The ponies and their land spontaneously end up in the pacific ocean. Instead of peace they offer hostile take over and conversion of all humanity. The ponies know quite a bit about humanity's nature, but they seem to severely underestimate the technology they wield. Of course, humanity hasn't fired doom on the world due to the devastation it will cause. The ground is giving away quickly, and there is only so much they could do against the ponies. Looks like dooms day began early.
