Chapter 5: Meeting New Ponies

“I told you they scream” I sadly said as I helped Twilight up.

“Do they all scream like that?” she asked as she shook her head with one hoof agenised it.

“Only if they touch sun light” Sun light… the door “Spike” I said as I run over to the door to check on him, I can hear Twilight quickly follow me as I stop. “Spike, Spike. Oh please be ok.” I look down at the purple dragon, as a pink blur grasped my attention.

“Twilight I heard a scream is everything ok?”  Said a pink mare, which just came out of the blur, with energy of importance. Her eye caught me sanding over Spike “You!” she pointed at me like she has seen a ghost “You hurt him. You…” she started to come towards I backed up as she did, I hit the wall and the first thing that came to my head fly out of here but I know if I did I blow my cover. So I just cried and fell to the floor I don’t like ponies yelling at me when I didn’t mean to do thing.

“I didn’t did I?” I said though my tears “I didn’t mean to hurt anypony, not last time and not this time… not again”

“You didn’t hurt me just my ears are ringing,” Spike voice broke through my crying. I got a look around the pink mare and saw Spike sitting up with a claw against and the other holding him up. “Pinkie stop scaring my friend”

“Oh she your friend, I didn’t know that. I guess that’s why she reacted like that for friends don’t like hurting friends. Is she from Canterlot? of couse she is for I have never seen her in Ponyvile and I know everypony in Ponyvile. Oh I should though a party one of my ‘Welcome-to-ponyvile’ parties….” She kept talking but I stop listing for she said party. Oh no she is the pony that Zecora tried to make me avoid.

“Twilight, you here?” Came a voice that came from downstairs

“Coming” Twilight yelled back she looked back at Pinkie Pie.

“Oh that will be Rainbow Dash I saw her coming here when I …” Pinkie followed Twilight out of the room.

I walked over to Spike he looked up I smiled sadly “I’m sorry I did tell Twilight that the wisps don’t like sun light, but I forgot to tell you they scream when they die, and that dragons are more sensitive to noise then ponies.”   He looked at me with an eyebrow razed “Sorry, you probably have vertigo.”

“Maybe, if I knew what vertigo is?” He replied.

“You feel dizzy and you can’t stand up without falling over, and there is ringing in your ears.”

“Ok then yes, I want to see what the others are up to, I can normally hear them, but…”

“With the ringing you can’t. Need some help?”

He nodded I used my magic to sit him on my back he griped my mane to hold one “You ok?”

“Fine… it just…”

“What?”

He whispered “It just that I can feel you have wings.”

I sigh I kinder knew this will happen “I will tell the others in my own time, so please not tell the others.”

“I promise” he said. “No I Pinkie Promise” he did something with his hands before ending up with one of his hands on his eye. I raised an eyebrow but took it meant something important so I just nodded.

I walked through the door to see the pink mare looking at Spike not me, “Forever” was all she said before disappearing in to a basket on the floor of the bedroom we were in.

“How?” I asked

“Don’t think do much in to what Pinkie dose.” He replied

We walk to the top of the stirs to see the scene below us.   Twilight was talking to a white unicorn and a cyan Pegasus with rainbow mane. “Who are they?” I asked.

“Rarity is the beautiful unicorn” said Spike with a hit of admiration “and the Pegasus is Rainbow Dash” his tone changed when he talked about Rainbow, it become drier.

The door opened and Zecora was standing there.

“Twilight I heard a scream of fight, did something touch the light.”

“Yep it did” I said from the top of the stirs.

“Now who are you?” asked the white unicorn Rarity

“And why is Spike on your back?” asked the Pegasus Rainbow Dash.

“Spike has vertigo and I’m Willow.”

“Vert-what now?” Asked Rainbow

“Vertigo is dizziness and ringing ears” Twilight said with a knowing voice.

“Oohh that doesn’t sound too good.” Said Pinkie from the pile of book.

“I just hope that the scream wasn’t heard at ‘Sweet Apple Acers’.” I said changing the subject.

“Why?” asked Rainbow and Twilight, as Pinkie and Rarity looked confused, Zecora just looked up with knowledge.

I sigh as I realize that Twilight never got to read the book she asked Spike to get. With a small thought I bought the book from where Spike dropped it in the study. I flicked thought until I found the chapter about “The Spirits of the Forest”, and sent it down to Twilight.

Twilight read though it and her eyes widened. “It says the spirits scream kinder like your wisps.”

I nod “Did you read who wrote that chapter?”  I ask

“Wait, how do you know what’s in the book have you read it before?” asked Rainbow I nod but Zecora was the one who spoke.

“I have this book, but not the same look.”

“What?”

“I think what Zecora is saying, is she has a different version of the book, and I think Willow has read it” Rarity answered Rainbow as I nodded

“The chapter is written by Granny Smith.” Said Twilight with surprise.
