shook his head when he said that "No! No, no, no. A moment with you, a moment. That's not..."
The genie sighed in annoyance.
"Are you suggesting I am for sale?" Twilight asked him raising am eyebrow.
"Of course." Said Thorax. Then she looked at him.
"Not! No, of course not! No!"
"It's cold and it's dark in that lamp. But I prefer it to this." The genie told him.
"Please excuse me. I need to go and find some bread." Said Twilight as she turned around and walked away.
"For the jams." Said Starlight.
"No! That's not what I meant. I..."
"You did great." Said Starlight as she walked away with Twilight.
"That's not what I meant."
"Just leave her alone. You didn't do great." The genie told him.
"You will get the chance to speak again. We hope you can join us tonight, Prince Thori, when we celebrate our harvest." Said Nightlight as he walked away with Sombra behind him.
"Of course, your serene self. We will join you." Said Thorax as he bowed again. Then he stood up.
The genie looked at Thorax "In 10000 year... I've never been that embarrassed." He told him.
Canterlot castle 9:45pm
*Fireworks explode*
In the castle's large balcony there was a huge party happening, and Thorax and the genie arrived at it.
"Don't worry. You are not out of the game yet." The genie told him "Just do whatever you'd normally do at a party." He finished.
"I've never been to a party." Thorax told him.
The genie looked at him.
"What?" He asked with an incredulous voice.
"What?" Thorax asked looking at him as well.
"You're gonna need to go back to the room then. You're not messing up my night." He told him.
"Prince Thori."
When Thorax and the genie turned around, they saw the sorcerer Sombra.
"May I have a word? Privately. This doesn't concern your servant."
"Well, be over there minding my business." Said the genie as he left.
Thorax cleared his throat and looked at him.
"I know who you are." Sombra told him.
Then Thorax looked at him nervously.
"You do?"
"Yes." He said "You're a stallion of great ambition like myself." He told him.
Thorax smiled to him and said "I, uh, don't believe we've been properly introduced."
Then Sombra introduced himself first.
"My name is Sombra, vizier to the sultan." He told him "I could be a valuable ally to help you get what you want." He finished.
"I, uh... I will think on that." Said Thorax as he tapped on Sombra's back "I don't wanna keep the princess waiting." He said as he turned around. But he was stopped when Sombra said "Perhaps I'm not making myself clear."
Then Thorax looked at him again.
"This offer will not be on the table for long, you see." Said Sombra as he controlled him with his staff.
"Prince Thori. Excuse me. Prince Thori, your presence is requested." Said the genie bringing Thorax to the party place, and Sombra looked at them.
"So, I guess that's the guy." Said the genie.
Thorax gave him a verbal response and said "That's the guy."
Then they walked to a place with many ponies were talking, including princess Twilight and the hoofmaid Starlight.
"Okay, there she is. This is your chance." Said the genie excitedly.
"You know what? There are a lot of ponies. I don't think I can do this." Said Thorax as he turned around. But the genie placed his hoof on his chest and pulled him back.
"You'll be fine."
"Okay." Said Thorax as he took a deep breath.
"This one's gonna be easy."
Then they walked towards Twilight and Starlight.
"Whoo. Look at her hoofmaid. And she's going to get some punch. Feelin' a little thirsty myself." Said the genie as he walked to get a drink.
"No! No, no! You can't leave me." Said Thorax. "They'll see through me." He told him.
"No, they won't. All you have to.fo is walk over there." He assured him.
"And speak. I also have to speak." Thorax told him with a nervous look.
"Okay, listen to me. I live in a lamp. This is a party. Don not mess this up for me. Okay?" He asked and Thorax nodded "I like to party. Go get her!"
Then the genie walked away.
Thorax was approaching Twilight. And Twilight looked at him, but before Thorax could reach her, Prince Bluehood called her.
"Princess Twilight!"
"You? You're still here?"
"Yes."
Then Thorax took a seat near the fountain.
"What are you doing?" The genie asked looking at him.
Thorax looked at him and said "I'm just making sure the water is a good temperature."
"Why are you not over there?"
"How am I suppost to compete with that?" Thorax asked pointing at Prince Bluehood. "Look at him. He's so princely."
"You have got to be more confident about what you have to offer." The genie told him.
"What do I have to offer?" Thorax asked "Knowledge of how to steal food? How to jump between buildings?" He asked again.
"Now, Prince Thori, he has jewels."
"No, stop, stop, stop!" Said the genie as he took a seat. "I made you look like a prince on the outside." He told him. "But I didn't change anything on the inside. Prince Thori got you to the door, but Thorax has to open it." He finished.
Then Thorax looked at the sultan Nightlight, and they raised their cups.
"See, the sultan does like me!"
"Okay, well, maybe he'll let you be his wife." Said the genie, and Thorax looked at him with an irritated look.
"Look at that, another Prince more interested in my father." Said Twilight looking at them.
"I don't know, I think this one might be different. And he comes with an incredibly attractive friend. Please make it work." Starlight begged Twilight.
"And, what about Prince Thori?" Twilight asked her.
"Look at him. He's trying so hard." Starlight told her while she was looking at him.
"That's the problem." Said Twilight.
"Showtime." The genie whispered to Thorax.
Thorax's eyes widened.
"No." As he shook his head "I'm waiting for the right moment." He told him.
"No. No waiting. We're done waiting."
"No, I'm in charge. Okay?" Said Thorax "I say when it's the right moment."
Then the genie pushed Thorax to Twilight with his magic, and he stared at him angrily.
"Really? Really?"
Then Starlight notice that Prince Thori was looking at them.
"Oh. He's here. Say something, act natural." Starlight told Twilight laughing, then she looked at Prince Thori "Hi!"
Thorax waved at Starlight, then he looked back at Twilight.
"I'm sorry for the jams, and the jewels, and the... buying you." He chuckled nervously "That wasn't me. It was me, I don't have a twin or anything, but I. Um. Do you-"
"Dance? I'd love to." Said Twilight walking to the dance area.
"Yes." Said Thorax looking at her. Then he looked at the genie and he smiled at him.
"I have to dance." Thorax whispered to him.
"Just dance." The genie told him as he did a small dance.
*Music playing*
The ponies formed a circle around them and the mares walked forward.
"What am I suppost to do?" Thorax whispered to the genie.
"Relax." He whispered back. Then he did magic on him which made his right hoof go up.
The the genie made him walk forward and stand next to Twilight, and he smiled at her.
Then he got moved to the left and right. And he began dancing.
He danced beside Twilight for a moment. Then the genie made him do break dance moves which amazed everypony including Twilight.
Then he jumped on the fountain and did a few moves. Then at the end he did a back flip.
After the dance, everypony cheered.
"That was awesome!" Said a stallion.
"Bravo! Well done!" Said a mare.
Then Twilight walked away, and Thorax stood up and walked back to his guest room.
Sombra had seen the whole dance with the captain of the royal guards.
"Something very strange about him." He said looking at him "Keep a close eye on Prince Thori." Sombra told the captain.
In Thorax's guest room
Thorax was walking in his room after he saw Twilight walking away after his dance.
"She just walked out." Said Thorax with a disappointed look.
"Maybe I went a tad far with the back flip." Said the genie, while looking at himself with a mirror he summond. "But that dance may be the best thing you ever do in your life!" He said as he looked at him.
Thorax shrugged
"That was pretty good. But nothing seems to impress her." He told him.
"Yeah, it's crazy." He said while reading a book. "Not gems or jams or jewels. If I can't impress her, I wonder who can." He finished.
Thorax looked at princess Twilight and the hoofmaid walking to their room, then he looked back at him.
"What's that supposed to mean?" He asked.
"I'm just sayin' try being yourself." The genie shrugged.
"But she has to marry a prince." He told him. Then he looked back in front of him "If I just had a few more minutes with her, I know I could..." Said Thorax, then he had a plan in his mind.
"You need to get me over there." Said Thorax as he turned around and looked at the genie.
"Is that an official wish?" He asked.
"No. It's a favour. For a friend."
"Yeah, see, genie's don't really have friends." He told him.
"I thought you said you never had a friend like me."
Then he increased his size and flew close to him.
"No, I said you never had a friend like me!" He said. Then he returned to normal size.
Thorax sighed when he heard that and looked back in front of him.
"When you're a genie, somepony always wants something from ya. It's awkward." He told him as he summond a mirror in front of him again.
Thorax shrugged and said "Your right, your right. Besides, it would've involved distracting a certain hoofmaiden..."
Then the genie flew in front of him with interest in his eyes.
"I see what you're doing!" He laughed. "You hooked me. See you there?"
Thorax nodded to him.

10:20pm, Twilight's bedroom front door .
The genie was standing in front of Twilight's bedroom front door. He used his magic to knock on the door, and three seconds later the door opened and he saw a light purple mare. And Starlight was surprised to see him.
"Good evening." Said the genie taking a bow, then he stood back up.
"How did you get past the guards?" Starlight asked raising an eyebrow.
"Uh... I snuck past."
"All fourty-eight of them?" She asked again. "Even the ones that eat fire? Impressive." She said as she nodded.
"Yes, well, that's what ponies say about me!" He said.
Then Starlight looked at Twilight and she looked at her.
"Well, that didn't come out the right way. Nopony says that. I don't know why I said that."
Then he pulled out a pack of roses to her. And Starlight looked at them with wide eyes, then she looked back at him.
"They're beautiful!" She said smiling "But. She will hate them." She told him.
"Tell Prince Thori the way to her heart is through her mind."
The genie took a deep breath.
"Actually, these are from me to you." He said blushing slightly.
"Could you excuse me for a moment?"
"Wait, no, just." The genie wasn't able to finish his sentence because Starlight closed the door.
Then Starlight looked at Twilight and shrieked happily, and Twilight looked at her with a happy face.
"That's what ponies say about me. Come on genie!" He grumbled to himself. Then Starlight opened the door again.
"My favourites. I accept." As she grabbed the flowers from his hooves "Please continue." She said again.
The genie took a deep breath again and he released.
"I was noticing how pleasant the evening is. At the party, I noticed you noticing, how pleasant I am." He said, then Starlight looked at him again "Right. How's this going?" He asked blushing slightly again.
"It's clumsy, but in a charming sort of way."
"A stroll." Said the genie, and Starlight looked at him.
"Would you like to take an evening stroll?" He asked.
"Just the two of us? On purpose?" She asked.
"Yes, as pony and changeling."
"Just a second." Said Starlight closing the door again.
"Okay." Said the genie.
Then Starlight threw the roses to Twilight and she caught it. Then she opened the door again and looked at the genie.
"I've never done this before. How does it work?" Said Starlight as she walked with the genie "Do you like sheep cheese?" She asked as she left with the genie.
Back to Twilight.
Twilight was looking at the maps on the table. Soon she heard the door knock again.
"Come in." She said.
"Actually, I'm already in." Said a familiar voice.
Twilight's eyes widened and she turned around and saw Prince Thori standing on her large balcony.
"Don't move." She said seriously and Thorax stood still, and Spike growled and walked up to him.
"I just came back because you left so..."
"How did you get there?" She asked.
"A magic carpet?"
Twilight raised an eyebrow from hearing that, then she shook her head "Actually, I'm glad you are here."
"You are?" Thorax asked.
"I've been trying to find Manehatten, but it doesn't seem to be on any of my maps." She said.
Then Thorax had a nervous look on his face.
"Care to show me?" Twilight asked in a soft voice.
"Spike, let's not eat the Prince today. He need his hooves for dancing."
"Did I go too far with the back flip?" He asked.
"A little." She replied simply. Then she looked at Thorax "Manehatten?" She asked.
"Yes." Said Thorax as he nodded. Then he walked up to the table and grabbed the map.
"Genie, I need to find Manehatten." Thorax whispered to the genie. But he was having a talk with Starlight.
"My other brother...the short one, not the one who gifted me a goat, he's married..."
"She has maps, lots of maps." Thorax told the genie again.
Thorax grabbed the map and held it in front of him.
"Manehatten, of course." Said Thorax as he held the map in front of him, and he gulped nervously "Manehatten."
"Yak napkins are not easy to find." Said Starlight.
The genie chuckled and sneakily did some magic, and his form appeared on the map, and he drew countries and Thorax was looking at him all over the place, which gave Twilight a confused look. Then the genie finished his work and showed him a kingdom called 'Fanatsy land'.
"No. Manehatten." Thorax said with no sound.
Then Twilight pulled the map down from his face and asked "Have you lost your country?"
"Uh... my country? No, no." Said Thorax smiling. And Twilight gave him another confused look. Thorax placed the map on the table again "There it is." He said as he placed his hoof on the map.
"I don't think so. I've been..." Said Twilight as she was cut off when she saw Manehatten on her map.
"There it is." Said Thorax again.
"How did I not see that?" She said confusingly.
"Who needs maps anyway?" Asked Thorax. "They're old and useless, and add not practical value."
"Maps are how I see the world." Twilight told him.
"Uh... I thought a princess could go anywhere."
Twilight shook her head.
"Not this princess." She said sadly.
"Well, would you wanna...?" As he bumped into a fruit bowl, dropping some fruits onto the ground.
Twilight giggled when she saw that.
"Sorry, sorry." As he walked down a small step.
"Spike!"
Thorax was looking at Spike face to face, and he smiled and locked him.
"Thanks for that." Said Thorax stroking him on the head, and Spike liked it. Then he stood up again.
"I was saying you should see the places. I mean there's a whole world outside books and maps." Said Thorax walking to the end of the balcony. "Do you want to?" He asked.
"How? Every door is guarded." Twilight told him.
"Who said anything about a door?" Thorax asked hoping on the balcony's railing.
"What are you doing?" Twilight asked walking up to him.
"Sometimes, Princess." As he climbed over the balcony and stood on it's edge "Sometimes, you just have to take a risk." He said as he jumped down.
Twilight gasped in shock when she saw Prince Thori jumping off the balcony.
"What just happened?" She asked herself a bit terrified.
Then she saw Thorax floating up in front of her on a magic carpet, which surprised Twilight.
"What?" She asked looking at the carpet. "Is this...?"
"A magic carpet? Do you trust me?" Thorax asked extending his hoof out to her.
"What did you say?"
"Do you trust me?"
Then Twilight grabbed Thorax's hoof, and he pulled her up the carpet, and flew around the world.
Thorax: I can show you the world. Shining, shimmering, splendid. Tell me, princess. Now, when did you last let your heart decide? I can open your eyes. Take you wonder by wonder. Over, sideways and under on a magic carpet ride. A whole new world. A new fantastic point of view. Nopony to tell us "No". Or where to go. Or say we're only dreaming.
Twilight Sparkle: A whole new world. A dazzling place I never knew. But when I'm way up here. It's crystal clear. That now I'm in a whole new world with you.
Thorax: Now I'm in a whole new world with you.
Twilight Sparkle: Unbelievable sights. Indescribable feeling. Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling. Through an endless diamond sky. A whole new world.
Thorax: Don't you dare close your eyes.
Twilight Sparkle: A hundred thousand things to see.
Thorax: Hold your breath, it gets better.
Twilight Sparkle: I'm like a shooting star. I've come so far. I can't go back to where I used to be.
Thorax: A whole new world.
Twilight Sparkle: Every turn a surprise.
Thorax: With new horizons to pursue.

Back in town
Thorax and Twilight were watching the ponies celebrating the harvest on the magic carpet above. And Thorax gave Twilight his white jacket to wear, so that she doesn't catches a cold.
"Of all the places you've shown me, this is by far the most beautiful." Twilight told him.
Thorax chuckled and said "Sometimes, you just have to see it from a different perspective."
"It's them, the ponies. They make it beautiful." Said Twilight looking at the ponies below them "And they deserve a leader who knows that. I don't know why I think it could be me." She said again.
"Because it should be you." Thorax told her as he looked at her.
"You think so?" Twilight asked looking at him.
"Does it matter what I think?" Thorax asked pulling her hair back, which made her blush. Then she looked down and a saw a monkey.
"Look at that adorable monkey down there. Is that Abu?"
"No, no, it couldn't be Abu, he's..." Thorax stopped his sentence and sighed.
"So, how many names do you have, Prince Thorax?"
Thorax's eyes widened when he noticed that she called him Thorax.
"Uh... no, no, I..."
"So who is Prince Thori?"
"I am Prince Thori."
"But how would you know the city so well?" Twilight asked.
"I came to Canterlot early." He told her "Because to know a pony, you have to see them for yourself. But you already know that. When we first met, you were disgusted in your own city" He said.
Twilight just shrugged.
"You saw us arrive with dancers, an elephant, and a magic carpet. How could a street thief have all that?" Thorax asked.
"But how could I not recognize you?"
"Ponies don't see the real you when you're royalty." He told her.
Twilight was quiet for a moment, then she replied to him.
"I'm sorry. I'm embarrassed. I mean, you've seen more of Canterlot in days. Than I have in an entire lifetime."
Thorax sighed and looked at her.
"We should... probably head back."
"Already?" Twilight asked smiling at him.
Then they flew back to the palace, and Thorax dropped Twilight off in her room, then she got off the magic carpet and looked at him.
"Until, tomorrow Princess."
Then the carpet pushed Thorax towards Twilight and they have kissed each other. When Twilight noticed that she had kissed, she closed her eyes, and Thorax also closed his eyes and kissed back.
After 5 seconds, they released.
"Goodnight." Said Twilight with a smile. Then she walked back into her room.
"Goodnight." Said Thorax. Then the carpet flew him back to his room.
"Fascinating." Garble said to himself.

The Royal guards have trapped Thorax on a chair in Sombra's library, they wrapped his hooves up together and placed him at the edge of the libraries balcony and under the balcony was sea water.
"Please, please." Thorax begged the guards, but they didn't cared "Gentlecolts, I think there's been some sort of confusion. I don't think you know who I am." He said.
"Oh, no, no." Said a familiar voice. And Thorax looked in front of him, and he saw Sombra. "I know who you are. Thorax."
Then Garble flew next to him.
"Thorax? I don't know who that is. I'm Prince Thori."
"Street rat!" Said Garble.
"Of Manehatten." He finished.
"Prince from a kingdom that doesn't exist." Said Sombra flipping the pages in his book "Who now possesses a magic carpet from the Cave of Wonders. Seems to me, the only way that's possible..."
"Where's your monkey?" Garble asked glaring at him.
"Is if you found a certain treasure." He said as he looked at him "My treasure." He finished in a deep voice.
Then Garble flew away from Thorax and back to Sombra.
"Where's the lamp?" Sombra asked.
Back in Thorax's room.
Abu opened a basket in Thorax's room and grabbed the lamp. Then he called the carpet, the carpet nodded to him and flew towards him, then Abu got on him and they flew to the library to save Thorax.
Back in the library
Thorax tried to convince Sombra that he was Prince Thori, but Sombra wasn't fooled by his lies.
"There's clearly been some sort of misunderstanding. I'm Prince Thori."
Then Sombra began to walk up to him with his staff.
"If I throw you off of that balcony, and you are who you say you are, you will die a watery death." He told him, and Thorax gulped in fear. "If you survive, it can only be because of the lamp. In which case, I will have my answer."
Thorax looked at the water below him again, then back to Sombra and he had a serious look on his face.
"For the last time." He said as he placed his staff's end on his chest. "Where is the lamp?"
"Listen to me. I don't know who you think I am."
"Goodbye, Thorax." Said Sombra as he pushed him off the balcony.
"No! No!" Thorax yelled.
Then he splashed into the water and sank to the bottom.
Sombra looked down at the ocean water once, then he scoffed and turned back around.
Thorax was struggling to free himself from the rope under water but the rope was really tight, then he looked above him and he saw the magic carpet, then the lamp was thrown into the water right next to him.
When Thorax saw the lamp. He pushed himself to it while in the chair. But it was too late because he lost his consciousness when he got to the lamp.
Abu was looking in the water with a worried look.
Miraculously, Thorax's hooves managed rub the lamp when he lost his consciousness , then the genie cane out of the lamp.
"Yo, what in the?" Said the genie looking in the water. Then he saw Thorax underneath him and he was unconcious in the water.
He swam to Thorax and lifted him up.
"Kid, okay. I can't get you out of this unless you make a wish! You have to make a wish! Come on, wake up! Okay, try and form the words 'I wish.'" Said the genie. But Thorax didn't respond to him. "Kid, come on, wake up! Wake up."
Then the genie began think about how to get him out of this situation.
"You need to think. Think, think." Then an idea came into his mind. "Okay, okay! A little gray area here, but it's worth a try." He said as he grabbed a script and a pen.
"I, Thorax, being of sound body and mind. Declare that my second wish is to be saved from certain doom. I took the liberty to backdate that a day. I hope you don't mind. Yes! Here we go! Come on!" Said the genie as he began flying in circles around Thorax incredibly fast. Then he grabbed Thorax and teleported them back to his room.
"Come on, kid! Come on! Kid? Kid? Kid, please." Said the genie as he layed him on a couch. "Come on! Wake up! Wake up, wake up! Kid, wake up." The genie pleaded.
Then Thorax spat water out of his mouth and into the genie's face, and he began coughing and gasping for breath.
"Probably could've done that the other direction, but..." Said the genie wiping the water off his face.
Thorax didn't respond to the genie, he just kept gasping for breath.
"How you doing?" He asked.
Thorax sighed and said "Thanks, Genie."
"No problem, you know. I was in the neighborhood."
"I thought you said no favors." Said Thorax.
The genie shrugged.
"I thought you said no friends."
"Right. Um, it actually cost you a wish." He told him.
Thorax shook his head and said
"Whatever it cost, you saved my life."
"Yeah, that's true. I mean strictly speaking though, it was a team effort."
"Thank you." Said Thorax, and the genie nodded.
"We have to stop Sombra."
In the castle's entrance
Sombra was talking to the sultan about Prince Thori's sudden leave.
"I overheard Prince Thori talking to his advisor about returning with an army to conquer Canterlot." Sombra told the sultan.
"What?" The sultan asked with a shocked expression.
"Now it appears he's fled in the night."
Then Nightlight and Sombra walked up to Twilight, and she turned around and looked at them.
"You heard him say this, Sombra, and you saw him leave?" Twilight asked.
"Yes, with my own ears and my own eyes. So what's the problem now, Princess?" Sombra asked with an evil smile.
"This is the problem, Sombra. If what you say is true, then why is Prince Thori still here?" Twilight asked as Thorax walked up towards them with the genie.
Then Sombra looked at him with a surprised look.
"Your Majesty." Said Thorax.
"Prince Thori. This is a surprise." Said Sombra.
"Your Highness, your advisor's not who he say he is." Thorax told him.
"Oh. I'm not who I say I am?" Sombra asked.
"Dad, he tried to kill Prince Thori." Twilight said to her father.
Then Sombra turned around and looked at Nightlight.
"Sombra, can you explain this to me?" Nightlight asked.
"Yes." Said Sombra as his staff began glowing red, and it controlled him.
"My sultan, you know my loyalty belongs to you." Sombra said controlling him.
"Your loyalty... Your loyalty."
"Yes." Said Sombra.
"Prince Thori, you invited yourself into our country, and we welcomed you as our guest. But I believe your intentions are... deceitful."
Twilight raised an eyebrow when she heard her father say that.
"You're a grave danger to Canterlot and you shall be dealt with as such." He continued.
"Dad, what are you saying?" Twilight asked.
"Enough, Twilight!" Nightlight told his daughter "Sombra told me of Prince Thori's ambition."
Then Thorax took notice of the staff in Sombra's right hoof.
"His staff." Thorax said to himself quietly.
"He's here for my throne. Shining armour!"
Then Thorax ran up to Sombra and grabbed his staff. He then smashed it on the ground releasing some dark magic. Then the dark magic slowly faded away. And the sultan was shaking his head after that event.
"Dad?" Twilight said looking at her father.
"What happened?" Nightlight asked confused on what happened.
"He had you under a spell." Thorax told him.
"He's not to be trusted, your Majesty." Said Sombra as he slowly nacked away to a door.
"He wants your throne." Said Thorax.
"Sombra! You were my most trusted advisor." Nightlight said feeling betrayed. "Shining armour! Put him in the dungeon!" He yelled.
"Yes, your Majesty." Said Shining armour as he and his men placed him in the dungeon. And Garble flew to get the keys.
In the dungeon.
Sombra was placed in a cell.
"You should think about how quickly the sands of power shift in a storm, Shining." Sombra told him.
"I am loyal to my sultan, as you should have been. The law is the law." Said Shining armour as he walked away with his men.
Then Sombra looked up and saw Garble with the keys to his cell in his mouth.
And Sombra had an evil smile on his face.

Thorax had a talk with the sultan after Sombra's arrest.
"Prince Thori, I must apologize." Said the sultan.
"Well, your Highness, there's something I'd like to explain." Thorax said slowly.
"Your honor and integrity will never again be questioned here in Canterlot."
"I... well..."
"A more noble and sincere young stallion has never graced the chambers of this place."
"Well, uh..." Said Thorax, then the genie tapped on his back.
"I..."
"I would be honored to call you my son." Said the sultan.
"Ooh!" Said the genie.
"If that were something anypony wanted." Said the sultan looking at his daughter, and she smiled happily.
Back in Thorax's room
"So, you got the mare." Said the genie floating around "I had my doubts after your whole jam debacle. But you pulled yourself back together a little bit.
"I did, didn't I?" Thorax asked looking at him "I think I finally got the hang of being a Prince." He said.
"Well, that's not exactly what I meant."
"You were right! Ponies see what they wanna see. Thorax is gone. I'm Prince Thori now."
"Oh, so you got it all figured out now, huh, kid?"
"And, you know, I was thinking about my last wish, and I just can't do this without you." Thorax chuckled "I know I told you I'd use it to set you free, but I can't let everything we worked for fall apart."
"So, you just never tell her the truth? Your just gonna keep lying?" The genie asked with a sad look.
"It's not a lie. Ponies can change." Thorax told him.
"They can change alright." Said the genie looking at the carpet and Abu.
"And that's a bad thing?" Thorax asked. "Everything is better now. Nopony got hurt. You'd rather me be back on the streets stealing to survive?" He asked again.
"I thought you'd be happy for me." Said Thorax feeling a bit disappointed. "But all you cared about was that I use my last wish to set you free." He finished.
"Well, kid, I don't care nothin' about that last wish." Said the genie looking at him. "This is about you, what's happening to you. You'd rather lie to somepony you love, than give all of this up." He told him.
"You don't get it, genie." Said Thorax walking up to him "Ponies like me don't get anything except by pretending." He finished.
"I think maybe you don't get it." Said the genie as he touched his chest "The more you gain by pretending, the less you're actually gonna have. In 10000 years, I have never once, ever called the master a friend." He told him.
Thorax looked on the ground slowly.
"I broke the rules for you, I saved your life. And for what? You are breaking my heart here, kid." Said the genie, then he returned inside his lamp.
"Genie, no! Come on!" Said Thorax grabbing the lamp, and he sighed in annoyance.
The carpet and Abu looked at each other for a while then back at Thorax.
Thorax shook his head and placed the lamp back in his satchel. Then he left the castle with Abu.
Unknown to them, Garble saw the lamp in Thorax's satchel, he then flew back to Sombra's library.
"Lamp. Lamp. Master. Lamp."
Thorax was walking in town and back to his home.
"Who does he think he is? He's supposed to serve me." Thorax said to himself "I'm the same as I always was on the inside. Right, Abu?" Thorax asked him.
But then a stallion pushed a yellow curtain in front of Thorax which made him close his eyes. Then the stallion grabbed the lamp in his satchel and left.
"Hey!" Thorax said looking at the stallion. Then he turned back around and walked back into his home.
In an alleyway
Sombra took off his hood, and pulled out the lamp he stole from Thorax. He rubbed the lamp and the genie came out of it. And he hit an archway.
"Ow! Are you kidding?" The genie complained rubbing his head. "Now, why would you rub the thing under the..." The genie stopped his sentence when he saw a dark metal stallion.
Then Sombra let out an evil laughter.
In Thorax's home
Thorax was sitting on his homes balcony, remembering what the genie said to him.
Thorax: Riffraff. Street rat. Would they think that. If they look much closer? Still, I can't play a Prince here. No, siree. Gotta tell the truth I can't pretend. Even if it means this dream will end. Even if she walks away. From me.
Then Thorax looked at the castle.

Sombra's wishes and speechless part 2
The Royal guards opened the doors into the castle and the sultan, Princess Twilight, Starlight and the guards saw Sombra.
"Sombra." Said the sultan. "You should have left Canterlot while you had the chance." He finished. Then four more royal guards stood near Sombra.
"Why leave when this city belongs to me now?" Sombra asked.
"It's over Sombra." Said the sultan.
"Good for you." Said Garble. Then Sombra stood up with the lamp in his left hoof.
"I've endured your spineless incompetence for long enough now." Said Sombra.
"Shining armour." Said the sultan.
"Old fool." Said Garble with an evil smile.
Then Sombra began rubbing the lamp, and green smoke began coming out of it. Then the green smoke got bigger and a genie appeared in front of them, which made everypony in the room gasp.
Starlight recognized the genie. He was the one who asked her out. And the genie looked at everypony with a sad face.
"Genie! For my first wish, I wish to become the sultan of Canterlot!" Sombra yelled.
"What?" Nightlight asked in confusion.
"As you wish master." Said the genie.
"No." Said Twilight quietly and terrified.
Then magic started to surround Sombra, then a shock wave was made which knocked off Nightlight's hat.
Thorax heard the noise from his home. He then looked in his satchel and saw that the lamp wasn't there. He then remembered the time when he past a stallion wearing a hood, and he realized that it was Sombra. He was the one who took the lamp away from him. Then Thorax ran to the castle.
Back inside the castle
The magic ended and Sombra had a new cloth and hat on him, and a throne was summond behind him. Then the genie returned in his lamp.
"Shining armour." Nightlight called him, then Shining looked him, but then Sombra called him.
"Shining armour!" Sombra called. Then he looked at him "You obey the sultan, so you obey me now."
Shining then looked back at Nightlight with an apologetic look.
"You know the law Shining armour!"
Then Shining armour looked back at Sombra.
"My sultan!" He said as he bowed with his guards.
"My sultan!" Said the guards.
"Shining armour. Marshal an army to invade Fillydelphia."
"Fillydelphia?" Nightlight asked in shocked.
"No! You can't!" Twilight yelled.
"I think we've heard enough from you, Princess. It's time you start doing what you should have done all along. Stay silent." Said Sombra with a serious look.
Twilight's eyes widened in shock when she heard him say that.
"Guards, remove her!"
The guards tried to grab princess Twilight, but Spike growled at them which made them back off. Starlight tried to help them but a guard grabbed her hoof.
"Control that pest, if you know what's good for you." Sombra said with another serious look.
"Spike."
When Spike heard Twilight, he immediately stopped and looked at Twilight with a sad look.
"Spike. It's alright."
Then Sombra smiled evily, and a guard grabbed her hoof.
"Don't touch her!" Nightlight begged.
"Dad." Said Twilight as she looked at him. Then Nightlight silenced and the guard pulled her away.
"Twilight."
Spike growled sadly when he saw Twilight being pulled away by the guards, and Starlight freed herself from the guards grip.
When Twilight was being pulled away by the guards, she remembered what Sombra said to her.
'And understand it's better for you to be seen and not heard. I think we've heard enough from you, Princess. Stay silent.' She remembered.
Twilight Sparkle: Written in stone ev'ry rule, ev'ry word. Centuries old and unending. Stay in your place. Better seen and not heard. But now that story is ending. Cause I cannot start to crumble. So come on and try. Try to shut me and cut me down.
"Twilight!" Nightlight yelled trying to help his daughter. But the guards held him in place, and Sombra turned around with an evil smile.
Twilight Sparkle: I won't be silenced. You can't keep me quiet. Won't tremble when you try it. All I know is I won't go speechless. Speechless. Let the storm in. I cannot be broken. No, I won't live unspoken. Cause I know that I won't go speechless. Try to lock me in this cage. I won't just lay me down and die. I will take these broken wings. And watch me burn across the sky. Hear the echoes saying. I won't be silenced. Though you wanna see me tremble when you try it. All I know is I won't go speechless. Speechless. Cause I'll breath. When they try to suffocate me. Don't you underestimate me. Cause I know that I won't go speechless. All I know is I won't go speechless. Speechless.
"Shining armour! Shining armour!" Twilight called him. Then she broke free of the two guards grip.
Shining armour turned around when he heard her.
"Take her away!" Sombra ordered. "Tell them, Shining armour." He ordered again.
Then Shining armour raised his hoof in front of Sombra, telling him to be quiet. Then he ordered the two guards to back away from her.
Then Twilight began walking to the castle's entrance, and she tried to get Shining armour to listen to her.
"You were just a colt, when your father came to work the grounds. But you have risen up to become our most trusted soldier. As a stallion, I know you to be both loyal and just. But now you have to choose. Duty isn't always honor. Our greatest challenge isn't speaking up against out enemies, but defying those whose approval we seek the most." Said Twilight. "Sombra is not worthy of your admiration nor your sacrifice." She told him.
"I wish nothing but glory for the kingdom of Canterlot." Said Sombra glaring at her.
"No. You seek glory for yourself." Twilight said angrily. "And you would win it off the backs of my ponies!" She yelled.
"Shining armour, these men, they will follow where you lead, but it's up to you. Will you stand silent while Sombra destroys our beloved kingdom or will you do what is right, and stand with the ponies of Canterlot?"
Nightlight was really proud of her daughter when he heard her saying that to Shining armour.
Then Shining armour began to think about what to do, will he listen to the princess or Sombra.
Then he looked up and made up his mind.
"My princess. Forgive me, my sultan." He said as he took a bow. Then he turned and looked at Sombra.
"Shining armour." Said Sombra.
"Guards, arrest the vizier!" Said Shining armour. Then his men began to approach him. Then Garble flew next to Sombra.
"Lamp! Rub the lamp." Said Garble.
"So, this is how it will be." Sombra said as he rubbed the lamp. "Not even the title of sultan will wake the herd from their sleep, I should've known." He finished. Then the genie came out of the lamp.
"If you won't bow before a sultan, you will cower before a sorcerer." Said Sombra. Then he looked at the genie and made his second wish.
"Genie! I wish to become the most powerful sorcerer there is!"
"As you wish, Master." Thr grnie nodded, then a magic aura began to surround Sombra again.
Thorax, Abu and the carpet have successfully snuck into the castle again, and he saw the genie casting a spell on Sombra.
Then a snake slithered underneath his throne, and it rose up and turned into a staff, and Sombra had new cloths on him.
"This could be fun." Said Garble with an evil smile.
"Shining armour, I had such big plans for you." Sombra said as he got off the throne.
Thorax noticed the lamp on the throne and he waited for the right moment to grab it.
The genie looked to his right and saw Thorax. And he know what he was gonna do, so he immediately told him not to take the risk, but Thorax shook his head.
"But now, you are no longer of any use to me. Perhaps your men would like to follow you to the dungeon." Said Sombra with an evil look.
Then Shining armour unsheathed his sword. But before he could advance him, Sombra tapped the floor with his staff, which made Shining armour and his men disappear. Spike tried to charge at him.
"You too." Said Sombra as he tapped on the floor with his staff again, and Spike disappeared as well.
When Thorax saw his perfect chance, he immediately ran to grab the lamp, but Garble noticed him.
"Prince Thori!" Garble warned Sombra.
Then Sombra tapped the floor again and Thorax was froze in place by the magic surrounding him.
"If it isn't our Prince Thori." Said Sombra.
"Thori!" Twilight gasped.
"Or should I say." Then Sombra tapped on the floor again and Thorax was teleported in front of them, his white cloths were taken off from Sombra's teleportation. "Thorax." Sombra finished.
Then Thorax looked up at Twilight with a shameful look.
"Thorax." Twilight gasped.
"He's been pretending the entire time." Sombra told them "An imposter. There is no Prince Thori. There never was. He's nothing but a lying thief."
Twilight was looking down at him with a sad look.
"I'm sorry." Said Thorax sadly.
"You're insignificant. An irritation I no longer need to tolerate, once I ensure your agonizing death, by banishing you to an icy and cold place." Said Sombra as he tapped the floor again with his staff. Then magic started to surround Thorax.
"No!" Twilight yelled.
"Ahhhh!" Thorax yelled in pain, then he was teleported to an icy and cold place.
Thorax looked around him and got up, and he saw that he was in a place with snow and snow mountains.
"No." Said Thorax as he got up "Abu. Abu!" Thorax yelled.
Back in the castle
Nightlight, Twilight and Starlight were shocked to see Thorax being banished by Sombra.
"I could simply kill you all." Sombra said looking at them evily "But that would be inadequate repayment..."
The carpet tapped it's edge on the genie's back. The genie looked at Sombra first and saw that he wasn't looking at him. He then quietly clapped his hooves together and the carpet was teleported to Thorax's location.
"For years of humiliation and neglect. Remember your place, Sombra. You forget yourself, Sombra." Sombra said remembering the words that the sultan said to him.
"Sombra." Said Nightlight.
"No, what you need, father, is to suffer. Like I have suffered" Said Sombra as he tapped the floor with his staff. Then magic began to strangle him.
"Dad?" Twilight asked looking at her father with a worried look.
"Would watching me rule your kingdom be enough?" Sombra asked.
"Stop!" Twilight begged him.
"Or watching my armies devour your toothless ally?" He asked again.
"Please, make it stop." Twilight begged again.
"No, the most suitable punishment would be to make you watch while I take what you love most."
"No. No, please. Dad." Said Twilight worried about her father.
"And marry your daughter." Sombra finished.
Then Twilight looked at him with a shocked expression. Because Sombra is forcing her to marry him.
"No!" Starlight yelled walking forward. But Sombra tapped on the floor with his staff again and magic started to strangle her as well.
"No. " Said the genie with a worried look.
"She...will...never...marry...you." Nightlight said slowly trying to fight the magic.
Then Sombra increased the strength of the magic and Nightlight was in more pain.
"Dad." Said Twilight worriedly "I will do as you wish!" Said Twilight as she stood up.
"Make it stop."
Then Sombra deactivated his staff and the magic on Nightlight and Starlight's neck was gone, and they fell on the floor while gasping for breath.
"Dad!" Said Twilight worriedly checking her father with Starlight.
"Dad, are you alright?" Twilight asked again.
"Twilight." Said Nightlight weakily.
Then Sombra turned around and looked at the genie.

Thorax was looking for Abu in the icy and cold place. He was covering his body with his wings to get a bit warmer.
"Abu!" Thorax yelled looking around the icy place. Then he looked down an icy edge and he found Abu standing on a small icy cliff shivering.
Then Thorax jumped down the edge and stood on the edge where Abu was.
"Abu." Said Thorax placing him behind his shelled wing. "Are you okay?" He asked. And Abu nodded.
"Let's get out of here." Said Thorax looking around to see if there was a way to get out of where he is.
But then, he heard the cliff he was standing on cracking.
"Uh oh." Thorax said quietly. Then the cliff broke and Thorax slid down a snowhill. Then he fell on an edge of a cliff and lost his conciousness.
But then the carpet flew towards him and Thorax opened his eyes when he felt the carpet flying above him. Then the carpet picked him up and they flew back to Canterlot.
Canterlot castle
Sombra and Twilight's wedding was held at the large balcony of the castle. Sombra was in a red suit, and Twilight was in a beautiful purple dress. Two guards were putting Nightlight on the ground so he couldn't help his daughter. Starlight was standing behind Sombra with her head down. And a stallion announcer began talking.
"Your Highness, Sultan, in honesty and sincerity, do you accept Princess Twilight...?" The announcer was soon cut off when Sombra raised his left hoof.
"Yes. Yes, I accept." He said without emotion.
Twilight was looking at the lamp in his satchel.
"Princess." Sombra finished.
"Princess Twilight, do you accept the sultan to be your husband?" The announcer asked looking at her.
Then Twilight looked at Starlight and she gave a look of sorrow at her, but she saw the magic carpet flying towards them.
"Come on, Mare. Accept." Said Sombra losing his patience.
Twilight looked at him and said "I..."
Nightlight tried to help her daughter but two guards stopped him.
Then Sombra walked up to her and placed his hoof on her chin, so that she can look up at him.
"Yes?" He said with an evil smile.
"I..." Then Twilight reached the lamp in his satchel and grabbed it. "Do not!" Then she ran towards the end of the balcony.
"The lamp! The lamp!" Said Garble.
Sombra looked down at his satchel and saw the lamp taken by her.
"Hey! Stop her!" Sombra yelled.
"No, Twilight! No!" Yelled Nightlight. But she jumped down the balcony leaving all of the ponies shocked.
Then Sombra looked down at the balcony and saw that Twilight was caught by the magic carpet and she flew away with Thorax and the lamp. And Nightlight was smiling happily.
"The lamp! Garble!"
When Garble heard his master, he immediately flew after the carpet.
"Are you okay?" Thorax asked her.
"Yes." She replied. Then they flew to town.
Sombra closed his eyes and took control of Garble and when the control happened, Garble transformed into a giant dragon.
"Hold on!" Thorax told her.
Garble tried to grab them by his claws, but the carpet flew down and avoided the dragons attempt. Then they flew through shops surprising many ponies. But then the carpet knocked over a table and the lamp fell out of Twilight's hoof and on the ground.
"The lamp!" Said Twilight looking at the lamp.
"Abu!" Said Thorax.
When Abu heard Thorax, he immediately jumped off the carpet and ran to grab the lamp.
Garble was chasing the carpet through town and in the air. But then the carpet flew into an alleyway making Garble stop in his track.
Back to Abu
Abu had found the lamp, and he held it in his paws. But then he saw Garble getting up and looking at him angrily.
"The lamp!" Garble roared.
Then Abu ran away and climbed on a roof of a house, and he kept running.
"Carpet, get me up there!" Said Thorax.
Then the carpet climbed up a few feet, and Thorax jumped onto the roof where Abu was running.
"Abu!" Thorax called him as he and him ran away from Garble.
Then Thorax grabbed the lamp from Abu's tail, and turned around and saw Garble closing in on them.
"Jump!" Thorax yelled.
Then Thorax and Abu jumped, but Garble caught Thorax by his hoof and he snatched the lamp away from him, and Thorax and Abu fell back on the carpet. And the carpet tried to catch up to the large dragon.
Back on the castle's balcony
Nightlight saw that the two guards weren't paying attention at him. So he took his chance and ran up to Sombra and nudged him making him drop his staff over the balcony.
"No!" Said Sombra. Then he lost control of Garble.
Back to Thorax, Twilight and Abu
Once Sombra had lost his control on Garble. He has turned back to his normal size and he was having a hard time trying to fly because the lamp was too heavy for him.
Then the carpet flew up to the dragon and Abu jumped off of the carpet and grabbed the lamp out of his claws. Then he landed back on Thorax's back.
Back on the castle's balcony
Nightlight was being pulled away by the two guards.
"Your nothing without your staff!" He yelled "Nothing!"
But he spoke to soon because the lamp magically floated back in Sombra's right hoof, which shocked Nightlight. Then a dark storm was summond by him.
Back to Thorax, Twilight and Abu
The storm had reached the town, which made everypony run away in fear. Then the storm got to the carpet and them and it began pulling them in. The carpet managed to grab hold of a wooden scaffold but the lamp was dropped again and it got picked up by Garble.
"The lamp!" Twilight yelled .
Suddenly, the carpet's got torn apart by the storm and it pulled them in.
"Carpet!" Thorax yelled.
Then the storm pulled Thorax, Twilight, Abu and the torn carpet back on the castle's balcony, and they crashed onto the floor.
"Twilight." Said Nightlight with a worried expression.
Then Garble returned the lamp to, Sombra and he held it in his hooves.
"Punish them. Punish them." Said Garble with an evil smile. Then Sombra turned around.
"Genie should witness." Grable added.
Then Sombra rubbed the lamp and the genie came out of it again, and Abu hid behind a tree cowering in fear.
"As the old stallion said, you should have left Canterlot when you had the chance." Said Sombra. Then he pointed his hooves at Nightlight and a magic aura lifted him up the air. And another magic aura held Starlight in the air as well. And finally Twilight was held in the air by the magic aura.
Thorax was looking at Twilight with a worried expression.
"I told you before changeling. To think bigger, you could have been the most powerful creature in the room. But now I hold the lamp. I hold the power." Sombra told him.
Then Thorax looked at the genie, and the genie showed the golden cuffs on his hooves. Then he looked at Sombra again.
"You can't find what you're looking for in that lamp, Sombra. I tried and failed, and so will you." He told him.
"You think so, but I am sultan!" He yelled "I am the greatest sorcerer Equestria has ever seen. I will create an empire that history cannot ignore. I can destroy cities." He said walking down the stairs with an evil smile. "I can destroy kingdoms." Sombra told him. Then his staff flew to his left hoof and he tapped the ground with it, and Thorax was teleported right in front of him. And magic began to surround his neck.
"And I can destroy you." Said Sombra, then his staff began to glow brighter.
"True. But who made you a sultan? Who made you a sorcerer?" Thorax asked "There will always be something, some stallion, some being, more powerful than you." Said Thorax.
"What are you doing?" The genie asked with a scared expression.
"Genie gave you your power, and he can take it away." Thorax told him.
"He serves me!" Sombra yelled.
"For now. But you'll never have more power than the genie." Thorax told him. Then Sombra increased the strength of the magic and Thorax grunted.
"You said it yourself. You are either the most powerful in the room, or your nothing. You'll always be second." Thorax told him.
"Second! Second!" Garble said with an evil laughter.
Then Sombra deactivated his staff, and the magic on Thorax's neck vanished and he breathed.
"Second? Only second?" Sombra asked. "He serves, me!" He yelled. Then he walked away from Thorax and looked at the genie.
"I will make sure nopony will ever say these words again." Said Sombra as he began rubbing the lamp.
"Genie! For my final wish, I wish to become the most powerful being in the universe. More powerful than you!" Said Sombra looking at the genie with an evil smile.
"A lot of gray area in that wish, but, uh, the most powerful being in the universe, coming right up!" Said the genie. Then magic began surrounding Sombra.
"Hahahaha!" Sombra laughed evily. Then a pack of black smoke with red thunder surrounded him, and finally he turned into a large genie.
"Hahahaha! The most powerful in the universe, at last, second to nopony. And I thought I had power before! First, I'll lay waste to those fools in Fillydelphia." Said Sombra as he flew up and summond a giant magical ball. But before he could make it any bigger two magic chains clamped onto his hooves.
"What have you done to me?" Sombra asked looking at the chains.
"I haven't done anything to you, Sombra." Said Thorax looking at him.
"What have you done to me?" He asked again angrily.
"This is your wish, not mine." He told him "A genie might have phenomenal cosmic powers..."
"But an itty-bitty living space. You see, a genie with out a master, goes back in their lamp." The genie told him.
Then another lamp was made, and it began pulling him in.
"No! Not the lamp! I will not forget you, changeling! Mark my words, I will not forget what you have done to me!"
"Goodbye, Sombra!" Said Garble flying away.
"Dragon! Your coming with me!" Said Sombra grabbing Garble. Then he and Garble got sucked into the lamp.
The Twilight, Nightlight and Starlight were released from the magic aura, and all the dark magic were sucked into the lamp where Sombra and Garble were in.
"Dad." Said Twilight running to check her father. Thorax helped him up and placed him on the fountain's barrier.
"Couple thousand years in the Cave of Wonders ought to cool you off." Said the genie. Then he threw the lamp, and it flew to the Cave of Wonders.
Then Abu looked at the carpet with a sad face. Then he pulled it to the genie.
Once Thorax placed Nightlight on the fountain's barrier, he walked away. But Nightlight stopped him.
"Wait. Wait. How can I ever thank you?" Nightlight asked.
"Oh, no. No, you don't need to thank me. But I hope you accept my apology. I'm sorry for the both of you." Said Thorax. Then he looked at Twilight and she looked at him back. "Especially you.You deserve so much."
"We all make mistakes." Said Nightlight.
Thorax nodded and he walked to the genie.
"Thorax?" Said Twilight.
When Thorax heard Twilight calling him, he immediately stopped and turned around. But she didn't say anything.
"I hope you find what your looking for." Thorax smiled at her, then he walked to the lamp and grabbed it. Then he walked to the genie.
"Ooh, that's a bit of a mess there, Abu." Said the genie looking at the ruined carpet "Let me take care of that for you." Said the genie as magic began surrounding it, and the carpet came back to life. Abu smiled happily when he saw the carpet coming back to life. He then jumped on it, and they hugged each other happily.
Then Thorax walked in front if the genie.
"Ah, ah. No, long faces, alright? I got an idea. Alright? This is your last wish. Royalty was the right idea okay? We should just tiff on that a little bit. Alright, here's what I'm thinking." Said the genie as he transformed into Thorax with a bow and arrow in his left hoof.
"Thorax, warrior Prince, a noble heart in a land where thieves run feral! Twilight!" Said the genie as he fired a magic arrow. Then he returned to his normal self. And Thorax was starring at him with an annoyed face.
"No? Okay, alright. I hear you loud and clear. But this is what you need." Said the genie as a script was summond in his right hoof. Then he began scrolling down "The governing laws of Canterlot by royal decree. Okay? Here it is." Said the genie pointing at the law.
"Must marry a prince. Right. But you say the words and this law just, kinda like goes away. And you and the princess will be together forever."
"You can just make the law disappear?" Thorax asked.
The genie scoffed and said "Please. Like it never existed."
Then Thorax smiled when he heard that.
"Alright. Last wish, let's get to it." Said the genie feeling excited.
"Okay. My last wish. Genie..."
"I'm ready, hold on. Here we go."
"I wish..."
"Third and final wish."
"I wish to set you free."
"What?" The genie asked with a confused look when he heard that. Then the magical golden chains on his hooves unclamped and fell on the ground, and disappeared.
"What? Wait." Said the genie. Then the genie became a dark green changeling.
"Wait, am I?" He asked. Then he looked at Thorax, and he smiled to him. "Wait, wait, wait. Tell me to do something." He said.
"Get me some jam." Said Thorax.
"Get it yourself?" The genie said with a nervous expression. But nothing happened. Then he laughed "Get your own jam!"
Then Thorax walked up to the genie and hugged him and he hugged back.
"Thank you. Thank you."
"No, thank you, genie. I owe you everything." Said Thorax. Then they released "So, what are you gonna do now?" Thorax asked him.
The the genie looked at Starlight, and she looked back at him with a smile on her face.
"Actually, there is this hoofmaiden, that I would love to travel the world with. If she'll have me." Said the genie.
Then Starlight looked at Twilight and she nodded to her with a happy face. Then she looked back at the genie and asked "When do we leave? Also, I want children."
"Yes. Two of them."
"Cora and Olive, three years apart. They will worship us both and asks lots of questions and you will entertain them with stories and songs."
"And he's handsome like me. Also a boat." Said the genie.
"A large one with multiple levels, and magnificent sails." Said Starlight.
"I was thinking of a smaller one." Said the genie.
"Perfect." Said Starlight as she nodded.
"Sit with me, my foal." Said Nightlight.
Twilight did what her father told and sat on the floor.
"I'm sorry." Said Nightlight.
"Dad, why are you...?"
"Please, let me finish." He said "I feared losing you. Like I lost your mother. All I saw was my little star, not the mare you have become. You have shown me courage and strength. You are the future of Canterlot." Said Nightlight. Then he pulled a ring out of his hoof and gave it to his daughter.
"You shall be the next sultan." He said. Then Twilight grabbed the ring, and Nightlight kissed her hoof.
Then Twilight stood up and looked at her father with a happy look.
"Thank you, dad."
"And as sultan, you may change the law. He is a good stallion changeling." Said Nightlight. Then Twilight kissed her father on the forehead.
The carpet tapped on the genie's shoulder with it's edge. The genie turned around and saw the carpet pointing behind him. When the genie and Starlight looked behind them, they saw Thorax and Abu gone.
"Where did he go?" The genie asked looking around.
Outside of the castle
Thorax exited the castle and began to walk back home with Abu. He then looked at the golden hair band from Twilight.
"Stop, thief. Your sultan commands it." Said Twilight.
When Thorax heard Twilight, he turned around and looked at her, and he saw her walking towards him with a serious expression.
"Sultan? Does that mean I'm in trouble?" Thorax asked showing her her golden hair band in his right hoof.
Then Twilight walked in front of him with a smile on her face.
"Only because you got caught."
Then they kissed and everypony looked at them and clapped.
And a wedding was held in the castle for them. And after the announcer pronounced them husband and wife, everypony clapped and cheered.

Well here we have it folks. My new story has come to a conclusion, I hope you all enjoyed it. This has got to be another one of my favourite stories I have wrote.
And also, I do not own the video I am using for the final chapter. It belongs to it's rightful owner.
Prolouge, Canterlot night
One day.
There was a boat sailing across the sea. And on there were one stallion, one mare, one colt and one filly.
"Hey look! Over there!" Said the colt as he as he and the filly went to the right side of the boat and saw a large ship sailing on their right.
"Their ship is so big." Said the filly.
"Wish ours was that fancy." Said the colt.
"I'd be so happy if ours was that fancy. cause then-"
"Why is that? Because it looks better?" Asked a stallion. "This boat has seen us through many storm. It may not look like much, but it has something theirs never will."
"What? Wood rot and rats?" Asked the colt.
"Are the foals learning something, dear?" the mare asked her husband.
"It is unclear." Said the stallion as he walked up to his son and daughter.
"Alright, sit children." Said the stallion pointing at a place for them to sit.
They did what their father told them to do and sat in front of him.
"I think it's time that I told you the story of Thorax, the princess and the lamp." Said the stallion.
"What's so special about a lamp?" The filly asked her father.
"This is a magic lamp." He told them.
"Maybe if you sing." Said the colt.
"It's better when you sing." Said the filly agreeing with her brother.
But then the father refused.
"No, no. No singing. It's been a long day." As he got up and climbed up the ladder onto the the top of the ship.
But then he began singing.
Father: Oh, imagine a land, it's a far away place. Where caravan camels roam. Where you wander among every culture and tongue. It's chaotic but hey, it's home. When the wind's from the east . And the sun from the west. And the sand in the glass is right. Come on down, stop on by, hop a carpet and fly. To another Canterlot Night.

Then the camera zooms into Canterlot kingdom, and there were lots of ponies doing their work. And there was a monkey running around the streets.
Father: As you wind through the streets. And the fabled bazaars. With the cardamom-cluttered stalls. You smell every spice, while you haggle the price. Of the silks and the satin shawls. The music that plays as you move through a maze. In the haze of your pure delight. You are caught in a dance, you are lost in the trance. Of another Canterlot nights. Like Canterlot days. More often than not are hotter than hot. In a lot of good ways. Canterlot nights. Like Canterlot dreams. This mystical land of magic and sand. Is more than it seems. There's a road that may lead you to good or greed through the power your wishing commands. Let the darkness unfold or find fortunes untold. Well, your destiny lies in your hooves.
Then the camera zooms into a cave which was a shape of a manticore.
"Only one may enter here. One whose worth lies far within. The diamond in the rough." Said a deep and scary voice.
Father: Canterlot nights. Like Canterlot days. They seem to excite take off and take flight. To shock and amaze.
Then the cave closed it's mouth.
"Seek thee out the diamond in the rough." Said the deep and scary voice again.
Father: Canterlot nights. Neath Canterlot moons. A fool off his guard, could fall and fall hard. Out there on the dunes.
11:30am, Canterlot market.
In the market of Canterlot. There were many ponies shopping and doing their work, and a stallion changeling named Thorax was looking at plates in one of the store, then a mare walked up to him.
"What's your monkey's name?" She asked.
"Abu." Said Thorax.
Then the mare extended her hoof out at the monkey and gently patted him, and Abu liked it.
"He's a lovely monkey." Said the mare. Then Abu climbed on her.
"That's a lovely necklace." Said Thorax.
"So, where does Abu come from?" She asked.
"He..." Said Thorax as he grabbed a glass bottle from a mare next to the mare he was talking to.
"I think this belongs to me." Said Thorax.
Then the mares walked away and Abu climbed back on Thorax's back.
"Good day, mares."
Then Thorax saw the mare talking to a stallion.
"Okay." Said Thorax backing away.
The stallion walked up to him and Thorax ran away and Abu began climbing on houses.
"Abu." Said Thorax jumping over stores, then Abu jumped back onto his back, and they climbed over a wall and they escaped.
"How'd we do, Abu?" Thorax asked his monkey friend.
Then Abu gave him a 'Nice work' response.
"Good monkey." Said Thorax as he continued walking.
"Stop right there, Thorax. Whatever it is you stole today, I don't want it." Said a mare.
"Whoa, whoa. I didn't steal anything." He chuckled "It's a family heirloom that's worth a lot." He told her.
"I'll give you a bag of dates for it, nothing more." Said the mare returning to her work.
"Zulla, we both know it's worth at least three bags." Thorax told her.
"Take the bag of dates and get out!" She said throwing him the bag of dates and he grabbed it.
"Go!"
Thorax was walking through the streets of Canterlot with the bag of dates in his hooves.
"Move it, you street rat." Said a stallion.
Thorax did as he told and moved out of the way, then he leaned on the wall and began feeding Abu.
"Here you go, Abu." Said Thorax giving him food and Abu ate it.
Then he noticed that a colt was looking up at him, and he looked back and gave the colt the bag of dates and he smiled happily and Thorax gave him a 'shhh" face, then he walked away.
Thorax went to another market place in Canterlot.
"Come here!" Said a stallion.
"Fresh fish! We catch them, you buy them!"
Then a mare grabbed a food "Try this, please. Please."
The mare turned and saw a colt and a filly.
"Hello." Said the mare rubbing the fillies cheek.
"Are you hungry?" The mare asked.
The foals nodded.
"Here take some bread." Said the mare as she gave them breads. They smiled and ran off with the bread, but a stallion saw them and pointed at the mare.
"Hey!" A stallion yelled at the mare.
"You steal from my brother." Said the stallion. Which attract Thorax and many other ponies attention.
The mare was a bit terrified.
"Stealing? No, I..."
"You pay, or I take the bracelet."
"Sir, I don't have any bits." Said the mare.
Then he grabbed the mare's left hoof and attempted to grab her bracelet.
"Let go of me!" Said the mare trying to struggle free from the stallion's grip. Then Thorax got in between them.
"No. Whoa! Take it easy, Jamal." Said Thorax.
"Kalil walks away from the stall. And this one, this one, She steals the bread." Said the stallion.
"Those foals were hungry!" The mare shot back.
"I-"
"Okay, give me a minute." Said Thorax trying to help out.
"You keep your little street rat muzzle out of it! Huh?"
Then Thorax looked back at the mare.
"Do you have any bits?" He whispered to her.
"No."
"Okay, trust me." Said Thorax as he grabbed the mares bracelet.
"Hey!"
"This is what you wanted, right?" Asked Thorax giving him the bracelet.
"Yeah. Thank you." Said the stallion as he tucked the bracelet into his left pocket.
"Okay, and an apple. For your troubles." Said Thorax throwing an apple in the air, and the stallion caught it.
"Nice!"
"That was my..." The mare tried to say something but Thorax grabbed her hoof and dragged her away.
"I'm not leaving without my bracelet!" She told him.
"You mean this bracelet?" Thorax asked showing her her bracelet in his right hoof.
The mare was shocked from seeing that her bracelet was with him.
"Come on."
The stallion placed his hoof in his pocket and saw that he had an apple in his hoof not the bracelet.
"Thorax! Thief with Thorax!" The stallion yelled.
"Are we in trouble?" The mare asked.
"Only if you get caught." He told her.
"Thorax!"
"Down that alley. Monkey knows the way." Said Thorax.
"Guards! Guards!"
"Abu." Said Thorax, then Abu climbed on the mare's head.
"You'll be fine." He told her. Then the mare ran down the alley with Abu.
"They stole from me!"
"Over there! Thorax! Hey you!"
Thorax turned around and showed him the bracelet in his right hoof.
"You looking for this, Jamal?" Thorax asked walking away.
"Thorax, you street rat!" Yelled the stallion.
And the chase begins.

The carpet flew back to Thorax's room, and Thorax was lying on the carpet comfortably with a happy look.
When the genie saw him that look he smiled and said "Woo. I like that face. Good date?"
"The best." He said.
In Twilight's bedroom.
Twilight was lying on her bed with Starlight next to her, talking about her carpet ride with Thorax.
"But it was better than the best." Said Twilight."
Back to Thorax.
"She figured out I was Thorax." He told the genie "You said that wouldn't happen."
"I mean, genie magic is really just a facade." He told him "At some point, real character's always gonna shine through. But that's a good thing right? Noe, she knows."
Thorax smiled slightly and said "Well..."
"Well, what?" The genie asked.
Back to Twilight.
"He told me he was only pretending to be a thief to the city but he's actually a Prince." Said Twilight.
Back to Thorax.
"I convinced her that I really was a Prince." Said Thorax.
"And you believed him?" Starlight asked Twilight.
"And she believed you?" Asked the genie.
"I think so." Said Twilight.
"Eventually, you are going to have to tell her the truth." The genie told him with a serious look.
"Eventually, I will tell her." Said Thorax rolling his eyes. "Anyway, I sort of am a prince now."
"Oh. So, you're gonna drink from that cup." Said the genie drinking a drink in his hoof.
Back in Twilight's bedroom.
"You don't think may be you want to believe him because you have to marry a prince, but you can't marry a thief?" Starlight asked her.
"No, I believe him. I do."
The next day.
It was a sunny day in Canterlot. And Thorax was walking through the palace's hall with Abu on his back.
"When the time is right, I will tell her." Thorax told Abu. But then he encountered two royal guards. And Abu got off of Thorax's back.
"Good morning." Said Thorax nervously.
"Morning." Said a deep voice behind him.
When Thorax turned around, he saw the same royal guard captain who arrested him during the night the snuck in the castle.
"Not again." Thorax sighed in annoyance.
Then the guards arrested him.
