Will 'O' Wisp

Chapter 4: First Mistake

Spike and I talked a little about ourselves but I did leave out that I’m a Alicorn but I did tell him I’m from the ever-free and I could tell he wasn’t telling me everything ether but he did tell me that Twilight hatched him, so we talked to kill sometime before Twilight came up.

“Hay, Twilight you won’t believe where Willow lives” Spike said cheerily when he saw her, I rolled my eye what was I expecting he was a child after all.

“The Ever-Free Forest Zecora told me.” She said with a knowing voice.

“What else did she tell you?” I asked I was suddenly afraid

“Just something about Will ‘O’ wisps” she said, I giggled a bit at her first time saying Will ‘O’ Wisp

“It’s Will ‘O’ Wisp or Will ‘O’ the Wisp” I replied “and it what I need help with, I can wake them but I lost control last time I did”

“Wake them, with your magic?” she asked, I nodded and looked down where my cutie mark is but could see for the cloak “It’s my talent” I replied

Twilight was mumbling to herself “Will ‘O’ Wisp where have I heard of it before?”  I looked down at Spike and he shrugged his shoulders “Spike” he snapped his head towards Twilight “Can you find me that book on Ponyvile’s myths and legends and can you send a letter to the princess”

“Saying what?” asked Spike

“To ask if she has heard of the Will ‘O’ Wisp and say if for a pony I’m helping”

“Oh for Willow” he said before running out of the room. This isn’t going to well for my liking the princess is bound to know who I am after the first run in with the Will ‘O’ Wisp.

“Well Willow” Twilight said to gain my attention “Can you show me what you can already do?”

I sigh “I can but the scream when they die and they don’t like the sun light” I said as I shut all the curtains and the door with my sight forest green magic.

“They scream?” she asked as I shut my eyes I just nodded. She sighed “you came to me for help I need to see what you can already do.” I smiled at that part and focussed on the parasprite i conjured  last night but changed it a bit so it wasn’t the same one

“Not again never…” I mumbled before I realized I was saying it out loud.

“What?” asked Twilight “Oh”   I open my eyes to see a green flaming parasprite Will ‘O’ Wisp flying around the room.   “Are they all like that?”

“No this one is just a parasprite, my favoured is a phoenix.”

“A phoenix” she asked, she was starting to sound worried. I nodded before adding that the bigger one are the ones that I have trouble with, and I don’t know exactly what they are.

“I found it!” Spike’s voice broke the silence that followed my statement we both turned our heads towards the door as he opened it letting sun light hit the Will ‘O’ Wisp. “No” I yell as I was throwing myself on the floor and covering my ears with my hooves, just before a terrified and blood crudely scream filled the air.
