THE FORCE OF HATRED (2019 with MLP Version)

ACT SIXTEEN

As Princess Luna fluttered up high, she used what her sister had taught her to raise the sun to start a new day.

While inside the palace, the guards were still standing watch over the vault where the trans-warp jewel was kept, when suddenly, bright light began to flash through the cracks in the doors, and the guards could feel the floor rumbling beneath their feet.

“Could it be?” one of them wondered.

Using their unicorn magic, they weren’t able to open the doors, as only Princess Luna had the power, but they were able to view inside and saw that the gem was glowing, indicating someone was about to appear.

“Quick! Summon Princess Luna!” shouted the other guard.

The Princess was there in a heartbeat, and she inserted her horn into the keyhole, unlocking the seal.

“This is it!” she muttered to herself with joy “Perhaps my sister is finally coming home!”

The jewel glowed brighter and brighter, forcing everyone to cover their eyes, and when the light faded, they were all astonished to see neither Celestia, Twilight, or the others, but an evil and nasty looking creature, Yamimakai.

He hadn’t transformed into any Equestrian version of himself due to being a different creature not originally of their world, and his powers protected him from such morphing.

“Who’s that?” asked one of the guards.

Yami stepped forth, and Luna recognized the symbol on his forehead. “No! It can’t be!” she cried softly.

Yami glared at everyone with an evil grin and hissed, “My name is Yamimakai, but you may call me “Master!”

Luna cringed with anger, “You…! You’re that great evil from the tome we passed down!”

The guards stepped forth.

“You are not our leader!” snapped one.

“Princess Celestia is our ruler here!” insisted the other, but Yami only snickered, “Then maybe you’d like to join her!”

He pulled out his sword, prompting the guards to rush him, only to then be brutally slaughtered before Luna’s eyes.

She tried to contain the creature with a magical barrier, but he actually pierced right through it and stepped out.

“It is useless to resist The Hate.”

Luna then blasted him with a long beam of magic, but he countered with his own powerful blast, sending her own force straight back at her and crashing her into the wall.

He quickly lunged forth and grabbed her by the neck choking her hard just as more guards came rushing in… too late! Yami had already crushed Luna’s neck like a grape, and her head rolled along the ground much to the guards’ horrors!

Many of the brave soldiers attempted to attack, and just like the rest, they, too, were brutally murdered at the hands of this evil monster!

Any guards still standing were trembling in fear, as Yami sneered at them, “Celestia and Luna are history! This world now belongs to me!

Make it easier on yourselves and surrender your allegiance to me and bask in the glory and marvel of The Hate!

If not, well then…” he held up his blood-stained blade which made the guards fearful for their lives.

The lowered their weapons and actually bowed to him, with one of them saying “You leave us no choice, My Lord.”

Yami snickered, and with a snap of his finger, he summoned his army of dark soldiers and instructed them to start weeding the palace out of those who would dare stand up to him and defy the hate.

One guard watching from around the corner and saw the whole thing happen, he had quickly run off to write a letter to Starlight Glimmer, warning her of the danger, and he sent it off, via magical mail.

Yami then placed his hand on the guard’s back and turned him to face him. “And what do you think you were doing?!”

The guard shuddered nervously and stammered "N-N-No... Nothing!"

Yami acted smug, “I believe you…”

The guard breathed a heave of relief, only to then get skewered right through the heart, and Yami growling “…But my sword doesn’t!”

He pulled his blade out and let the body fall to the floor.

More guards and the palace staff shuddered in fear as Yami addressed to them…

“He was the first one to commit treason. Now… we all know what happens to TRAITORS around here, don’t we?!!”

His shouting made everyone’s’ stomachs turn, and soon they, too, swore allegiance just to stay alive.

Starlight had received the letter at the Castle of Friendship, and was shocked, tearful, and feeling extremely hurt and concerned.

“Celestia and Luna… gone!” she sobbed as her tears fell onto the parchment.

The others were all as devastated as she was, some could barely find their voices to speak!

“And now Yamimakai is in Canterlot, seizing the throne!” cried Rainbow. Her anger and rage was beginning to show.

So were Applejack’s, “Of all the bad guys we’ve ever known, this is the sickest, lowest, dirtiest I’ve ever heard of!” she couldn’t hold it in and let out a huge scream!!

She was panting heavily after, but she hardly felt better at all.

“We’ve got to do something!” said Fluttershy “We can’t let more creatures get hurt!”

“Or be killed either!” cried Pinkie.

Starlight was really in a panic now. In a situation like this, it was always Twilight who came up with brilliant plans; things that she, herself, was no good at.

“Okay, don’t panic! There’s got to be something we can do!” she fretted to herself.

Rarity could see her stress, and gave her a paper bag to breathe into.

After a few breaths Starlight felt a little better, but she still had no idea of what to even consider; not against an enemy like Yamimakai.

She decided to consult the book of his legend for any clues. “He was beaten once before, maybe we can find a way to beat him again the same way.”

“There aren’t any clues.” Rarity pointed out “Much as I hate to be a drag, but don’t you remember-- the Prince that confronted and sealed the evil away perished and took any and all secrets with him.”

“But there was a way.” said Starlight “And we’ve got to find out what it is and fast before that creep attacks any other regions.”

“Um… Starlight…!” Fluttershy whimpered.

“What is it?”

“Starlight…!”

“What…?!”

Fluttershy motioned outside the window, “…I think he’s already here!”

Everyone rushed to the window and could see the dark soldiers were running amuck all over Ponyville, terrorizing the citizens, and causing such destruction and havoc.

All the ponies in the streets ran to hide, and those that tried to stand up to the creatures… they ended up the same way any other did…

…Slaughtered!

Big Mac, Applebloom and Grnany Smith were down in the street, and were cornered by three soldiers!

“No!!” cried Applejack, and she leapt clean out of the window!

“Applejack!!” cried Pinkie

As Applejack fell, she began lassoed her rope to one of the sharp crystal spikes sticking out, allowing her to swing and land safely on the ground!

“Come on, let’s get down there!” shouted Rainbow.

She flew out the window, followed by Fluttershy, and Rarity and Pinkie dashed for the doors.

“Wait!” cried Starlight. She sensed the worst was about to happen just rushing into battle like that!

She rushed down after her friends as fast as she could.

“Granny… Big Mac… !!” whimpered Applebloom as she hide behind their apple-wagon.

Granny comforted her granddaughter as Big Mac glared at the soldiers, and stomped his hoof twice.

The soldiers only liked the hate he was showing, which feed their strengths nicely.

Big Mac didn’t even seem to care that the creeps were armed, and he rushed forth to drive them off.

The soldiers only stood their ground and looked ready to strike him, when Applejack came rushing in shouting, “…LEAVE MY FAMILY ALONE!!!”

She was almost there when more soldiers appeared, and one of them struck her hard in her hind leg, wounding her badly and she fell to the ground quivering in pain as her blood trekked down her leg.

“SIS!!” cried Applebloom.

Big Mac skidded to a halt in shock by the sight of his wounded sister. All his courage and boundless determination, gone just like that!

The soldiers decided to take him down right then and there, but suddenly, Rainbow zoomed past, and at such a speed her sonic waves actually knocked the soldiers all off their feet.

Applejack was about to be skewered by the solider that wounded her, when she was suddenly levitated out of the way by Rarity.

“My leg!!” groaned Applejack.

“Set her down!” cried Fluttershy.

The soldiers now had Applejack’s family at bay.

Pinkie leapt in wearing a karate outfit and headband, thrusting her front limbs and making battle cries. “Come on, I can take you all on!”

Then more soldiers just appeared out of nowhere, totally surrounding her.

“…Or not!”

More and more soldiers appeared and began to terrorize all over Equestria, from the south-side of the Badlands, all the way up north to the Crystal Empire.

Cadance and Shining Armor sent their entire army of royal guards to stop the invaders, but to no avail, each and every pony was brutally slaughtered, and now, the royal trio were being targeted.

“Cadance!” cried Shining Armor “Take Flurry Heart and get someplace safe!”

“No! Not without you!” Cadance insisted.

“GO!!” shouted her husband, passing her their crying baby.

Cadance felt her heart aching, but she placed Flurry in a special buggy on her back and flew out a window.

Shining Armor then stood ready to fight the oncoming soldiers, but being vastly outnumbered and woefully outmatched in strength…! He was grabbed and held up, making him a perfect target for the lancers to spear him with their weapons, right into the middle!

As Cadance flew away, she could feel her insides give a most sickening lurch-- the kind one would only feel if something extremely bad just happened.

“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO…!!!”

Back in Ponyville, Starlight arrived on the scene, rushing towards Applejack and Rarity.

“Are you alright?” she asked.

“Do I look alright to you!” snapped Applejack while motioning at the wound on her leg. It hurt so much she couldn’t stand to even move her leg, let alone get up onto her hoofs.

The soldiers were marching forth, ready for the big finish, when suddenly their master appeared before them.

The soldiers stopped dead in their tracks at the sight of their master.

“Now, now, now…” he said to them, “There’s no need to destroy them all. Our point has been made quite clear already.”

He then looked at Starlight and began to approach her. “You must be Starlight Glimmer. I figured I’d find you if I threatened the guards at the palace.”

Starlight glared at him furiously, “You! I know who you are! You’re that creature from Twilight’s book! You killed Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna!!”

Yami snickered “I have destroyed so many in the past I lost count of how many, but that’s beside the point.”

“STOP!!” shouted a hoard of guards as they came rushing in to defend the ponies, but Yami just rolled his eyes sighing irritably at their foolishness!

Closer and closer the guards rushed, ready with their lances, but Yami gave one good swing with his sword…

…WHING!!

The guards just stood where they were for a moment. Their lances fell to the ground, and their blood came gushing out like balloons bursting.

Rarity screamed in horror, and she and the others watched as the bodies slipped to the ground.

“Oh my!!” squeaked Fluttershy.

Yami sinisterly licked spots of blood dripping from the blade, grossing Pinkie Pie out, but frightening her and everyone else nonetheless.

“There, that concludes today’s object lesson.” Yami hissed “I hope that you have now learned what happens to those foolish enough to defy me and the hatred.”

“You monster…!” Applejack snarled at him. Then she groaned in agony as all the stress didn’t do her wound good.

Yami only snickered at her attitude. “Yes, that’s it. Give into your inner anger! Every little bit just another tasty boost for me, and fortunately, for you, I have special need for you and your friends.”

The friends didn’t like the sounds of that, and Yami then sheathed his sword and unleashed magical waves that bound up the six ponies and all of them were powerless and hopeless to break free!

“What are you going to do to us?!” Starlight demanded.

Yami approached her and looked her dead in the eye. “I’m not taking any chances. I underestimated the love and passion of this world once, and it cost me dearly, but this time it will be quite different!”

Before long, the six ponies were imprisoned within Canterlot Palace-- sealed within clear spherical capsules, wedged between dark crystal-like spikes that drained their energies in streaking flows of colorful sparkles.

Yami snickered at them and explained, “Very soon all the love and the light will be drained from your bodies, until only the hate remains.

You’ll all make perfect servants for me as my empire grows, and you won’t be able to even try and stop. Not that anyone even can for that matter.”

Rainbow furiously pounded on the special glass of her sphere, which barely even shook, and she pounded on it, and pounded on it, all the more enraged than ever.

Fluttershy was weeping softly in fear and upset over all the ponies that were killed, including the royal sisters, and Shining Armor-- they found out.

All the negativity only amused Yami even more.

“Painful isn’t it?” he taunted them. “That’s what you get when you follow the path of love, light, and positivity.”

“How can you say such a thing?!” shouted Rarity.

“Friendship is the greatest thing that ever even happened to us!” added Pinkie.

“…Like I said.” scoffed Yami “Well, soon your little dreams will become a living nightmare, exactly as I envision it-- a whole world of darkness, hatred, and no amount of love or light will ever lift it.

…I can just taste it!”

He laughed as he walked over to his throne.

“You can’t do this to us!” snarled Starlight “We won’t let you! We’ll find a way too--”

Tami whirled round, with his eyes glowing, and Starlight was shocked by powerful energy bolts within her sphere.

“STARLIGHT!!” shouted the others, and they too were shocked by the same energy bolts.

All of them felt very sore and groggy now as their energies continued to drain out.

“You will speak only when spoken to!” sneered Yami, and he continued up the steps to his throne and held his sword up high. “This is my world now! LONG-LIVE THE HATE!!”

His evil laugh echoed all through the throne room to outside of the palace as the world around him continued to fall to his will.
