Sunset was smiling, the magic practice was going well. Applejack and Wallflower were resting their hands on the trees to help control their Earth Pony magic while Pinkie just bounced around, Rarity was levitated twenty fairly large boulders around her at the same time.

Fluttershy, Rainbow and Gilda were playing a game of flying tag. Fluttershy called out with a grin “Come and get me?!” Gilda and Rainbow had the raw speed advantage but Fluttershy was far more agile easily avoiding the other two fliers.

Cozy was forming a dark orb in her hands, Sunset smiled “Your doing really well with that. Dark magic is very difficult to do without losing control of yourself.” Sunset formed a similar orb with ease “Now let’s just do a power test.”

Sunset threw the orb at Cozy only for her orb to obliterate Sunset’s and fly past. Sunset teleported in it’s path and caught it barely nullifying it’s power before reverted back to her human form and collapsed on the ground.

Cozy ran over and shook Sunset, Sunset groaned “You have a lot more power than I do. I will need two hours to recharge before I can take that form again.”

Gilda, Fluttershy and Rainbow landed, Rainbow frowned “Sunset did something happen?”

Rainbow looked between the two only for Sunset to chuckle “Just was testing Cozy’s power, I underestimated her powers and now I need some to regenerate some magic, in the meantime you should practice some more.”

Cozy smiled “I can practice right here, it’s just learning a bit of control.” Sunset smiled as she watched dark orbs floating around them.

Fluttershy turned to Rainbow “We still need to practice, you and Gilda are really bad with manoeuvring. You can’t make the difference with speed alone, if you can get to the point you can tag me it would help.”

Rainbow growled “Your on, come on Gilda. We aren’t going to let her beat us.” Gilda nodded flying into the sky, Rainbow called “We need to work together to catch her.”

Fluttershy giggled as the two flew at her only for them to crash into each other, Gilda growled “Any other smart plans Rainbow? Because that plan failed epically.”

Rainbow watched closely as Fluttershy flew around, she then grinned “We need to go slower. We are clearly trying to rush which doesn’t work and moving so fast makes it harder to change directions so we need to slow down.”

Gilda grinned “Sound like a plan, let’s do it.” The two using their slower speed actually managed to keep to Fluttershy’s tail and eventually Gilda managed to tap her.

Fluttershy grinned “Let’s keep going!”

Meanwhile as the fliers were playing tag, Applejack and Wallflower were focusing on the trees. Applejack smiled as she felt green energy coursing through her body “I can feel the trees, there is so much life here so from the city. I wonder if it’s the same on the farm.”

Wallflower smiled “I can feel the spirit of nature, she’s strong and vibrant here. I wonder if it will be like this in the school gardens.” She then fiddled with the green stone in her pendant “It’s very different from the memory magic in the stone, in fact the stone’s magic is closer to what Rarity’s magic seems to be.”

Rarity was humming to herself as the boulders flew around her easily, she walked over to Sunset and Cozy “Is this supposed to be difficult because it doesn’t feel that way?”

Sunset shook her head with a smile “Unicorn magic is the easiest to grasp, it is the most easily understood form of magic. Most Non-Unicorns don’t even know that they have magic, it is a flaw in the education system in Equestria.”

Cozy Glow smiled “Maybe one day we can visit, I would love to see your homeland.”

Sunset frowned “Well I’d love for that to happen but we would have to wait for the portal to open and we’d have to ask Twilight about it somehow first… wait there is my old book that allows me to speak to Celestia, maybe she get in contact with Twilight.”

Rarity smiled “I’d love to visit it as well if it’s possible.”

Sunset sighed “That would difficult, Twilight is friends with your counterparts and there are creatures known as changelings who could impersonate others. It would not be wise to have double of them wandering around, the only one who may pass muster would be Pinkie Pie and that’s only because of how weird she seems to be. Her counterpart would be similar.”

Rarity frowned “What if Cozy Glow has a counterpart in Equestria?”

Sunset frowned “Her appearance would be unique, one of the small blessings from that. Equestria hasn’t been at war in centuries and wouldn’t dream of sending a foal into combat so whoever her counterpart is would be distinctly different and changelings don’t pull off bad disguises like that.”

Cozy smiled “Well I’m glad that my brunt face has one benefit at least.” She then gave Sunset a peck on the cheek as the dark orb fizzled out.

Before either could speak a hearty laugh came from nearby “Well I’m glad you two are getting along” he then sighed “I was worried no-one would be interested in Cozy Glow because of her appearance.”

Sunset held Cozy tight “She helped me for no other reason than I needed help, I’ll never betray her.”

Tirek smiled “I’m glad but I should get you all home soon before it gets dark.” Tirek began ferrying the girls to their homes glad that his daughter had friends.
