Will 'O' Wisp

Chapter 6: Me talking… um

“Willow dear, why don’t you come down and talk, you seem to know more than you’re letting on” Said Rarity very nicely. I smile and look back at Spike.

“I’m just waiting for the moment to pass.”

“What are you…” Rainbow never got to finish her question for Pinkie cut over her and Spike pulled my mane he was holding on to.

“Ooh. Look Spike has turned green.”  I quickly look around and see a bucket with a mop, I use my magic to take out the water and mop and quickly fly the bucket over to Spike, which he grapes with his other hand and puked up his stomach. I sigh as I make the water disport over the flowers outside. “I’ll be back in a bit.”

I walked back in to Twilight bedroom trying not to jolt Spike too much. I placed him in to the basket, and trotted into the bathroom to get some towels. I returned with three and a smaller bucket, I replaced Spike’s blanket with one towel and with the other two I placed over the edge of the basket and on the floor under the new smaller bucket. I clean out the bigger bucket just as a green flash of light came. I flicked around to see a scroll lying near the bucket. Spike was sitting up he gave me a weak smile.

“Can you give it to Twilight?” he asked I smiled I picked it up with my magic and head towards the door

“Just get some sleep, you’ll feel better after some sleep” I smiled even bigger as he fell back on to his pillow.

I was back at the top of the stairs Zecora had left and it hadn’t surprised me, she did say she had things to do.  The girls were talking to themselves and hadn’t noticed me; I rolled my eyes as I jump of the edge of the landing. I flipped forward once before landing on my feet. I used the momentum to keep the cloak covering my wings.

“Wow that was so cool, even if you didn’t have wings, how did you do that?” Said Rainbow Dash I could tell she was impressed.

“Living in the Everfree you do have to come up with ways to get around.” I replied “Oh and Spike asked if I could give this to you.”  As I made the scroll come into their view.

Twilight took over with her magic to read it as Rarity made a face of disgust I had to giggle “He didn’t get any puke on it.”

I look around I haven’t been around other ponies for such a long time I was feeling edgy, two unicorns and one Pegasus, but there was no Earth Ponies, wait there was a pink one before where did… oh no do not tell me she is setting up a party for me.

Twilight sighed “She says she only heard of the Will ‘O’ Wisp once and they were described as ghostly lights seen by travellers at night, especially over bogs, swamps or marshes. It resembles a flickering lamp and is said to recede if approached, drawing travellers from the safe paths.”

I flicked over to her. “Is that all?” I know that’s not all Zecora has a book and they were described simular but there was something else I can’t quite remember.

“That’s all the princess says about the Will ‘O’ Wisps. There is a foot note for Spike but that’s it.” Said Twilight she looked up and made eye contacted “Why do you know something?”

“Z…um Zecora I think knows of the Will ‘O’ Wisp from her home land.”

“Darling you okay you look nerves.” I look to the white unicorn.

“Pink pony…Parties… um I don’t…” Ar horseapples, screw it. “This is the first time I’ve been around other ponies”

“You’re worried about Pinkie Pie’s Welcoming-Party?” asked the Rainbow, I nodded all I wanted was to fly out there, but I did was cover my face more with the hood on the cloak.

“OOKKAAYY Wow, you should meet Fluttershy” was all she said to my reaction.

“Rainbow dear I can see where Willow is coming from” Rarity was saying I had my head in shadows now. “Now Willow why don’t we let Twilight study, and when she is finished she’ll help you, but I can help you relax”

“What?” I ask

“Rainbow why don’t you go find Pinkie Pie and tell her after Willow gains conference we can though a party for her then.”

“What?” I ask again

“I’ll try Rarity.” Rainbow said before flying off what was left was a rainbow blur.

“Now Willow dear, I insist you come with me to the spa to relax.”
