Fluttershy sitting outside the school with Gilda and Wallflower, Rainbow had been released from the Hospital not long afterwards thanks to Sunset’s healing abilities. Still the fact that Applejack could act like that, were the other two the same. Rarity was the person that when she prior to Sunset’s intervention that she spent time with when Rainbow Dash was bus.

The fact that she could wasn’t keen on Cozy rubbed her the wrong way, Cozy had a scarred but kind heart. Fluttershy could sense it ever since they met, after the Fall Formal she has been able to feel the fury coming from others. She could feel the fury in Applejack and Rarity starting to form. Applejack’s was burning hot and would cool in time, Fluttershy was sure of that but Rarity’s felt different it was cold and hollow as if it was closer to hate.

Fluttershy shook her head as Rainbow arrived with Sunset and Cozy, Rainbow walked over to Gilda holding out a hand “I’m sorry for everything, I let my temper control me and pushed you away. It will be a long road but I’m hoping we can put the past behind us.”

Gilda stood up with a serious expression looking to the skies “Rainbow, I have been holding onto that moment for years. For years I’ve been waiting to hear that, to hear those words but I knew deep down I was rude and cold. I’m sorry not just to you Rainbow” she then turned to Fluttershy “I’m sorry to you as well. I mocked you for being soft and weak but that was wrong of me.”

Fluttershy shook her head “You were right, I was weak and soft. If I was stronger than my friendships wouldn’t have fallen apart, I was too weak to stand up to my friends when it mattered letting my emotions bottle up inside but no more. I will no longer be weak.”

Cozy smiled “I’m glad to hear that you are growing, we learn from the mistakes of our past and become better because of it.”

Sunset smiled “But no-one can’t do it alone, if you ever need us to support you just say the word. I’m only just learning but I feel like I have grown so much from your support. It may have been only a day since the Formal but you’ve stood by me, now I will stand by you.”

Wallflower nodded “I will as well, it’s good to have friends. Those who actually pay attention to me, at the same time I need to braver and bolder. If I want to be noticed then silence is not acceptable.”

Rainbow sighed “Now thought I need to speak with someone else before school starts.” The group nodded to her and they all entered the school. Fluttershy could tell behind her stoic façade that Applejack was nervous, Pinkie under her joyous exuberance was terrified but of what she was not sure. Rarity however was exuding malice hidden behind a incredibly convincing smile.

Fluttershy remained as silent as Applejack walked forward guilt clearly marring her features “Ah’m sorry Rainbow, Ah was just so angry and it took mah family to set met straight. Ah have said a lot of bad things, and you were right Ah was being dishonest.”

Rainbow sighed “I was angry too Applejack, I have always had the problem of being too blunt when I need to be more sensitive.” Rainbow then looked up at Applejack “I think our friendship will never be what it was all those years ago but maybe that is a good thing. After the Fall Formal I looked at myself for the first time, looked at myself truly instead of just how awesome I was.”

Fluttershy blinked for a moment as she saw a glow of orange light surrounded Rainbow for a second. Sunset was the only other one seemed to notice, Applejack turned to Sunset “Ah was so busy trying to find something to be angry at you for, to justify those feelings but Ah was wrong.” She then turned to Cozy Glow “Ah’m not sure about you to be honest but the others are right that you are helping Sunset and that should be enough for me.”

Fluttershy sighed as she Rarity’s malice building “Rarity can we talk, alone.”

Rarity nodded “Sure we can.” Fluttershy and Rarity headed to the design room where Rarity spent much of her time. Rarity’s sweet smile would have convinced almost anyone else as she spoke with such a convincingly kind tone “Fluttershy, what is it that you wish to discuss with me?”

Fluttershy’s eyes narrowed “I can feel your malice Rarity. I want to know why are you emitting such a negative emotion so strongly?”

Rarity grimaced “Fluttershy, look at what’s happening. That little girl is drawing on individuals of great power t her, she clearly has bad intentions. She has killed others before, you as one who care for animals must understand the importance of life.”

Fluttershy growled “You don’t truly understand me at all, I don’t live in an apartment like you! I own a small cottage and keep my friends with me, you may see some of the small animals that live with me but you have never seen the big ones! There is Harry and Fang, not just my friends but my family! I was five when I was found by my parents in the forest alongside a bear cub and a wolf cub, when they approached me the two stood in front of me defending me!”

Rarity’s eyes widened “You were raised by beasts!”

Fluttershy growled as her pink hair grew ragged as yellow fur formed over her as her teeth sharpened and her hands turned into fearsome claws “They are not beasts Rarity, the are animals! I was born of the forest, a Spirit of Nature likely conjured up by the magic in the area.”

Fluttershy then returned to normal only for Rarity to scream, seconds later Rainbow Dash burst in with the others behind her only to look over Fluttershy “That is a good look for you, real fearsome.”

Sunset frowned “Okay, what has been going on.”

Rarity growled pointing at Cozy “You know that she has killed others! Is that something we just ignore!”

Applejack sighed “Rarity we have all forgotten that we are trying to help Sunset and Cozy is helping Sunset. That should be enough for all of us.”

Rainbow nodded “Exactly, we all offered to help Sunset. What good is our word if we turn our back on it after a few days.”

Wallflower growled storming over to Rarity “Get over yourself, you stupid stuck up piece of shit! What makes you better than her, better than all of us!” Fluttershy felt a huge wave of terror, she turned around only to see Pinkie’s smile shattered as she let out a horrible screech running from the room in tears.

Applejack's family wouldn't let her get away with that kind of behaviour. As for that last bit about Wallflower you don't try to take everyone's memories for someone turning off a light on you and ignoring you one day without being a little bit of a raging asshole.
