Goose Chase serves as the Consort to the Major Diarch of the Equestrian Empire, Princess Applejack. Though he's been with her for many years now, there is one thing about her that he's forgotten that he's always wanted to know. What is the Princess's title? In the past there had been the Princess of the Sun, the Princess of the Moon, the Princess of Love, and the Princess of Friendship. Yet, the Princess he serves keeps her title hidden, as does the Minor Diarch, Princess Flurry Heart.

When the current King of Griffonia attacks a small, undefended island owned by the Empire that originally served as an olive branch between the two powers, Goose is taken along to see him dealt with. He will learn the answers to many of his questions, as he watches the Princess act on her title.
