10 months later

Twilight was lying on her bed in her dorm room with her 10 month belly. Thorax needed to buy some food and equipment for Twilight and their baby, so he had to leave her attended by her family and Pinkie Pie.

Twilight's dorm room

Twilight was reading a book in her dorm room while placing her wings on her ten month belly. And Pinkie Pie was looking at Twilight with a huge smile.

"Oh my Celestia Twilight! Your belly is huge!" Pinkie exclaimed.

"I know." Twilight giggled "It was quite small when I did a checking in the medical room, but now after a couple of months, it's turned really big." She finished.

"I know Twily, it's normal." Said Velvet looking at her daughter with a smile.

"Yeah, I- auggh!" Twilight yelped in pain.

Nightlight's eyes widened in fear when he saw her daughter in pain.

"Twily! What's wrong?"

Twilight then looked at her father with a pained expression

"Dad, I think it's time."

When Velvet heard that, she looked at Nightlight and Pinkie.

"Come on, we have to send her to the medical room." Said Velvet as she helped daughter down the bed.

Nightlight and Pinkie both nodded in her response, they then began to bring Twilight to the medical room.

Thorax's location

Thorax had finished buying some foods and equipments for Twilight and their baby, and he was walking back to the fire station.

"I hope these equipments will be useful." Thorax said to himself smiling

Then his walkie talkie began to vibrate and Thorax had to drop his shopping bag and listen to whoever was calling him.

"Hello?" Thorax asked raising his walkie talkie.

'Thorax, this is Fluttershy."

"Hello there Fluttershy, what do you need."

"Thorax, Twilight is about to give birth to your child. You have to come back to the station right now."

When Thorax heard that, he tucked his walkie talkie back in his belt and grabbed his shopping bag. He then ran back to the fire station.

"Twilight's giving birth?! I gotta hurry!" Thorax thought panicking.

In the fire station's medical room, Twilight was placed on a bed with the help of her father, then a doctor walked up to her.

"Are you ready Twilight?" The doctor asked.

Twilight replied by nodding.

"Okay, push!"

"Hn...hn...hnnngggggg!" Twilight yelled while pushing.

"Your doing great Twily, just keep breathing after each push." Said Nightlight.

"I'M TRYING!!!" Twilight screamed which scared her father and mother.

"Keep pushing Twilight, I can see the head." Said the doctor.

After five more pushes, the baby came out.

"Wa! Wa! Wa!" Cried the new born baby.

The doctor began to check the gender of the baby, after checking for three seconds, he looked at Twilight.

"Congrats Twilight, you and Thorax have a colt." Said the doctor with a smile.

Thorax has returned to the station's entrance, and he began to run to the medical room as fast as he can.

When Thorax arrived to the medical room, he walked up to the two nurses in front of him. who were checking their paper work.

"Excuse me nurse, my name is Thorax. And I'm the husband of Twilight Sparkle. And I've heard that she has given birth to my child is that correct?" He asked.

The nurses looked up at Thorax and smiled.

"That's correct mister Thorax, please follow us." Said the nurses as they lead Thorax to Twilight's medical room.

Twilight's medical room

Once the nurses have lead Thorax to Twilight's medical room door, they pushed the door opened.

"Please, come in."

Thorax placed down his shopping bag on a chair and walked in.

Once he was in, he saw the fillies, Nightlight and Twilight Velvet in her room.

"Guys?"

When they all heard Thorax's voice, they turned around and looked at him with smiles on their faces.

"Why are you guys smiling at me?"

"Look." They said as they took some steps back.

Thorax then walked up to Twilight's bed and he saw that she was holding a small baby wrapped in a blue cloth. When Twilight saw Thorax, she smiled at him and showed him their foal.

"Look Thorax, our son."

Thorax took a deep breath and slowly looked at his son. At first he was expecting something disgusting, but he saw a cute little changeling and pony hybrid foal snuggling comfortably in his cloth. Their son's body colour was purple almost like Twilight's, he had shelled wings just like Thorax's and he had a unicorn horn just like Twilight.

"What should we name him?" Twilight asked.

Thorax decided to name him firefighting related.

"Flame? Torch?" Thorax suggested.

Twilight giggled when she heard those ridiculous names.

"Where did you get those names?" She asked.

"I just wanted to name him something related to firefighting." He replied.

Twilight then thought for a moment and picked a suitable name for him.

"How about Alistair?" She asked.

Thorax thought for a moment about that name and thinks that it was quite suitable.

"That's a great name." Thorax smiled.

Twilight then looked down at her son.

"Welcome to Equestria, my adorable son." Said Twilight as she kissed her son on the forehead and the baby laughed.

"This is going to be a great start for us as parents, and a great start for our young firefighter." Said Thorax. And everypony in the room nodded in agreement.
