Flight academy was supposed to be a wonderful learning experience, but it wasn’t for everypony. Fluttershy has learned a lot during her fillyhood, as well as going through her teenaged years. Her shyness has became a disadvantage, and has worsen every year. Because of this, she has been easily taken advantage of and let other ponies get their way. She sometimes wishes she would start a new life over again. However, life wasn’t always harsh for her.

Sometimes it’s best to be dominated, and as a result, she learned something that she wasn’t supposed to. However, this kind of experience was normal in the academy, as long as they can get away with it. She became more curious about this “experience”, which this was probably the way of trying to fit in. There’s a lot more to learn while being in the academy, and Fluttershy will learn a great deal from it.
