Triple Mother

The next day Rainbow Dash was still in the hospital with Soarin and the triplets. She was sleeping very peacefully while Soarin was feeding the babies with their bottles.

Suddenly the door opened revealing Rainbow Dash's parents, Windy Whistles and Bow Hothoof.

"Hello ponies, how are my favorite couple and my three grandchildren?" Windy Whistles said

"They are fine Dash is sleeping now, she was very tired from childbirth" Soarin said

"Did I hear my name?" Dash said as she opened her eyes

"Oh Dashie honey, We're so proud of you" Windy said

"Thanks mom, now come here to meet your new grandchildren: Rainbow Prism, Azure Skies and Sora Dash"

Windy and Bow approached the three foals in the cribs and smiled.

"They're really lovely," Windy said with a tear in her eyes.

"You gave your mother and I three beautiful grandchildren, You and Soarin really did a great job creating these beautiful little foals" Bow said.

Rainbow Dash and Soarin smiled

"Thanks dad" Dash said

"Can I hold my little grandchildren?" Windy asked and Dash nodded.

"Sure mom"

Windy then approached and took Azure Skies from her crib, Azure woke up and then smiled at her grandmother.

"Hello little one, I'm your grandma Windy Whistles"

Bow Hothoof then approached the other cribs and began playing with the two babies in them.

"Hello little ones! And I'm your grandpa Bow Hothoof, and we're all very happy with the arrival of you three!"

The two fillies in the cribs then started laughing at their grandfather. That was their first laugh.

"Looks like someone already loves their grandparents," Dash said.

A few days later Dash and Soarin were released to go home with their babies. They were congratulated by all their friends and family. Spitfire had given Rainbow Dash a week's leave, and Soarin decided to stay with her.

Azure Skies, Sora Dash and Rainbow Prism were really tough babies. They already had a great tendency to fly, not to mention the time they ran away from home in a wheelbarrow.

But Rainbow Dash and Soarin were really determined to go through any challenge. Even if it has to do with three crying babies.

"Come on little Rainbow Prism, open your mouth to eat the pea puree," Dash said as she tried to feed the baby.

"Nahhhhhh" the little filly refused to eat. Dash raised an eyebrow

"Soarin how are you doing with Azure and Sora?" Dash asked her husband that he was all dirty with the pea puree that was to be given to the foals, who were obviously also refusing the food.

"I'm doing the best I can ..." Soarin said

The foals simply laughed as they messed the table with the pea puree.

"Ok, bath time"

Dash was bathing Rainbow Prism and Sora Dash while Soarin was in the room distracting Azure Skies. Rainbow Prism was throwing the bath toys out of the tub while Sora was spreading the tub water all over the bathroom.

"Soarin come here!"

Soarin entered the bathroom with Azure in her hooves.

"Yes sweetie?"

"Here you get Prism and Sora while I do my best with Azure"

So they changed the babies

"And so Daring Do saved the day again" Rainbow Dash closed the book while her foals were sleeping after a long day of mess.

She smiled as she kissed her three foals on the head and then left the room and closed the door.

She entered her room and lay on her bed and began to close her eyes to enter dreamland.

An hour later Soarin entered the room and lay down beside his wife in bed.

Dash smiled as she felt her husband hug her as they lay in bed.

"And another wonderful day with my perfect family" Soarin said

Dash leaned in and then placed a soft kiss on Soarin's lips. He kissed her back and soon after they parted.

"I love you Soar..." Dash said before falling asleep in Soarin's chest

"I love you too"

The next day Rainbow Dash and Soarin were riding triplets around town in a triple stroller.

"So where can we go now?" Soarin asked his wife

"I was about to go to Sugarcube Corner, my friends are dying to see the triplets" Dash said

"Ok so let's go"

"OH DASHIE! I DON'T BELIEVE YOU BRING THESE LITTLE THINGS HERE TODAY! Li'l Cheese was also dying to see her little friends today" Pinkie Pie said while Li'l Cheese was sitting on her back.

"How about letting all the babies play together then?" Dash suggested

The four babies seemed to have loved the idea, so Dash put the triplets to play with Li'l Cheese.

"They look very cute playing together" Applejack said

"Yeah ... I kind of wish I had a foal like Dash and Pinkie too ..." Fluttershy said

"Don't worry Fluttershy, I'm sure someday you and Discord will have a beautiful foal in mix with several other creatures .... I think" Rarity said

"I was also planning on having a foal with Flash, but the royal duties really are a little tricky to think about this now ..." Twilight said

"Girls, I'm going out for a breath and I'll be right back," Soarin said as she walked out of the store.

Soarin was walking behind Sugarcube Corner when suddenly a pony called him.

"Soarin?"

Soarin turned to see who it was and his eyes widened.

"Lightning Dust?"

"Looks like we meet again Soary"
