Chapter 2: Yin & Yang?

As I was on my way back from the hospital to my ambulance to get some sleep, I noticed that I was being followed so I went to hide behind a tree and made a sound as if I was still trotting away.

I quickly ambushed my follower and realized I was pointing my stun gun at Twilight.

"Twilight you scared the shit out of me" I said to Twilight annoyed and as soon as I said that the rest of the stalking pony showed up Apple Jack, Rarity, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie.

"Why are you guys following me?" I asked them feeling annoyed

"we're just curious about that huge metalic thing that Rainbow Dash told us" Twilight answered while the other pony nodded in agreement

"ugh... fine.. don't stalk me next time I could have seriously wound you" I said to all the pony with a laugh as they followed me to the ambulance.

--- Few minutes of trotting later ---

We arrived after a few minute walk through the forest.

I showed them the ambulance and let them have a look around.

"This is where I crash landed" I said pointing at my ambulance.

"my name is Bright Wind by the way" I said to them knowing that giving them my human name is not such a good idea.

"so Bright Wind where are you from?" Rarity asked as she kept staring at my eyes.

"I'm from.." I paused and remembered that these pony would probably not understand if I told them where I came from, so I decided to lie.

"I'm from Cloudsdale but I travelled a lot" I said to them trying my best to not sound suspicious only to earn a stare of suspicion from Apple Jack.

As soon as I answered all the questions all of the 5 pony were satisfied and went back to their home.

"who are they? Immigration police?" I said to myself as I laughed.

"*yawn* better go get some sleep before another border patrol officer interrogates me" I said to myself as I drift to sleep on the ambulance stretcher

The next morning I woke up on the ambulance stretcher.

"*yawned* gotta get ready for work now" I said to myself as I quickly went out to wash my paramedic uniform and kevlar (the vomit on the shirt made the kevlar stink so badly) in the river and hanged emm to dry.

Then re-organize my ambulance into a make shift home and cutted some tree to cover the broken window on the front side of the ambulance with wooden planks, I attempted to use my wing to fly but only to end up hitting a tree.

I put on my uniform and kevlar vest (I got used to wearing the vest that it felt weird to not to wear it) and got myself ready for my second day on the hospital.

I went to the hospital and started my shift but when I went to Rainbow Dash room but she were already out of the hospital so I checked on the other patient when all of the sudden Rainbow dash came flying in a high speed towards me.

"Bright Wind quick we need you to come to the sugar cube corner it's an emergency, we need your help" she quickly said it and left me.

So I quickly grabbed my stuff and galloped toward the sugar cube corner.

--- Sugarcube Corner ---

It was awfully dark and quiet which made me came up with a conclusion.

"somepony must have attacked them and that pony is trying to ambush me by turning off the light!" I whispered to myself.

I realized that there is a back door so I went in from the back door and sneaked in, I saw many shadow figures ambushing the front door.

I quickly attacked the nearest pony when all of the sudden the light went back on.

"Surprise?" the pink pony said to me in confusion after I tackled her to the ground.

"oh my god Pinkie I'm so sorry I thought you were the bad pony who tried to ambush me" I said embarrassedly.

"where's the emergency?" I asked Rainbow Dash while looking around.

"actually it wasn't an emergency it's a surprise party" Rainbow Dash said to me with a big smile on her face.

"oh wow thanks guys I never had a surprise party before" I said over joyed.

"no problem Bright Wind we're just glad you liked it" Twilight said looking pleased with my reaction.

"I see that you made a new friend Twilight Sparkle" said Princess Celestia as everyone in the room bowed to him except me.

I was in confusion about who this pony is so I decided to introduced myself to the white alicorn.

"hi my name is Bright Wind and I work at the Hospital in ponyville you can come by there and I'll give you a free check up, it's on the house for you ma'am" I said to the white alicorn while shaking her hoof trying to be polite, as I looked around everyone was looking at me with mouth gaping wide open which made me felt even more nervous.

"uuhh.. ohhh.. did I do something wrong maybe I'm being rude" I thought to myself.

"god I'm an idiot she must be a pony with an important position!" I thought to myself so I kissed her hooves and some of the pony around me fainted and I made the alicorn blushed.

"so what's your name" I asked with a hint of panic.

"My name is Princess Celestia, it is a pleasure to meet you Doctor Bright Wind" the princess said to me.

"Wait an apple bucking minute, I thought you told us you're from Cloudsdale you lied to us didn't you?" Apple Jack said to me which made me even more panicked.

"How could you not know who the princess is if you're from cloudsdale?" Apple Jack asked as Twilight was whispered something to the princess and all eye was on me.

"Are you a spy?" Rainbow Dash said to me pointing his hoof at me and all the guard seems to prepare to charge on me

"I heard that he brought a pony back to live by kissing it" a random pony said.

"BLACK MAGIC! He's definitely using black magic!" said another random pony.

"he's also a bucking liar" Apple Jack shouted.

"and he kissed a stallion" said a random pony which made everypony in the room gasped and blushed.

I was speechless and all of the sudden my iphone buy grocery today reminder alarm went off.

"EVERYPONY for them self he's using black magic!" shouted a random pony as the guards charged at my direction but my reflex made me kick and knock them unconscious which only made matter worse.

Princess Celestia then zapped me with a spell but nothing happened "impossible no pony is immune to the paralyzing spell before" the Princess said with amazement.

Fluttershy ran and hide under a table.

While Rainbow Dash was just staring at me with a disbelief look.

Twilight on the other hand seems to be trying to find a solution from his pocket sized magic spell book to fix this mess and Pinkie Pie was just being Pinkie Pie.

While rarity panicked Apple Jack was charging at me.

"don't worry princess I'll save ya" as Apple Jack tried to buck me but my reflex kicked in again and so did it kicked Apple Jack and bucked her while trying to buck me sending her flying across the room.

"everypony stop! This is stupid!" I yelled out loud.

"I haven't even had the chance to explain everything yet!!!" I shouted angrily to all pony around me as they stopped panicking.

"first of all I didn't give the stallion a kiss I gave him a CPR, know what is? It's an artificial breathing and I don't have any kind of special relationship with that stallion, I gave him a CPR because he was having a cardiac arrest" I said to everypony around me and somehow Rainbow Dash had a relieved look on her face.

"secondly I never do a black magic I simply restart the pony heart with a defibrillator" I said louder to everypony and they seem satisfied by my answer.

"Bright Wind we need to talk alone" the princess said to me, so I nodded and followed the princess and so she teleported me to his castle.

--- The throne room ---

"Bright Wind you are not an ordinary pony, you have a much more stronger magic than my student twilight" the Princess said to me as she stare at the window.

"how can I even be stronger than Twilight in magic? I don't even have a horn" I said to the Princess.

"you have appear to have strong magical aura around you which made you immune to almost all magic spell" the princess said to me.

"I see but that doesn... ugh... my head...." I said to the princess when a sudden head ache occurred on my head.

"Bright Wind are you okay?" the Princess asked looking worried and all of the sudden my 2 front hooves glowed with golden coloured lights.

"I.. I feel.. Great!! I feel like.. I feel like I can take over the world!!!" I said with an evil laughter.

I lifted my front right hoof and the sun followed where I pointed my hoof which scares princess Celestia as I lowered the sun.

"Let there be an eternal night Muahahahahaa.." I shouted evilly as I suddenly snapped out.

"woah! that was scary.. I just lost control of my brain" I said to myself feeling horrible.

I raise the sun back up after feeling guilty and suddenly Princess Luna came galloping to see her sister, Princess Celestia.

"sister why did you lowered the sun it is not the time yet" princess Luna said to his sister.

"oh my you look like an angel from heaven darling.. I mean uhh.. umm.. hi im Bright Wind" I said snapping out and looking at princess Luna who was blushing.

"Mayday.. Mayday.. This is brain to Steve do you copy over" said my brain to me.

"uhh.. copy that there was a glitch on the communication" I said to myself going cuckoo which made both of the princess stare at me in confusion, I shaked my head so hard that I was finally able to think straight.

"I'm sorry Princess Celestia I think my head just went AWOL after you zapped me with that para what spell, did I put the sun back at the correct position" I asked Princess Celestia.

"that's ok I'll fix it later" Princess Celestia answered.

"He can lower and raise the sun?" Princess Luna said in disbelief.

"I'll explain it to you later sister" said Princess Celestia to her sister.

"Bright Wind you need to learn on controlling your power, you must not let your evil side take over you" Princess Celestia said to me as I raise the moon with my left hoof.

"oh wow this is awesome" I said with a smile as I realized I was distracted by my power and both of the alicorns mouth was wide open in disbelief.

"ohh sorry.. I got over excited, I understand Princess again I apolo.. ugh... HEY DON'T YOU DARE TELL MY BUDDY BRIGHT WIND ON WHAT HE'S SUPPOSE TO DO" I said loosing control again.

"YOU TAKE GOOD CARE OF MY BUDDY HERE AND WE'LL GO ALONG JUST FINE" my other me said to the Princess in a loud voice which is almost similar to the canterlot voice.

"ugh.. he took over again didn't he" I said in low tone and the Princess simply nods.

"don't fight me Steve its me Dark we used to be friend when you were just a kid, you created me as your imaginary friend when you were afraid of the darkness remember? I told you that I'll always be there for you, remember that time when Tom bullied you? I was there I controlled you, you beated up Tom no one as kind as you should have his feeling hurted like that" Dark said to me from my mind.

"I thought you left me dark 15 years a go.. you stopped talking to me" I said in a lower tone almost crying.

"if you kept talking to me your friends might think you're crazy and I don't want them to think you're crazy" Dark said to me, after a long conversation I finally made peace with my imaginary friend who is now my other me.

"it's ok Princess we just worked things out and he agreed to not to take over Equstria for me" I said to the Princess Celestia.

"ohh and he told me to tell you Princess Luna that he admired you and he loves the night it's beautiful but not as beautiful as you are he said" I said to Princess Luna who seem to be happy to hear that somepony loves his work and his look.

"Please say my thanks to him.. for the compliments" said Princess Luna to me.

"Have I told you that you're more beautiful than any of the star up there in the sky" said my other me who suddenly snapped in.

"you can call me Dark Wind by the way my angel *winked*" Dark wind said to Princess Luna and winked which caused Princess Luna to blush again.

"I thought we already talk about this Dark Wind" I yelled out so loud that I realized I wasn't talking inside my mind "oh.. I'm sorry Princess I guess somepony... just couldn't keep his manner" I said in a loud angry tone.

"that's okay Bright Wind I'd love to meet your friend Dark Wind, maybe you and your friend Dark Wind would love to join our dinner sometime here at Canterlot with my sister?" Princess Luna asked excitedly.

"uhh no thank you Princess Lun.. YES WE'D LOVE TO COME OVER FOR DINNER" my other me snapped in.

"great see you tomorrow then" Princess Luna said happily.

"somepony admired my work and my look sister" Princess Luna whispered excitedly to her sister.

"We got a date" Dark Wind said to me in my mind which annoyed me even more.

"dude that's the princess" I said to Dark Wind annoyed.

"umm.. Princess I think I should leave before my friend here will say something he'll regret and I am suppose to be at work by now" I said to both of the princess.

"I see.. I wish you to have a good day at your work Bright Wind, we'll take care of the misunderstanding at the party oh and I would like to make you my 2nd student so I'm expecting to see you tomorrow to discuss this matter" Princess Celestia said to me.

"bye Dark Wind" Princess Luna said to Dark Wind as she waved good bye "Bye Angel I'll miss you terribly" Dark Wind said snapping into my mind.

"urgh... Dark!!" I yelled at Dark loudly while Princess Luna laughs at me, I quickly teleported myself back to the hospital which somehow amazed me since I never did a teleportation spell before.

--- Ponyville hospital ---

I appeared in front of Doctor Red Cross who was walking in the hospital hall way and appeared in a pink smoke.

"Hi Red Cross sorry I'm sorry I'm late" I said hurriedly as Red Cross seems to be surprise at my random appearing.

"woah.. oh.. why hello Bright Wind.. did you just appeared out of nowhere randomly or is my eye playing tricks on me?" Red cross asked me.

"would you like me to check your eyes? It's on the house for a fellow doctor" I said with a smile.

"hahaha.. that's nice of you Bright Wind but I think I'll need to catch my breath first, I definitely don't want to have a heart attack" Red cross said to me.

"okay then see you later" I said to Red saying good bye.

"I should really explain to everypony about what happen even though the princess is going to take care of it" I said to myself.

"yeah I mean seriously they think you're gay cause you gave a stallion a CPR" Dark Wing commented.

"if I were you I'd teach those brats a lesson or two" Dark Wind said to me inside my mind as I walk door to door visiting each patient.

"well you better not interfere, this is something that I have to do peacefully" I said to Dark Wind.

"okay I won't Steve, good luck" Dark wind said to me.

--- Sugarcube Corner ---

I walked into the the sugar cube corner and I saw a pink pony crying in the corner, as I came closer I started to recognize the pony.

"Pinkie Pie? Are you ok?" I asked her gently.

"no I am not ok" she said to me with tears in both of her eyes.

"everypony didn't enjoy the party that I made for you, I'm a failure" she said as she cried louder.

"Pinkie I like your party I think its great, the music is nice, the food is delicious and the decoration is awesome" I said to Pinkie trying to cheer her up.

"and I think it's me that they dislike not your party" I said to Pinkie Pie trying to cheer her up and she seem to smile for a few second and all of the sudden she bounced around the room with a big smile on her face.

"thanks Bright Wind you're the best friend a pony could ever asked, maybe we should do another party" Pinkie said with a big smile "umm.. yeah I think we should" I said with a regret.

--- Ponyville library ---

I went to the library to talk to Twilight, as I knocked the door a dragon opened the door "oh hi there you must be looking for Twilight, my name is.." Spike said as I interrupted.

"hi Spike is Twilight here" I asked spike.

"yes she's upstair reading some book looking for a spell to stop this pony named Bright Wind" Spike said to me.

"I see... then I won't bother her for a long time, may I come in?" I said to spike as he let me in.

"hey Twilight listen we need to talk" I said to Twilight and Twilight eyes went wide.

"how did you get in?! did you eat spike?! please don't eat me!!" Twilight said to me with fear.

"oh for god sake Twilight, I came here to talk" I said angrily.

"it wasn't me! what ever it was it was it wasn't me who did it!" she said panicking when all of the sudden my Paramedic knowledge kicked in.

"remember if the casualty is panicking emotionally, calm him down hug him or something" my paramedic knowledge reminded me.

so I hugged Twilight which seems to calm her down.

"Bright Wind?" she said softly while sniffing with tears.

"it's okay Twilight I just wanted to talk about something very important to you"

I said gently as her eyes went wide and her cheeks started to blush.

"Twilight" I said to her when all of the sudden spike who was peeking burped a letter from Princess Celestia.

"ok you caught me I was peeking, I couldn't help it" Spike said but I ignored him and gave Twilight the letter.

My Faithful student Twilight Sparkle

I would like to inform you that Bright Wind is now my student, he have shown a strength in magic which he needs to learn to control and I am appointing you to help him with his study in magic.

Twilight's mouth was wide open when finishes reading the letter.

"that's what I was trying to tell you Twilight" I said with a smile and somehow she seems dissapointed.

"ohh.. so that's the important thing that you were going to say to me" she said with a dissapointment.

"yeah isn't this great we're both going to be studying magic together" I said to Twilight who seems to be happy to hear my respond.

"together?" she whispered.

"yeah together, do you want me to check on your ear while I'm still here? not to be rude or anything" I asked with a small laugh.

"I mean I'm a doctor and you seem to have a  health problem.. you know what I mean right? I'm not saying that you're deaf or something I'm just concerned about your health" I said with a smile.

"Ahahah.. that won't be necessary doc my ears are fine, so.... what do you want to study now?" Twight asked me.

"uhh sorry Twilight, but I need to explain to everypony who attended to my party that there was a miscommunication during the party" I said to Twilight.

"I see.. is it ok if I come with you so I could help you?" Twilight asked me.

"sure" I said to Twilight, it made me feel glad that somepony is willing to help me on  fixing this whole mess.

--- Fluttershy's cottage ---

As we finished talking to everpony in town who attended the party we went to Fluttershy's cottage and as soon as I approached near fluttershy's cottage fluttershy quickly ran into his house and a group of animal quickly forms a line into a militia of animal soldier and charged at my direction.

I was pretty sure that I were going to get beaten up by little animal but Twilight put a magical shield around the animal so they couldn't attack me.

"Fluttershy it's ok Bright Wind is here to talk to you" Twilight shouted as she constantly cast magic to form a shield around the animal militia.

"Twilight.. what does.. he.. wants.." Fluttershy asked while hiding behind his door.

"Would you feel better if Twilight explain it to you instead of me?" I asked Fluttershy.

"I.. guess so.." Fluttershy said in a low tone.

"okay I'm backing up now" I shouted and started to back up.

"is that better?" I asked and Fluttershy took a peek from his door.

"you're not going to attack me?" Fluttershy asked.

"why would I attack such a nice mare Pegasus who cares about cute little animal" I said in a friendly tone as she opened her door and talked to Twilight.

As soon as Twilight explained everything Fluttershy came to talk to me.

"I'm sorry Bright Wind I thought you were a bad pony" she said embarrassedly.

"it's ok Fluttershy I understand that" we quickly said good bye and left to visit Rainbow Dash place.

--- Rainbow Dash Cloud mansion ---

When we reached Rainbow Dash cloud home I suddenly realized that I still don't know how fly yet but I still gave it a try and ended up crashing into Rainbow Dash mansion roof and fell in front her door step.

After regaining my consciousness I knocked on Rainbow Dash door only to be slammed with a cloud door in the face.

"Rainbow Dash that's not very nice, I came to talk to you about the incident at the party" I shouted.

"go away you spy, I won't fall for another one of your trick" Rainbow Dash answered from his house.

"that's what I'm trying to tell you I'm not a spy!" I shouted again.

"not buying that and you did tried to kill me didn't you" she yelled.

"if I did tried to kill you I would have done it when I hitted you accidentally back then, I helped you because I care about you" I shouted so loud that there was an instance silence.

"I'll be going now and don't worry cause I won't be bothering you ever again" I shouted as I got mad at Rainbow Dash stubbornness and left to see Apple Jack.

--- Apple Family Orchard ---

"Apple Jack are you here? I came to apologize for bucking you at the party" I shouted but there was no sign of Apple Jack at the apple orchard.

so we went to his house and knocked on the door.

"Apple Jack its me Bright Wind I came here to.." I shouted when all of the sudden the door opened and Apple Jack bucked me on the head which sent me flying a few meter away from the door and everything went dark...

--- Ponyville Hospital ---

As I started to woke up I noticed a bright light, and sound of heart rate monitor and the familiar smell of a hospital.

"ohh shit.. did I.. slept on.. the job again.. Ivan?" I said slowly with my vision still blurring.

"Loo... he's.. wakin... up.." a pony said giving me a hint that my hearing isn't so good at the moment.

"uhh.. sorry sir I slept on the job.. this won't happen again.." I said mumbling and I swear I heard someone laughing, as my vision cleared I could see all the six element pony staring at me.

"wha.. wher.. why am I in bed?" I asked panicking.

"you were unconscious when Apple Jack gave you a kick on the head yesterday" Twilight said giving a small chuckle.

"Well ain't that a kick to the head? it happened so fast I didn't even saw it coming" I said in a calm tone.

"I'm sorry Bright Wind ah buck ya on the head" Apple Jack said with an apologetic look on her face.

"It's okay I'm fine it'll take more than just a kick to the head to kill me, beside I guess we're even now" I said with a laugh.

"I brought you some books about magic" Twilight said to me as she gave me the book using his magic.

"and I brought you some cupcakes" Pinkie Pie said enthusiastically.

"here's a sweater it could get a little chilly here in the hospital" Rarity said as she put the sweater on me using her magic.

"my animal friend would like to apologize to you so please take these fruits" Fluttershy said shyly.

"that's very nice of you guys, thank you no pony have ever give me such gifts" I said with tears in my eyes, as I looked around I could see Rainbow Dash sitting in the corner alone.

"Rainbow dash? is everything alright?" I asked but Rainbow dash just stood there quietly.

"Rainbow Dash I'm sorry I yelled at you yesterday I didn.." I said in a low tone when she suddenly fly out of the window.

I quickly got off from the hospital bed causing some of the hospital equipment to fall.

As I ran outside I saw a rainbow trail in the sky.

I flapped my wing so hard attempting to fly and I did it I fly smoothly not a single tree hitted (yet I guess) and I quickly followed the rainbow trail to a small cloud floating in an empty sky.

"Rainbow Dash?" I said gently as I hear a sobbing sound "I'm really sorry I yelle.." as soon as I tried to finish my sentence Rainbow Dash quickly flied away and so the chase begin again.

After hours of chasing and yelling I'm sorry my wing and heart gave up on me and I fell out of control from the sky.

I closed my eye and waited until I reached the ground but suddenly something caught me and it was Rainbow Dash.

There was a sonic Rainboom right behind her and she had tears in her eyes and after that it was dark again and my heart stopped beating.

--- Unknown location ---

There was a sudden burst of light and voices telling me to come to the light and there I saw a pony wearing a dark coat with hood and he /she is holding a sickle and he / she had no skin.. just bones..

"Steve it's time to go" said the reaper pony.

"What! im dead?" I shouted "no this.. can't be it!" I said to the reaper pony.
