17 years later

Thorax and Twilight have been dating for 17 years now and nothing ever went wrong, they kissed a lot, and saved many ponies in fires, carriage incidents and water rescue. And the day came when Thorax bought an engagement ring in a jewelry shop in the Canterlot shopping centre. The ring was gold and it had a purple diamond on the top.

In the fire station, Thorax proposed to Twilight in front of all of the firefighters including the chief and the instructor. When Twilight saw the engagement ring, she bursted into tears and answered by lundging herself at him and kissing him, and everypony in the station began clapping, cheering and whistling. And the wedding was held outside of the station, Thorax was preparing in the stallions changing room with the help of some stallion firefighters, and Twilight was preparing in the fillies dressing room with her father's and mother's help, and Rarity was helping her daughter with the fashioning.

In the stallions changing room

Thorax was wearing a wedding suit and a green tie and two stallion firefighters were helping him prepare, and Rocky was filming with a camera.

"So Thorax? How is it like to be married?" Rocky asked while recording.

When Thorax saw Rocky filming him with his camera, he rolled his eyes.

"It's great, and please don't film me while I'm preparing." Thorax chuckled.

In the mares changing room

Twilight was dressed in a sparkling purple wedding dress with the help of her father, mother and Rarity. And Twilight was excited.

"I can't believe that the day has finally arrived!" Said Twilight excitedly.

"I know!" Velvet said excitedly as well.

"I can't believe that you are marrying Thorax." Rarity said with a roll of her eyes.

"I have to admit, he is good changeling." Said Nightlight with a smile.

Wedding area, outside of the fire station

The wedding was held outside of the fire station. Many firefighters including the instructors were sitting on white chairs. Thorax was standing right in front of the fire chief who was the announcer, and Shining armour was next to Thorax trying to sooth his fear by encouraging him.

"Don't be scared Thorax, your marrying my little sister. And you'll be a fantastic husband to her." Shining told him.

"Yeah, I guess."

Then the wedding started and Twilight was seen walking down the aisle with her father Nightlight.

"Thorax look." Said Shining armour.

"At what?" He asked as he looked at the aisle, his eyes then widened and he gasped when he saw Twilight walking towards him in a beautiful purple wedding dress.

"Wow, she's just like I remembered, when the first time we met."

"Easy there." Shining chuckled.

When Nightlight finished escorting her daughter to Thorax, he and his wife took seats and the fire chief began to talk.

"Mares and gentlecolts, we are gathered here to see these two lovely firefighter couples getting married."

Thorax and Twilight had to hide a blush when he called them lovely.

"They first met during a training in the quad area, and uh, they were also seen having lunch together in the canteen area."

Thorax and Twilight both raised their eyebrows when they heard that, because they never had lunch together after they first met each other.

"Thorax? Why is the fire chief saying wrong things about us?" Twilight whispered.

"Maybe it's because he's a bit nervous." Thorax whispered back.

Then the fire chief began turned to Twilight.

"Twilight Sparkle, do you accept Thorax to be your husband?" The fire chief asked.

"I do." She nodded.

Then the fire chief turned to Thorax.

"Thorax, do you accept Twilight to be your wife?"

"I do." He nodded as well.

After that, the fire chief began to pronounce them husband and wife.

"I now pronounce you two husband and wife, you may now kiss."

Twilight then lunged herself at Thorax and kissed him, and Thorax kissed back.

Then everypony began clapping, cheering and whistling. Nightlight and Velvet were so proud of their daughter, and Shining armour was smiling in happiness.

Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie were very happy for their friends.

The fire chief and some instructors were crying in happiness.

Twilight and Thorax released each other and smiled.

"Isn't this a beautiful day Thorax?" Twilight asked.

"Indeed it is my beautiful wife." Thorax replied nuzzling her, and she nuzzled back.

Then everypony began to party.

5 months later

Thorax was called in by Rainbow Dash after his successful rescue mission with fire team nine. And Rainbow Dash was escorting Thorax to Twilight's medical room.

"What is it now Rainbow Dash? Is Twilight exhausted from training again?" Thorax asked while following Rainbow Dash.

"No Thorax." Rainbow replied "Just follow me." She said.

Once they reached the medical room, Rainbow Dash and Thorax walked into the room, and Thorax was surprised to see many the fire chief, Twilight's parent's, his friends and Shining armour in the medical room.

"Morning fire chief!" Thorax said as he saluted.

The fire chief turned around and looked at him with a smile.

"Hello there Thorax."

"Is there something wrong?"

"No, there is just a surprise." The fire chief replied.

"What kind of surprise?" He asked.

"See for yourself." The dire chief replied as he took some steps back.

Thorax then walked forward and looked at Twilight, his eyes widened when he saw her belly really round. When Twilight saw Thorax, she smiled at him.

"Hello there Thory." Said Twilight.

"Y-your pregnant?" Thorax asked shocked.

"Yes." Twilight replied.

Thorax then began to shed some tears of happiness.

"He's happy." Rarity and Applejack said at the same time.

"I can't wait for us to be aunt!" Pinkie yelled with a huge smile.

"I can't wait to be a grandfather." Said Nightlight.

"And I can't wait to be a grandmother." Said Velvet with a huge smile.

"And I can't wait to become an uncle." Said Shining armour smiling.

"And we can't wait to be parents." Thorax chuckled.

"Yep." Twilight giggled.
