ISSUE #6 CHAPTER 9: Acension

Mayor Fisk. Speaking of Mayor Fisk, he was having a rather relaxing night. He sat in one of the most finest couch he could 'find' whilst watching a romantic comedy with his wife in his huge home on his own private land.

In layman's term, Wilson Fisk was sitting on a couch that he had one of his men kill a guy for while watching a romance movie with his wife. A slender woman with long brown hair . She wore some of the most extravagant clothing. A very, very expensive magenta dress. Vanessa Fisk as she otherwise was known as

"I'm so glad weould finally find some time to spend with me love." said Vanessa, snuggled next to Wilson Fisk. "Richard has been driving me crazy!"

"The pleasure is all mine." Wilson acted very nonchalant, but in his head he wanted to get out of watching the retched film in front of him. Not that it was bad but it was so boring to him. "Come on, Come on! Why wont this film end already. I swear this guy is such a joke and this lady keeps crying for no reason. Ugh! If I could meet these actors I'd just so much as kill hi--"

*Ring Ring, Ring Ring*

The phone began to ring, stopping Mayor Fisk's train of thought. But there was a plus to it, getting out of the horrible movie in front of him.

"Who could that be at this time?" asked Vanessa.

"I'll get it. You just stay here and sit tight." Wilson Fisk got off the couch. Getting up it was clear that he was freakishly tall even in his own home. Not to mention he was a giant. To Vanessa and everyone else, he was a Giant with a heart of gold. To the underworld, he was the most sadistically evil mastermind to walk the earth.

Fisk walked in the other room and picked up the phone. He greeted the person on the other line with a warm friendly expression.

"Hello, this is Fisk residence. How may I help you?"

"Mr. Kingpin, It's me Harron. I have some urgent news."

Kingpin's smile faded away and his eyes narrowed. His friendly tone was more grim and serious, "What is it now?"

"Y-Yes sir Uh, We've just been given word that Mr. Rich's faction has been taken down and that Mr. Rich has been placed under Police custody."

Kingpin's eyes widened. "What? How? He may be a crooked bastard but he's been undetected for years. How did it happen?"

"According to multiple reports. Spider-Man is held responsible for it."

Kingpin's eyebrows furrowed almost immediately. Before he hadn't really cared all that much about Spider-Man as he didn't really bother him. But he knew Filthy Rich and had no doubt that he told him about their ties. "Well my young friend. It seems that Spider-Man may be more of a bigger threat than I thought."

"Then, what will we do? Should we keep an eye on Filthy Rich?"

"I wouldn't think so. Even though we don't associate with him. He wouldn't dare break his oath, especially not if he's and probably will end up in the Big House."

"And His base of operation?"

"I'll take care of it. Right now you need to go inform Lonnie of the new developments. And tell him that he might need to keep an eye on Spider-Man."

"Yes sir, of course. Anything else?"

Fisk thought for a moment. With Filthy Rich out of the picture, than that means his associates would be without a job and they'd probably be everywhere. But, now knowing Spider-Man posed as a threat. He thought that Lonnie Thompson Lincoln could use the extra fire power.

"Get me Mr. Breaker's number. I'd like to offer him a proposition."

Canterlot Casino. One of the most recognizable buildings in Canterlot City. But it wasn't just known as a place where you could win big and lose everything. It was ran by a philanthropist. A Hulky man with steel coloured skin and no hair pigmentation.

He wore a black suit with a silver tie and pale blue dress shirt. He was known in the Criminal Underworld for being Big Man's opposite. He went by a few names.

Lonnie Thompson Lincoln

"L" Thompson Lincoln

But his favorite was Tombstone.

He owned the whole Casino and used it to his advantage and made the public think he was an ordinary philanthropist with no dark secrets. Of course, similar to how Filthy Rich did it.

He too used it as his place of operation. However, he didn't use the hidden elevator tactic Big Man did as he thought it was just a waste of money. Instead, his men would just come into the building wearing ordinary Casino wear to dilute ant suspicion.

He sat at his office. The top floor of the Casino and where no one but Tombstone's men and Kingpin only had authorization to be in. The office was well lit and had many expensive pieces of furniture and weaponry hanging from the walls.

His feet were placed right on top of the desk. He was watching the news on his laptop and had a smirk across his face. Everything. He read the headline and kept his best not to crack up.

"Canterlot Entrepreneur Filthy Rich Under Arrest for Organizing Criminal Activity."

But then,

*Ring Ring, Ring Ring*"

The phone on his desk began to ring. He knew almost instantly what it was gonna be about. But he answered it anyway.

"Harron."

"Mr. Lincoln, I got some news."

Tombstone chuckled a little, "No need Harron. I know. Big Man is no more."

"Oh. Um well, Big Man also wanted me to inform you about Spider-Man."

"Figures. Go on."

"He says he wants you to keep an eye on him. He thinks he might pose as a big threat to both him and you."

"Tell Kingpin I'll be sure to keep the tabs on him. But for now, I'm gonna wait and see." He hung up on the phone. Getting up from his chair, he walked over to the window next to him and that overlooked the city. He found his smirk to get only wider.

"Well Rich. It seems there's a new Big Man of Crime. And his Name is Tombstone."
