12:34am in a 30 story building in Canterlot

Many ponies were in the 30 story building in Canterlot. Some of them were doing their work in their office on the 21st floor. And some were having a huge meeting on the 30th floor.

On the 21st floor, ponies were doing their paperwork and writing reports. And some were having a meeting. But during the meeting, the lights in the room was flickering uncontrollably.

"Oh, come on. That's the third time this had happened." Said a stallion with an irritated face.

"The electricities power must be low again." Said a mare looking at the flickering lights.

Then the stallion looked to his right and looked at the green stallion sitting next to him.

"Hey, Olive. Do you think you can message an electrician?" He asked him.

The stallion nodded and said "Sure, I'm on it." Then he stood up and exited the meeting room.

Then he went to his desk and pulled out a piece of paper in his drawer. Then he grabbed a pen and began writing a message to the electrician.

5 minutes later

The electrician has arrived in the building and the stallion manager began to escort him to the electric box in the basement.

Once they got there, the stallion manager showed the electrician the power box.

"Here it is sir." Said the stallion manager.

Then the electrician grabbed his equipments and opened the power box. And he saw that the power level was really low.

"It looks like the power level here is really low, but I can fix it." The electrician told the manager.

"That's good to hear, thank you." Said the manager with a smile, then he walked away. And the electrician began to store electricity in the power box.

50 minutes later

The electrician has been storing electricity in the power box for fifty minutes and the boss of the building was getting impatient. Then the boss walked down the stairs to the basement and went to see the electrician, and once he got there he saw that he was still storing electricity.

"Hey, mister electrician! Are you done yet?" The boss asked.

The electrician looked at the stallion and said "Don't worry sir, it's almost finished. Juts give me eight more minutes and electricity will be in your office."

"Can't you just split the electricity?" The boss asked.

When the electrician heard that, he looked at the boss with a scared look on his face.

"Um, I don't think it's safe to do that, the electricity will flow really quickly and it could possibly start a fire." He told him.

The stallion scoffed and said "Like that would happen, now do as I say or I won't pay you."

The electrician shrugged and said "Okay, whatever you say." Then he did what the stallion said and split the electricity, and the electricity flew threw the cables very fast. After that, the lights in all of the rooms were restored.

The stallion boss smiled and looked at the electrician.

"Thank you very much sir, and here are the bits." He said as he gave him the bits.

The electrician grabbed the bits and placed them in his satchel. Then he tucked his equipment back in his large back and began to leave. But before he did, he looked at the boss one more time.

"If something goes wrong with the electricity, you have to call us again or there will seriously be a fire." He told him.

The boss shrugged and said "I will."

The electrician nodded and left the building. And the boss went back up to the 30th floor to resume his huge meeting.

15 minutes later

The ponies resumed their huge meeting on the 30th and 21st floor. But unknown to them, the power box in the basement was malfunctioning, because the electricity was flowing through the cables really fast. After 5 seconds the power box exploded and spark of electricity fell on the floor and it started a fire.

All of the lights in the office building were shut off and the ponies had confused looks on their faces.

'What in Equestria? I thought the electrician restored electricity in the power box." Said a mare in confusion.

"Yeah, he did. What's going on?" Asked a stallion.

Then somepony smelt smoke in the room.

"Why do I smell smoke?" A mare asked sniffing the air.

Then the ponies turned around and saw smoke coming through the ventilation shaft.

"There's a fire! Everypony run!" Yelled a mare.

When the ponies heard that, they panicked and began to evacuate the building. The smoke reached a fire alarm and it began beeping. And the rest beeped as well.

The ponies began ran through the corridor and to the fire escape.

But once they got there. They felt a huge heat of fire and wind hitting them.

"Go back up! The fire is too strong!" Said a stallion.

The ponies did what the stallion said and went back up the stairs. Once they went back up the 21st floor, they locked themselves in the office. A mare placed a wet towel under the doors to prevent the smoke from coming in. And the ponies began to move to a corner.

"What will we do?" A mare asked crying.

"Relax, the fire brigade will come here and rescue us." Said a stallion with hope.

The ponies nodded and began to relax.

Canterlot junior fire brigade 1:39am

The fire alarm beeped in the fire centre.

"Fire in an office building in Canterlot! Fire in an office building in Canterlot!" Said the alarm.

Once everypony heard that, they immediately ran to their fire carriages.

"Come on girls! Hurry!" Said Thorax.

"On it Thorax!" Said the fillies.

Once they made it to their fire carriage, Thorax pulled the lever and the stables slid opened and the horses walked out. Thorax and the fillies jumped on their carriage and began to head to the fire with the rest of the brigades behind them.

"Alright, we've got another fire, all of you feel confident?" Thorax asked the fillies.

"Yes, Thorax!" Said the fillies as they finished putting on their firefighter suits.

Twilight was very nervous, because this is her first time in fighting a fire in a building.

When Thorax saw Twilight's nervous face, he sat next to her and gently stroked her head, which made her blush.

"Alright, Twilight. First time in a fire situation, don't need to stress. Remember, follow my instructions and you'll be okay." He told her.

Twilight nodded and said "Y-yes, Thorax!"

"That's the spirit!" Said Thorax as he finished suiting up as well.
